Raleigh Step Above Massage

I made my first visit to Step Above Massage for a 90-minute massage treatment with Caitlin. I definitely will be going back. Caitlin did a tremendous job of tailoring my treatment to what I needed. She is very talented and very professional. I highly recommend.

I highly recommend Caitlin at Step Above Massage in Raleigh. Shes an extremely talented and caring professional who provides a customized massage experience based on your needs. In my case, it was to help with stress and migraines, and her services have definitely been helpful to me.

This was my first time getting a professional massage and Im going to returning asap. Caitlin put in such astonishing work on me that I wont let another person touch me professionally ever. My girlfriend was worked on by her partner Christina (I think that was her name) and she had nothing but amazing things to say about her massage. Thank you ladies.

There was a tiny mix up about the time of the massage but I called their number and the coordinator very nicely figured it out and compensated me an additional 15 minutes to my session. The massage was great and it was very convenient. I would definitely go here again.

The BEST and i mean THE BEST MASSAGE I’ve ever had. I’ve been getting massages for at least 8 years and after a recently very poor experience, I was nervous to try someone new. I have been in pain for MONTHS and nobody was able to relieve the pain, but Christina did just that. Not only was she extremely polite and professional, her skills speak for her! I immediately posted her business card on my social medias and I hope she gets a lot of business. I will definitely be back!

I was able to get booked on short notice when I had a bad flare-up with my back. My massage therapist was very friendly over the course of the 90 minute session, and she even did a complimentary hot stone message, which really helped with my tense muscles! Ive definitely seen an improvement in the days after the session. I really only give this place four stars instead of five because the location and atmosphere is somewhat lacking; the quality of the table and the room made it difficult to fully relax. But other than those stipulates, I would definitely recommend!

Had a great experience with Christina. She was a true professional and very much an expert with deep tissue massage. This was my first massage in a while and I had lots of knots, tight areas, etc. and she got most if not all of them out during our 90 min session. Will be back again. Thanks!

This was my second time doing a couples massage at this location. I really enjoyed my massage and the masseuses were very helpful. I would like to make this a regular part of my routine especially since my boyfriend has a lot of tension in his back, but the only thing I will say is the bookings seem too close back to back. As we were coming in for our appointment another couple was just finishing that is the only reason I didn’t give 5 stars.

Went for a couples massage and enjoyed every bit of it. Scheduled appt was at 130, but Sam called me that morning to tell me one of the massage therapists were out and asked if we could come at 4. We had no problem with that, and were just glad they could accommodate still. Staff was friendly, atmosphere was relaxing and peaceful, massage was perfect. We will be back, thank you both!

My husband and I went in for a couples massage for our 3 year anniversary. We wanted a relaxing and gentle massage and that is exactly what we got! Caitlyn and Alana were amazing, best massage we’ve ever received! We felt so incredible after and didn’t want it to end haha. The room was so clean and relaxing and they were so professional and personable. We will definitely be going back, next time we’ll go for a 90 minute massage!

Absolutely amazing massage! Sam did a phenomenal job - his pressure was perfect, he focused on my trouble areas & he was very professional. This was the first day I havent experienced shoulder pain in months! I left feeling like a new woman & will definitely be going back!

Hands down one of the best couple massages my partner and I have experienced. The place is so cozy and peaceful. It was a very relaxing environment. Now, the massages themselves were nothing less then great. My body felt so relaxed and tense free. The message was so good that I wanted to take a nap during and after the massage. My partner loved the deep tissue massage with hot salt scrub. I definitely recommend this place for couples massage. They also have extras that are inexpensive compared to other massage places. Easy to schedule. The owner was very helpful and polite. Overall, my partner and I had a great experience!

My wife and I went for our anniversary. The therapist were fantastic, the room was plesant, clean and very relaxing. Therapists were both skilled and thorough. We walked away very relaxed from a much needed massage.Thank you for the wonderful addition to our anniversary celebration.

Got a massage the other week and the person just kept digging and digging behind my shoulder blades.Never even said if it was knots or what was the point.The next day I had unbearable pain behind both shoulder blades.Had to go to the chiropractor, they said my vertebrae was messed up, they had to snap it back in place.So I spent $100 on the massage and $40 at the chiropractor...and all I got was horrible pain for about 4 days.I messaged the massage business and all they said was Sorry.I highly suggest avoiding this business.Seek your massage elsewhere.

I’m giving a 4 star review because- upon arriving we got there at the same time so the ambiance wasn’t set. No music, no aromatherapy, the table wasn’t warm- the second foot massage lacked in pressure- payment was awkward I expect him to swipe my card and hand me the phone so I leave a tip. I would’ve love to tip him.The overall massage was niceMy focus points were my shoulders and feetI hold my stress there and I felt him kneading it away. Would go back

Caitlin was an amazing message Therapist! She really loosened up my tight and knotted up muscles. She hit muscles I never even knew I had. My neck feels 10 times better then it did before I came in. I would definitely go back for my future needs!

Massage was incredible. Chris is very talented. I haven’t had a pain free day in my lower back in years and she made it happen! Only small issue I had was with the head rest when laying on my stomach. I will be going back.

I booked an appointment for my mom with this company as a gift. I was at work the day of her appointment. It was not until after my work did I come back to my phone to see a voicemail and text message from the place 45 min before my mom’s appointment saying the therapist was sick (her appointment was in the afternoon). So I was not happy they waited so long to inform us that we could either reschedule the appointment or get a refund. My mom was not informed so she went to the appointment and said it was locked when she got there and it was dirty. When she talked to them, they were not clear about rescheduling so she told them to refund me. It has been a few hours later, I have called and texted with no response.

Got a couples massage for the first time and it was amazing! Definitely recommend. The space was very clean and tidy. We even got there early and saw the behind the scenes of them changing the sheets so you knew it was clean. Would go back.

I was visiting Raleigh for the weekend and wanted to add a massage to my list of things to do. After doing some looking online and checking the reviews I scheduled with Step Above Massage through the online booking. Caitlyn did my massage. She was very professional and applied the right pressure. It was relaxing enough for me to doze off a little bit. They have a great rate for first time clients. I hope to visit again when Im in the Raleigh area.

WARNING: Dont Buy A Package(might never be able to schedule).Website requires being billed & the owner doesnt like to answer/return texts/calls when You need to schedule sessions you already paid for. 0-3 last 3 times Ive tried, save your time.Downside is Christina is a 5 star deep tissue massage, feel bad for her making less because her boss wont answer his phone.

My therapist, Christina, was awesome. She gave a thorough massage and worked very diligently. Not only did she bring relief to my upper back pain, she also was kind and conversational.

Absolutely the best massage. Sam checked that I was comfortable with the level of pressure throughout my massage. He asked me about any areas of concern beforehand. Im sure I fell asleep a couple of times. I will definitely be a repeat client.

I have been trying and searching for over the last 2 years for a massage therapist that fits me well and I have finally found him. Sam listens to your concerns and completely left me feeling more relaxed, less tense and in no pain. I havent been able to find someone that can get all the knots out of my shoulders for years without leaving sore and in pain. Sam DID IT and the scalp massage is out of this world!!

Christina was AMAZING! I told her to really dig deep on my massage and she did! I was just about to fall asleep when it was time to turn! She was so nice and the environment was perfect!

The problem is there is not a reception area and phones are not answered. I went to the wrong building. My fault, but I have lived in the area for a week. I tried to contact them and did not receive a response. Thankfully I was very early.. I arrived at the correct locationat 3:13 and my appointment was 3:15.. so five minutes was used up in conversation and a restroom visit. That could have been avoided if phones were answered like in a salon as they should be. My therapist was good, but stopped five minutes early. Not sure why.

They were awesome! Very professional and took their time! I felt so lighter and loose after I left no pains just a big relief I’m super excited I found them!! I will be returning for sure!!

Caitlin did a superior job. Top tier. I was beyond sore before walking in from extensive workouts and stress. I walked out feeling like a new person. She did an outstanding job with my deep tissue massage and himalayan salt stones. The Spotify playlist was perfect too. I will be back soon and will recommend this to anyone and everyone in the RDU area.

Great Massage from Alana. She is not afraid to work on trigger points and bravely tackles. Very professional as is the owner Sam. 30 min drive but totally worth it, I highly recommend!

Very thorough and very accommodating. I have an old sports injury that flares up and causes me a lot of pain and Brittani was so attentive to this area to help provide some much-needed relief. I would definitely recommend checking out Step Above!

I got relief from pain on the very 1st visit. I also learned how to stretch properly after exercise. I would highly recommend acupuncture and physical therapy with this holistic treatment.
