I have been visiting In Vogue Salon and Spa for over two years now. I have received several services they offer, and every single one has been a great experience. The salon is clean, and has a very warm “at-home” vibe, and always feels very welcome and inviting. There is tea, coffee and water to drink at your leisure as well.I get my hair done by Kaila Loadwick, and she is nothing short of amazing at what she does. She has cut, dyed and given me many hair treatments, I’ve never had a single complaint. She makes sure to go over exactly what you want out of your appointment, and also consults with you for the best possible results that fit your personal style and face shape. She is amazing at fantasy colors, highlights, cuts, styles….i seriously recommend giving her a shot at your hair! And she’s so nice, fun to talk to.I get deep tissue massages by Justin, and the experience is always amazing. He is very intuitive with spots that may need extra work, and does an amazing job at allowing you to feel comfortable to speak up if something hurts. He took about a year’s worth of pain away in one single session, idk how he did it but I won’t be going to anyone else for massages ever again.I have had eyelash extensions, manicures and pedicures done by Shaina, and she is so good at it! She pays a HUGE attention to detail, checks in with you often to make sure you’re still comfortable, and goes over exactly what you want thoroughly before the service. She seriously has an eye for perfection, and has never failed me!(Everyone here does an amazing job at that!)I 100% recommend this salon to anyone looking to be pampered and feel like they’re at home. The owner Tonya has done a wonderful job at operating such a successful business, I always look forward to seeing everyone when I go. Give it a shot, you won’t be disappointed!

The dark chestnut color is my natural hair (all virgin over 10 years). The beautiful copper Auburn is after a stunning lift (hand painted, so in love) and choosing Auburn as the direction I allowed Kalysha to determine the tone to result in a lovely balayage. I asked for something that complements my pale complexion and she did a fantastic job. She is very personable and easy going. I don’t intend on going anywhere else again. Ladies, gents, those in between and out of bounds, come treat yourself to all your beauty treatment needs. It’s worth every penny. I haven’t tried anything other than hair, but I have high hopes for each offered treatment. I’m so excited. Just do it

My first time at In Vogue Salon & Spa. I found it to be a warm and inviting place. Paige did a wonderful job on my hair. The owner has three dogs, Millie, Marv and Pepper. Such loving little pups. Boxer is the breed, I think. Tonya, the owner was very friendly, as was Elizabeth and Kayla. You won’t be sorry getting beauty services here. I highly recommend checking it out! I’m definitely going to continue with this Salon.

I cant express my complete satisfaction,My hairstylist was Liz, she was amazing, made me feel very comfortable. She was very knowledgeable and helpful, we determined the type of style I wanted and worked very diligently. I am very pleased and happy, definitely will be going there from now on.Thank you, Liz.

Went to get a gel manicure today, it was my first time going to this salon, and the ease of setting up an appointment and checking in was what drew me to it. The girl doing my nails was super sweet and made the time pleasant, however when I got home I noticed she missed a few spots on my nails. And by the end of the night all of my nails peeled off.

I recently was gifted a gift card to use at this business. The gift card specifically stated for wash, cut, style manicure and pedicure. I was able to book an appointment with ease and being that it’s the holidays, I was pleased with how quickly they got me in. The text message reminders were great. Honestly that was probably the best thing about my entire experience. When I arrived at my appointment I was brought right over to have my hair washed. The stylist talked to her coworker the entire time about how much she had to drink the night before. She never checked with me to see if the temperature of the water, which was hardly warm, was okay. She got me into the seat and asked me maybe 2 questions then cut and styled my hair. Although my hair cut was cute, I felt like the process was extremely fast and she never cut it the way she said she was going to. After I was off to get a pedicure and manicure. I liked the lady who provided this service as she was very gentle and knowledgeable. However, my gel manicure started chipping to the point that I took them off only 2 days later. I also asked if the gel manicure cost more and she told me there was a special for the month on the peppermint scrub she used on me so it wouldn’t matter. However at the end of the appointment, I was charged an additional $10. It’s not much, but the gift card said what the services paid for were, which indicates those services were already paid for. I don’t typically leave reviews, but for the amount of money that was spent, gift card or not, I shouldn’t have had my nails peel 2 days later, and I wish my experience was more relaxing. It felt very rushed and unprofessional. It was my first time there and most certainly my last.

Very satisfied, made an appointment for graduation. Booking was easy, and they made sure they knew what I wanted (we texted about options and they gave great suggestions, and we made a plan), Kailie was AMAZING, very knowledgeable and made sure we talked about everything before she cut because I had mentioned having bad experiences in the past. She was very friendly and did an amazing job. She also waxed my eyebrows, and I was really happy with the results. BOOK HER! She’s the best hairdresser I’ve been to in Oswego.

Had a spa pedicure. Shaina has a calm and friendly demeanor and is very easy to talk to. She she did a meticulous job on my nails. Highly recommend her!

Went here for the first time based on recommendations. I was not disappointed. Amanda was my stylist. She listened to my wishes and was able to deliver spot on. I am very happy with the results. Will be returning.

I got a French bob done with Kaila, she’s amazing, listened to what I wanted, and a bonus was the great conversation I had with her. I was so thankful that she knew how to work with my curly hair. If you’re reading this, thank you Kaila! (Forgive me if I’ve spelled your name wrong)

Love this salon! All the employees are super nice and professional. Salon is very pretty and clean! I would recommend to anyone!

My mother and I went here to get pedicures with Pam. She was very friendly and attentive during the 2 hours we were there. This was a much needed break for us, and Pam made it extra relaxing and enjoyable. We will definitely be returning in the future for this and other services with Pam.

I was thoroughly pleased with the service. My hairstylist- Gayle Gibson, was personable, friendly, experienced, and did great work with my hair- after not having it professionally done in over a years time, I felt confident walking out! I would highly recommend In VogueSalon, and I hope to come back soon for future styling and coloring! Thank you again!

Got appointments for my kids for basic trendy short cuts. The stylists we booked with were apparently busy, so a 19 year old took it upon herself to take over. She reportedly took a quick look at photos theyd brought, and went to work. They asked if they wanted a wash, to which they responded yes, but were told that theyd just spray it quick instead. They are both crying now because their hair is so far from what they wanted. This is no better than a bargain center salon, with unskilled inexperienced people with no supervision, only more expensive. Very disappointed. Could have paid half this amount for this level of work.

Recently on my birthday 7/20/21 I went to get eyelash extensions. I was set up for a natural set but when I got there I asked can I get a long hybrid set and she told me that was fine she can do it. I got done and my eyelashes looked the same as I walked in. I have short eyelashes and mines didn’t look no different. I was angry because I paid $165 for my eyes to look the same and it’s 7/24/21 and they are already coming off it’s so bad. I recommend you to not go here and get your eyelash extensions they are over priced. Im from NYC and I would go there and get them done under $80 and Syracuse under $100. So I recommend not to go here for eyelash extensions, any other service maybe I wouldn’t know. Nice people, cute place, but bad service and outcome for what I got done.

Unhappy with my hair and looking for a new stylist, I searched Google for some local salons and decided to call In Vogue for a consultation. I spoke with Ashlee (at least 10 minutes) and ultimately scheduled an appt. with her. When I arrived, I was immediately greeted and waited just a few minutes for Ashlee, who took the time to talk about what I wanted. When I left the salon, the color, trim and style were exactly what I had asked for! I was also impressed with the cleanliness, the atmosphere and friendliness of staff. In my opinion, the salon definitely has a high end look to it with affordable prices. Thank you Ashlee and In Vogue, I couldnt be happier!

The reason I gave it a three star was not on Customer Service, but based on hair coloring and pricing. I asked for highlights with a honey brown tint. What I ended up getting was a pure blonde tint with damage and some brown tint at the ends. I was quoted 75$, but later after I arrived which was not a normal welcoming was quoted at 125$. I later had a friend help me color my hair in perfection and fix the damage without cutting off what was ruined. I was not too excited as I almost cried leaving. This town doesnt have a lot of options for girls like me. When I do take time for myself I dont want to be humiliated or degraded. Hair is hair. If youre licensed learn how to do all types of hair. Money is passed from all shades. I wouldnt recommend any friends or my own child. After realizing other issues from other friends... I soon realized what was done could be fixed.. I had to give it time.

I had Pam for a gel manicure and she did an amazing job. She made sure I was happy and was super friendly. I would definitely recommend her!

I went to get my lashes done. It’s my first time getting it in Oswego. I didn’t have high expectations but I went in knowing it would cost me 2x asynchronous for the service I could’ve gotten in NYC. First my lashes weren’t there. Meaning she put like 10 lashes on my eyes and said my lashes were too short. I’ve been getting my lashes done for a while now and I’ve never had a problem with my sets. It was a natural set but it didn’t look much to me. I guess they do things differently over here. But I learned my lesson, never coming back. Would rather travel to Syracuse or back to the city.

I used a groupon to try out lash extensions for the first time. I work part time as a character performer so I thought getting lash extensions would be a great idea rather than gluing on fake lashes. Ally was my esthetician and she was AMAZING! She was extremely nice and fun to talk to. You want someone fun to talk to when you will be there for a couple hours getting your lashes on :) Anyways... She was so thorough, making sure each individual eye lash was perfect. At the end of it all, they look amazing! You can literally roll out of bed and go to work looking great. Trust me, I did! I highly recommend Ally and this place to try out! I will be coming back! Oh, and did I mention the prices?! Compared to everywhere else I have seen they are seriously the most reasonable for the budget we live on today.Check them out and request Ally!

Pam is the best! She gave me the best manicure. She really took the time to make it perfect and even added cute gem decals. I recommend.

If your hair type is a 3b and above DO NOT I repeat DO NOT come here. The women who did my hair didn’t know how to blow dry It, straighten it, and let me not forget she didn’t know how to cut my ends either!! I left there looking like one of the troll dolls! I had to tell her what to do with my hair; aren’t you supposed to already know? She didn’t put any moisture into my hair so it was very dry. I thought you were supposed to leave a SALON looking good and feeling good about yourself? I didn’t get either. -5 stars out of 5 for me.My hair type is a 4b/c.

Maddison did a great job on my hair. She took her time with my color and consulted a co worker to get a second opinion to be sure it was what I wanted. I will be returning. Great friendly place.

I had an appt with another place. They called me the day of to cancel. My husband got this massage and spa pedicure for me to help with my anxiety because I was going to have a pretty invasive dental procedure tomorrow. Originally they where my first choice but no open appointments. They called the masseuse on his day off and he came in. Amazing customer service. Thank you staff of in vogue

My first haircut since March due to pandemic. I’m a healthcare provider and was super impressed with the salon following safe practices. Clear signage on the porch asking to wait outside for my appt. Hand sanitizer at the entry. Plenty of space between clients. All staff and clients wore face masks that covered both their nose and mouth. No sagging or neck masks here! Stacy, as always, is a terrific stylist. Thank you In Vogue for helping me feel good about my first post-lockdown haircut.

My favorite all time salon EVER. The stylists never failed to give me a fantastic look and exceed my expectations. I also absolutely loved that they offered nearly every service I needed in one great salon. If I still lived in Oswego, I would be using this salon.

I went in for a gel mani and spa pedicure this past Friday. My gel manicure is already peeling off as well as it being a terrible paint job in general. My pedicure had polish all over my cuticles and the French was sloppy. If I could post a picture on here I gladly would. Not worth the money I paid at all. Very disappointed.

I stopped by as a walk-in this morning to have my eyebrows waxed and left with a chunk of eyebrow missing. I dont ever take the time to write poor reviews, but this experience has left me rubbed the wrong way. As she was waxing she made the comment that my eyebrows were very light. I didnt think much of it as I knew my eyebrows werent perfect. After she finished she mentioned that I would need to continue to let me grow in (I had left them grow out after having them done too thin a previous time. At this point they were very over grown and messy) and fill them in for the time being. She held up the hand held mirror for a split second, said they looked much better, and pulled the mirror away before I could grab it to take a look myself. I caught a glimpse of them and again, thought nothing of it. Once I left and got in my car I saw what my eyebrows really looked like. If she had just been up front with me when it happened I wouldnt have minded. I know that my eyebrow will grow back. I even called and spoke with her and she still acted as though she didnt know. I just think that if this if your job, you know when you make a mistake like that. Unless, of course, you are just that careless.In any case, I dont recommend this salon for eyebrow waxing. Or at the very least, do not allow Kathaleen Hargrave to do them for you.

Pam was as fantastic as all the other reviews said. She took care of me and listened to stories of my life to get to know me. She’s super careful, but detailed in what she does.

Monica has done an amazing job with my hair. I have long black hair, she helped me go blonde. They also have wine lol and coffee and water , what more can a girl ask for.

My daughter went to this salon today- October 29th, 2021. You can see the picture of the color the way she wanted her hair and how it turned out. Not even close!!! The front is PINK! $130 later and NOT even close. She should get a refund!

Stacey is person that gets my sons long hair cut right every time. Only place I will take him for a cut. Had my hair done by many of the girls and it was always just right.
