This property is very clean and accomadating to all your needs. Good sized room with updated furnishings. Staff is helpful in any questions or directions of area. Cleaning staff is pleasant, thorough and respectful. Everyone has wonderful spirits which makes you feel comfortable and safe.

Loved it. Very peaceful. Cozy. And highly cheap. Beds are nice and comfortable customer service is amazing. Needed to get a hotel quick and they had availability and they were very welcoming. Had a great stay

They are on you tough about checkout time. They will call you and knock on your door ahead of time. The rooms are clean a/c works real good. The rooms are always cheaper online. The guy wanted me to pay 61 in person instead of 52.79 (ish) total online.

This hotel was very clean and super friendly the whole time that I stayed here for 2 weeks! The couple that own it are super friendly and very good people ! I will definitely be coming back here when I need a hotel in san antonio !!!!

Checked in just to find out the lights didnt work in the room, it was nasty and they had no internet. Youre better off stopping at Walmart and getting a tent for the night.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel, and I must say it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making me feel right at home from the moment I walked through the door.The room itself was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, with all the amenities I could ask for. The comfortable pillow top bed ensured a great nights sleep.One of the standout features of this hotel is its location in the medical district. The hotel is next to the hospital with easy access to the highway.

Never stayed dont want to now. I called to book a room. Told the man multiple times its for 2 adults one child. He couldnt understand me I dont know why he answers the phone if he doesnt understand english.

Stay one night here.First room was not up to par. Strong pet Ur and smell set. A requested to be moved to another room.The owner upgraded me 2 a premium room..This room was much better and satisfactory.Although I was surprised with their customer service..The owners cap to the office locked. And you had to do business thru and outside window only.I found the office was always locked. After no witnessing the owner put on rubber gloves and front of me before taking my ID and credit card behind the bank teller style window it makes you feel very separated.No coffee available in the room or the office the following morning did not help either.I feel the business side could be handled better to be more welcoming and make your customers feel comfortable.

Truly does go above and beyond. I needed to change rooms and he was so quick and generous to get me another room. Very kind people. The room was awesome… and if you’re lucky they ungraded your room free of charge this happened on our first stay. When we arrived we received a very very nice room with a jacuzzi, we were notified we had been upgraded as we were checking in.

I stay here when I come in from Austin, to visit friends and family. My stay is always comfortable. The owner is very kind, and I feel safe here. The rooms are clean, and inexpensive! I am always pleased when I stay here.

02/05/2021-- had to update my review if I am being real about my rating. We play poker in the area & love this location. First visit was great, this one not so much. The room we got this time was waaay below even the lowest standard! Room was dirty and had lots of damage. Even tho I bring my own towels, these towels were gross. Cigarette burns on the sheets. This room shows they really dont care. The comment below was from our first visit.Great place with great customer service!We frequent hotels & I must say for the price the room was great! I am glad we gave Oyo a chance! Room was exceptionally clean! Room didnt smell like smoke! Front desk was great! We did bring our own towels. Walls are thick, so no noise from next door. King size bed was comfy! No cigarette burns in blankets. AC worked great! Good location! I would recommend for those on a budget and look for a cozy safe place to stay! Good job housekeeping, keep up the good work!!

Probably the worst place I stayed in during my visit in San Antonio due to my father’s surgery.- the rooms are extremely basic- the carpet was sticky- there was a fight between ex-lovers right outside my door. It was the neighbors. One was asking the other to give him his car back while the woman said it was her car that her son had bought her. Take it to Divorce Court / Judge Judy!- most of the complex was empty. Granted my stay was on a Tuesday, so I can see why that would be so.Overall, I wouldn’t stay here again. The value of what you pay for isn’t proportional to what you get COMPARED to other places to stay in the area at the same budget.Further, I’d suggest management put actual physical door slider bolts for safety. The door stopper that I had was a hinge design and it was flimsy. Certainly the argument outside my door didn’t help me feel any safer with a flimsy security door lock.

Not the best or prettiest location but it was super quiet and the staff well the gentleman who helped me when I arrived was great! Super nice and friendly! I would definitely stay again

Ive stayed at this hotel several times now and I have to say the following:1. Atmosphere: very good, Ive stayed at other hotels and its very sketchy at night.This is not the case here.2. The hotel room itself is clean , they have upgraded their furniture , the photos you see are old.3. Great customer service: the people at the front desk are nice and always ready to help.4. Location: right in front of 410 and i10 it has a lit of restaurants and stores near by.Overall this is a nice small hotel with good prices. I will definitely continue to stay here , if there is only one recommendation is to upgrade the vending machine to accept cards .

The sheets were clean, bed comfortable, location was close to the airport. Room was cool, air conditioning worked great, there are lots of places to eat nearby.Though beware, I wanted to place a delivery order directly with the marcos pizza at 5440 babcock rd, san antonio, tx 78240As I had had a coupon for an order of cheezy bread from an earlier order Id gotten through grubhub. They wouldnt deliver to my hotel room, not even 3 miles away.Needless to say I didnt get my cheezy bread.

I called looking for a room for the night for a family member. I was quoted 79.00. I explained I would have to pass that price along and the man I spoke to then told me that if I didnt take the deal at that exact moment, if I called back the room rate was going to be 129.00. Seriously? At least tell me I can hold that price for you for 30 minutes while you check to see if the price works or lie to me and tell me to call back asap because your rooms are filling up quickly for the night and you cannot hold that price very long. Honestly, the price was fine, but not for someone making me have to decide at that exact moment while Im on the phone. Ive never dealt with any cheap motel, or expensive quality hotel for that matter, where I was told decide now or else.

Clean comfortable room easily accessible from the highway centrally-located. Staff was friendly. No breakfast however directly in front of the hotel about 20 steps away is a fantastic little restaurant called El rodeo. The food is fantastic it is obviously a local favorite and it is a good price also. They only serve breakfast during breakfast hours so if you want breakfast you need to be there during breakfast. the food is fantastic, and it is obvious that the hotel benefits from this symbiotic relationship. I did not feel the need to check the bed or the carpet when I walked in to the room. The beds are rather hard but everything is clean and feels clean. Communication with the hotel staff before I arrive was prompt and clear. For the price I would definitely recommend this oyo hotel. overall the room is a 4-star because its nothing fancy there are no little details to bring it up to the last level however it is clean and comfortable so to me that is definitely four stars. I did not feel like it was in a top-notch area but I also did not feel like we would be robbed the minute we stepped out of our room or that our truck would be broken into. However it was not an upscale area so three stars for that.

Since Im traveling cross country, I needed an overnight place to say. The gentleman and lady in the front where so friendly and helpful during check-in. My room was huge and cleaned!! The first placed where I stayed that had the cleanest bathroom.... I slept like a baby on the huge bed. It was so comfortable. All in all worth the stay.

So the entire experience was interesting. The man at the front I’m assuming the manager orOwner, asked for a security deposit.I told him just to add it to my card. He said he prefers cash. I told him i didn’t have cash and the card would have to work. He then told me I wouldn’t get the security deposit back for 45 days? I’m like that’s a long time but ok….. he told me again he preferred cash. I told him sorry, I don’t have any….it was midnight I just wanted to sleep after traveling for 3 days.He gives me our room key. I tell him I have a German Shepard service dog. I even provide the registration number and paper proving it. He makes a face and says if I have any complaints about her I will have to leave…. Ok?We get to the room, it smells. It was not clean. Cigarette burns on the blanket. Burn marks on the counter and in the tub. I was wayyy to tired to find another hotel. Through out the entire night tweaked we’re having full blown conversations near our room and walking past it. I would not recommend this hotel.

I should’ve figured this wasn’t going to be great. The room stinks and the door doesn’t securely shut real good. Woke up with bites on my legs, hopefully it’s not bed bugs.This room literally smells terrible. If I had a choice, I wouldn’t have stayed here, but I had been driving for 10 hours and have another 5 to go, so I needed rest. But never again. Don’t go to their location in Corpus Christi either, the staff there are rude.

I would highly recommended this property for your stay in San Antonio !! The hotel staff is always amazing and accommodating if I need anything. The rooms are quite clean and the amenities fantastic with TV, phone, cable, free WiFi, housekeeping, jetted tub in select available rooms, and refrigerator and microwave. The rates are also reasonable. Also it is very quiet! V Close to shops and eateries! I always love my stay when I come.

The owner was super nice. Our cable wasnt working so he dropped everything to come and fix it which took 5 minutes. The last guest had stolen the adapter. Listen to your GPS when you get close. Its right behind a taco restaurant which was convenient. The motel is in a big parking lot with speed bumps. The ice machine worked and there was an extra lock on the door. For the price we couldnt ask for more.

Manny. And Kate offer stellar service. The king size bed was amazingand ao comfy. It Felt like sleeping on a cloud. Our room was clean and smelled fresh. Surprised how nice and clean the entire hotel is for the price. Great value for clean comfort

OYO Inns and Suites was better than expected for the cheap price. I recalled reading that something would be available for breakfast. That proved to be untrue but for the cost, I wasn’t surprised. The staff met my requests with ease. Spring Break has been a success on a budget. My only suggestion is to bring your own cleaning supplies and toiletries because the towels didn’t look bright white enough for me to use.

Not bad, not great. Make sure you have cash for the deposit which is due when you get there, between 50$ an 100$. Didnt have any problems getting the deposit back, so I personally dont have any complaints on that. Take slippers or house shoes. The floors havent been redone since the early 90s or before looks like. Bathrooms could use a handicap bar in the shower as well, especially if youre coming from the medical center near by. Looks like new cameras have been installed to help with security although theyre not responsible for anything lost or stolen. Lock your vehicle.

Our experience was not subpar, but not necessarily fantastic either. The bed was comfortable, and the room was spacious, however the bathroom was small and there were no additional amenities such as a pool or breakfast space. It was a generally small hotel though, and not loud at all throughout the day or night. It was definitively a positive stay.

The room was comfortable and definatively a good experience. The room was cleaned daily and didnt have any odd smells as some hotels do. The only questionable note I would have is regarding the cleaning of the bathroom, the toilet was not cleaned until our third day of our stay. That was a very minor inconvieniance though, and overall the stay was a positive one.

Thank you San Antonio Northwest Medical Center for making our trip to San Antonio such an amazing experience. When we arrived we received a warm welcome from the staff at the front desk and it took less than 5 minutes for us to be given our keys to the room. We loved our suite (11) especially when we saw our very own! My son and daughter raced to the outdoor rooftop place, with breathtaking views of the central, with free cold water, fanta and coke.

It was the worst experience of my life staying at this OYO Inn. Once I stayed in a jie xie qa hotel in China Jilin for 7$ a night and even that room was better than this hotel room. Everything was so bad from towels to showers. Bad was wet as well.

I am a victim of hurricane Harvey and FEMA sent me to this hotel, and I couldnt be happier. the rooms are great and the staff is wonderful, always there to help. I needed a room down stairs, and they not only gave me that but 1 with a hot tub. the staff even said they would wash my clothes for me, WOW!! When Im in SA I will always stay here *****

Omg worst hotel everrrr! They had bed bugs!! Poop stains on the wall!! How does that even happen? When we tried to complain, the manager was rude like we did something wrong. The worst part of all the room smelled like a fish market. Please save your money & go somewhere else.

Great for a low priced motel. It is easy to miss and can be hard to get back to. Ive turned too soon and ended up at a dead end a couple of times. The rooms, with one exception, are basic with a mini fridge and microwave. The exception is the restroom. Im not sure if all of the rooms are to same but the one I was in has

Upon arriving at this hotel I was hit with the harsh reality that you have to pay a 50 dollar deposit cash before entering.my uber driver definitely had a hard time finding it. If you don’t see the Frost bank, you’re on the wrong side The room itself was basic. Nothing too fancy. However there was indeed a curious smell coming from the headboard of the bed. It was similar to antibiotics. After the first night I got used to it. I also very soon realized that there wasn’t a roll of tissue in the bathroom which is potentially problematic at best. After I settled in and invited a friend over , they realized that there was a singular french fri under the dresser near the television. A singular French fri. We also were well aquatinted by a few flies buzzing about the room. They were indeed pesky at first but I genuinely grew to appreciate their company. This hotel is not bad by any means. I slept great. It should be used for just sleeping. The worst part about it was indeed the French fri.

DO NOT STAY! BED BUGS!!! First of all the owner told me a price and then all of the sudden it was $55 more. The rooms at first glans dont look bad but they are terrible their was a bad bug on my leg. It was the most disgusting thing ever. On top of that I was told I was going to get a jacuzzi, all I found was a regular old bath tube. DO NOT WAIST YOUR MONEY!

The front desk is very rude and has no customer service skills especially to ca himself a manger or a Patel. He is no Patel and does not know how to manage a business. He changes rules on a whim. The property is very nice but pooply managed, they use 3rd party reservations sites like Expedia and hotwire to keep customers money and never let them have the room they have already been charged for. He proceeded to tell me. oh well if I dont give him an incedental charge? Even after not being notified of that before finalizing the reservation. That they would never give me a refund or a room and that it is my problemnow. This place is a joke the manager is a joke and if he expects to operate his business in a professional manor then he should learn to be a professional himself.

1st of all Im not from here. I had one friend come to see me and was getting yelled at for having him over. According to them were supposed to let them know how many visitors your GNA have and when there leaving. Oh and that they could not use the restrooms in the room that I rented. Decided to leave after only being here for 3 hours and they wouldnt even give me half of my money back. SO to all of you deciding on staying there Id be careful with having visitors there. Needless to say I wont ever return

They overbooked me.. though I called them up for the booking before ending up to the place. The lady at front desk started giving all kind of excuses and finally arranged me at some other motel but LIED to me that its at the same price. With my family and a 1 year old kid, had no option to drive to the other hotel, pay extra and stay.I wish there was some option to sue these guys. At least have some curtsy and lie to to your customers.

We decided to walk from the station on a hot day; not a very good decision if you dont know the city! We are used to walking everywhere and it looked do-able - indeed it was, if you havent got too many bags, but it is a tortuous walk if you dont know where you are going, and the map we had wasnt wonderful. A taxi was on the way back..

Reasonable price and good quality for a 2-star hotel. Love the staff. Friendly and humorous. Reason for 4 star is because we didn’t have a clothing iron in our room. Hope management see this and pay attention.

Tried to over charge for Holiday Weekend when hotel is mostly vacant. Was put on top floor. When requested to have bottom floor, was told it was reserved for handicapped and disabled. My father is disabled. Refused to accommodate. Was placed between two other guests in the hotel when a multitude of rooms were available away from other guests. Website says pool available, however there was no pool at this location. When asked jokingly where the pool was hidden, was only given a shrug and glare. Tv was old and so static filled and sound was terrible. Did not watch tv. Refrigerator was frozen over inside. Could not use.

Very quiet, well kept. First time staying at oyo and definitely would not mind staying again. The only thing I wasnt too happy about was the $50 deposit that I may have looked over or it was not clear on the booking site. Other than that great place

My wife and I visited Hotel San Antonio Northwest Medical Center in July 2018 for 3 nights and it was such an enjoyable trip. The hotel itself is centrally located with lots of bars and restaurants close by. The central and Real City was a 1-3 minute walk from the hotel. The breakfast spread was amazing and much more than you would expect from a complimentary breakfast in most hotels.

They talked me out of booking with travelocity since it could save them some bucks. I said okay thats fine. We were working on a project & sent in a crew & they said they wanted a bid for their hotel. They then wanted to by-pass the company & hire the crew directly to do the work. Will never book here again

We live about 40 miles from this motel. My wife had an appointment at the near-byMed,. Center. The appiontment was set up for 7 AM and again at 2 PM for two days.Since it was so early in the morning, and for two days, I decided to book a room for2 days. The doctor that examined my wife said. Due to recent radioactive treatmentWe will not be able to treat you Tomorrow..Check out time is at 11 AM, so we returned to the Motel and informed the man at the desk that we had to leave. Since we stayed only 1 night and checked out prior to 11 AM, I asked for a refund . He said NO, that I need to give the Motel a 24 hr. notice in order to receive a refund.As we were backing out of the parking lot, he stopped us and gave me 1/2 of my money back.Told the wife. Been here twice...my FIRST time and my LAST.

They have no WiFi no breakfast no coffee in the room ice machine doesn’t work. The room smelled of stale smoke carpets were dirty and when we left for the day and came back the bed was not made. Kids running around till midnight. The price was low but not worth the money.

Bullet hole in head board. Drawers falling to pieces. 2 wouldnt open. Police boot print on the outside of the door. Blood stains on the mattress, chairs and floor. On top of it all i was charged 73$ plus 20$ extra check in fee first night. My card was charged 103 instead of 93 like it was supposed to be. Then second morning i complained about the price of the room which was apparently 84 that morning and was rudely told go upstairs and pack ur stuff then. And leave. I dont need ur business i posted multiple pics of all that ive reported in this review. This was taken AUGUST 5TH, 2017.

Never knew about this place until today when looking for a motel when going to website price was reasonable and even better there was a discount code! Which would have given this place 4-5 stars except after paying for the room online and going to check I was asked for an additional 50 deposit which want expressed when booking nor would i have bn given an refund what?! Then the lady goes from $50 to well just givr $20 really? I feel like ive been scammed never will go here again

I NEEDED TO STAY IN THIS DUMP FOR QUITE SOME TIME BECAUSE OF SOME PERSONAL REASONS I COULDNT HELP BUT I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO GLAD TO OF PROGRESSED OUT OF THE WHOLE NIGHTMARE AT THIS MOTEL First OFF I WAS STAYING THERE ALOT BEFORE THE PRESENT OWNERS Came to takeover without any problem. With the owners now came rules such as 50$ more on the week whick made it 350$! A WK without any laundry, I wasnt allowed to have new towels except for 2 times a week, maid service 2 times a week. And I was the one who insisted on doing myself because the one maid they had employed wouldnt care how well it was done or if she did it at all. She had a key and her and the owners would go into my room when I would have to leave . The maid who lived there as part of her pay would also get sloppy drunk and bang on my door to yell and carry on agitating me and causing all sorts of issues. The owners woho knew I was in town alone without family or many friends would like to almost stand over me and make decisions for me such as who I had in my room to visit, if I had a package they would send it back and tried to bully me around. Taking every dollar and trying to charge me for a new bed spread which was actually just a coverlet on a old ratty blanket. But ended up putting new half way decent blankets in the rooms except mine, and left my room the only one with a box TV and mind you I ALWAYS PAID ROOM CHARGE ON TIME TO EARLY. NEVER LATE. The carpet was so dirty it would cause my feet to be black within a 10 minute walking around. And they never used any REAL cleaning supplies all was just water and very little color . So I would buy my own also would act like I was a bother to ask for the vacuum cleaner more than that 2 days I was allotted. And the towels were so dingey from no bleach and you couldnt tell them apart from the rags to clean with. Which I wasnt allowed to have anymore then 2 towels at a time either nor get new ones more than that 2 day mark. This is just the tip of the iceberg with the inconveniences to put it as down played as possible. SAVE YOUR MONEY THESE PEOPLE ARE GREEDY AND HAVE NO IDEA OF HOW AMERICAN HOSPITALITY WORKS OT IF THEY DO THEN CERTAINLY NEVER STRIVED TO ROLL OUT ANY SORT OF WELCOME MATT FOR ME. Its great if you dont want to shower or take off your clothing. Oh and if they give you a late check out, thats a lie they charge a late fee for telling you one then harass you till you leave after 11. Ill never go back but maybe thats just because of the black mold in the tub. UPDATE: being threatened for stealing towels. Dont have it, he is THREATENING TO CALL POLICE.

I stayed at the hotel with my Caucasian daughter because we were homeless but at least I was not dealing with the ivy..The first couple of weeks were great,the whole crew was awesome..I dont know what happened suddenly, I guess I caught on to another female using my identity to book rooms..I know what she did and God have mercy on your soul.The love for money is the root of all evil and in the end no one takes money to the other side sweetie..God knows about my hand prints too..I should save this world but everyone is too far gone into a game..I Boss and he is your Creator..

Loud airconditioner, toilets not securely attached to the floor, hard and lumpy mattress and pillows. Best thing I can say is that because it had very few guests, there was no noise from the next room.

Ive been staying here about a month the rooms are just fine clean and everything works. Considering we are in a city full of tourist all year long. The staff is very freindly and the owners are súper nice. There is a restraunt in front so very conveniente. And your within 2 min of any store you want

This place is ridiculous!!! I reserved a room through travelocity and unfortunately was not able to make the stay. Not only did they not refund my money the hotel was fine with keeping my money even though I did not stay with them. Do not stay at this hotel! I’ve never experienced a problem with Travelocity before on canceling a reservation and I can’t believe they’re just going to keep my money without having my business!!

Half way threw my stay Im tired and exhausted I get to my room lay down to take a nap and right when I fall asleep I get a loud knock on my front door at 6pm stating they are going to be in my room to be doing maintenance they ripped out my ac and my privacy was invaded i booked this hotel hoping to have a joyful and undisturbed stay but I was fully disturbed and was trying to talk to the office on why I was not given a courtesy call or a heads up that they where gonna have this happen or why I was not told about this at check in because apparently the mainence was scheduled hours before my initial check in the manager was unhelpful to assist me in this issue

This place is awful; the rooms are smaller than shown in pictures, the bathroom is absolutely tiny, and the furniture save for the bed was in massive disrepair to where the chairs were basically stools with the backs not even attached enough to allow you to lean back...the place has no laundry facilities and the beds are only so so quality...stay away, I got my money back and went back to the homeless shelter Ive been in since February...thats how bad this place is to me

The room had a very fault smell...Floors where filthy and restroom looks so dirty.......towels had hair on them....

Its a nice hotel, clean rooms everyday, no breakfast as we saw, if we ever come into this area again theyll see us here!

It was nice but room was not that clean.... We told front desk and when we left the next morning Ill deposit was returned.

Staff was very friendly and the location was great. Only downfall was the ppl upstairs were loud other than that it was a good place to stay

Actually left within 3 hours of my stay because the room wasn’t clean and I found cockroaches in the restroom, when I asked front desk for my refund they said they couldn’t help me because of hotel policy. Never staying there again.

Smelled like wet dog and the air conditioning unit acts simply as a fan Ive been to other places that charge less and have provided better atmosphere in worse sides of town

Nice place very clean but I was a little surprised that there was an extra guest in room now I m taking a swollen leg for a memory.lol management said there could not possible spider since they dont re not rent room for them.lol

Clean , extremely affordable and right next to a Mexican restaurant . What more could you ask for . Also the rooms are extremely roomy and big.

VERY HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE PLACE. MANAGER WAS BEYOND RUDE. TALKED VERY LOUD TO ME IN FRONT OF OTHER CUSTOMERS AND I HAD TO TELL HIM TO LOWER HIS VOICE. COMPLAINING ABOUT THE PERSON THAT CAME BROUGHT ME TO CHECK IN AFTER I STATED HE WAS NOT STAYING IN THE ROOM. GET IN THE ROOM, PULLED THE COVERS BACK AND IT HAIR, CRUMBS, HOLES, AND BLUE INK ON THE SHEETS. COULDNT CHECK IN EARLY BECAUSE THEY WERE ALLEGEDLY GETTING THE ROOM TOGETHER. I CALLED AND ASKED FOR NEW SHEETS AND HE EXPECTED ME TO CHANGE THEM AND WHEN I SAID IN WOULDNT HE SAID I CAN COME GET MY MONEY BACK THEN. CANCELED THE RESERVATION MADE AND NOW I AM FIGHTING TO GET MY MONEY BACK BECAUSE HE TOLD THE COMPANY I DIDNT GET MY SECURITY DEPOSIT BACK, WHICH I DID. ALSO STATED I STAYED IN THE ROOM ONE NIGHT WHEN I DIDNT STAY AT ALL! I GUESS HE HAS A PROBLEM WITH BLACK PEOPLE RESIDING IN HIS ROOM. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYBODY. I WOULDNT EVEN GIVE IT THE ONE STAR.

The WORST hotel,Dark, dirty, unsafe, with no service attitude, and when we arrived they told us that they had overbooked and did not have our room but they did charge us.The concierge gave us the wrong phone number and an email that was never answered to get our money back.

The bathroom was super dirty, the Indu who works at the reception started complaining when we were 4 people for a double room
