The true definition of a spa experience. Clean, serene, and relaxing. The staff is the most helpful and patient that I have personally ever dealt with.A special thanks to Allie and Ardy — these two receptionists went above and beyond for me numerous times. They deserve a raise in my opinion. They both demonstrated immaculate customer service to perfect my spa experiences.

My massage was canceled after I arrived and changed out of my clothes. Was told this was due to a lingering smell in the room. Up until this I had great experiences here. Was not offered a reschedule, very disappointed.

One of the best sauna places I have been to. Calm atmosphere, minimalist design yet very inviting. Not crowded. You almost have the place to yourself.

This is really what a spa should be, calm, relaxing, simple and clean. This has now been my 15th time to go to either the SE location or the NE location to find my balance in life.This is a great location. The combination of the steam room and sauna is a perfect contrast. Being able to get a foot soak and a tea during your steams really gets the skin and soil activated. I have had massages before also, and they are always a nice addition. Grab a robe, some flip flops, your favorite book and decompress for 2 hours.Recommend calling to see what is on the schedule, some days are women only, men only or co-ed. the NE location is a bit larger plus does have talking area if you are wanting to be social with a friend or partner.My favorite place to find zen.

Thoroughly enjoyed my 90-min massage and aroma therapy at Loyly Sauna southeast. Stephanie was able to work out all of my stress and tension and I walked out feeling like a new person. All staff embers were welcoming and polite, I look forward to my return visit.

My friend and I had a marvelous time with our massages and sauna. It wasnt busy, but I can imagine myself not enjoying my experience if there were a lot of people in the sauna. Ill definitely be back.

I love going to the sauna with my friends every week! Its such a peaceful and calming place, and the staff is super friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere. We always have a great time relaxing together and feel so refreshed when we leave. Its like a little escape from the busy world, and were always thankful for this cozy and friendly retreat.Oh, and I cant forget to mention the amazing massages they offer at the sauna! The deep tissue massage at the sauna worked wonders for my sore muscles, providing much-needed relief and leaving me feeling so much better afterward.

Men are permitted to be topless but everyone else must be fully covered. This used to be an inclusive environment where people could choose how much covering they were comfortable with. I went in thinking nothing had changed, no signs posted anywhere to say differently. When walked into the sauna area, saw topless men, I was topless as well and didnt think anything. was about to go into the sauna and an employee stopped me from entering and said had to cover my chest before entering the sauna. This new policy doesnt feel safe or inclusive to me. Also not very Portland, since we have a naked bike ride.

Its grounds for a lawsuit over discrimination when you allow men to go topless but not women. Completely wrong and discriminatory. Also to assume whos a man and whos a woman is further discrimination.

Great place to really enjoy sauna employees are very polite the facility is clean they dont cheap out on soaps body wash towels or anything. Saunas are clean and comfortable really liked the fact that you get a good sauna experience unlock gyms and other places that dont provide water for steam. The place provides everything you need to have a good experience. Really happy I found this place and really looking forward to coming back again and again

Ill give this place like 4.5 Stars. The price is very affordable and I really like that a lot, also it was a very relaxing environment and it wasnt crowded at all when I went which is really really nice, nothing worse than our super crowded spot. The only thing I didnt like was that the sauna was a little too cool, I would have preferred it to be a little bit warmer. Oh also, its really nice to have like 2 hours at the facility. I would highly recommend this place and go back here

This place was quite the experience. From the steam room and sauna to the relax space was all just so relaxing and serene. My skin felt so soft after the steam room. My massage from Hannah was peaceful, relaxing and too short...lol.I absolutely loved the scrub part of the massage. Thanks for making my self care day a wonderful experience.

Simple, straightforward, and impeccably clean facilities. The locker room is well laid out with lots of thoughtful details, but no clutter. There is a dry sauna and a steam room. I love the giant door that can be rolled open in the warm weather to access a private sliver of patio. They keep the number of guests down to a really manageable number and everyone has been very respectful and quiet. I highly recommend ending your visit with one of their salt scrubs.

Whether you need a couple hours of blissful relaxation between their steam or dry sauna, or are ready to schedule a calming massage or facial, I have never had a poor experience at Loyly. The staff are very welcoming, they are helpful in introducing a newbie to the sauna experience, and the ambience truly helps you disconnect from the busy outside world.Every visit to the public sauna has felt safe, clean and peaceful, and if you want to add a bit extra, I highly recommend adding a foot soak and sugar scrub to your visit.Gift yourself a couple of hours of quiet and heat - you wont regret it!

I love this place. They have a great atmosphere with incandescent lights, plants, and calming music. The staff were helpful and engaging with suggestions for masks and foot baths. And of course, the sauna was top notch, a beautiful chrome grate over the coals, it reminded me of the atomic age. I think the water bucket for steam had a subtle amount of essential oils, which was just right for my nose.

Im in love with this location. If you are feeling stressed out then you just need to come to Loyly and chill. Even if youre not stressed out, you need to come to Loyly and chill. Just sauna and steam room until you are blissed out. There are never too many people. They have all the things you need plus add ons.

Not sure what happened but I ended up getting a shorter massage than I wanted. Didn’t get charged for the full massage and they nicely apologized but it still sucks. Drove from out of town for this and booked the full package.Also it isn’t stated on the website where I saw, but just a heads up to people: it’s an open unisex locker room without changing rooms. So expect to be nude/semi-nude around the opposite gender. There was always a man in the locker room when I was in there changing. Call me a prude but I resorted to using the bathroom stall so nobody would see my private areas when changing out of my wet swimwear for the massage. And the showers have a black floor that are reflective when wet… so you can see the people in the shower next to you through the floor reflection.Also the garage door was raised so there was a very large 40 degree draft blowing in directly next to the sauna doors, so I guess there’s no point in the cold shower lol. With the garage door raised, the privacy film is raised so the neighbors can easily see you in your bikini and robe from their top floor windows. So if privacy isn’t your thing, you’re all good.And if you’re relaxing, don’t worry, there will be loud conversations or banging around so much that you can hear it in the steam room and massage room.The facial was amazing and I highly recommend though. Seriously amazing. Everything else isn’t worth it in my opinion. Wish I could’ve just tipped that person because she was the only reason I felt relaxed after.

We rented the place for 2 hours for my bridal shower. This was a wonderful place to relax, chat, and spoil ourselves. Unfortunately, my massage I pre-booked was canceled, then moved to after our private spa time. The therapist seemed slightly annoyed that she had to give me a 30 min massage (which was supposed to be 60). She was sure to mention to me that I was fit in between 2 other people in her schedule. The massage itself was good, but her annoyed attitude was not.

Always hits the spot. Appreciate they have steam and sauna which is a rarity. Nice to cool down on the lounge chairs or in the section where garage door opens and you can get fresh air.

I havent had too many massages but this was definitely the best Ive ever had! Louisa definitely listened to the areas that I wanted to focus on and asked just enough questions. I added a mini facial to my massage and it was so wonderful!! I cant wait to come back!

Just do it. Treat yourself. Come here dozens of times. Saunas and whole experience is wonderful. Get the special with the foot soak, tea, and face mask!

My friends and I did the private spa rental for 2 hours and it was absolutely heaven! The sauna, steam room, showers and everything are just wonderful! This was the ultimate way to relax with friends! The spa smells so good too. I cannot wait to go back!

We had an amazing relaxing time at Loyly, love it. Its no frills which is fine with us, but comfortable enough for a couple of hours of chill-time. We typically opt for the basic 2 hour visit but you can get many different spa packages, teas, scrubs etc if you so desire. Inside there are private massage rooms, a locker room and a communal relaxation area containing the steam and sauna rooms. There is also roll-up garage door and a small outdoor area for when its warm out. We always leave feeling very happy and completely relaxed.

After suffering with unbearable neck pain for over a week I finally scheduled my first massage ever and Loyly did amazing! Easy online scheduling I got in same day. Kelby was awesome and he pin-pointed every area that was sourcing my suffer. I walked out of there instantly feeling 33% better and more on track to recover in less time. Think I’ll go back day after tomorrow :)

I recently booked a massage and facial for my birthday (an extremely rare treat due to the pandemic). This was my first time trying these services at Loyly though I have enjoyed the sauna many times (pre-covid). I received an email at 9pm the evening before my appointment letting me know my massage therapist was no longer available due to illness from her recent covid vaccine. Though I completely understood (thrilled staff are getting vaccinated), I was disappointed as I had a number of things planned for the day. The person I spoke with gave me a couple of options to remedy the situation and I chose one that worked best for me. When I arrived at the facility (which has excellent covid protocols that made me feel very safe) the staff were very apologetic and let me know they had comped one of my add-on services due to the inconvenience. The massage (my therapist was Taylor, who is usually at the NE location) was one of the best I’ve experienced in Portland (lots of consent and info gathering that made me feel very cared for). The facial was so luxurious and my skin felt amazing after. It was honestly the most relaxed I have been in over a year. When the massage was over the receptionist apologized again and sent me home with some lovely sage bath salts. I was completely floored by the customer service and the way the staff went out of their way to make this such a wonderful experience. I can’t recommend Loyly enough and their kindness and excellent service have earned my loyalty!

Love Loyly. A little challenging to get to and park because I live across the river, but the facility is gorgeous, the staff are professional, and it feels like stepping into a true urban oasis. Ive had a little everything, but my favorite add ons are the detox tea, a post-sauna body scrub, and the foot soak. If Im not getting a facial, their face masks are also great to add on. The little snacks they have are also perfect for the setting, when you will be there for multiple services and need a little munch.

Over the moon for Loyly! Expect to be greeted by incredibly friendly and helpful staff. The inside has a clean, simple and organic aesthetic- very warm and inviting. Beautiful sauna facilities with a small cafe counter in the back serving up aromatherapy foot baths, facial masks, delicious teas, kombucha and light snacks. Their massage and facial menu is quite extensive with tons of luxurious packages.I indulged in the Complete Renovation package and it was incredible! The staff were eager to explain what was included with my services, how it worked and had a pot of tea and sage footbath ready for me in no time. I never had to ask for a warm up, the staff were on top of it with a smile! My prenatal massage and facial were with Heather and she was amazing. My massage was just perfect in every way and my facial - insanely divine....seriously the most relaxing experience ever. She used all sorts of luxurious Evanhealy organic skincare products and I walked away feeling incredibly refreshed. I will definitely be back soon!

Had the best massage of my life here from Laura! Truly magical. Must add the sauna package to your massage, its life changing to heat those muscles before and after. The sauna area is smaller than I expected and I didnt love that I could hear the toilets flush while relaxing, but its still a wonderful place to treat yourself for an afternoon

I had a wonderful experience here on Wednesday November, 11th. My massage therapist was Ash. She did and amazing job. Highly professional, and was careful of my old injuries. I look forward to going back. They were also very careful with Covid. Even took my temperature.

Great place, great staff, and great price! Really enjoyed going in and out of the sauna and steam room and cooling down under the cold shower.

Ill confess I was a bit nervous at first about going to Loyly. I can never handle being in a sauna for very long, and I was worried it wouldnt be worth the money. But, my friend invited me and I decided to give it a shot. I loved it! The atmosphere is calming, especially the smells! I did a one use facial, had some tea, and my friend and I spent time going from one sauna to the other and with breaks in the common room. I finished off with a salt scrub and let me tell you, my skin hasnt felt this good in years! I really liked the products that they sell there (some free trade as well!). The staff were pleasant and helpful.

I have to say that the aggressive rudeness, ambivalence, and complete lack of hospitality or customer service was overwhelming and bizarre walking in at 2:30 pm today. I happen to love spa treatments, and have had the pleasure of going to some of the best spas across the country. Im not sure where these girls at the front desk think they are, but I have been treated far better pretty much everywhere else Ive ever been from Beverly Hills to NYC. After a challenging five minutes with these two women, we couldnt have gotten out of there any faster. And looking at several of the other one star reviews, this seems like a chronic issue for this spa. Curious how the owner has no interest in creating a friendly, welcoming environment. To each his/her own! But there are plenty of other places in town who will graciously take my money to provide a much better experience. The front desk staff at Zenana spa around the corner couldnt have been more friendly and accommodating to us; I highly recommend going there instead!!

Loyly is the perfect place to relax and recoup on your own or with a friend. Their facilities make you feel transported to a serene spa. They often offer a monthly special that includes a foot soak, mask and tea. Its fabulous!

Cant say enough good things about this place. I went for a one hour massage with Autumn and it was hands-down the best massage Ive had in my life. If I lived in Portland, Id be frequenting this place! The place itself was lovely and relaxing. Highly recommended.

I had a 90 minute massage today which largely consisted of oil being rubbed across my body and hands being hovered or held lightly on areas of body. When I asked for more pressure, I was told my body wasnt responding? and shed see what she could do.It ended with me being left oily on the bed. No towel, shower or robe offered to clean myself off.The steam room and sauna were relaxing but Ill never get another massage there.Really disappointing treatment. I thought Id treat myself to some relaxation after a grueling two weeks of work. Sadly Im just a bit poorer for it financially.

This is the most wonderful sanctuary! Scandanavian/minimalist chic, excellent steam and sauna with a cold plunge (ahhh....), as well as a little sun deck and a nice lounge. Scrumptious teas, nice selection of facial and body treatment products for purchase. There are a few rules to be aware of: this isnt a place to come and chat with your pals. Silence is encouraged, low voices okay. Also, you should call in advance. A limited number of people are allowed in at a time. Ive never had a problem getting in, though. And the treatments are really nice, if you want to splurge. I especially love the women-only days.

Great, quiet, peaceful place to steam and reflect. Love all the smells of eucalyptus and lavender. A bit challenging for coeds to book just have to pay attention to schedule and plan ahead in busy season.

It was a Saturday so that means women only. To say it was relaxing is an understatement. There was an unrushed feel adding to the overall calming environment. I look forward to mixed gender hours too.

Great spot, even during covid times. A 60-minute massage with their giant back door open was far more private that I initially thought, was thoroughly relaxing and highly appreciated.

Clean, quiet, super nice staff. Perfect little spot to unwind. If you go during mixed (male & female) hours you need to bring a swimsuit.

This is not a posh spa, but is fantastic for its simplicity. The focus on the sauna is different than a typical spa and the massage therapists are great.
