Receptionists are so friendly and kind! Krystal is phenomenal - best full body massage I have ever had! She is so talented, she pays attention to all including fabulous forearm and hand, and calf/foot massaging, and scalp too!Love this location, very close to my house - so happy and thankful for it! Always promised myself I would begin better self-care regimens in my life - signing up with massage envy has been perfect for that!

Ive been going to Massage Envy in Des Peres for years, even though I live up by the airport.The reason I do this is because they have a therapist named Alyse who is the best massage therapist Ive ever had.She does deep tissue massages and they do so much to relieve not only the physical stress of my body, but also the mental stress and anxiety in my mind.I had a massage on Sunday and it was the first one Id had in months. I feel like a completely different person! I forgot how much better a good massage will make me feel, both physically and mentally. Youd better believe Ill be back on my monthly massage program after my last massage.I cant recommend Massage Envy or this location highly enough. Everyone is so friendly and calm, and the experience is always unbeatable. See you next month!

I have been getting massages for many years. Alma is by FAR the best massage therapist I have ever been to. Almas techniques, attention to detail, and ability to find and correct areas of concern are outstanding. If there were more stars available in the rating, I would give her 10 stars!

Alise is my favorite therapist. I have seen her for a few years now, as has my mom. We love her! She makes you feel completely comfortable and I always leave feeling better. She has helped me whether it’s just relaxation for an hour or a specific ache/pain. 10/10 recommend her!

This business has undergone such a massive, positive change! With all new new ownership and new management you can definitely tell that a lot of work has gone into revamping this location! The front desk is so helpful and cheery and the therapists are top tier! I saw Alma and she helped me in ways that I didn’t even know I needed! Definitely cannot wait to return!!

We’ve moved out membership across several Massage Envy’s over the years. This location is consistently friendly, clean, and professional. Alise is an absolute rockstar. My hubby and I both see her almost exclusively, although there are several other great therapists at this location!

Alma is one of the best in her profession. Her massages are truly therapeutic! She incorporates stretching, heat and her hands on massage techniques are the best I’ve ever had at a massage envy!!

Alma is an excellent massage therapist, no one else compares! My last session was shorter than normal, about 40-42 minutes, normally they are 50 minutes.

Alma was tremendous, AGAIN!!! I went in with a specific complaint about both my left hip and shoulder. I was almost limping by that time of day. With her miracle hands she addressed both issues. I walked out of there a new man!

Fantastic place to come when you need to relax! The front desk staff is friendly, welcoming, and offers water and a warm shoulder pillow before the appointment starts. They review what to expect before, during, and after the massage and answer any questions you may have. I have had several massages from this location and all have been amazing! Each therapist Ive had, has used their expertise to work out all the stress in my body and I leave feeling refreshed. I highly recommend this location. You will have a great experience!Not only is this a great place to relax, its also an amazing place to work. We work as a team to go above and beyond for every customer. The hours are flexible for a full time or part time schedule. You earn paid time off and get discounts on massages! I absolutely love my job and enjoy coming to a stress free work environment every day!

Alma to me is a 10 when firm massage is needed. Katie and Mia at the front desk are very friendly as they greet you and make you feel like home.

Elise is an amazing massage therapist. She really takes the time to get to know my needs each visit and send me away with great suggestions to stay healthy.

Alma is a wonderful massage therapist. She is very strong yet tailors her intensity to the client.

Having read the negative reviews, I wonder how experiences can be so different. From front desk to the massage room to the technician to the actual massage, I thought the session was excellent. They asked me what my medical problems are, if any, what sort of pressure I wanted, what areas needed more or less attention, all the issues that go into a rewarding massage, and assigned the best therapist for me. As for prices, they were inline with any massage chain. There are high end spas that cost more, and less fancy places that cost less.

If i could give no stars i would. First i came in for my first massage for 60 minutes i came a little early so i would get my full 60 mins and asked the older lady who was massaging me to focus on my back and hips and did did 98% of the massage over the blanket i could barley feel it. Then she stopped 15 minutes early saying we are out of time. Worst service i ever experienced. Very disappointed. Would not recommend or go back!

I got the Mother’s Day special of buy one get one facials and decided to use it the next day. I got into the building at 9:51 (I know this cause I text my son as I was walking in) I filled out paper work used the restroom, she came in to the room she asked a few questions, she left I got situated in the bed, she did my facial, and when she got done the time was 10:35 I paid for an hour, she said well it’s 15 mins of prep and 45 mins of the actual facial, well I wasn’t even in the office for 45 mins I got cheated, and she did a decent job, her massage was basically her rubbing lotion on me. Will never go to this location again.

I’ve been a member for longer than I can remember & was 15 minutes late for an appt. due to illness. I’m handicapped & sometimes this happens (never here). I had my massage taken away but fully charged anyway ($60). Their excuse was they can’t pay the therapist for that hour. I know for a fact they only make $15 a massage. I have a lot of these saved up. For me it’s not relaxation it’s part of my ongoing therapy for MS, etc. This after I was told last week that I could put my payments on hold for 6 months until I got a little caught up with the massages I’ve already paid for. I was slightly arm twisted to make this appt. In the first place for that reason.Most of the therapists are good but the company policies blow. I would have given this 1 star except the therapist I usually see is pretty good.I don’t recommend getting a membership here. It’s expensive & rates go up on contracts you’ve already signed up for. I started around $45 in the club. It’s jumped to $60. More if you don’t have a membership. I think it’s awfully pricey for what you get. You cannot get out of your membership unless you cancel & can use up all your massages remaining within 30 days. In my case there’s so many it’s not an option. Also, you can transfer a massage (that you’ve already paid for) for an EXTRA $10 to someone else. All they do is type a name into the computer. And you can only transfer 1 a month.

My husband went to get a massage using a gift card he received for a 50-minute massage. They had the nerve to charge him $40, in addition to the $50 already on the card, which should have covered his massage, but because he was a member of Massage envy in 2012, they made him pay full price of $90! What a rip off! Beware of their ridiculous policies and do not go here. You can get a much better, more professional massage someplace else that doesnt rip you off.

I am an ME member and sometimes go to different locations in the St. Louis area. This is by far the worst ME location. From the front desk that never welcomes with any professionalism to the massage therapists and management, it falls short on so many levels. The last 60 minute massage I received there was so bad as if the therapist never went through any training. When I left a negative review, the manger/owner called me a few days later to say that different therapists have different styles and that it was basically my fault that I should realize there were different types of therapists. I would suggest that this location have true therapist descriptions not just pressure ratings that go from light to deep for every therapist. I would check out another location before trying this one.

She is the best at deep massages and working out knots in problem areas. The best person you have ever hired.

I asked for a deep tissue massage and asked the therapist to massage deeper. The massage felt like a fetus rubbing me and I’m highly disappointed in the service I received. I told the front desk staff after being asked how my massage was and their responses showed they did not care. Certain therapist may want to take deep tissue off their list if they can’t perform the service that you’re asking individuals to pay for. Also my cup of water was dirty that I received. I’d give this zero stars if I could.

Ive been a member for several years and Alma is one of the main reason. The front desk service member are helpful and delightful to talk to.

I have been going to this Massage Envy for several years but will soon be parting ways. I had received a massage in June. Before that massage, I called to see if I had any pre-paid massages left. I was told I had 2. I scheduled that massage. I called again earlier this week to see if I still had any remaining pre-paid massages. I was told that I had 1 left, so I scheduled a massage for yesterday. When I arrived yesterday, I was told that massage had actually expired in January 2018 and I would need to pay for a new membership in order to re-activate it. Why did 2 other people tell me I had a pre-paid massage left if it was expired? I have had problems twice (with this Massage Envy) automatically renewing my membership when I specifically requested No automatic renewal and that my credit card not be kept on file. I am furious with myself because after arguing the point for ten minutes, I gave in and renewed my membership. When my current membership expires, I will no longer be using Massage Envy, nor will I recommend them to others. Its a shame because I have been going there for several years, even with what has gone on with renewing my membership without my consent. I love my massage therapist there but it just isnt worth the stress.

Very poor hospitality! Do not recommend. They pretend like you are getting some amazing deal with the member price of $65 / month for a 60 minute message. The truth is, they WAY over charge for a non member message ($115 for 60 minutes) and the $65 rate just puts them in line with the rest of the market. They COMPLETELY JIP YOU ON TIME, you only get 50 minutes for their 60 minute message. Their message therapists are mediocre at best! You honestly get as good or better message at the walk in place in the mall! They also have arbitrary bullcrap rules on sharing your time. e.g. you can only transfer your message time to a unique friend once per 6 months. They either didnt explain this or glossed over this when signed up, and there is absolutely NO JUSTIFICATION for this rule other than its their policy. Oh and during COVID they wont even bring you a drink of water. Message therapist in my last visit was unfriendly and acted like she didnt even want to be there.

Alise is amazing. We are moving and I told her I want to hire her as my live in personal massage. I will come back on my visits and this will be the first stop I will make. Alise you are amazing and keep up the excellent work. Please move with my family and I....

I was just turned away because of a small sniffle. I waited in the lobby for nearly 10 minutes past when my massage was supposed to start, and then told because I have a slight runny nose they won’t see anyone who seems to be sick. Poor business. Waste of time.

Ex-employee: they do not train you to the best of your ability, the place definitely needs big upgrades, barely anyone works as a team, expect many hours to be worked alone. Ive definitely been happier since I have left.
