I frequent this store quite a lot, and all of the staff is great. However, I want to give a special shout out to Celena, Hailey, and Cain for always being so affable and helpful with every transaction! Ethan, who is the store manager is phenomenal too!

Dont seem to ever have what were looking for for our vapes. We use a certain pod for our Smok vapes and they dont ever stock what Im looking for. They carry about 4 or 5 different brands of disposable vapes, kind of expensive. Very limited selection of vape juice. And again not what I like. Theyre really close to where I live but they dont have anything I need except disposables I dont use those. Its not for me. Would save me a lot of time if they took a hint and ordered what I needed. Theyve never offered once in 4 years. Kinda lame.

Everyone here (and at the other Rays) is always super friendly and knows a helluva lot about the products.This is one of those stores you go to loyally and where they eventually know your name but wont force you to engage in small talk beyond that.Im sold!

They overprice everything. Literally any other smoke shop in northern Nevada is cheaper by at least $20. You can go the the websites of these products and get it either cheaper or the same price. Most of the older staff seem snobbish and uptight which is the wrong vibe for a smoke shop. They seem to cater to the more upscale customers then anyone else and their prices reflect that. They are just price gouging everything sometimes to a 100% margin compared to other stores that have the same products.

If I could I would give this store a 0 for standing behind their products. I bought alum float at 1:51 October 27 2023 by 3:00 o’clock October 28 the pen stopped working. And all the store can tell me is once you buy it then that’s it so basically they sold me a bad unit wouldn’t fix the situation and can careless that now I’m out of my money which was all I had left till I get paid again. I will never go to Smok N Ray ever again that was my 1st time and it will be my last time. I didn’t drop the pen or do anything but smoke it. Very disappointed of their customer satisfaction cause they can careless as long as they got the money it’s all good. Obviously this pen was either old or defected. I would advise you not to spend your money there. Go somewhere were they care about the customer and not the mighty dollar I spent 17 dollars for a pen that last from 1 something to 3 something the next day. 🤬😡😠🤬😡

I went in to get some flavored cigars...60$ worth and I talked to the employee behind the desk. I specifically told him I was from California and I wanted flavored cigars because they dont have them where I live. I specifically asked for grape cigars. when I told him I want all the grape flavors he threw a bunch or purple colored cigars in a bag. I paid for the cigars and left. When I got to the hotel I was staying at I looked happily into the bag and discovered that a bunch were not flavored but regular cigars. I wasnt mad at this point I went to exchange my cigars for other flavored cigars on the way back home and they denied me a trade!!!$15 dollars worth of pointless cigars I dont even smoke...Super unfair!! it wasnt my fault your employee doesnt know the difference you should have just exchanged the cigars you sold me for flavored ones...that would have been fair!!! I spent good money here and basically feel like they stole my money. Super unhappy and never going back!!! Stay away they are inexperienced employees and super unfair to customers.

Bought a $35 torch here and within 7 days it was leaking butane out the top. Went to go exchange it and was told the bosses done allow exchanges or returns on the special blue torches. I spent $35 on a piece of useless plastic. I asked for the best torch when I walked in and this is what was recommended to me.

Love the staff. They have always been super helpful. Prices are good. They know their products and are quick to make suggestions if you tell them what you are looking for. Never disappoint.

Prices are reasonable. The place is immaculate, very clean but the staff... some are down right rude, uninterested or unprofessional. Others, exceptional service and knowledge. Just depends on who is working. If you have a problem with a transaction, good luck! Managers appear not to have any authority to rectify issues and retain customers.

Great staff, good selection of disposable vapes. However for a smoke shop not good to only have 1 case of regular vapes& case probably only 10% full. Very poor selection. Store huge with 90% of store dedicated to accessories for smoking that wacky tobacky lol…

Hands down the best smoke shop/ head shop in Reno. Kai, a very friendly and knowledgeable employee guided me to the product I was looking for and took the time to educate me about other options and made sure I left with exactly what I wanted. An effort that is becoming uncommon in the workforce! Thank you Kai!The owner happened to be in during my visit and took the time out of his day restocking to stop and talk with me about how I was doing and if I was able to find everything I was looking for. We continued to talk for another ten minutes or so before I left. As a first time customer, I was very pleased with the experience, the prices and the overall friendliness of the place. I will not be spending a dime at any other smoke shop!!

Friendly, helpful staff. Very well stocked store. I could have just browsed for probably an hour if I had had the time. Prices are reasonable and they have a points program for regular customers that is super easy to use.

I absolutely love this place and the people, They are always really helpful even when I ask 1000 questions or want to view multiple pieces from multiple locked cabinets. Some are more experienced and knowledgeable than others but there has never been a time where I wasnt satisfied walking out of that store.

Every time I’ve gone here I’ve ended up with a counterfeit vape which is very common now in Reno/Sparks!! I’m done wasting my money on something that burns out in a day when it should last at-least a week and half to 2 weeks! Quite mixing in real ones with counterfeits!!!

This was my first visit to aSmoke n Rays but it was high-ly recommended (lol). Today I was just stopping in for blunt wraps and they were kind of low on them because the whole pandemic shipping crisis. I did see some pretty cool accessories and stuff in there that Id like to go back and buy. They sell the brand Dime Bags and Nickel Sacks stash bags there. The cashier lady was very helpful and friendly.

I ordered on Thursday evening and I was unclear that they were not delivering anymore and I have been asking for a refund since yesterday, it is now Sat and I was told that no one in the store knew how to give a next day refund and I would have to wait for the owner to come back into town and that he would be back Friday night or Saturday morning. I asked for them to have the owner give me a notification that the refund was processed and the employee then tells me that the owner wont be in till 4pm. I am starting to think I will never get my money back and I cant go to the store as that is a long walk for me and I am mostly bedridden. I am so upset I could just spit blood and I dont recommend them since they are shady and no one in the store can give me a refund and I feel like I am being lied to.

Service is always excellent. Good selection of juice, smokes and other accessories. Also, they have a points reward program which tells me thsy care and appreciate their customer. A bit pricey on some things but the point system makes up for it.

Well Id rather give no stares but Im forced to give some sort of a rating so...First customer skills are at a far low. Employee dose not know how to talk to the customer. More about hurrying you out and making you feel weird. Not much of a selection. The glass is to expensive for just the simplest of items like a chillim. Finally no returns!? Even after I just bought it not even an half hour ago...scetchy! why give out a receipt then...makes no since. I will not return to this establishment again no return! %0

Went looking for a specific product listed on the store website at the Moana store, but when I went in the guy at the counter had no idea what I was talking about, seemed disinterested, and wouldnt even look to see if it was in stock. Went to the branch on kietzke, and the guy there was very helpful and verified that the Moana store did in fact have my product.

Atrocious customer service. My bf bought a vape yesterday that doesn’t work. He came back today to exchange it, but they say they can’t exchange without a receipt and are unwilling to look in their records and reprint a receipt. He presented his bank statement showing the purchase yesterday but they still won’t do the exchange. (Again, just asking for an exchange, not a refund). This was after being forgotten on hold on the telephone and never receiving a promised call back. Another staff member suggested buying the device on Amazon as it would “probably be cheaper” and then proceeded to complain about how much COVID hurt small businesses. Yes, you’re right. Covid (and Amazon) do hurt small businesses. You know what else hurts small businesses? Awful customer service. We will certainly not go back. I would advise others to avoid it as well.

This place is unreliable and unprofessional. I have never seen the same person behind the counter.......they have no clue the product they are selling if they even have it in stock! I have never been so frustrated with a business ! When you walk in its almost a bother to them they have to stand up and answer a question which is always no we dont have it!

The shop is fairly nice but how could you buy something from someone who treats you like youre nonexistant. Social skills are very low, the females working completely ignored me and my fiance look past us. When the young female came to the case we were at she sat on her phone. No acknowledgement towards us I was intrested in buying some pieces like the puffco and then she refuted that we have to save for it, we wouldnt look if we didnt.. I was looking to spend a great amount to get a steady piece. Instantly left... next shop .

The staff at this store are absolutely terrible. I have never had any complaints about any other smokn rays store except for this one. They have 2 or 3 other stores, go to those. The people and atmosphere are a lot better. Save yourself the agony of dealing with terrible associates and go to a different store.

Had a Mod given to me and couldnt fine a could for this tank. This was one of the only places I found, after calling around to many, many places that had one. Great service, was in and out if there with in minutes.

Bought a exxus snap vv battery vape it was a 2 year old product ended up not fitting any of the newer style carts that I purchase the owner was very willing to help me with this and made sure I was able to return the product and purchase the wolf uni which has adjustable height for shorter cartridge and adjustable width for wider carts on the owners recommendation it works very easy and is very nice I really appreciate the customer service the owner provided as he took care of it today and I purchased the exxus battery last night on the 25th of Aug and on the 26th I have my new battery that works very nicely havent had it long but it hits very strong they also have a very large nice selection of glass

This place is over rated. Save your money and go across the street to World of Smoke or even Honeycomb.
