Main Spa - Best Asian Massage Renton

My husband and I have been to many massage places in different places, but this one is the most satisfactory to me. The environment is good, and the massage master is very patient and enthusiastic. I highly recommend this one.

Not only did she go out of her way to give me facial massage after I told her I was experiencing pain on my temples, she also made sure I was comfortable at all times. I definitely recommend you visit this spot if you need to unwind .

The massage was adequate and met my basic expectations.Tipping Pressure: The most uncomfortable part of my visit was the pressure to tip excessively. After nervously offering $3 as a tip, the masseuse continued to demand more money. Even after adding an additional $5, the pressure did not stop. This made me feel obligated and uncomfortable. Tipping should be voluntary and not demanded.Provide training to staff members on appropriate etiquette regarding tips and customer interactions.While the massage itself was satisfactory, the uncomfortable tipping experience overshadowed the visit. I hope these issues can be addressed to provide a more pleasant experience for future customers.

I come here monthly.Very clean and nice staff. Some massages are better than the others just depends on the person. I wish it was a little more professional / organized in the sense of being able to book certain people / and them asking you what your main body focuses are, and what type of pressure you desire regarding your pain. I’ve just learned I have to tell them lol but over all very affordable and nice place to unwind.

You don’t need a Groupon to get the best deal. Ask for a 60 minute couple’s massage and tell them you’ll pay in cash. ;) The ladies are strong and the hot stones and bags are nice. It’s the best price for what you get and they can almost always get my husband and I in, even if we book last minute.My biggest tips are: Never be late (they still stop at the same time), park in the lot next to the gun store/thrift shop, ask for hard pressure (it’s easy to take away pressure than add it) and never get booked for a massage after 12pm. The ladies are all best, most energetic and give the best massage in the morning.Every massage we’ve had past 1pm has been less than ideal pressure. We’ve had probably a dozen couples’ massages in the last 3 years.

Best & professional massage place close to my house. Julie is the one to go to if you’re looking for a deep tissue massage. They even use hot stones and heating pads in their sessions! Would definitely recommend this place.

My wife and I got a couples massage as a gift for here, I wish we had scheduled it sooner. Im a big guy and my massage was done by a lady that didnt even come up to my shoulder. 🤣The technique and pressure were perfect. I wasnt expecting to be walked on but my back feel so good because she did. I will definitely schedule here again and could not recommend it more for a very good massage.

Don’t really write reviews but this place is too good it’s hard not to. I’ve been going to Serenity Foot Massage for a couple months now and honestly say it’s my favorite spot for a great massage. They offer deep tissue massage and includes hot stones/towel. Staff is very welcoming and the place is clean. Lily did an amazing job working all the knots out of my shoulders and back. Recommend this place to anyone looking for a satisfying massage for a reasonable price.

I had a really uncomfortable experience here after receiving a 1hr massage treatment. When I arrived, they made me pay up front (which I thought was really strange). I paid cash, but when they took my money, they didnt give me change. I had to awkwardly wait and explain to them that I wanted my change back before my service started. It was weird enough that I had to pay beforehand, but I wasnt comfortable waiting until later just to get my change back. Needless to say, my massage didnt start with me feeling very relaxed. I moved past it though and got ready for my massage. All in all, the massage was alright. They didnt really listen to me when I explained how much pressure to use on my more sensitive areas, so I was really sore immediately after. They also didnt rub my feet at all and did relatively nothing to make sure I was comfortable throughout the treatment (i.e.: the sheet was constantly slipping off and barely covering my body so I was cold for the majority of the time).I felt like I was being rushed out and didnt enjoy the experience. On the way out, they DEMANDED A TIP and actually blocked me from leaving by stepping in my way after handing me their punch card and water...There are better places with better service in Renton. I will not be back after this.

I went there yesterday for 1st time using a Groupon. I got there a little early (15 min). Seems they do not like people to get there early. Place was clean & had nice atmosphere. I was not asked what I wanted or if I had areas needing specific attention. Part of the massage on my back was very nice. I did not like the part where she went over me just putting on pressure like a rolling pin. Weird, I have had a lot of massages. Never had that done before. I have had hot stones previously, usually left on trouble areas to relax the muscles. She did not do that, she moved the stones around very quickly. She did not really massage my arms or legs nor my feet. She never did introduce herself and I found her very hard to understand. Prior to leaving, she strongly suggested a $10 tip. I will not be going back.

I am absolutely gutted I have to write this review because I really liked this spot. I have been going here for a few months now. Each time I have went was a spur the moment and have always just walked in and been serviced. My experience the last two times has me officially being done with this place, which inconveniences me because it’s relatively close to my house. I went in a few weeks ago for a walk in which isn’t out of the ordinary since I have walked in the past 5-6 times. She told me she had an appointment and could not service me, I understood and decided I would go make myself busy and call later to see if they were still busy. I called some time later (over an hour) and she said “come now” so I drove back and was seated waiting for a therapist. After waiting 10-15 minutes a lady came out and said they did not have time. This was disappointing and very aggravating because she had just told me to come. Fast forward to today, I call before leaving my house because I know better at this point. She asks if I can “come now” I said I can be there in 5 minutes. I arrive to the spa only to be told because I do not have an appointment they cannot service me and the gal sat in front of me giggling as if my frustration was funny. I said “it’s not funny” she said “I know, it’s our manager who scheduled people but she did not check with us”. This is now the second time this has occurred, I will not be returning. Truly lost a customer who comes in close to three times a month. So I guess word of advice, book an appointment. Overall services are good.

2 weeks ago I shopped a place close to home to get a massage. After doing a bit of research and read reviews. I decided to try Main Spa, so I made an appointment. Once I arrived I asked the owner if they used fragrant oil and she said no and showed me the oil that would be used. I am highly allergic to most fragrances and cause anxiety when exposed to it.Happy to say my massage was fantastic.So I returned today for another massage session which was fantastic until the masseuse started to use a rose scented lotion on my face. So much for fantastic massage.I had to run out and take a shower and wash my clothes.Doubtful I will return.Gary M

The massage I received was not good and when I expressed my disappointment she demanded that I pay a $20 tip! Also, if your black they make you pay up front which sounds pretty racist. In addition, i checked my bank account and they charged me $4 on top of what they charged me.

Just found this place this week and saw some great reviews so want to test it out. I booked a couple one hour massage. It was good experience. My wife loved it. I had good experience but not enough for five star. The staff there are really nice. It is a place on the list for revisit.

Clean place but terrible massage. Really dissatisfied :/. First, they rescheduled me and then when I arrived they were confused about my appointment. Then they make you pay BEFORE the service, very sketchy. The massage itself was just awful, I didn’t know you could get a bad massage to be honest. The lady didn’t ask about what to focus on, any injuries, ect(she also didn’t speak English). It felt like she had zero training and was just a very unpleasant experience. I’m super bummed about this place, I had high expectations based on the Google reviews!! Will not be coming back, I completely wasted my money. Today, was my second time at this spa. The first time was great and I tipped generously. I even thought to myself, I have found a new massage place. Nope!I was placed in the room close to the entrance and I had my misgivings about that because thats an area that is bound to be noisy but I didnt say anything.Fifteen minutes into my massage, a tall, white customer wearing a red hoodie walked in. How would I know this? Because, she left the door wide open and my butt exposed to the world! I should have left but I didnt . She then left 2 more times when other walk-in customers came in. All left in disappointment, because they were fully booked. At the end of the massage, she had the audacity to ask for a tip two times!! I said no. The sad part is, the massage was really good and Im never going back.

I got a couples massage here with my fiancé. It was very nice. The two ladies obviously knew what they were doing and were very attentive. This was my first massage ever, from anywhere, and I would definitely return. My whole body feels amazing!

My fiancé and I got a couples massage here and needless to say this was the best massage I have ever had. My total number is up to 10 different massage places along the west coast and one of those was in Singapore. What made this time stand out was the fact that my masseuse was able to apply the perfect amount of pressure and find my tight spots. All kind of techniques were used and attention was given from the top of my head to the bottoms of my feet. Our package also included hot stones which were amazing. What really stood out was the way they worked in stretches for the shoulder and hip areas. Lastly, this place offers a punch card, and I am for sure going to make this my regular massage place. In the past this place was ok, but after the last couple of experiences I have to give this place 1 star. Very unprofessional of taking phone calls and answering the door when someone comes in. They raised their rates, you hope that means you will get quality service. Unfortunately it is not worth the money. In a 30 minute period my massage was interrupted 6 times, I thought about cutting my 90 minute session to only a 60 minute. In the entire 90 minutes I was interrupted over 10 times. In the beginning she was apologizing, after 6th time she just stopped saying sorry. I really should have been offered a discounted rate for all the disturbances. They really need someone to answer the calls and the front door if they are going to take walk-in clients. Appointments are probably better to do, but as I read in other reviews, it doesnt mean anything, because she doesnt write down anything because she is busy massaging. So she either forgets or thats just how they do business. Now i have to find a better, and more professional establishment.

Fantastic massage! My husband and I did the couples massage after a week of hiking in WA national parks and our sore muscles have never felt better! Clean, comfortable, and relaxing. They really knew how to focus on the sore spots and work them out. Definitely would return if we lived in town, and highly recommend!

Went for a 90 min massage earlier this month and it was soo good! Shishi did my massage and it was so relaxing, just the right amount of pressure and I could feel such a huge difference in my muscles afterwards. Totally recommend!

I was terrified I payed for a hour massage and the woman massage if my me was vey sick.?she even though up. It was a nightmare especially with covid goin on . She the ran out the room and let another person massage me who was also very sick coughing and vomiting. Fare waring be very careful with this place

I always bring my two dogs, corgi and husky, here every time after a muddy dog park day. They always come out freshly clean and happy. The cost here is worth it because I know they are being taken care of well and bathed thoroughly and I am satisfied.
