My first time here was a blast! The owner, wait staff and regulars were very welcoming. Everyone overall was polite, welcoming, friendly. I will absolutely come back.

Incredible staff - amazing vibe. The owner Rai was the only negative part of the experience. Please go support the staff but if you come across Rai, please kindly request that he doesn’t con you out of more money on a broken machine without disclosing who he was

DJ IS AWESOME!!! Place is very clean, drinks are good and strong. Crowd is adult, just want to have fun people. They have a nice pool table and a smoking are that does not crowd the dance floor or rest of the club. Free parking out front! Awesome place all in all. A must visit.

Open friendly space with a very supportive community

The bartender is dry, I think his mouth is broken. He didnt know how to respond to my questions or most likely didnt care too. I can only imagine I dont fit the normal customer base as to the unwelcome deminor this evening. I DONT recommend The Garage On Central

I woulda gave this place 3.5 stars if the owner kept the place open till the sign on the door says. He will literally start turning lights off 45 minutes before closing time. Even if youre in the middle of a billiard game. He lacks people skills in general. The bartenders save this place. (But can only do so while theyre open)

This bar had the best karaoke by far!There were some really great singers there! Everyone made you feel welcome. The bartender made us great drinks. I will definitely fo back there rhe next time im in town.

First time there and won’t be back. Brought a group in to support local business and was told dogs were okay on the patio. After ordering a second round of drinks and being there 20 minutes an extremely unprofessional bouncer came up to us (no uniform or shirt identifying him to be part of the establishment) and rudely told us we all had to leave now. The way he acted/ treated us, you would have thought we did something terrible. I understand if someone messed up and told us the wrong thing. How they handled it was ridiculous. He could have easily came over and said our apologies but you have to finish your drinks and leave. Not kick people out and cause a scene because you told us the wrong thing.

Read the reviews and looked to be for “the older crowd.” That is only true if you don’t want to breathe. The smoke, inside and out is unbearable, especially if you are a non smoker, but even smokers were trying to escape it. The drinks were strong, but to the point Of terrible. Not impressed and won’t be back.

The karaoke is a blast! me and my friends do enjoy it the non stop songs are just awesome.. plus the drinks are great and the food people here are pretty nice...

The owner forcefully put his hands on my friend and when we asked what was going on he told us we were refused service. It was bizarre and inappropriate and we will not be coming back.

Last night was my 1st time there. Didnt know anyone when I walked in, but by the time I left, I met alot of wicked kewl people. I had great conversations, laughter, and eyegasims (especially the bartender).!!! The music was great, the place was well kept, and had a great atmosphere all around. Like I said, it was my 1st time there and definitely wont be my last.

Omg I came to st pete beach for a wedding on labor day wknd and we needed somewhere to go out and my friend looked up some places and he was like Hey lets go to the Garage, so we thought it was near the beach where we were but after drinking and driving for a min we saw it wasnt..lol We finally get there and when i say we had a ball we had a ball !! Real cool people , best karaoke ever and the Owner was the coolest ever Very nice place will definitely visit again.

We always have a great time! Luke is an amazing barender. Thanks Rai for opening an amazing bar. We havent been in there for a while until about 2 weeks ago and Wow its only getting better..Way to go Rai , Luke, Scott you guys are always the beat. E&F... Thanks so much ! ❤️

I would give this place a -1 if i could, first time I came here it was a way too smokey karoke bar.. the sound was awful. The second time I was told I couldnt bring my licensed service dog into the bar by the owner. He said you can bring the dog in but we wont serve you I think that is a federal crime.. just saying. We will not come back.. you are lucky I didnt or havent filed a complaint about your bar.

Great neighborhood bar with outstanding drink prices. Karaoke on Friday nights is a blast! The Garage is a smoking bar so people with tobacco smoke sensitivities may find the environment less than optimal.

Water down drinks during happy hour, and the beer tasted spoiled. Staff is great but gossipy and love to spill the beans about others private lives. Judge lest ye be judged......Arrogant and rude bartenders!

Awfull. show director is a liar cheat and supports transphobia. the bar treats costmers and contestants terrible calls them names like idoit. they really need to get it together

The Garage is a smoking venue which is why I only gave it 3 stars. Other than that its a very basic home-style gay bar with pool tables and karaoke. Very friendly but not for families.

Decided to visit the Garage for halloween weekend, coming from Miami. Space has potential, it’s very festive and open. They have a VJ which is a fantastic thing but the huge line to get a beer is absurd.

The bartender was rude and wouldnt even make small talk. The clientele was undesirable local folk wich between all of them made a full set of teeth. This place looks like a meth haven. Def wont be back gross, disgusting, eeewww.

Great prices. No draft beers though. They dont show all the games, but they have a decent amount of TVs. Locally owned. Filled with older gay men.

I have great memories from my visits to The Garage. A very comfy local bar, the owner is a great guy with a lovely family business. I recommend a stop in if you’re in the St Pete area.

Karaoke is terrible. The KJ does not let anyone new sing. I had my name in for an hour and a half and he told me in the beginning he may not get me in but he allowed the same ones over and over again to sing like 3 or 4 songs. And the owner takes your beer from you and when asked he was indifferent instead of at least apologizing

I went to karoake and enjoyed it. Great atmosphere and great crowd. Ice cold beer. Very pleasant experience. The patio area is a great place to have a drink and watch the stars.

Aweome free spirit bar. Straight guy in a gay bar and had an awesome experiance! Bartender Larry was amazing, entertaining and was quick on drinks. I will be back again!

This has to be one of the friendliest gay bars in St. Pete. Rai is always happy to see you when you walk in. No matter how long it has been!

Basic and no frills. The positive is that you will not find a bridal party here, but it is a bit of a sleepy bar.

Witnessed TWO bar fights with poor management, very strong urine smell by the pool table, was literally told BY STAFF Lesbian, go back to your lesbian bar. Never seen anything like it. I have never written reviews of a bar/restaurant but this one should be heard. BEWARE!

Have never had drinks that were that watered down. Pointed this out to them bartender and was told to leave. Liquor control needs to look into this place.

Cheaters and scammers. ordered two beers. I gave the card to the bar. took $ 52 + $ 6 for beer. the holders were never returned.
