Ben is hands down the best massage therapist. He has many years of experience and his work speaks for its self. This facility is always clean and the staff here are amazing. Helpful and friendly. I highly recommend Massage Envy in the Loehmann’s Plaza shopping center.

This massage place falls short in several key areas. The quality of massages being completed by novices is concerning. They have a tendency to cancel last minute and lack empathy for the inconvenience caused even though they call you to confirm Locking customers into contracts without the option to leave is also problematic. Additionally, the lack of responsiveness and professionalism from the manager and staff further exacerbates the negative experience. Overall Massage Envy fails to provide satisfactory service and customer care, despite marketing themselves as a premium massage provider.

This is a scam business. They are intentionally evasive about canceling membership and make it incredibly difficult to terminate. Do not go here. Do not sign up for a membership.

Staff are excellent in terms of the customer service and the work they do from the reception to therapists and everyone.Clean and peaceful environment.

Make appointment Tuesday at 6 PM for Wednesday at 12:30 PM. The receptionist tell me: cancel appointment before 24 hours or lost my money. When I arrived, wednesday at 12:25, Massage Envy was canceled my appointment just two hours before. This company pay me for my time lost? What is the rules? Only we have consequences?

Unfortunately my overall experience with this location has been extremely poor. First, I requested a certain pressure level, which I was not given. From the time I entered the massage room to the time i had got into my car after paying and talking for a few moments with the front desk I had only been there for a total of 45 mins. I had paid for a full hour. I tried on multiple occasions to speak with someone (via phone and email) and I just keep getting the same message of I will take your name down and someone will call you back. Disappointing.

I had never gotten a massage, but was so grateful to Christe G for making me feel comfortable and being so informative. I absolutely loved the massage! I hadnt considered getting another massage since I had just been given a gift card, but after having Christe as a masseuse, Im definitely considering getting a membership. She is wonderful and I highly recommend her!

Today I will be canceling my membership of more than 8 years due to this location and a Misunderstanding of dates. I love the therapists but the front desk and the mgmts choice to charge me today will end the relationship. In truth it was my fault I agreed to an appointment 45 min from the text that went out to fill a spot but I’ve been in retail long enough to know keeping the customer is better than $100. Congrats ME.

This is the worst location I’ve ever been to. I can’t seem to get them to keep any of their appointments and I have to wonder if their massage therapists ever work?On two separate occasions prior, my appointment was cancelled due to therapists not coming in.I also had my appointment cancelled and nobody said anything and when I showed up for a facial I also had, the massage had been cancelled out of the system. I said I was done at this point but was talked into giving them one more chance.I scheduled a massage for my birthday and was called the day before to say my original therapist wasn’t going to be in and if I’d switch to someone else. Annoying, but fine. I then get ANOTHER call saying the second therapist isn’t going to be in either and would I like to reschedule. Seriously? This all happened a little over a week ago. I suggest to anyone who actually wants to receive their massage look elsewhere.

True to form.. they cancelled couples massage the day of. My husband bday massage today at 330, they called to cancel. Just like previous reviews stated. So glad I made backup reservations somewhere else.

Massage envy I have had great experiences with... But this one location has really ruined a lot!! I tried to make a prenatal massage for my wife and they forgot to schedule her. Okay thats fine Ill let it slide. Then when they accommodate her and schedule they scheduled the wrong date! They didnt even have a prenatal that day! So they tried again but this time they put down that its a non prenatal massage! We specifically told them prenatal and they were aware of the mistake and end up doing the same thing again... My wife has gone almost 3 weeks without a massage from their mistakes. I will definitely be contacting corporate and get to the bottom of this.

Its been a while since Ive been here. Money is tight and I cant afford to get massages on a regular basis but when I do its always amazing. The staff here is always polite and smiling. The therapist are always very professional and know what they are doing.

I really like my massage therapist - he is the BEST I give 1 star because I consistently get calls from Massage Envy Loehmanns Plaza requesting that I reschedule sessions that have already been confirmed. I got such a call today requesting that I reschedule my appointment to 1030 instead of 1000. The thing is, that appointment was originally scheduled for 1030, and was already rescheduled once (to 1000) at their request. When I explained I couldnt reschedule it back to 1030, I was given a choice of a different massage therapist (no thank you) or to reduce my time to a 60 minute massage, or cancel altogether. I have been a customer of Massage Envy for about 8 years and used to go to Massage Envy Midtown. I was never asked to reschedule my appointments when with Midtown. What is going on at this location that causes appointments to be rescheduled so frequently?

I should have read some of yalls reviews before trying to book an appointment. TWICE. I tried getting a prenatal massage and both times they placed me for a regular 60 minute massage. The first time was at the Midtown location, but they were more accommodating. However, our schedules did not match so I tried Fair oaks... And they STILL booked it wrong. I was very specific on which massage I wanted. This time, they didnt seem like they cared or offered much help.nevrr am I going to try getting a massage here again. So frustrating....

Ive never had a professional massage before, I have to say for a first timer i had a great experience walking through the doors. Their front desk was very friendly and helpful. My therapist Veronica did an excellent job with the deep tissue massage on my back. She was very informative and respectful, I would recommend her for anyone who needs work done. Massage envy on fair oaks has a great staff I will be coming here a lot in the near future.

Have had a membership for about 6 months. Every visit I set up an appointment 2-3 weeks out and they offer to send a reminder text 24hrs in advance to 1, remind you of your trip and 2, confirm your appointment by replying yes or no to the text.I get a call today saying I missed my appointment at 10 am today, and that I would be charged the 60$ for failure to cancel the visit 5 hrs in advance. The girl on the phone acknowledged that she could see there was a system error that caused the text to not be sent, but even through their system failure caused me to miss my appointment I still am being charged and thats that. Then Refused to allow me to cancel my membership on the phone because only 1 person is capable of canceling memberships?Just go get your massage from literally one of the hundred privately run operations in Sacramento. This place is over priced and unwilling to look off the corporate rules page when they make a mistake.B grade massage F grade business.

I had a massage done by amy. She was good but I could tell her mind was not fully on the massage. She kept doing one side more than the other. The massage said feet but she never got to the feet. She was good though. I tipped her 18%

The massage therapist are great. I GIVE THEM 5 STARS.The front desk staff is ok.If its your first time, sign up for the 3 month plan. Make sure to read the contract in debth, the front desk failed to explicitly disclose that my contract was for 1 year. I wasnt even made aware of the 3 or 6 months option until I talked to management.Perhaps doing paperwork before the massage is a better option!To the massage therapist: THANK YOU!

The sweetest workers there, but special shout-out to Ron (masseuse) and Alex (facial expert) because you two are the absolute best and I never want to go anywhere else. Affordable, great customer service, and knowledgeable people there to help you.

My massage therapist was extremely amazing! He was great at every aspect of his job. The gentleman at the front however, was a little snarky. I didnt have cash with me for a tip, so I asked where the nearest bank was and he acted like I was it going to come back.

Booked prenatal massage for my wife well in advance (3-4 days ahead) and also gave my credit card number so that if i miss they will charge it. Went there on time, and got to know the the only female therapist is on leave and they couldnt see any booked massage. Of course, I dont have any proof apart from my call records...bad experience before taking the massage experience

Unprofessional and seemingly uninformed staff and environment. There are usually 4-5 loud staff hanging around in the lobby talking to each other...that seem irritated to have to assist a customer. There are huge financial penalties for trying to cancel contract, which I’ve done due to several terrible massage experiences.

I really liked the therapist, although I felt like the 5 minutes it took to explain my problem areas didnt matter. Two of the main areas i really need focused on seemed rushed, and the area I asked to be skipped received the normal amount of attention. I also noticed that my time seemed to be cut short, and I am not talking about the 10 minutes of talking & prep they build into your hour message. I made sure to check times, and there was no way i received a 50 minute message. I really feel like you false advertise here, just tell people they should expect 40-50 minute messages, that way people dont feel cheated.

I was visiting my sister and she set us both up for a massage. They were wonderful, it was relaxing. I didnt leave in pain like some have in the past, as I have severe scoliosis. I felt great! Would love to come back here whenever Im in town.

Terrible service. Bad massage. Almost asked her to show me her license. She couldnt point out tense spots on my back and gave an overall bad massage. Also if you have to reschedule after booking an appointment with a gift card (they take down the card number over the phone when booking appointment) you have to pay for a whole new visit - YOU ESSENTIALLY PAY THEM FOR THE DAY YOU BOOKED EVEN IF AN EMERGENCY COMES UP. Wont be coming back

Oh how I appreciate someone who knows how to do their, job. Aretha was great. She new exactly to detect and target the tense muscles on my back without help from me. She work carefully yet efficiently on them and Im very satisfied with her work. Very attentive and proffesional.Withheld a star for front desk. Although helpful, the staff failed to create a welcome ambiance this time.

I have ordered cookie connections cookies to help market our business to local physician offices. There always extremely well received and when I go to cookie connection theyre always very helpful and nice. The cookies are individually wrapped come ideal to bring to an office, and every flavor is excellent!Cant recommend enough!

I fully enjoyed my 90 minute facial with Tosha. Shes fantastic! Very skilled with 20+ years of experience, friendly and educated in skin care. I would highly recommend making an appointment with her... your skin will thank you!!

Best decision of my life was to start coming here. Its helped with tension, anxiety, chronic pain. I am a convert. I dont care for the facials but I dont like people touching my face. Massages are amazing. Everyone should try it.

Scheduled my husband an hour and a half massage (prepaid). They called to confirm the day before. He arrives and they double booked his massage and he got booted from the appointment. Super cool.

For about a month now I have been trying to get a appointment with this location and every time my appointment date is close they call me to cancel my appointment and push mew back another two weeks to a month. This is absolutely ridiculous and unprofessional. I would advise looking at other location then this one at less then you might actually have your scheduled appointment.

My regular massage therapist at Massage Envy is Arthur T. He is so knowledgeable, and is able to use several different techniques to do his work. I have long-term sciatica and a lot of scar tissue from accidents, and I dont know if Id be able to walk without pain if it werent for Arthurs expertise.The rest of my experience at Massage Envy at Loehmanns Plaza is always positive. The neutral décor and soft music, muted lighting and herbal tea, get me primed for the experience of a therapeutic massage. The personnel at the front desk are friendly and efficient. Overall, I highly recommend the Massage Envy at Loehmanns Plaza.

Second time I’ve tried this location and both times 60 minutes actually means 45 min. I was not late either time

I had both facial and massage session with them. i have been to lot of massage places around arden who charges a lot lesser looking at brand name thought to try once and experience was horrible. since its first time i expected to have nice massage but the guy was wasting lot of time just on hands, neck i have specially told him to put more pressure on my shoulder which he didnt and more over he did the massage only which is only 35mins for scheduled 60mins and he is going over how good massage is for and asking me to schedule for another appointmentI never ever go back and is a big money rip off please go to your local massage parlours where they onky charge 30$ to 40$Thanks

I have had massages at massage envy’s all over the Sacramento area and Washington state and there is something special about Loehmann’s Plaza. The most talented and intuitive therapists and the kindest front desk staff. I would recommend it to anyone.

Im a little bit upset, about My boyfriends account, we signed up on the same time, I have my credit card for both accounts, you have been charging mi master what. And for the last 2 months he hasnt been able to have his message. He supposed to have a phone call from you guys and nobody have answer, he wants to cancel his account. I enjoy my message a month.

Went in to buy a massage for my wife. I was quoted one price, bought the gift card, and went to redeem it and quoted a different price. The person who sold it to me told me she could get the member price even though her account was on freeze, turns out that is not the case, so I called and they wont honor the price that was quoted to me, they wont refund me for the gift card, so I look like the cheap a** that didnt buy her a full massage in a gift card. So frustrating to deal with.

If you ever need a wonderful massage with firm hands book your appointment with Stanley. He knows right where rub to get the knots out. The staff is wonderful and makes you feel taken care of.

Andrew and Renee are amazing! Deep tissue massage and trigger point release helped me get off all my pain medications within 2-3 sessions.

Its been a while since I have been to Loehmans plaza location. I went for a facial and Tasha was who I saw. She was excellent. Highly recommend Tasha and Loehmans plaza location. If it wasnt so far from where I live, Id go there more often .

The facial was great. The front staff was a little cold when I entered and was really loud and laughing about people walking by the front window. I was in the quite area and it was like I was in the same room. This was very disappointing and not relaxing at all.

I have been going there for a long time.Good massage and the have aesthetician again which is nice.

Massage was good except lots of environment noise. Doors slamming and the bd girl getting a facial in the adjoining room was loud.

I saw the massage therapist Sam, he was wonderful and listened to what I had to say about my problem areas and pressure needs. 100% recommend him.

Great place to get a massage. I only wish that they used essential oil based oils or lotion when massaging. I felt a little sticky afterwards. Otherwise it was just perfect

Breana was great! It was so relaxing and the time went by quick. I liked the results too. I would highly recommend Breana to do your lashes!!

My go to spot for massages! Have never been disappointed with any of the masseur. I actually drive across town due to being disappointed at closer locations.

Jodi is an excellent massage therapist. She knows exactly which muscles to work on and uses the right pressure. I wouldn’t use any other therapist.

Ive had several great therapists at this location. Clean, relaxing environment, helpful front desk staff, and great massages!

I appreciate the clean and friendly atmosphere. My provider was very informative with feedback and helped with my back issues.

This office in sanely disorganized and does not communicate well with their staff or their lost customers. Its a real bummer that they cannot get their scheduling under control and subsequently miss out on what would be loyal customers.
