Perfection as always! This salon has been my go to and I will continue to come here ❤️🖤❤️. Jade is my favorite and she really knows my style and preference on length and shape! Don’t go anywhere else! Van’s Nails and spa is hands down the best in the cities!

Ive been here twice and will definitely be back. Clean and well kept store. They listened to what I wanted for shape and length, and treated me with respect.This is a photo a week beyond manicure, and they still look the way I like them.Update: third time here. The sparkly color I chose wasnt quite right, so he did a quick change on the spot, and I love it! Such great attention to detail.

Unfortunately a horrible experience. Jade was the worst human I’ve met in a while.I was recommended to this salon and drove 25 mins to check it out, they open at 11am, I had an appointment at 11 and was there at 11:03, I walked in and was greeted by the host that pointed to where I could seat, I did and I was getting ready to stay and get comfy, when a woman named Jade tells me her table is somewhere else and points away a bit annoyed, I got up and Followed her to her table and her first words to me where “do you have a picture or what color do you want?” I replied no, that I didn’t have a picture and wanted to see their options first, I love to get the fun colors with cat-eye or color changing polish, so I wanted to first see, she seemed very annoyed by my response and angrily went to grab their basket of colors which she slammed down in front of me, she wasn’t talking to me at all, which is fine if she doesn’t want to but I tried making a joke to make her laugh and was still getting the cold shoulder from her, I was starting to get extremely uncomfortable because she started being rough and made 3 fingers bleed, she asked again what color I wanted but I still wanted to look around their “premium polish” that get the special spot on the wall, so when she was done applying acrylics I got up to look around as to which she was sitting waiting for me with the worst “I hate my job and you” face leaning on her table with her palm on her face, I came back and picked one and she quickly turns around to go get it before I’m allowed to ask for a second color, at this point I’m ready to walk out but sit and ask her “ are you having a bad day?” She ignored me, I asked again why are you being rude? Again completely ignored me, that was the breaking point for me, I think it is extremely rude to ignore someone that’s taking to you knowing you heard them. I got up before color could be applied and wanted to pay for the work I had done and leave, the owner tried to save the situation and kindly finish the horrible beginning, but I honestly didn’t want to be there anymore, the whole time I was there Jade never seemed to be absolutely unbothered by what happened and went on to take a new customer as if nothing happened ignoring everything. I’m sorry but with the amount of competition and nail salons out there you can’t jeopardize customer service with your bad attitude. Women spend lots of money on nails and pedicures knowing they are entirely unnecessary if we are being honest, they are more of a reward for yourself and your hard work, so you look forward to a nice experience, and to go to a place where you are supposed to be “pampered” and instead be treated like garbage is utterly disgusting and derogatory. No one deserves to be treated wrongly, and if she was having a bad day, or my 3 min late was an excuse to be rude; Jade, as the adult woman that you are you should know how to control your emotions and understand that you are working and that money is paying for your expenses so whether you like it or not, it is your job is to put a good face and set your troubles for later, I’m sure we all have days where we just don’t want to show up to work but that doesn’t mean you take it out on your patrons. So I just want Jade to know that I have no idea what your problems are but you honestly ruined my entire day and experience, you made me feel so bad you achieved to darken the rest of my day, I got a horrible migraine with your bad vibes of how bad I felt after leaving your salon, of the impotence you made me feel, and had to cancel plans. I’m not someone that likes to leave reviews often but boy did you deserve this one! I really wanted you to see this and know that you were wrong for treating me like that, what a shame they have you there it being such a pretty salon.

I have been a customer of Van’s nails for the last two years and I am a returning customer because of the high quality experience that I have during every appointment. I get Gel-X nails done by Jade, and my pedicures are typically done by Mika! Jade is a kind woman, who takes her craft as a nail technician very seriously! She was the first nail tech at Van’s to learn how to apply Gel-X extensions, and she has truly executed my nails beautifully each and every time! Jade always listens to my design ideas, and she always brings my design visions to life. I appreciate her so much! I also adore Mika, as she is equally as hard working and detail oriented. Mika provides the best pedicure service and I always walk away feeling like a new woman. The entire team of Van’s has been more than kind to my husband and I and I truly feel appreciated as a customer. Van the owner truly has hired and trained an amazing and talented team and I would recommend anyone looking for a clean and professional nail salon with talented staff to book an appointment at Van’s ASAP. Van’s nails was amazing! A chic and relaxing environment and friendly staff! I was offered a drink right when I sat down and then got to sit and relax for an hour! :) great pedicure and even better leg and foot massage by Alice! Also super clean too! They wrapped the tub and change out for each person. Totally recommend!

Athasha Nail techShe is an amazing person and would recommend her for anybody trying out or wanting a professional nail tech. She is a blend of professional and friendly that is so welcoming and comfortable. She respects you and takes her time to make sure that you get exactly what you want and what you were paying for.She Understands communication so well and when you want to talk and when you don’t. Every time I see her, I’m always happy at The end of our session and leave with a joyful feeling. We can talk about the strangest topics and it never feels boring. she is truly an amazing person and my respect and appreciation

Love this salon :) everyone on staff are so wonderful and friendly. I wanted bandana nails and Van was helpful with finding the best technician to get my desired look. They came sooo bomb and I’ve gotten so many compliments. Will defs be back :)

This was my first experience at Van’s and I had a great experience. The nail tech was very wonderful,. He was thorough and had good attention to detail. He did a great job on my leg massage, nail trim (exactly what I requested) and overall pedicure. The atmosphere at Vans was so relaxing, the chairs were newer and comfortable. This will be my go to place everytime I visit MN!

Just visited here for the first time and it will not be my last - possibly the best pedicure I’ve ever had!! We both got the icedancer pedicure and loved the scrub and massage they did for our feet and lower legs in addition to regular nail polish. They had 10-15 different scrub types and scents and have the benefits of each type on the scrub menu list. So many color options and I found the most beautiful icy silver color to use. They were very patient as we tried to decide what to get. The massage chairs we sat in were also very comfy and nice to use. The upper back massager squeezed my shoulders a bit uncomfortably but the rest more than made up for it.Extreme attention to detail and to our comfort. I am heat sensitive and they made the water less hot for me and aired out my hot towels longer before wrapping my legs. Also extremely polite and friendly stylists. They do take walk-ins and there was no wait when we got here (mid-afternoon on a Saturday). They also do online booking and have a great and easy-to-navigate website.I’m already looking forward to coming back!Second visit was just as good as the first! Got just the standard ‘smoothing’ pedicure this time and it was honestly nearly as luxurious as the ice dancer, just minus the scrub on my legs but $47 (plus tip/tax).

Do not recommend. First off apparently they assume white people can’t understand them when they speak in their language. I heard nearly everything said about me by them. The lady who did my nails didn’t seem to even want to be there. She was not friendly and didn’t speak to me much at all. Which I get that’s fine whatever. She acted like she understood I wanted acrylics and white tips ($56). She was very rough and kept pinching my hands. She made a few fingers bleed as well. She didn’t do any prep to my nails like she didn’t clip them at all or clean them off she just started glueing on the tips. She glued every single tip not only to my nail which is normal but also my skin. All of my nails look different. Some are super thick and lumpy and others aren’t even filled down to the edge and look like they’ve been growing out for weeks not freshly done. She also decided to use gel polish over the nails failing to mention the up charge and I didn’t think anything of it as we spoke about it prior to beginning as to what I wanted. Needless to say service ended (she barely used any lotion and just slapped it on super fast) and it was time to pay she tells me it’s $75 I looked confused but I paid it cause I was t going to be rude then it asks for a tip and she was breathing down my neck watching the screen. I paid and went out to the car but the longer I looked at my nails the angrier I got so I went in to complain. The receptionist was more than professional trying to help me and understand the issue. The nail tech comes charging up and starts immediately denying and accusing me of lying and literally making everyone stare at us. Finally they agree to refund me the up charge for the gel I didn’t ask for but as they’re doing this still a ton of attitude and another woman comes up and very obviously takes a picture of me and my mother in law. As if we’d ever step foot back inside that shop. Funny. Very unprofessional couple of ladies. The other people working there seemed nice and friendly but the one who did my nails and the super crabby lady taking pictures really need a few classes on professionalism and working with people. I will never be back. Waste of time and money.

Today was my first time at Van’s Nails and Spa. I’m new to the area and I really needed to find a place to get my nails done. I walked in without an appointment and didn’t have to wait long. My nail tech was quick, but thorough. My pedicure and manicure did not feel rushed. This was a very pleasant experience; my nails look great.

One of the worst experiences I have ever had with the customer service. The artist was nice and she did a great job and this 1 extra star is for her. This was my first time at Van’s and my boyfriend made the appointment so I could enjoy a relaxing day. The receptionist was so mean and unprofessional, I almost didn’t believe it. And when I said she was being rude, she doubled down. This place was fairly expensive and very busy. Based on their ratings and the website , this place looked great but that behaviour was unacceptable. It literally ruined my afternoon which was supposed to be my relaxing day. It ended worse but learned my lesson, never again. I hope no one has to experience this ever.

Kelly exceeded my expectations! The place was really busy so we got started later than my apt time but she was quick and still very thorough and attentive. Definitely recommend Kelly at VAN nails & spa.

I’ve been coming here for a few years now. Van, Jade, Kelly and Trisha have all done my nails and/or pedicure at some time or another. They take their time and strive for customer satisfaction. Never had an issue that they weren’t willing to resolve. The entire Van’s Nails crew is friendly, social, professional, light hearted and fun! And the atmosphere is beautifully decorated and always relaxing and welcoming.

Alice is the best! She is so talented, funny, and beyond sweet. Even when I take 9 years to pick a color or ask if one makes my fingers look fat. She has the patience of a saint. LOL. I am so lucky to have found her. My nails last for weeks even tho Im a dog groomer and my hands take a beating. Love the relaxed fun atmosphere of the salon. Everyone is so friendly and kind.

I love vans!! the staff are always so friendly and are willing to do anything for you. i’m always so happy about how great my nails look. they stayed late when my friends and i came in and i can really tell that they care. i will never stop recommending them!

I decided to walk into this place to treat myself to a gel mani/pedi while waiting for a friend who was at her dr appt. Michelle was so nice and really went the extra mile to make sure my nails looked amazing, even making my toe trauma big toe nails look normal and fresh. Thank you I will return!

The gentleman that gave me the pedi and mani was friendly, gentle and thorough. I hadn’t received either service in a long time and he took the time to make sure I received a really good result.

I had a great first experience (I believe it was Sarah) and decided to come back for the second time. This time I had an older lady (didn’t get her name but she’s been doing this for 20 years) and the experience was horrible. It was a very rough / painful process which I thought was supposed to be relaxing. She also made me bleed with the electric filer and cutting my cuticles too short. The nail on my thumb also looks stupidly crooked and some fingers had visible flaws / gunk / glue on.I requested a dipping full set which should be $56+ on the website but I was charged $72. I still tipped $10. The lady seemed like she was not happy about the tip and didn’t say thank you or anything. It was super awkward walking out the door. Don’t think I’ll return.

Nancy was so great to me on my special day! She was so sweet! She made me feel awesome. I had amother Great Pedicure and my nails she did turned out absolutely Gorgeous. This is definitely my spa place for sure. Cant wait to come back and get another Pedicure and fill in. Thanks to everyone there that made me feel comfortable and loved. Love this place never will go anywhere else!!!! ❤️

I really enjoy coming here for my nails. They are always friendly and willing to assist. I live 30 minutes away and have tried other nail salons but none have come close to Vans. So I keep coming back! Thank you for the great service 😀

My sister and I got full leg waxing and a gel polish manicure, respectively, and we cant wait to bring a friend back for pedicures!My technician was incredible and did a great job - she was both the gentlest with my cuticles Ive ever had and incredibly thorough.My sister said her technician was super friendly, efficient, and thorough. Her legs look great and arent irritated at all!All of the other salon staff we interacted with were super helpful and polite as well, and the spa looked nice and clean. They were mindful about sanitizer, asking people to wash their hands before touching anything, etc! I loved seeing the family pictures posted as well :)Vans is top of my list for nails going forward!

I went here for the first time this past weekend instead of going to my normal place. Extremely happy with how my nails turned out! I got an acrylic full set and Jade did an amazing job making my nails look how they usually do when I get them done!

UPDATE- 6/1/23- The owner reached out and invited me to come back to fix my nails. This experience was much better. I am updating my rating from 2 stars to 5. ******************************************************************************************************************************The experience here was just ok. I was made to wait 35 min even with an appointment. A $51 dipped nail color on natural nails doesnt include a manicure?!?! She cut my nails shorter than i asked her too. I also asked for white nails, which they were, until she added the top coat and they turned yellow. The tech argued that it was just the lighting despite showing her them compared to something that was really white. Im less than 5 days out since my appointment and 2 of my nails have already chipped. I wont be returning.

Van is amazing! I love getting my lashes fill in by her. She’s friendly, caring, keeps the conversation going if you’re in for it. Or she’ll let you relax while you get your lashes done. Hands down, she’s the best!

I had my nails done at a different salon in the same area and did NOT like it at all. It was just a basic French tip acrylics, but it was a hot mess. Thickness, uneven nail shape, textured/rough nail polish. I was in desperation to get it fix but praying at a much more experienced and better. I called Van and the lady with glasses squeezed me. Pretty sure shes the owner! And she did a fabulous job! I wished I ask her name because I will be coming back to her. She re-did everything!!! Shaping, polish even cleaning my cuticles and for such a reasonable price point. Shes so experienced, kind and talented! Ive finally found my go to nail artist!

Vans is amazing, my friend and I have been going to this salon for a few months now and the service is always great! All of the staff is professional and does a great job. I have gotten manicures, pedicures, facials and eyelash extensions at this salon and have never been disappointed. Van the owner did my dip powder ombre nails in the photo and they look amazing. Van has also stayed late to get me in for an eyelash appointment when my schedule was to crazy to do any other time. The customer service is top notch at this salon, I cant say enough good things about it!

Honestly I will not being going back. For the price they charge , the quality is not it!!! I got a short full set w French today and it was around $75 and the acrylic is thick and uneven as well as the paint. They seemed like they were in a rush and didn’t care how it looked, just wanting to move on to the next client.

I recently moved to the area and was in search of a new nail salon. A quick Google search brought me to Van’s. The online scheduling feature on their website was convenient and very easy to use. I went in yesterday afternoon for a fill and thought the nail tech did a wonderful job. I appreciate how diligent and particular he was - he really took his time on my nails and the final result looked amazing. The salon itself is so clean and beautiful. Overall a great experience from start to finish. I will definitely be back!

Consistently great service! I’ve been coming here for over 2 years now and I have now had a bad experience.

The first time I went it was awesome, this time not so much. The girl that did my nails didnt care what I wanted, was rough and did a horrible job. They were lopsided, uneven and she clearly didnt care what they looked like. Very disappointed.

Jade is…..Always professional. Happy to share her expertise. Strives do customer satisfaction . Always a pleasant experience.

I got a gel mani on 9/23 and last night I noticed the gel was already lifting off my nails. Tonight (4 days later) my gel polish has chopped of my thumb nail. So, disappointing, I expect gel polish to last longer.

Came in with a friend 30 min before close, they got us in immediately and did a great job! They were super accommodating and friendly. The shop is gorgeous and clean! Relaxing music was playing and not a TV in sight! Thanks again! Will be back again for sure!

So when I went they were super busy! They werent social distancing, however masks were worn. Now I asked for a simple design on acrylics but they dosnt even apply the bases straight! I had to file it to the right shape when I got home and the nail art wasnt that good. To make it worse they cut my cuticles so short they MADE ME BLEED. It was not worth the 60 dollars.

Went in the day before my wedding with my bridesmaids. They are very flexible and patient and really care that you get what you want. All our nails looked amazing (and still do). The work that they do is amazing and Van is so sweet and talented. My left pinky nail is basically non existent and Van was the first nail technician I’ve been to who was willing to put an acrylic nail on there. I am self conscious of it in pictures and this was the first time I was able to show off. See steering wheel photo for proof!

This is my monthly go to nail salon and it never disappoints. They really do care about their customers.

I unfortunately did not have a good experience, and it was my first time there. Pictured are my nails the day after getting them done. I had to drive all the way back, and no one apologized or acknowledged the inconvenience. After having gel re-done, it still continued to chip 🙃.

I went my first time today and it was a beautiful, clean salon. I love how my almond shaped nails turned out and the color too. Everyone at the salon was friendly and I even received a Christmas gift!!! I’ve never had that happen before. Will definitely go back!

Van did an outstanding job on my eyelash extensions! So beautiful and natural looking! Superb service with perfection! I love them!Telia gave me an amazing facial and upper body massage. My skin is so soft and silky. The massage was so relaxing and wonderful.

They were very busy but still get us in for my moms birthday. I also think Wendy is the one that gave me the ice dancer pedicure and she did an amazing job and she really took her time massage you could tell that she really knew what she was doing and didnt rush even tho they were busy. It was amazing experience and is what I really needed. Thank you

Ive been coming here for the better part of 3 years. Ive tried other places in that time for convenience after work, but I always come back to Vans to have them fix the other places mistakes. Its the most consistent and they really take care of my nails.

It was very nice here! I do have a complaint, barely anyone was wearing a mask, and the person doing the nails was rude. When she did my nails (I got gel) she mixed up my colors with my moms, and when she got done there was little things of hair. But this place was cool!

Was super disappointed when I went to pay! The lady said oh I do this for you and I love my nails but not at $90 what a joke 😔 then the lady who did them was upset because she felt like I needed to pay more, I only wanted rhinestones on my middle finger and them shortened (and now will have to go to another place to get them shortened since they are too long for me) but she said this was the look and I wanted squared ovals not coffins.. I thought the customer chose, guess not.

I was excited to try this place and left semi disappointed. Everyone was nice for the most part! The only time I didn’t feel fully comfortable was when my nail tech seemed to be pointing out that my finger nail was slightly crooked, but she wasn’t pointing it out to me. She had another nail tech look at it and they laughed about it. They wouldn’t have known this so it’s not their fault, but I was having a really hard day today and that made me feel a little insecure and awkward but it wasn’t a big deal. As a fellow beauty professional I just think it’s important to be mindful of things like that because you never know what somebody’s dealing with and you have the potential to make or break somebody’s day. As far as my nails, the acrylic was applied thin on some nails and extremely thick on one or two others. None of the nails really have that apex they need. My natural nail was also filed down to the nail bed in order to make my nails narrower which wasn’t necessary. It hurt a lot and she kept filing my natural nails narrower and narrower. Not everyone has a narrow nail bed and that’s okay, nails need to be done to fit the clients natural nail so you don’t injure people. I accidentally involuntarily reacted to it and she didn’t make the same mistake on the other hand so I’m sure she didn’t realize and felt bad after it happened. All my nails were filed weird so one side was a sharp square and one side was more squoval. It cost $100 which is honestly affordable for a full set, I’ve paid $300+ for my nails in the past and it’s 100% worth the money if they turn out right. With a basic medium length, single color, square nail, they shouldn’t have turned out the way they did and I’m really disappointed especially after having this salon recommended to me a few times. Other than my actual nails, they were quick and the salon was beautiful and clean. A very mixed experience for me.

I love this salon but today was less than pleasant. I was so excited for my appointment today as I was getting my wedding nails, nothing fancy, very simple red dip. I was bleeding when I left, on two nails. When I brought up the first one, I was told I needed to relax, my comment back was I wasnt relaxed because she had cut me before and I was a bit worried as this was for my wedding and the last time it took me almost two weeks to heal fully, to that there was no comment (mind you I really love her work and thats why I went back but today was worse due to the response and timing). I was so sad when I left, maybe she was having a bad day but I just couldnt believe there was no response since I have been there multiple times and always tip well even when she cut me the last time. I really feel I am going to have to find another salon and that makes me really sad because I really loved this salon

Recently redecorated - so beautiful and great atmosphere. This place is very relaxing and they make a big effort to make everyone happy who walks in the door. Highly recommend.

I went to Van’s for first time ever, and also after not getting my nails done for over 5 years. I had high hopes since hearing great things from friends. And reading pretty good reviews. I felt my set was very rushed. Which is semi understandable considering my tech left immediately after finishing my nails. Some of my edges are very sharp & some of my nails are crooked. I am not super upset with the work that was done, since it’s better than what I’ve had done, and better than what I can do myself. However, I would’ve preferred to have more effort put into them. it was also hard to hear the nail tech since it was quite loud in there. I was asked a question and I answered to what I thought was asked. I was laughed at by my tech and the one next to mine. I felt I was being treated worse than others since I had mentioned I hadn’t gotten my nails done in a long time, & I was partially clueless. Overall, my experience was just okay. I will definitely come back more prepared. But my friends that were with me had wonderful work done.

Jade did such a great job!! I asked for nails to match my bag and they delivered♡ Shes always kind and remembers me! She puts so much care and will try to match whatever crazy idea I come in with !

My first experience here was great. Had a pedicure and a manicure. Great color choices ❤️ The staff was polite, respectful and did a fantastic job on my nails. I will go back again. 🙂

I’m from out of town, so this was my only visit. They did an amazing job on my dipping powder manicure! The lady was patient with my requests and took her time to do a quality job. She made sure they were buffed down thin and not too gloopy (technical term). Before tax and tip, I paid $45 for the dip. (Don’t mind my cuticles. They’re always a mess, and she made them look MUCH better than before.)

The most amazingly beautiful nails for my sons wedding! So many compliments!

I have. Been getting my nails for a long time In different salons. Vans salon Is the best salon Ive been too. And the people are so Nice. I took a picture Of how I wanted my nails and after she was done they looked better than the Picture. If you go there You wont be Disappointed.

Loved my experience there! Very professional site and nice staff. They did such a perfect job with my nails, I had gel manicure. Been 5 days and they still look brand new, not a sole imperfection. It was my first time there and I will be back again, they have gained a new customer!

Nails are still looking great three weeks later! Got a smoothing pedicure and the team was timely about starting my appointment despite being very busy with customers. So many color options to choose from on even the basic colors.

Nancy was amazing! She was so friendly and considerate. She got me something to drink upon arrival and set my massage chair. My comfort was her priority and it showed. She did a great job shaping and painting my nails. Her massage was incredible! I am on my feet all day everyday for a living and my feet always ache but I left there pain free and still feeling great. We will definitely be back to Vans

I have been going to Vans for awhile now. Before covid, I was a regular. Nowadays, getting my nails done is a treat. I was unimpressed, and honestly sad with how my nails lasted. I got tips with the dipping powder, all looked well. The next day, I am out of town and one tip breaks. By day three, all of my nails are ruined. Cheap. Tacky. I am disappointed.

Excellent customer service. The lady who did my pedicure & manicure was super patience. The results is beautiful 😍 totally recommend this place.

Great quality and selection of colors and services. Unfortunately, they cannot keep an appointment time. If youre booking in advance because you have a schedule to keep, skip this place. If you have time to wait and dont mind 20-40 minute delays, give this place a try.

I have been a customer of Van Nails- and Van directly for over 4 years. I was one of her first customers when she opened up her shop in 2018, and booked a new set with her every 3 weeks since then. I continually tipped 20%, brought new customers, and left good reviews to support not only a female business owner, but someone I considered a friend. My experience yesterday was far from my usual when the owner Van became irate due to a miscommunication regarding a nail set she was was completing on me. She then began to raise her voice and spoke condescendingly towards me in a full salon of 20 to 30 people, even when I asked if she could speak in a calmer tone. When she finished my nails, I again asked to have a conversation to diffuse the situation, where she became irate again. I still paid in full and tipped 20%, regardless of her lack of professionalism. Please consider this review if you are looking to get your nails done here. If I was treated this way by the owner, as a long time customer, I can not imagine how new customers would be treated in this establishment.

I truly enjoyed my pedicure. I cannot remember her name but she did an amazing job. She took her time, gave a great massage and my toes looked amazing.I have had my nails done twice there and both times my acrylics have come off after a week of wearing them. I have never experienced this at a nail salon before. I am truly disappointed in both experiences as I really like the salon. I may go back for a pedicure but not for nail services.

I came in as a walk in with 2 of my friends. We asked for 1 manicure and 2 sets of gel extensions. What we received was 2 manicures and 1 set of acrylics. The first technician sat down and began working on my hands and when i said i asked for gel extension she got up abd started working on my friend but didnt explain anything to me.Both manicures had issues including the polish chipping off after one day and the nails not being filed properly so the6 were very sharp. The acrylics were placed at an upwards angle and when I got the acrylics taken off it took over an hour at another salon because of how thick they were.The salon itself is very nice and clean. The staff was friendly, but it didnt seem like they were listening when we asked for the services and there wasnt a lot of communication.

1 week and 2 days after my gel manicure. My gel is already chipped in multiple places and peeling up.. I’ve been to multiple other places and my gel always lasts at least 3 weeks! Not sure I will be back.

As this salon was very clean and put together, my nails not so much. My usual nail lady was on a month vacation so I figured I’d try this place out. I left the nail salon with cuts all over my cuticles, every single finger. It was painful to even wash my hands. She was DIGGING into my cuticles over and over again.Now, it’s been 2 weeks and all my nails are cracked.With my normal girl, I can go up to 4 weeks with my dip powder.This lesson taught me to never cheat on your nail lady again.

First time coming here and won’t be my last! The establishment is very clean, relaxing, and decorated cutely for Christmas. My nail tech, Joey Le was AWESOME! She’s such a sweet lady and even showed me different color swatches on my nails to see which one I liked better. I felt totally relaxed the entire time and was well taken care of. My basic acrylic set was $65 plus tip, which is a bit steep but I would give my business to Joey again! :)

I called at 2:00 and got an appt at 3:00. Really appreciated them getting me in so quick. I award happy with Trisha. She did a great job and I will be going back.

Overpriced - while the online price may look ok they up charge everything from an additional charge to shape a nail to a charge to remove polish they put on last time. The price they charged for an acrylic set with one color on all the nails was more than another local nail place charged me to have my dip polish removed, a set put on, shaped, an ombré dip and hand painted designs. Save your money and go elsewhere.

I’m extremely unhappy with my visit for a few reasons. First there were 2 other girls in front of me and I was still looking through colors and there was a guy technican he saw the 2 other girls stand up and he walked away but when I did he came running. And was far too eager to get to work on my feet. Creepy needless to say. , then it took far longer than it should have, I know this because I had the exact pedicure done there last year for my anniversary and it was a women last time. Then it came time to do my fill on my fingers , I booked it as a regular acrylic ( not gel acrylic) powder fill and there are gaps on the bottom between my nail bed and where he ended the nail fills. The color over all nails is at least 2 shades lighter than the sample nail I picked and he used white polish under on my toes. Now I’m going to have to pay even more money to go elsewhere to have them redone the way I asked for to begin with. Then I saw the charge go through my bank and it’s more than I should have been charged, their website has the prices listed at icedancer pedi $56 and regular acrylic fill $ 36.00. Now I don’t what where they extra charges came from , however if by chance it was a gel color I chose I wasn’t told and shouldn’t have been charged for that. I was charged $ 71 for the icedancer pedicure and $55 for the acrylic fill ( which I believe he did not perform but instead did a gel fill which is more). I am owed at least 40.00 minimum back for the over charging. But I sincerely doubt I’ll hear anything about this nor any refund for poor quality of services received and I never should have tipped him anything at all. I thought I hit the 10% tip button and it showed up at 20% (26.00) I have never tipped anyone that much ever. I’m not sure what happened but I’m never going back there again.

Scheduled 2 pedicures for 12pm. Was told it would be 15 minutes. Then 15 minutes later they come over and ask my friend and I can be separate... we said we would like to catch up while we are getting the service done. 12:25 they sit us in chairs and start working on my friend. 12:35 I got up and decided they didnt deserve my business.

Painful, not what i asked for. The nails that i got were crooked upwards. They didn’t cut the nails or cuticals making them look spaced out from my actual nail. They look horrible. very disappointed

They have all sorts of technicians and who all have different skill sets - my first time going I was placed with jade who understood the shape and style I needed - the receptionist there was also very helpful and is quite fluent in both languages - the atmosphere is very very clean , positive - I felt relaxed 😎 technique and quality are hard to find these days when you visit walk in based nail shops

The Fire Walker pedicure is the single best experience I have had. 30 min of targeted massage. The staff were so warm and never made it feel rushed. Excellent expierence.

I didn’t like it very much, I got a French manicure, but it’s very bad, crooked, different lines, they didn’t remove the cuticle, they really sawed my nail and they hurt a lot, I told them to return the money, I didn’t like this horror, offered to remake, of course, much better, but I will not come back here😞

Summary: bad quality, bleeding cuticles, unplesant, not worth the price.This was our 3rd time coming here, this time for my daughters wedding nails. We were very disappointed with the quality for the cost of the services. For our fire-pedicure we were given hot towels(the towels were yellow, ratty and scratchy), that once cooled, due to the winter breeze coming in, made our feet/legs really cold and we repeatedly asked for them to be taken off but were ignored even as we started shivering (not pleasant or relaxing at all!). Now for the full set manicures done for me and my daughter; mine were fine in the salon but after 1 hr the lacquer slid off while I cooked dinner. This happened last time as well and is unacceptable and I expect such nails to last at least one week. Lastly, my daughters nails were done lumpy and crooked and it was obvious from several feet away. During the manicure the manicurist was rough and repeatedly injured my daughters cuticles after several requests to be gentler and caused 5 raw cuticles and 2 bleeds including her ring finger! The only reason I didnt give one star is because the owner stayed in the salon for one hour after closing to completely re-do my daughters nails. I dont recommend pedicures here and if you do get a manicure, only with the owner Van. No one else was competent.

When I first walked in I didn’t notice that the sign said they were closed so I peeked inside and Benjamin welcomed me with open arms. I believe the woman that did my nails was named Michelle. She was amazing! The amount of professionalism in their nail shop was through the roof! They even interacted with my two-year old as well! The whole time Michelle told me to make sure that my expectations were met so that she can make any changes if needed and she was so nice and friendly! I even met Van herself, and she was so nice and polite! I WILL be coming back here for all of my beauty needs, thanks so much!!

Based on the other reviews I read here on Google, I visited this salon yesterday. I had a manicure (gel), pedicure and brow wax. Wow! What wonderful service. Vin (sic) did my manicure and pedicure and he was outstanding and very pleasant. He took his time and did a great job.I regret that I can’t recall the name of my brow technician, but she was sweet, pleasant, skilled and followed my exact instructions!I also met Van (owner and manager) and she is delightful. The environment is peaceful, beautiful and relaxing. They make you feel welcomed and are committed to outstanding customer service. You will never regret choosing this salon!

We booked the appointment for three people and it was so relaxing. The pedicure and manicure was wonderful and well worth the money. The hot wax on your feet was just simply devine! All of the lotions and scrubs smelled so good. The salon was clean and had so many options for colors and choices. Kannie did my manicure and pedicure. She was very professional and I would definitely request her for a future appointment! She has so much personality and did a great job! We will be back next month!

First Time getting acrylics and I was not disappointed, the staff is super friendly and will make sure you love your nails before you leave!

Vin took care of me today and did a phenomenal job on my fingernails. :) He made me aware that I picked color changing nail polish and took the time to show me what colors they changed to. He even swapped one color out that didnt mesh well with my fall themed nails. Although he had to keep helping those that walked in, he was apologetic and was attentive to me. The salon was very clean, relaxing and had enough nail technicians for each one of my sisters and mom to get all done at the same time like we reserved. Van was also super sweet and she gave my sister a next time discount card for her birthday. Will definitely go back!

This was my first visit to Vans. I recently moved to the area and need to find a new nail salon. I booked a pedicure over the phone. It was easy to book and they were very friendly. The place is very clean and they were ready for me right when I arrived. Unfortunately it was the worst pedicure I have ever gotten. The nail technician didnt trim my cuticles or file my nails, the polish was super uneven and I ended up getting polish all over my toes and cuticles. After I paid, I did end up saying something to the manager. She was very kind and had the technician try to fix it. Even after they removed the excess polish, Id say it was a 3.5 star pedicure and it was very expensive. I was disappointed because Vans gets such good reviews.

My husband and I came into your salon for Pedicures. Upon arrival we were treated with the utmost respect. The ladies performing both of our pedicures were professional and very nice! We are both in the customer service industry and know how important it is to not only be treated amazing, but to always treat with respect! Your establishment was very clean. I had a fabulous and very relaxing pedicure with Tila today. My toes look awesome and the calf massage was wonderful. I’ve had pedicures from several technicians at Van’s over the years and they are all wonderful to work with and do a great job. Salon is always clean and has a relaxing atmosphere.

Everyone here was great. The staff were all having a good time WITH their clients. Very professional and the atmosphere is super relaxing and calming while still being open to some fun. Also love being able to book online, a huge win for me. My new nail place for sure. Be aware they have a self check-in station when you get there and it is for appointments AND walk-ins. Whenever I come here. I feel at home. Van and the girls are all professional and lovely people. They really take care of you. Van takes such special care of me! I can have pink and white nails every time and they turn out beautiful. I love my pedicures - awesome nails and wonderful foot massages. I also treated myself with lash extensions and I love my new eyelashes. Van did an amazing job. Fuller, thicker lashes and they look so natural and pretty. Less time to do makeup and no more clumpy mascara. Always great quality for every service in a relaxing, clean and pampering environment!

I always enjoy going to Van’s! They have a very profession, clean, and relaxing vibe. I’ve always had great nail technicians every time I have gone and my nails always turn out beautiful. They are on the more expensive side of other nail salons I have gone too. It was $42 for a basic gel manicure when other places I find is around $35.

We came in with 3 little children on a busy Friday afternoon, and the wonderful people at Van’s were not only totally fine with the kids being around, but they were sweet and talkative towards them. All the kids got nails done, and the technicians had such patience with them. Will definitely come back again!

I love it here! I have always hesitated to go to nail salons as I have asthma and it can become difficult for me to breathe. However @ Van’s the ventilation is excellent and it’s not been a problem.Additionally, the staff are very friendly, proficient at their craft, and respectful if you say “no” to an offer for additional services, products, etc. I really appreciate that as I don’t like feeling pressured to do anything!One more thing - the place is kept spotlessly clean, and there’s always beautiful, relaxing music playing.I highly recommend this special place.

Sherry did a great job shaping my nails and helping to find a color I liked. They always try to accommodate customers. My least favorite part are the customers who walk in 15 minutes before closing, or have a loud conversation on their phone. Please be considerate, because the staff take good care of you.

Vans is absolutely AMAZING! I went there with 6 girls to get pedicures and manicures done for my wedding and they went ABOVE AND BEYOND! Not only did they bring a table over for our snacks and drinks but they let us pick the music to play in the salon! We had an appointment and they were ready to go when we got there and we didnt have to wait at all. They did an amazing job on everyones nails and pedicures. Being the Bride, they had the owner do my nails and pedicure and she did an absolutely amazing job. She wanted my nails to be perfect and they really are the BEST nails I had ever had! My pedicure was super relaxing and the foot massage and wax was amazing. They made me feel like a princess. I will be a customer for LIFE!

The first technician wasn’t so friendly when I described what I wanted then she asked if I wanted dip powder? I responded no and she got an attitude saying it cost the same. She called someone over to see if they can do what I asked. I found out after sitting with the new technician she was the owners wife and she was so pleasant to work with. She took her time and did an amazing job. She listened to what I wanted. Another person came and did the marble like design. She did a great job. I wasn’t sure how I would feel in the beginning but I walked out extremely satisfied. Thank you Van!

I am so sad that they are not in Arizona! This is by far one of the best nail salons Ive ever been to, out of the 25 years Ive been getting my nails done. They were able to take me at the last minute, the location is very convenient, the salon is gorgeous and clean and the customer service is impeccable! Im still trying to think of ways I can get Van and Eric to move to Arizona. Van did an ombre design on my nails using dipping powder and she did a perfect job! I mean perfect! They are so professional and personal, the entire staff is very warm! Speaking of warm, theres a beautiful fire place when you walk in, feels like home! Did I mention all their product is natural and they Never reuse tools? This place is amazing! I will always and only come see Van and Eric when I visit Minnesota!

I’ve been going to Vans for a few years now with my family. I used to adore them but lately they have really not been on time with scheduling. The past two days I’ve called ahead, and both times I’ve gotten there they told me they can’t take me. The times before that I’ve made appointments and have waited 20-30 minutes to get in. They do great work! But I wouldn’t recommend going here if you’re in a time crunch, even if you have an appointment.

I decided to treat myself to a mani/pedi this past weekend. It was my first time at Vans and I absolutely loved it. I walked in without an appointment and they took me in right away with happy welcoming greetings. Michelle helped me get seated and my feet soaking right away, making sure the water temp was perfect for me and even bringing me the basket of gel color swatches. Michelle is awesome! Shes very kind and easy to talk to and she pays great attention to detail. All of the staff that I met at Vans that day were so nice and caring. I told them my birthday is at the end of this month and they said the next time I come in this month, when I check in they will give me $10 off for my birthday!! I think is definitely my nail spot. I will for sure be going back again this summer!!!

3/1/22. Update….this weekend I went in for a pedicure. When I checked in I had a $10 off reward that came up. I asked the young man about it and he confirmed it was $10 off. When I checked out they would only give me $5 off. The owner came up and I told her it was $10. She said “I don’t think so”. I won’t be back. I will find another salon in Maple Grove that values a returning and loyal client.Great salon, clean, love their products, always friendly. The nail technician I see does not grind my nails down and I appreciate that as I have had other technicians grind down so far my nails were very thin and unhealthy.

Edit to say I am still a loyal customer after 6 months! Truly the best nail spa in the area! Do yourself a favor and make an appt today (walk ins welcome)I have been going to another nail salon getting subpar work thinking it was good . I had a broken nail and chipping gel polish after only a week so I called and they could not get me in. I look up Van’s nails and called. She got me right in and also fixed the atrocious nails that I had . She did such a great job, great selection of colors and service, not to mention how clean her shop is ! Just beautiful. Prices are fair and they are so friendly. I am so glad I came here and will be coming here for as long As I live in the area! I did read some bad reviews but I don’t see how . Definitely recommend Vans!

I stopped in to Vans as a walk-in today, for a gel manicure and pedicure. I had Tammy and Tila. Both of them were FANTASTIC, friendly, warm, and with great attention to detail. The owner was very attentive and suggested I try dipped instead of gel for my manicure. So happy with it. I highly recommend Vans Nails and Spa. I will definitely be back to try their facial services, too.

She is kind, professional, and does a great job❤️She can tend to the needs of a 54 year old and my 17 year old daughter and we are both very satisfied.As a cosmetologist myself, I can appreciate all of the things they do that state board requires to keep us all safe! I’ve known Van for over 15 years and have not found anyone comparable to her! I am extremely picky about my nails and she has the patience to put up with me! (I don’t know how she does it). Vans spa is the cleanest I’ve see and has a very relaxing ambience. Not to mention the rest of her staff are just as amazing as she is! Highly recommended!!

Got a deluxe pedicure with gel polish. I walked in on Wednesday early afternoon and was taken back almost immediately, no long wait. The service was super relaxing and my feet feel and look great. The pedicure tubs are new and clean and from I what I can see are fully disinfected. They used a new file, buffer, and pumice stone for my feet (which they’re supposed too according to state law but many nail salons will reuse). Will return and recommend. Cleanliness is the most important! Keep it up ❤️

Great atmosphere, clean and quality service. My dip powder manicure lasted nearly 5 weeks! I especially like Nora. She is very personable and takes extra time to be sure you are happy with the service.

Nails were pretty nice but they overcharge for EVERYTHING. They wanted to charge me extra money for having not short nails and coffin. They say anything other than short square/circle nails is extra. I’m not going to a place that charges 75 for basic acrylics. On top of that they wanted to charge me 10 extra dollars for a couple pieces of glitter. I can get a manicure and pedicure for that price at other high quality salons.

Mika was absolutely amazing! I’m so happy with my nails. I drove all the way from St. Paul to come here. I’ll be coming back to see Mika in the future.

Have been to Vans for a wedding party event, and everything was wonderful so decided to return. Had less than a great experience. I had called earlier that day, asked for a 6:30pm appointment, and the person on the phone said that would not work, and asked if I could come at 6pm. No big deal. I get there at 6:01pm, my bad one minute late. I waited 40 minutes to be seated at a pedicure chair, and then waited another 10-15 minutes soaking. When already came earlier per the salons request. Its nearly 7 now, and no one had started. Finally someone started on my feet after employees kept disappearing to the back, and staying there for long periods of time.I asked for a Soothing Pedicure - $35, which was supposed to include extra treatment (i.e., longer massage, scrubbing, etc). I got no massage, and just put some lotion in my feet and calves. I would say I have gotten much better pedicures that cost $20. Overall the pedicure was very rushed, because the spa closed at 7pm. It was done very quickly. Definitely not worth the extra money to get the Soothing Pedicure option. The nail technician finished, and told me to wait for my toes to dry, and then she would apply the top coat. She then went all around the store, tidying, and cleaning while I was still there waiting to leave, and anxious to do so because I had been there over 90 minutes for a simple pedicure. I just sat their waiting while she cleaned until she put the top coat on my toes. No one ever apologized for the wait, or offered to do anything for the trouble. I still paid $35 for a pedicure that was rushed, and didnt include the extra treatment. Now I do know that Van was not there this evening, and had she of been there, I do not think this would have happened. I thought that the technician did a good job on my toes, and they look good. Just overall a poor experience.

Its been years since having nice nails as Im allergic to acrylics. Theyve come a long way; so many choices. They helped me decide which would be best for my situation. So far love them!

Alice was a delight and superb with my dip nails. She always has great suggestions and I get lots of compliments!

I had a less than stellar experience at another nail salon. When it was time for a fill I chose to try a different salon and found Van’s from google reviews. The reviews are not lying. These ladies are awesome. Tila took my not so great acrylic job and did an amazing fill without having to take them off and start over, which is what I thought I may need when I came in. She took her time with the filing of the previous acrylic and I never felt like she was just trying to get me in and out of the chair, like I’ve experienced at other salons. The final product really speaks to her attention to detail. I also had my brows waxed and they are perfect. She even gave me an amazing little massage after and I walked out with no redness from the wax at all, which was a first for me. From start to finish I felt like they wanted to leave me with a great experience and some great looking nails and brows. Not just give me a quick set and send me on my way. It’s been 9 days and my nails still look great. I will be going back to Tila next week for a fill and a facial. Thank you Van and Tila!

The whole staff was very friendly, professional and helpful. The ambience felt very spa like and I loved the complimentary drinks they give you. My pedicure was very relaxing and I loved that all the products used during my pedicure were all natural. I would definitely go back!

I just went to Van’s for the first time today, and I can confidently say that it was the best experience I’ve had at a nail salon. (I’ve never left a review for a nail salon before, so that’s how you can know that I’m not exaggerating!) My daughter and I had a little spa afternoon here with mani/pedis and our treatments were absolutely wonderful. Everyone was so kind, patient and professional. We had a lovely time and our nails look amazing! We will be back!

I had a gel manicure with Tu and he was so good! Super attentive, very gentle and kept checking to make sure that I was happy with every aspect of my nails. I will definitely be going back to see Tu again!

I have been here a handful of times. It is my favorite! I got the fire walker pedicure with gel polish. It is definitely worth the price. My technician was very good. She spent a lot of time on calf and feet massage. Left very relaxed.

Vans Nails is worth 6 stars!!! I brought in my wedding party and Van closed down the store for me at the end of the day, played my playlist, and allowed me and my family to bring in appetizers to make it a fun pre-wedding event! We had a handful of kids with us and they were very kind, patient, and playful with them. They even offered my nieces gel manicures for only $10, to make sure they lasted through the wedding.This is my new favorite nail salon!!! Very professional, clean, relaxing, excellent customer service, and they do an amazing job on my nails every time I go in!Thank you, Van!!!

Ive visited this shop twice now and both times theyve made me pay for my service before my service was completed. I will not be visiting a third time. Other patrons pay at the end but they discriminate against certain people. I always left great tips despite the terrible service. Its the managers that are the problem, the nail techs were usually nice. But I will not be treated unfairly so Ill never return or make a recommendation.
