Paradise Spa - Massage St. Petersburg

Paradise spa is exactly that, Paradise! My friends and I booked various services and each of us can truly say all of them were fantastic, from Teri to Justin to Cynthia. Usually I hate when massage therapists go too hard on my neck and shoulders and it becomes uncomfortable but Cynthia did a fanatic job easing into the massage. We will definitely be back.My only feedback is that I wish robes were provided especially for multiple services as I had to get redressed after my massage and then undressed again for my facial. Also please add mimosas, nothing says spa day like a nice refreshing Mimosa!

I went for a massage with my husband for our 15th anniversary. My therapist asked me about areas to avoid, which were marked in the intake form, and she was respectful of a lower back bruise/scrape that I had. However, she did not ask me if there were any areas I would like her to focus on, and she spent a really long time on my arms and hands when I would have preferred more work on my traps and neck, and calves all of which are very tight. I paid for a deep tissue massage but the pressure was more like a firm Swedish massage (again, at no point did she ask me what type of pressure I liked or if the pressure was good). Finally, and perhaps worst of all, she was VERY chatty. I only get a massage once a year and I just want to relax and enjoy it without making small talk. I tried to show that I wanted silence without being rude but she did not pick up my social clues. The facility and staff were all very nice and my husband loved his massage (his therapist asked him all the standard questions about areas to avoid/focus on and his pressure preference). I just wish my therapist had customized my massage more to my needs and not tried to make small talk the whole time.*UPDATE the owner did reach out to me personally to apologize and make things right. Based on their excellent customer service, the many 5-star reviews, and my husbands massage, I would definitely recommend Paradise Spa. Seems like my experience was just a fluke.

My wife, father, and I all had work done here on a recent vacation. Everyone was very happy. I had Jackie do a 60 minute deep tissue on me -- and I was very impressed at her ability to read what was going on with my back then use various techniques to address them. Well done!

I would like to express my deepest gratitude for Risa, the incredible masseuse my sister Jillian had for a massage a few weeks ago. I have been meaning to write this and it is so vivid that it feels like it happened just a few minutes ago. To celebrate her upcoming marriage, my other sister and I all went to Paradise Spa for massages. My other sister and I finished our great massages and were relaxing on the couch waiting for Jillian, who arrived soon after.As her twin sister, I can attest that I have never felt this energy coming from her before. Its hard to encapsulate exactly what was radiating from her soul. I could only explain it as moved beyond words. I immediately knew she had an out-of-this-world experience and soon I learned she essentially had an out-of-body experience.She began to cry as she told my other sister and I how amazing the session was, because she felt Risas loving energy going into her body with every single touch, from every single fingertip. I was amazed and so overjoyed. Soon after, Risa came out to give Jillian something to drink, and Jillian thanked her and said I really felt that as she began to cry again. I was blown away when Risa also began to cry and responded that she was very moved throughout the massage as well. Risa asked if my sister was getting married and somehow felt that energy from her. Her goal was to relax my sister inside and out and she did just that. She and my sister had a big hug. Of course... then my other sister and I began to cry. It was beyond touching and special.If you want a massage that goes from your skin into your soul, choose Paradise Spa, and choose Risa.Thank you, Risa. You are a beautiful person.

Had 2 wonderful massages with Corey while on vacation in the area. Absolutely wonderful spa & experience! Him & his entire staff are very sweet! Will definitely see him again on our next trip😊💕

I had an amazing and healing deep tissue massage with Justin today. It was the best I’ve ever had. He’s very knowledgeable and skilled at his craft of massage therapy. He’s truly someone that has a passion to help someone dealing with chronic pain and injuries. He is incredibly professional and caring. I found my new therapist ! I highly recommend him and Paradise Spa. Prior to your service you have to do the infrared sauna too! I left there feeling like a new person !

Vacationers looking for a place to get a massage. I would of gave them 5 stars, but I waited for 10 minutes after my massage time to finally go up to the front counter to find out if my masseuse was late for work, come to find out she said she didnt know she had a client. Some miss communication going on there somehow. But I would definitely go back again, hopefully communication will be better.

Jackie was absolutely amazing! I get massages a few times a year and she is the best masseuse I’ve had in a long time. She gave me an amazing deep tissue and worked out my knots so well. She applied great pressure and I was so relaxed. I would recommend her to anyone going to this area!

I had a great experience at this spa. Risa was my massage therapist and I absolutely loved everything about her. She listened to me and asked me often was I comfortable being that I told her that I had just been in a car accident.when massaging me she knew exactly where the pain was. She was patient and very sweet I would recommend her to anyone. Kayla is at front desk she was very sweet and helpful and helped me in a timely manner. Every bit of our time was amazing. I will be coming to visit here everytime Im in the area. Well worth the $$ and 🕐.

My first visit to Paradise Spa was also my first facial I have ever received. My esthetician, Kayla, made this experience so enjoyable. Not only was the process super relaxing alone, but Kayla made it better as she was so welcoming and made sure my time was being valued. Will definitely be back to see her and try out other services!!

Such a pleasant experience at Paradise Spa. Had my first pedicure in years and I so enjoyed it. I felt absolutely welcome from the moment I walked in. Rachel is incredibly nice and did a fantastic job. Highly recommend! Happy feet ready for the beach!

Had an amazing relaxing time at the spa. Me and a couple girlfriends went. The place is very quiet for optimal relaxation. We enjoyed the 30 minute sauna. Water, towels and robes were provided.

They got me in the same day when I woke up in severe neck pain while in town on vacation. I believe my therapist was Shelly (Im so sorry... my memory is awful!) and she was beyond amazing.About 20 min into my massage, I burst into tears because she gave me more relief from my chronic pain in that short amount of time than Ive had cumulatively in the last year.I wish I could have brought her back to Missouri with me! Just absolutely so beyond wonderful. Also so very much appreciated ❤️

Had a massage while on vacation. Disappointed table wasnt heated and only a sheet over me. It was a cold and rainy day. Would of liked music alittle louder. Very professional though.

Justin and Laurie did an outstanding job on my wife and I Saturday 6/25/22 with a couples massage. This was my first ever massage and Justin made sure I was comfortable the whole time. I watched Laurie work on my wife and I could tell my wife was very happy with the results. I highly recommend the upgrade to Rosemary Mint essential oil for the massage! All of the staff were very attentive and friendly - making sure we were taken care of and understood what was to be expected at every turn in the process. If you are ever in the area I highly recommend Paradise Spa!

My friend and I enjoyed a girls day at the Paradise Spa. We had a massage, scrub, hydrotherapy soak, and facial. We both said weve never been so relaxed. Our skin is glowing. My son reserved a half spa day for my birthday while we were on vacation to visit him and it was so enjoyable. Just what I needed. The service was great. I had a massage. followed by a body salt scrub, and a soak in the hydrotherapy tub. I was so relaxed and grateful to have that time of pampering. I purchased image skin care products and love them! My skin looks great! I highly recommend. Thank you for making my day so special.

My wife and I had a wonderful experience at Paradise Spa. They were able to accommodate a whole afternoon experience for us and we enjoyed every minute of one time here. Cory worked the reception area as we arrived. He was excellent at explaining our services and what to expect. He gave us a private area to wait and served us with wine and water. We received a couples massage, body scrubs, and hydrotherapy. The entire staff were tremendous and we will definitely be back in the future. I highly recommend this spa for a romantic day with your partner or spouse.

Their store front seems unassuming, but inside its lovely, peaceul and tastefully decorated. It was my first time getting a massage, like a full one . I was definitely very nervous going in but once it started I slowly relaxed . My masseuse, Justin, was very reassuring and we talked about varying topics all throughout which helped calm me down . It was a great massage and I recommend you request him if you ever go!

Scheduled a 90 min appointment a couple weeks ago while on a visit in town for family matters and was taken back by how good the experience was and how well the establishment was managed. I’ve been to a number of other massage spas before throughout the US and had regularly visited Massage Envy. The difference between the others and here is that everyone was friendly and actually interested in what I was coming in for the visit. I was inquired on the normal questionnaire of info but was also asked about my past massage experiences. My massage therapist took good notation of all the good, bad and uncomfortable experiences in the past and helped incorporate a custom experience with guided instructions to help me get the most out of the massage. 10/10 would recommend!

My boyfriend and i went in for a couples massage and Justin and Naomy were amazing. They made sure we comfortable the entire time, and were very professional. The spa itself was very clean and relaxing. We will definitely go back!

I can barely put into words how awesome this place is! I was treated like royalty! The employees are knowledgeable and respectful. I felt like a completely different person when I left this spa, renewed and relaxed barely describes it!!

Love this place got my face girl Teri ,she doesnt try to sell you with pressure & shes explains everything shes doing & shes super nice.Just went in for a deep tissue with a hurt arm & usually I get a girl but needed in that day used Justin & ir was awesome! Did not feel uncomfortable in anyway & he literally did better work on my arm(rotate cup)than my therapist.Almost got everything in one place! I recommend this place highly!

I had an excellent massage and a facial here and I was super impressed! They also have someone here trained to do cupping which is a rare find! It is kind of expensive if you do anything beyond the basics but definitely worth it. Amy did an amazing job on my back in particular. Highly recommend!

Ive had massages here and regularly recommend it to my wedding clients. My office is just around the corner so it is very convenient. But I keep coming back because it is always great service. The rooms are comfortable as are the tables and the therapists are professional and accommodating. Today was my first facial at this location and it is the best Ive ever had. With menopause Ive been going through crazy skin changes and feel blah. But Teri listened to my concerns and went above and beyond. The facial is comprehsive and includes massage elements plus excellent skin care products. I left feeling relaxed and rejuvenated, and my skin looks the best it has since I started dealing with this life change. I will be back.

Great place for a massage and sport pedicure. Scheduling is relatively easy. I’ve always had a great massage from the professionals that work there. Highly recommend it. Most of my family members have been there and also love it.

I had the most amazing spa day with my daughter in law.....we got a package that included a 50 minute massage, body scrub, and hydro therapy tub.....Highly recommend Kat for massage and scrub,she was pleasant, courteous, professional, engaging, and very skilled......Corey was as well, he was very knowledgeable and informative of the hydro bath. Kayla was a great receptionist, checking in and out went very smoothly.....Our whole experience was wonderful,would highly recommend 👌 .

This place was so nice! I got a relaxation spa package as a gift; it was my first spa treat ever. I could not have been more comfortable the whole time. They explained everything so well. Jen did my massage and she was just so good! I don’t know what type I got but after we talked about what I did for a living and what areas were my target spots she did some magic with her hands. Corey was so welcoming and he helped explain my hydrotherapy and made me feel so comfortable. Thank you, guys!

My wife surprised me with a trip to Treasure Island for our anniversary. We went right from the airport to the spa and had a 92 minute couples massage. It was FANTASTIC!! They were professional, courteous and our massage therapist listened to what we wanted! Thank you Paradise Spa!!

My boyfriend and I went here for a couples’ massage and it was great! The massage therapists (Jen and Karisa I think, I’m sorry if I got the names wrong!) were wonderful and were able to customize the massage based on what we needed. I have been getting therapeutic/deep tissue massages for 10-15 years every month. I lift and do a ton of cardio every week. Hands down the BEST massage I have had. If I lived here vs vacationing I would come here every month. Corey was professional and did a fantastic job. HIGHLY recommend.

I went here for my birthday today , just found the place online , it was close to my house in Madiera Beach. Had a 65 minute massage by Laura which was AMAZING , then an amazing facial , Im so sorry cant remember her name and didnt get a card . She was fantastic as well . I left feeling glowing and so rejevinated . Thanks girls for an amazing 3 hours at your spa.. I will be back for sure . We booked a same-day couples massage and the service was excellent. Irina gave an excellent massage, the facility was clean and professional, and when I came back an hour later to find a missing earring, the spa owner helped me find it! No other massage spas had availability for a couples massage earlier than 8pm for Tuesday; Paradise Spa came through!

My sisters and I had a great experience at Paradise Spa. The facility is lovely, and each of us had amazing massages. I can personally attest that Corey is fabulous, I cannot wait to come back to experience more services and for more massages. We highly recommend!

This place is FANTASTIC!!! The facial was great, the FIR will make you feel like a new person. Dan the massage therapist worked out all of my stress(and gave me some local insights too) and Nicole helped set me up with a great plan for what I needed and the times. For a guy who does not do this stuff often its great to have an understanding person like her to guide you through the process in a calming and relaxed manner. The hydrotherapy tub was and experience in and of its self!! The decor is what you would expect from a high end spa, very relaxing ambiance, soothing music, and clean. Thank you Paradise Spa team!!!!!! I will back and bring friends. Im not sure what it is but There is something special about this place.

We were vacationing on St. Petes Beach and decided to treat ourselves to a relaxing afternoon at a spa. After reading the reviews for Paradise Spa we booked a massage and body glow for the both of us. My friend had Corey and I had Dee. They were both fantastic! The best massages we have ever experienced and the body glow was awesome. The atmosphere is relaxing and cozy. I highly recommend Paradise Massage & Day Spa to anyone who wants to be treated special. Thanks Dee and Corey. We will see you during next years vacation.

Incredible facial treatment had by Barbie and saw some plasma pen training happening which was mind blowing for surgical alternatives!

Three of us received massages at the same time. We each reported to one another that our therapist was professional and that we each got the treatment specific to our problem zones. Service was great from making the appointment to checkout. Clean. Relaxing. Peaceful.

My boyfriend and I came here on a relatively foggy day since the beach was not the best option! Paradise Spa has a lot of great reviews, and I can see why! My boyfriend received a massage, and I got a facial. Karen was AMAZING! I felt that I was in good hands instantly! Even though I live about an hour away, I definitely plan on coming back! My face feels amazing. I bought some samples because the products smelled great! Overall, a relaxing experience!Update: Karen called to see how my skin was doing. SO THOUGHTFUL!

I had a massage today at Paradise Spa with Steve.. It was pure magic. The spa is really nice, the best waiting area ( I recommend you go a bit early so you can start the relaxing there), the music, the setting.. just great. Steve is really, really good. It was a relaxing massage, but he applied pressure where it was needed, so it felt like a deep tissue massage as well.Amazing experience overall - will be back.

I had my first ever massage with Amy. I am a runner and had been suffering with hip pain for MONTHS! I didnt know what to expect or what to as for. Amy listened to my concerns and then did a wonderful 65 minute custom massage. My hip felt so much better! I immediately scheduled another massage for two weeks out. The first massage relieved my pain, the second massage granted me a much fuller range of movement. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Amy!

Loved my spa day here! I am a massage therapist and esthetician myself with 15years experience so I know whats good and whats not. This spa goes above and beyond for you all the while keeping u comfy and cozy! Amy did my massage and spa glow and Barbie did my facial. All were excellently performed and left me feeling very relaxed and relieved. I also did the hydrotherapy bath. Cool experience. I am very hot natured so it did take me a while 2 cool down from it. My friend and I are college students and decided to take our kids to the beach in treasure Island to play while we studied. We stayed at the Crystal Palms Beach Resort and had Corey and Steven come to us for a couples(friends) massage... It was wonderful, they were accommodating, friendly, professional and very in tune with our personal massage needs. The rest of our weekend was very stress free and I attribute it to the massages we received. Definitely a must in my opinion, and they will be seeing me again in the future.

I love this Spa! I go here about once a month for my facials with Georgette (whos awesome!!!) and massage therapy... but the service I got there last week was really worth applauding!I was in charge of playing hostess to my new husbands family and all of my plans fell through for the last day of their trip... I was a mess, racking my brain about how to occupy them, they are all so picky about everything! It occurred to me that maybe the best thing for everybody would give them the opportunity to relax!First of all, I have to mention the super helpful and courteousness support I got on the phone when I called to book my spa packages. They went above and beyond to accommodate all of our scheduling needs. I decided to book my husbands father and mother the Ultimate Dream Package and his little sister the Renewed You package.Everybody came home in a great mood, saying how impressed they were with the treatments, that night was the best night Ive ever spent with them! Everyone was so calm and happy! They were like NEW PEOPLE! His mother kept going on and on about her therapist, Dee... saying all she needed was to just take Dee back to Pennsylvania with her! I dont know what Dee did to that woman, but Id like to personally shake her hand!I put them on the plane the next day and made a bee-line back to the spa so I could get back into balance myself! Highly Recommended!

Paradise Spa is with in walking distance to Treasure Island Beach Resort where we stayed. Christian was amazing and helped to loosen up my muscles in my back. So friendly & helpful along with the rest of the staff. I will be back.Shelly Evans

My husband and I are Loyalty Customers, receiving a 25% discount on massage services, because we visit every two weeks. My husband has had two neck surgeries, and has a lot of hardware. Corey (the caring owner) advised that he utilize Dans 25 year expertise working with accident victims, and he was right. For additional safety, we provided x-ray pictures of his neck, and we feel 100% confident with his care. I am under the care of DeeAnn (spelling?). I enjoy the relaxation benefits of her Swedish Massages. Shes completely receptive to adapting her massage to the order of how I enjoy a massage (i.e. back is last, not first). Shes knowledgeable with essential oil concoctions, so if you have a specific issue, she knows the right ingredients to get you back tip-top. Shes also a really nice person. We recently tried the Infra-Red Sauna experience. Wow! We signed up for the package for that too. Summary. If youre here on vacation, go for it! If youre looking for long term care, with a no-pressure spa environment, go for it! Youll be glad you did.

My husband and I got a couples massage here the day of our wedding. We got married at The Bilmar which isnt too far from this little slice of paradise.We had never gotten a couples massage before and thought itd be a great thing to share and relax us on our special day. It was the perfect thing to take my mind off of everything right before tieing the knot.If I hadnt gotten this massage on my wedding day, I truly think I wouldve been a bridezilla. The staff was so welcoming and professional here. I was somewhat nervous about getting a professional massage because I had never had one before, but after this experience I wont think twice next time.They are having their couples massage special again and I just booked our appointment for tomorrow! Such a great experience and well worth the money! I wont go anywhere else for a massage! Were driving back down from Tampa! I cant wait!

Just returned from a 92 minute custom massage. Scott did an amazing job. I was recently diagnosed with a rare knee condition. Scott was just what the doctor ordered. I loved it so much, Ive already booked an express knees only massage for the day before I fly home. The new receptionist could not have been any sweeter. Outstanding spa facility.

I was extremely unhappy with the service provided by the esthetician Barbie; I have had facials also very knowledgeable with facials. Her service was insufficient and incomplete. The receptionist Jack, was extremely rude and unprofessional; compared my experience to other people and claimed I am the only person to make a complaint regarding the deep pore cleansing facial. Jack, the receptionist continuously spoke over me and refused to give me the owners name or number. I spent over a thousand dollars and drove an hour to this location just to be treated poorly. From my knowledge, the receptionist is the face of the office Jack the receptionist, was a horrible representation of the spa and Barbie was a horrible service provider of the location.

I called for a last minute massage on my birthday in the hopes of working out the tension and aches caused by carrying around my new baby. Corey worked me in and gave me the most wonderful massage. He worked out all my monster knots and made me feel totally relaxed. Cant wait for my next massage!

In May of 2018, I was in a car accident. I had never experienced massages or physical therapy in any form. Whenever I started seeing Dan, I felt very comfortable with him working on my neck and back. It was certainly a transitional period for me since I had never experienced the pain that I was feeling before. I have been seeing Dan for seven months now, and he is always pleasant to be around. He makes the process move smoothly, while also working out any aches, pains, or groans in the body. With his techniques of the BAT therapy he does, he knows what he is doing. I almost believed I would be permanently damaged, but Dan certainly changed my mind. Dan is specialized in a technique that works. He explained it thoroughly as if your body is wrapped up in plastic wrap and can’t breathe, but with his process, BAT therapy helps to relieve chronic pain, and help to let the blood communicate and flow through the body, to help it heal. There is so much more that is done though. He worked very hard with me, yet it felt as if I was just hanging out with a friend. Dan is someone I would recommend to anyone at any point in time. Whether it deals with normal stress, or if it dealt with an injury or accident, Dan is the man to go to. I believe that he is so well versed in what he does, and it really shows. The prices are amazing, and he really worked hard to make sure that he could heal chronic pain. BAT therapy is something that you really should consider if you have any pain at all. From the first session to the last, I have felt more and more like myself. Dan really changed my life for the better, and my pain is gone now. I can certainly say that he is truly and sincerely in the right business. If hands could talk, his certainly do a lot of talking, and a lot of fixing.

This spot is NOT located in an upscale hotel. This spa is NOT what I expected when I walked in. Instead what it is, is WONDERFUL! We were on vacation and were given a coupon for the spa. We chose the package. Both Corey (sp.?) and Kim were wonderful. I highly would recommend Paradise, Corey and Kim! See you next time, Kim ... Maybe Ill get my Lips and brows done!

Amazing massage therapy with lasting results from Dan. Cannot recommend him enough. Highly professional. Makes you feel comfortable.I have used massage therapy for years to try to manage back, shoulder and neck stiffness and pain. Although previous massages at other places over past years have temporarily helped, and made me feel better for the day only, nothing has been as effective as my massage therapy with Dan at this spa.As a woman over 50, it is frustrating to realize that your legs are weaker, balance is decreasing, and activity must be curtailed due to decreased range of movement and generalized pain.Dans extensive experience includes working on connective tissue, loosening up our range of motion. My life has changed! I am bounding up the stairs again, walking and swimming extensively, as well as enjoying that feeling of physical confidence when your balance is strong, due to increased muscle control.Before my massage therapy with Dan, my internal medicine doctor didnt know why my hands were numb throughout the day, stopping me from doing various things, especially typing on the computer and driving. He was going to do tests.My numbness is gone! Yes really, gone. Since everything is connected in our bodies, once my sub-tissue has been loosened up and is moving properly in my neck and back and arms, my hands are no longer numb.Additionally, I had pain around my left shoulder blade when walking and trying to stand up straight, that pain is also gone, and I am walking my dogs several times a day for long distances.Look no further, stop gulping Advil to be active, go get some good massage treatments from Dan.

The service here is really good. Definitely recommended for people who want to relax and eliminate stress. As to comparisons, I cant judge this place compared to other ones, because I havent been to another spa. This place still deserves your attention, at least based on the overwhelmingly positive reviews in addition to my own!

Justin is a skilled and insightful therapist. His hands have great ears and he is really intuitive. I also enjoyed an amazing pedicure with a glass of wine. Prices are definitely affordable. They value wellness and a true spa experience. Definitely 5+ star quality.
