The host wasnt overly welcoming to us or very helpful when we asked about parking as he was primarily focused on his phone. The servers were friendly and helpful. They were professional but not overly warm. We found the food to be okay to good, but not exceptional. Each of us had different experiences and perspectives but, as a group rated the food on average a 7 out of ten for the four of us. The breakfast potatoes were hard and didnt taste very fresh. The outside dining was comfortable.
I came here to watch some live music. Unfortunately I didnt really enjoy the music so I didnt watch much.As for the dining experience, at first I ordered a Guinness which was not good at all. The taste was definitely way off. When I let the server know he apologized and kindly switched it out for a local IPA which was better. He later told me that the nitrogen was running low which is what caused the issue with the Guinness. I dont think that was it though because it had a nice creamy head on it like a Guinness should. It just didnt taste right.I ordered the blackened salmon dish, and the fish was good. However, the rice was on the dry side and had some very hard crunchy pieces on the plate. Im not sure if this means I had been sitting for a while in the kitchen, but it was definitely a misstep. Rice should never be crunchy. While I realize that it couldve just been an off night, for me the lackluster experience means Its not likely Ill return.
Ive come to the realization that the food in Utah is not so great.Have not have a decent meal yet.Their rendition of a flatbread is a perfect example. The bread is not crispy, and its drowned in balsamic drizzle. The arugula had zero flavor. The prosciutto was decent but not great. Couldnt taste it past the balsamic drizzle .Service. That is a whole other story.Just hope Brett does not serve youThe fella with the red cap, 86 was nice.Beyond that, dont let the cool building fool you.Lipstick on a pig.And the fact that the bartenders use their glasses as ice scoops. Ill leave it at that
Got ignored by our first server, she takes to us right away but then didnt come talk to us for over an hour so we had to flag down a different one. I ordered the shepherds pie, it was not a Shepard pie, it was a ground beef patty with potatoes on it. He was good but overall this was a very bad experience.
What a fun location. Parking nearby for 2 hours was $10. The staff were really friendly. I had gotten the mango habanero wings which were so delicious but super spicy! The coconut margarita was delicious as well. You can’t go wrong with the shots, we had the Doc Holladay and it exceeded our expectations. However, there had been a band performing and it was so loud I couldn’t hear what I was saying haha. Regardless, fun atmosphere and great selection of food/drinks.
Visiting SLC from Detroit and found this great low-key gastro-pub. The beer was great, the atmosphere was very relaxed, the music was awesome...even before the live band showed. The band was very good...good songs and not too loud, so you could still speak normally at your table without yelling. The food was excellent - we started with the french onion soup and then split the NY Strip Burrata Toast. It was marvelous. This should definitely be a stop if you are looking for a nice, relaxing place with a good atmosphere.
This place has it all... Great atmosphere, great service, food and drinks are amazing. I love that you just seat yourself, so you are not just shoved somewhere that you dont want to be. I will definitely make the drive from Orem to visit this place again and again. Pictures are of lunch and drinks, but the brunch is amazing also.
I normally like this place. But today was not a great let alone good. The service was absolutely terrible! First ...she said shed be right back with the waters, 15 minutes later water was delivered, then 15 minutes later we got our drinks. And she asked/ said that its almost shift change and the new server will be with us in 2 minutes another 20 minutes still nothing, even though she was still there. She finally came back to us and took our orders. When you have to pay for parking and youre sitting there for an hour and some change to get your food and then I get a ticket for not having enough time on the spot. The place was not busy at all! VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!!
One of the best bars in Salt Lake, and I cannot say enough good things about the staff, especially Fern, the manager. I had my jacket incorrectly taken from the bar by someone who thought it belonged to them, and Fern, went out of her way to track it down and help me retrieve it over the next several days. I was genuinely impressed by the level of care and customer service she showed, for something that was not her, or Gracies fault to begin with. I would highly recommend Gracies to anyone looking for a great place to grab a drink, or as a place to work, given my personal experiences with them over the years.
Skye was so great. My friend wanted a blue boy because she from AZ and they made it perfectly. The food was great. The vibe was also good. Go up stairs the view is nice and you can hear each other talk. The spinach and artichoke dip was amazing. The dynamite shrimp was so good i wish they had a meal.
Terrific service. Live music and ample patio seating were nice. Food menu was limited at the time of our visit, brunch items only. We were not in breakfast mood. My wife had salad with chicken breast and really liked it. I had the Agave Buffalo wings and found them just ok.
I got there about 10:00 p.m. I was able to hear one selection of the band that night. The service was slow It took about over 20 minutes with my food to arrive. I had the salmon burger minus the bun with sweet potato fries. It was probably a 3 oz filet portion which I thought was small to make a burger. but it came with arugula red onions capers which was excellent and I believe chunks of melted cheese which was excellent.
Ordered burger no onions, asked if plate comes with fry sauce. Well I got onions a lot and 5-7 minutes after I got fey sauce. After asking a diff server. Then my waitress brought my original, smh. We had nachos as well Carne asada and though it was a big plate it had very little Carne asada. I did NOT ask but the manager did come and speak to me about it so that was good but overall, not satisfied. Maybe if youre drinking good is ok but sober not at all...
I was drinking a mt dew on the way to the bar, and they wouldnt let me in, because they thought I was drinking alcohol even after explaining I wasnt drinking anything. Ive never been denied access to a bar and felt embarrassed and disgraced by the security. They were rude and told me to go else where. I would highly recommend avoiding this place, as it is not what it used to be. No one should feel unwelcome, especially not at a bar. Salt Lake City can do better. *Update to owners response: Its against the state laws to drink a mt dew??
My coworker and I were in town for work and needed to grab a late dinner off a desirable menu. My chicken picatta with asparagus and mashed potatoes was delicious. My coworker wasnt to pleased with the blacked salmon. Comments that that salmon was overcooked and the blackened seasoning were off. Two sure fire ways to ruin a good piece of fish. The bartender was great, prompt friendly service. Offered to get the kitchen to remake or try another dish. It was late and he declined. Nice of her to offer though.
Our server Emilio recommended the steak sandwich and it was SO GOOD, as were the mules we ordered. The live music created a fun atmosphere as well. Overall a great place! Glad we stopped as we were passing through SLC.
The service downstairs w StarLord was perfect. We moved upstairs due to weather and noise and the service upstairs was not as good. We were 3 women and you get tell that the waitress was ticked that we werent men.
Fantastic service, great menu, delicious drinks! Fun rooftop and outdoor sections. Highly recommend the heavenly lemon drop and the pretzel bites!UPDATE after visiting a second time: I highly recommend the peach mule, the coconut margarita, the seafood mac and cheese, and the prosciutto flatbread.
Service was not good! We ordered food ant dis not get it for over 30 min. Asked for a manage. Fern approached a table of eight where I was sitting. She proceeded to cause a scene and made all of us feel extremely uncomfortable. We were waiting for a group of 40 people for the bar crawl. Ferns unprofessionalism caused us to leave and go elsewhere. We are happy to spend thousands somewhere else.In the future, you may want to ask Fern not to be so combative in front of a group of patrons.I do not recommend going to this bar. Plenty of other establishments give much better service!
Not really my kind of place. But its very popular, and the people I drive to and from there are quite nice.Employees are very respectful, and helpful. There are multiple floors, and a patio. Inside is a dance floor, but not that large. This place is more of a restaurant than a club.
Food was delicious. Great fries!! Beer was cold and again, prices were good. Service was a bit slow and although it got cold on the outside patio, they didnt turn on the fire pits until almost everyone had left!
Great drinks, amazing food, and a fun atmosphere! The bartenders have always been so nice, its always a great place to go!
We were looking at highly reviewed restaurants/bars in the area and come across Gracie’s multitude of excellent reviews and thought surely this place is good, right? Wrong. We were extremely unimpressed. The atmosphere was unwelcoming and we discussed leaving for quite some time. Ultimately we decided to stay, because of the $10 we paid to park. A live band began playing, and made an already loud place, even louder. We could not hear each other speak let alone our waiters. Not even my great grandparents would have enjoyed the music they played. It was cold inside, not once did we remove our coats despite it having been 60 degrees outside just two hours prior. We had two servers, yet both were distracted and inattentive. They checked on the tables that were drinking alcohol, but never us. Our meals came out at different times. They plated the food really well, but it didn’t taste half as good as it looked. We will neither return on recommend this place.
I went to Gracies last Friday night and it was great! Busy (obviously, it was a Friday night) but there was still room for us to sit and have a good time. Service was awesome! Despite it being busy, our server was attentive and our food and drinks arrived quickly. Food and drinks were delicious and the prices were great, also! Will be going back soon!
Our party of 7 had a Wagyu Burger, Seafood Mac & Cheese, Bacon Burger, Carne Asada Tacos, French Onion Soup, and caprese salad with a side of brussel sprouts. All of our entrees were enjoyed and cooked correctly. They have iced tea it is not sweet it is not brewed tea it tastes more like lemonade Gold peak tea, but they have sweetener to add.We ate indoors they do have rooftop dining and bar seating.
Kelly was absolutely amazing! Her happy energy and superb service was top notch. The food was soooooo delicious, butternut squash soup and the rolls... I took a half dozen home with me 😍 Yummmmm!!! I will definitely be back!
Amazing service, delicious food, good choice of wines by the glass and bottle,.plenty of taps and multiple screens for watching the NCAA Basketball Tournament. We liked it so much, we visited 3 times during our 4 day trip. My favorite was the Garlic Burger--Yum!
The food always justifies the price. Im ever in awe at the flavors and balance. Compliments to the chefs lol. Bring friends the portions are huge and sharable.
First time at Gracies. It was on a Friday at about 7:00 PM. We didnt have to wait for a table and we could sit anywhere. We sat upstairs on the balcony, which was perfect. The ambience was great. Chill folks shared the balcony with us. The weather was just right. Credit to Gracies for taking advantage, and having outdoor seating. The live music was nice...and chill as well. One singer sounded a lot like Alison Krauss, and another sounded like Jewel.I ordered a Turkey Wrap with regular French fries. The wrap was good, but it doesnt call me back for another one. I may get the Curry bowl next time. The fries were great.I give a 4 because it took about 15 minutes and two requests to get more ketchup for the fries. About 5 minutes after the first request, the waiter came back and said a waitress would bring it right out. About 7 minutes later I requested again to the same waiter. He seemed a bit surprised that it hadnt been brought out. He then brought itout a few minutes later. Its not a big deal, but it was part of my experience. They didnt seem busy, and it was a simple request. Will I be back for a second visit... ABSOLUTELY!Great place to take a date, or to go with friends.
Food is absolutely awesome. Jalapeños poppers are delicious but way over priced. 10.00 for 2 Jalapeños split and wrapped in bacon seems very high. They are very good though. I had the piled high Ruben and it is probably the best Ruben Ive ever had. Chips and salsa are so so. My buddy had the steak wrap and he said it was amazing. Great service. Friendly atmosphere. I will eat here again before I leave town.
Drinks are alright. Service it’s weird. Don’t come late. It’s not my fault y’all work somewhere till a certain hour. We came in 35min before close (they are the only place open for food last 10 that’s not bad) we knew what we wanted within 5min and ordered and everyone we talked to looked at their watch like wth you doing here not friendly. If you have a problem with taking orders before close go find another job. It’s not anyone’s fault your working the hours the business establishes. The waiter was nice but the bartenders where the main annoyance. Bartender entitlement to its finest. Hope this helps bar is cool don’t come late tho lol
Just wanted to say Gracies is exceptional in every way. I look forward to Bingo nights every Wednesday and the live music. The bartenders are still nice even though I order a sprite and dont drink and I dont get weird looks like I do at other bars for not ordering alcohic drinks. I love this place and I always feel safe there
Monday live music and great people. Try their nachos and garlic burger.Today I had a Buffalo Burger. The sandwich was big, you wont walkout hungry. The sandwich isnt bad at all just I like it more simple so I can taste the burger more, that is a personal preference. They have a local beer (Utah) if you arent from Salt Lake City.
Great little sports bar in downtown SLC. Food was great, my Reuben was perfect and loved the fries and fry sauce. We also ordered an apple chicken salad which was also very good. Good selection of craft beer, and the bloody mary was great! Lots of TVs for NFL wildcard weekend. Awesome patio but it was too cold to be out there today. Patron next to us reported that the coconut shrimp and burger with sweet potato fries was very good. Our wait staff Bambi provided great service.
Everything was great, parking, service, food and the atmosphere, there was a band there while we were there and it was a little loud so we sat to the back so I could hear my wife better. We had a great experience and will definitely return.
Its an awesome bar, lots of people, amazing live music. However if you are a woman be very weary of men who will try to drug your drink here. Dont take your eyes off youre drink here not even for a milla second.
(This is coming from a buzzed visitor [to take into consideration])Ngl. Came to Utah for first time, great people. Great vibes, outgoing crowd.Drinks downstairs, honestly could do some better work. Ordered a few ole fashions and a few beers for the group: Ole fashions had too much butters and orange overpowered whiskey. Beers honestly were a bit flat, but maybe just from the Stella. For the other person, the ipas were great. The food on the other hand… unless you’re drunk looking for a quick meal, it ain’t worth it.Flavoring for the wings were great, but meat tasted rough… like frozen before, defrosted 15 minutes before serving, then cooked afterwards.Nachos; stale af, meat literally tasted like taco bells beef, everything else was fine.Overall, great place to end the night if drunk/hammered… during the day, not my cup of tea…
Nate is a tremendous bartender apparently hes been here for a decade and I can see why greatly exceeded our expectations with respect to service.Would also like to mention Grant bar back extraordinaire and Andi the hardest working waitress I have seen in years.Large beer and alcohol selection which Nate helped us navigate fantastic time will definitely stop in next time in salt lake City
I wasnt a huge fan of the live music, but I absolutely enjoyed the food and the service was excellent! I didnt let the live music distract from the enjoyment of everything else.
Good live music. This white, Neanderthal security guard followed me and surveilled me the whole night for talking to people. Males in Utah dont accept females who go outside of their cliche. He prob with the basics....
If I could give zero stars I would. Staff was rude and treated us horrible. Went to popular pub instead, spent a lot of money, we were treated kindly, had a good time elsewhere.
Food was just okay flavour wise so not great value for money. The patio is lovely and I suspect it gets lively when theres live music.
Great place to have a beer and a bite. The beer menu was extensive (both draft and canned). The food menu was such that anyone should be satisfied with the selections.I ordered a Ruben but was disappointed in that the amount of meat was rather paultry and the sandwich came without sauerkraut!I will say, however, that the server was understanding and adjusted my tab for the shortcoming.Would recommend.
This place is so cool. Plenty of wriggle room and lots of outdoor seating. Great music playing just loud enough to enjoy but not to overpower the conversation. The brussels were delicious, steak and potatoes fantastic, and the beer selection is plenty! We were glad to find this place in such a nice part of town.
Good place to watch a game. (Upstairs) patrons were nice to the traveler... me... service was good food was good ... drinks were very slc.. not the fault of the establishment.. I will go back.
Gracie’s was a fun place. Food was decent. Would recommend the chimichurri steak sandwich, but be prepared because this place is pricey. Way overpriced for what you get.
Nice patio and atmosphere, good beer options, food was meh. Shepherds pie is nothing like Shepherds pie. Reuben meat was fatty. Great place for a drink...
I had the jackfruit tacos, spring rolls, and brussel sprouts and it was so good! My friend had the soup which looked delicious. They have tons of great vegetarian and vegan options!!Service was awesome! My only hiccup is that they started playing live music halfway through dinner and our table was really close, so my friend and I had a hard time hearing each other. I would have preferred to sit away from the music, so next time now I know.
The service is excellent. The atmosphere is too club-like/college party atmosphere on Friday and Saturday nights, which can be excellent in a larger space than what they offer in winter at least. Regardless, a great place for food and drinks.
Burgers, Beer & a Band, how could you go wrong! The thing I liked about this place is the options. They had a lot of great food options and local beers for us to try. Im just sad we werent here long enough to try everything on the menu. Oh well, it will give us a reason to come back to Salt Lake City!
Went here for a work dinner with seven guys on a Wednesday night, fairly busy. The ‘open seating’ arrangement was odd to me for such a larger restaurant, but we were able to find a bar area to all sit together. Service was good but not great, food was good for bar food but nothing extraordinary. I had the Reuben and fries, I’d give the sandwich a 7/10, the fries were better.... good thick cut steak fries. Some of my colleagues had steaks that were well presented and they said were very good.
Band was having feedback issues, but the food was pretty good and we didnt have to wait too long. There were at least half a dozen different things that looked appealing to me. We would recommend the wagyu beef burger, the Mac and cheese with shrimp and crab and the Reuben sandwich.
Unfortunately I didnt have any food, but I did try a couple of drinks in the menu and they were delish. Had the baked apple pie which is a hot toddy and it got just the right spot on a cold night. The perfect blend of sweet and cinnamon; honestly couldnt taste the alcohol though. I would definitely come back for another.
One of our favorite spots. Amazing food for a bar and music most nights. I can’t say enough of the quality of food and choices that are healthy. I enjoy the atmosphere.
This is a great place! Its kinda in-between a club and bar atmosphere, with a dance floor but some quieter corners as well. Very cool!!
So this place was a total vibe ..music was cool dining outside option was great but full so we walked near the upstairs bar inside.First the positive ..our host was great! Cant recall the name but she had purple stripes in her hair and pigtails on top. Anyway a couple of hiccups but she got my custom order right and she was SUPER personal we loved her!!Now..prior to dinner there was a slight wait and we walked up to the bar (upstairs in the more enclosed area) the girl w the glasses and curly hair acknowledged us but then finished whatever she was doing ..then took an order front he waitress ..about 6 min into standing there Im like ok were next. She then took a drink.. then went back to the patrons at the bar as if wed not been waiting. Almost seemed to be avoiding us..was weird. Finally after so long the other barhost asked to help us and took our order and gratefully made slamming drinks!!I would have liked to give a 5 but that one host at the bar Im hoping she was just having a difficult day or moment but she clearly wasnt in the mood to serve us for some reason.
It was very loud on a Sunday maybe not the best choice if you had a late night prior . The food was good I had eggs Benedict and a bacon bloody Mary. I would easily recommend either. One of my eggs was poached perfectly, the other was almost hard boiled. Still very tasty and large portions.
We waited 30 minutes after being told at the bar to find a seat. No one ever came. We finally walked out, and no one even noticed. I cant rate on anything much because it was as if we were invisible.
So one my kids went for a good time at this establishment. But they were treated as if they had to much alcohol. They had nothing to drink. If they would called me I would torn they place apart.
Brunch at Gracie’s is always a treat! I normally order the creme brûlée French toast, but this time I went with the sausage nachos!! The nachos are always amazing, and I love love love Gracie’s salsa. The nachos are gigantic, and can easily be shared. They also have a patio with warmers, many food and drink options, live bands, and friendly staff, with plenty of room for you and your crew! Frequenting this upbeat, locally-owned gastropub is a no-brainer!
Wife’s Wagu burger was good . Mine was pathetic for a 17.00 burger 🍔. A regular mc Donald’ssize patty tasted frozen then over cooked shoe leather .Fries and drinks & Service ok 👍
This place was a nice find, and could be really cool with some improvements. They have a full bar, food, and games. Unfortunately, the food wasnt that great. We got some tacos and they were super soggy, and a wrap that would have been good, but the aioli on it made it taste like a month full of egg. There is a room by the entrance with a pool table, a shuffle board, and board games. Their website says darts, but we didnt see any. They may have been upstairs, but we didnt go up there because they were having a Geeks Who Drink. The pool table takes coins (they have a bill breaker) and unfortunately was very beat up. We actually had to share a cue and it was broken, but we still had fun. They have lots of TVs throughout, and the bathrooms were fine. There is a vending machine in the room with the pool table.
Nice music atmosphere. Our bartender, Mike, was awesome, always checked if we needed another drink or order more food. Cozy place to hang out with your significant other.
Kudos to the upstairs bartender!!! The appetizers are excellent 👌 I ordered wings, Brussels sprouts, spinach dip, caprese, and coconut shrimp. Absolutely every dish is delicious!! Parking is close and convenient. Just dont forget to pay the meter and place the ticket on your dashboard before going inside.
Great Bar/ Restaurant. So many different type of Drafts that are really good. Bartender are the best
Food was great, drink menu is unique, environment is welcoming and colorful. Unfortunately the live acoustic music was too loud to have a friendly conversation. Didnt realize it was scheduled until after I got my meal. Not entirely Gracies fault, just something to be aware of.Waitress was not in a good mood. Told my wife she didnt know if they had chocolate martinis, didnt offer to check just left it at that. Started offering to go boxes and cleaning the table well before we had even decided to be done with our stay (a bit lengthy, right around 2 hours) - place was not super busy at the time and no where near closing, plenty of open tables around. All said. Gracies is generally good, think I just caught an off day. Knocked 1 star for the experience, but still had a good time.
Would give it a higher score except for the service. It was awful and exceptionally slow. The food was good once it got to the table, but not hot. There were 4 of us, then 2 others joined when we were into our meal. My butternut squash soup was delicious but not real hot, same with the Portobello mushroom steak. The flavor was wonderful. One of the ladies in our group asked for a different salad dressing as the one served was too spicy for her. She asked 4 times and waited for nearly 30 minutes just for salad dressing. The brussel sprouts appetizer ordered at the beginning of the meal after asking 3 times where they were, showed up when we were done with our entrees. They were cold and raw. The two that joined later ordered the same Portobello sandwich at the same time. After we had gotten our food. The waitress made a lame excuse about counting 3 orders, ours and hers. What?? We were already getting our food shortly after the two others joined. There was no correlation between the timing. She plain forgot and it took another 40 minutes for that one person to get her food. She was just starting her meal when we were done. The music was great.
Our server seemed annoyed that a person in our party ordered a (watered down) Diet Coke (they were the designated driver) and wasnt super warm or friendly. But, hey, it was a snowy day, and the server wasnt an overt jerk. Everyone else had a good time.
Came in for lunch and split the Plain Jane and an order of wings. Both were excellent. Highly recommend the ancho barbecue sauce: excellent flavor and not sweet at all. Food arrived quickly and there’s a good drink selection. Can’t go wrong with that combo!
Great staff delicious food. Definitely will be back when visiting Utah. Must try mac and cheese, and coconut shrimp!!
This is one of the very good places for outings in a group in downtown area. This is a bar which also has a decent food option. Service and staff is great. Though food options are limited, they have good small plates and main course items. We usually reserve the ball room ahead of time which gives privacy to the group. Great place in summer as they have outdoor tables on both first and second floor for parties wanting to sit outdoors. They have heaters in the outdoor space if it gets cold when sitting outside.
Great service by Kelly. The food was good as well. The heated outdoor seating is nice on a cold evening.
Excellent food and comfortable, enjoyable atmosphere!! The staff is top notch and took great care of our group!
The atmosphere is wonderful and food is really good.We started with the Caprese Flatbread. This take on Caprese is creative and fantastic. If you like Caprese this is a must.Gracies Mac & Cheese is outstanding! Crab or bay shrimp in almost every bite, this was a delight to eat Dynamite Shrimp was very flavorful. The mango-pineapple sauce paired wonderfully with the shrimp and dynamo sauce. My only complaint was that there just wasnt enough shrimp, though I didnt leave hungry.
From out of town. Here from east coast for a wedding. Showed up for Sunday Football. Loved it. Atmosphere was perfect for watching games. Server made a good suggestion and we got half and half of the two types of wings they offer. Couldn’t pick a favorite. Very good! Drinks were good as well had bloody Mary’s and beer. Would 100% recommend for a Sunday even if not a local.
Fun place to have drinks. The green chile cheese curd fries were amazing.
Brunch with 5 other couples Saturday morning. All of us enjoyed the food. The egg sandwich had a delicious spread on it. The service was very attentive. Loved the basic bloody Mary, it had a little bit of spice to it.
Live music, great patio, fun vibe. They also had a DJ start at 10:00 with a pretty good set.
My boyfriend and I have been coming here for over a year, and we love it. Love that atmosphere, just wish it wasnt so loud sometimes. The food is amazing, and the drinks are always good. They even have live music a lot of the time, or trivia.
Its a bar with local craft beers, cocktails, live music most nights, karaoke, and good food. Whats not to like? Also, the mango habanero mezcal margarita is delicious.
Fun place, live music, great ambiance. Our group enjoyed the outdoor setting. Good drinks. You will be carded to get in. I ordered the Gracie’s Mac and Cheese for dinner per the server’s suggestion. I’m sure it’s been good before but mine serving was extremely bland. I had to keep putting salt and pepper to have any flavor. Otherwise it was like Mac and unflavored unsalted gravy. I know my friends love this place. I might need to give it another try but the first go was a no go on the food aspect.
Luv this place. Always hopping, friendly & responsive staff, good food & drinks.
It was really good! There is a lot of gassy pigeons in the summertime tho, but well worth visiting
Great place for a drink that actually has really good food and sometimes live music.
The facility were clean and they had great wifi coverage. The staff were very professional and courteous.
Nice spot. Good food and good drinks. 20s themed bar with a casual vibe.
A bunch of us went there to celebrate passing our exams. We had a variety of meals between all of us, and there wasnt one dissatisfied customer!! Everyones meal was delicious and was served in a very timely fashion. The service was fantastic!! Even the staff that wasnt serving our table came over to hang with us, and it was just a great atmosphere!! Will definitely be going back there again and again!! Thank you for the wonderful experience!!
For and service was great! Only thing is that it was noisy, even in the roof top, where it was difficult to carry on a conversation with a large group.
Great place with an amazing vibe! Music was great, the food was incredible, only downside was our bartender was in the worst mood ever. Grumpy and brought the mood down a whole lot! Our other server was great, so that made up for it.
Great food and entertainment. Love the cozy atmosphere. The live band is within 20 feet of you. Definitely going back!
Last night was my first and last time at Gracie’s. The bar tender Matt (who was tipped over $50 from us in less than hour) was anything but kind. He couldn’t help but verbally rude and let us know he wasn’t enjoying making only 5 drinks. The female “manager” was racist and one of the male blonde security guards was also. The way my black male (sober) friend was treated was disgusting. When someone tried to ask for a manger due to the disgusting treatment he was receiving for simply being black, one of the members in my party of 5 were kicked out. This establishment should be ashamed of its employees who worked last night 11/25 at 10:00 pm.I will never be going back and wish I could take back all the tips and $400 in drinks we spent.
I had their ribs and they were delicious! Oven roasted Brussels sprouts were served with it and they were also great. They have the best corn bread Ive had in quite a while! Great atmosphere as well.
Decent service. Awful food. Had easily the worst New York strip steak I’ve ever tasted here. Extremely chewy, virtually inedible. I came here with a group for an event as I was visiting from Nevada. I didn’t know you had to pay for parking in their parking lot and was fined $60 exactly 1 min prior to making it back to my car. Not okay.
My deaf friends and I went to watch the Green Bay Packers game this Sunday, and the front ID checker guy was amazing and helped us with the manager to get Closed Captions on the TV. The TV was having trouble, but they continued to try and accommodate us. Our waitress knew some signs as well and was very helpful... Also the beer selection is amazing and the food is yo die for!
The staff were all very friendly, the bartender makes a killer virgin mojito, and the garlic burger was so good I almost cried. Also the outdoor seating is heated and the live music was pretty good!I’d definitely eat here again.
I loved this place, nice people, so clean, staff friendly, the food is really good, I was surprised because, I saw a lot American people and I’m latino still learning English and I felt very welcome, 100% recommended.
Had steak and mashed potatoes with veggies. Super mid. Wouldnt get tht again. Bland. Mashed potatoes werent smooth at all. It was like someone overmashed them. Super dry! This dish was too expensive for it to be mid. Also My husband got Nachos. That was a bit better but I didnt like the chopped chicken it came with. Tasted old. Was dry and lacking flavor.
Just know the parking is NOT FREE in the lot next to Gracies. No Signs, No Stalls No #s. Very Deceptive. I will never go there again until they buy the parking lot and offer free parking. Gracies should be posting a sign saying YOU MUST PAY TO PARK.
Great atmospere! The service is star quality! The drinks are devine. I had the blackberry basil. Was very refreshing. For my entree I had the crown ribs. Talk about falling off the bone. I havent had cornbread that good out in a years. Reminded me of Burbanks BBQs cornbread in Sharonvile, OH. The brussel sprouts did not impress me though. I loce roasted brussel sprouts but these were sort of chewy. For dessert I had the chocolate lava cake which was delicious. Definitely recommend this place.
All around the place is amazing! They have a delicious blackberry basil drink, and offer a wide variety of food. If youre a vegetarian or vegan, theres options for you! I will say that some dishes are quite small but all in all I will definitely be going back.
Somewhat decent service. I say that because my boyfriend asked for a particular cognac( Hennessy) and they didnt have it. Instead of offering a different, even more expensive cognac (that was in a case on the wall), he offers something else and my boyfriend settled for that.It wasnt until we looked up at the wall and there was a bottle of Louis the 13th cognac....and that wasnt offered. The food was ok. I had the Shepherds Pie and he had wings.
Went here for an after party following a symposium event at the U. Great bar scene with a fun atmosphere. It felt like they were a little overwhelmed but that was understandable considering the sudden mass of people. Slightly long, but understandable wait times for food. Drinks came pretty quick once ordered.
Always a good experience! The food is incredible, the atmosphere is chill. Good brews, good drinks. Often there’s live music, can be a great place to start the evening before exploring the city more! Or a great lunch spot!
Steak was overcooked & relatively tasteless. Pork shank was almost overcooked so while not dry, it certainly wasnt moist. Great vegetable sides, but everything was served somewhere between cool to lukewarm. Roasted brussel sprouts were limp on the leaves & chewy at the core with too much of an overpowering sauce. Truly one of the most disappointing meals Ive had in recent memory.
Overall Great food, people, environment and service. Tons of vegan options!
The food is great, the atmosphere is comfortable, plenty of seating both inside and out, the staff is friendly, the bar is well stocked and the selection of food is just diverse enough to be appreciated but not by any means overwhelming! Love this place, highly recommended!
Fien stop. Came in during a night of some bar hopping to get a feel for Salt Lakes nightlife. Seems like a pretty busy spot for sure. Younger crowd, too. Just had a drink and some fries. No complaints there. Id say if you like that louder, busier energy from a bar versus a club, give this one a try.
I enjoyed dinner in the patio, the atmosphere was amazing and the service outstanding.
Been here twice and the food was pretty terrible both times. On the chicken cobb salad they skimped out hard with the tiniest piece of chicken, a sliver of avocado, and about 3 grape tomatoes. Mixed drink also felt watered down. Definitely wont be back.
Dropped in for a casual drink and brunch with friends. The outdoor space(a) was great, and they had a live performer going, but the food (sandwiches/burgers) weren’t great. The buffalo chicken wrap in particular was horrible. Worst one I’ve ever had. The wrap was drenched in liquid, and probably emptied a good 6oz of liquid onto my plate/self. Was super acidic/vinegary. Another friend really disliked his hamburger also, but their breakfast dishes were getting positive reviews.
Love to come watch The Alleycats perform here. Food is always stellar and so is the service. Bravo. 👏
Great bar and restaurant very clean and the food was great 👍
Needed a late evening place to eat on a recent business trip to SLC. Gracies was open and we were seated quickly. We enjoyed our nachos, wings, jalapeno poppers and pretzel bites... no complaints. The companion thought her cocktail hit the spot and I loved my pour of Old Fitzgerald 17 year BIB, until I realized the waiter told me the wrong price (Oh well, but it was a significant price hike). There was a football game on so it was a bit noisy, but no big deal.Good prices, good food, good location.
I wasn’t going to leave a review, but after telling and showing my waiter that my wing had feathers on it, he acknowledged me laughed and told me tough luck. It’s a health risk to not check the food. Usually I love the wings. Now I’m grossed out. Not sure if I’ll order food here again, and the treatment from the waiter…
The people working were kind and prompt. The food is exceptional.
Unlike cheers to you, the bartenders treat you with basic human respect expected when you exchanged money for services.
Good place to go enjoy a drink and a meal, sometimes with decent live music.
Came in for lunch. Grabbed some wings and Brussels. So delicious! Enjoyed them on the patio while soaking up some sun.Great little place. Looks as if they have music sometimes as well. There was a stage on their patio and another space inside for a stage.
Im not really into the bar scene, but its fun every once in a while. I always have a great time when I go to Gracies. They are clean, have a large outdoor space with lots of tables, and their service is fast. The dance floor is a fun time, and their DJ has a good mix of music. Highly recommend Gracies if you like to dance!
Who charges for ketchup and fry sauce? Don’t do that. That’s weird, y’all.
Bacon burger wasn’t good, steak wrap was dry, wings weren’t great. Margarita was extremely salty. Didn’t see our waitress at all after getting our food until we got our check while drinks sat empty.
Awesome rooftop bar and food , great music as well , service was a little slow because they were busy , my food and drinks were awesome though, lowest tequila prices I have seen for high end tequila, beer prices were reasonable too, 5 stars for best rooftop and music spot in area and awesome drink prices !
Downtown relaxed atmosphere great band and DJ, lots of dancing. Pub grub is decent.
Gracie’s in Salt Lake City left me with an underwhelming dining experience. The staffs efforts, unfortunately, fell short of expectations, as they seemed disinterested and lacked the attentiveness one would hope for in a restaurant setting. Moreover, the menu at Gracie’s was disappointingly bland, offering dishes that lacked creativity and flavor. It felt like a missed opportunity to showcase unique culinary experiences. The lack of excitement in the menu left me wanting more in terms of taste and innovation. In summary, Gracie’s was a letdown due to its lackluster staff and uninspiring menu. Its a place that might leave diners searching for a more memorable and engaging dining experience.
Went with my good friend for the weekend, and we went on a Friday and Saturday night. I will say it did not disappoint. If your looking for a good place to chill and enjoy yourself with music and drinks definitely a must stop. I came from Florida, while my friend flew in from Vegas and we both agreed this place definitely has a good vibe compared to other places in our respected areas. Just a few people that we can shout-out are: Matt, Aurtoro, and Flynn were good people. The rest of the staff were also cool as well I just didnt get their names! Music was good classics and up to date songs with good variety of contemporary genres.Yes it was packed on Saturday, but it definitely wasnt chaotic, especially for having crowds from two big college games in Utah that day. Plus with the space upstairs and balcony seating, you can definitely get away from the noise and enjoy your time.Until next time!
Had live music playing that was great ! grilled cheese was really good and good fries
Great place to hang with friends. Large outdoor area that has live music in the summer. 2nd floor has another bar with tables to eat at. Also has a 2nd floor balcony to hang out or get some fresh air.
I ate here and at Squatters right next door...a burger and two beers was $46 at both locations. The food is better at Squatters but the atmosphere and live music make this a much more enjoyable location to hang out.
Over priced mixed drinks and rude waitress. I told her I may have to tell the manager about her rudeness and she said go ahead. I didnt. Im assuming she was just having a bad evening. The live music was real nice and the ambience was good. Good location too.
Atmosphere and service is great. Flew into SLC for a conference on Super Bowl Sunday great place!!
Had a great time at Gracies, the live band was amazing!
