So how to start with this place. Lets just say it very quickly turned into whats going to become an annual event. Spent 5 hours being pampered was supposed to start with the infrared sauna but I couldnt because there was traffic and we had to switch up the schedule of things. But Im sure it would have been lovely. The rain shower was unbelievable a whole new experience of spa that I never even knew existed getting completely scrubbed down and exfoliated was amazing and having a warm shower right over you as youre getting scrubbed down is unbelievable. Not to mention we were pampered with champagne and chocolate and then an 80 minute massage that Im put me in and out of sleep and left me feeling like butter. After that we went in for a body wrap My husband got the Coco chocolate wrap and I got the sea algae wrap. I was burritoed into a warm blanket that bakes the mask all over my body and soon after that went into a wonderful shower where there was shampoo and body wash provided and it washed off the entire mask. After that was a wonderful pedicure smell of coconut and pineapple and getting my polish changed. We ended by getting changed in the dressing room and completely dressed and ready to go to our wonderful dinner at Ruth Chris. Highly highly highly recommend the full 5 hour treatment.

I don’t usually write reviews, but I needed to after having the best massage I have ever had. Iqbal has to be the most experienced massage therapist I have come across. He knew exactly how to target my areas of need and left me feeling like a new person. Would highly recommend him to everyone.

Iqbal was amazing! He was so thorough and after explaining my problem areas to him, he took it from there. Hands down best massage I’ve had in a VERY long time and I’ll be putting myself on an every 2-3 week schedule moving forward!

Sara and her team are absolute rockstars. Ive had facials and massages here for years and always look forward to my next visit. On my most recent visit, I saw Victoria for a massage and I feel incredible. Cant wait to see her for a facial soon!

At the last minute, we decided to visit Portland for my birthday weekend and booked a massage and facial based on the excellent reviews. It was a fantastic decision. Iqbal Kana is fantastic. It was an absolutely great massage and facial.

The receptionist overbooked and the schedule was all screwed up so these 5 stars are for the massage therapist, Iqbal. He’s very experienced and really knows how to give a good massage. He helped relieve my back pain tremendously and I loved the stretches he incorporates into his treatment. He’s also just a super sweet, funny, down to earth guy and I would definitely visit him again!

Hands down the best massage I have ever had. Iqbal promised me it would be before he began and he did not disappoint. I had a 90min massage and he really helped me with my hip pain. Too bad I don’t live in Portland or I would be a regular! Thanks Iqbal Kana! If you are here when I come back next year I will be back! Thank you!

I recently moved to the Portland area and needed to relax after the stress of moving. The staff here made me feel welcome and relaxed as soon as I walked in the door. Iqbal did an amazing job with the massage. Always checked in to make sure I was comfortable. Facial with Sara was very relaxing as well. Overall great experience and will be going back. :)

Dao did my nails today and she was an absolute delight to chat with while she did. I had her doing a set of gel x because the last tech to do mine didnt do a very good job (different shop in another state). She was incredibly sweet and kind and funny, and I will definitely be getting my nails done just to see her next time Im in Portland!

Just visiting from Bay Area, decided we were long overdue massage was in order. We found this wee place and I had an amazing full body massage from Tricia, I gotta say it was one of the most relaxing experiences I had in a longtime, it was also very clean. I have been coming to Iqbal Kana to get massages for over 4 years. His hands are like magic! During my first visit with him, I was trying to find the source of my headaches. Iqbal discovered tightness in my neck and quickly helped resolve the issue. I have been coming to him regularly for full body massages ever since and I leave feeling much more relaxed and loose. He has years of experience and it is evident by the techniques that he uses to melt away any tightness. He checks in to make sure that I’m comfortable with the pressure, temperature, etc. I always have a great experience at this spa and I come to Iqbal regularly. The rain shower is also one of my favorite treatments at this spa as well. Laying down with water pouring down on you from the ceiling while getting massaged is so divine!

I had Tricia and she was amazing. She was very accommodating and sensitive to any changes I wanted. I was greeted with a glass of wine and smile. I’m from out of town, but would totally return to Tricia again. Super nice place!

I haven’t had a truly amazing massage like this for as long as I can remember. This experience was very healing. My sore and stressed body completely melted into a peaceful state. The combination of hot rocks, gentle heat, and aromatherapy were grounding, and worked really well. My therapist was kind and respectful, and strong and thorough. I will be going back.

I had a longggggg exhausting week of work and booked a quick massage to reset for the weekend…. Honestly I should have booked a longer massage had I known it would be THAT relaxing. Iqbal was great to talk to, and a wonder masseur. Thanks for having me Sasse! I will be back!

I have been going to Spa Sasse for years and I am so grateful to have a spa like this! I work downtown and being able to zip over and get things done during my lunch or before I head home is such a gift. Ive had all kinds of services over the years and been so happy with everything!

Beautiful experience, went with a friend for a couples massage. Our massage therapists some how knew exactly what we both needed. Very talented massage therapists.Do wish we were provided with robes and slips instead of changing in the room but otherwise it was perfect!

Spa Sassé was the highlight of my first trip to Portland. My 80 min massage and Vichy shower with Iqbal was nothing short of amazing. Jaylynn’s facial left me glowing and confident. They took such excellent care of me. If you want to treat yourself to relaxation and luxury, look no further.

You walk into the building at street level, then down some stairs & are greeted by the front desk which is well lit. They offer tea or water. Then take you to a very dim lit waiting area, from there you are taken to a different room for your service. Hubby & I did sea algae scrub in different rooms. Afterwards you shower in a dim lit shower. None of the shampoo / body wash dispensers worked, 2 shower head nozzles were missing. Overall a nice experience but thought it would be nicer, you know, kind of fancy.

While visiting Portland, OR I happened upon The Sasse Spa. Sasse spa is just a short walk from The Benson. I just received the best deep tissue massage I’ve ever had in my life from Sara Sasse. Words simply cannot come close to expressing how wonderful her massage technique is! The space is fun and clean!

Really relaxing space in the city, tucked away so you can’t hear any of the noises outside. My massage therapist Sara was amazing and really considerate with where to focus and amount of pressure. Will be back

From start to finish my experience was wonderful. I received great help and information on the phone, allowing me to really customize my experience to meet my needs. Started with a 30min sauna and then the honey massage right after. (Which felt perfect, helped my body relax prior to the massage) I was put in my own changing room, given a robe, slippers, towels and a safe space to leave my things, along with my own sauna room, with a shower and water and even Netflix in the sauna?!Then the massage! Iqbal Kana (the masseuse) was so warm and welcoming and the massage so relaxing and nourishing for my body. The mimosa and chocolate at the end was the cherry on top.I was met with so much kindness I will absolutely be coming back and recommending Sassé to my friends!

My husband booked a massage, facial, and sauna for me for mothers’ day. It felt weird to be at the basement of a very old building but the atmosphere and music helped me relax. It wasn’t very crowded. I liked to have a dressing room but my personal to belongings were not locked. Honestly, it wasn’t the best spa I’ve ever been, but comparing it to the ones in Dubai and in Turkiye wouldn’t be fair since they were very luxurious.

Michelle at Spa Sasse is amazing! It was my first time getting my brows done in years and she made them look amazing! Highly recommend.

It felt like she knew exactly what parts of me needed more attention without me needing to verbalize it. I was in town for work and really needed some muscles released. Iqbal did an INCREDIBLE job. He used a variety of techniques and I could tell he was very knowledgeable about different muscle groups. I had so many knots released but it was also very relaxing. This will be my go to spot in Portland!

Ive been to Sonia many times over the years and highly recommend her. She is naturally intuitive and gives a highly effective therapeutic massage that also feels great. Shes my favorite in the Portland metro area. She took great care of me after a recent auto accident also. I saw her 1-2 days later and was impressed with how gentle yet relieving her massage was. I drive into downtown and theres always been plentiful parking near the building. I also love her demeanor, shes calm and positive and Ive enjoyed talking with her during a massage if Im in the mood.

This little spa has some nice features and the staff is nice but the way it’s organized is off putting. The reminder texts are from different numbers and they changed my therapist without telling me. They were running late with the snow, so I understand some confusion. But talk to me.Put in the lounge with tea and no direction. Would’ve loved to change into a robe as I was getting massage and sauna and didn’t want to dress twice. No lockers or locker room space just a closet.I keep seeing “best massage ever” on here and I think they are asking for that, Iqubal was good but not the best ever.Also don’t ask about things I already know like, “oh rough dry hands”? Yeah, I know they are on my body, maybe I’m self conscious or sensitive, don’t bring up “things” about people’s bodies. Unless you are offering IV hydration therapy.Thought I would have the red sauna to myself, nope! They put me in with my friend which was ok, just not expected. And Even though my friends time was way before mine, another lack of communication and organization.Good practitioners, not a fancy or organized spa, could use some upgrades. Visiting so probably would try a different place next time.

I completely understand having a cancellation policy in place, but I f you book same day a couple hours before the appointment I feel like there should definitely be a grace period for you to cancel considering you do not have 24 hrs to cancel. I think it’s absurd to charge full price for canceling, I would completely understand a small inconvenience fee.

Michelle gave me a manicure and was probably the best one I have ever had. She’s a master! The whole experience at Spa Sasse is friendly, welcoming, relaxing and refreshing. A high end spa at reasonable prices where you can’t go wrong at this oasis, literally meaning a green area in an arid region, providing refuge, relief, and pleasant contrast.

Iqbal is amazing! He understands exactly the type of massage I need and I leave feeling relaxed and great after every massage with him. I’ve tried other places in Portland, but once I found Iqbal I stopped going anywhere else.

I had the “Crescendo” which is a full body massage (plus I added the extra honey massage…a must try!) followed by a hot oil rub, salt sprinkle rub and then a shower from multiple directions while lying face down on a massage table. It’s rad and fun and a sensory delight. And you can do it as a couples experience too! . Sasse has lots of rooms and offerings and everyone was light and friendly and down to earth. Felt well taken care of.I thought Sonia’s touch perfect! Buttery smooth, warm and nuanced. And really warm friendly playful energy and humor.

Perfect spot for girls weekend relaxation. We scheduled massages and pedicures and loved our experiences with all staff. Calm and clean facility.

My massage therapist was a man from India and he was phenomenal. I get massages regularly but this was one of the best ones Ive had, I was so relaxed I felt halfway between asleep and awake. Highly highly recommend him.

I dont usually share reviews. I was invited by wife for a special suprise. She took me to Spa Sasse for a Massage. I was greated by wonderful Man, his name is Iqbal. To describe him as Charming and Gifted would not give him justice. I have a real deep muscle pain in my neck and lower back. He not only addressed them with percise preassure and accuracy, I slept over 9 hours without sleepaids for the first time in 7 years. My wife was next after a little shoping at Nordstrom. She was hesitant because the preasurre I described he used on me. Shen then came out of his room with nothing the highest accaleds. We lived in Houston the last 10 years and never had she experienced this kind of treatment. We will be back. Thank you Spa Sasse for Iqbal.

Came here for the first time today for a massage and rain treatment (completely new to rain treatments but not massages). Katie was a wonderful massage therapist- attentive, intuitive, good pressure, and great communication about pressure, temperature, etc. She has a very warm, inviting energy and is super sweet. I felt tremendously more relaxed after my massage and my shoulders are feeling so much better. Headache is gone! The rain treatment was really cool and I thoroughly enjoyed the mix of sensations- warm oil, cool salt, lots of exfoliation, and a warm rinse with the jets. It felt like being wrapped up in a warm blanket of water. My skin is super soft now and my tattoos look way better too!

Absolutely phenomenal experience at Spa Sasse all around. Right when I walked in I felt comfortable - the spa is welcoming, clean, and the entire staff was kind. Although the real reason Ill keep coming back is for Riley.I booked a 90 minute facial and it was absolutely phenomenal. It had been a while since my last facial, so I went to the appointment specifically targeting extractions. Riley was kind, gentle, yet effective at extractions. She spent the time to be incredibly detailed, making me feel so clean and fresh!

This is an amazing spa. It looks funky from the street but once you come in off the street and you descend down into the spa you are transported into an oasis that is very easy to relax and enjoy. I highly recommend Tashi Chodon for your medspa needs. She is very talented and highly skilled. If youre local, I recommend becoming a platinum member(annual fee) which gives you and any guests 20% off.

Sonia was so sweet and relaxing-the best massage I’ve ever had. I booked for a one hour massage and I left feeling like a was made of clouds and immediately booked a second massage for twice as long. It’s difficult to explain but the way she massages really feels like she cares about you. 10/10 thanks Sonia.

Really enjoyed our morning here! I was really stressed out coming in but our massage therapists were wonderful in helping us relax. Sonia was so attentive and had some wonderful suggestions for me. My fiancé & I have seen Iqbal & Sonia several times now for couples massages.They are absolutely perfect.I require the pressure of a million boulders on my shoulders, and Iqbal is the first person who can not only deliver this intensity, but not leave any bruising whatsoever. Bonus - I have atrocious sinuses and am allergic to living. Iqbal actually incorporates a little aromatherapy and sinus based massage as well. I feel nearly human when I leave!My fiancé loves Sonia’s focused and careful approach very much as well!In other words, if y’all are thinking of going alone or with your significant other…do it. Grab your credit card, request Iqbal & Sonia, and go. Bonus if you’ve got a sense of humor. These two are actually just overall great human beings.Either way, whether you’d like to enter a state of total relaxation or experience sweet sweet relief from the pressure of a military tank in finger form, this is the place for you. We’ll be seeing these two every couple months as long as they work there.

Bought a couples 50 min massage. It was nice but I didn’t get nearly the same experience as my partner and not really sure I would come here again.

This place was amazing!! We did the facial with a cocoon mask with Michelle which was FANTASTIC! I could tell that she really cares about what she does. I then got a massage and hydrotherapy with Sonja. The massage was great and the hydrotherapy was beyond anything I’ve ever experienced. I was comfortable the whole time and came out feeling so smooth!! I then sat in the infrared sauna for a half hour which felt amazing. There was also a shower in the room so I was able to wash off excess oil and cool myself off. I then got a pedicure from both Robin and Michelle and it came out looking amazing. Lastly, Pax the coordinator made us feel welcome and comfortable and was so sweet! Don’t walk, run.. highly recommend this spa!!

I booked a last minute message and was absolutely delighted. Sonia was absolutely amazing. Knew exactly how to response to the tension is my body and made me feel brand new. I even got a mimosa when I was done. Can not recommend enough and I will be back. Thank you Sonia, you are amazing.

Ive been to Spa Sassé many, many times and its always a pleasure. The team is professional, kind, and has top notch service. I have done couple massages, single massages, and had the all day spa treatment. Ive been to a few med spas in the city and none of them have stacked up like Spa Sassé. You absolutely get what you pay for

I had the most wonderful experience being treated here after my auto accident. Iqbal is the best massage therapist I’ve ever worked with and I always left feeling so much better and so relaxed. I truly believe that his efforts were the reason I went from having headaches 6 days a week to experiencing them very infrequently. I will continue to see Iqbal even after my auto accident claim is over and I recommend him to anyone!

This salon is great, but my experience here was slightly strange.1) my masseuse walks out, and forgets my name and laughed it off (so did i)2) my masseuse walks into my room, tells me she doesn’t like the service I booked and wants to do a different type of massage (to which I agreed to, I wasn’t happy with the massage type I booked anyways)3) in the middle of my massage, she tells me she forgot to put the lock on her room and her boss may walk in?!?My gal was fantastic, but having my name forgotten, my service changed, and being told someone is going to walk in during my private service was a lot.

Omg! I cant even with this place! I got a massage and a salt scrub by Robin. First, best massage ever! But the salt scrub quite literally made me feel like a whole new person. Like your body is levitating while receiving salt scrub, while warm water jets hit you, while you are getting a massage ... unreal! The team was so warm and welcoming and so happy to help us and make extra appointments for us because we didnt want to leave. Thank you to the amazing team I feel more relaxed than I have in a long time! I genuinely cant wait to go back.

I was visiting Oregon to run the Smith Rock Ascent 50k trail race. After the race, I booked a 60min full body massage here (my wife did a lot of research and found Spa Sasse’ as the top choice). This was, hands down, the best massage I’ve received. My masseuse (Meg) consulted with me prior about any areas of focus and then gave me the best massage I’ve ever received. I wished I’d booked the 90min. After running a 50k, I felt like my tense muscle groups I wanted focus on were firmly tended to. If I lived here, I’d be back on the regular. Chef’s kiss. Five stars. Two thumbs up.

Sara and Michelle are wonderful people. I had a knot in my neck for about 5 years and Sara was able to take it out with relief. The aesthetic of the interior decor is relaxing before your massage. Id highly recommend to go in and pamper yourself with any service. Michelle is a wonderful person in providing excellent service in nails.

A beautiful spa hidden in downtown Portland! Meg was my LMT and I could not have been happier with her work. She was wonderful about listening to my needs before and during the massage. She was also gifted at finding tight knots or tense muscles and working them out when I didnt know they were there! Highly recommend both the business and Meg specifically.

Tashi is absolutely amazing!!! Ive done botox and lip filler with her so far and each time she has made me feel comfortable, warm, and relaxed. Ive had great results and will continue botox with her and even explore more options!

The salon was 15 minutes late opening and when they did open the masseuse wasnt even there. I requested a 110 minute massage but only received an 80 minute massage. Fortunately they did not charge me incorrectly for the time that was given. Iqbal Kana was my massage therapist and he did a wonderful job. The pressure was on point and so was the temperature. He was very professional and this is the best I have felt in a long while. He mentioned he has 30 years experience and it definitely showed.

I went last week for a Hydrafacial and it was a very unpleasant experience. The facial itself was nice and I appreciated the results, but my aesthetician, Michelle M., was not kind to me throughout the process and continually told me how bad my skin was. Im not offended by being told that I have skin issues, after all, I was there because I wanted to improve them and Im willing to hear about any issues so that I can address them. However, the way the information was being delivered was plain rude. The 30 minute treatment started with offhand comments that I could have brushed off. Halfway through, I was lying there wondering is she being rude right now or is this all in my head? but it escalated into just making me feel bad about myself. At one point she was saying that when she was learning the hydrafacial process, they taught her sometimes a second round of product is needed. She said I thought to myself, whos skin could be that poor? Well its you!. Ive had facials in the past and Ive never had someone make such harsh, unnecessary comments. On top of that, the only care instructions I was given were to get a deep moisturizer and she gave me a couple sample packets of products with very little description of when to use them or what they were for. I had really been hoping to discuss how to create a better everyday routine but she didnt talk about that with me and clearly hadnt read my intake form where I listed the products I normally use because she had to ask me if I use an eye cream. She told me it was a very busy day but I would still hope to receive the same personalized attention that you would get on a slower day. I was hoping to continue treatments every couple months but I dont know if I would return, the spa itself was nice and I really appreciated when the person at the desk got me a hot tea. It was unfortunate that the experience was ruined after that.

I booked an ultimate spa day for me and my sister. It started with a 30 minute hydrotherapy bath, then a 30 minute deep tissue massage with Robin. He was very in tune with body mechanics and he had me leaving the massage feeling 2 feet taller. Robin was great and very respectful! After that, he took me to the rain shower salt scrub exfoliation, which feeds all of your 5 senses. Then I had an 80 minute full body wrap and facial with michelle.. she was very attentive and explained everything as she was going. She was sweet and accommodating. Lastly, we got a pedicure from Robin and Michelle, Robin really focused on helping heal my sisters ankle that shes had issues with in the past. Michelle again was very sweet, easy to talk to, and attentive. Lastly, the coordinator Pax, is very sweet and will help anyone with anything they ask and she does it with a smile on her face. I appreciate everyone I encountered at Spa Sasse and highly highly highly recommend this place!

This place is fantastic! Ive had plenty of massages over the years, and Sonia and Lauren absolutely exceeded those experiences. They were both attentive to what we needed, hit the pressure points that we requested and we didnt want to leave! Thank you so much for the incredible experience!

Overall interesting experience. We booked the couples spa day, and the massage therapist who greeted us acted like we knew what to do? He left us in the sauna room without any instructions. The actual massage was very good. Then we had the rain shower treatment which was honestly kinda weird, i didnt really know what to expect but I would not do it again. I did not find it very relaxing at all, it felt like they were just spraying you with a hose. The place was pretty outdated and not exactly what i would call relaxing. Im giving it 3 stars because the actual massage was good but everything else was weird

My husband and I had a very relaxing 80-minute couples massage today with Eli and Ali. The ambience is very soothing and they have very nice amenities--table warmers and a thick blanket to start. I also appreciated that, though we paid for Swedish, we received services of additional value (hot stones and deep tissue work). Everyone was very friendly and professional.The only two things I would change are 1. the music was very repetitive and 2. either one or both of the therapists seemed to be wearing a fragrance, or maybe it was in the oil? It smelled like Angel perfume. It has stuck with us even after a shower. Im pretty sensitive to fragrances, so I would have preferred not to have that.Still a five-star experience though. Definitely worth it. Thanks so much!

Most amazing experience of my life.. my husband flew in from being home for work and surprised me with a spa day. We started out with a Hot jetted bath, then massage and topped it off with rain massage… great experience…The 2 people we got didn’t communicate very well but I didn’t let it ruin my amazing time..

After a long day of travel this was a real treat! Bonnie gave me one of the best massages of my life! She got our all my knots and gave me a truly individualized massage. She was friendly and checked in on me through the massage but wasn’t overly chatty which allowed me to decompress. If I ever find myself in Portland again I will certainly be visiting Bonnie again.

I booked a facial and massage for me and my husband to celebrate our anniversary. Despite corresponding via text with the salon that my husband wanted a female service provider when we arrived he was told it was a man. He asked to cancel since they didn’t have a female available and was told he would be charged 50%. So needless to say I then couldn’t also cancel my facial. So my husband left upset and I laid on the facial bed and cried through the entire thing. Super experience. Great customer service, make a mistake and charge your customer for it.

My partner and I got the Moonstruck Couples Massage, and it was fantastic. My massage therapist, Sonia, was sooooo good. Magical. My partner loved his massage therapist as well (I think Heidi). I have plans to return for another massage soon!

I searched for a spa that offered body wraps. Spa sasse did an excellent job with massage, wrap, facial, and spa pedicure. I also had the rain shower. Being from the pacific northwest, I failed to see the significance ;) But Im glad I did it once, it also comes with exfoliation and skin hydration.My fave was the massage. My shoulder pain is still gone over a week later.

I am a returning guest after an amazing experience coming in with my wife for our anniversary last year. I chose Spa Sasse to gift my best friend a birthday massage while I tried out the pedicure service. I was really excited to return and be a patron of this business again, but sadly was disappointed with my overall experience.If I were to rate my nail tech and the quality of the service I received for my spa pedicure, I would give 5 stars.The 3 stars reflect my frustration with how LOUD the woman in the lobby (who I shockingly found out later is the owner) was talking while I had my spa pedicure. The owner was meeting with some folks during business hours for a repair or upgrade to the front door. It was confusing why this entire loud conversation was taking place while paying customers were trying to have their relaxation in the pedicure chairs right there in the lobby area. The owner appeared very oblivious and would even yell from across the lobby, jolting me awake from my attempt to relax while getting my service done. The experience rubbed me the wrong way and it may be some time before I’ll return.

Spa Sasse is my favorite spa to date. The staff and therapists have always been professional and courteous. The establishment is beautiful and immaculate. They provide a wide array of services. The Vichy shower is one of the most incredible experiences. I will most certainly recommend to friends and am very much looking forward to my next visit.

We bought a romantic package with, champagne, rose petals and chocolate truffles. The problem was however the stay with not at all romantic.Before and after the massage we were in a public room. I would have expected a private room for a romantic package. The public room was not romantic and the flower petals were fake. Another major complaint is after the massage when we were supposed to have our Truffles and champagne we were placed in a waiting room with other people. We also had to wait an extraordinary long time for the champagne after the massage. We did not get the champagne until we had to ask multiple times when it was coming.For the cost of a package I would have expected much better service and better treatment.The only redeeming factor was that the massage itself was good however the overall atmosphere was God awful and extremely awkward with some if the staff.

I herniated my L5-S1 almost 2 years ago and have had a difficult time getting symptom relief. I went in for a 1.5 hour couples massage, and all I can say is WOW! Robin Lyons, my massage therapist, brought me a level of pain reduction that I haven’t experienced since my injury. I cannot recommend Robin and Spa Sasse’ enough. All the staff were kind, the physical space was tasteful and relaxing, 10/10!

I came here on referral to get a general health appointment with Dr. Kathleen Kuhn and was so amazed! She gave such great care in precise and powerful feedback across almost every aspect of my health. Ive already had a follow up and already feel so much more confident about my health decisions. Definitely the best experience with a naturopath that Ive had.

Just what I needed after traveling cross-country with two little kids! haha I had a Lomi Lomi massage with Robin and it was fantastic. From the moment I walked into the spa, my stress dissipated and I felt refreshed afterwards. The ambiance in the waiting room is very tranquil with low-lighting, etc. I highly recommend and will definitely be returning next time Im in the city!

Staff are nice. This is not handicap accessible if thats something you need (the business is down more than 15 stairs from the street). On street parking is difficult near this business, there is a parking garage super close though. Masks are required for staff and clients. Be prepared to ask for exactly what you want (If you are looking for nail corners, callous removal, ect...). My 1st visit nail corners were not addressed so I had to do it when I got home. Callous removal was done but when I got home I discovered the service was poor and had to do that also. I had set up a second appointment at the end of my first visit and unfortunately forgot to cancel it and didnt want to be charged so I went. I had to ask for nail corners to be addressed and it was uncomfortable, callous removal wasnt done. I wouldnt return nor recommend for pedicure services. I have no experience with any other services this business offers.

We came to visit Portland this weekend and I received a massage from Sara Sasse. I have plantars faciitis and she tailored my massage using stretching techniques, hot stone, and deep tissue. My body feels amazing and my feet feel like they are brand new. I highly recommend coming here. I will definitely be back when I come to visit again!

I was looking forward to this massage all weekend to end my Bachelorette weekend on a relaxing note, unfortunately I was very disappointed. My mom and sister had great massages but my massage with Bonnie was not good at all! She could tell I was not satisfied and said she would see what she could do... The facial she gave me was great. At the end I was given a free candle to somehow make up for the worst massage Ive had that cost a pretty penny. While I appreciate the gesture, it does not make up for paying for a massage and getting a lotion treatment.

The service was great from Kristi and Tashi.A note to customers that if you are signing up to be a model for someone training on a new skill, be patient and allow for extra time. Robin is a miracle worker! I have several herniated/bulged disks and haven’t found anybody else who can do what Robin does to relieve my symptoms. The atmosphere is relaxing and clean and the staff are all great. 11/10 would recommend!

They really need an update. Very dated and not relaxing. Reminds me of a Las Vegas styled spa. The massage I received was good but I didn’t feel like it was clean enough in the spa. Too many decorative and soft furnishings that had dust on them to make me feel comfortable with the overall cleanliness of the place.

Ive been coming here for almost 2 months and regularly use a variety of services. Alicia does my facials, marine contour body wraps, and radio frequency body treatments. I could not be happier because the technology is advanced and effective. I use their Phytomer and Eminence products, and bought more than 12 items for face and body, because they are highly rated, and again, effective. From the moment I used their testers on display I could see results. I noticed that many people come here for massages, so I started getting massages from Eli (pronounced Eee-lie) and she is excellent. She has done massages for Portland Trail Blazers and takes pride in her work. She helped me understand that a Deep Tissue massage does not mean that you should feel like youve been run over by a truck--so if you have been hesitant like me because you think Deep Tissue will hurt, dont be. There are so many massages to choose from on the menu that there is something for everyone. What I love about my services here is that everything contributes to a healthy lifestyle, and I can tell that my overall health and well-being has been elevated from the inside out, which is what I think a good spa should do for you. I became a member of the spa, which has saved a lot of money on services, and I get a discount on products.

Love this place!!! The ambiance is very relaxing. Soft background music plays and you can always hear water trickling down the water feature. It located next to rite and downtown you take a set of stairs down under the street level and it like you entered a cave of beauty and rest. They offer many services including laser hair removal and prices are competitive. Highly recommended.

Recently went in for Coolsculpting, and the woman who worked with me, Alicia, was an absolute joy. She was patient, attentive, and knowledgeable about the procedure. She did everything to make sure I was comfortable throughout the whole process - bringing me tea, checking in on me, etc. The atmosphere is very relaxing and the location is just steps away from a convenient parking garage. They offer great deals, too.

Our experience was amazing! We got the ultimate couples package. It started with the best bubble bath imaginable. Next we had perfectly detailed coustom massages for each of us. They were so kind and really cared about giving us the best experience possible. I felt so melted and euphoric afterwards. They offer complimentary truffles and biscuits. The atmosphere was incredibly tranquil. You felt relaxed just walking into there facility. We also had the salt scrub and rain theropy. Let me tell you if your looking for one of a kind show experience do the rain therapy! Hot oil and salt scrubs leaves your skin incredibly soft renewed and invigorated. Everyone was so helpful and kind. The tea was also very good! For whatever price they offer its worth every moment! We didnt want to leave. But dreams dont last forever unfortunately. It was pure Bliss.

Beware of this cheap spa! I purchased a Groupon and received a decent facial from a nice lady. I wanted to support this local business and a full paying customer so I quickly booked a massage while leaving the spa.I was surprised they took the payment 1 month in advanced but I figured it would force me to take the time to take care of myself. As life goes, I missed the appointment, ironically enough the Esthetician had car troubles that day as well. I figured it would be a simple reschedule but much to my surprise when I was called I was informed of their no show policy for the first time.I was charged in full for the services I never received with out any notice.After reading through others reviews I realize the owner of this business is pretty shiesty and knows exactly what shes pulling on her customers with insane policies like charging someone $130 for missing an appointment.

I had a Groupon for massage and facial. The facility is very outdated and cold. I had to stuff all of my clothes into a garmet bag they provided instead of the usual locker rooms. The massage was below average and she was very new to massage which I would not expact from a place like this. I was freezing cold the whole time and when I asked for more blankets, I got a luke warm towel. The facial was average but quick. I was disapointment with my whole experience there and would not recommend nor return for any services.

I bought a package of 6 lipo caviation treatments on grouping for $357 (the original price is $780). First of all, on my first appointment the girl who did my treatment didnt introduce herself. On my second appointment, the girl at the front desk lacked any customer services. She never greet me, only barked someone be right with you. On that day, Carli (she did my 2nd treatment) was 15 minutes late! This is unacceptable in a spa industry! I have never been to a spa where your therapist/aesthetician is late. Ok, maybe 5 mins late because of the appointment with another costumer, but I booked my appointment in the am, right when they open. Carli wasnt professional at all as well, no greeting, no introduction. She didnt even apologize for being late. The only way I knew her name was that the previous girl who did my first treatment told me that. Also, my sauna time was 10 minutes less than it was supposed to be.Second of all, the machine that they use is CHEAP! I searched on the internet and found out that it costs $250-300!!!!! And they want to charge $780 for six treatments ?! Thats a joke!Third, the place is dark, cold, and outdated. It needs to be remodeled. Sofas are horrible, even sitting on the sofa for 2 mins hurt my back.Fourth, there is no locker? They give you a garment bag? And there robes are old, with yellowish discoloration. Kind of make your nervous if you get some sort of skin infection after wearing it.Conclusion,AVOID THIS PLACE!There are much better spas in Portland metro area.

The spa is warm and relaxing with a welcoming staff. In the past two months Tiffany has been massaging me. Shes found the root cause of several musculoskeletal problems that a chiropractor couldd resolve. She did. Ive had pain in my right thumb joint for years that I thought was a joint problem. A hand surgeon agreed. Just had a massage. She honed in on some muscle and facia problems in my arm. Im back at my office.....pain gone . Shes awesome.

This is an amazing place to spend the day, went in for their couples spa day package, the bath was perfect and very romantic, the massage was literally out of this world both me and my wife loved it. The cherry on top of it all was the vichi shower treatment i have never felt anything as awesome as that. You seriously have to try it.The spa is in downtown Portland but you would never be able to tell, this really is as the owners portray an oasis of calm in the heart of the city, Just remember to turn your cell phones off so you arent as embarrassed as i was when mine went off :) the music is very relaxing and the lighting was perfect.Thank you Spa Sasse for making my three year anniversary perfect!

Lauren was amazing & gave such an incredible massage. This place is the perfect getaway in the city for a place to relax and pull back. Staff was so friendly and welcoming. Definitely will be visiting again.

This place is very professional. I have gotten great results with the Cool Sculpting. I would highly recommend it. I had my double chin treated; which is an impossible place to reduce on your own. I had 2 treatments.It has been only a few months and the area continues to reduce. I may opt in for one more on the chin and then the love handle will be the next project.If you are hesitant to try this because so many other treatments out their claim to reduce fat, dont be. This works!!!!

Fantastic service! My husband got a swedish massage and fell asleep during. I got a foot massage and sat in a massage chair. I also had a few cat naps. We will return when we can. As far as parking goes we parked across the street at the parking garage.

Ive been around the world and this has it beat. Ive never been so relaxed and had every spot hit with such expertise. I would think...hit that spot...and it was hit as if they could read my mind. My wife was 6 months pregnant and had several before that were alright. This time she had a regular message and the gentleman was responsive and she received the best message shes ever had. If only we lived closer to Portland.

If you are going for their infrared sauna, dont.I will start this off by saying I have a thyroid disease so I sweat much easier than the average person. Therefore, I was surprised when I was barely sweating within 15 minutes of the sauna session.So I go an ask the front desk and they come to check it and say well good news is that the infrared does not need high ambient heat. Yes, this is true. Normal saunas run around 150-200 but infrared saunas can run from 110-150 with giving you the same, and some claim to be far better results.My phone has an internal thermostat so I decided to actually see what the sauna temperature was at. Not to my surprise my phone says 85 degrees Fahrenheit! I sat around waiting for it to warm up because maybe it took a minute, but after 45 minutes I decided to not waste anymore time.I tried to tell the front desk that something was wrong in their sauna but they kept telling me you dont have to sweat to get the affects of the infrared. Infrared saunas operate at a lower temperature because they uses the infrared rays to heat the body from within rather than using the air surrounding the person. That is why infrared saunas dont need a higher temperature.I understand not knowing the inner workings of an infrared sauna, but why keep insisting to me that I dont need to sweat when the only way to detox in a sauna is to sweat? Infrared rays dont magically make you feel better, you have to sweat out toxins. I cant believe I have to explain that to a spa.

The Vichy Shower is an ABSOULTE MUST! My massage therapist, Michael, did an amazing job!I went to my chiroprator the day after my massage and he commented on my energy, stating that in all the years I have seen him I have never been so relaxed.

I had a gift certificate valued at $1500 that I purchased at an auction for a lot of money and it expired 04/2020. The spa was closed since March because of COVID so I called several times and left voicemails since it said that the messages would be checked periodically, nobody ever called me back. I called last week to explain the situation and asked how I could redeem my certificate, an employee told me that she would talk to the owner Sara and call me back.She called me back today Monday November 16th and said that I could not use my certificate since it had expired. I requested to please talk to the owner.The owner of the spa Sasse (Sara) called me and very rudely told me that she backed what her employee has told me and that I could not use my certificate. When I asked her to please consider the situation, she told me to “be happy that the money I had paid helped children in need but I couldn’t use my certificate” and she also very rudely told me “ I don’t have time for this, I got to go” and she hung up.This is not how you do business, so avoid this place at all cost!
