Emmanuel (Manny) has been my go-to guy for awhile now. I always leave a session feeling so much better and relaxed. He also provides me with helpful stretches I can work on for my problem areas. He’s always mindful of using the right amount of pressure every session - I never leave in pain or feeling beat regardless of using medium/ firm pressure. Overall, great technique and super down-to-earth guy.

As an endurance athlete, having regular massages done is crucial for being able to continue pushing my body. I have been treated by different therapists the last few years and all of them have great skills in loosening up those extra tight muscles to aid in my recovery. Signing up for the monthly plan makes sense. It gets you locked in on a greta rate and if you feel the need to add extra session, it’s easy and you pay your membership rate.

Grace was absolutely amazing!! I came to her with some serious tightness in my legs, back, and neck all of which was causing me a lot of discomfort. She knew exactly how to treat these areas and tackled every point in a very therapeutic way. She was professional and very informative. I left feeling much better and with a lot of very helpful information. Thank you so much Grace; I’ll be back soon!

This was my second time visiting this Massage Envy location I love the accessibility of the location. All of the staff is really kind and professional.I really enjoyed my massage, Ben the massage therapist was kind and communicative checking in with me through out to makes sure I was okay with the preassure. I felt like he listened to my areas of concern and focused on tending to my tight shoulders and lower back. I feel relaxed and much lighter today. I would definitely return for another session.

It’s a very clean place BUT as for someone who doesn’t go to regular massages (too expensive) I really was hoping for this to be a treat. There are other spa’s in the same neighborhood for the same price where you can actually relax AND get a great massage and decompress. This is a good place to go if you are looking for a quick fix, but it’s not cheap.A few things to point out…my masseuse did not introduce himself, so I really didn’t know if he really was the guy I booked my appointment with. Then when he instructed me to take off my clothes and lay face down on the cot, as he was walking out he said let me know when you are ready, how was I supposed to let him know? Yell out to him? It’s a massage place for goodness sake, other people are trying to relax, why would I yell out? Other places have used the method of putting a sign at the door or asking me to leave the door ajar. When the massage started, he had cold hands, I’m used to having either warm hands or warm oil, since they don’t have a sauna or a steam room, it’s a little uncomfortable to have the massage without warming your muscles up. I’m also used to having some kind of hydration available where I can help myself both before and after, this place had it if you asked for it.

Stella was amazing. This is my second time coming in but first time seeing her. She made me feel very comfortable and took the time to hear what I needed. She was very informative and honestly a genuine relaxing experience. Her aura was also very calming.

I’ve been searching for the perfect massage therapist for my sciatic and back pain. Grace was amazing. She hit all the right areas and even thought my pain hasn’t completed disappeared I will be going to her from now on for continued treatment. Thanks grace!

I never get massages I’m always afraid the masseuse will hurt me. But this was such a great experience she was so nice I do have a lot of attention I definitely want to come back it’s a little pricey but I guess it’s worth it I recommend Tomili (spell chk pls) of Pasadena S Lake! Thanks

We went to this location for the first time. Even though there was a mistake made on the staff’s part for one of our massages, the owner called within two days and rectified the situation with a credit. He was very kind and apologetic and took action immediately with a phone call and email. The owner also educated the staff to ensure this mistake was not made again.Very professional and courteous staff. I would definitely go there again.Thank you Tim.

Bri always makes me feel relaxed and even through a micro derm abrasion I fall asleep! She makes suggestions on products best for me but is not pushy. Always a great experience with Bri.

Kathleen was so encouraging even though I was 25 minutes late for my session. She did what she could in the time that was left and I really did not feel like I missed time. I was refreshed.

Elizabeth is GREAT! It was my first time with her and she knew exactly where to concentrate her time. An hour usually goes by quickly, but with Elizabeth, I felt like I had purchased an extra hour.

I had a massage with Maria and she was outstanding! Explained what was happening with my muscles, fasciae, and everything she was doing. Super knowledgeable. Great job, Maria!

I always have a great experience at the Massage Envy on South Lake Ave. I recommend Elizabeth and Marielena (sorry if I misspelled)! Each of them gives a healing massage, as well as listen to what I need for that session and adjust the pressure as requested. The front desk is friendly and the atmosphere is comfortable and relaxing.

Valerie was great! Very gentle touch - and i have sensitive skin. I actually was very reluctant to return to ME for a facial based on my experience at a different facility. Thrilled to have found Valerie!Update - Valerie continues to be awesome! Been back for a few more facials and I leave with glowing skin and I feel and look great! Definitely coming back again and again!

Ginger my massage therapist was great. She knows where my pressure point. The front desks are great too. Assisted me on my first visit and experience.

I go to Grace regularly. She always does an amazing job. I really appreciate her knowledge of the body and how to help me with my aches and pains. Highly recommend going to her. I always get a 90 minute with her and sometimes I will get cupping therapy added on too when I really need it.

Manny is one of the most skilled masseuses I’ve ever met! He is detail oriented and genuinely cares about relieving his clients’ tension and discomfort through massage. He’s intelligent, driven, and a true miracle worker with his craft. Massage Envy Pasadena is very fortunate to have him.

I have seen Laura the past few sessions and she is always attentive and does a great job.

Ms Grace (my saving Grace) was undeniably thee absolute best and understanding therapist there. I have had a consistent masseuse for over a year and decided to try a different one due to scheduling changes, I was absolutely amazed. The pressure was perfect. The cupping suggestion was needed. Im struggling to come back from a lower back injury. Ziggy was a HUGE help. I definitely feel like Ziggys work pushed my recovery forward significantly when nothing else seemed to be working.

This was a bad massage experience. So many things were off:1) a good portion, 25-50% of the massage, was one with the sheet over my skin. It wasnt a traditional swedish massage and felt weird to be massaged so much with a sheet over my arm for example vs getting massages with oil and hand to hand contact.2) I had asked her not to massage my feet or head, she forgot until I reremind her when she would start to work on those areas.3) she didnt really massage me. She either lightly and fastly rub me or use her knuckles and elbow to press what felt more random than methodical around my back. It actually hurt, so I asked her to lighten the pressure to avoid injury. I normally love a firm massage and have gone to another massage therapist for years who is know for her firm hands at the other Pasadena Hastings location and never had a problem. But this felt like a bad massage chair experience.4) she stretched me even though this was a massage.5) I woke up more sore than went I went.6) I felt like I was getting a $20 foot massage experience/ stretch vs a swedish massage in the end.Honestly I questioned her training and shared with the front desk my poor experiences. Ive never complained about a massage, and it felt uncomfortable to do so. But after 10 minutes into the massage, I basically wanted to leave because it felt so uncomfortable and obvious that she was not a swedish massage therapist. They offered me an enhancement, but when I said Im disappointed that I didnt get an actual message experience they offered to comp me a half an hour. I appreciate their offer though if I am honest feel still disappointed that I had to pay half for such a wanting massage experience. Its hard, I know the massage therapist was being nice to me, and I appreciate her professionalism there, but didnt enjoy her technique.

I recently had the pleasure of receiving a whole body massage from Linda B. at Massage Envy, Pasadena which was truly a rejuvenating and unforgettable experience. From the moment I walked in, Linda made me feel comfortable and welcomed, guiding me through the process and describing what to expect during the massage. Her professionalism and expertise were evident from the very beginning.The massage itself was simply amazing. Diana is a great massage therapist. She listens to my massage needs and attends to them well. She is my go to therapist.

Marielena is the best massage therapist I have had at Massage Envy. IWill book all my appointments with her. She can do deep & medium tissue with the Perfect mixture of smoothing out pain!

I went in for a 90 minute massage and my masseuse Ben was able to really relieve some is the tension I had in my neck and lower back. I went home feeling relaxed and with less pain.

Leza is a great skin educator. If you’re looking to get the best skin experience while learning about how to care for your skin, she’s your person.

I just had my first facial with Valerie and itbwas one of the best experiences ever! My face was glowing afterwards and I couldnt stop smiling! Valerie explained everything she was going to do and told me all the products she was going to use. She also gave me advice on what to do at home. I totally recommend having Valerie do your facial.

I have been seeing Grace for about a year. She is extremely professional, intuitive, kind, knowledgeable and respectful. It is the healing and relaxation that is much needed as a busy mom. I cannot recommend Grace enough.

I needed to get some massage treatment before I went to film a scene for Cursed Waters.It turned out to be an overnight shoot and had a scene where I had to fall to my death. It took a half dozen takes and if I didnt have the before treatment by Winnie,I wouldve been much worse for wear.

Valerie is the best, she does an amazing facial and is so sweet and patient.

I have never thought to be a member of a massage clinic before but stressful times call for supportive measures. This massage envy is one of the better locations I have ever experienced. I am always able to get an appointment, the assistance at the desk are always very helpful and knowledgeable, and the massage Therapists always do a great job. There is no hassle parking in the complex and you can grab a juice or snack from Trader Joes on your way out. I recently visited with Kate And she created a super orelaxing environment and gave a very effective and soothing massage experience. I know its a privilege to get a massage, but if you can do so, I would highly recommend this location!

I come to this location specifically for my favorite massage therapist. Grace is absolutely wonderful! Every massage I have with her is heavenly. She has a very soothing presence and is fantastic at finding the roots of my aches and pains. I should note the massages Ive had from others here have also been lovely! She was patient and kind, answering all my myriad questions while not ever trying to strong arm or guilt me into a sale for which I was not ready. My massage therapist, Brenda, at ME is, by far, the best therapist! I’ve been going to her for almost 10 years. She is the most knowledgeable and really the only therapist that can do any type of massage from relaxation to true deep tissue. I highly recommend her services!

Marias massage was amazing! She is highly skilled, intuitive, and dedicated to the healing arts. Highly recommend!

Ginger is my favorite she is very sweet and very skilled masseuse. I have some neck and upper arms issues, when I see her she knows what to do and the pain disappears. Had a great experience with Eric. The preasure was very good and he worked on all my painful areas. Quiet and respectful. The room was too cold.

Andrew was 5++. He an excellent masseuse. He asked what areas he should give special attention to and made sure he used the proper pressure. Andrew is wonderful!

I have had fantastic massages which greatly helped with my muscle soreness. Both masseuses that I’ve gone to have been skilled and efficient. Jazmin and Xinning are fantastic at deep tissue massage. I am very tense but come out of each session relaxed and devoid of aches and pain. I highly recommend them both!

Valerie is so sweet, she makes you feel comfortable and cared for during your facial. She will gives you all the details of your facial so that you know exactly what to expect and know why your skin will look so great after her facial.

Cesar is my favorite massage therapist. It takes a while from when you first start for you to find a therapist that you want to stick with and for me thats Cesar. Hes attentive and knows how to get rid of my pain! Hes very knowledgeable about the human anatomy and understands how to zero in on my problem areas.

Diana never fails my body with her massages and elbow digging into my stressed muscles. Thank you for a job well done.

I love this location. Im sad that Im no longer close to it, but every time I know Ill be in the area, I try to book ahead. And I usually only follow through when Adrienne is available. She is just amazing at her craft. Ive never met someone who can be so in tune with what my body needs on each visit. Many problem areas around my shoulders, check. Sciatica acting up, check. Neck stiffness, foot pain, tennis elbow... Check, check, check! I cant recommend Adrienne highly enough!

It was ok, my first time was better. This time the check in process was different and I was not offered the aroma therapy and the masseuse didn’t focus on the areas I asked and rather lotioned me up instead of massaging me, I thought something was going on as she even stopped at one point. I’ll just make sure I don’t get her again, I really like this place and got the membership so will see what happens.

This location has some of the BEST masseuses in any location I’ve visited. If you are looking for a therapist for a problem/issue …..Manny and Grace are the experts. Their techniques for deep tissue are superb. They have magic hands and truly are healers with their hands. If you are in pain or suffering for any injury……these 2 are the BEST in any spa/massage facility in LA that I have experienced. I’d give both of them 10 stars if I could.

Grace is an amazing healer and if you want a high level sports massage, you will not find any better. If I were rich, I would pay her big bucks to be my personal masseuse.

I redeemed a gift certificate to Message Envy and had one of the best messages I’ve ever had from Marielena in Pasadena on Lake. She is so good! And also very knowledgeable about how to treat tension in the upper back and neck. I definitely recommend seeing Marielena if you need bodywork and are seeking healing and an hour of bliss.

I had a one hour massage with Kate. She was able to help me relax while still getting all the tension in my back out. After my massage I saw Maghanda for a facial. She is incredibly knowledgeable and taught me so much about my skin. She also gave me great tips to keep up with my skincare at home. I left both sessions very pleased, both Kate and Maghanda exceeded my expectations!

I really wish I had found Ginger (Xinning) sooner! She is amazing. I have had massage/stretch at many high end spas, and my experience with Ginger was superior. She is deceptively strong and very knowledgeable.

I did a stretch for the first time, and it was more than I expected!! It stretches the obvious areas, and so many little places you don’t even realize you need, and that you can’t do on your own. Definitely recommend Taylor for this! He walks you through every move so you know how he will be touching you and stretching you. Excellent custome care!

The area and staff were very business oriented and I did not feel welcomed and relaxed.I chose medium pressure but it was very light.Lastly it was very expensive, $145 for one hour.

Started off with a consultation with my concerning acne scars on my skin . Melissa recommend a chemical peel . First time experiencing a chemical peel, Melissa explained the process and answered questions .Melissa checked on my tolerance through out the process .Redness was visible after treatment but gradually went away Melissa did her best to keep me comfortable offering water and cooling measures with re assurance my skin would feel amazing after .Thank you for your patience during the experience .Excited to see my results thought out the next few days .
