Come here if you want a quality massage at a very reasonable price. I wouldnt label this as a cheap massage because, while the prices are more affordable than other spas, the masseuses definitely know what theyre doing and youre getting quality work done.For context, I get massages a couple times a year when Im feeling particularly tight in my back and am probably best described as one giant knot. I wuss out and get medium to medium heavy pressure (though I know they can be more intense because there were handlebars installed), but after only an hour, there is a noticeable improvement in how I feel and in my mobility.A Beautiful Day Spa Massage doesnt have an extravagant facility, but they pay attention to things that matter, specifically the cleanliness and relaxing experience for customers. As someone whos very sensitive to smells, I find everything to be the best possible neutral, with some variation when it comes to some of the oils used.When it comes to tipping, there is absolutely no pressure from the staff, nor any passive aggressive suggestions given to you when youre paying. They do have a sign with suggested tip amount available to you, but its within the normal 18-35% range, and its only that high because the base amount is $55.

So serene and calming, my husband and I always left feeling relaxed. The hostess was very patient, kind and responsive with all my questions. The massage therapists are so nice and efficient. Been going for years, even got my parents to go and they love it. I don’t get to go as often as I’d like (ideally weekly!) but definitely will go back when I can!

I have visited this day spa two times and both times the service and treatment exceeded my expectations. The receptionist are very friendly and helpful, and the technicians are highly skilled. I receive massage on a regular basis at luxury spas, the value you receive here is top notch! This is a great place to come for a in and out treatment if you do not have time for the traditional spa experience with amenities and facilities. The technicians work hard and deliver high quality massages. The massage tables are basic but the facility is clean and the staff are genuinely concerned for your comfort. Deep tissue massage for 2 hours only cost $140. I have a $50 tip and still feel I received a great value! I will visit this day spa every time I visit Pasadena!!!

The massage therapists here are amazing!for pressure the options were light-medium-hard-deep tissue (for +10$). we got the deep tissue one and it was the best. i often have to ask for more pressure at other places and today was the first time in LA it felt like a true deep tissue massage. if you’re sensitive, would definitely recommend starting lighter and increasing as needed. place was clean, and staff were very professional.

Service and quality were excellent. They really focused on the areas I indicated on their form for extra attention on my traps and back. The pressure was just as expected when choosing Strong on that same form. The ambiance was peaceful and the masseuses were very professional. The whole experience will have my wife and I coming back as our primary choice in Pasadena.

My husband and I have been coming here since 2017, and it beats every other massage place we’ve been to (in Pasadena and worldwide) hands down for the combination it offers of quality, consistency, and cost.The online booking system is easy to use; the reception staff are always friendly and helpful by phone, on text, and in person; the massage rooms and beds are simple, clean, and comfortable; the quiet music is nice to zone out to; and the massage therapists themselves are skilful and offer a lovely 60-minute signature sequence including ultra-hot stones and optional CBD candle and aromatherapy add-ons. At reception, you fill in a simple form to choose your massage pressure and any areas to focus on or avoid; if you want to include the $10 deep tissue add-on, it’s worth checking with the receptionist whether your therapist is able to offer that.Beautiful Day looks like nothing much from the outside, but the fact that they keep the setting simple is what makes this affordable for us as more than just a rare treat, as so many spa places are. We don’t live in Pasadena or indeed LA at the moment, but we book in whenever we’re passing through—and sometimes make a detour specially! We always come out feeling light and floaty and looking forward to next time.

Ive been getting massages for years and this was without question the best! Front desk service was great, the massage was reasonably priced, all staff were polite and professional and the massage felt really good. She applied the perfect amount of pressure. I felt extremely rested and relaxed after.

The setting leads to a low-stress spa experience. The masseuse hit all the spots I was hoping for and was intuitive in recognizing when certain spots needed more attention. I felt very safe and respected during the experience.

Horrible place, absolutely not recommended. It is narrow, dark, dirty with towels all over the place and a reception person that is clueless. Instead of rooms they have cubicles separated by curtains so there is no sense of privacy or relaxation.I made an appointment for a specific therapist and they didnt assign that person to me. They didnt apologize or offer a solution so I left the place upset and I will not return there. They have lost a customer.

I’ve been coming to Beautiful Day for over a year now. It’s just what I need, a good massage. My go-to person is Zoe, although everyone there is great. They are professional, courteous and friendly. Zoe delivers the perfect level of pressure, she tends to the much-need area if requested. I really feel the stress melts away after each visit. Bonus: their price is super reasonable.

Visited ABD spa for the second time with friends and I am so happy with both experiences. The facility is clean, the therapists and front desk workers are so sweet every time. I didn’t have any issue with “outside noise” as claimed by other reviewers. Just as general tip to other customers: circle light pressure on your sheet if you are sensitive or if it’s your first time, you can always tell the therapists to increase / decrease their pressure. Came here after being very sore in my shoulders and neck. Annie was very gentle and continued to check on me during my session. Then the hot stones! Awesome! Im so glad I found A Beautiful Day. It is now my go-to place. Both Sherry and Cindy were great. I need a therapist who can handle true deep tissue massage. I can feel my knots amd stiffness melt away ajd the relief lasts. If you are looking for a no-frills massage that is a real value, make an appointment at this spa. The prices are reasonable and the masseuses can handle deep tissue. So glad they are local to me as well.

I am not usually inclined to criticize, but I feel obligated to inform potential customers who are considering visiting this massage salon that my experience was unfortunately not up to my expectations.Very quickly, I had doubts about the professional quality of the masseuse. When I tried to find out more about her background, her answers were evasive.I also noticed that the washing machines, located at the end of the hallway, were very close to the cabins, which were separated only by a simple curtain. As a result, the noise from the machines was very audible. Of course, this can be interpreted as a guarantee that the towels and sheets are well washed, but unfortunately, the music playing through the speakers, which was supposed to create a relaxing atmosphere, was unable to mask the noise from the washing machines. In such conditions, it was difficult to relax.I had the opportunity to discuss these problems with one of the salon managers, but her answers did not completely resolve the concerns I had. She apologized that the establishment had not met my expectations, but she also indicated that the washing machines operate all day long, which leaves little room to avoid noise disturbances.Finally, I must note that the toilets did not meet the cleanliness standards that one would hope for. This is regrettable because it is evident that the employees of this salon care about satisfying their customers. Perhaps it was a particularly difficult day, or perhaps there was a matter of karma at play...

My husband and I got a full body massage yesterday. What a great experience. Costumer service was excellent. We were provided with a detailed text message on how to get to the place and where to park. The place was super clean and smelled great. My assigned masseuse( Sofia ) was great. We did not get my husband’s masseuse’s name, but she was amazing as well. Sofia used the perfect amount of pressure, she made sure that I was comfortable throughout the massage, she was quite respectful and friendly. My favorite parts where when she used hot stones over my body and she got rid of the tightness in my calf’s just like I requested. 100% recommended.!!!

Fantastic massages! I have been a regular for 2 years and go every 1-2 months. The rates are incredible, inclusive of hot stone therapy, and the mass use utilizes different techniques (Tua Na, Swedish, Deep Tissue). I also appreciate that before your massage you are presented with a diagram of the human body and your are able to circle areas for the massuse to avoid and 2 areas you want extra attention. The extra level of catering to ones needs makes this my go to place for a high quality massage

Love Beautiful Day Spa! Have yet to have a bad experience there. Went with my mom aunt and best friend Shelley was my girl and she know just what to do. Mom had her usual girl Tina I believe and my friend had Wendy, not sure who my aunt had but everyone left there RELAXED. Aunt was a first time goer but says she will be back and will make sure to get the same girl so she did a good job (aunty is a little particular.) Went for Mexican around the corner which just made the massage even more relaying. Will be booking another appointment for next week!! 🥰

Usually get a good massage here, but it’s happened twice now where I’ve booked a foot reflexology massage and been very clear to clarify that when I came in for the massage. Only 5 minutes spent on feet both times. Unfortunately don’t think I’ll be returning here due to this continued issue.

I’ve been to ABD Spa a few times and every time I think “that was the best massage!” On my most recent visit, Cindy was my massage therapist and she was amazing. I’ve recommended ABD Spa to so many people— one of my clients just told me she’s been going twice a month. It’s a no-frills business and the price is incredibly reasonable. This is the spot!

This place is great. I’ve been going here for several years now. Not as much as I’d like, but consistently since around 2016.You can really get the spa high end type of massage, but for an in between of say a reflexology place. The services are very well priced, and I’ve never had a bad massage here. I have had a few really great massages, which is why I an writing this post.They have an online portal so you can book massages easily, which is great, and the staff, in my experience, has always been super friendly. i.e., as I was heading to my last massage they text me to make sure I was aware they have parking in the back (it’s the little things).I met the owner and his son before COVID, nice folks. The owner does acupuncture upstairs.If you’re trying to get into a regime to heal some long tailed muscular dysfunction, I believe this place is a good affordable option, and as long as you communicate the pressure you like, they try there best to be accommodating, which for a big guy like me (6’3” 230+ lbs) is meaningful value. I’ve gone to Burke Williams as an example and paid $200+ for someone to lightly touch me for an hour, I’ve pad $30 to have my feet and shoulders rubbed at a reflexology place to have the masseuse rubbing my face with the smell of his hand eaten lunch on his hands.I say all that to say, if you’re a first timer, I think you can feel comfortable you will get an enjoyable massage here at great value.

The staff was super friendly and great at communicating, and helped us figure out the kind of tight parking situation.They even asked if we had a gender preference for our massage therapists, which was very nice of them. I was looking for a no frills massage spa that offered an array of services for a cost effective price in my neighborhood and after researching Yelp, I decided to give A Beautiful Day Spa a try. I took a look at their website, which was very easy to use and informative and was able to quickly book a massage appointment online. I was happy because there were a few same day and next day appointments available, which was just what I needed due to an aching back, so I went ahead and booked a 60 min Swedish/ Signature Massage for $55. (Note: theres a $5 discount for this service if you pay in cash.) The price was too good to pass up.The lady at the front desk was very nice and hospitable upon check in. She had me fill out a form indicating the type of pressure I wanted and areas of concern, then took me to my massage room (a curtained area), where I undressed and waited for my massage to begin. The massage beds were warmed and the room was at a comfortable temperature, which made me feel super comfortable and relaxed at bad. I personally cant stand a cold massage room.Yoyo was my masseuse and she was great! She really helped work out my knots and made me feel relaxed. She worked on the areas highlighted on my form and worked in the hot stones (included in the price), and used a nice amount of massage oil. She was strong and used a lot of pressure which my muscles really needed.Keep in mind that this is not a fancy decorated day spa with jacuzzis, steam rooms and the like. I didnt rate for the aesthetics. If fancy is something you are looking for, then this is not the place. But if you need a solid massage or acupuncture, then give this place a try.

Very unpleasant experience. Themassagist did not know what she isdoing. Her strength was too much forme, and she seemed didnt have agood knowledge or understanding ofthe human body as required for amassagist. She kept pressing my wholebody down like a police arresting andpressing me down on the floor, nottruly focus on tissue or acupoints.From the beginning I just wanted tostop. I didn’t even know that this was what I needed. I asked for a firm concentrating on my calves and lower back. It felt almost like a deep tissue massage for a fraction of the price. She worked on my entire back and legs, but did such a great job, I didn’t realize how much my body stored tension until she was easing it away. I’m really particular about my massages, so I don’t rate this lightly, but I will shortly be booking again. Wonderful job

I have been here many of times and purchased many gift certificates for families and friends to come here; but today was an unpleasant visit. First off I woke up to a text this morning stating that I did not put a card on file from Metzli. She wanted me to send my card thru a message. I called the spa 3 times a the person never picked up and said anything. I messaged back stating I put a card on file when I booked it doesn’t let you book without doing so. Also, let put in the message that I tried calling and the lady responded back “I was checking in another guest.” I responded that I felt it was fraud and did not feel comfortable with sending my credit card information again especially thru text when I put it thru on the website with booking. The lady then called me back and stated what she said and I let her know I would not be sending the card thru text. I went and added thru the website yet again and the my charged my card. I then get to the spa 5 mins late it was hard getting parking. Then the lady at the front Cleo was rushing us she said because we were late she could not let us fill out the forms. They ended our hour massages 15mins early and then while getting dressed. The massage therapists went to get the front desk lady Cleo and she comes knocking on the door telling us to hurry she has other people waiting. Then she had the nerve to ask and force us in to giving a tip. She better be lucky my friend is nice cause if it were up to me no tips would have been left. Mind you the last time I visited here a few months ago I was on time for my appointment and had to wait 30 mins past my massage time to be serviced and they didn’t care about that nor did they rush anyone out of the rooms. I’m not tryna make it a race thing but if I had to evaluate the situation I would say that’s what it was. I was the only black person being serviced the last time I came and today we were the only black people and the people waiting were Chinese. I don’t appreciate being treated like I did today and the last time with being serviced late but I never complains because I didn’t mind. However, now I do considering my experience today Cleo & Metzli have left a bad taste in my mouth and I will not be visiting this place again nor will I be recommending anyone here. I will not buy any more gift certificates. Clean up your act and do better and don’t treat people different cause they are black. I work hard for my money just like the other races do and I am spending it with your company so I expect to be treated the same as any other race that walks thru that door!

My gf and I decided to go check out this place after looking for a well reviewed massage place. This place does not disappoint! Amazing communication, easily one of the best massages I have ever had. My gf was so relaxed she fell asleep, I dozed off a few times too. My massage therapist was very experienced she was able to identify every painful spot on my body without me saying a word and able to make me feel wonderful. I cant say enough good things about this establishment!

I experienced an extreme reduction in knee and hip pain after my acupuncture appt (which Ive been experiencing for almost a year). My dad and I were exploring near by areas when we stumbled upon this $40 massage place! It was an amazing massage. The woman who did my massage used the perfect amount of pressure. To top it off, it ended with heated moist towelettes draped on your body. I got a same day appointment online for 1 hour. I later called to request a 2 hour massage the following week. I believe you can even schedule your next appointment at the end of your session.When you first walk in, you are greeted with calming cute animal videos. I love waiting for my massage because of it. I would highly recommend getting a massage here! Great value!

I had a gift certificate here and the experience was mixed. The establishment is clean, booking was easy and efficient, the pricing is reasonable, organized, pleasant and attentive front desk - but the massage was NOT good. The masseuse was polite, but she didnt follow the chart they had me fill out AT ALL, and the entire massage felt like she was just counting repetitions/minutes rather than attempting to work out any actual muscle tension. Towards the end I almost got off the table because it was so NOT relaxing (and she kept burping/farting). HOWEVER I did hear other guests commenting positively, so I think as with many places like this, your experience just depends on who you are booked with. If you have a specific recommendation for technician, that would make all the difference.

I came here two months ago, great service. They put pressure uniformly on your body. They do a good job pressing the back and shoulder, and I felt much better after the massage. Loved this place! I’ve gotten massages and a handful of places and while the ambiance here wasn’t anything spectacular, the massage itself was amazing. For $100, to be 2hr and include hot stones felt like a steal. And the woman I had legit got on the table and was digging into the back/glute, aka exactly what I asked for. I’ll deff be back.

Wendy and Henry did an amazing job doing my mom’s nails!! They took their time and made sure she liked the color!! Cindy did my toes and she kept making sure I liked the trim and color. Best service!

Great place! So happy to have found it! I got a wonderful Deep Tissue/Swedish Massage with hot rocks and lavender aromatherapy from Kelly who has strong hands and great technique! Great prices! I suggest making appt. But you can walk in as well. Quit, small, relaxing Chinese massage spa. I would recommend to anyone who likes traditional eastern ways. Much better than fancy American spas.

This place is busy and for good reason, 4.25 Stars with room to grow.My Honey see’s one of the main guys Tony and Mark consistently, and she is very picky. So go ahead and ask for them. 5 Stars.My person was good, knew her way around but I’m going to give the experience a 3.75 rating. Mostly because it was more a smashing of muscles than a massage.Cleanliness, ease of scheduling, and friendly are part of a 5 star ambiance.I will come back and will bring friends. You should too.

This place is amazing!!! I have gone here about 4-5 times and I love it. I often get tense around my shoulders and upper back and every time I leave from having a massage here, I feel ten times better! I have had both ladies and they excellent! You really cant go wrong especially with the low price!

I have had massages from several of the women here and they are all great. Excellent value as well.

I asked for a full body massage with focus points and areas not to massage. It was completely ignored and the pressure kept changing quite a bit. I asked to have her lighten up but that didnt last very long. I didnt leave feeling refreshed. I would say H&M down the street does a better job but it does cost more.

Had the one hour couples massage. Appt was easy to book and staff was friendly. However the masseuses touching felt inappropriate and uncomfortable at times (there were *personal* parts of his body that had no reason to be touching me, but were repeatedly bumping me). When I brought this to the attention of the staff they didnt apologize but said theyd ask the masseuse about it. When they later resolved the issue with me they did finally apologize and issued a partial refund but also said that the repeated bumping of his genitals against my body was just something that he does because hes not very detail oriented.I mean, its better than nothing; but thats still pretty horrible.

My wife and I brought our 4 month old son with us and forgot to balance our time frame properly. We went at the same time, and well , lets just say baby didnt approve. the lovely girls went out of their way to put baby at ease so that we could finish our treatments. The moral of this small story is the service A Beautiful Day Spa provides to their guest but also the Acupuncture and Message Treatment. I must say its absolutely fantastic.

Tried the swedish massage for the first time and love it. Price is a bit higher than other spa massages I had visit in areas of Los Angeles. Although I enjoyed it, I may not return.

My masseuse was the Hulk. Ive had massages elsewhere, but no one understands what firm is. Here, I actually had a deep tissue massage.
