Great local option for massages at more affordable prices than others in the area. Have been here multiple times with multiple staff and always had a great experience. Not high end luxury per se, but exactly what I want. They offer memberships with discounts too, though it’s not something I’ve tried personally. LGBTQ+ inclusive.

This is a lovely little spa, and the atmosphere here is calming. I got a facial here a couple years ago and it was one of the best I’ve gotten in the city. The prices are a BIT much however. And you’re encouraged to get a membership to save some coins. If not, it’s best as a once in a while treat. The rooms are clean and well decorated and the staff were very welcoming. I can’t wait to be back for their other services.

Would recommend for a regular massage experience, however would suggest finding another spot if going for a prenatal massage. My husband booked this massage for me and I was pretty excited because back pain has been pretty constant. When asked about what brought me in, I shared this area of concern. Unfortunately I was laid on my back for the entirety of the massage, which is not an ideal position as a pregnant person and also meant my back was not touched. Even trying to get out of the bed at the end of the session on my own was difficult for me and left me feeling embarrassed. In hindsight, I should have done more research to see what supports and level of experience the spa had. Again, I think this is a great spa for those who are not pregnant, but more could be done to ensure comfort for those who are.

I can not recommend this spa enough! I had the signature facial and body treatment with Kim and it is by far the most relaxing experience I have ever had. She was wonderful and definitely an expert in her craft. She was extremely knowledgeable about products that would work for my skin concerns. The spa itself is gorgeous and smells out of this world. The girls at the front desk were super nice and welcoming. I will definitely be back!

The best of the best! Evolve’s owner is the sweetest, the staff is extremely friendly, and the products are amazing! Everyone is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I get regular facials with Heather and I could not be happier! My skin has never looked better. I always leave feeling relaxed and well taken care of! I love this shop for gifts for my friends and family too! I cannot recommend Evolve enough!

Excellent experience! Ive had multiple services here including massages and facials. Everytime i have left feeling refreshed and renewed. The people here are great and provide high quality professional services while making you feel very comfortable. Also a great place to pick up skin care products as they carry something for every type of skin. Guiding you in the right direction for exactly what you need. They educated me on what i need for my skin and my skin care routine has forever change. I truly believe there is something here for everyone and highly recommend to anyone looking for a great spa experience. True professionals👌

This past Saturday, I scheduled a last minute massage at Evolve for 2:45pm. Before arriving, I tried to fill out the intake form to no avail. I showed up 15 minutes before my scheduled massage so that I had enough time to complete the form. After standing in line for five minutes, one of the staff members brought me upstairs and helped me complete the intake form. It took 5 minutes before the massage therapist greeted me. I got changed and waited on the table for another 5 minutes. The massage started at 3pm. While I was getting dressed, I noticed that she has stopped at 2:45pm. The massage was only 45 minutes, but the MT instructed me that I had to pay for one hour. I explained to her that I showed up 15 minutes ahead of my scheduled time. My wife is a licensed MT at an exclusive RI CC, so I know how these things work. If I had showed up late, I would just owned it and went about my day. She did not seem to care and told me that I had to pay for the entire hour. When I went to pay, I asked to speak with the owner. She was not present, so the staff at the front desk called her. The cost for the massage was $120 for an hour. The owner told her staff to give me a $15 credit which I felt was not sufficient because they were still charging me an extra $15 for a service that I never received. The massage was decent, but the overcharging for a service that I never received left a bad taste in my mouth. If you do book a massage here, pay attention to the clock. Id also recommend showing up 15 minutes early, even though that did not help case at all. Some of the staff were very professional and friendly, while others where inline with owners mantra...overcharge customers for services that were not rendered. Very bad experience overall. Too many other local spas that will give you what you paid for.

Just got back from my express facial with Lexie. I LOVED it. Felt much longer than 30 minutes in a good way. Lexie was so calm and friendly. Not to mention the space is beautiful! I love that I was not pressured into buying products either. Will be coming back soon! ♥️

I just had my first facial at Evolve and had a wonderful experience. Brianna was knowledgeable, kind, and gave me one of the most relaxing facials I have ever had. I can’t recommend booking with her enough, as she was the reason that my experience was so great. Can’t wait to go back!

I’m a newbie at facials and spa treatments and always feel nervous going in- the lovely women at Evolve were so kind and welcoming- the space is clean, beautifully decorated and smells like the word “calm” if it was an aroma. Heather did an amazing job with my facial, not only did I get an amazing facial and massage, but I also got tons of helpful tips for my skin. I’ll be coming here regularly, couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Really unhappy with my brazillian wax. Two days later and I’m still experiencing irritation, swelling, redness, and bumps even though I followed the aftercare protocol. I expected some hair to be left over but there is a good amount left. Also, majority of the hair broke off rather than being pulled out, leaving no smoothness. I get better results shaving. The appointment was extremely quick and because of that, a thorough job was not done.

I LOVE EVOLVE! I usually get the 30 minute express facial. Their carefully curated skincare and makeup lines are the only thing I will ever use now. Everyone is so nice and knowledgeable and they have great recommendations. I have yet to bring home a product that I didnt immediately notice a difference with.

This was my first time here and I was delighted. I got the signature facial and massage and it was wonderful. I was with Alexis and she was wicked nice and explained what she was doing for my skin which was nice. I definitely plan to come back (:

Wonderful products and service! I had my make up done for my anniversary and Sue did an amazing job, she really brought out my best features. The products were also great, my face felt very light even though several products were applied. I highly recommend Evolve.

I had a wonderful experience at Evolve Apothecary! I worked with owner, Sue to clear up a pretty bad skin issue stemming from an allergic reaction. Under her guidance and knowledge of her products, my skin began healing immediately!! Sue is kind, genuine and reassured me that my skin would heal and it did! Needless to say, I will buy my skincare and makeup products here!

Covid didnt make it easy for a soon to be bride to try and figure out what to do to enjoy a fun day with some of my girls. Evolve over exceeded my expectations in every aspect. My Bachelorette Spa Day was such a big hit. Not one girl didnt come out with a bigger smile and more relaxed then when they went in. They were extremely accommodating all while making sure my special day was safe. From the bottom of my heart thank you to Amy, Alexis and the whole staff of beautiful women that made this day memorable.P.S. I went back not too long ago for a Espresso body scrub, and Brazilian by Xiomara before the big day. I left feeling on cloud 9. The scrub left my skin smooth and shiny and the Brazilian was the most efficient and painless. I highly recommend To support this local business. They will over exceed your expectations. Dont wait to book a wonderful spa day!

Just walking in to Evolve is relaxing. It smells delicious and the skin care and gift items are treasures. I go in every few weeks for eyebrow waxing and I am ALWAYS tempted to leave with a gift for me or someone else!

Today was my second time here. The first time I came and was referred via Groupon for a special they had going at the time. The service (Brazilian wax) was performed by Stephanie. It was a wonderful experience. I started looking at places closer to home but nothing compared to the quality wax and services they provided. Second time back today and I dont understand why anyone would go anywhere else. Steph is awesome,quick and efficient.

I started going here to get waxed by Steph Kaminski back in December 2019, and continued both before the pandemic and after the pandemic. I kept going back to her because prior to there did not seem to be an aesthetician in the Providence metro area (aka RI and nearby MA) that could remember to NOT put stuff on my face after a wax which I realized made me break out every single time and was very clear in communicating to each person I tried. I was certainly not expecting people to remember from visit to visit, and reminded them at the beginning of each visit, but Steph is literally the only professional that was able to remember this. It sounds small, but I feel like this is a big deal when you are working closely with peoples bodies. Though I do not partake any more in the more intimate waxing procedures like Brazilians, I would highly recommend Steph for that since she is also very friendly and comfortable to be around. She she is very self aware yet un-self conscious which is a great combo of traits for someone in this line of work, so you should definitely go see her! Online scheduling is very easy, and so is parking on or near Hope St., so there is really no excuse!

This is my go to place for facials. Amy and the rest of the staff is amazing, they use and sell the best products, and the atmosphere is lovely. I also recommend their waxing services and massage!

Too much personal information requested for a simple eyebrow waxing on the intake form. I did not like my eyebrows waxing results. However, the atmosphere and the team was nice.

One word: WOW! I have been looking for a store like this for ages. I have VERY sensitive skin and I was looking for a product that would accommodate that. When I went in, the store staff were not only friendly but also very knowledgable about their products. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for more natural / less chemical based skincare.

Amy gives a phenomenal facial. Nice selection of Rhode Island-made herbal beauty products. Especially like the bulk cleaning supplies and green spa membership program.

Xiomara is the BEST! As an esthetician myself, she sets the bar high when it comes to communication, sanitation, and speed! I always feel brand new after a wax with her. I recieve the full brazilian wax and it’s so speedy and perfect! 🙌🏽

This is a wonderful boutique apothecary. I frequent it for one specific product and while there I love being assailed by the scents in the air. The staff is knowledgeable and nice.
