GREAT DRINKS, FUN ATMOSPHEREI came as a tourist.It was a busy Friday night and packed wall-to-wall most of the evening.Very friendly crowd, all ages and costumes. Drink lines were a bit long and they could have used more bartenders.Drinks were enjoyably stout, and bartenders interacted well.Live music outside in the patio area.I would certainly go back =)

Love this bar. The owner Pat is amazing and so good to The Sisters. We always have a great time here. Nice bartenders, great drinks and decent prices. Love the patio for shows. Also great for larger individuals.

I dont come here often bc Bunkhouse caters to older guys. The never ending oldies music is the first give away, Im here when Charlies gets too packed. However the bartenders here are very quick and service is always good. If Bunkhouse had a more upbeat vibe with stricter jukebox options Id come here before I go to Charlies since its the closest gay bar. Regardless I love Bunkhouse still and will always stop by on weekdays when Im in the area.

It took me over seven years of coming here to come to this revelation: Best LGBT bar in Phoenix, hands down. When you’ve lived in the Phoenix area a while, you want the “Underdog” to succeed, and it’s Pat O’s Bunkhouse Saloon. Sure, it’s a little less “new looking” than some of the other bars, but it’s been recently renovated and you also can’t beat the atmosphere here. The bartender team of Diego, Acxell, and Alex (+others) are amazing and make you feel like family here. Highly recommend this place.

Friendly outgoing and attentive staff and owner. Owner sits and visits with patrons. Great entertainment! Establishment and staff are vital contributors to the local community via numerous fundraising events and support the local sports leagues. Just an over all greY place to hang out with friends and or make New ones.

The bartenders here are super friendly and take good care of their customers. Axle is a hottie and a gentleman. Michael made sure that I was well taken care of. I have come back over a couple days and had a good experience both times. They also know how to pour strong drinks. If you are looking for a good relaxing time, and strong drinks come here. I will be back again if at all possible.

Good inexpensive drinks. However it caters to the gay community, which I am not a part of so I felt out of place. The place could have been cleaner. But it had a lot to do with arcade games,pool tables, darts and a good sound system.

To the owner, I dont think your employees are always as professional and pleasant when you are not around. I saw examples of rudeness from three of your employees on a Saturday afternoon. Bars are a fickle business, sometimes a popular spot can seem to dry up for no identifiable reason. Your staff, including manager, could feel invincible while things are good. They could get careless with the customers. And, although your employees may have to deal with the occasional customer with attitude, a customer should never have to deal with your employees bad attitude. Keep in mind employees dont have the investment in all the areas of your businesss success as you do.

I came here for the the first time and I was not disappointed. They have a huge selection of beers and amazing food. I also like the atmosphere of the bar along with all the TVs. The service was great too. I honestly can not think of one down side. I will definitely be coming back soon.

Phoenix doesnt really have an official Bear bar but Pat Os Bunkhouse and Nutowne Saloon are as close as it gets. My favorite part about this bar is that it has live jazz music from queer men with a piano a saxophone a drummer and a bass with rotating singers . It starts at 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Sundays, every Sunday. Come enjoy some jazz! Its a very chill place. In general, they keep the volume of their music loud so you can enjoy the experience without blowing out your ears which is nice, but you could still dance if you want to. This place can get a little risque. But if you come anytime during the day its just a very chill gay neighborhood bar. It has Wi-Fi and it is the perfect place to go and study or just have a quick beer during the day to relax maybe during a lunch hour. The crowd does tend to be a little bit older so there isnt as much young bears and cubs but it is still a good place to hang. Karaoke on Wednesdays is typically pretty fun. All weekend days are typically pretty busy in the evenings. They occasionally have drag shows, fundraisers and other events.

A great venue for some inexpesive cocktails, good selection of beers. You can also enjoy a friendly game of pool, darts as well as video games and pinball machine. Great staff.

Cheap beers and expensive Bears. Nice, fun people; a neighborhood bar. You wont find attitude here, just lots of laughs, an amazing patio, billiards, darts and more.

We started going there in January this past year 😎 we completed our move here in late November. Our first time in the bar as official residents, had a good time with the clientele and made some hopefully new friends 😎😀

Seems like a low-key place, very casual. However, it seems to scew older. I think my friend and I were the only guys under the age of 45. Great place, cheap drinks and nice bartender.

Packed every night, if you are looking to have a drink with some friends then it is a good idea to go to the bunkhouse.

Staff was not friendly the time we went but others have said it was supposed to be good. Went with a lesbian friend and before I arrived to meet my friend a group of guys there made a comment that she must not know its a bear bar. Sad to see patrons of a gay not being accepting of other LGBT members.
