Ive been to many shops. This one is by far my favorite. The manager may not know my name but she know who I am when I come and I appreciate that. The rest of the girls Ive worked with when Ive gone in are just as great. Its nice to see some consistency in staff. The girl with green hair is so fun and so helpful! The employees are great but its under new ownership... I didnt appreciate being sold used products and then told I wouldnt be getting a refund even after confirming there were several of the other product also damaged and already used. Still wasnt allowed a refund, instead was forced to use it as in store credit towards an item we hate and regret being forced to buy something....

Have been going there for months to reup on my juices, buy pieces, etc. Wont be back even though the people are great.Today I went back to buy a replacement kit for my ecig that had broken. I saw the prices on their mods seemed high, so I asked about whether there was a price increase recently. I was told that they increased the prices on certain kits that werent selling well to offset the pricing on all of the new models they would be getting soon. I was also told the price increase was because they were a shop that even if they didnt have the color you wanted, they could special order it for you.These 2 reasons were given for a 50$ increase on an 85$ model.(That increase doesnt include a battery and nothing about needing a battery is ever mentioned even though youre buying a replacement kit and the newer models use different batteries. They dont just work when plugged in.)Who cares about special ordering a color you want if all models were increased for this reason..? When I called later I was told they offer 10% discounts on batteries if youre buying a kit.So.. 135$ kit saves you 1.70$ on a 17$ battery...Go up the street, still near 6200, to the shop in Walmarts parking lot. Same exact models, MUUUUCCCCHHH cheaper.Same kit I paid 135$ for was selling for 85$. Same everything. The cheaper shop had more colors though. (They even gave me the 10% discount on the battery just for laughs when I told them this story)

Alternatives is simple THE BEST shop for everything you need.... The staff are really knowledgeable on ALL products, clues you in to up coming sales, and are really genuine people.... I have met the owner and he works the counter, gets to know the people coming in. Also, a very genuine man that went to bat for our rights to continue our enjoyment of his products. I came in to buy pods and juice for my vaporesso xros. The gal behind the counter told me that mine were for salts. I told her I have an allergy and that I only vape 50/50 mix because Ive tried salts and they hurt me. She didnt seem to hear me, but kept pushing that it would be better for my health. Ive been vaping since 2010 and not only know what is good for me, but works as well. I did purchase a pack of coils and some 70/30 vape juice, but Ill be surprised if I can vape the 70/30 because of my sensitivities. My vaporesso is one of the top mods out for mtl vaping as well. I use 1 ohm and 1.2 ohm cartridges. Please listen to what your customer is telling you because I wont be back after this.

I have been looking for pain management options for some time. CBD oil has helped me a lot and my research led me to Alternatives! I walked in with eyes wide shut. The staff treated me like I was a valued customer and educated me on what I needed to know without the judgment. What I felt was a friend was explaining to me with respect and genuine care what I needed to know to help me make the best choice!They offer a lot more than just CBD Oils (full spectrum, true organic). Vape juces, CBD Oils, Vape Mods (Beginner and advanced), Vape pens, herbal supplements.Here is the thing, I went in expecting CBD information but was given more advice into other options such as Kratom, to eliminate the need for opiates. Beyond just vaping this place offers solutions and value to its customers looking for benefits!Other things to point out is this store is clean, It does not smell of strong Oders and it is easy on the eye when you enter. Like a lot of vape shops I was able to read and find what I was looking for, I did not feel overwhelmed, but when I was lost my questions was met by educated answers.If you have not been, go check this place out. If your new/un-educated/ or unsure then you need to go in and let these guys help you out!

I love everything about this store. The wide selection, the friendly and helpful staff, the comfy couches, the comfortable aesthetic, the quality of products, I could literally go all day. If I had to pick my favorite thing about this store though, itd be the staff. I almost never know what I want when I come in. I love to change flavors regularly but I almost never know to what. When I come in though the staff always remembers the kinds of flavors I like and dont like and are always ready to grab me at least 3 flavors matching my own palette! Great place!

Update I have been going back here for a long time they have good deals again and the other place I spoke about below is good too but alternatives is the best.Well we used to have great things to say about this place and was our go to for a long while. Well that ends now. Error after error on wrong juices and nicotine amounts. Juice selection has narrowed yet their prices keep getting higher. I went to a competitor on 62 by bangerter and got everything about 10% less. Wow, this is probably the most professional and well-stocked “Alternative Health” store I’ve ever seen… Staff is great and very helpful… and don’t fret about “natural resources”… We got Penicillin from bread mold, Aspirin came from the inside bark of willow trees…. I can highly recommend this store, because they really care about their customers, who, like me, have suffered Crohn’s Disease for 50 YEARS….

The owners are really respectful and know how to treat their customers. I wrote this 4 years ago and a lot has changed. Showed up on black Friday for discounted sales and store manager was 20 mins late and not giving me and discount that there text promised. Was not worth my time or money. Rather go somewhere else more official. They kept throwing random prices and changing the price when it came to ring out time.

This is one of my favorite places to go to fulfill all my vaping needs. They have an awesome juice selection and amazing prices. On more than one occasion Sonny and Ali have provided the most outstanding customer service I have ever seen. They have shown that they care more about their customers more than even the all might dollar. So sad with the experience here, Ive been to this shop many times and its usually great, but the skinny dark haired girl that now works here is extremely rude. She doesnt know much about vape maintenance and when you ask for help she says theres nothing she can do, she guessed on a size of seals for my vape that clearly wouldnt fit at all and when I offered to take apart the vape while she helped other customers she blew me off. She made it very obvious that she wasnt interested in being helpful, and made me extremely uncomfortable. All the other staff here have been great, so Ill miss coming here, but I cant spend money in a place that doesnt advocate for better customer service (or at the very least makes sure their employees arent rude)

Im not one to write bad reviews but just yesterday bought a pax3 for 400. Which is whatever but went home opened up device. Went online to see tutorials on device and saw that pax’s own website has the same model listed for literally half the price. I didn’t use device in hopes of maybe getting a return or even some credit back but I guess they don’t price match their own suppliers prices. I usually go here for devices and prices are always reasonable and i do love this place and I’m not scared of spending money but I mean cmon the mark up is crazy. Definitely do your research before buying expensive devices.

I took my new vape in to this store that I bought 2 weeks ago from this store and the owner said that I’d have to send it into the manufacture to see if they could fix it. I’m like ok. Then I ended up buying another vape from there store today.The owner Ali I’m not sure how to pronounce his name. Was awesome he gave me 30 percent off another vape that I bought from them. Different style. I told him the issues I was having with with last vape. He recommended a few. Very knowledgeable bout everything! He even set the thing up for me that same day. The other people that work for him r also awesome and knowledgeable bout all of the products they have in the store. I’m hooked!😀 awesome customer service!

I go here as often as possible because of their rewards program, and because Hyllari is AMAZING at helping you find anything that is just right for your specific needs. They have one of the biggest juice selections in the Salt Lake Valley and Hyllari makes sure you leave with the perfect juice everytime!! They do awesome sales all the time!! Atmosphere is nice, what can I say its a smoke shop, more modern with retro style decorations, besides that they do mark-ups on there merchandise which is why I dont go here.

By far the friendliest place Ive been to out of most of the Wasatch front. I could be wrong from others opinion of their preferred vape shop. Id have to say they are friendly as all heck helping you find what you need without the feeling of being judged or just rushed out of the store. They just added some new lighting and the store is super clean without the extra stuff. Sweet simple and too the point. I also need to say the Matthew has been my go to guy over there. Helpful in every regard and I dont think Ive met anyone that would help me out, answer my questions and have as much patience as that dude. Legit place for all the things vape and smoke. 100% the best customer services ive ever had, been going to this place for a while and loved how ive been treated every time i go in. Not only is everyone that works there really cool and easy to talk with, but they were willing to go the extra mile to help me out when my mod that was having issues taken care of. Ali is one of the most dishonest business men I have ever met!. He constantly gives away product to some customers, give other customers deals and hookups and lies about getting vape juice orders and pipes in. They go through so many employees here because he is twoface to his uncle who actually owns the place!. Their employees never last and half of them smoke. Ali sells to little kids, my little brother came in with his friends and hes only 11 years old!!. . I cannot even bring my son in here anymore. This used to be a family friendly shop one of the few left in the community. I will never shop here again and I will tell my whole family and all of my friends to never come buy from this store again. We support family shops but him selling to my little brother has gone too far!. The owner sunny is a pretty decent guy my son and wife love him. But knowing what I know now. I cant support this shop. We have families to protect.

I usually love this store but I’m highly annoyed that no one is here right now when it says the place is open. Tried calling, no answer. I’m vapeless and need a new setup and was hoping to make it a quick in and out thing but now I’m going to have to decide between going way out of my way to another shop or waiting who knows how long for an employee to show up. Not impressed.

Was my first time going in yesterday , all I can say is this is by far the best smoke shop. The guy was so nice to me and willing to help me and this other guy at the same time. I was in amd out in less than 5 minutes ! Great customer service ! Plus their point system sounds great although I didnt have time to sign up when I was in there but I am definetly going to do it next time and also the price of my vape juice was 10$ cheaper then the other smoke shop I usually go to . Which was also nice. Same brand same ML same flavor for 10$ less ? Why not ? ☺ Way better pricing !

So Ive been coming here for a awhile now and have spent probably over 2 grand on juice and atomizers and have always been very happy with the employees especially the taller younger guy. He realizes who the weekly customers are and he takes care of them which is how you keep returning satisfied customers and get new ones by word of mouth. Well there is girl that also works there and has seen me in multiple times also but she referred me to a flavor that was supposed to be similiar to my basically everyday flavor and even said it was sweeter which I told her I have to have in order to get taste out of it or else I waste $25. Well I took her advice and bought it and come to find out it wasnt even CLOSE to as sweet nor the same flavor AT ALL and she refused to trade the juice out for me or help me in anyway. So if you happen to go there and a girl is working just walk out and go to Draper Vapor or Peak Vapor because she will throw away your money for you. If the guy is working go for it because he will actually make things right for you somehow... I know this because he has done it for me in the past.
