I truly cannot recommend Gina and the G salon enough. The first time I saw her I was growing out over-processed hair from some awfully done highlights. My hair was unevenly colored, overworked, and damaged in some areas. Before booking, Gina had me come in for a consultation to meet me, assess my hair, and figure out a game plan for how to rework my color and fix the damage. She was incredibly thorough and took the time to explain exactly how she’d approach my hair to get it back to where I wanted it. The final result is absolutely flawless, and I am so grateful to Gina for saving my hair. She is professional, personable, and so incredibly talented. She was meticulous and so detail oriented when it came to the coloring and cutting/styling of my hair, and it really shows in the final product. Everyone at the G salon has been so kind and welcoming and I’m so lucky to of found them. I’d give them 10 stars if I could!!!

The G Salon and Spa was the best experience I’ve had at a hair salon in a long time. They were great, honest and efficient. They helped me immensely get to the hair style and color that I’ve wanted to get to for awhile.Such a lovely and fun environment to be a client in, and take advantage of their extensive knowledge of products and treatments. I would suggest this Salon to everyone in the Providence vicinity.Definitely a 10/10 from me.

I am beyond impressed with my experience here, between Gina’s expertise and the care offered by the other salon staff. My hair was unfortunately botched at another salon, leaving me with a hideous shade of bright orange. Instead of making any promises over the phone without meeting in person (like many other salons I called), Gina took the time to consult with me, look at my hair, give me a realistic idea of what she could do, and instructions on how to prepare my hair before my appointment for the best possible outcome. Between her coloring expertise and knowledge of my hair type, I trusted her immediately and knew waiting the few weeks for my appointment would be well worth it. Vinny, who is wonderful, carefully spent hours bringing my hair back to life with the close collaboration of Gina, who checked in with us every few minutes to make sure the process was going according to her individualized plan for my hair. I felt so cared for with all three staff members at the salon looping each other in on my hair’s progress throughout the appointment and reassuring me. I am not just relieved, but thrilled to have my hair back to looking truly beautiful. Thank you Gina and Vinny for being so kind, attentive, and working your magic!

I do not have enough words to describe how much I love Gina, Dyvia and all the staff at the G Salon and Spa. I have know Gina since I was 18yrs old and I will be 50 this summer.I have moved to other states and whenever I am anywhere where I can have Gina do my hair, this is where I go. I have followed her to many different locations. You will always feel listened to and know that your hair will look and feel amazing when you leave the Salon. Absolutely Wonderful! I have just had one of the best haircut experiences ever. I am so glad that i made an appointment here! Gina took extra good care of me. She took the time to understand my hair type and how I would style it, and make sure I knew what I wanted and what was possible with my hair type. I’m a vegan and was so glad to know that they use more natural and chemical-free products here. I am allergic to perfume scents and the salon had little to no smell from hair products because of this. She took her time cutting my hair and made sure even after it was done to triple check to make small detail changes to make my hair look better. I’m definitely making this my permanent place 😄 Thanks to all the staff there I felt very welcome and they were so fun to be around!

Vinn is a gem and does it all!! Hes dyed my hair, given me scissor cuts, clipper cuts, razor work, and every time I leave so happy with what hes done. Its hard to find someone who has barbering skills and technical skills as a stylist, and I cannot sing his praises enough as a one stop shop for an amazing end result.

Every experience at Ginas salon is a good one. Not only did she do wonders to my hair but the energy in the salon is always good. She knows how to work with long curly hair and is diligent in ensuring you achieve the style you want.

First off, let me say I am extremely picky about who does my hair. I have medium to long curly hair, and I get a Brazilian Blowout every 4-6 months, which is well worth it to me. Without the treatment, it takes me about an hour to blow dry, and straighten my hair to my liking. With the treatment, it maybe takes me 15 minutes. Well worth the price, if you ask me.Having just moved to Rhode Island from Florida, I was extremely nervous about finding someone amazing to trust with my hair. I went online and looked up the best rated salon, an establishment that had been in Providence for decades. I went and had an extremely disappointing experience. While everyone there was nice, it was clear that the stylist had not had an updated training in a while, and that caused the treatment to last only about a month. I was reluctant to try again and I really wondered if I should make a trip down to Florida to see my hairstylist.Then, I read online about the G Salon! I called, and Divya answered the phone. It was truly fate! She took my appointment down, and I went to see her a few weeks later. I explained all of my concerns and described the lackluster experience I had at the other salon. She was so knowledgeable and really took her time to make sure I had the perfect experience! I was so happy with how my hair turned out! One of the best blowouts I had ever had. I couldn’t stop talking about how wonderful she was. Her precision to detail, ensure that the treatment lasted the full amount of time. I went back last month to see her again, and had just as pleasant of an experience, with the same wonderful results! I highly recommend booking an appointment at G Salon and asking for Divya. Not only is she a skilled professional in her field, she is extremely personable and makes you feel like you are chatting with an old friend. I am a forever client.

My Pandemic hair is a complicated project so I only trust Gina and the team at G Salón and Spa to manage it. They are an amazing group of professional and incredibly talented women working magic!!

G Salon is a true gem! 💎As a long-haired hippie, its been tough to find someone able to tackle my beached out waves. I am low maintenance to say the least, and enjoy my long layers but have trust issues with many stylists after several disasters and mostly just blah cuts. After extensive Virgo research and reading wonderful reviews, I booked an appointment.I was hyped to have my hair cut by the owner, G. She was such a wealth of knowledge—not only on the actual cutting and shaping of my hair, but the holistic end of it, too. She shared gems of essential tips on scalp health and exactly what nutrients my particular strands were in need of. G really is a master of her craft—that elusive perfect haircut is now mine 🦄 and I feel like Ive finally found a stylist who GETS my hair! Oh, and did I mention the head massage?! Sooo relaxing I almost fell asleep in the chair. Providence has a million salons but only a handful of true masters of their craft. G is IT!

My hair color and style from another salon a few months back were awful so I wanted an excellent hairstylist to “fix” both. I am so glad I went to Gina, and can’t be grateful enough to her. Thank you to her customers who raved in Google reviews about her talent and science in hair cutting and styling. They were accurate. She listened patiently and explained everything which she thought was wrong, what she could and couldn’t fix, and how she would go about it before starting. It made me feel heard and involved. She cut exactly as I requested, not an inch more, and she cut the style I wanted. The next day she coloured my hair exactly like the picture I showed. This was the opposite experience that I had had with my previous hairstylist who had preferred to color my hair a vastly different color from what I had asked!Gina did an excellent job with the cut and color, far better than what I had expected… so I left feeling incredibly happy and confident with my new hairstyle!Divya also did an excellent job with threading and the base color of my hair!The environment was a very happy and friendly one and I can’t wait to go back again :))

Gina is AMAZING! She has done an amazing job on my hair color and cut. Finding a solid hair dresser who is reliable, personable, friendly and funny is not easy! Best first date I’ve been on and the shampoo with the head massage is like its own little happy ending! I highly recommend this salon!

If you want to have your hair done by a true artist you have to go to Gina. She is not your average hairdresser! She is smart, articulate, gives her clients 100% attention and care. She really knows hair from a science point of view to what cut and style would look best on you. Her sense of color is remarkable and she will explain everything to you in layman’s terms. She is patient and she truly wants you to know your hair!Both Divya and Vinnie, who also work at the salon, are also creative, talented and really care about their clients.This salon is a must!!!!

After not doing much of anything with my hair for basically a decade, I had my first appointment here with Gina on 6/17 for a full balayage and I am SO glad I did!! From the beginning Gina and her staff were so accommodating and wonderful to talk with. It is clear they have a full understanding of their craft and take pride in their work. It was a comfortable atmosphere where I felt like I could ask questions and received well informed answers, and I also loved being around people who knew how to laugh when life throws something funny at you. I definitely recommend stopping by for their services, and if youre not sure what you want, they do offer 15 minute consultations (which is what I did and it really really helped with the process of figuring out exactly what I wanted!) It has been one week since I had the absolute pleasure of visiting Gina at G Salon and I am STILL in love with my new hair. Gina is a master of her craft with a wealth of knowledge. She listened to my concerns and within minutes put me at ease and knew exactly what I was looking for and what I was looking to accomplish. Gina took her time, explained every step of her plan and brought new life to my hair. The cut was perfection and Ive never loved a color more than what she came up with. Her team, Divya and Vinnie, are equally talented. You can tell they all work well together and enjoy what they do. I felt like Id been a client forever when I sat down and I felt like a new women when I left the salon. Amazing, I cannot wait for my next visit to see what Gina comes up with next.

Amazing! I was seeking a salon who uses Davines (high quality hair product) and I discovered G Salon. Life-changing, Gina is a hair expert. Wanting a super short cut, Gina took on the challenge and perfected the look I desired. I love my hair! When I ask, Gina gives me tips which helps when styling my own hair at home. When starting the process of going short, Gina explained what she was doing and why which I appreciated to get a better understanding of my hair. Besides her expertise, Gina has a great personality which makes me look forward to my visits.In addition to hair, I started to have Divya take care of my eyebrow threading, which I had never done before but glad she convinced me. She’s also a joy to be around. I just love it here! Small, non-smelly, unpretentious. Good people. Great service.

To ensure that you get the very best results, the stylists will often consult with the owner, Gina, who has been in the industry for 30 years. Gina runs a top-notch, professional salon where all are warmly welcomed and appreciated. I have never left this salon without getting the results I expected, or without a smile on my face!

Was looking for a basic trim and was able to walk in for an appointment after calling the morning of! My hair is thick and in pretty bad condition (very bleached) but Vinny was great at letting me how how cutting/styling would affect the way itd shape out. Really appreciate the time they set out and how welcoming the space was for newcomers. There arent too many walkable hair salons around campus area so I recommend if you are looking for a hair change and dont know which ones to visit!

Gina and her crew here are just amazing. We called and spoke to Divya, who was able to quickly schedule us in on a Sunday! From start to finish, the experience was just superb. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and they take their time with clients consultation focusing on educating their clients on healthy options to achieve their hair goals. My hairs has never looked so good and healthy. Divya my hair stylist is the best! They make always make you feel welcome. Not to mention the great day threading memberships.

I have been going to see Gina and her team since my wedding 7 years ago. I was looking for a natural looking extension to add volume to my thin hair. Gina promised that I would not be disappointed. She was right. I now have my extensions, Brazilian blowout, cut and color with Gina. I have since moved to Boston and make the drive for each appointment. It is worth it. There is no one better at personalized service and hair care than Gina and her whole team. Thanks to them all!!!

The owner and all her staff are absolutely amazing!!!! I went into the salon thinking I wanted one thing and leaving with something totally different!!!! I never go on a make reviews but they deserve the time!!!! Besides Gina and all the girls Vinny was the sweetest as well!!!!! All so kind hearted and totally skilled at what they do and I truly mean that!!!! You are treated with respect from start to finish and after!!!! I have thick, curly, ethnic hair so Im cautiously optimistic about selecting a stylist because my hair is challenging to work with. Divya did an amazing job! She worked quickly and used a bristle brush that made my hair so straight and shiny that it looked like it had already been flat ironed! I plan to use this salon regularly. The cocktail bar in the hotel lobby is an added bonus!

The best haircuts I’ve ever gotten in my entire life. As a guy, I’ve had a ton of trouble finding someone to cut my hair well. Vinn is a master craftsman when it comes to hair. He listens to what you want and makes it happen even better than expected. I travel all the way from Boston to this salon in Providence just for my haircuts. This salon has a strong family energy — all incredibly welcoming. They also cut the hair of many people in the Providence community so they have their thumb on the pulse of the city. The staff at this salon is very friendly and professional. I truly love this place! I’ve been doing my eyebrows with Divya Bista for a long time and I’m always satisfied with her work. A $10/month membership and you can get your eyebrows threaded as many times as you want per month. Trust me, you will not find this deal anywhere else. The threading membership at The G Salon is the most unbelievable deal; Divya and her colleagues are excellent, and I have friends and family who live across the US who always ask to see them for threading when they visit.

This is THE place to get your Certified Brazilian Blowout! It is great for people who have frizzy hair in the humidity because it relaxes and smoothes your texture. I call it the fountain of youth for hair!

I just left the spa one hour ago it was my 1st time ever getting a deep tissue massage. Any massage for that matter. My massage therapist was named Beth ,wow, what a lot of work they do, God-bless them . Ask for Beth ,she was fan tastic
