The greatest gay bar in providence with an iconic interior with rich wood details & undeniable character. extensive beverage options & affordable bar snacks. staff & patrons were wonderful
So hard to get service here. You have to practically yell, and wave to get a bartenders attention because they wont stop talking to their favorites, and thats after making eye contact with them too.
This place has strong drinks! The music here is more queer pop/hip-hop, and the pool table costs but tends to be super friendly, not to mention the good space around it. The staff here have been low-key in a welcoming way. There are two bathrooms. The ladies bathroom has two smaller stalls, one large stall and two sinks, with a giant mirror on wall opposite the sinks. The mens bathroom has two urinals, a large stall and three sinks with a similar mirror. There is a barrier between the urinals and the sinks, so more privacy and less glances, if thats a concern. All genders seem to use both bathrooms, which is fine. Bathrooms are near the bar, so staff is near-by.The patio is a couple of tables on the sidewalk along the building, and maybe a half a dozen chairs.Thursday night karaoke with a contest for a partially paid bar-tab! This place has way more dance floor than some other queer bars, and also has more casual seating, too. There is decent lighting in the main area and club lighting on the dance floor.
Worst place I have ever been. So many problems. First the bar thinks its a club but cant pull in the numbers. I have been three times now. Each time was dead with maybe 5 people. The owner or whatever the old guy serving drinks is, was rude everytime. Clearly doesnt care about making money. Or trying to build his customer base. While trying to get a drink I was ignored in favor of the skinny pretty boy. The only people there seemed strung out. Will not be returning, I believe in giving chances and this place lost all three. This place should be shut down or new management.
Went here with one of my clients- mostly gay men. Place smelled horrible. The DJ was not helpful to the performers and made them sound horrible. The people were nice and friendly. Wouldn’t go again. Kinda trashy.
Went on a sunday night with my girlfriend thinking it’d be a good time to go. walked in and it was only older people, the old men at the bar looked at us and laughed at us when we sat. left immediately. wasnt any music or dancing :( hoping i just came on a bad night
Not many lesbians, mostly gay men. Drinks are cheap and made well. Music is good. Staff is awesome. We just need to get some ladys in there!
Staff has been there a long time and make everyone feel comfortable! Dedicated hard working people like Robby and Jack create things to get people in the door and are attentive to all.
Went in straight, left a little BI. Might come again 😅
Fun and nice bar but nothing will ever compare to their amazing previous location. Too bad it was torn down for a parking structure. Mirabar will always have a special place in my heart. Xoxo
Now this I thought was a nice spot. I sat at the bar and didn’t get rushed up on which I liked. It was a chill spot I would go back to. 5 stars.
When you walk into the bar its smells like a dirty old rug unfortunately in the music Talent was very good however way too loud to the point where they gave me a headache they should have put the music in the back of the restaurant bar and it took me forever to get the bartenders attention to get a drink and there were only a few people even at the bar very not interested in coming back but thank you for the experience
Great place, friendly bar staff, say hi to Jack. The best bartender. Always a great time..
