What else can you say that hasnt been previously said from other reviews? This Karaoke bar is just plain fun. Pretty much a locals only kinda place but never felt not welcomed. The singers were having a good time and you could just feed off the energy. The bartender was doing a great job considering it was a packed house. She held it down. The drinks were cheap and generous. Will definitely come back again when in town.

I read Thalia and chandlers review. I was there when they “experienced disrespect”. Honestly these 2 and their friend were some of the most disrespectful people I have ever ran in to. They ran up on stage while people were singing, thinking it was funny. One of the 3 grabbed the mic and started to scream into the mic while someone was singing. They were the disrespectful ones that night. There’s a difference between having fun and being a complete mess. It’s sad when a couple of entitled people get a few drinks in them and embarrass themselves. Do better girls. The owners(Paul and Gina) are some of the nicest people I have ever met. Go to the point and support every singer and don’t jump on stage while others are singing to try to be funny like Thalia and chandler. I remember when I had my first beer 😉.

I am rarely compelled to write reviews. But my experience yesterday at The Point was so amazing, I felt I must let others know. A couple coworkers and I wanted a karaoke night and landed at The Point. I was impressed that the place is non smoking. I got up and sang a few tunes and the crowd is great at cheering, dancing and supporting all the singers. Many of the singers are obviously regulars and honestly are good enough to be professionals. We had so much fun. Only thing stopping me from giving 5 stars is that there was only 1 bartender on a busy Friday night so getting drinks was slow at times. But props to the owner and the DJ for hopping behind the bar when she was slammed. Loved this place.

We were there waited more than an hour for our songs. While the same people already sang repeatedly for 3 rounds. Lol if youre new there no point going youll be waiting for your song forever until you lost your appetite for singing. You will just be there enjoying the regulars having fun. If youre more of an audience this maybe good for you 🙄

Extremely disappointed with this place. Growing up in Reno and coming here often, we are all the sudden ostracized for wanting to join in on others songs. Apparently it’s “rude” to sing-a-long and want to have fun. Won’t be back. Lost a lot of good customers. If I could do zero stars, I would.

The MC was extremely rude. He called my friends and I out in front of the whole place. We left early because he made us extremely uncomfortable. I don’t appreciate that. We were holding the mic and singing. Sheeesh what a terrible vibe. That guy should be fired. If I could rate this a zero I would.

Has a good atmosphere but the staff is terrible. Was waiting forever to order a drink and the one bartender proceeded to shots while everyone waited. Later the owner came back to help and counted the tips ignoring the customers then proceeded to wash the glasses sitting along the bar by dumping the used ice and then putting them up to dry as if they were clean. This was in full view while all customers waited to be served. Dont drink anything here but bottled drinks unless you want to drink out of used glassware.

Best karaoke place in reno. Paul and Gina own the bar and provide the best customer service and make amazing drinks. Then if that wasnt enough to draw you in haas is the best karaoke dj. He puts a lot of effort into making everyone sound their best and will even dance with everyone if people put in dance requests. Its truly a fun special spot.

Everyone here was so pumped and very talented. I felt a little intimidated singing my first karaoke here but everyone was very nice. Not too large to feel overwhelmed. Will definitely be back.

It was great for my first time going with some friends. Good music and singers. The people were nice. Only issue I had was my bf bought a condom from the bathroom and might want to make sure they arent All expired.

The owner/bartender has her little section of groupies who are allowed to loudly laugh over people singing. Very rude!! I was there an hour and had to listen to an obnoxious person laugh while people sang....owner kicked me out for complaining.

Great lil smoke free space for Karaoke Thurs though Sat. The have live bands there on Sunday night. If you want to enjoy yourselves with your friends. You should go there and check it out.

We LOVE The Point! We are from King City Ca. and we make the effort to go there whenever we are in Reno! Super friendly owners, and a very happy crowd of people are always there to have fun with! Highly recommended!

Worst bartender ever. Woody from Cheers was more on the stick. If PJ is working, byob. Tried to give me someone elses credit card...

We were told sodas were $2.50 each and at the end of the night it was doubled. Very deceiving business. $28 for 6 sodas is ridiculous. Will NOT be back!!

Karaoke club, Great vibe! They have a stage and a host for karaoke and some of the locals are really good!
