What an awesome little outdoor strip right behind Desert Ridge mall. This place has restaurants, bars, boutiques, Sprouts grocery store, dessert shops, comedy club & general shopping. They also host cars and coffee once a month. Tons of parking both on the street and in parking garages. Its beautiful outside at night with all the string lights & theres a good mix of people. Highly recommend checking this place out!
High Street is always a great place to go for drinks, dinner, or to hang out! We ate at Cook & Craft, then had drinks at Gin & Mill. Great night!
Went to Soda Jerk down here, Yum Yum!!! Crazy milk shakes, floats, and sundays. You can get them regular style also. Come with an appetite as its big filling portions. So when visiting High Street, be sure to treat yourself and stop in.
We attended the USA Today food and wine festival. 1-4p, so when everyone arrived, they were hungry. All the food offerings were huddled on one end; so that was total chaos until people were fed; then people started spreading out a bit more. The offerings were very good; Jamaican jerk chicken, carbonara dish, fried chicken, many beef offerings including Frashers brisket slider etc. there were MANY more drink offerings, shots of all sorts, mixed drinks and wine tasting spots thruout. There were two tents for ‘educational’ events - wine tastings, flower arranging etc but zero ability to get a seat. No seating (very limited) so if you want a spot to sit down, would highly recommend going for the VIP tent- which also gets you entry at noon.
This place had come a long way. Theres so much to do and see. From an art gallery bar that has live music, upscale restaurants, a comedy club, dance club, nail salon, more! Garage parking.
High street is a true vibe. This is the place to go for great food, amazing bars, and that perfect night out. If youre trying to impress someone, this is the place to be
The food was delicious, a very small quaint restaurant. Music was a little loud, had a hard time visiting.
Parking is a little sparse, but it is a beautiful complex with a wide variety of shops and professional offices.
Lots of local eateries and decent parking even if you cant find a spot on the street.
This is another fun place my wife & I like to go, totally Tikid out on the inside, the, its a light hearted place to enjoy fantastic food, great music and a quick lunch. FYI if you are looking for a nice place for a date or quiet dining experience this is not the place(unless you dont want to hear the person you are with 😉 hahaha) , its quiet noisy even without the music but the food fully makes up for it.
The ice cream shop was a real treat -- Ive never seen anything like these creations, and they taste as good as they look!
Went to Sprouts Farmers Market looking for something.Would give a ZERO stars if I could.Ive never been in there before. The cashier was rude and condescending. Yelled at me when I went to check out the other part of the store (just sticking my nose in to see what was there), not knowing customers werent allowed.Maybe you need to train your cashiers on customer service.I will not be back.
Found my favorite designer brand here! I was so excited to see it. Great htf items. I will be shopping here again .
It has really changed (for the better!) since I had an office there 10 years ago! Great restaurants and general vibe!
Nice shopping area! Many of stores and restaurants, plenty of free parking, room to walk on the sidewalks, not too crowded
The Mighty Axe was a great place to try out for dinner. Menu had some good choices from Mellow Mushroom and it was a blast practicing throwing axes. Parking was dreadful and a long walk but didnt try the parking garage.
High street market Is a great market? Unfortunately, it will be closing soon for the summer. Make sure to be the when it reopens. But it was great to come down and hang out with my buddy, who is a new vendor. Make sure you check them out now, serving cold ice teas and selling loose leaf tea. Guaranteed to be some of the best in the valley. @az_zentea and @azdopesoap again, some of the best soap Ive ever used. Have a good day, yall 🙏
We loved this got some great veges and I love the kids area what a great idea for young entrepreneurs!!!
Careful. Management company loves towing cars during the day from empty parking lots. Security rides around on golf carts harassing patrons placing stickers on their windows and taking pictures of their vehicles. But only the ones they dont like as other cars seem to be able to park daily without issue. Any communication with management company/security ends with them shutting off and refusing to talk anymore or return phone calls....
Some retail had limited hours - but loved theLifeStyledco.
Ive always been disappointed with the food and drink here over the years... so trendy yet so unsatisfying.
Cool, vibrant shopping area. Lots of good places to grab a bite.
Went to several establishments . friendly service. Parking can be challenging as these new developments cant seem to understand how parking can seriously determine if people will bother to check out an establishment. go early for a decent parking space.
High Street is definitely a happening place. An awesome selection of eateries and pubs all within easy walking. Great mostly high end stores with lots of specialty items . Parking on High Street is limited but with much more parking around the back with easy store entrance.
Lots of new shops and restaurants. Definitely we’re coming back.
Walked the complete street Looking for the ideal place to have dinner, found it. This street is a must
Just popped into the Sprouts Express for eggs and there were none. Then thought, I will grab bananas...nope. No produce. So perhaps a gluten free bread maybe..no.Anyway..I am not sure what most would stop for in here. I wont be back. BUT the guy working, was super personable.
Fun place to grab a drink. Parking is always a struggle, so plan to wait.
Great spot, best cars and coffee in Phoenix
There are some cool places. The axe bar and arcade, hidden beer bar in the coffee shop and farmersarketa on the weekends. Lots of black owned businesses.
Went to the blue martini, happy hour is good the beers are normal priced. The live music was good and the bartender was very nice and friendly
Cute casual bar with great Happy Hour. The service was friendly and the edameme spicy. The little fish bites were easy to share. The margarita was well balanced. I ordered the traditional one. Nice restroom big and clean.
Very nice shopping center with a great variety of places to eat.
Cars and coffee was worth waking up in the morning and going to ……. Great cars and sweet owners
Parking is not too great but I had a blast at the Mighty Ax
High Street is always good! And easy covered parking.
Great experience, fun people behind counter.
Posh and expensive shops for my taste. Parking is a nightmare.
High street is a really unique and twist to the whole shopping mall/plaza theme. They have a wide selection of places to eat and get all of your shopping needs! They have a lot of special events and things always going on to have fun and put a little change in your day to day life. If you haven’t been here yet check it out, you can thank me later!5/5 stars
The mall was okay. It was the AZ Jazz Festival production that was terrible. It was the worst outdoor event I ever attended. Cheap plastic chairs zip tied together, so you couldnt move. Nasty port of potties. No in and out to use clean public restrooms. There were lots of ridiculous rules that didnt get applied. People pass out due to alcohol and no shading. Too hot outside not to have shaded areas for guests unless youre VIP and could afford $1300.00 tickets and up.
Such a nice vibe / environment. Clean. Good parking. And good selection of places to visit.
I love the High Street area, and it looks like a great place to just walk around with my wife and enjoy the evening. I only give it four starts because, at this point they are still finding themselves in terms of interesting shops and restaurants. I love the Mellow Mushroom, which is why we drove there on a Saturday evening, and there was a nice amount of people walking around, but there just aren’t that many places to really make it a destination, yet. I trust this will change over time.
I would have put a 5 Star down if they had more clothing stores/boutiques/stores. I feel they would get more business during the day if people could eat and shop. I love this place. I love that they have great events here from the Farmers Market to wine tastings or art shows to Concerts right in my neighborhood.
Very nice shopping and dinning area
Clean, organized, not not to many people stumbling. Fun bar/ club atmosphere. As well as a comedy club
Not bad, the food was tasty and the server was kind.
Cozy place with shops that stay open till late night.
Exceptional food, service, and atmosphere!! So what if you have to wait the energy and staff are friendly with great music to vibe out to.The food and the drinks Wow. From the carnitas hash, avocado toast, chicken and waffles, pancakes, and they have vegetarian options as well. Bring the whole family kids will love this place as well.
High Street is great because it is host to many locally owned and operated restaurants and is in a great, growing location....(growing WAY too fast! lol) Was interested in the Jazz Festival they have there annually until I saw ticket prices....just insane!
A shopping center with restaurants, shops, medical offices and some other small businesses. Has residential apartments also. Very nice area in North Phoenix.
The perfect place for entertainment. Great restaurants and night life without having to fight city traffic. Just my kind of place!
Love this place ❤️ Shared my 80th birthday with family. Food was fabulous! We were well taken care of, couldnt have been more perfect! Thank you 😊
Lots of restaurants with lots of choices. We at at Modern Margaritas and it was very good. It was loud for us old folks, but good
Not much of a cigar guy but this place is plenty chill and the ventilation provided an enjoyable atmosphere for me to enjoy with my friends. Overall good experience with nice drinks and trail mix.
The pizza is very good. Service was friendly and attentive. The wings are bake but moist and tender. You have to try. They accommodated our group of 18 with no problem and with a smile.
Great place to meet up with people. multiple restaurants and comedy club.
I went at night and the presentation of the entire High Street was really beautiful and classy! The strings of lights they have decorating the street all the way though really makes it look enticing and elegant! Great shops as well and some cute cozy boutique shops that are a must stop and shop!!
Theres a farmers market on Sundays and my family loves going there when where in town. All local venders, everyone is very nice and the atmosphere is up lifting. Just a beautiful area with some much to do. Next time were in town, my wife and I plan to go to High Street when all the local shops are open and to experience the night life. Who knows, maybe well look at buying a condo while were there because we like the area that much.
Lots of fun to be had and craft coffee and mocktails aplenty for the non-drinker.
This place is weird. EVERY SINGLE PLACE SERVES WINE!! Srsly you can go get a workout and have wine. Need you hair done? Well there is place that not only cuts hair. But gives you wine! The only places that does t serve wine is thr mathnasium and F35. You cant walk around without have wine. Why so much wine?
This was the first time Ive been to High Street and my friends and I had an incredible time! There are numerous bars and restaurants to choose from. However, I do recommend having a reservation in advance. Other than that, the atmosphere and uniqueness of each establishment is unmatched. There is so much to choose from. I highly recommend visiting. This is one of my new favorite places in the valley.
So fun!! I am a planner by trade, so I truly appreciate a well-planned development. Mixed-use, lots of fun restaurants and bars. Kiddos loved the very original ice cream shop! Also a comedy club. Whats not to love.
Lots of great restaurants ranging from bars to high end dining offering seafood, traditional bar food and some great dessert shops. This area would get 5 stars if parking were a bit better. The ambience is awesome with the overhead bistro lights.I frequent this area for date nights and after work happy hours.
Cute shops and restaurants with a parking garage. The best part is the restrooms near the garage which makes this a great place for events. I attended a car show which was amazing and I cant wait for the next one!
Such a fun place. You can feel the energy. A variety of places to eat and even sprouts. Great place to meet friends with lots of options. The only problem is the parking. Hard to find unless you use the garage.
Nice to have fun and shopping there
This restaurant is in a very fun location. We had a short wait on a Thursday evening, needing a table inside because it was about to rain. The service was top notch, she repeatedly returned throughout the stay asking if we needed anything. The taco flight was delicious. Chicken, carne asada, pork, fish and my personal favorite, veggie tacos. All very differently seasoned and just small enough you you could try several and be stuffed.
Went to the Farmers Market on Sunday morning... mehh. Found some excellent salsa from Los Muertos, definitely recommend 👌 also got an awesome fresh grilled Philly cheese steak sandwich from a husband & wife vendor. Other than that it was so-so.
Making a nice comeback. Mature crowd and very diverse. The food selections are great.
We had a nice time at the market. Something for everyone from clothing to gift items, hot and specialty foods including low sugar, diabetic friendly and keto baked goods, frozen seafood such as salmon, candles and soaps galore, popcorn and kettle corn, fresh juices, jewelry, you name it. Sundays from 10-1, go while the weather is nice and support local. I loved the British couple selling homemade scones and clotted cream, which reminded me of our London trip this past December.
Always a great time on High St.Excellent selection of places to dine. Great drinks. A fun vibe.
Nice place. I really dont go to these places that often, it seems to have some really good restaurants, But my son plays a whole bunch of different sports and were always on the go so we dont really hang out at restaurants. We hang out at sports complexes, football fields, basketball courts, tennis courts, MMA cages you get the idea!
Lovely area! I went to the comedy club and everything is still clean and well maintained.
Very nice place. Fun for all here
Cool area, great for tourism and taking people from out of town. Nice restaurants in lots to do!
Make sure to visit the comedy show and Soda Jerk!
Great ambiance. After a certain time, people do get a little crazy and are usually drunk after 10:00 pm. But over all clean, and nice.Parking is free and huge
Such a vibe. So many restaurants to choose from with outdoors dining. Great music on the weekend. Will definitely be returning for a date night or girls night out.
This area is so interesting. So many different things offered on this one little street. From the Rick Bronson Comedy Club (excellent by the way) to the milk Shake Bar with the puzzle room behind it (also excellent) Other things for our smaller humans. Nice area love to have a reason to go there
Always something or someplace to go, plenty of good places to eat and socialize. This place and Desert Ridge is a one stop shopping center and has everything you need. Always a great experience and never have had any problems with parking either. What a great concept ! One can live, shop and dine in one location.
This place is kind of odd. Its meant to look like a downtown shopping district like you would find in a big city except that its more like a strip mall off of the freeway. They have a bunch of little shops and restaurants with apartment units above the retail spaces. Its very clean and definitely an interesting space. Kudos to whoever developed this place. They could have just built a strip mall but they decided to do something different.
Went to the car show was awesome
Service was horrible, the girl who made my drink a Long Island was not good at all. I told her it just didnt taste right. She was standing her ground and saying that the drink was fine. Um no it was not! I asked her to just make me a margarita... I mean how hard can that be to make and not get wrong. Not coming back until they change the staff because the other girl that was behind her just stood there looking at me. Like I was in the wrong?.... Um I am not paying for something that taste nasty.
7/31/2021-- Oh my gosh. Is there an option for higher than five stars?? Ive done about 40 escape rooms now and nothing else Ive ever done compares to the Nemesis Clubs EVIL Robots room. Absolutely worth every penny and I would highly, highly recommend it.I. Was. Absolutely. Blown. Away! Set design, puzzle creativity, overall experience-- it lived up to all the hype thats been circulating about it, and then some. We went through with a group of 4 adults and everyone felt like they got to participate enough, there were multiple areas to explore. One of my favorite things about my favorite escape rooms is when you feel transported, part of an immersive experience. And the Nemesis Club has set a new bar for me in that way! I absolutely cant wait for their next rooms and to see their business thrive!Patrick was a fantastic host and sidekick to our game!
This place is very nice. It just feels clean and organized. There are a lot of nice stores. It is a fun place to visit.Edit: First Saturday of every month cars and coffee car show. Every Sunday farmers market.
Went to Mellow Mushroom. Place wasnt too crowded but service was very, very slow. Not blaming the waitress, not sure it was her fault.I actually had my husband go and find someone to cancel my 2nd drink order as I was now done with my meal and ready to pay and leave. The annoying thing was the bartenders were just standing around so not sure who was at fault but not a good experience IMO
Yummy loved it! Everyone in the group loved their food. Was so happy to finally have a great meal.
Love this place! I work on High Street and love the dining options and having a sprouts market close by. Not sure what Christopher is talking about in his review here regarding misters; they have a lot of them to keep this place cool while outside walking around High Street! Maybe he was visiting in the winter time! Ha!Great shops, restaurants; its a small quaint place.
Fun place to go on the weekends... And some weeknights too(Wednesday and Thursday). Fun bars, good food and drink. Not tons of retail shopping but just a half mile down the road is tons of shopping at Desert Ridge.
Azjazzfest was amazing Saturday 21 Oct 2023. My sisters and niece came from out of town. Enjoyed the day together. OGs in the house.
Most racist place Ive ever been and Im from texas. The short walk from hulas down to soda jerk has 4 giant posters of blue-eyed white women and thats pretty much all that is represented as far as Ive seen. I get that these are individual shops but to think none of the owners notice or care is disgusting. Even scottsdale is more progressive. As a woman of color I dont even get offended easily but I felt so uncomfortable and unwelcome here. Consider more decent establishments to support.
My first time experiencing High Street and what a great place! Misters were going on store fronts, to help beat the heat of the day. Lights were strung above the street to give it a festive quality at night. Lots of restaurants to choose from!
Great food. Nice atmosphere. Ask the hostess to see us with social distancing in mind she was happy to comply. This is not a normal sushi restaurant its high-end and delicious.
High Street is a fine name. We all like to be on top of that mountain. Happy Sunday.
Most delicious luau pulled pork sandwich and the sweet potatoes fries were the best Ive ever had. Super busy for hot summertime mid week visit so it was very loud and packed but food and service was great
Its always fun to walk down High Street. There are so many nice restaurants and the fountains and greenery make it look lovely. Its especially nice in the early evening when it has cooled down to just walk around, take in the lights hanging above, and wind down for the night.
Really like the vibe for the High Street venue with the AZ jazz fest! All of the neighboring businesses and restaurants were super friendly and welcoming! Cant wait for the next one.
Nice area with ample shops, spots for food, and drinks. Parking was easy and there is a fair amount of cover to make walking around in the summer a bit more tolerable.
Lots of restaurants and bars in a cool place to have a good time.
Boozys on High Street was a great place for a drink and a bite to eat with great service on a quiet Wednesday afternoon. That said, the rest of High Street was closed and quiet. Certainly a consideration for a return on a Friday night, but for any other day of the week, the area was just too quiet.
Nice place. Im sure there will be more shopping/restaurant areas ikea this poppin up through the valley in the future. They just need more parking and more shops/restaurants. Still, good place to bring a date or date night with the spouse
Id like to down there it was peaceful it was safe they have all kinds of different shows jazz cars I didnt know that Ill start visiting more cuz Im not far from it thank you Dwayne have a good day
It is great to see that they are making their way through a tough economy theyre still there and so are the people the shops are there the opportunity to drink or eat or dance or laugh or drink or shop this is the place. If you want to dance dont forget the Blue Martini freaking amazing and no attachments come to watch come to dance or come to drink it is out of this world maybe even flashed back to Old School Funk rhythm and blues and a touch of rock and roll.
Fun venue for a concert. One problem. I bought VIP seats and the chairs are not very sturdy. Im 64 and weight 260lbs and the legs were separating. There are many people a lot heavier than that. Not a good feeling that you cought hit the ground at any moment.Other than that, great.Good parking,Good food,Good music.
Great farmers market on Sundays!
Took my family out to celebrate a high school graduation at The Mellow Mushroom. Great service, excellent food and beverages. An outstanding hideaway for conversation between couples as they have many booths in an assortment of rooms. Bar is fully stocked with some incredible micro-brew and wines plus a more than sufficient selection of spirits. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal and friendly service.
There is plenty to do there. Car shows, farmers market, coffee.Great night life with a few bars, and even a comedy club. Would be great to live in the apartments here so close to all the activity.
There are only two places Ive been at high Street, one is mellow mushroom and the other is modern Margarita. Mellow mushroom is phenomenal get whatever you want it will be amazing and modern Margarita I highly recommend their nachos. Theyre the best nachos I have ever had.
Ive only visited High Street to eat at Mellow Mushroom which is delicious. However, it seems like a shopping center for the high class so theres not much to actually shop for. Still, very clean and trendy little area.
Very nice place with great does but you have to walk to park generally. There is some parking on the street but you have as good of odds in winning the lottery as snagging one of those spots. Not super convenient when the Arizona heat is in full force
Nice high end new age strip mall mixed use trendy boutique and specialty driven area. Always good for a drink at several upscale bars, casual and upscale restaurants and hair, yoga and yogurt on the fly. Great spot to drop by and just a couple of blocks from desert ridge mall.
Really cool entertainment district with bars, restaurants and course, The House of Comedy! We went there to see K-Von Saturday night and enjoyed the ease of street parking.
Outstanding variety of food choices! Fun shops, & customer friendly people. You need to check this out!
I LOVE it I never knew it existed. They have SOMETHING for everyone from Doctors to fast food to restaurants. To me it is like you have entered a different city. So glad to have DISCOVERED IT.IF YOU HAVENT PLEASE HEAD OVER. MOVIES, IMAX, ETC. AND VERY CLEAN. EASY TO PARK SND FIND WHAT YOU WANT. I WAS VERY SURPRISED
I had a haircut appointment at Cast Salon with Antonio (new owner) it was fantastic! Love it and very happy for the new owners. Highly recommend checking it out!
The discount tire store is great there. We have them care for our Co. Trucks and they give great service. The home Depot there is one of the better stocked home Depot stores. I do alot of business with home Depot all over the valley , the one on 59th. Is one of the better stores
Awesome place to dine if you are in the Desert Ridge area. Appetizers are fresh and local, along with the ingredients of all dishes. I have the Craft Burger (Outstanding) and the Caprese Cocktail (To die for!) and the green apple and jicama slaw (Phenominal)!!
This is a really nice, trendy area. The street is lined with lights so its always pretty. Parking is easy and you can always find a space. Farmers Market on the 3rd Sundays from 10 to 1. We take our boys to the dentist here as do most parents I know. There are a lot of great restaurants to choose from. Modern Margarita is awesome, the margaritas are really strong, the guacamole is so good. Ive eaten at a few of the other restaurants but they were all good. Fro Yo and coffe places are perfect for after dinner.
We ended up here around 8:00 on a Sunday night. It has some cool looking shops and restaurants, but not much was open. There was some music that we listened to as we walked the street. Theres some cool art/statue type things. Well have to come back when more is open
This place is on the up and up. A lot of great places to eat and get a drink. Blue Martini is a great place to have a good time. I recommend checking out the places around it when you are done if you are looking for a good night out. I was surprised to see a Kona Grill being built at the end of High Street. Pretty cool. See ya soon!
I love High Street! Clean, great experiences. What more can you ask for?I run a small business nearby! Id love to take care of you!
Great place to have a bite to eat, or go out at night Thursday through Sunday. Have enjoyed the comedy club there several times, and Mellow Mushroom is one of my favorite restaurants. Nice enough people, good food, good times.
Not in love with High Street. We hate the Blue Martini and our last visit was the comedy club there and the comedians were fun but the wait to get in was way too long (almost an hour- they were late) and the air conditioning was not working well, so we were all dying of heat waiting in line standing. Not sure we would go again, plus most of the restaurants here arent that great. But there are some new ones maybe well try.....
This is a really nice area that has been built up over the last few years. There are stores great restaurants a comedy club residences and professional businesses throughout. Theres usually a lively crowd on the weekends but nothing is overcrowded.
Love to sit around the outdoor sidewalk cafes to do dome people watching. Great street.
Relaxed but upbeat environment! Open air bars and restaurants make for a great day time spot.
The restaurants and shops here are great to spend some time in the evening but its not exactly somewhere to spend a day shopping. Its mostly restaurants and some nail salons, barbershops, etc. Parking can be a pain during the busiest times, so plan to walk a bit once you do find a place.
Very friendly and great coffee!!! I would have given 5 stars but it was dirty in the bathroom and lobby, I also saw tyere was a mess on the cutting board behing the counter which tells me the board was dirty and still being used.
Great mall type area with plenty of good bars, restaurants and shopping. Modern, clean and safe.
