First time visitor and had a blast. The two for one well drinks were a welcome surprise but the free pool was the standout for myself the friend who came with me. Love a gay bar with a more relaxed dive-y vibe, will definitely be back!

Cozy dive bar with great drink prices. Parking lots too small so you might end up parking on the street. Overall nice atmosphere.

Cute place. Had a drink with a friend and it’s a cute little gayborhood bar. Has darts and a good sized bar. Service was a little slow the night I was there but they were trying so I gave them points for that. I’d come back. Cozy and a local hangout it looks like. Parking is terrible though.

The director at the Friday night pool tournament is an ego maniac with poor boundaries. He claims to be a Jr. Champion, yet has no awards to show for it. Also, if you prove to be a challenge, he enlists the help of his friends to be a distraction to try and create an unfair advantage. I will not be attending this tournament again. If you do choose Oz on a Friday night, might I suggest karaoke or poker? Great place, poor choice for a tournament director.

Awesome bar, chill, karaoke night was a blast and danced while karaokiing... had a blast and the best part Saturday before Halloween so lots of peeps in costumes. Bartender was amazing

The bar owner almost hit me in the face and didnt even realize it. I was sitting at a stool for 10 minutes and the bartender on duty asked some other gentlemen for their drinks and they had just arrived to the bar.Want some basic human courtesy? Dont come here.

The concept seemed nice. But the first time I came with my roommate in the matter of 20 min we both got pet, touched, inappropriate comments made about our bodies and made fun of. Not a comfortable place for women.On another note its nice that they do charity events. And the bartenders themselves seemed very welcoming. But we will not be returning.

Very cozy and quaint little gay bar. We went on a Saturday which had $3 well drinks and $6 call drinks all day. I stick with the well drinks which had a nice quantity of alcohol... Just like I like it. Karaoke started later in the night. Very nice place if you like a small and intimate place to go and have a conversation and drinks. I would definitely come back.

Has the feeling of a creepy dive bar from the early 2000s maybe late 90s. Super laid back takes a while to get a drink. Parking lot is a pain for sure super small and shared with several other businesses

The staff is wonderful the place is really clean theres a patio for those who smoke they have different activities almost every day of the week they have pool tables and dart boards

Sundays through Wednesdays the bartender makes a goddamn good martini. Earned my business as a regular, its a damned shame most places dont know how to serve this most classic of drinks, but Joshua more than earns his keep here as a bartender who knows how to make a great drink. You folks have earned my business several times over.Free pool? Reasonably priced drinks? Regulars with personality? This is a dive with more than a little attitude in the best way. I cant say enough how much I appreciate the exemplary service and welcoming atmosphere. 5 stars is an unusual mark from me, and this most unusual bar has earned that and then some!

Went there with an employee, Lee. We had a blast. It was karaoke. Everyone sang so good. I love this little bar. They had free popcorn. It was awesome. Great drinks, good service. Pool table. Nice people. A must go!

Bartenders were nice and they let us play pool for free, however the drinks were a bit too expensive for a domestic beer, and the patrons can get obnoxiously loud during karaoke. Also, after the dj plays each song, theres an awkward pause before a new one is selected. Nonetheless, my friends and I had a great time.

Went in on a Friday night. Place caters to the locals and didnt pay any attention to someone new entering the bar. Bartender was rude and tried to get into a conversation but acted like I was annoying him. Very poor customer service - you should make new people welcome. Didnt come over and ask how I was doing or ask if I wished to purchase another one. Will NEVER go into that bar again. Bartenders were great socializing with the locals but not someone new.

David and I love this bar we have become family and have made many life long friends, please disregard our last review for we had a run in with a ex employee and we werent treated so well but all that has changed and we are at this establishment almost every night having fun spending time with friends and playing some great poker. this little bar has a big personality and is very comfortable to be at.

Was disappointed that it was a karaoke night on a Friday. Did not love the crowd or ambient. However, I was impressed by those singing since they sang quite well. I also liked the artwork on the walls.

I stepped in this place to wait for my son. Im so glad I did. It is an awesome place. The people made it the best place to wait. It is a place for everyone. I felt so welcome!! So welcome, after I meet with my son I went back to chill and enjoy the company. Im very grateful I did. Straight, gay, transgender, young old all are welcome. I cant wait to go back!!

Awesome bar! Drinks are cheap, events every night, including poker, darts, pool and shows. Friendly staff and super approachable ownership. Stop by and give it a chance - and if you have given it one already, give it a 2nd chance! You wont be disappointed!

Jason, Lee, and carlos are awesome bartenders. Very friendly. I go there for the pool ternaments hosted by Joe on Tuesdays and Thursday. Resently started going there more often to play unlimited free pool. To be honest and with respect the place could use a little make over. But everything else is great.

Even two years later, this place still retains its 5 star rating from me. It one of my all time faves bars in Phoenix. Its the gay Cheers in my opinion. Affordable drinks, free pool and darts, and just an all around good time vibe. Plus, the bartenders are total hotties!?! Lol.

Since the basic cocktail waiter deleted my review on the Facebook page. Last night he was judgemental about my disabled friend and his partner. He decided to not serve my Non disabled friend due to helping his husband out to the patio, around his arms. He thought he was drunk. Non of us were. He decided to become discriminatory and discriminating against disability and after my post became retaliatory. 3 charges. So far. After approaching me about my review in his anger he then asked us to leave. Pretty sad when you wont be working there long.

Great atmosphere, the manager is a great guy & Ill def get word out about this place! However at the moment due to construction next door, there is minimal parking, after the construction it should be back to normal! Do not fret my child, for the future is here!

The bartender at 5:00pm saturday seemed very stressed. Unhappy and creating an unwelcoming atmosphere.. costing the bar more money. I didnt want to stay here. I know its a dive bar and thats OK but most dive bars have some character. When I refused the open tab the bartender smirked rang some one else up first then proceeded with me after.

Definitely the worst gay bar in Phoenix. Service is very bad. Bar is run down. And employees are mean and disrespectful. I will never go back and will tell everyone I know how rude the boy is that works behind the bar. Customer service should be a priority in any service related business. I guess its because I am a woman because he was sure being nice to the guys in giving out free shots to his friends. No wonder I have no friends that go here. OZ is a great neighborhood bar which has great staff and an owner who cares about his customers. There are numerous specials,events, and things to do. An all around fun place that has little to no drama. Bring your friends out for an evening over the rainbow at OZ.

Was referred to this bar for karaoke & have been coming here every week now. Everyone is so nice and welcoming not to mention the fun karaoke with friends. I love it!

As a smoker I dont mind but the smoking patio in the back smell comes into the bar. The staff is very friendly and they have darts and a jukebox that made the night a lot of fun!

I love Friday nights at OZ. The strippers are great looknig guys and quite friendly!! Crazy Corona is a HOOT!! All the boys are delicious. Great drinks, no cover, whats NOT to like?!

This is a really cool dive of a bar where there are some characters who hang out in the place and work in the place. If I am not mistaken this bar used to be located somewhere off of Thomas Road. Maybe they moved. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Nice little place, a good place to go and unwind a little. Any problems I have had there were my own making, and were dealt with graciously by the staff. (BTW, Sorry, Karma..really wasnt myself that night.) Ill be back when I get over my embarrassment.

Perfectly proportioned space. Plenty of room at the bar, plenty of room at tables, and more than enough space on the patio for your friends who are still addicted to cigarettes.

Love going to OZ to play Sunday Bingo. Lots of fun. They have other games they play during week. Fun place to go to and very friendly.
