I’ve been going to Atlas Massage Center for the past year and absolutely love it! I always book with Long—he is incredible. Not only is he easy to work with, but he really listens to you and your body. I’ve had persistent neck and shoulder issues from remote work strain, and Long’s massages have been helpful in preventing further injury. Plus, his sessions are incredibly relaxing. The environment at Atlas is always clean and peaceful, which adds to the overall healing experience. Highly recommend!

I came in for my quarterly massage (full disclosure I also work here) I booked with Marie(Mhari), it was so relaxing. Very good flow. She was very welcoming too. I asked for lighter pressure, and she delivered which I was thankful for. I realized Im a little sensitive on my legs and low back, which makes sense because Ive been walking more. Overall wonderful experience! Would definitely book with her again!

All the Massage Therapist I have seen here are exceptional. I wish I knew about this place sooner!Whenever I need a purely blissful relaxation massage or a deep theraputic massage I can expect to get it from Atlas.I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone needing massage and bodywork done!

Maya is a very talented massage therapist. I receive a lot of bodywork. Maya’s work is extremely thorough and attentive. She listened very closely to my intentions for the session and appropriately focused on my tight areas. She was able to use a variety of pressure, and actually surprised me at the levels of deep pressure. She addressed some pretty serious knots on my back with very heavy pressure. After the session I felt a ton of relief. All in all, it was an excellent session.

I came to Atlas for my first EVER massage and they now have a dedicated client! I was incredibly anxious as I had no idea what to expect, but Marie was like an angel. So calming and genuine, she reassured me, helped me feel at ease, and relaxed me instantly. Such a soothing experience. I’ve already booked my next appointment with her and can’t wait!

Atlas has so many talented massage therapists! There are a multitude of other options/spas for pampering -- but look no further if youre in need of quality body work (at a very fair price). I was looking for a go-to massage center where I could get a deep tissue massage twice a month. After spending almost $500 here trying to get a good massage, I had high hopes because I initially found a therapist who did a great deep tissue massage. However, my experience quickly turned sour.When I rebooked, the next therapist didnt apply much pressure at all. I even asked her when the warm-up would be done, only for her to inform me that she had already started the massage. I left very unsatisfied and decided to book with a different therapist, hoping for a better experience.I was super clear with the next therapist that I wanted a deep tissue massage and had specifically booked and paid for one. She told me to keep an open mind. She said she would try her best, but couldnt do anything that would hurt herself (which is fair. But they shouldnt have someone frail doing a deep tissue massage). She went incredibly soft, even softer than the last person. I dont understand why they have therapists performing deep tissue massages when theyre not able to apply much pressure. Im a very petite 410 woman, and yet they couldnt manage to apply sufficient pressure.The therapist who told me to keep an open mind also mentioned I could rebook for free if I was unhappy. This assurance led me to continue with her, but when I called to rebook, I was denied.I was looking for a regular massage place, but this is definitely not it. The customer service is horrible, and the therapists are not capable of providing the deep tissue massages they advertise. Do not go here.

Kimberly is the best. She listens to your concerns and adjusts her massage each time based on what you’re feeling. She has the right motions and pressure to provide relief. I move so much better each time I leave. Thanks Kimberly!

Rose is amazing! I went to Atlas for the first time looking for a much needed massage hoping for relief from shoulder/neck pain I’d been experiencing. We are moving & putting up our condo for sale so packing, lifting heavy boxes & general stress was really doing a number on my body. Rose worked on my back, neck & shoulders firmly & deeply but it was never painful. Immediately afterwards, I felt great relief, slept soundly that night & was pain free the next day. Definitely going back!

I chose to make an appointment with John (also known as Long) because other reviews noted how exceptional he is at deep tissue massage to help with everything from athletic injuries to the realities of sitting at work desks all day. I made the best decision -- I have been going to John for 6 months and I now have full rotation of my neck, my shoulders lay flat on the floor when Im doing sit-ups, and my overall posture is great. He is very intuitive and very exact -- you can trust his work. I have appreciated massage in the past, but this has been life changing. My inflammation has disappeared, my sleep is better. And I can exercise without cramping up or fearing I may pull something. If you are considering massage to help with your health, please do it. I cannot recommend it more. I wish I had started my process sooner.

My therapist, LC, is the best! She listens to my concerns and addresses them in lay terms with details and examples that makes everything clear. I enjoy my sessions with her and have recommended friends. They also share accolades about her too.

Atlas is a well oiled machine while still providing the warmth and comfort I seek when I need bodywork. Marie is my practitioner of choice. She works methodically and with intention.. she’s present. On the business side, booking, reminders and online payment are super easy. The place is clean and nicely decorated.

I saw Maya after a broken knee/knee surgery and existing ankle issuesI received a couple of treatments from her and I have a much better range in both knee and ankle, less swelling and walk much betterI can definitely recommend her whole heatedly and will continue seeing her for some more treatments

I discovered Atlas after my son gifted me a massage. It’s a bit quirky walking into the building, but once inside it’s clean and comfortable. Camila is an exceptional therapist and I’ve enjoyed some of best massages ever. I always leave feeling refreshed and energized. And Samantha, the owner, is wonderful to work with on scheduling. This place is a little treasure.

I’ve had massages from most of their massage therapists this particular review is about Maya who helped me out with some shoulder and neck pain that is been bothering me for sometime. It was magic! Such an amazing neighborhood gem! I’ve been going here for years and I’ve had great experiences with every masseuse Ive had. The 3-pack for $270 is such an amazing deal for the quality of massage you get. The Sports massages saved me while training for a marathon, and now I get Swedish massages for a bit more of a relaxing experience :) The service is fantastic too.

Camila does fantastic body work which sometimes includes cupping, along with advice for me to take better care of myself in between sessions. What a wonderful asset!

Atlas Massage is my go-to place! I have had deep tissue massages with Long and Leslie. My friend had their massage with Elaine. The providers here are exceptional in their craft! I love the ability to book a same day appointment. Their rates are reasonable and I always opt for the massage package of $270 for 3, 60-min massages.

I was visiting from San Diego for just a few days and I called for a last minute massage and they were able to accommodate me in less than a day! They also beat everyone else’s prices. They had great communication and my massage therapist, Rose, was such a delight! She was personable, kind and focused on the areas that I needed it the most. The pressure was perfect. Atlas massage center is clean, quiet and welcoming. Samantha (owner/manager) works above and beyond to make their customer their number one priority. She has accommodated and followed up in assuring and reassuring that my experience was better than the last.Leslie (massage therapist) is by far thee best therapist I’ve encountered. Although I haven’t been worked on by many other therapists at Atlas I’m sure they are as reliable, professional, and caring.

Every experience I’ve had at Atlas has been wonderful. I always leave feeling well cared for and immensely better in my body. The first time I visited, I had tweaked a nerve in my neck and could barely move my head. I was able to book a day of appointment with Camila, and she saved me that day! I ended up getting a 3-pack and saw her a few more times over the course of a couple months. She does absolutely incredible work, and other therapists who I’ve seen when she was out of town have also been fantastic! can’t recommend Atlas enough.

I have been going for a massage with Long since i moved to the city a few months ago and cant be happier with the service. He is kind and very attentive to my needs, knows to apply just right amount of pressure and fix any muscle tension issue.The facility and management are wonderful too: never an issue to reschedule a treatment if needed and good customer service.

One of the better places to get a proper massage in the city. Rose was attentive, kind, thorough, gave great tips. She was able to sense what my body needed down to every inch and truly has healing hands. I definitely plan on rebooking with her again. Also the space is clean, comfortable and quiet.

Follow by a soothing Hot Towel. Im always feeling like a whole new person after a Massage here and it last long after the Massage is overIts also Very Affordable and Flexible! They really dont cram the schedule like most places, so You really do get your full 60 minute or 90 minute session!

Absolutely phenomenal experience. I took my boyfriend here on Valentines Day as a surprise. I worked with Leslie and my goodness I cannot recommend her more. I get massages fairly regularly and I can confidently say I have never been more comfortable and relaxed during a session than the one I had with Leslie. Not to mention her magic hands haha. I would be on her table every week if only I didnt live in Arkansas.My boyfriend also really enjoyed his experience, but were sorry to say that we dont remember her name.

Im an athlete, training 15-20 hrs/week. I rely on deep tissue massage to put me back together when my body is falling apart. I dont need a full spa/relaxation experience. This place is perfect - no frills, reasonably priced, lots of appointment openings. Avi is outstanding. He has worked out some insane knots and tension from my calves, neck, back, etc. A necessity for me before and/or after big events and races.

I have been seeing Leslie, for deep tissue massages, at Atlas Massage for almost 2 years now and I cannot say enough great things about her! She has great communication skills and always asks if you have any particular areas that need extra attention and she listens. She is a very skilled masseuse - the pressure is always right. She is good with problem areas, like back or neck, and you leave there feeling like youve done your body some good.The rooms are peaceful, clean, comfortable and relaxing and the music is soothing.If you are looking for serious massage work, and not just a fancy spa experience, this is the place to come and Leslie is the person to see. Leslie was recommended to me by my trainer and I have been very happy with the expert and friendly services provided.

I went to Atlas Massage Center for the first time this week. I had booked a 60 minute deep tissue massage with Leslie. She was great - not only was she attentive to my needs throughout the massage, adjusting pressure and understanding my body cues, but she gave me great in-depth tips and exercises for how to improve my posture, breathing, and overall well-being.The place itself is pretty low frills, but honestly, Id rather pay for an amazing massage than an over the top environment. I’m looking forward to making my work with Leslie a regular habit.

So I hurt my back and needed an emergency massage. I got in to see Long the next day (which is awesome) and arrived at the address early. I wasnt sure I had the right place because it doesnt look like much but in this case looks can be decieving. Long was the kindest and most considerate massage therapist I have had. And, OMG, he is a massage Genius! Literally took my pain completely away in an hour; like magic! I have nothing but love and admiration for this wonderful group of people! They bent over backwards to accomodate me and their prices are insanely low for the quality of massages they offer. I am so happy I went and will visit again soon!!

I really like that they dont just try to cram in you in for a 60 minute session. It seems like they are more focused on being able to give you a full body massage and taking 80 minutes to do it right then to make you choose between 60 or 90 minutes. The place was really clean and comfortable. The only reason I didnt give it a 10/10 were more due to the places other services/amenities available; the service and massage itself were great!

I first heard about Atlas through a coworker of mine. I first went to see Leslie and have been seeing her ever since for my massages! Out of all the massage therapists Ive seen through the years, Leslie is by far the best Ive seen! She really works wonders with her hands, is definitely aware of the muscles of the body and has great interpersonal skills; key attributes that make for a great masseuse! I highly recommend her!

A wonderful warm and healing experience. Long is a professional and caring masseuse, his deep tissue technique helped my back, which had been very painful and crippling, I couldn’t even bend to tie my shoes. He talks though his actions with a calm and quite voice, nothing is unexpected. He also listens to my feedback and adjusts his techniques without hesitation. This place is the best. I see Leslie about every 2 months for a deep tissue massage. She is absolutely terrific at what she does. Leslie is the standard to which I compare all other massage therapists and so far, none have been able to match her. If you enjoy a good deep tissue massage, I highly recommend coming to Atlas to visit Leslie.

Shes phenomenal and really understands how the body and muscles work. Shell cater the session to meet what your body needs at the moment.

We have been to Atlas Massage Center 5 or 6 times and we have never been let down. We usually go in for a couples massage as a treat to ourselves, and leave feeling like all of our stress has melted away. Weve seen a variety of different therapists and all of them are great at what they do. The waiting room is small, yet efficient, and the massage rooms are extremely clean, comfortable, and inviting. Always a good value for the treatments received, we recommend Atlas highly. Leave yourself some extra time before your appointment, as parking in the neighborhood can sometimes take a while.

This was my third massage with Mark and he will continue to be my go to massage therapist in San Francisco. He listens to your needs, areas of tension or injury, has a very calming presence, and you can tell how he switches up techniques between massages the he is quite intuitive with body work. The rooms are always clean and fresh without feeling clinical.

I get massages frequently and have had very mixed experiences - Im pleased to say that Mike is very talented and highly skilled. I chose the 90-minute massage and felt completely relaxed and refreshed. He said he used minimal pressure, which was actually perfect, so I am confident he could give a really deep tissue massage if preferred. I was so happy with the service that I bought a 3-pack. Mike better stick around!

Friendly service, professional. There were several moments of massage over bone and massaging over spots I had asked them not to massage over. This kept me partially vigilant despite the soothing atmosphere and music.

This is probably the only place Ive purchased a groupon for that I kept going back to. Greg and Samantha are my favorite and give the best massages I have ever had. Not just a fluffy massage but a healing massage. One that actually has lasting results to my body other than just an hour of relaxation. I have old back injuries and I do a lot of pole fitness, so a massage helps me do what I love without pain. And to compliment the massage, Atlas Chiropractic in the same building is as equally healing!

Ive been to Atlas Massage only once, but it was a wonderful experience. I was studying for 10-12 hours a day for an exam. All my muscles were stiff and I was hurting all over. The massage was a wonderful relief. I would definitely go back if I were in that area again and would recommend to anyone.

Ive been working with my masseuse, Mila, for over 3 years now and have tried deep tissue massages and pregnancy massages. I loved how my body feels after each session and always had a pleasant visit. Their facility is very clean, quiet and friendly. The only downside is that the parking can be somewhat tricky. Otherwise, I would highly recommend everyone to try their service!

I was in excruciating pain having strained my hip due to a knee injury. I could barely sit up or get in a car. Now I am on the mend as Leslie worked the muscle groups around it to get me past the stuck part. So grateful. Long is very friendly and great at targeting areas that need to be worked on. He is dependable and easy to schedule with. He really gets the knots out and you feel so relaxed when you leave. Definitely book a massage with him!

I love going to Atlas; Leslie is the best. She is always apt at giving the right amount of pressure and spend the right amount of time on the different body parts I mentioned that needed more attention. I cannot wait to schedule for my next massage.

I have come to Atlas twice, both times with my boyfriend, for a couples massage.The facilities are clean, private, and everyone has been very pleasant and friendly.The first massage left us both wanting more, it was relaxing, but the pressure wasnt exactly what we had requested. The second massage was slightly torturous, the pressure being too firm and leaving both of us with some painful spots for weeks to follow. My masseuse kept saying you are really stiff after the massage and I wanted to answer with ....well, it felt like you were ripping my skin off, and my not-so-subtle cues of discomfort didnt seem to alter anything (though, it became so uncomfortable that I did ask, about 20 minutes in, for the pressure to be lighter)I think I would come here again but be more clear on what I would like. I think medium firm might not be the best explanation after all, as it has produced two very different experiences.I still rate Atlas at 4 stars, however, because it is the responsibility of the client to guide the masseuse in terms of pressure and firmness. Its just awkward sometimes, during the massage to talk and ask for adjustments, as it breaks that serene moment. Regardless of my personal experience, I found Atlas to be a welcoming and nice place.

Ive been going to Atlas Massage Center for about 3 years now, and have given certificates as gifts. Both Leslie and Mila give wonderful deep tissue massages. Mila has been working with me on a funky knee for some time; after her first massage I left with no pain in the knee for the first time in several weeks.

Very nice place for a massage. I had a great experience with Katie. Its especially nice to have the chiropractor below so that after an adjustment, one can get a massage. Its a little expensive for me though.
