The Best St Pete Gay Dive Bar . This place always has a relaxed atmosphere has friendly Bartenders and great cost effective drink prices. The best part it’s not a safe place for bridesmaids to scream at the top of there lungs OMG to every Brittney Spears song on the jukebox. It’s just a great place to sit and chat with other like minded folks. If you love a Dive Bar this is your go to place .

We had a great time. The crowd is friendly and social. Very laid back. Patrons control the music. Kyle is a great bartender.

As a life long Madonna fan, its just nice to enter a place called Lucky Star. Its a great staff and was so kind to keep my credit card safe overnight after leaving it here. You MUST be my LUCKY STAR!

This was our second time visiting st.pete. we wanted to go to another bar but it was closed. Which was strange to me cause were from a big city and not used to bars to bars closing at 10 pm. So we remembered lucky star was across the street. Plus the radio was playing Madonnas Lucky Star so that was an omen . The bar was starting to fill up. I ordered drinks. They were very good and strong. Much better than the bar down the street .

OMG I try to be a nice guy and help people when Im there. Accidentally took one vape puff inside the bar and got kicked out. Meanwhile, one of the bartenders sells cigarettes from the back room under the table illegally. Cant win. I even spent 28 bucks on the jukebox, $19 on drinks and even gave the guy a $7 tip despite his over the top rudeness. Your money is better spent at one of the gay bars in my hometown of Orlando. If I get an apology from the bartender, assuming I ever go back, I will edit this review to reflect that, but I seriously doubt he will man up.

We finally had a chance to try out Lucky Star one Saturday afternoon. This place is small which makes it a lot of fun. The bartender was quite nice and got us drinks quickly. It can be a bit confusing to find the entrance. Go around on the side to the right and look for a fence gate that opens. It’s not marked.

It’s a nice chill spot. The bartender Adam is amazing and such a good guy. I forgot my card and couldn’t pay and he still allowed me to have my drink. Definitely a nice place to check out.

Good mixed drinks. Very fair prices. Excellent bartenders.Negatives: lights are way too bright, kinda like being in someones rec room; and a couple of know-it-all gas bags who tend to dominate conversation at the bar. Enchanting -- NOT.

Great bartenders! a tiny hole on the wall with excellent prices, the AC is cold the jukebox is fun. Its clean inside. The only complaint is all the smoking on the private patios, and sometimes there is a junkie or two that wander into the patio area which can be annoying, but that is due to the location and alley access. Other than that this a great little secret gem

I came into this establishment last night on Tuesday evening at around after 7pm. The bartender was rude for no reason. I was waiting for two friends, we talked and one friend was not in a great mood. My friend made a comment, then the bartender proceeded to tell me he did not like me either. I could care a less about it, but it was unneccessary this man opened his big mouth. My other friend proceeded to say things were going on and not worry. Another patron made a comment, his opinion of what type of people he likes to date and not date (his comment probably not necessary, but he has the right, and it was not that bad). The bartender told him to watch his mouth or leave. Not smart, especially since there were maybe 8 people max there at the time. It was his opinion to my friends only. The guy proceeds to say, cash me out. And he left, after the bartenders dogmatic comment. I left after with my friends separate and said my goodbyes politely. I will not be back. The guy was bearded with bad teeth. He needs to cool his jets. His rudeness makes this small establishment look bad. The rest of the staff I have dealt with the other two visits prior were very good. Nice gentlemen. This one, not so nice! Needs etiquette lessons in how you talk to patrons, and may want to consider trying to smile and work on being polite. This negative review will be removed, only with a face to face apology from this establishment and this individual. The attitude of this man was disgusting. Case in point. It is not what you say, but how you say it.

Start serving espresso martinis on the weekend and quit being lazy. You’re not that busy.

It is low key. While I love Enigma, this place is very chill and laid back. The drinks are extremely strong. I usually stick with beers at the Lucky Star. Nice outdoor patio area as well.

People have turned the phrase dive bar into an insult, but this bar is clean, reasonably priced, and the bartenders are friendly. Bonus-there are no windows, which makes it a great place to escape the scorching hot sunshine!

The bartenders here are sweet and sexy, especially the bar manager Daniel. He makes me laugh. Love me some Daniel.Day drinking is acceptable here. Drinks are cheap but dont come in looking for tropical fruity concoctions with umbrellas. LOL.

Um...this said gay bar on google but it should have said, guy bar, or even, bear den. All guys who told me that Lesbians dont go out anywhere (they obviously didnt know about Enigma, which we discovered later) were so sweet. This place was small and definitely a dude hangout.

Lovely place for the community. If you are looking for something fancy or trendy people it might be not the place to go. But else I really recommend it. Also my long-drink was great by taste and price.

I was here once before and walked out. It was almost empty. Ive been told this place is hit or miss. Tonight was a hit. Great crowd, good music, great vibe and excellent bartender. I will go back.

Small intimate setting for staring at other people or eavesdropping on conversations. Two patios are available to create that scenario where you can say you were on the other patio even if you were across the street at the garage. Would come here again if I absolutely have to.

First time there was very exciting with my very drunk date on my Birthday. Regardless, Lucky Star was a breath of fresh air. Highly recommend to everyone.

Fabulous. Lucky Star is a great place to cruise single guys and people watch. They claim to play the music low to make it so people can chat. I dont know about all of that but I know that I have a great time every time I go to Lucky Star.

Dark, packed, the bartender was nice the customers not so much, if your not in the click your not going to enjoy it. This was my second visit, Ill give it one more try.

Two outdoor patios with benches, bar is fairly small, great cocktails and beer on tap.

Nice mixed gay/straight bar with free pool, great DJ and karaoke, indoor smoking with ample ventilation, but tendency to run a/c way too cold evidenced by bartender wear hoodie at times.
