Love this place! Great atmosphere and friendly bartenders! Rachel was such a delight to hang out with on a Monday evening! Great drinks and great specials! Will definitely be back every time I am in SLC.

The absolute best wings I have ever had. I wasnt sure what to expect as I arrived. I was tired, needed a bit of food, and a beverage. The Server was welcoming and kind. She showed me to my booth so I could relax/recharge and I ordered a salad and beer. Soon, I was relaxed and I realized I wanted a bit more. One beer turned to three and the delicious salad led me to a serving of wings - the best wings I ever tasted. The service was friendly and professional. I definitely want to return with friends just to relax and enjoy an evening at this location.

This may have been the bar that my wife and I ever went to that had the friendliest employees and the cleanest bar ever. We sat with Rachel at the bar and she could not have been any nicer to us. She was very understanding that we were out of our hotel but we had a red-eye back to the East Coast and Rachel made it so accommodating for us to sit and watch television and drink and then later on had dinner. I would highly recommend you visiting the Boomerangs Down Under bar. We even got to meet the owners little dog and I believe her name was Mira or Mina but either way she was a very cute little dog that I was fortunate enough to be able to pet on the back and she even tapped my hand with her nose a couple times to get my attention.

Bartender was super nice. Ordered drinks from the drink menu they were very good.

I met people here per the recommendation of a friend. I walked upstairs and EDM music was playing. I felt a little out of the place due to the grunge vibe but I can see people were enjoying themselves. I checked out downstairs and it was more my vibe. Chill music and easy access to the bar. Drinks were reasonably priced and made well by the bartenders. I was attended to well by the bartending staff. I didn’t try the food. I will have to come back for that experience. The bathrooms though were trashed and stunk. Overall the place can clean up. I did park down the street which is to be expected downtown.

Quick little stop as we were visiting downtown. Nice & quiet dive bar, $5 Margarita Mondays. Rachel was very nice. We will definitely come back when we come to Utah again.

We had a wonderful Sunday Brunch, and why not a couple of IPAs to go with it. Susie pubs, like Irish and English pubs are common for us in Thailand, especially Bangkok and many tourists locations as well. However I was not expecting one in Salt Lake City. And to go a step further one of this authentic caliber. Its the real deal.The owner was milling about the place, seemed to be preoccupied with employee issues, I was hoping to have a chat with him as to what possessed him to open A Pub I the downtown district of Salt Lake City.Sunday was our only day here, we were hungry, when I feel like eating, pubs are my thing.The menu was brunch only on Sunday. No worries here, they had an excellent choice for customers. I really was enjoying their food, well done.Beers? Yes and plenty of good choices. Staff are friendly and chatty.The pubs design is comfortable with sports channels booming. We asked to see a football ⚽ match, yes the one Americans call soccer. They switched it on for us.ConsWasnt too pleased with a group of youthful types that brought in their dogs. Yes two dogs. Not sure why that was allowed. They kept petting one of them putting it up on the bar. Then another escaped and ran down the walkway of the bar near where we were sitting. It took at dump (as I was eating) very near me. Seriously! That was revolting.One of the staff discovered the dung, cleaned it up but did nothing about getting rid of the dogs. Hmmm.That is my only complaint.Cheers.

I love this place. It has a fantastic atmosphere! The service is amazing, and the staff is very accommodating. I’m a picky eater , so when a restaurant or bar can accommodate me it’s a big win in my book! Thank you! Would definitely go again! Nothing but love for the bar, and the staff!

I went into this place on a Friday afternoon. It was empty except for some ladies sitting down the way and a band setting up for the night. The service was excellent. Stephanie, the bartender, was great. Her recommendation for a burger was spot on. She kept my Coke full. The mushroom burger, delicious.Why three stars, then? I, for one, am tired of being nickel and dimed to death. My bill, when presented, had a $.54 service fee tacked on. Not a credit card fee. I hadnt yet paid. I asked about it and was told, I cant remember why my boss put that on there. Other people have asked about it.Im cheap. I dont like fees. Especially fees that are just added for fun and then taxed. Great staff, great food. You can do better.

Had dinner here on a Tuesday evening. Place was absolutely dead; only 2 other people at the bar and they left before I even got my beer. Despite that the bartender didnt speak with me almost at all beyond getting my beer and food order.Ordered a Guinness, the cheesesteak sandwich with double steak, and a side salad. The side salad was a Cesar, but I wasnt told that, so I ordered it with blue cheese dressing. It was fine. The cheesesteak was subpar. It certainly didnt seem to have double the steak and it was very dry; steak was overcooked and it needed a lot more cheese.Overall, it was disappointing.

Upstairs is AMAZING! They have this rap concert there called Magical Mondays on the last Monday of every month! The sound is great, The fog machine is awesome, and the lights are amazing! Definitely recommend!!!

Fun bar with live music and late night eats! The drink specials every day make it quite affordable and the staff is amazing!

Boomerangs is a dual-location bar with pubs in Millcreek and Downtown.The downtown location is something youd expect to find there with salty bar tenders and live local music from time to time. If youre feeling down then they may be on your level. A good place to waste some time before a night at the Eccles, or after their event for some down to earth yellow beer and fries if youre feeling so cultured. The bitter Parramatta is always ready at the bar.Hooroo

We were just in town for a few days, walking around downtown SLC and felt a little parched. Decided to pop into Boomerangs and so, so glad we did!! First of all, Steph was absolutely the best! Super nice and friendly, and as we were the first ones in the place after they opened, had some great chats too! Beer prices were great, as well as the shot special too. In fact, because we enjoyed ourselves so much (in no small part due to Steph just being amazing 😊) we came back in for another round after we had left to go walk around a bit more, lol.10 out of 10, highly recommend, and we will 100% be coming back!

Just tried to go into this establishment. Was refused entry because I didn’t have my physical passport on me. I had a digital copy and was turned away. I’m 42 years old btw. Didn’t get carded anywhere else in SLC. As an actual Australian very disappointed. I would not return or spend money there after that weird interaction.Thanks.

If you’re a brown or black person, I wouldn’t recommend this place to you. I was in Salt Lake City last week with 3 of my friends when I was stopped at the front door by the two men who worked there and they said “you’re not gonna want to go in there, a lot of racist words will be said” in a displeased way. My friends and I just looked at each other and said thanks for the heads up and walked away. It’s sad that in 2024 we still have to face racism just for existing and not bothering anyone. Of all 22 states that I’ve had the pleasure of visiting, because of this experience Utah has left a bad taste in mouth. So if you’re not white, don’t go here :/Just let the racist people mingle amongst each other and spend your money where you’re accepted.UPDATE: they responded to my review but their response is false. I posted about them in a UT facebook group and there are other people of color who have experienced the same as we did. Plus I just found out that this establishment hires racist comedians and it isn’t just silly situations they make fun of… it’s blatant racism and lies being disguised as jokes. You’ll definitely be uncomfortable here. So again, I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone of color.

Call ahead before you visit. I arrived and was told the cook would be on duty at 5. I waited two hours til 5 then was told the kitchen was under construction 🚧 😢 and there would be no food.

Theres a near viral post going around about this place hosting Nick Simone who is incredibly dangerous and abusive. So many women have come forward about him and what hes done. Ill delete this review if they do the right thing but until then this bar is unsafe.

It was fun listening to the DJ and the drinks were great! The DJ is there on Monday nights, and its a throwback vibe.There is a down under theme but not too over the top!

Pretty cool little bar! My friend and I came across here when Blue Iguana had an hour wait.Ordered yummy fries & chicken tenders.The bartender was attentive by keeping our water glasses full (without asking him to do so).The gentleman who brought out our food was super attentive with good service skills.Well definitely come back to this bar... especially because they played several songs from Nine Inch Nails album, Pretty Hate Machine. Super impressed with this bar.... we came in for their $5 Margarita Monday.

Really cool place especially during the day, they had music on the patio it was awesome. There was a gnat in my water and then one in my old fashioned. One of the workers followed me in the bathroom and made it real weird.. maybe it was because I had my camera bag? I didnt like it. As soon as he saw me using the bathroom he closed the door and went off again.The only problem is they served me in the day but not in the night because of my ID.

I DJ’d here twice and both times I had a GREAT time. Friendly staff, cool venue. And even better EVERYONE I brought to the venue had a great time too. Def would recommend as a DJ or artist looking for a venue or as a music lover looking to hear new artists. They have two floors for two different vibes. Saturday April 13th Boomerangs is hosting a predator that several women have come forward about. They were warned and still decided to have him play. Bars that allow notorious predators should not be supported. Find somewhere else.

This bar has decent drinks and a welcoming atmosphere. During the week it can be pretty dead but they’ve been working on more of a live music scene upstairs, with various ways to contribute or just watch. For example, if you have a small band or are an individual performer, there’s open mic night or you can schedule to be featured. On the weekends, it gets pretty busy downstairs.

Literally love it 💗 drinks are well priced fun event though the week, also the staff is so fun and friendly

Was fun atmosphere laid back relaxed and fun vibe good drinks the bartenders were super cool.

I havent been since the new ownership and probably wont return. Three of us sat at the bar and got 1 round; after that, there was no service. Im pretty patient when a place is busy, but there were three bartenders, and it wasnt even half full of people.

Came here for a stop on the mimosa crawl. Two thumbs down! 👎🏼👎🏼 We sat down at a table and waited 20 minutes for our dirty table to be cleared off and wiped off. No server came to our table, we had to go to the bar to order, no champagne flutes and the mimosas are lukewarm. My girls and I will not come back.

Never had a better bar experience. Food exceeds expectations. The drinks are great and I love all the Australian decor. This place is a must visit.

Amazing bar and food! The fact that they allow dogs is amazing! I love the specialty drinks and food. The food that they have and specialty drinks that they have are amazing. Come in Saturday and Sunday for brunch until 4pm. And the Sunday night until Friday for dinner specials until 12am.

Food was trash, service was trash.Drinks were weak and overpriced.Not another dollar from me.Update: After receiving the worst service Ive ever had at a restaurant, I left just a 15% tip, which was more than fair for what I got.In balancing my checking account, I discovered the server adjusted it herself to be a 22% tip. Im pretty sure thats illegal.

Went here on new years and the server gave us our food and drinks then never came back it wasnt even super buys it was busy busy but not packed we had to have other severs get us more drinks and our check the wings are super good but the Philly cheesteak is a bit dry and not enough cheese the building is super cool though its a fun place to drink and there is a club upstairs

Bartenders are amazing, the food is always yummy, live entertainment is always on point for the crowd and the club upstairs is awesome.

I was there last saturday and i closed my check and lefted tip what i wanted to giveand checked my account they charged me extra, and i called them still didnt get my money back, or calls. pls call me and refund my money back thank you. if you come this place closed your check right away.its like stealing money from some one without they permission… its not right, illegal

This was, unfortunately, one of the worst bars Ive been to. Understaffed, with a single barman who had to refer to the drinks menu a lot to make the drinks, and still managed to unfortunately make the worst Old Fashioned Ive ever had. Our party were getting pretty harassed by a bunch of drunks and the barman seemed more interested in serving them more rather than moving them along or calling them on their behaviour. Cant recommend.

Walked around the whole area before settling on this wonderful place. Best music we found, bartenders were helpful with great drink reccomendation, cheese fries were delicious and the owner is awesome, I will definitely be back!

This place is a hidden gem imo. Nice decor, friendly staff, reasonable prices. I got nachos both times I came here, which were really good. It’s standard bar food, and it’s a lot better than many of the more popular breweries in sugarhouse. I’ll be coming back.

This place used to be an Irish bar but went with a Australian themed bar. It looks like they have improved the menu the kitchen looks cleaner and the bathrooms are also improved. But taking an account, theres really nothing special about this bar other than its clean and they did some modernization to the place. This bar is in the heart of salt lake City. Near the City Creek Mall. This bar would be a good stopping point after a day of shopping. Good yeah.

After reading the reviews, I wonder if we just got them on an off day. We sat outside, saw a waiter and waitress come outside several times, and neither of them waited on us. I would say it was because they were busy, but there was only maybe 4 to 5 tables outside with customers. We must have waited 15 minutes and I finally went inside to order drinks and food. The food was delicious and the drinks were good, only reason this isnt one star. I wouldve liked another drink, but they never came back to our table. Had to go inside to pay. So if you like to wait on yourself, this is the place for you.

This place was absolutely amazing! Theyre so kind there and all of them have sparkling personalities as well as a fantastic sense of humor. Their DJs are amazing, especially White Lightning! If youre looking for a cool and fun place to drink, dance and enjoy yourself, this is definitely the place to go! I will be coming back here very soon!

Had some decent drinks and the club was open until 2am (they stopped selling alcohol by 1am). Their DJ could be more flexible as his playlist was not entertaining most of the people there and he stated his Mac was “offline” - so he couldn’t take requests. That made laugh but anyways 😂

Would give a -10 if that was an option. Worst service we have experienced, ever. Took 1 hour to get our food and drink order, after an additional hour our food wasn’t out and the server asked if we still wanted it made….what the actual hell? No clue how this place has stayed open. Y’all need a complete overhaul. Seems to be severely short staffed and the kicker was that it was over half empty!! Please do better.

Went to Boomerang’s for Dub-Ronics at the beginning of January. The bar service was great and the music was good. However, the smoke machine was too much. It’s such a small space that the smoke fills up the room very quickly. It was difficult to see and especially difficult to breathe. It was hard to be able to have a good time. It was brought to the bar’s attention and was told the switch got turned on the highest setting and it was a accident.From what I’ve seen on social media though, the smoke levels seem very similar.Really don’t want to go back if there’s going to be too much smoke which is sad because it’s hard to find a bar that has good EDM.I’d honestly be happy with no smoke machine at all! The lights are more than enough to set the vibes for such a tiny space.

Came here on a Friday around 9pm. The place was fairly dead inside so atmosphere want great. A band was leaving from the patio outside so maybe that took away from it some. We did get some food and it tasted like the frozen then fried pub fair. Other than that staff was friendly and attentive. Decent place to just grab a beer.

I actually havent been in to Murphys in quite a while. But I enjoy this bar quite a bit. Bar food is typical and decently priced. The bar staff is pretty awesome. Furring the warm weather season you can sit out front on the patio (if you get there before the crowds) and enjoy the city passerby. No pool tables but you can play darts. Oh and super excellent selection on brews and liquor

GREAT vibes. Came here to celebrate after our MMA win for Fierce Fighting Championship and it did not disappoint. The place was packed and lively due to its narrow setup. They had a live DJ blasting jams in the back. We were late for the food, but it looked like they serve up high end dishes you would see at a 5-star restaurant. The bartenders recommended some wonderful local brews and....one of them was a vampire. Enough said. Thanks for the experience 🤙🏽

An absolutely fabulous bar, with absolutely fabulous bartenders who lack no passion when it comes to the flawless drinks they pour. The interior design details make you feel at home, and yet as if you’re on some grand adventure at the same time. A bar downstairs, a club upstairs, and an exciting, yet calming energy all around. I’ve traveled the world, yet seldom come across bars as wonderful and as intimate as this one. If you’re in Salt Lake, it’s a must! Trust me... you’ll be dying to go back!

The night club is way better than all the othersin SLC. It always has great vibes and great music. You can actually sit down if you want too. Its a small venue so you get to experiance the small underground feel. I will be back for more shows.

Went there for the Halloween contest this year after it was advertised on their site. Turns out they “forgot” to follow through with the contest. Waste of a night. Wish I went somewhere else for the holiday.

An Australian bar that doesn’t accept Australian ID’s… the irony! We’ve been in Utah for two weeks and haven’t been questioned about our ID’s once. I wish I could give 0 stars. Not even an ounce of the Australian hospitality you’d find in the actual down under. Do not recommend!

I honestly have never met such a kind, professional and friendly staff.....ever. From the gentlemen out front, to the bar and security staffs, each and every person went out of their way to make you feel welcome and comfortable. Came here to hear and dance to world class hybrid trance by Janne Mansnerus of Super 8 and Tab. Might just have been the most stunning set I have heard in a long time, with a special thanks to local talent and producer Naylixa, who threw down his own incredible set ahead of Tab...thank you Justin ! Great crowd, great atmosphere and...these guys know how to throw a party !! Thank you for an awesome night !

Dive bar to the t, bartender was great and polite, I ordered some tacos, if I could separate my reviews. The tacos were actually amazing, would ask for anything different from the bartender.

The pics and reviews make this place look so cool & nice ....... what a let-down when we got there. Empty, kinda ghetto and no air conditioning. Its cool for a neighborhood dive bar but we were expecting a nicer place.

I really liked the food but it was hard to choose something. The Reuben had a ton of meat, which was great considering most other places hardly give anything at all. Everything was very reasonably priced and service was great. We sat at a table to the side of the bar. Our drinks werent filled very fast but what we did have was good. The menu is full of great stuff and jokes.I wish that there had been a little more light. It seemed almost too dark and was far brighter outside at 7pm.

Pretty classic bar with green carpet and the smell of the early 90s. Service is okay and theyre commonly out of certain beers. Overall itd be fun to be a regular at this bar, but with the selection of bars downtown its hard to justify shacking up here for long. Wings are tasty, beer is cold, life here is pretty average 😆

Place needs a damn good clean. Its a dove bar but without dive bar prices. $9 for a fosters? Give it up. I dont know if the lines hadnt been cleaned or the barrel was old but it was pretty gnarly.

Best damn Philly Cheesesteaks in the city hands down! Let alone their fries are are dank AF. Friendly & quick service! The spot is also very clean and well maintained. Love this place

This was by far the worst bar I’ve ever been to. Drinks were 1/4 full and the food was about the saltiest I’ve ever eaten. Had to get up and ask for the check, my favorite thing to do. $53 for two drinks, salty tots and a chicken wrap. Horrible service!

New owners but, the most kind, down to earth people Ive ever met. Great service, fun, non-judgmental, makes everyone feel so welcome and with reasonable prices. If youre ever in the area, dont hesitate to stop by!

Kazj B. was the worst bartender my friends and I have ever experienced. we are in Utah on vacation and unfortunately encountered this guy. There was absolutely no reason for him to treat (not only us) but the other guests at his bar the way he did. needless to say, we took our business elsewhere.

Great design. Amazing staff. Katelyn is incredible and very attentive! Loved the salmon salad and the cocktails are top notch! The owners are wonderful and the attention to detail is simply lovely! Great atmosphere.

Probably my favorite bar in downtown SLC. The food is typical mostly fried bar grub and sandwiches, but it’s definitely not the worst. Good selection of beers, and copper mugs for proper mules. Friendly staff and a summer time patio. Always a good time!

Just a bar.Didnt get any food, but the beer was cold. Service was fine, but not anything special. I was baffled that staff were wanding patrons down when I left. That didnt seem to match the otherwise chill vibe of the place.Id go back, but I wouldnt go out of my way.

We got lucky! Boomerangs was the only thing happening on Main St. on a Sunday afternoon, so we stopped in. Our Brunch was excellent, the food, the drinks, the service, the location, and the atmosphere far exceeded other similar venues. We will definitely be back and have found our new spot for going out.

It is a wonderful bar. Come have a drink enjoy the evening on patio. Wonderful staff to chill with. My home away from home. And great music to select and nobody cares if you sing along (badly).

A fine Irish themed pub! Drink your fill of tasty beers and a variety of liquor delights. The food is decent for a small pub and definitely gets the job done after a few cold ones. I would definitely recommend this place for any St. Patricks day or any pub crawl adventure.

We embarked on a journey through the Amazon forest and fell upon one of the most amazing bars in my life the atmosphere was stellar, the Irish vibes were there and by the gods did I have the best time of my life. May the Gods shine upon this bar and give it enlightenment, the superior sound of the DJ gives an a most excellent vibe.

I love this place. A casual, relaxing, brass-rail joint. It has long been a favorite lunch spot for me. Drinks are reasonably priced, as is the food menu. The food is much better than you would think.

The best Bar in Salt Lake City. When my parents visit from out of town we always end there. Servers are quick, drinks are priced competitively, and the food is always good. Darts in the back are fun.

Best place in town to get a drink. Devin was the best bartender I could’ve asked for. When I come back to Utah I will definitely make this a go to bar!

It is a nice location and decent offerings and great service, but rhr building smells like something died. I think theres something deeply wrong with the carpet. At first we thought someone had used the doorway as a urinal. We were not correct.

Murphys is your average bar. It does alright and has a bit of Irish flare to it. This is not the most amazing bar youll ever visit, Im sure, but it is definitely chill and you can get an honest drink at this place. The car bombs are also tasty. Worth a hop if you want to chill out with some friends. Nothing crazy going on here. Pool in the back. Cheers!

The only good thing about this place is the dart games. Shots and hard liquor drinks are more expensive here, I usually pay 4 bucks for a run and coke but here I pay 6. the food is overpriced, 9 bucks for frozen fries with 50cent cheese and bacon thrown on top. If the girls are behind the bar its hard to get them to give you drinks because lonely drunks are trying to hard to get lucky.

We went to the nightclub upstairs, it was a slow night but the DJ was good and the VIP section wasnt reserved so it was fun to hang out in there

Went in for food and drinks. Walked in, sat down… waited for 10 minutes for someone to even acknowledge us. We left 😔

Quaint little bar off Main Street. Bartender was very nice and was managing the whole place to herself so kudos to her. I wanted some bangers and mash, but it was a rainy afternoon in the middle of the summer so I went with the Rueben which was done nicely. I like the dart boards in the back and will be back for St Pattys Day.

Its a cool place to chill and grab some to drink and a bite to eat.

Too many drunks at only 11 on a Friday night!Wife and I stopped in for a drink while waiting for our ride home.Bartender was shouting at a woman right in front of us for not paying for her drinks.On the other side of us a very large man who was very drunk was shouting at the bartenders that he was not drunk.Embarrassing overall. Wife and I had to sit still till it all blew over. This was all at around 11pm, not 2am. Oh and cocktails cost as much or more than a bar you feel safe in.

So about a couple months ago a certain bartender gave me a Responded to my order How the F#$@ you going to drink that! I replied if I have to pay extra I dont mind. She serviced my drink with a attitude. So when I paid I still wrote a tip on the receipt, while I sat there I scratched out the tip part after I already had put a tip in . She didnt deserve a tip by all means, the way she responded to me. Come today I decide to go back and give them my business after this incident. When I ordered the same bartender gets us kicked out for in her own terms bailing on our tab. After being a loyal customer since I turned 21, 5yrs ago. Oh well I guess not tipping a RUDE bartender is bailing on my tab Still wish her the best in life.

If your looking for a place with a hole in the wall feel, then Murphys would be the joint downtown. Nestled in the heart of downtown, this pub is a great stop on St. Pattys day. Small, but efficient on space and service. If u have a large group for a Pub Crawl, over 60, you may not get everyone in. They have TV screens all over, darts, and a Juke Box for entertainment. Staff are quick and friendly.

I came here to whet the old whistle after seeing the Joseph Smith movie at temple square ... here Ill give you a second to allow that to process. I liked this place a lot. The bartenders/waiters were very helpful and friendly, very willing to put on the game that I most wanted...Knicks of course! They have a fully stocked bar for you alcoholics and also serve some pretty delicious food. I like the location down town next to everything and right by Trax...what could be better than passing up a DUI to hop right on a train to drop you off home? Its clean inside and as you eat and drink the employees are constantly cleaning right in front of you and even take the time to take whatever trash talk you deem necessary to dish out while youre team destroys the competition. Not a sports bar though, this attracts the 30 to 40 business crowd from what I saw. They have a juke box which was playing Hall and Oats while I was there, literally for over an hour. Best part, the lady didnt even charge me for the drink that I spilled.

It’s a decent bar. Nothing I would go out of my way for, but it’s a good spot to chill with friends.

I visited Boomerangs to play a show. It was a lot of fun. The bar has tasty drink options, and prices arent bad for a bar downtown. It was packed by the time the show was over.

The least Australian menu Ive seen, including outback. Outside of the fish and chips the food is American/Mexican. Not 1 Aussie beer or spirt. Disappointed

Great dice bar in the heart of downtown Salt Lake. Easy going atmosphere and great bar service. Dont expect anything fancy here but simple beer and cocktails are a great price and the place is perfect for gathering the crew

Its almost the same as when it was Murphys but theres a dance club upstairs now. Friendly bar tenders and pretty good food. Its a good place to meet friends and hangout.

Not going to lie Murphys could use a serious remodel. The bar is old and kind of dirty. However, the atmosphere is pretty cool and the drinks average and not overpriced.

Typical dive bar and moderately expensive drinks. Not great food selection, galley style entrance with not a ton to do. Also, one been to Ireland. This is only an Irish bar by name. They dont even have Magners or any real Irish drink (Killians and Guinness dont count).

We had a large group and the bartender eas awesome. He answered all our questions, gave great suggestions, and served us all pretty quickly. Fun place and cool atmosphere.

This place use to be fun. Now it’s a 15$ cover charge. Don’t waste your time.

This bar is now under new ownership and is actually called Boomerangs. Its a nice bar with a good selection of draft beer. The have a small menu but the food is delicious!

Murphy’s was my go to bar back in the day, and since this place took the spot, there’s a little nasty bar tender there that has kicked me out of the bar twice without any explanation. Thinking of taking them to court. I like the upstairs bar, but bad vibes downstairs. Stay away.

Great atmosphere, downstairs bar was nice and hat lots of seating. Upstairs was packed and the HVAC system could not keep it cool with maximum occupancy

Little dive bar with friendly bar tenders. Ancient change machine near the dart boards hadnt been filled and literally short changed me by a lot, but the bar tender made me whole then placed an out of order sign on the machine. Id go again~

Discrimination against foreigners. Im visiting Salt lake and try to get to this pub tonight. The waitress asked for ID, I showed my French passport. She said she needed to see my Visa stamp??? Like she works for immigration or what? Im here as a tourist, the stamp I have wont show her my birthdate.I went to other pubs where they accepted my passport and just wrote down my number on their log.

For someone who luvs the loud and abnormally insane crouds like at the clubs, this place is awesome to get away once in a while. they have friendly staff and fast service. the environment is mellow but alive enough for me to enjoy it. 😘💋

It seemed to me like a typical bar for locals. The bar keeper was extremely friendly, while still not invading our conversation at the bar. When we were there on a Sunday evening, it was not very full (late evening) which we appreciated.

I think this place is great. I have come here a few times and the service is quick. The beer is not flat. The bartenders have sass and/or character.

Comfy and yummy. Boom yah! Only 2 TVs so if youre flying solo and looking to watch a game and dont get a good seat just might be awkward. Hence the 4 stars instead of 5. Definitely recommend though

Went there for corned beef and cabbage on St Patricks Day. Thought we would try an Irish place to eat at on St Patricks day. The special was corned beef & cabbage. This is the worst corned beef I have ever eaten. Tough and chewy, no flavor. I will not be going back.

Had a group gathering and the staff was more then accommodating. The selection on drinks for Utah is well above the others the food was great.

This bar made me feel like I was apart of their family. The friendliest place I have ever been in my entire life! Amazing!

Owner is hostile towards people trying to work with him and bring him extra business. He yells at people out front and makes accusations without proof instead of just having a conversation and working things out. Very unprofessional.

Awesome Irish Pub! Their Reuben sandwich might be the best in town but dont take my word for it go check it out for yourself, you wont regret it.

This place has horrible staffing. They told my dad to leave their bar because he was filming. Hes a big YouTuber and the amount of publicity it would bring them would be endless, but now....not anymore.

Terrible customer service, would not recommend this bar at all. Stay away and find a bar that knows how to stay in business. Very good reason there isnt a line here.
