Dolce Vita Wellness Spa

I’ve been a member at this spa since I’ve moved to Reno and can’t get enough of it. I came in wanting to clear up my adult acne and have found the perfect routine of services here. My favorites are the deluxe HydraFacial and the DiamondGlow facial. The staff are educated and friendly. I travel a lot and have found it offers one of the most intimate and curated experiences of the spas that Ive been to so far. Not to mention they have the best member benefits! I’ve managed to convince some of my out of towners to join as well and now we go every time they’re in town.

Have been to both the wellness spa and med spa here for massages, facials, and microneedling. The receptionists are super friendly and make you feel welcome. The spa is spotless and has such a peaceful vibe. I love the view of Rancharrah from the patio. This is such a nice place to come with a friend or your spouse for a high end spa treatment.

The atrium lounge was my favorite room! My massage therapist, Bella, and my esthetician, TJ, were phenomenal and so, so friendly. The Pesto Panini & Peach Bellini were delicious & the sunset (picture doesn’t do it justice) over Rancharrah was so beautiful.I can’t wait to come back again, soon!

If I could give this place zero stars I would, because they made me feel like I was a zero star customer. I was generously gifted the pamper package for my birthday and when I called in the day of my treatment to confirm check-in time they said someone had called them and cancelled my appointment. At this point, I was not very upset, I said there is probably another Lisa Kennedy and it is a mix up, I get it, not a problem, let’s reschedule. We rescheduled for the next day 11:15 check-in. I go to the counter to check-in and everyone seemed pretty confused and after I told them my name they all went in the back and did a bunch of whispering and eventually came out front to tell me that Lisa Kennedy called in this morning and cancelled. I told them this happened to me yesterday and I had my new appointments scheduled by phone yesterday and this is unacceptable. I was really excited and ready to relax and be pampered but instead I left this place angry. They were nowhere near apologetic I think they honestly think it was “my fault” I have a popular name and not their fault they can’t schedule properly. This should never happen and definitely not 2 days in a row to be same person. If you want to accommodate for your mistakes by just rescheduling me for a third time with no added perks or being sincere, it’s time to go back to customer service basics. Bottom line, if you have a popular name, don’t go here, it won’t be relaxing. I can’t figure out how to reply to the response to my post. However, it has been 5 days and I have yet to be contacted. They probably contacted the wrong Lisa again.

The BEST spa experience ever!! The spa alone and amenities are unmatched. Spent my birthday receiving the ultimate pamper package and it was worth every dime especially the Vichy table!! Also the sweet lady at the bar was amazing taking care of us the entire time! 10/10 recommend!

Great spa. The entire staff very pleasant and kind. They only have one small hot tub. This would be a 10 star place if they had 2 more hot tubs and a plunge pool. Still all in all a great place to spend an afternoon being pampered.

We had a wonderful experience at Dolce Vita. Ashley and Brooke were our therapists for the visit and they were fantastic every step of the way. I highly recommend them! We went in for the Connected Couples Retreat for 2 and had such a relaxing and rejuvenating time. This included a massage, mud mask for face, scalp cleansing, and foot scrub. It was exquisite and luxurious. The spa and their highly trained therapists don’t disappoint.

My massage with Karli was excellent as always! Steam sauna & hot sauna. Amazing one in a melon margarita by Alise at the bar! Great vibe and so relaxing!

This was my first time at Dolce Vita and it won’t be my last. Hands down the BEST massage I have ever had. Evelyn was incredible and so kind. It’s such a calming place and very beautiful. 😻 highly recommend!

Today was my first head to toe massage at Dolce Vita. Very impressed with all the attentive staff and 3 varieties of chilled waters throughout the property. The massage therapist wasn’t aggressive or rushed and made experience so relaxing. Will definitely be back, wearing the comp. tee shirt no doubt!

Service was incredible! The staff, amenities, the food, everything was great! This was my 4th time coming back and I can’t wait for another spa day!

Excellent experience! Every staff member was so professional, kind and accommodating. Isabella gave me an amazing massage, Ellen made me a delicious cocktail, and NP Patterson treated me with a B12 injection. I am so happy I became a member and look forward to many more visits. Well done!

Wonderful experience every time! Staff is so friendly , massage and facials have been awesome and the atmosphere is fantastic! Having Lase MD treatments done in the med spa has been an enlightening experience that has been well worth the cost. My technician Jeanine has been great with all of her help, explanations and recommendations! Looking forward to trying out more treatments in the future.

I had the diamond glow facial today performed by Tiffany and my experience was wonderful. She was very professional and had great tips for my skin. I understood the procedure completely. I love the services that are offered and can’t wait to have more done.

I’ve had a few massages here and they seem to be hit or miss. They’ve each time been with a different massage therapist but my most recent session was quite disappointing. It was very superficial - like the treatment was just applying oil to the skin, and it wasn’t symmetric - the few muscles that did get targeted were only on one side. They didn’t ask if the pressure was good or for feedback throughout. Before my treatment they had me fill out a questionnaire where I was asked the type of pressure and any places to avoid and it’s as if the therapist didn’t read that form at all. All the staff including all the massage therapists I’ve had have been very sweet but a few therapists have felt a bit inexperienced. I did really like Kala, she even gave me some demonstrations of stretching to do at home for my tense areas. There also isn’t a great selection of snacks in the female lounge area.

Great experience! Started with a full body massage with Andrew, incredibly professional and great pressure. Tiffany as usual is amazing and treats my skin to a wonderful customized facial each time.

I had the most memorable massage experience at Dolce Vita Spa. It wasnt that anything special happened. However, it was a good, solid experience. I could have used their special rooms or sat out by the fire pit. I could hAve even ordered a juice or cocktail. However, I had a massage, sat in the sauna and steam room and left feeling relaxed and satisfied. This was a good experience and the cost was not bad. They are a great massage alternative in the Reno area.

Got Botox for the first time at the Med Spa. Great experience! The nurse practitioner really explained everything and helped me feel very comfortable with the injections. Liked how detailed she was with my face movements to fix my areas of concern. Looking forward to seeing the results….Will definitely go back again!

Absolutely amazing experience from all the staff, their expertise and hospitality and the facility itself- which is stunning and smells amazing. I have had some pretty bad injuries and surgeries and Nicole did wonderfully with my massage and I’m pretty picky especially as I love deep tissue. For the first time in a long while, I’m comfortable and that’s saying something. Juliana at the bar was also wonderful and another delight to talk to. She even saved my charcuterie for me with my name and a little note as the bar was closing down and I hate a later appt. Overall I definitely recommend this spa!!!

All of the workers there were very friendly. Had the best spa experience!!! Got a nice massage. A nice facial. The drinks were delicious. So was the food. Got a small food box. Before our spa appointments. Went into the sauna and a relaxing room. I would totally recommend this place. And would go 100% back

I bought a laser hair package and at the time was told that included the 6 sessions and then after that the touch ups would be $75 forever. Today when i went for a touch up they informed me that they will no longer be honoring that price and the price will go up $50 or more. Really disappointing because I love Tiffany there she does an amazing job, but I may need to find somewhere else to go.

The new location is fabulous. Like.a 5 star resort in Vail or Scottsdale. We go for the services (40 percent) and the ambiance (30 percent) and because the front desk guru Brian (pictured below) is a complete class act. No reasonable request refused. Always makes us feel like one of the family. We love his vibe as much as the spa and personally my day is brightened whenever he is working and greets us. This is hands down the best spa in Northern Nevada.

Dolce Vita Wellness Spa is amazing! I’m so disappointed that I am just finding out about it! The facility is gorgeous, and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly, and there to take care of your needs. The locker rooms are supplied with everything you need to take care of yourself, and the medical spa is second to none. My wife and I are already discussing getting a membership, but regardless, we will definitely be returning very soon!

Love love love DolceVita Spa!! My daughter and I meet up there a couple days a month for girl time and self care. We like that they have the Med Spa as well as the day spa for all of your self care needs. Their staff makes your feel welcomed as soon as you walk in the door. Staff is key and they are awesome!! Their academy events are enlightening and fun. I always love learning new modalities or tip n tricks. Thanks Dolce for taking such good care of us!!

I’d like to give 4-1/2 stars but it is a top notch day spa with infrared sauna, choice of aromatherapy for massage and a few relaxing areas to de-stress either co-ed with my hubby or with just the girls. Second time around I used arnica, frankincense and rose which is a wonderful combo. The mineral bath we weren’t informed what was in it, so perhaps I’m allergic to something. Afterward even after taking a shower my back and my husband’s back was prickly and itchy. The couples massage was amazing but next time we will do them individually so my masseuse nor I can disturb my hubby’s peace and experience! They really do try to cater to each customer and their experience and I appreciate all the nuances. If you live far from the spa I’d recommend getting to the area super early so that snow doesn’t impact your appt to be charged without having control to get there. Road closures during those times are unavoidable but if prepared by getting into Reno proper super early during winter and spring months, it should work out ok.

My husband and I had amazing massages from Andrew and Bella. Andrew is a master of his craft and it was the most therapeutic massage I’ve ever had. He also suggested stretches to help with muscle tightness. My husband said Bella did a great job and really loosened up his knots. The spa was beautiful and the service was top notch. The bar had nice snacks, but not enough for a full meal. Our only complaint was guests talking loudly in the meditation room, not the spas fault but perhaps some larger signage to remind guests of the quiet areas would be helpful.

This was the best spa experience I have ever had. The staff the experience the building itself is absolutely wonderful!!! I brought my bridal party here and were so relaxed and feel so pampered. Thank you to everyone for making me feel special and relaxed before my big day.

Laser hair removal with Tiffany is the absolute best!!! I’ve had 3 laser techs but Tiffany is by far the best. She is thorough, so down to earth, and easy to talk to. If you’re on the fence about laser hair, trust me, go with Tiffany and you will not regret it!!

My first facial experience and it was amazing, 10/10 would recommend. My esthetician made sure I was comfortable and explained everything she was doing and the benefits. The spa is also very nice and fancy.

If you go for a massage, ask for Nicole. She worked on me for just under an hour, and I felt amazing ever since. And that was more than a week ago! What a fun experience. A great spa, really nice people, and a focus on making sure you walk out of there better than you did walking in. I would rate them five out of five stars. Way to go, Nicole !

Bianca is amazing! I saw her for a prenatal massage and this mama feels so much better. The spa is beautiful and relaxing, I cant wait to visit again!

I really enjoy my time at Dolce Vita. Be it for a relaxing day or a med spa procedure. The staff is wonderfully attentive and knowledgeable. I definitely will be renewing my membership next year.

Much needed experience! Adrian, The masseuse, that I requested because I’ve had him before. Is absolutely incredibly amazing! I’ve had some serious neck and shoulder issues, and he went right to work with such caring and expertise… Checking in with me often about pressure and even suggesting some steps, I could take to relieve some stress to the shoulders and neck. I’ve already scheduled my return visit. The facility is outstanding, very clean and lovely. I really go there for Adrian, but many go to Dolce Vita Wellness Spa because it’s such a nice experience with sitting areas, you can get food and some healthy appetizers, have a beautiful view of the mountains, outdoor hot tub, etc. you can really spoil area yourself with the sauna and steam. I haven’t really experienced any of those things except excellent massages. It’s exceptionally clean they provide bathrobes and slippers and have everything you need to take a shower and get ready and go. Absolutely will do this consistently. It’s a great way to be able to have a massage and get right back to work or go to dinner or even have a massage in the evening, which is what I did. Reno needed this desperately! 🧘‍♀️

Absolutely amazing! All the staff is helpful, caring and considerate. Atmosphere is so peaceful and relaxing. SOOOO glad I discovered this fabulous spa. Have been to both sides, med and day spa and will continue to get services from both. The Cha Cha Chi protein drink is the bomb. Victoria Patterson is simply the best RN. She has taken ten plus years off my face. She is passionate , kind, really listens to all of your concerns. She is truly an artist and has incredible talent. I trust her advice and follow the treatment plan she has designed for me. Simply an angel in disguise. Can not say enough kind things about her and all the staff. Highly recommend her services.

Love the experiences I’ve had at this spa. Facials by TJ who has years in the skin care business, massage by Derrick who is so much more than a massage therapist, helped me through a difficult day and calmed my mind and body.. The staff and the setting are exceptional.

In general, from the beginning to the end, all staff was very good, the SPA is beautiful and clean. Prices are ok, depends on the treatment and if there are any specials going. I got a treatment from esthetician Tiffany in the Medical SPA and she was really nice.

I experienced my first sports recovery massage which might be the solution to some shoulder pain keeping me from my workouts. I’m hopeful. As a long time customer, I have nothing but nice things to say about Dolce Vita. One suggestion for the DV team - clean the glass on the fish tank.Thanks for all you do.

I use the medical side of the spa and see Jeannine for LHR. I love her atmosphere and work so much. She’s gentle and very much a perfectionist. She’s made me feel comfortable and answers any questions I have. 11/10 recommend her. Bree is also amazing! Always has a smile and bright attitude when assisting in scheduling and check-ins! The spa itself is beautiful and the workers are all sweet. Very warm, cozy and offers many amenities.

I absolutely love Dolce Vita! I’ve dealt with bad acne my whole life and decided to try fighting it with the Med Spa’s new Laser Acne AviClear Treatment, and the results have been astounding. I had Tiffany for each round of the treatment and could not speak higher of her. I trust her opinion wholeheartedly and have continued getting facials with her often because she’s the best!

EDIT-Dolce Vita kindly reached out and gave my sister a $150 credit so that she can go back and get the facial I intended for her to have for her birthday. I greatly appreciate their attention to this and doing their best to rectify!My sister and I visited Dolce Vita yesterday, celebrating her birthday. I scheduled us both for the same massages and same facials (includes derma-planing, since my sister had never tried this and wanted to!) It was all a surprise, so she wasn’t aware what services she was getting going in. On the drive home, discussing our services it seemed like we went to two different places…..her masseuse didn’t touch her feet the entire service, although mine massaged feet with hot stones and treated them with oil, etc. she did NOT get the derma-planing with her facial, but I did. It was her birthday experience and she walked away with an “it was fine” reaction. I didn’t pay over $1,100 for “eh”! I called Dolce Vita as soon as I got this info from my sister (about 1/2 hour after checking out of the spa) and asked about this issue. They noted that they gave my sister the “wrong” facial and didn’t include the derma-planing, so they credited me $15. Nice of them to credit the difference in price of facials, but that didn’t make up for a lackluster experience on a special occasion. We don’t do this type of thing every day, it was intended to be a special birthday treat, and the lack of detail and inconsistency of service for the price left us disappointed.

Dolce Vita Wellness Spa is not only gorgeous and tranquil, the staff is courteous, kind and talented. I saw Victoria for Botox/Filler and she did an amazing job. She has an eye for esthetics, was extremely though and knowledgeable and took her time in with administration of products. She also gave recommendations for other products and procedures that would be beneficial for me personally. 5 star experience! Thankyou Dolce Vita and Victoria!

I received a facial treatment which was amazing! Ariel did a fantastic job. She made sure to ask clarifying questions and made me feel comfortable. Best facial to date.

Amazing experience at Dolce Vita! They have thought of every detail, from properly sized robes, to the most comfortable massage tables ever. The spa is beautifully designed and decorated, with several different relaxation rooms and outdoor areas. All of the staff were pleasant and welcoming. Overall, the service and environment here rivals some of the best spas in the country!

Pleasantly surprised. Every detail was perfect. Massage was wonderful. If I had to make a suggestion, I would request nut free and sesame seed free food options, please. I also would like to see another hot tub if possible. We wanted to use it, but there were at lesst 6-8 people in or around it at all times and no room for others to enjoy that ammenity. The fire place was pleasant and tranquil. Drinks were perfectly created as well. Will definitely be back.

Everything was perfect from the moment I walked in to the moment I left. The staff were very helpful, informative, and nice I felt very welcomed especially since it was my first time there. I recommend a hydrafacial for long lasting radiant results! This spa had very good energy all around and I will definitely be coming back soon!

Editing my reviewTurned out I was not able to have the procedure I gave a deposit for, due to medications I take. NO refund offered!! I got a facial for part of funds paid in advance. Facial was nice and relaxing. I also bought some skin repair lotion at initial visit. Either the lotion or facial caused my skin to peel in little spots all over, this was in February of this year. Something also caused my skin to have red blood looking areas. I was able to return lotion and get the refund put on my account. 3 mo ths later, now, face is almost back to normal. I will try a massage next to use up some of my money. I am 75 so guess I shouldnt have tried new treatments.

Derek was an absolute pleasure, and the facility was beautiful and priced at a point I found reasonable for this sort of self care. What a fun experience with the vichey table!

My husband and I went to the spa today and had a great experience. My husband had the 80 minute deep tissue massage with Bianca and I had an 80 minute hot stone massage with Adrian. Both were marvelous and we would see both therapists again. Highly recommend this spa.

The best hidden spa sanctuary in ALL of Reno! I booked a few appts, and in between appointments there’s a beverage bar to get tea, wine or cocktails as well as little snacks. There’s also a hottub and sauna to lounge in.It’s magical here.Also, for your WAXING needs…ARIEL is THE BEST. I followed her from North Lake Tahoe.❤️

I really enjoyed the mini facial special and skin scans. I feel more knowledgeable already and noticed a difference after the one med grade facial. So educational and met my goals of trying to determine how to better care for my aging skin and what to begin to program in!

Best massage I have ever had since being in Hawaii. The couples massage experience was lovely! The bubbly and chocolate mouse cake were a perfect jacuzzi accompaniment. I love a Lomi Lomi/Hawaiian style massage and not a lot of people know how to do it but the therapist nailed it. The steam room and infra red sauna were a treat. The wind was 🥶 tonight and the spa amenities really helped me keep warm. All staff was tip worthy.

Absolutely love this place. They have events where they throw spa parties and showcase treatments. Wonderful food and beverages at these events. I always buy a package at their spa parties. Tiffany is amazing. Her series of three , full laser (not the mini) made me look ten years younger. Way better than microneedling for me personally. Thats a compliment to her skills and the laser (not me boasting, so dont make a backhanded comment). Nila, owner, is gracious and friendly. She looks so young with great skin. Thats a testament to this place!Ethically I always believe in honest reviews, which includes a tiny bit of suggestions. Event room needs more seating with a tiny bit more tables for appetizers. High up tables, not close to floor. Bar needs to learn more about wine storage. Had some old wines that had gone bad several times. Could use more variety of red wine for wine lovers. Bartenders are awesome and caring. Lots of fun cocktails. Could use a few craft beers for us lightweights. I also love traditional treatments like back facials, pedicures, paraffin, scrubs, scalp treatments, deep conditioning, etc.

Tiffany is by far the best for a facial that I’ve had after seven years going to Dolce Vita. The spa itself is beautiful. The vibe of the spa itself is a little cold, unfortunately. I’m thankful there’s someone like Tiffany at this spa. She’s a tremendous breath of fresh air. She adds warmth to a spa one would expect to feel comforting. Her positive vibes are everything and her massage during the facial and the facial itself was exactly what I needed.

My 3rd time at this spa, I have loved everyone. I had my first advanced hydra-facial with Olivia today and couldn’t be more pleased. She was wonderful, my skin feels amazing! I will be seeing her in the future.

This experience was amazing from start to finish. I booked the perfectly paired 50 minute massage for my honey and I for our anniversary. We got there a little early before our appointment to relax in the sauna. After our amazing massage we relaxed at the bar and outside. I feel so healthy and light

Had a few treatments at the MedSpa and have been very pleased with the facility and staff. They are so friendly, knowledgeable and professional I always look forward to going there. Jeannine has been doing a great job on my laser hair removal. Always takes time to make sure I’m comfortable during the procedure and explains every step. Victoria was very gentle and professional when completing my first appointment. Will definitely be going there for any MedSpa needs in the future.

Tiffany is my favorite, but Jeannine is also my fave aesthetician in the medical spa, too. Love both these talented, big-hearted ladies!

Such a wonderful experience! I definitely recommend for the hard working momma or parents! Just being there in general is bliss and the hot stone massage and facial I was also gifted as a birthday present from my sister just exceeded my expectations. Karli was incredible! I went in for a prenatal massage & I can’t say enough good things about the entire place! It was very relaxing, they have steam rooms, a relaxation room, a lounge, hot tub. It’s an entire experience. 36 weeks pregnant & I finally feel some relief in my muscles & joints. They’re incredible & I can’t recommend them enough!

I cannot speak highly enough about Christi, my aesthetician at Dolce Vita! She is a pro. Christi helped me shift my skincare routine following my recent move to Nevada - a much dryer climate from my previous home. I could not be in better hands with my skincare routine!

Hands down the best massage I’ve ever had! Bianca, where have you been all my life? Just the right amount of pressure with a calm, healing presence. Enjoyed the sauna, steam room and hot tub. A beautiful facility. Will definitely be back!

I had the most wonderful day at the spa. The facilities were delightful and very calming. The view from the back patio is gorgeous. The treatments were professional and very enjoyable. I booked a Thanksgiving deal that they had which included a face evaluation and a mini facial. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. I was able to see what my true skin age was and see where my skin was more congested and had more sun damage. I was able to ask both of the technicians questions about my skincare routine as I was getting hormonal acne again. They were able to help me figure out what ingredients I should be using and vice versa. I got a small chemical peel for my mini facial. It helped minimize my acne inflammation that I had going on. The facility is also clean and has a lot of of amenities. I would be coming here again!

Came here for the second time with my best friend for her birthday. The amenities are great! The eucalyptus steam room is fantastic along with the sauna. I got the deep tissue massage and it was everything I could have hoped for. I also indulged in a Hot Toddy and Panini which were both great. Will definitely be back!

The staff at Dolce Vita take customer service to another level. My massage therapist, Carly, is small but mighty. Thank goodness for firm pressure. Although I don’t normally do facials, I did for my birthday and Christy was great. Unfortunately, a few months ago we lost a family member and my mom and I had to cancel our treatments. Maddie and Kalynn were amazing and went out of their way to make sure we had an extra special time this last time. Maddie even purchased sympathy cards for us. Really appreciate the kindness, customer service, and level of care that was provided!!

Tiffany in the med spa is absolutely the best aesthetician I have ever had in my life. She’s amazing fully knowledgeable on every part of every kind of facial that I have received. I was thrilled to try a spa that was unaffiliated with a casino, but I realized some spa amenities I enjoy were either absent from Dolce Vita or an afterthought. There wasn’t a cold plunge pool and the sauna was a small infrared model installed in the corner of the dressing room – uncomfortable! I prefer a traditional coal/wood heated sauna room. I was willing to overlook these missing features since staff was nice and I enjoyed my massage. However, some additional mishaps left me feeling frustrated with my visit.First, the up-selling of every complimentary product was absurd. Even the infused water was plastered with signage stating ‘available for purchase’. The resort spas don’t even push product like this. When it came time to check out, I informed staff of my promotional offer. They acknowledged it was valid, though did not honor the discount because their system wouldn’t accept it. Instead, I was dismissed & given a voucher for my next visit – useless since I don’t plan to visit again. Lastly, I was required to provide the front desk clerk my tip (prior to seeing my receipt). I’ve never been verbally solicited for a tip before, but after witnessing the tacky upsell practices, I have a hard time believing that the pre-tip requirement + promo error was due to a rigid POS system.

I love Dolce Vita. It’s like heaven on earth. It’s the best place out of Reno / Tahoe area. The staff is always friendly and they know what they’re doing. I’ve always had a great experience in this place, and I don’t mind driving an hour to enjoy my luxury time in DVWS, because it’s always worth it.

Very nice experience all around. Great atmosphere and staff are excellent. Very happy to not have to go to a casino spa or parlor to get a massage.Bar could have a little better variety but overall good drinks. Bartender was great, made a great maple old fashioned. Food had a small selection but was surprisingly good.Mens locker room could use a few more amenities/attention to detail. The water station was clogged and all the ice melted. The infared lights in the sauna were not all working. I honestly dont know what they even do so it didnt really bother me. The womens room apparently has a steam room which would be nice in the mens locker room. Lastly, not sure what people use in the summer but a plunge pool or some cold water therapy would be nice.Massages for my wife and I were good. If I compared to some other places we have been, I would rank it it the middle of the road. Better than most but not the best we have experienced. Overall very enjoyable and relaxing.Looking forward to returning.

We had the best getaway for my partners birthday. The massages were really soothing and relaxing. I loved how verbal the masseuse was for my man, making sure he was comfortable and enjoying himself. My masseuse was quiet and strong and I loved that for myself! Aside from the amazing massages It was very peaceful and had the best lounging views from the bar and outside areas. We went during the week and basically had the place to ourselves it was beautiful!

Took my wife here for a massage for her bday. We were told that since we were spending her bday there that she would get an extra “foot scrub” service added onto her massage however it never happened. When I inquired about it afterwards the front desk receptionist told us to just “ask for it again” on our next visit and say she never got it. I’m pretty sure that’s not how we handle things when a service was missed. It shouldn’t be up to her to go back there and ask for it again “next time” kind of a bummer! For over $500 with tip I would assume little things like this wouldn’t be missed. I’m not leaving 1 star because I get it sometimes people have off days.

This place is amazing, beautiful and so relaxing. I don’t know if I’ve ever been to a place where every single staff member was kind, helpful and accommodating. I’m telling all my friends and family to come here. I came for a special they were having in the medical spa but I will be back for more treatments!

I have been a member for three years, going on four. Every time I call to book a massage, the customer service is always friendly, fast, and efficient. Staff will greet you with a smile and ask if you want to choose a stone to set an intention for your visit. I feel like with everything going on in our lives, its good to stop and take time for oneself to do so. My massage therapist is Karli, and shes very attentive to my needs and specific areas that deserve extra care. Massage holds a wonderful healing power. Which is why I return every month. I highly recommend this spa to anyone who needs a ME day or to celebrate a special occasion because you deserve it.

I booked my very first spa day with my friend Alicia two weeks ago and we had our full appointment today. Derrick and Brittany were our massage therapists and both of them were incredible. The atmosphere is fantastic. All the amenities you want and need are here. Their flavored water stations throughout the facility come handy. The infrared saunas are great, the hot tub is great. Overall a very impressive Spa to heal the body and mind!

Beautiful spa great setting the people were very professional and welcoming. I had an 80 minute deep tissue massage which unfortunately was not enjoyable. I would return to the spa but I would make sure I did not have the gentleman that gave me the massage again.

I received a full body scrub on the vichy table, and as a plus-size woman, it was definitely an intimidating service. However, not once did I feel embarrassed or ashamed. My service provider was extremely respectful and kind during the entire duration of my service. I had a very relaxing and calming experience and felt welcomed by all staff members. The facilities were exceptionally maintained, and I found that same level of integrity all throughout. I just wish I wouldve budgeted more time to enjoy it all further. Go to Dolce Vita Welness Spa, its worth every penny!

I really wanted to love it and was going to hold off leaving a review until I had booked a few more treatments but I dont see myself returning. My day spa visit was okay but there was no attempt at scheduling my next visit at checkout and the amenities are a little entry level. I like to have everything for the next months booked so I can plan ahead but there was a line forming behind me and only one staff available so I decided to schedule later over the phone if I remembered. I was interested in the medical spa treatments because getting them here vesus the dermatologist means the potential for a more relaxing day but trying to contact that side of the spa is a chore. It took a few tries to reach someone on the med spa side to schedule something, you frequently reach a voice-mail box during business hours. I managed to book it and get the confirmation messages only to notice the time is off from what we had discussed when booking. Thought about calling back but decided to roll with it because it was already kind of annoying. A week before the appointment I was still on vacation and decided to reschedule because theres a spa where Im staying and we were extending our trip by ten days so I would miss it anyways. I asked my husband to move my appointment for me and assumed he was doing something wrong when three days later he let me know he hasnt been able to reach anyone. I took over and got the voice mail once again... I had to call the day spa and the kind woman who answered walked over to the med spa and I was then able to speak with someone. Ive never had such a hard time getting in contact with a spa so I felt weird about it and decided to cancel instead and maybe stick to their day spa side. I thought it was a little funny they didnt attempt to retain the appointment on their own offering a reschedule or something but its on brand I guess? 100% no for the med spa. Hard maybe for the day spa for the services but not the amenities, by their definition I also have a eucalyptus steam shower at home.

Another person that stood out to me was April; she helped me so much pull this day together and get her team together to make this day happen she was very sweet; super helpful and made booking a spa day for the girls an amazing experience ❤️ cannot recommend this spa enough we will definitely be returning! 💕

If I could do 4.5, probably would do that. Nice to have a stand alone spa. Friendly staff. Jasmine did a great deep tissue, which helped with my knots. The ambiance was restful and peaceful. A group of us enjoyed sitting on the patio. Most of us were first time guests, and we all had different experiences with the facilities, a little confusing, particularly how to use lockers, protocols for cash tipping vs on the card, where to put robes, slippers at the end. Price is a bit on high end.

The website had an opening for the couples reconnect message package, they called and said they didnt have enough staff to support their online bookings. So I was messaged at 10am and my husband was at 4:30pm. Did we get a champagne toast, NO. Did we get our chocolate lava cake, NO. Were we over charged for the whole experience, YES. The web page looks better than what they have to offer as far as amenities. The anti-gravity room has three fish tanks that are practically empty. The fire room has a bar and some chairs to sit and stare at other people. It was snowing outside, too cold to sit in the 4 person hot tub. The atrium has boho chic furniture that looks nice but feels like old rope. The only positive thing I can say is the message was decent. I specifically told the guy where my most troublesome spots were and he obviously didnt listen. Just like the 35 dollar message, they do the same technique on one side as they do the other. Stroke one arm, do the same to the other, Stroke one leg do the same to the other. So why bother ask me where Im sore or having problems if your not going to spend majority of the time on that area? OVER RATED FACILITY

I have never pampered myself so this was my first time. And let me say OMG this was amazing. Your allowed to stay all day. There are plenty amenities and the staff is amazing. I will be back!

Everything was incredibly nice, but felt a tad overpriced for what was offered. The service I received was $275 ($316.25 with a 15% gratuity) and although it was wonderful, Im not sure if it was worth $300. I used to receive medical massage therapy after a car accident and for $80 a service I received a much deeper and thorough massage through that service. The extras (mini mud mask, foot scrub, drink, food) were my favorite parts as the massage itself was nothing special. Because of this, when you buy a package or service, take advantage of the other amenities! A spa package includes access to the rest of the facility (jellyfish meditation room, hot tub, sauna, fireplace, women’s lounge) and if you don’t spend at least half your day here, an 80 minute service will not feel worth the $300 you spent.

Had a great facial today as always. Love all of the aestheticians and the massage therapists. The spa setting is second to none! I just need to spend more time there enjoying it.

Went here with a friend to celebrate her Birthday. Our Massage was booked for 6 pm, we got there at 5:30. The girl in the front office was sweet. However the whole experience felt rushed. We picked some add on the massage some facial mud, I think that cut in to the massage time. That was not communicated to us. If it was we would have not had it. The massage was meh! there was no flow, felt like the masseuse was all over the place. my friend felt the same way as well. I guess they were closing at 9 and we felt reminded all the time. Did not feel the value for money!

There have definitely been growing pains since moving to Rancharrah, and I stopped coming in for quite some time as a result. I am happy to say that they have hit a new stride in their operations and have revived their personable charm: remembering, appreciating and acknowledging their members (something which had previously fallen by the wayside throughout the expansion, pandemic, and all that fun stuff). This genuine client appreciation is how Dolce Vita earned my loyalty in the first place.While definitely a luxury, you actually get a lot of bang for your buck here. Between delicious craft cocktails or mocktails with your treatments, decadent treatment add-ons, fabulous Aesthetic Academy events and the recent oh-so-adorable Mother’s Day tea service, they really do have something for everyone at a wide variety of price points. I can’t wait to bring my girlfriends to Fireside Reception events, I hope they start occurring more regularly because they are fabulous!!Cayleigh, Nastasia and April at the day spa front desk are all so charming, positive and welcoming without being pretentious nor snotty in demeanor. (Did I also mention this spa is local and female-owned? How cool is that?!) She always seems to be tweaking things to improve both day spa and med spa, and her attention to these matters really shines as the spa continues to evolve. I also really appreciate that she has continued to include an $85 baseline membership, which keeps this beautiful facility accessible to the community at large.I *do* wish the Body-In-Balance massage wasn’t quite so superficial (you used to be able to get medium pressure in their signature massage), but the deep tissue upgrade is 100% worth it! Guest recovery services have some room for improvement, but it seems like the whole team is trying to do better in that regard. And it shows.Thank you for being my wellness sanctuary, Team DV! The massages and staff were great; sadly, that’s where the positive reviews end. For over $600 for the Connected Couples “retreat”, we left incredibly underwhelmed and disappointed.After the massage, we were given a tour and shown our lockers. After my fiancé and I put our belongings away, we went to the bar to get the complimentary treat for the package- it was a glass of champagne for each of us and a molten lava cake to share.We sat outside at the lounge, but came on the day groundskeepers were doing maintenance- it wasn’t quiet or private whatsoever.The “Ocean Lounge” had NO jellyfish at all, and the only explanation was that they are in “transition”. There was such limited seating that we would not have even been able to sit next to each other.The men’s “lounge” had a tiny sauna, with a broken shower faucet. While the women’s had a steam shower (the eucalyptus aspect is simply a spray you use) and a sauna that couldn’t be adjusted. There is a brighter lounge space only for women, but again was disappointed that their complementary snack was a simple packaged brownie from Costco.Overall, we felt the amount of money spent did not reflect the value of our experience. If you are looking for a true date day where you can spend quality time together as a couple, look elsewhere.

I spent a couple of hours in total paradise. From the second I entered the Spa, I knew this was something spectacular. I am in awe of the beautiful surroundings and the professional and kind staff. I had the most fantastic massage; my therapist was incredibly skilled and took the time to listen to my concerns. I am still in awe of the state-of-the-art massage table; you have to go check it out. After the massage, I spent some time relaxing, soaking in the fabulous atmosphere in the sea room, listening to the sound of the water, mesmerized by the beauty of the jellyfish. From the start to my reluctant exit, the entire experience was one that I will be repeating soon.

We had scheduled 3 massage appointments for myself, mom, and sister. We scheduled this time for my sisters baby shower and to spend time together. Our experience here was extremely poor. This was our first time here and I will not be coming back. As my mom and sister got called for their appointments, I was still waiting to be called. After 15 minutes of no one coming, I reached out to inquire why I was not called for my appointment. They looked up the masseuse I was supposed to be scheduled with, and then told me that she thought she had the day off so she is not here. We had confirmed these appointments 3 times with them so I was confused how something like this could happen. If I hadnt inquired, no one would have come to make sure I had my massage appointment. Instead of owning up to the mistake in scheduling, I was giving a choice of a facial (not complimentary) or a massage appointment 4 hours later from our scheduled time (also no discount). I was offered a free drink. An hour later, the manager then came to speak to us and shared that the masseuse was not here because of a snow delay and that someone had to go pick her up; however, this was a lie because the other staff had already shared that the masseuse thought she had the day off. Also, if the masseuse was picked up and brought to work, why would my new suggested appointment be 4 hours later? The manager did not treat us with empathy and made us feel like we were being unreasonable for a mistake on their part. Extremely poor management and lack of professionalism from all besides the bartender. I haven’t been here as the appointment my husband made for me using their website was canceled almost 30 mins after booking. My husband booked a Nirvana Dream Package for me for my birthday on their website and then the receptionist called him right after to say there was actually no availability for the service on that day and that sadly they had already charged his card but he would be refunded in 3 to 5 business days. Since when do spas charge for a service before actually performing the service??? Seems like a scam to me. I’m used to paying deposits for appointments, but not paying in full up front. This place seems fishy to me, be careful booking here!

I went here for a pregnancy massage and had a terrible experience. Unsolicited and completely inappropriate medical and pregnancy advice, therapist talked almost the entire massage, she ended the massage early, overworked some areas and skipped entire sections of my body. I left both stressed and in pain and tried to contact management to report it. I never even heard back from anyone.

I booked the mother daughter package and came in here with my mom the other day, and was honestly a bit let down from my entire experience. Bianca who did our massages and Tiffany who did our facials were PHENOMENAL and the only reason I am leaving some stars on this review.The rest of the experience was difficult - there was trash everywhere with trash cans overflowing and no paper towels provided, the ladies locker room showers didn’t work and smelled like pee, our nail tech smelled like cigarettes, and the service from the front desk ladies was poor and we were treated rudely like we were inconveniencing them on a few occasions. They did not give my mom a tour of the facilities just pointed in the direction of the locker room so she didn’t know all of the amenities and when it came time to pay we waited 10 minutes before hunting down someone to help that was too busy gossiping with the bartender to want to come help us. When she did come to help she was demanding and rude to me, ultimately ending our relaxing day on a bad note. It’s a shame because this spa was beautiful, and the therapists were great at what they did but the rest of the staff made the very very pricey experience feel fairly trashy. I’m a bit upset I spent so much money just to leave feeling disappointed. Hopefully it was just an off day for the staff..

This place is amazing. My husband treated me to one of the experience packages. And my oh my it was wonderful. They have a blue room with jelly fish and nice areas to relax and delicious drink choices. The only reason I cant give this place five stars is because I was highly disappointed in my luxe Mani Pedi. It was hardly luxurious or relaxing and they do a better job with more pampering at a normal nail salon at less than half the price. Also my nails are already chipped and its been two days.

I have gone to this spa a few times now and its not a bad experience in the spa, its the customer service. For 2 different visits, I was double charged for the treatment. 80% of the time when I call I end up on hold for 30 minutes to an hour. For Christmas last year I got a giftcard, that expires by the end of this year. I scheduled an appointment to use it. Today I got called away to a work assignment and had to cancel same day. I called once and was on hold for 20 minutes. I called back a second time and was on hold for 10 minutes and then was hung up on. I called a 3rd time and no answer. On the fourth time, I got answered and had to rapid fire just ask for my appointment to be canceled. Very frustrating, you are much better suited to going to a different spa.

I have been to Dolce Vita many times and always enjoyed my experience. Upon receiving a giftcard for my birthday, I booked a massage over my holiday break over a month ago. Due to the road closures from I-80 and Mt. Rose Highway, I was trapped up in Tahoe patiently awaiting the opening of either highway to return home (I had been stuck up there for 3 days). The roads opened less than an hour before my massage, so I did my best to make it on time but was running 20 minutes late. I am aware of the cancellation fee Dolce Vita has in place, but I was hoping they would work with me due to the unforeseen circumstances. Not only was I unable to come to my appointment late, I had to pay for my 80 minute massage in full. I was unable to use the giftcard I had received for my birthday to cover the late-cancellation feel. Extremely disappointing.

10/10 would definitely recommend. the service was impeccable and so affordable, all the staff was extremely kind.

I LOVE this place! Its like they ACTUALLY put thought into what would make a massage experience more enjoyable. I cant attest to their facials, as I havent had one yet, but I know that my two massages with Ciara have been wonderful. They think of every little detail here, down to offering ponytail holders and bobby pins while youre changing. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Has the most incredible and friendly front staff. They greet you with smiles and a sense of happy. They also have some of the best therapist that I have ever had. I have never felt so amazing after every one of my massages there. Highly suggest the Deep Tissue or CBD.

I will start by saying I’m a very picky person with massages.The spa is very clean, staff is so friendly and most important the masseuse was amazing!I had Sam for a 50 minute deep tissue today and I’m feeling so rejuvenated!I like a strong massage and got exactly what I wanted. Overall I would definitely recommend and absolutely go back.

Wonderfully relaxing. Be the best you at this spa. Went with my girlfriends for a massage and facial package. Will definitely be back again. The serenity room is delightful. I want to design a room just like it in my home.The staff were also so kind and attentive. I’m still breastfeeding and they even provided me with a private space to pump.

The first time I visited I absolutely loved it. However since then the quality of what you are paying for has gone down significantly. Those of us who work hard and save for special treats like this definitely noticed. I was disappointed in my last experience and when I spoke to the manager Vlad he was far from understanding and compassionate. He treated me like someone who just wanted a discount and dismissed my feelings right away. He was condescending and rude. I then reached out to the owner Nyla to let her know what happened and she does not seem to care as I have heard no response. I won’t be going again and am very sad that my special day was ruined by disappointment and Vlads rude demeanor. Here are some 1st visit and 2nd visit pics so you can compare the quality. The ocean room with jelly fish maybe had two sad jelly fish in it andThe amazing 30$ bistro box I got the first visit compared to the 30$ salami snack tray they gave me the second time.

I do not recommend coming here if you plan to use the Spa Finder gift cards; when I went checkout they would only allow me to use one spa finder ($50)The spa finders were gifted to me (Costco sells 2 $50) Its pretty crummy when you think someone gifted you a massage but you end up having to pay for the majority out of pocket. When I contested this with the manager Melissa she commented that she wished they would get rid of spa finder, making me feel unwelcome or like I was asking for a handout. She then tried to call me later telling me she wanted to make things right and if I would come back she would give me and my husband a great price on a couples massage. I told her you had your opportunity to make things right when I was standing in front of you in your day spa. Dont call me after I called to get your name to write my review. If you value your customers you should show them that while they are in your presence.

I can’t say enough great things about this spa and their services. I was a member at the old location and WOW has it just kept getting better and better. All of the therapists are amazing and their new facility is truly top notch. Grab a drink at the bar and take it out by the fire pit with a view of the lake and snow covered the mountains while you wait to be pampered. Hit the eucalyptus sauna after your session or the jacuzzi or maybe even hang out in the jelly fish lounge. Seriously- this place is amazing.
