Overall a pleasant experience and a good massage. Wasnt thrilled about getting maybe 40min of actual massage time. Appt. @6pm was there 15min early got in the room around 605 massage started just after 610 and she said she was done just before 6:50. Paying over $100 with tip I would expect to get more than 2/3s of the massage time.
You get there, have to fill out new paperwork even though you have been there before. Then wait in waiting room. By the time you get in there, its 15 minutes past your appointment,. Then she quits 10 minutes before it should be over . so you pay for an hour but get 30 minutes. I asked for a firm massage, did not get a firm massage.definitely not worth the money.
THIS PLACE DOES NOT HONOR APPOINTMENTS YOU BOOK!I am so disappointed to be writing this review.... truly shocked at how little this place cares about their clients.My husband and I were SO excited to spend our anniversary getting a couples massage here. I called weeks in advance and even gave a date range of the weekend before our anniversary, the weekend after, or the entire week of (only cavoite being that if it was during the week, 4pm was the earliest as we both work and could not take off too much time.) When booking, the woman on the phone told me that 4pm on a Thursday would be no problem at all so we were able to book the appointment on our anniversary.Fast forward to the day of our SCHEDULED couples massage, I get a call at 10am letting me know that they can no longer get us in the couples room at 4pm, our options were to get us in the couples room at 3pm or get separate massages at 4pm. We did not want separate rooms and specifically chose this location because of that. We also could not make it in at 3pm. I asked if we could cancel and reschedule if those were our only options today to which Kylie told me that she wont even charge me a cancelation fee.... I sure hope not because I didnt cancel....At this point, I am feeling frustrated but I understand people get sick, call in, or just general mistakes can happen with scheduling. When rebooking our new appointment, I asked how I can ensure we will be in the couples room this time as that was the most important part to me. Kylie stated that the towel warmer for that room broke and the new one should be there this afternoon, just not by 4pm. Things stopped making sense at that point so I asked how they would be able to get us in the couples room at 3pm if the towel warmer wont be there until after 4pm. She started giggling and basically told me that if no one is coming in by 3pm, they wont have masseuses available.Maybe this is all a huge misunderstanding, I truly hope so, but, its the morning of my anniversary, this is the big ticket item we put money aside for to treat ourselves, and now it sounds like Im getting the run around because someone wants to go home early... To me, it is poor management to allow your employees to leave if there is someone on the books. Additionally, I would have been much more apt to reschedule if some sort of extra service was offered, discount maybe, or even just a simple apology with some honesty. Needless to say, I will not be returning and I will not recommend this place to anyone.
3 massages and all have been different even though I select deep tissue massage. I had a really great massage first, the next two have declined in level of massage quality as well as no water at the end of the session the last two times. Really not liking the consistency as well as the massage the last two times weren’t deep at all. I have decided to look for another massage non chain for massages
On 2/16 I called Massage Luxe to see how they were handling appointments since we were having a snow storm. I spoke to Christina and she said the reason they called me was because the spa was closing at 2. I told her no one called me but I was calling due to the weather.I asked her if I could reschedule she made an appointment for 3/1 at 4 pm. Today I called to have the paperwork resent for my guest I was bringing as a surprise. I was told I did not have an appointment. That my husband called and cancelled. Which I do not have and the person I am bringing doesnt know anything about the appointment.Then I was told that I said I would call back to reschedule, which was not true. I told her if it did not work I would callback. I put the appointment on the calendar which was made by Christina. I put names of the petson I speak to when making an appointment.I spoke to the manager Kelly, which was no use. She did not even try to make the situation right at or locate another appointment for me. She just said she didnt know why someone would not have made the appointment like I was lying.I called back to speak to Kelly after looking at the appointment on my calendar to tell her who I spoke to on the 2/16 and hit Christina. She was very confrontational and rude. That type of behavior should never be acceptable. She told me she remembered speaking to me and we never made the appointment. Which was not true.I asked to speak to Kelly, but was told she was on the phone with corporate. She never camed to the phone and she got off work in 20 minutes and avoided calling me back.I called corporate and spoke to Lauren. She said she was not able to assist me because Massage Luxe are franchise. She said she would email the store a d the owner but there was probably nothing that they could do.This is totally unacceptable for an establishment to make an error and just oh well. This was a gift.I have funds that I have on my account. I am canceling my membership and will NEVER patronage Massage Luxe again.I have plenty massages before. Updated...customer service called me. I missed the call but I really appreciate they didnt ignore me.No one answered the phone. I cancelled the appt, received a $120 charge a few minutes later, called back and said I would be there and they said TOO LATE even though I would have been early for the appointment. Great customer service. 👎 This is my first bad review.

I dropped my sister off yesterday at 2:20pm for her 2:30pm 60 minute(and yes, I know its actually 50 minutes when undressing and redressing is included) massage. At 3:06, my sister called me from the lobby to inform me that Amber was already done with her massage and she was ready to be picked up. So, at the very MOST, she received 36 minutes. Amber informed her that that was all the time she had. Really!? Because I thought if a 60 minute massage was booked, than atleast 50 minutes was received. This is garbage. We definitely wont be coming back to this location. What a disappointment.
Location was new, very clean, and waiting room relaxing. Had a wonderful 60 minute massage with Thomas. Great pressure and he listened to wanting focus on back/shoulders/neck, and not chatty but conversational. I signed up for a membership, so I’ll be back!
Just went in for my first ever massage. Amber did a great job making sure I was comfortable. As I was checking out, I made a mistake with my payment and had to walk back inside. Instead of being rude like most places would be, the staff was very kind and understanding about my mistake and fixed it for me right away! I would absolutely recommend coming here. I will definitely be back!
My husband purchased a gift card for me and when I went to check out after my massage, I was told that the gift card would not cover the full service and that I had a balance.I explained that the gift card was for an hour massage and my husband wouldn’t have purchased less than a full massage. The manager let me know that the gift card was actually for 1.5 hours and since it was incorrectly booked, I owed a balance. The card was purchased during a promotional offer and since I used it outside of the promotional period, the price went up, despite that info not being anywhere listed on the card. It seemed to me that I was owed a half hour massage, not that I owed Massage Luxe any money.I paid the balance but was told the manager would speak to the owners the following business day to see if I could be issued a refund. The issue was rectified and I was left a voicemail stating I would get refunded, but the manager was sure to let me know that this was my fault because I used the gift card incorrectly. The manager was very unprofessional and blaming. What was supposed to be a relaxing experience turned into a headache.My massage service was fantastic. My therapist was Niecy (spelling?). Unfortunately it wasn’t worth the trouble...
I got the seaweed facial with Cami, and she was super sweet and did an amazing job! She gave me lots of good recommendations for their products. The front desk staff was really sweet and helpful and I would definitely go back!
My massage is the highlight of every month. Ive been going every month for a year now and the support staff is professional, friendly, knowledgeable. Amber is a top notch masseuse as well. Keeping track of all my aches and pains from previous visits, she helps me leave relaxed and pain free. Id recommend the monthly membership to everyone.
I had the worst experience ever here on Monday and I recommend DO NOT support this business! Very unqualified and unprofessional staff and a very rude careless manager. We made an appointment for 3 people yesterday and only after sending two of the ladies back, they informed me that they didnt have an appointment for me today and I had to go wait outside for my friends. I asked her to please go tell my friends so that we can just leave and she never went and told them!! After their massages, my friends were very upset like why did you not tell us? Why did you just take our money like that? We would have rather rescheduled all three appointments. Trying to discuss this with the manager was fruitless, she seemed proud to rip us off. Oh. Also it was my birthday. Also the receptionist didnt wear a mask when we came in and when another employee asked her to put on one, she complained they were in here car and made no move to get one as long as I was standing there.
I had a membership and COVID hit but I didnt want to cancel and contribute to businesses in the area hurting, especially if I could keep paying, knowing I would make up for services later. After so many scheduling mishaps (where I show and they claim my appt was actually earlier that day) or cancelling or rescheduling.. I cancelled my membership and wont be back. $60/massage is a decent deal but not for the quality of service and general customer care that they provide.
Tiffany the massage therapist was fantastic. Unfortunately, the young lady at the front desk put a dent in my first (and only) experience from the moment I walked in. She was rude when I asked about the ingredients in the hair serum. She kept saying I dont know even when I asked if we could find out. After the AMAZING massage and I went to check out she was on her personal cell phone and kept talking to whomever for about 30 second after I walked up. She was rude about the bottle of water left for me by the therapist. She made the beginning and the end of the process unbearable. I will not be returning due to her rudeness.
I had been getting massages and facials here for a few years but the quality of service with all of the therapists and estheticians (besides one therapist you cant get into) have gone downhillsince COVID. I was told one type of facial was only 30 minutes long (not told until after I got it and realized I was only in there for half an hour) which is a lie since I had gotten the same facial at this location and the St. Charles location before and it was an hour long yet I paid for an hour service. They are obviously having issues keeping/obtaining employees as they keep calling me to change my times and therapists stating their computers hadnt updated. Im done with the lies and will be cancelling my contract with them.
I have lived all over the U.S. and been a massage client for 30 years. I have always gone to independent or spa therapists and would estimate that about 30% gave a satisfactory massage. I was skeptical about going to a chain but decided to give it a chance. As of last night, I have now experienced my 3rd therapist at the Cottleville, MO location and have been super-impressed with all of them, truly. The entire staff is outstanding. Highly recommended!
This is not my regular location, but Ive been here a few times. Its nice, but small enough that I could hear lobby chatter in my massage room, which is just slightly annoying. I had Tiffany as my therapist this visit. The massage was really good, Tiffany has terrific hands. My only complaint is that she seemed very impersonal today. Almost robotic, like she was just going through the motions. The massage was great, but a bit more finess on moving the sheets/blankets and not just flinging them around goes a long way. She was kinda slamming cabinet doors when getting things out. Just seemed to be in a hurry, and that took a bit away from the experience for me.
I wasnt very satisfied with my massage. I was recommended to go to Lindsay so I called and asked to schedule an appointment with her. I have since found out I got the wrong Lindsay! (the good one is BLONDE!) If you have two people working there with the same name, CLARIFY WHICH ONE THE CUSTOMER IS ASKING FOR. Other than that this place is great! Just make sure you receive a recommend person.
I had my first ever facial from Rachel. She was amazing and my face feels super clean and soft! Then I had a one hour Massage from Kayla. My back and glutes havent felt this good in years!
Very dissatisfying massage. Usually I have a great experience, not this time around. Felt very rushed and roughed around with, not a friendly therapist at all. Rushed out the door after the massage and didn’t say anything. Didn’t do the hot stone like I wanted because she said she “doesn’t do that” very upset. I spent good money on it
Getting a massage is a treat for me. Was a little put off after my visit today though. Session started about1:10 and ended at 1:54. It was relaxing but my toes, fingers and scalp were never touched. At $100.00 + tip for an hour I should have left completely satisfied. 😟
I went on the recommendation from a review here to see mindy. Which I did. And she is great. Awesome awesome massage therapist. So I would definitely go back to see her. The only thing I don’t like is them asking about the monthly program they have. I want to be able to come and go as I want to.Best therapist mindy
I purchased my wife a gift card for Valentines Day earlier this year. She used the gift card a couple months later and for some reason she ended up having to pay more for the services that I had already purchased for her. I was looking through our bank account today and noticed a charge for $58.88 from message lux. I did a little digging and they have been charging us that same amount every month for the last 4 months. My wife said she did not authorize any additional purchases. I will be paying them a visit very soon to get my money back. But for now I am very frustrated with the headache of being charged MONTHLY for nothing.
I have been a member since about 2012 and I have been seeing Hailey at Cottleville regularly for many months and I LOVE going to her. She is very professional and always recommends the perfect thing for my skin. I usually get microdermabrasion and it has helped my skin tremendously. The people at the front desk have always been so nice and welcoming each time I have gone in there. I am a huge fan of being able to use the hydroluxe whenever I want. Going there during the Covid situation was a little unnerving the first time but they are extremely cautious and sanitary in there so now I have no hesitations at all.
Jackie was great from the beginning to end. She asked me if any area was bothering me while we were walking to the room so she knew where to pay extra attention. She applied the right pressure where needed. Hopefully my neck spasms will deminsh . I already made an appointment for next month.
I love Massage Luxe and the experience I get each and every time I go. I have been seeing Thomas at the Cottleville location 1x a month for over a year now, and I wouldn’t recommend any other place. Thomas is amazing and takes the time to learn about what my current problem areas are or tightness in muscles from recent exercise. I have now referred all of my friends to him so I’m sorry if his schedule is full! It’s my self care each month and I always look forward to my next massage.
Ignore all of the negative reviews from cranky Karens, and schedule a massage with Thomas. His magic hands find every little knot in your muscles, and he releases them like it’s nothing. I’ve had massage therapists (in years past) spend almost an entire session trying to work out one knot. Thomas gets them ALL. Danisha gave me my first massage at Luxe, and she was AMAZING, so much so, that I signed up for a monthly membership. Then for my second, she wasn’t available, and I got Thomas. His technique is extremely intuitive and natural. I’m hooked! It is very hard to get off of that table at the end. Lol I don’t recall the name of the young lady who did my facial when I got one, but she was great too! I love this place, and I’m picky (not “Karen” picky, but picky). If you’re in need, just go for it!

Eric is the bomb diggity. Tiffany is fantastic also. Front staff is very nice as well I love the infused water and the warm towels in the hydro-bed. Make sure you ask for water on your way out!
We had an apt for 3 people for my friends birthday, and they messed something up and did not communicate that with us (mistakes happen) they took two of us back then sent the third home and did not tell the two of us they could not get her in even though we had an apt. So my friend whos birthday it was did not get her massage and got sent home and they money grabbed us other two and did not communicate that she was not being accomidated. The manager hannah did not care about the lack of communication given to us or my friend being sent home and the obvious money grab they did to the two of us so they didnt lose out. It was supposed to be a nice relaxing day and they ruined it with sending the birthday girl home lack of communication and pure disrepect of peoples feelings and wallets
Signed up for the monthly massages. Been to both Creve Coeur and St. Peters and have yet to have a truly good massage with 5-10 over the past 6 months. Trying to cancel subscription and they are requiring me to physically come to the location to terminate or send a physical letter (snail mail) to the location I signed up at. Not pleased. I will follow up with how that goes.
The first time I ever had a massage it wasnt the best experience but over the weekend I went with my girlfriends for a girls day out and received the best deep tissue massage from Ralph. From the beginning the workers at the front counter were very welcoming and professional. We arrived 10 minuets early to fill out paper work and by 2pm (when our appointments were) we were in the room and I had originally said no to pectorals and glutes but once Ralph explained what he would be doing I said OK! Lets go for it! Deep Tissue massage is his specialty so I put my trust in him and Im glad I did! Because I walked out of there feeling 100% again. I did end up getting a membership for a pretty great price so Im excited to see him next month. Im a pretty active individual so my body is constantly sore from workouts. Whats nice with the membership is I can use their HydroLuXe sessions to massage my back and legs.
Bought a gift card for a one hour massage as a gift and apparently they didn’t tell me the correct price for a one hour massage. The gift card didn’t cover the cost of the massage. People working the desk are NOT very helpful or friendly.

Ive gotten multiple massages between this location and OFallon. Personally, I think Cottleville is the best. The front desk are always very nice, and Ive never had a bad session. I normally get swedish with Niecey, shes great. Also, the hydro bed is awesome
This place is thieves. I had a gift card and when the lady asked me which service I wanted she didnt tell me my card would not cover either service. A gift that I thought i would only have to tip turned into $100 later. This is why I hate getting any gifts or going to these places. I will never go back AGAIN to liars and thieves.

Absolutely best therapists, I have medical issues and uneven walking my muscle are tired stretched and I cant sleep. I have utilized this therapy for 8 years. I am off all narcotic medications for 6 years.

THEY SAID I WOULD PAY AN INTRO PRICE OF ONLY $10 FOR THE NEXT MONTH. I ASKED IF THIS COULD BE CANCELLED AT ANY TIME AND SHE SAID YES. A COUPLE WEEKS LATER I WAS IN A BAD ACCIDENT AND HAVE BEEN BED RIDDEN SINCE. SINCE I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO WORK, MY ACCOUNT DID NOT HAVE ANY MONEY. I EXPLAINED MY SITUATION BY EMAIL AND ASKED IF THEY COULD CANCEL THE ACCOUNT. SHE SAID YES BUT THAT I OWED $65. I EXPLAINED MY SITUATION AGAIN AND ASKED IF THEY COULD CANCEL THAT SINCE NO SERVICES WERE RENDERED SINCE THE ONE TIME I WENT. SHE SAID HER C.O.O SAYS THAT I MUST PAY. THEY CALL EVERY DAY LIKE BILL COLLECTORS (TO WHICH I GAVE A CEASE AND DESIST) AND HAVE NO COMPASSION OR UNDERSTANDING OF MY SITUATION. THEY HAVE NOT CANCELLED MY ACCOUNT BECAUSE I RECEIVED A VOICEMAIL SAYING I NOW OWE A SECOND MONTH AND THEY ARE GOING TO SEND ME TO COLLECTIONS!! I HAVE EMAILS OF EVERY CONVERSATION. THEY SHOW NO COMPASSION OR UNDERSTANDING. PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DONT GO HERE.
