Its always a great experience when I get a massage hereThey have the best people for both the front desk and for the massageThe area is always clean and relaxingThey always reassure whats being done, as well as ask if theres any current injuries and your prioritization to certain muscle groups, its great - it doesnt make me feel uncomfortable to just bring it up, cause they do 💀💀 Im just shy lmaoBut super great!

So…My last visit here was about 5 years ago. Mainly because it wasn’t good…my best friend gifted me a session from here and i figured to give it another chance.I’m SO GLAD I DID.Mr.Jimi K. is amazing. He really know his stuff, thanks to him and back at running (after two years unable to) and one month without migraines.Thank you Mr. Jimi for your professional advise and care.

Jimmy provided the perfect massage! He focused on trigger points and my anatomy to help remedy and work trouble areas in my muscles. He was very personable and accommodating as well. Next time Im in San Antonio I will be visiting him again!

The guy at front desk is awesome, and so welcoming. I feel so heard and appreciated. My massage therapist Steven is so knowledgeable about the body and did great on my massage. For sure coming back !!

Best massage I’ve had in ages. Rafael provided a personalized approach and really focused on my problem areas for the entire massage. It hurt so good! I can tell he really knows his muscle anatomy and I left that massage sore but significantly more relaxed and less tense than before. Five stars for Rafael!

I had a very frustrating experience with the management at this location. At the start of COVID, I was a member with regular sessions. During the pandemic, I kept my membership active to support this local business. Unfortunately, I received military orders prior to life resuming normal operations and ultimately, the location refused to work with me on my built up sessions ultimately costing me over $500. Recommend caution with a membership.

Most recommended Jimi, so I booked my appointment with Jimi. It wasnt Jimi when I got there. There was no big deal for the first time, but I did have a good deep tissue massage. The staff are friendly and very professional. Will come back for the next one.

I’m very pleased with this location. Was able to get in pretty quickly, with the therapist I wanted, Jimi. My back was hurting following a driving trip and I had tension issues. He listened very well to what I described and knew how to help. I feel much better. I will definitely come back and schedule with Jimi.

There is little availability when trying to book a massage. I tried booking a massage and there was an opening 1 month out. This has been typical since I started my membership. I have 6 credits now that my membership has expired and was able to book 3 of them. Management refuses to extend time to use the remaining credits despite zero availability within my limit. I spoke to the Alamo Heights office 2 weeks ago about this on the phone and stopped in as well to discuss. I was assured both times that management would contact me. I was never contacted. Today I called again, no availability for massages until April. I asked to speak to management and after a long hold was told that management will not extend time to use credits and would not talk to me. They gave me an email an a first name only of management, Tony. They said I can email and he will get back to me. This is very poor customer service. I would not recommend ever paying for a membership to Massage Envy.

I had a credit from my MIL for a free massage as an old birthday gift I decided to finally use. When I called to make the appointment, the woman I spoke with on the phone looked up my phone number & said “Yes, I can see your credit right here.” So I booked for the following day. The massage itself, by Rob, was excellent. Very professional! But unfortunately when I went to check out they told me that my credit had expired. I was so angry because I wouldn’t have booked the massage if that was the case as I’ve been trying to save money recently. I told them that I should have be told this when I booked, not after the services. Luckily a few days later the manager called to inform me that they were refunding my credit! Very nice of them to correct it for me. Would go again!

I had neck surgery a couple months ago and was very stiff, had limited range of motion and a lot of pain. Jimi was amazing and took the time to get my history and make sure he tailored my massage to my needs today. He is excellent at giving a true therapeutic massage and really works on your trigger points! I came out of my appointment 1000 times better with greater range of motion, nearly no tension and the pain significantly reduced. I have had many massages in the past but none that I have felt this much relief from. HIGHLY recommend Jimi!

Jimi is the BEST!! If you are looking for trigger point release or sport massage type, he’s your guy. He knows what he’s doing and he understands anatomy really well (I’m saying this as a nurse practitioner!) I struggled so much to find a good massage therapist after I moved to San Antonio area, and now I found the one after trying sooo many other therapists. But if you’re looking for some relaxing rubbing type of massage, he might not the one that you are looking for.

If you’re able to get in with the therapist, Jimi, do yourself a favor and do it. Especially, if you are in pain and need someone with real experience who genuinely cares. You will literally be in good hands! Take the time for yourself and book a massage.

Not happy with service. They have a call center and it’s like having to deal with cell phone carrier customer service when you have an issue. Meaning you get the run around.

They only get 2 stars because i had a good massage but at checkout i was charged 3 times. I called the next spoke with Brooke and she explained the charge would drop off. Days later one charge drops off and I’m still charged twice. When i called back she seemed to be getting frustrated when i was explaining when I’m the one who should have been angry. I even tried to cancel the membership she won’t allow that without a doctors note stating that i can not get massages. DO NOT sign up here! Hand & Stone is MUCH better. Now I’m possibly stuck with paying these people $60 a month for bad customer service. NEVER AGAIN! The only thing that would make me return to this location is Monica the massage therapist but if i can cancel i absolutely will!.

I did their membership where you pay $70 per month. Due to COVID the money started piling up since I wasnt using the services. I thought Id be a good citizen and not cancel during this tough time and Id use the credits later. However, after COVID it was very difficult to get an appointment. I had to schedule several weeks out and even then, Massage Envy would cancel some of them. It became near impossible to catch up since I now had about $900 in credit. I tried to pause my monthly $70 dollar payment to catch up on my credit but THEY WOULD NOT LET ME! I couldnt believe it. So I tried to cancel and get my money back. They wouldnt let me do that either (which should be illegal and might be). I had to go to some program where I paid $20 per month for 6 months to catch up. Even then, I could not get in enough sessions to catch up. So I finally canceled and took over a $700 loss. DO NOT sign up for their membership.

I have been a member of massage Envy for 2 years and this location has been the best experience for me. The front staff is so sweet upon arrival. The massage therapists are amazing at helping me have a relaxful massage. Yesterday I had my first facial with Cat. She is so educated about skin care. She took her time and really cared about me having a wonderful treatment. I will definitely be coming back for facials only with her. I would Highly recommend Cat to everyone she has the most gentle angle hands you wont be disappointed!!Please come here for the best relaxation time and wonderful customer service!!!

Yvonne is super rude. Instead of trying to hustle $30 from customer, how about trying to be solution oriented and friendly. No attitude was delivered but one received. If you don’t see nothing wrong with telling people “you can go now” in addition to holding people hostage. Honey you got some serious work to do bc I’m not your child. Smdh. Btw Jose was great but Yvonne’s attitudes makes the whole place toxic.

This location is the worst. Scheduled an apt through tori and she completely messed it up. Was supposed to be 1 1/2 hour and ended up being an hour. I brought my girlfriend (a non member) to get the same 1 1/2 hour. After my massage is cut short at 1 hour I inform the staff that this is incorrect. They tell me my girlfriend apt was never scheduled and they only had her down for an hour too. Except that shell be out 30 min after me. What a total cluster this was. At no point did anyone offer to make this right for us and just kept passing the buck saying it must have been put in the system wrong (or not at all). So I offered the asst manger an opportunity to make a things right and she said there was nothing she could do. So here I sit in the lobby waiting on my girlfriend writing a review when I should be in a room relaxing. I am canceling my membership immediately and would not recommended anyone come to this place unless you want to be treated like your time does not matter. Some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced.

The services I had were great but this location charges a non-disclosed market fee to redeem the membership credits. Ive been to 15-20 locations throughout the country and this is the only one Ive ever had charge additional. I wont be back to this location!

Absolutely unprofessional to allow us to book online then immediately call to tell me they can’t accommodate me after all. This location in particular has done this to me more than once. We cancelled our membership because this place never had any openings or people to work and now this incident just confirms we made the right decision. Book elsewhere!

Good massages are hit or miss. They are reasonably priced though.Their policy is to charge you if you cancel less then 24 hours in advance, we were charged when we had to cancel due to a death in the family. But since then they have cancelled on us with less notice and there is no penalty on their part for our inconvenience.

I called to enquire about a lymphatic drainage massage post liposuction. The girl on the phone booked me for that same day and I drove across town to make my appointment. When I arrived I filled out the paperwork and they sat me back to wait for my therapist. Right when my time started some lady (no idea who she was because she didnt introduce herself) came in and told me I would need a release from my doctor to be massaged. I was obviously upset that this wasnt mentioned at all before. To make it worse, as Im waiting for my ride to arrive my therapist comes to try to take me back for my massage. Nobody even told him my massage was not happening! This place is so unbelievably unprofessional! I will never be back! Reading the reviews I understand why so many people have problems being over charged. The staff is clearly unorganized!

Ive been a loyal member here for nearly 3 years and I truly believe the massage therapists and estheticians at this location are amazing at what they do! However, I had one TERRIBLE experience today with the management.I book my next appointment every time that I finish with my session, and last month was no different. Today, when I showed up for my scheduled appointment (that was already paid for by me), I was told that my name was not showing up in the system. The girl at the front desk was very polite and apologized, and said that I could wait 2 hours for the next available esthetician, to which I declined and asked to speak with a manager since there was an error made in the scheduling. She said the manager would call me as he was out of the office.I received a phone call about 30 minutes later from a manager who I explained the situation to and he replied by stating that he could reschedule my next session for me. I informed him that I had driven an hour to and from my appointment and that I was displeased with the inconvenience that the scheduling error had caused. He replied by asking Well, what do you want? I was taken back by the change in his tone and paused for a moment.I replied What do you mean? He said I already told you I can reschedule your appointment for you so what is it that you want?. At this point I felt my face become warm and flushed and replied what is it that you can do? Again, he asked WELL, what do you want? When I answered his question he asked, So you think that you driving for an hour is the same as what it costs for me to give you a $100 massage?To make a long story short, the manager offered me absolutely nothing to rectify or deescalate the situation. By the end of our conversation, I was horrified by the incivility that this manager had displayed toward me, so I asked him to terminate my $70 monthly membership that I have been religiously paying for the last 30 months.I think that the lack of consideration and unprofessional nature that was displayed today needs to be addressed by someone other than myself, so I will be moving forward with this issue. And honestly, I hope that no one else has to go through what I did.

My husband and I came in for a couples massage during spring break. My husbands masseuse was wonderful his name was James he did a fantastic job. Mine on the other hand was a little bit harder than I needed. I kept saying ouch and expressing discomfort and she was trying to work the knots out of my shoulders. Overall it was relaxing but I ended up being sore which I have never been from a massage before . I think her name was MIA or Maria but she didnt listen to me either way. I would come back to a different masseuse.

I am beyond thrilled with my decision to buy a membership. The Alamo Heights location is always lovely and clean. I am always welcomed and checked in right away. I hesitate to keep writing as I dont want to give away a good thing.... My therapist Vicky is the BOMB!! Her technique of the combination of stretching and joint manipulation combined with massage is incomparable. I leave feeling like a million bucks. Add to that she is warm and personable and its like Im coming to see an old friend each month. I cant say enough good things about her or this location. Thank you all for such a wonderful experience! I shared the goods so please leave me some space on Vickys schedule!!! Lol

I had an annual membership with ME. Did not renew because they never have availability when I need therapy. After fighting to ensure that they dont renew my membership, I apparently had 3.5 unused sessions left but only have a week to fulfill them and when I tried to book appointments there is no availability.

My husband and I got couples massages by Rafael and Maqidah. My husband had good things to say about Maqidah and I had the best experience with Rafael. He was so attentive and found my worst trigger points. I did not want the massage to end.

I got my facial done with Nancy. I received excellent service, I will be returning. Receptionist Vanessa was very professional, patient, and kind. It’s nice to do business with a place that welcomes you with a friendly face!

Went in for a microderm facial and was expecting the usual treatment that I normally get at every other massage envy. However my esthetician did not use steam on my face or even a warm cloth to open the pores. When she started doing the Microderm with a dry face it felt like torture. When I asked her for steam she said that she only does microderms on a dry face. To top it off the lady at the front desk that booked my appointment quoted me $130 when I booked the appointment then when I come out they charge me 150 not including the tip, and said that she apologized but that she couldn’t give me the facial for what she had previously quoted and that it was now 150. I didn’t add anything extra, I was just charged extra. I am just upset she didn’t tell me this before I went in for the treatment and waited till after I was done. Very disappointed

Changing my review. Over the last few months every time its the day of my appointment something had gone wrong. Either the therapist has left, time conflict, or someone has called out. I was also doubled charged on two different accounts. Used my debit to pay and was charged on that card and my credit card on file. I called and they couldnt find any record of the debit payment and told to email Bank information to someone at their office. No, thank you. Thankfully my bank fixed it for me. It seems to always be something here now and there are always different people at the front desk to help. Definitely going to a different location soon.

Absolutely the worst place if you want to get ripped off because my membership was in active they suspended it and all of my credit that I have already paid for they are not letting me have them $600 worth if you want to get ripped off do not go there. They would not even issue a credit for the nine credits that I have for massages they chose to say sorry your loss if all of the massage envy’s are like this Buyers Beware. Oh and by the way the people ...I spoke with were STEPHANIE and MEIGAN so here’s props to you for absolutely the worst customer service ever!!! PLEASE SHARE MY POST!!

I usually get my services at this location and decided to bring my mom here for very first treatment. The staff and especially Nancy is amazing, but the business manager however (Brooke) is not. She did not meet the level of customer service that I usually experience at this location. Having this type of impression, from a manger to a long time member and to a new client is unfortunate.

Love Massage Envy! They always come through on appointments and I always leave feeling better than I came when I got there!!

Had an awesome massage today. Jason was very attentive to my needs. He really concentrated on my problem areas. I felt so much better when I left. I will definitely set another appointment with Jason.

Update: Ive been going for over a year now and, while I like my therapist, the front desk staff has progressively gotten terrible. They dont seem to be trained well and theres high turnover. I need to cancel my subscription soon.Previously: 4 Stars - I like it here once I found the therapist for me. Not bad pricing either.

Nancy and Josie are absolutely fabulous. I’ve been to a lot of Massage Envy locations across the country- and these 2 gals are the best of the best!!! Nancy - best facial ever- and Josie- best massage ever. Thanks for making my day great. You all are wonderful.

From the moment you walk in they greet you with smiles and they are very efficient and clean . They check your temperature and they even gave me a new mask after my facial. Staff is very friendly and welcoming . I love this location.

If you are not a wellness member the receptionist treat you like crap. I received a gift card for my b day, now I do not want to use it.When I called to schedule appt, receptionist could not find my account. Asked for a Sunday appt, she had one for Saturday so I took it. Showed up to my appt it was scheduled for sunday. Very inconvenient!!!

They cancel your appointments all the time but charge you a fee if you cancel once. The management is very unorganized and they can never keep the same staff.

Cant even do a full body massage correctly or have a drink ready while you get dressed. Felt their fake act instead of truly caring about their jobs that are supposed to be helpful to others. She still did good where she massaged just expected better.

Nancy is amazing! If you are looking for an estitician go see her! I wouldnt trust anyone else with my skin. I also love this location, the staff is great!

I purchased a gift card here for Valentines Day. The receptionist was super nice, helpful, and even offered some suggestions for for future visits. Very professional and knowledgeable!!!

Worse receptions they are always extremely rude or busy talking amongst themselves to acknowledge you have arrived. If you have another location around you I suggest go the further distance.

The call center was not very helpful. I was trying to speak to someone at a location to andwer specific questions.
