Every time I come to Bunya Tree Spa, I leave feeling rejuvenated. June is a talented and intuitive masseuse. She is welcoming, kind, warm and sets a relaxing tone. When I express which areas on the body to focus on, she addresses those areas and more. I’m always happy that I went, and always look forward to coming back. I would highly recommend Bunya Tree Spa, it is a gem in Richmond.

Amazing massage!! I was experiencing back pain and overall stiffness and booked a 90 min hot stone massage and feel brand new. She massaged my whole body but also focused on the exact trouble areas and relieved knots in my back. The space is relaxing, quiet, and most importantly clean. I can’t wait to go back!

Outstanding quality service and a hidden gem in Richmond! June is one of the most thoughtful and talented massage therapists I have ever been to. She carefully addressed areas of intense pain in my lower back and knees. Now I feel significantly more relief than before and my body feels more normal than it has been in years. She takes good care of you from the moment you arrive, greets you with a big smile and gives you her undivided attention all throughout. I’ve been twice and can’t wait to schedule my next appointment!

A hidden gem! Ive had a 60 minute deep tissue massage and an 80 minute hot stone massage both done by June. Both massages have been great. Prices for massages are really reasonable and they always have some kind of deal going on. When you arrive, you are always welcomed in with a big smile and a foot soak/scrub. The foot soak/scrub is a great additional touch to the whole experience. This reminded me of the massages Ive had when I was living in Thailand where they always precede a massage with a foot scrub. I appreciate how Bunya Tree Spa brings this into their practice. Also, if you pay with cash, you will receive a $5 discount. I highly recommend Bunya Tree Spa and I am already looking forward for my next massage here.

I’ve had two heavenly massages here and am so glad I found this lovely spot. They really know how to make you feel cared for and are well trained in their massage techniques. I not only feel better when I leave, but the openness and ease of movement lasts for weeks afterward.

I had a really good experience with June. I booked 1hr deep tissue with 30 min foot reflexology. It was amazing, my body was so tight and sore, she knew how to work it and made me feel more relaxed. She just does the right pressure and really knows the correct spots to hit. Her place felt safe, clean and very cozy.

I would give more stars if I could. I woke up this morning with the most painful stiff neck where I did not even have any range of motion. I booked a last minute massage at Bunyan Tree and thankfully there were availability, I had no idea what to expect but hoped for the best — and the best massage I got!!!!June is a miracle worker!! She gave me a custom massage of deep tissue, Thai and hot stone massage. My body felt amazing right after and my neck fixed! On top of that, the price is so reasonable! I’m so glad to have discovered June, can’t wait for my next massage!!

June gave me the best massage I have ever had! I came to her with a specific pain, and I felt like she worked creatively and diligently to help relieve my pain - in her words. She seemed to dedicated to alleviating my pain, and it was such a success! Her space was clean, warm and peaceful. There was a heated massage table and plenty of heated towels. I whole heartedly recommend Bunya Tree Spa and hope to return many times!

I just did the 2 hour Thai Signature Massage and it was amazing! Everything June did was focused and with intention. There were nice touches throughout, including a foot soak and heating pads. My upper and lower back were super tight, but she was able to loosen it up. Everything felt better afterwards- even my hands, forearms and scalp felt amazing! I 100% recommend going to Bunya Tree Spa!

June and Rita did an excellent job in easing our tense muscles due to having bad posture and computer work all day long. Even my husband who is new to getting professional massages enjoyed the experience. We definitely recommend this place. They’re a true Richmond gem.

June is really amazing and sweet. My husband booked a pregnancy massage session but we never made it as the baby came early, decided to try again in celebration of me turning 40. I am so glad I did, kindda of annoyed that I didnt earlier actually. The price was reasonable. She was attentive and really worked my shoulders, which need much TLC. I did the full head to toe package + scrubs and was giving discount as it was my birthday. If youre on the fence, I hope you lean in and give it a try, it is definitely worth your while.

Hands down the BEST massage I have ever had in my life. I just had it done this morning and I can’t stop talking about it.I booked a 60 minute Swedish massage but after the first 5 minutes, I wished I booked a 90 minute massage! (…Or two hours if that was an option, lol.)The foot scrub in the beginning was also the perfect touch! I felt so pampered and it helped me unwind for my massage.Everyone there at Bunya Tree Spa were so welcoming and accommodating.I live in Sacramento and it was 100% worth the drive. Total hidden gem.

I’ve gotten a massage at Bunya Tree a few times now and each time has been great. Today I came in with terrible neck and shoulder pain and June went above and beyond in trying to get the knots out and it was the best deep tissue massage i’ve had in years.

This is the best Thai massage Ive received since living in Thailand. June is warm, professional and very skillful. My first time at Bunya...I usually get a deep tissue massage and June didnt disappoint. She made sure to ask throughout the therapy if the pressure was good adjusting as needed.I also like how she incorporated stretching . I believe that would be the Thai massage. Im able to get that extra stretch that I otherwise wouldnt be able to accomplish by myself.I will be returning as soon as I can.

I was gifted a massage for my Bday this past Saturday and they found this cute little place not too far from me. Upon arrival June greeted me at the door with a warm welcome and a quick foot soak infused with oranges. I love how prompt she was and just the sweetest. It was the best massage Ive had had. When it was time for me to go, she gifted me and Birthday card with a small voucher inside. I thought that was very thoughtful given that she didnt know it was my Birthday until I mentioned it. It was my first time massage at Bunya Tree Spa. I did both head and foot massage. It was relaxing and felt sleep at the end. I never experienced such a relaxed and calming massage before. The customer service was nice and polite. Gladly recommend Bunya Massage in my neighborhood.

Just had my second massage with Rida at Bunya Tree Spa and just like last time it was amazing. After turning 40 I’ve had issues with my back, but I always feel much better after my time at Bunya Tree. It’s a real treasure and amazing resource for those of us living in Richmond and the surrounding towns. Rida is an amazing soul and wonder massage therapist. Trust me this is the place for you.

Absolutely wonderful experience! The massage was thoughtful and methodical and she was kind to check in every so often on the pressure.I added the head massage with oil and oh my goodness! I have never drifted off in a massage, but she nearly had me asleep. I will absolutely be back

I was in the Eastbay and in a lot of pain. My low back and arms and feet were hurting so bad! I found this place and June helped me! At first I was so tender but halfway through I started to get real relief. She worked and targeted all my major pain areas and stretched my muscles out. I cannot tell you how much better I feel! I am standing straight and I can feel like normal again. I will definitely be back! I definitely recommend this place. It’s very nice, clean and professional. Thai massage is hands down the best for any aches or pains you are suffering from.

I went here with a lot of back and neck pain and came out feeling very refreshed. The owner made me feel very welcome. You start off in the small sauna in the living room and then move to the massage room. She really spent the time to work on knots I didnt even knew I had, but she could feel them and expertly / intuitively massage the trigger points to get the most relief in my muscles. I highly recommend supporting this lovely local business!

Just got pre-natal massage and June was wonderful!!! I havent felt this relaxed in a very long while. Pressure was perfect, table comfortable, she listened to my needs and focused on my problem areas and establishment is nice and clean 🙂🙂🙂I shall return🙃

I had the thai style massage during my visit here. I must say, Ive had thai style massages before, but this was the most authentic Ive ever experienced! Theres obvious attention to detail here, and they aim to please. Ill be coming back, for sure!

Ive had a lot of massages in different styles. This is honestly one of the very best ever! I had a custom massage which was a combination of her walking on me, hot stones, stretching and deep tissue. She incorporated heat and Im not even sure what else because I was blissed out on a pleasure cloud lol. The space looks like a house on the outside but is professional, beautiful and comfortable inside. She kept checking to make sure I was OK and each time my response was Yes! Sooo good!I will feel confident referring my friends and family and know they will have an amazing experience! So happy to have found Bunya Tree Spa. I will want to come weekly! Masterful. My massage was masterful. I had 2 Traditional Thai Massages with Kritti in NYC and 2 at Bahn Thai Spa on Rue Dauphine in Paris round the corner from Cafe Buci and our airbnb. We took the model Sarah with us one time. And we had one in Edinburgh round the corner from where we were staying on Rose Lane. Today was as good or better than those.
