Have been to Woodhouse a handful of times and the overall experience has been great. I absolutely love the atmosphere and it operates. A couple of massages have been okay along with my manicure. Being in the industry myself, I think I hold a higher standard for technicians and just expect amazing service when I’m spending the amount of money that is charged.This was my manicure I got. I have been coming to Woodhouse for many years now and the customer service I receive each and every time is top notch. Never over bearing or ignored. Always friendly, helpful, patient and kind and this is just the front desk staff. The masseuse I see is always great! He Takes the time to know exactly what I need or want from that visit. Happy to be a customer for life.

I came in for a massage and pedicure. The massage with Abby was good although the room was very cold.The pedicure (can’t remember her name) was underwhelming at best. The space was dirty, more dirty than most strip mall locations I’ve frequented, I took photos. The chairs were torn up. The seat and footrest were both coming apart. She was out of my chosen color and didn’t say anything about being out of anything until I picked. When I was looking through the swatches those nails were a MESS. Chipped, broken, some broken completely off the stick. She then cut all my toenails off without asking preference or consent, some were so short it was painful for her to file them. If a nearby toe popped up she wasn’t working on she simply shoved it down and away, not gently. To top it off the “leg massage” consisted of her runningher hands up and down my oiled legs. No massaging, no rubbing, nothing. I would absolutely not come back for a pedicure here especially given the price. I’ve had far better experiences at places for probably half the price.I just really expected something more given the price and reputation of the establishment.
The massage was amazing! Abby was friendly and precise. The changing area is a bit small and was kind of hard changing in due to the traffic of other guests. The overall cost is a lot, so I don’t think this is somewhere I’d come for a massage often. This was a birthday gift from my sister, and it was worth the experience and warm welcome!
I had a body balance massage with stone enhancement for the first time and enjoyed all 110 minutes worth! Sienna was wonderful and I will definitely be requesting her the next time I come in! The only thing that could have made this better was another 110 minutes!!
Pros:- Annika is the BEST! It took it a few tries with different masseuses at Woodhouse to find one who worked for me, and Im thankful that I have. Ill never get a massage by any one else again. Each appointment is a great experience!- Very clean. Ive never seen one single dirty thing in the years Ive been going. The womens room, quiet room, massage rooms, and massage tables are always clean.- Heated massage tables and robe warmers.- Private massage rooms with nice music, dim lights, and good smells.- Bodily privacy - I never worry that Ill be exposed because I have a warm comforter covering me throughout the entire massage.- Very peaceful environment. The staff is kind and professional, and they talk in soft voices without making it weird. The only downside is that you cant control the other guests, and sometimes you get stuck in the quiet room with a loud group of people (which is not the fault of the spa).- Complimentary drinks and snacks.- The staff are constantly restocking and checking the quiet room and womens room.- Cute shop where you can purchase anything they used during your appointment that you liked (I never have bought anything, though, because its expensive).Cons:- Inconsistencies with service:--> I always ask for the same size robe and shoes, and once in a while Ill get some that dont fit at all.--> There have been times where I say Im there to celebrate something, and theyll write Happy birthday or something on my locker tag, but other times where they wont do anything for it.--> Sometimes the drinks that they have out are objectively not good (out of hot water and dont refill often, hot water is just lukewarm, lemon water is extremely bitter, etc.)- Many of their robes are discolored from washing. At least we know theyre very clean! However, it would look better if they werent bleach stained.- They recently replaced the furniture in their quiet room with new, more aesthetically pleasing stuff. This would be fine, except they went for looks over comfort- Masseuse issues: Of course every masseuse is different, but it took many tries to find one (at this spa exclusively) who respected what I didnt want done (Im autistic, and dont like certain parts of my body touched). Several previous masseuses seemed to just completely disregard my boundaries. It could have been that they just forgot, since I am pretty specific about what they can and cant do. But there needs to be some kind of a better system for them to use if they cant remember a fairly simple request.- Tipping: I wholeheartedly believe that a good masseuse deserves a good tip, and I dont short them of their 20%. But it seems a little ridiculous that a 20% tip is standard for a $200+ massage. This place probably ranks in millions per month, yet you dont pay your employees enough to get rid of mandatory tipping? Id be all for it if it was optional to thank your masseuse. But I dont like that they make it the standard and dont advertise that anywhere. People should know that they need to be prepared to pay an extra $40+ than the service fee. And regardless, I genuinely think that they should pay their employees enough that if I were to not tip, I wouldnt be seen as a terrible person. Id still do it, but at least Id know that my masseuse is making a decent living without it, and that Im not paying hundreds of dollars each appointment that dont even make it into her pocket.
It was great experience at wood house spa. I have done a couples massage retreat as well as individual massage. I appreciate their lounge experience prior to the massage. Great service and always highly recommended.
I had my very first ever professional massage with Jennifer and she was AMAAAZING! She made me feel so comfortable. Her hands and techniques are phenomenal. I would definitely go back and request for her again. I love the ambiance of the whole place too.
I’ve never experienced a spa as cozy and luxurious as this one! Everyone who works there is amazing and provides the best service. The relaxation room was great in between services, sitting next to the fireplace! They even allow you to relax in there after all your services are done, it was great to just relax and read! I will be back!

Everything was incredible for my first massage. I wasn’t sure what to expect as I have never had a massage but everything made me feel pampered from the minute I stepped inside. Everyone was welcoming and kind, my massage was wonderful and Beth did a great job communicating through the massage. The little things really elevated the experience: hot hand towel at welcome, thick comfy robes, warm your robe during massage and the calm waiting area with refreshments. I greatly enjoyed my experience today!

I participated in the special that occurred the 2 days leading up to Valentines day. My mom and I both got 50 minute massages and 20 minute reflexology. I love deep tissue & the massage did not dissapoint. The reflexology was with a different massage therapist and wasnt so great. I felt like she was barely touching my feet. The ambiance of the place is great and the staff is super friendly. I will definitely be back and if I ever get reflexology again, Ill probably just ask for someone who uses pressure since thats what I enjoy. Overall it was a fantastic experience. My mom enjoyed herself as well.
Just had one of the best massages of my life with Will at Woodhouse! Will was so kind, respectful, professional, and ensured I felt relaxed. He paid extra attention to my communicated problem areas and simultaneously made sure to give me a well-rounded experience to destress a few days before my wedding. I can’t recommend Will enough and will definitely be back to Woodhouse!
The best ever, I got the illuminate facial it was 10 out of 5 the products they use really made it great I have gotten facials before but their products blew my mind and expectations out of the water well worth the price. Shannon was the esthetician who took care of me. Shannon was so professional and amazing everything was so comfortable and relaxing she really does a great job. I will definitely be recommending the woodhousespas to friends and family!
I definitely recommend Woodhouse Spa in Arbor Lakes. I had a body massage with a hot stone enhancement. It was the first massage Ive had postpartum and it was just what I needed. My masseuse, Annika, made the experience even better. She checked in about the pressure and thoroughly let me enjoy my time. The spa itself felt like a retreat - greeted with a hot hand towel, provided with a comfy robe and slippers, theres a quiet room with drinks and snacks to relax in pre- and post-treatment, all the great smells and relaxing music, and my robe was warmed up for me to put back on at the end of the massage. Bliss!

Every member of staff at Woodhouse Arbor Lakes treats you with so much care. You can tell they have very thoughtfully included every detail to make a person feel relaxed and pampered. I knew from reading other reviews that this place would be exactly what I needed but it truly exceeded my expectations. The best massage Ive ever had - I HIGHLY reccomend doing one of the bath experiences immediately after - and there was a lovely and comfortable room they would lead you to wait in between appointments. There you are in your robe and slippers in a cozy seat, perfect temperature and lights dimmed drinking sparkling water and eating Milano cookies. Everything about this place from the services and atmosphere, to the personability and professionalism of the staff, was curated with the customer in mind. I cant wait to return. If youre needing some self-care or have something to celebrate, dont think twice - choose this place. You wont regret it.
Wonderful massage experience. I booked an 80 min session. I arrived 30 minutes ahead of time so I could fully enjoy the relaxing atmosphere prior to my session. My masseuse, Autumn, was fantastic. I returned to the waiting area to relax for some time afterwards. The ambiance is very relaxing. All the staff were kind and helpful. Highly recommend.
It’s all about details✨ my massage therapist had to cancel due to family emergency & the gal at the front desk accommodated & went above & beyond. Saray (might be spelling that wrong) 10/10 service. I received the mother to be package yesterday and it was fantastic. William provided an absolutely incredible massage and was extremely personable - I would highly recommend him! Meagan, my nail technician did a fabulous pedicure. The facility was beautiful and clean, concierge was extremely friendly, reserving my appointment and checking out was seamless. I will be back!

I took a friend here to celebrate her 30th, her first massage, my first time at a day spa.First, everybody was absolutely delightful. The entire staff was kind, and everyone had a great sense of humor.Secondly, AWESOME massage. Im pretty sure she loosened muscles in my neck that were tight from a prenatal stage.Third, the quiet room? Absolutely stunning. I just want to go back and nap there.For people unsure what to expect, heres my timelined experience.First, me and my friend entered the spa and checked in at the desk, we were then given warm hand towels with a signature soothing scent.From there the clerk took us on a quick tour, the whole spa outside of the front is low light, but not difficult to see. We were taken to a changing room (slightly cramped but arguably where you spend the least time) where we had labelled lockers and our robes and sandals (and a lil snack! Jellybeans) and they walked us through how to lock our lockers.After that we were shown the quiet room. Which is a large room with a fireplace, comfy furniture, and complimentary drinks and snacks. We personally really enjoyed the cucumber water.The clerk then bid us farewell and we went to change. Note: if you are getting a massage and are wearing a bra that doesnt clasp in the back, remove it then.The robe and sandals were quite comfy, we got to the quiet room and settled by our personalized lil cards, and filled out the provided paperwork, then just chilled.Our massage therapists arrived, friendly like everyone else, took our paperwork and led us to our room.I will say the beds are SO COMFORTABLE I was almost willing to just nap instead, very soft.The massage itself was amazing, as Ive mentioned.Afterwards I was led back to the quiet room. After I was ready to face the real world again, we went back out to the lobby, paid, and went on our way much more relaxed.It was a fantastic experience for both me and my friend. 10/10 no problems.
I experienced much needed relaxation from check in to check out. My pedicure with Melissa was very gentle and the atmosphere was heavenly. My feet are pretty again and I feel refreshed. This was worth every penny! Five Stars Every Time!!!!!

I had an amazing 80 minute deep-tissue massage with Melina today. She has magic hands and I can honestly say that Ive never felt more relaxed during a deep-tissue massage before. Ill definitely be booking my next massage with her again!
Love the ambiance, massage was terrible. For $200, extra for deep tissue, it was light pressure at best, and not even relaxing. The strokes on my back were light and short and pokey, even after I asked for work on the knots in my upper back. I need a massage after my massage today. I definitely wont be going back. So expensive for the worst massage Ive ever had.

My mom and I came here for a relaxing spa day. We had never been before but had extremely high expectations based on reviews (and the price!). The atmosphere is very relaxing and we absolutely loved the waiting room with beverages and snacks. And the robes were spectacular! The changing room is very small and there are only two bathroom areas to get undressed in private, which led to a line. Unfortunately neither of our massages met our expectations. I think we were both just expecting so much and were let down. It was relaxing but we both felt like our therapists weren’t overly skilled. Maybe we got beginners? Based on the price, we expected the best massages of our lives and that was far from what happened. Honestly there are much better spas out there, so we probably won’t return.

I find it hilarious you respond to your other bad reviews but you just get mine removed, probably because I have photos.I received a gift certificate for here for a massage, facial and pedicure. I came in on 6/9. So disappointing! I have scratch marks all over from my massage therapists fingernails (see photo of shoulder, I cant take a pic of my back). My big toe has already chipped in less than 24 hours. Ill stick with real gel pedicures from now on. This place is not worth the high price tag, and I would never come back here and spend my own money. The locker rooms were cramped and you felt like you were constantly in someones way. There were loud people in the quiet retreat area and people were on their phones. I was also annoyed that at checkout they were asking for additional gratuity when my gift certificate said on it that all gratuity was included. It seems like the employees working shouldve known that and I shouldnt of had to point it out. After three hours I left here super irritated, not relaxed. I will not be back, and I will not be referring anybody I know to come here.

Overpriced and overrated. Their manicure didnt last even two days and the polish was chipping at the tips and cracking my nails. Ive had better massages elsewhere. The locker room was crowded so we were tripping over each other to get dressed for 12:45 appointment. And their products are so expensive. A generous gift from my husband for a spa day for my daughter and I for Christmas was so not worth it. Unhappy.
This was by far the best massage I ever had. I first clicked with the Massage Therapist because we’re both from the South. But then it just got better from there. When I checked out, I told the girl about my experience. I never go anywhere else for my ‘me time’
First of all, my massage therapist Autumn was great. Very personable, friendly and did a great job on the massage. So I’d give her 5 stars. But I’ve been going to Woodhouse in Maple Grove for about 6 years now and this will be my last time there.I had scheduled an appointment with my preferred massage therapist about 6 weeks in advance. I got a call FOUR days before my appointment telling me that she had left Woodhouse a month ago and did anybody call me to reschedule yet? Nope, nobody called me! So then they had to scramble to try to find me a last minute appointment (which was hard to do of course). I had already taken that day off work too so I didn’t really want to change the date of the appointment. VERY unprofessional. They claimed they would ‘try’ to give me a free ‘add-on’ to my massage, but when I came in they never did anything. No offer of money off, nothing to make it right. Just very bad customer service for what is supposed to be a higher-end spa.The facility has gone downhill too over the years. They’ve crammed more chairs into the ‘relaxation room’ so now you are sitting right across, knee-to-knee, from others. No real snacks in there just prepackaged Milano cookies. And the locker room is always packed now usually with big groups of girls on an ‘outing’ for the day (who are loud in the relaxation room). There are plenty of other spas around with cheaper massage prices and better customer service. I’ll be going to them from now on.

I love everything about this place. Starting with their ability to accommodate a large group of women for our annual spa day. Next - as soon as you are shown back to the lockers, then the beautiful and well-appointed waiting area, you know that you are in a high-quality place. The ambiance, the service from the front desk to the massage therapists and other specialists, and the offerings are wonderful. This is not the least expensive spa - in fact I was a bit skeptical when we chose this place for the first time last year. But I can tell you its worth it. And a special shout out to Simon - his friendly, customer-oriented attitude was much appreciated.

Made an appointment for a 80 minute massage for my fiance for her birthday today and 1 and a half hours before her appointment we received a call cancelling her birthday massage! Tried to call back to reschedule for today with someone else and they did not answer. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND COMING HERE IF THIS IS HOW THEY TREAT THEIR CUSTOMERS ON THEIR CUSTOMERS BIRTHDAY!

I appreciated the efforts by the spa staff to find an alternate service to salvage the spa day. The substitute facial was excellent and waiting by the fireplace was relaxing.

This place is PERFECT. For ten+ years I have tried to find a location with similar ambience to the spa at Grandview Lodge up near Nisswa and until today I haven’t been able to. The staff is amazing. Everything from checkout, to the women’s room, to the waiting area, to the AMAZING facial by Stephanie…it all was 5 stars and more. Will definitely be back. I struggle with super dry skin and fibromyalgia and have visited many locations for different services and I’ve never been as impressed as I was today. I have already messaged several people today to visit this location and will continue doing so. Great work by ALL STAFF! 👏

Sat in the lounge by the fireplace, and a cozy, robe & slippers. Had the best relaxing massage from Lorraine. Can’t wait to go back to my favorite spa. 🥰
What a wonderful experience. I had a hydrofacial last week and it was amazing.I worked with Samantha and she was amazing.She was a perfect example of a true professional in this field.She was so welcoming and genuine but very professional.Her technique was perfect and she had great communication throughout the treatment which as someone with very sensitive skin is so important.Waiting room was clean, relaxing with some very yummy treats.They also had a birthday treat for me as well.All in all such an amazing experience.
I booked a couples massage for my husband’s birthday. Woodhouse called me once to confirm my appointment and text me several times to collect information on the event; all made me appreciate their desire to cultivate an elevated experience. Our appointment was at 5:30, and we did run late so they called me at 5:31 to ask if I was still going to make my appointment. Once we got there at check in, we were rushed to our room and ordered to take off our clothes if we even wanted our massages. We arrived at the massage room at 5:41 with these marching orders. I told the lady to slow down as this is not relaxing at all. She responded if we want our massages, take off our clothes, and they’ll be in. Of course, half way through taking our clothes off the masseuses had to come in to explain everything. Back goes our clothes. We started our massages at 5:45 and ended at 6:22 for a 50 minute couple massage. In reality, it’s 37 minutes. We got fully dressed, and the masseuses led us to a relaxing room so we can further relax. That’s where it hit me the most- my husband and I sat there fully dressed at a couch because all the other seats were taken. All the other couples had robes and slippers on, and their names on the tables. Now you can imagine how I felt-awful and awkward being fully clothed while everyone else in the room were in their robes and slippers and even embarrassed as all of this, including not having robes, slippers, nor our names, marked us for being non-compliant. We stuck out like sore thumbs! I even felt ashamed that I doubted their policy “ Late arrivals may not receive full service time due to scheduled appointments for other guests.” At 6:27pm, I paid for the 50-min couples massage and left. I am giving this a two star because they are communicative and hyped the experience up prior to the appointment. They seemed to have aspirations for an elevated experience. While They completely fulfill their commitment to ensure late arrivals do not receive full service time, they lost stars because they went above and beyond to make us feel so disrespected, uncomfortable, and dissatisfied. I’d recommend changing the “may” to “will” and that parties will receive minimal to no service in their late policy so expectations can be met instead of disappointment in the future. I will not return-There are plenty of other places who strive to give elevated experiences and will even try to treat you with respect even if you are 7 mins late. I’d recommend this place for people who are looking for a massage without an experience or customer experience, and are satisfied by being disrespected.
I am consistently blown away by the top notch quality at Woodhouse Day Spa! I have been going to this luxurious Spa from the very beginning. I was a guest within the first few weeks of it opening and I am hooked!! From the service with a smile front desk to every little detail in the Quiet Room. No shortcut is ever took with the pampering. Here is my typical experience at Woodhouse Day Spa. I arrive and check in with a friendly front desk person where there is a sign with my name on it welcoming me. I am then brought back to the Changing room where a robe, slippers and a little Welcome Back gift always await for me. I have been there over 8 times and its always different. It could be chocolates, a cookie or even a bath bomb. It makes me feel special. I change into my robe and slippers, put all of my belongs in a locked locker and head out to the Quiet Room. There is always someone waiting to escort me and ask me what I would like to drink. I typically say wine or a mimosa, cuz why not!? So I sit myself down in the beautiful Quiet Room with the warm fireplace crackling. A warm lavender neck roll is put around me and I sip my champagne as I wait for my therapist. There are some light snacks to munch on too as well as fruit infused water. It is pampering extraordinaire! Then my massage therapist comes to bring me back to the massage room. Nice lighting and a heated massage table wait for me. Then I do my 50 minute massage. I have had 3 different therapists and they are all great. I was a bit nervous at first because I like deep tissue massage so I wasnt sure anyone was going to be able to use the amount of pressure that I like. But everyone of them have been great. Recently I started getting pedicures and facials too. I like to make a day of it. Massages, facials, pedicures, shopping and lunch! If you want a day of pampering, I highly recommend Woodhouse Day Spa. I am a client for good!
I thought I found my new preferred spa when I moved to Maple Grove. I’ve made a few appointments and massages were good, a bit on the pricy side but at first I believed the experience was worth it, the rest area has a fire place and great tea. Yet, twice when I booked an appointment, navigated my schedule and drove down to the spa, they told me that unfortunately they don’t have a massage specialist available. I understand it happens, but two times in a row? With no call in advance? I am very big on customer experience - there was nothing the spa offered to improve the situation. You booked the appointment? Great. You drove down? Yep. Sorry, we just found out, you can leave now. I’m very disappointed in the experience. I’ll be taking new spa recommendations in the area!
I absolutely love the Woodhouse Spa. I gave my daughter-in-law a gift card and she loved it and said that I had to try it. I went for a facial and dropped the place I used to go. The environment and ambiance is amazing. I love Sam my facial person. She’s amazing and doesn’t push products. I’ll go to her forever.
I went to Woodhouse Spa as I was gifted an evening to relax. I was scheduled for an 80 minute facial. I completed intake form online prior to my appointment, however still arrived early for my appointment. Once in the quiet room, I was handed the intake form to complete again where I sat for almost 10 minutes after my service was supposed to start. The facial was okay, not the best or the worst I have had. Lights remained on the entire facial, which did not create a relaxing environment. With my facial scheduled to start at 6:30, 80 minutes would have had it ending at 7:50, however not only did it end prior to 7:50, but it definitely did not start near 6:30. Very dissatisfied in the cost with the length of service that was actually provided.
From the moment I stepped in, I had a great experience from all staff and the environment. I loved my facial and Maya was knowledgeable, professional, and accommodating to my specific needs. She answered all questions and made my time spent there very enjoyable. I will definitely go back again!
I got the minkyti facial and a deep tissue massage here today. Maya did my facial and was absolutely phenomenal. She was welcoming and kind, explained everything thoroughly, and was very knowledgeable. She explained the concerns about my skin without being judgemental and recommended products for my specific skin needs. She even took time to write down a recommended skincare routine going forward to help aid my skincare journey.The deep tissue massage was also lovely. The masseuse asked if there were any specific area to focus on or avoid, as well as the pressure I preferred. The music selection was nice, but the room must have been near a supply area because I could hear employees talking and general noise outside of the room, which was a little bothersome. But overall I felt very comfortable and it was a very relaxing massage.Overall it was a wonderful experience and Im planning on coming back in the future.
The entire experience was amazing! Very friendly staff, this was my first time visiting and they walked me through the whole process. My Therapist Abby, was very very polite and professional! Worked on all my problem areas! Gave me very clear after care and what too expect since again my first visit.5 Stars all around!
Loved it here. I love the comfy robes, your name is displayed on the locker upon arrival, the relaxing waiting room offer snacks, sweats, and beverages. The massage therapists are nice and good. Nice place for any special event 🥰🥰 The only Con is the massages are 50mins insta of 60min. I was a massage therapist for 15 years and always thought 50min for $80-120 was a rip off. Definitely go for the experience and stay for the relaxation to get your moneys worth 🥰
I used to love this place. I was here when they first opened and I have experienced everything they have to offer from nails, massage, facials etc. However, my last experience made me unfortunately not want to go back. I had a massage and a facial and both women who did these talked my ear off the whole time, had the lights on and it was not peaceful like I was used to. I liked it better when the lights were off and no one talked to me so I could be at peace getting a facial or massage. Not worth the money.

I just had an 80 minute massage with Abby and it was fabulous! It was very relaxing, she had great techniques to work my muscles and the pressure was just right. I have always had wonderful experiences at Woodhouse and I will be back.
I had a wonderful, relaxing facial here (illuminate with the gua sha add-on). Maya was very professional and knowledgeable and I was in excellent hands. This made up for my first experience at the spa two years ago, when they canceled on me the day of my scheduled massage, and I had taken the day off of work. Glad I gave them a second chance — they seem adequately staffed and the service was great. I’m looking forward to my next visit.
We visited Woodhouse Arbor Lakes as a group of 4 for pedicures for a birthday celebration in June. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly. The facilities were clean, quiet, and relaxing. Excellent quality on the pedicure itself for all 4 of us. Overall, a great treat and a restful/rejuvenating morning - highly recommend Woodhouse. We will definitely be back in the future.

I have loved each time that I’ve visited. Everyone that works there has been really kind, respectful, and knowledgeable. I actually enjoy getting there early just to sit in the quiet relaxing room. This past visit Annika gave the most amazing hot stone massage. My back literally feels like new. I can’t wait to go back!

I have chronic pain and saw Lee for a deep tissue massage. He was careful to escalate pressure on problem areas and very friendly. Deep tissue by its nature is intense, but I feel great. The facility is lovely with a detailed aesthetic (and I got snacks). Well worth the time and money.

I will be back!Original Review:We were really excited to get some celebratory massages for a huge milestone in our lives, so we booked a while ago. They called to confirm a couple days ago, but called 2 hours before our appointments to say they could not perform both massages due to an illness. We understand people get sick, but the lack of notice and lack of good solutions (split the long massage into two separate 40 minute massages or possibly drive all the way down to the Woodbury location) is very upsetting.
Ive had a handful of massages from different places before, and I can easily say this was the best experience Ive had from beginning to end. The girls who work there are so sweet, and my massage therapist was just amazing. The price point is definitely worth it and reflects how good youre gonna feel.
I had a hydrating facial and signature pedicure at Woodhouse Spa and both services were wonderful and relaxing. The staff is very professional, the setting is comfortable and serene and the products used were perfect for my skin. They are size inclusive, which is an added bonus!

The booking process was super simple and staff followed up with questions to make my experience the best it could be before even arriving. Went for the 1st time for a couples massage for my birthday. We both had great massages that were a great hybrid of relaxing & tension relieving with attention to detail. I really enjoyed the relaxing spa atmosphere, loved sitting in the quiet room before & after, enjoying tea and cookies. Nice personalized & detailed touches, like writing happy birthday on the locker & welcome signs, a chocolate in our lockers, the robes were warmed during the massage, etc. Wish the quiet room fireplace was on/working, but was still enjoyable. Hope to try other services in the future!
Kim does the best Mani Pedis. I love the seasonal applications. My hands and feet are so soft and the polish lasts a long time. All of the staff is wonderful and helpful.
Have gotten multiple massages here and they are a top notch spa! The relaxation room before and after your massage is so zen. I would also highly recommend Layla for deep tissue massage for anyone who wants extreme pressure. Layla is amazing!

My brother got me a gift card for my birthday and I was finally able to use it on my last day of all kids in school and a day off of work. Boy was I glad I did!If any of yall ever need a massage so deep its scraping bone marrow or separate-your-soul-from-your-bodily-prison level of massage go to Woodhouse and book a sports massage with Layla. I was worried it wouldnt be as advertised looking at this small little woman but Layla actually has adamantium bones making her fingers and elbows like metal blades! And the stretching... yes I may be a bit confident that Im fairly flexible but Layla will stretch you past it to where you think your joints are now 300* hinges. I was laying on a massage table with the heat on and requested it turned off because I was sweating hard from this workout- I mean massage. It felt like she was injecting lava into my veins and muscle where she attempted to filed down my bones and when she moved to a new spot, the area then went weak and soft... like when you confront your child about stealing your candy and they fold like a house of cards. Afterwards, I dont know if its because it had ended or it actually did the job but I felt glorious- though I looked like a sweating piece of road kill! Overall this was a great experience from the moment I walked in till I left. They had greeted me so warmly when I arrived and gave me a tour. My name was on my locker, they gave me a warmed up plush robe and slippers that actually fit my mammoth feet, handed me glasses of cucumber infused water and yummy treats all in a quiet and tranquil relaxing room. Then after checking out they walked me to the door held it open an waved me on my relaxed way!So yeah 10/10 recommend the sports massage but only if you need to be turned goo

I received a gift card from my husband for Christmas and booked a Calming Retreat. My practitioner was Annika. She was wonderful. I love massages but had never had a hot stone massage before. I can now say that a hot stone massage is like a regular massage but better! Hands are still best for the massaging part, but the stones are used just long enough to turn on your nerve endings and heat up those muscles. The rooms here are the best for luxury and relaxation. Will visit again!
I was gifted a massage for WoodHouse Spa at the location in Maple Grove, MN. (Arbor Lakes) My overall experience was so amazing! Truly, perfection. The moment I walked through the door I was treated like royalty. Simon at the front desk was extremely helpful, unbelievably kind and really knows his stuff! Jessica was my massage therapist. Stephanie seriously has the hands of an angel! I have received two facials from her which were both absolutely fabulous! I am a massage therapist with my own practice and to find someone who I want to come back to repeatedly says a lot. Highly recommend her in particular! The atmosphere of this spa is incredibly delightful and the cinnamon tea is my favorite!

This was our first time here…Customer service was as expected, fake and robotic.My husband and I received a couples massage which was 185.00 each person.Absolutely NOT worth that amount. I explained to the therapist what I wanted she was in a “routine” and didn’t massage the areas of concern. My husband said the room was cold, there was nothing they could do they said, so thru the massage he was cold and said he felt like all she did was rub oil on him.For the price of the massages in total it’s not worth it at all.When stating our concerns we were told, “sorry for your experience I will pass this information along to my manager.”These were not “experienced” therapist they massage like they were just out of school.Think twice before wasting your money here. I experienced before booking appointments to have therapists that were experienced. There is an art to massage therapy I felt worse after session the before I was on the table my husband said the same thing.We would have been better off to burn our money at a camp fire.

I am completely in love with the Woodhouse. Ive had massage, pedicure, and facial services previously, and cant wait to go back. The staff are so kind from the moment you arrive, and the whole mood of the place is completely divine. Quiet. Comfortable. Relaxing. It is a little on the pricier side when you compare the service to other salons, but I promise this place is worth the indulgence.

We had reservations for my daughters 18th birthday for manicures and massages and they were canceled with no notification. There was a snowstorm the night before and I called to let them know we would be late 20 minutes before our appointment and there was a message saying that all appointments had been canceled and we would contacted to reschedule so I left a message and then tried to figure out how to change plans to celebrate my daughters birthday. 7 hours later I got a call in return and before they even finished introducing themselves they hung up. That was over a week ago and I still have not heard from them. They required I give a credit card number so they could charge me if I canceled but feel that they can so rudely cancel on a client themselves?
Just left this place after visiting for the first time and it exceeded my expectations!! Felt so relaxed at the end of my service. My boyfriend and I were very happy. Came to celebrate our anniversary and from the front desk to the people that gave our massages it was a beautiful experience. 10/10 HIGHLY recommend.

It was good but it definitely wasn’t $500 good (Couples Massage)Pros: personalized feeling with your names on place cards/lockers, your own robe and shoes, fireplace room is relaxing and has drinks/snacks, everyone who works there was kind and respectfulCons: the locker rooms had overflowing laundry bins, no clean hand towels, the girls locker room is way too small compared to how many people were in/out of there, massage therapist “Lee” was good but not great (definitely happy I paid the $10 deep tissue up charge) he was strong but I was less than impressed with his techniques - likely just his training, but at one point I was thinking to myself, “Am I on impractical jokers?” because some of the motions he was doing were laughable. He was also sick with “bad allergies” and with the whole COVID thing I left feeling very worried i would be sick too (that is still TBD). He was super sweet, but I would not go back to see him again. Boyfriend said his massage therapist was good.Overall the $500 wasn’t worth it. I would opt to find a different massage business with better pricing, better massage therapists, clean changing rooms.I am editing to add management said they’d follow up to discuss the issues but they never did (they ghosted me, in true retail professional service).

I was very disappointed with my experience at woodhouse spa. I received a gift card from a friend that highly recommended the spa & it fell far short of what I was hoping for. After arriving a half hour early as recommended by the spa, (to simply relax for my birthday) my massage therapist was 7 minutes late for my appointment? (which probably wouldn’t have bothered me, had I not drove 45 minutes to this spa for my service, from my home, to use this gift card). Then this massage therapist went on to talk for the whole first half of my massage, basically up until I stopped responding (because again I just wanted to relax). I am sincerely hopeful that this is not the norm and it was just this massage therapists first day, a really off day or something along those lines… because this was hands down the worst massage I’ve ever gotten. I guess i’m just bummed because I think the saying “you get what you pay for” usually holds true, but that was just simply not the case here. Unprofessional and inexperienced at best. Lastly, I stood around waiting to pay after my massage for nearly 10 minutes before someone came to help me at the desk. Had I known this would be my experience I honestly would have just used the gift card towards products rather than a service. Completely and utterly disappointed, I will never be back.

Every time I come here everyone has such a welcoming attitude, I never am made to feel like just another client. The massage therapists are good about making sure their pressure is to your liking. I did one of their soaks and i feel like this is a wonderful experience espdcially if you dont get to take baths at home. The atmosphere is also wonderful too. If youre looking for somewhere to escape your everyday craziness, this is the place to do it.

I notoriously have had terrible luck at other spas (like Massage Envy or Hand & Stone) yet my husband has continued to try to find me a place that I can look forward to returning to. Woodhouse is that place! I had an exceptional experience today as a new customer. The atmosphere is divine. The amenities are so convenient (lotion, mouthwash, feminine hygiene products in the bathroom; water, sparkling water, tea and snacks in the waiting area). My masseuse (Annika!) was wonderful; she listened to my needs and ensured throughout that I was comfortable and happy. I will be returning & suggest this spa to others! I normally dont sound so braggy in reviews, but Im very impressed.
I just had an amazing Calming Retreat ritual with Lee. I can be picky with pressure, however he was spot on! The hot stones were the most relaxing and I’m not sure I can ever go without now! I booked a Holistic Body Detox for my next experience and cannot wait!!! I have been going to the Woodhouse for years, and would never choose another place. The staff are so professional, and I never feel insecure (even though I’m a bit fluffy). I’m absolutely in love with the new grey robes!!! Love love love this place and the fantastic team!

It was easy to make an appointment online. I loved the size of the lockers to put your belongings in, and the area to change/shower in. The room for relaxing in before and after my appointment was warm and comfortable. The heated bed was one of my most enjoyable parts. I really enjoyed the time spent, and already have booked another appointment for another relaxing service offered. Thank you for helping make mine and my daughters experience a great one.
Had a wonderful experience at Woodhouse Spa! My wife and I recently celebrating our 5 year wedding anniversary with a stay-cation and we decided to get a couples massage at Woodhouse. The day of the appointment we received a call from the spa letting us know that one of the therapists for our appointment was not available and that we would need to reschedule or cancel. After explaining our situation Woodhouse was very quick at finding a solution that made my wife and I feel special with minimal impacts to our originally scheduled massage. This great experience will result in my wife and I to exclusively attend Woodhouse Spa for our future massages in the Twin Cities area.

Came here for a facial with my sister. Such a lovely experience from the start. They already had my robe and shoe size from the beginning and had them in a locker with my name on it. As a plus size woman this made me feel so validated not having to trade sizes to find the right one.Had my first facial and it was so relaxing. I felt like my skin looked more vibrant and healthy after and I’m looking forward to the next one! Highly recommend!

Absolutely glorious 80 minute deep tissue massage with CBD add-on. Lee checked in throughout the massage to make sure the pressure was okay, which I appreciated, but also left me to relax into the massage and just enjoy the moment.

A friend and I came to Woodhouse for our first ever massages, and the experience was lovely! The facility is beautiful and we were given a tour upon arrival. Everything is appointed wonderfully and the service was excellent. We felt very pampered and doted upon. The quiet room was an oasis, and the apple cinnamon water was a very nice treat. The massage was very enjoyable and the whole experience was very relaxing. We did not feel rushed at any point in the process, and would definitely return.

The nail tech was nice and she did a great job. The previous salon that I went to started filling my feet dry and rushed. It was nice and relaxing to just read while getting taken care of and my feet feel great and look great.

This was my go to spa in more than one state for over five years until my last visit. They have great staff & offer a pampering experience well worth their inflated prices until you interact with their front desk & business managers.There have been so many mistakes forgiven like duplicate profiles, lost appointments etc. Every time I visit the front desk is on the phone apologizing at length to a dissatisfied customer for some mix up or mistake.My last visit was the final straw. The front desk refused to honor a gift card that I received for Mother’s Day. No big deal I paid. Their system glitched and so they charged me twice. The staff knew it might be the case & told me to call the next day for an immediate refund.This was eight days ago. A dozen calls later plus emails with screenshots of the charges, & the manager has yet to refund my account for the duplicate charge. The aggravation this has caused me has undone any relaxation or care provided. I have received no apology.This may seem small, but imagine the reaction if you visited their spa, received services & eight days later had yet to pay them. This is no way to run a business. They have got to get their act together. They have lost another loyal customer.
Purchased several gift certificates for clients of mine. Recently learned their manicures an pedicures didn’t even last a week. I can’t speak about their other services but having paid for several $200 mani/pedi gift certificates I would’ve expected they last longer than a week. I will not purchase gift certificates here again. I feel foolish!

First time/place I’ve been where a deep tissue massage has actually been deep tissue. Travis was great! He listened to my trouble areas and did some great targeted treatments. Highly recommend!
Just had a lovely facial at The Woodhouse! Stephanie and I clicked immediately; I explained that my skin had gone through some changes and that I’d love for this to be an educational experience. She took the time to understand my concerns, my routine, and my comfort level with different types of products and talked me through everything she was doing and seeing with my skin. We chatted the whole time and it was a relaxing, fun 50 minutes! I left with my skin looking better than it has in months. I’ll be back to see Stephanie soon!

Overall I truly do enjoy the Woodhouse spa! I have gotten multiple services from the spa and all have been top notch quality from the products they use to the employees who provide each service! I ran into a scheduling issue with them and they were willing to make it right and handled it well. I am happy to say I will for sure be back!
The best spa in MN hands down! Staff is always the sweetest, best pedicures and amazing massages!! Highly highly recommend to anyone needing a little me time. Oh and the relax room is worth all the money in the world for all you parents 😊
This was the first prenatal massage I’ve enjoyed during my pregnancy. I truly thought as someone who only does deep tissue massages normally that I just wouldn’t find a place that does prenatal massages well compared to the relaxation I get from deep tissue. However, it was outstanding. I’m only disappointed that I did not discover how amazing Woodhouse was earlier than 35 weeks along!
I was in for a body balance 50 minutes massage. Since I was a new client I arrived 30 minutes prior to my appointment at 11:30a as per spa policies. There was another person in front of me and by the time I checked in it could have been 11:40. When I checked in I was told that there will be a chair with my name plate on the side table and new client paperwork. When I went in the quite room there were other clients with their names by the their chairs and also saw someone with the paperwork. But there was no chair set up for me. I changed and came back to the quite room still there was no chair for me . I sat there until Lexi brought me back around noon and she asked me for the form. Since I didnt have it, she went and got it for me and asked me to just sign and fill out rest of the info after the massage. My massage didnt start till 10 minutes after and was done little before 12:50. So I didnt even get 40 minutes of massage. As per spa policies if someone is late to their appointment, the appointment time will not be extended and will be charged full price. So how come when someone else messed up at the front desk with the paperwork and got 10 minutes less on my massage and I was still charged a full price? I felt cheated on time. These massages are expensive and every minute is valuable. Even though Lexi did a good job, I am disappointed with their customer service.
After passing my feedback along about my less than great first experience here, the owner reached out to me. Amy is kind, genuine and really cares about the guest experience. I was impressed by the way she dug in to all the issues with my experience.My sister and I were invited back and my experience was excellent this time! We both had The Woodhouse Escape and would absolutely recommend. The service is relaxing, has several different elements to it and I left feeling refreshed.I loved all the little details that make the experience at Woodhouse more personal- like the name cards and the locker set up. I also enjoy the high quality touches of the spa that make the experience feel even more luxurious- like the thick and comfy robes and sandals. And THE QUIET ROOM. It is gorgeous! I love the raised inset ceiling. The fireplace. The rounded walls (no hard corners). The driftwood table. So lovely and relaxing. Be sure to grab one of the cookies while you’re there!Hope to be back again soon. Thank you Amy and Woodhouse staff!

I had my first facial which was a hydrating facial and left feeling refreshed! The facial included neck and upper back massage along with foot massage - this far exceeded my expectations! Kristy made future facial recommendations for my specific skin needs, I look forward to more self-care!
My mom, sister and I all had a wonderful experience at Woodhouse Day spa yesterday. The staff was extremely professional and prompt in bringing us to each of our services and was very easy to work with when scheduling multiple services for 3 people and making sure we could all start and end around the same time. The ambiance truly made the experience special and I can’t wait to come back very soon!
My coworkers and I scheduled facials and massages for an event and we were impressed. When we arrived the staff had our names written on our lockers with our robes and slippers ready to go. We all felt relaxed and had amazing services. The atmosphere is amazing; dim rooms, essential oil smell, and quiet music. I highly recommend the Illuminating Facial - my skin looked and felt AMAZING afterwards.
I really want to give this spa a good review after a couple of friends told me that they had massage services here, and I went in for a facial for my birthday.The ambiance is definitely beautiful, you are given snacks, tea, robe , slippers, and relax in a quiet room before your treatment. I got woodhouse spa facial which is supposed to be for exfoliating and cleaning the skin but walked out with pore filled skin. I gave it up to a week to see if it would clear up, as sometimes it can make your face detox but it looked like I broke out and did not just spend over $200 on a glowing and exfoliating facial!! I played phone tag with the manager a few times to let her know about my feedback and sent a follow up email but never heard back.Please go elsewhere if your intention is to deep clean your skin, and you can do it for a lot less.
First of all, I have to admit that I never write reviews for places, but when I left the Woodhouse, I knew in good consciousness, I needed to tell everyone about my experience.My daughter and I went to the Woodhouse Spa for some mommy and me time. Upon entering, we were warmly greeted by such a pretty, friendly, smiling staff. A staff led us to the beautiful changing room and gave us the most cozy robes and spa sandals we have ever worn-and were picky! We started to feel like royalty. Well, it didnt end there. While in the second room, the waiting room, we sat in amazing lounging chairs with tasty beverages and healthy snacks. The soft music, lighting, and ambiance were soothing-absolutely incredible! And can you believe we didnt even get our pedicures yet? The pedicures were outstanding-the pedi chairs were out of this world, and the pedicurist was so experienced, polite and lovely. Seriously, the cleanliness and newness of this spa, excellent staff and peaceful, comforting experience will definitely bring us back. Ive told all my friends and Im telling you- If you want to be seriously pampered and treated like a queen in a very luxurious spa, youre in the right place. This place does customer service right. My husband already knows where to go to get a gift card for my next birthday, Christmas, and Mothers day. I cant wait to schedule to go another time with a friend. Hats off to this new spa for exceeding our very highest expectations. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

When to have our first massage my wife nand I, we had a gift card in which my wife told whosoever she spoke with on the phone.And was asking the person of what is what about this place with regards to pricing and services, we couldnt get that information on the phone.We booked the appointment there was no text or email from them given any information about this place.As we enter the building the usher us in and started providing services to us. To my knowledge they already know we had a gift card which we spoke of.These was limited information provided, as we went into the process and coming up to give them the gift card this lady said is was $590 I was wthWhy wouldnt you not talk about pricing with the client before getting anything done. when we told you guys we had gift card of $250 and we would like to know what the cost because we havent done a massage before.Another lady came and said we should make the payment shes going to listen to the recording of the call we made to know the who we spoke to and whatever whatever.That was very crazy...This place need to do way better with communication, that was my first time and definitely the last.You guys can have money, cause even we we walk to the front desk the receptionist should have said something about service and pricing to a client before taking them at the back to get anything down.
The facial was amazing, felt and saw a glow after. The mani and pedi had so may different colors to choose from (much more than other places I’ve been to) and it is in a calming room. Great hand and foot/calf massage too! The only reason I didn’t give it five stars what because it was pricy.
I got a neck, back and shoulder massage as well as a seasonal pedicure.The robes and slippers were a nice touch, but the spa itself wasnt as beautiful as I would have thought it would be. The quiet room was fine, but the massage room was too basic and too bright during the massage. The neck, back and shoulder massage was amazing - my therapists name was Kelsey (I think). I would 100% see her again.Also, the room for the pedicure was very bright and not relaxing. It looked just like a nail place in a mall would look. The pedicure itself was fine but not worth the spa cost of $65.Id recommend getting a massage at this location, but I wouldnt recommend nail services.
Overall experience was great. The employees were all pleasant and the services good. Nametags on lockers is a nice personal touch. However, I did not care for the assigned seating in the lounge. I prefer to choose my own place of comfort & relaxation.

I came to WH after a hectic and stressful month at work and had the most relaxing evening. From the second I walked through the door the staff made me feel so welcomed and peaceful. Before and after my treatment I loved sitting in the quite room and just being present with myself!
The atmosphere, staff, and amenities were wonderful. The Deep Tissue massage with Lexi was outstanding! She listened, was thorough and was overall beyond fantastic! I would highly recommend Lexi as well as Woodhouse Day Spa!

I visited Woodhouse for the first time today, and had a wonderful experience! From the moment I came in, everyone was extremely friendly and welcoming. I felt immediately comfortable and relaxed.Angelique gave me my massage, and she was perfect. She catered to the areas of my body that needed the most help, and checked in occasionally to make sure the pressure and table temperature was comfortable while still allowing me to relax and enjoy the experience. She was extremely caring and seemed to be very passionate about her work. I would highly recommend going to see her!Can’t wait to go back! Can definitely see spending some time here with friends, or taking my mom when she is in town!Thank you for a great evening!
Me and my other two friends made a last min appointment, it was our very first time getting a professional massage and they were all very welcoming and positive. I did the deep tissue massage and had a long time knot on my lower back due to dance and I forgot who but she was able to finally got it out. Although I was very sore the next few days. But I still enjoyed my time there, it was very luxurious and calm.
Woodhouse Spa is the absolute best. I have been here for facials, massage, and nail treatments and have always felt pampered. The treatments never feel rushed and all of the staff is just wonderful. I recommend this place to everyone.

Had the most amazing evening at the spa! My boyfriend and I got pedicures and a couples massage. Both our nail technicians and massage therapists were wonderful. From a very easy and reliable appointment booking process to being greeted upon our arrival and being offered beverages in the VIP room, the customer service is top notch. Our spa services were beyond our expectations; we felt pampered, well cared for and extremely relaxed. We have both been here before and will continue to enjoy coming here and telling friends/family about our great experiences!
I love the Woodhouse Day Spa in Maple Grove. I have celebrated my birthday there for the last 3 years and every time I go the staff makes me feel like a close friend welcoming me into their home. The services are always well done and leave me feeling like a million dollars. I highly recommend this spa.

Huge shout out to this spa and all the employees. I had such an amazing experience for both my visits! In December, my husband and I visited the day before our wedding as a way to relax in preparation and the service we received was impeccable. They put us in a private quiet room and offered champagne and little cakes. There was a little mix up with male versus female therapists but it was only a minor hiccup and turned out to not be a big deal (I thought my husband was uncomfortable with a male therapist in the room but turned out that was a misunderstanding and it didnt matter at all). I returned yesterday for a little personal care and did a spa day - massage, facial, and pedicure - and again received the same impeccable service. The quiet room is just as relaxing as the services provided. Hannah provided probably the best massage Ive ever had! The illuminating facial offered excellent glowing skin results (although as a heads up wasnt a super relaxing process as steps had to be explained due to the type of facial I signed up for - I guess the organic discovery facial is more of the relaxing style). The pedicure was pretty standard however the technician did provide a new nail color recommendation which I love, and she was very friendly! My only recommendation for the spa would be to not allow cell phones in the quiet room at all. In theory it shouldnt be a big deal if people are on them quietly however multiple people had dings go off, one listened to a voicemail, and one lady even answered and talked on her phone for almost 5 minutes! She moved to the back of the room and apologized after but I found it very disrespectful she answered the call at all/didnt step all the way out of the quiet room. Overall, I would 100% recommend this spa to anyone and everyone! It is a luxury and you will spend a pretty penny but its worth every cent:)
