Rick is fantastic. He is very strong. Can do deep tissue and/or relaxing massage. All this and polite and client focused.This business is very professional. The front desk and scheduling staff work hard to accommodate clients however possible.

Richard was outstanding for my 90 min massage at Massage Envy. Perfect amount of pressure, perfect technique. Knowledgeable about the body, incorporating stretching into the massage. 5 stars! Ive even booked my next message with Richard already!

I was visiting from out of town on a business trip, and my sessions with Bin were great! His technique really help me loosen up my shoulders which have been bothering me from too much time on the computer. He was both polite and professional. If I lived in the area I would make Bin my go-to guy - ask for him if you make an appointment here!

Darryl was very attentive to my knots. He was very kind. He did not over talk. He gave me pointers of how to stay loose while traveling. I feel blessed he was my massage therapist, I did not know any of them because I am from out of town. I would highly recommend Darryl and massage envy.

Bin was outstanding. I have found my new masseuse. I will be returning. I love a deep tissue firm massage. I came in with very tight rigid muscles in my back and neck and I left very relaxed, it was transformative. I am a new woman. Thank you so very much Bin. The reception area and staff so very helpful. The manager was also fabulous with area directions to neighboring shops and Bart location. The location of Envy is just prime and soo convenient to everything. I love everything about it. And my massage and masseuse were A+

I scheduled a same-day appointment on a whim and had a transformative experience. Rick provided a deep-tissue 90 minute therapy that included mindful breathing, affirmations and helpful recommendations. It was altogether a healing experience. Using pressure that was more firm than I am accustomed to, Rick engaged my lymphatic system, improved my blood circulation, and eased my muscle tension. My body felt like it was humming with positive energy after our session. The treatment was so amazing, I scheduled a follow up appointment immediately afterwards.

Was a fantastic massage with a very friendly staff. I paid for 60 minutes and the masseuse was with someone else when I got there so it started 10 minutes into the hour and I only got 50. Otherwise it pulsed been a 5 star experience

Barbara is amazing. I’ve got a lot of lower back pain and she knows just what to do. Front desk staff are also very nice and friendly.

I enjoyed my facial with Jessica and had a great experience. She is really nice and had great answers to my many questions about my skin and care. Will definitely book another one. The Metreon location is really convenient and there are lots of things in that area to do before and after your visit.

I really enjoy the San Francisco Metro location. Its right near the convention center which is so convenient after a long day of event work. My massage therapist was very good and they have a cute waiting room pre-massage. Very kind staff always feel better afterwords.

Barbara was the only therapist who has ever been able to work on my neck effectively. Lots of fantastic stretching and manipulation that actually worked vs just pushing on me. You can tell she really understands the human body. I immediately booked another session with her on my way out yesterday!

Rooms in this facility need to be cleaned and paint freshened up. Other than that my massage was great!

Barbara is my favourite but I’ve never had a bad experience with any of the massage therapists. It is a good value, I try to tip the max amount most times because I’m concerned about the therapists getting a living wage but even with a generous tip it is still great value.

Richard was part Angel and part machine. He just glided around areas of concern and mastered each areas with expertise. He is right now the best massage expert Ive ever had. As a man, I needed his style of massage. I reccomend him highly. Lastly I thank my wife for this great Fathers day gift.

Pema is a wonderful massage therapist. I have seen her several times over the past year, and have always had a very great experience. She is professional, kind, receptive, strong, and does not engage in unnecessary chit-chat. I really like all of those qualities. The staff at this location are very kind and helpful as well. They do a great job of creating a relaxing environment, even with the location being right in the middle of downtown.

Cindy was very thorough and welcoming. She communicated well and checked off all her boxes without being too aggressive. She was able to make me nod off to sleep a couple times within 60mins ⭐️⭐️, and was not too pushy on make a sale at the end. I would definitely recommend her to my friends and will definitely come back to her! Her schedule is already getting full.

Ive been going to the Metreon location for the past couple of years and have had consistently great experiences with getting massages and facials. Everyone from the front desk staff to the therapists are professional and friendly as well as being cognizant of safety during the pandemic.One of the standout therapists for me is Sophie (aka Sappho). If you get the chance, book a 90 minute session with her. Shes extremely skilled and intuitive and does an excellent job of proactively checking in about pressure and comfort. The little bit of extra care goes a long way for me as I always walk out of there feeling better than when I came in.

The staff are always pleasant. The place is clean. The therapist I had, Darryl, listened well to my preferences and gave a fantastic massage each time I’ve seen him. The neighborhood is a bit rough at times but parking is less than a block away.

From the front desk assistants all the way to massage room was absolutely great service provided. Best and relaxing day ever, thanks Darryl! I signed up as your new member. Kudos 👏

I have been getting massages at Massage Envy for years, I have a standing appointment with Sappho every week. I highly recommend Sappho I’m always taken care of above and beyond the service I receive. Sappho customizes my service every week to fit my needs to where ever I need to have more attention. Sappho is aware of the style of massage and pressure I like and is very well educated on the body and its needs. I highly recommend Sappho 100% I always leave reenergized and feeling amazing.:)

I’ve been here, I think, 3 times so far and the customer service has been very hospitable. With that said, the real reason I’m leaving this review is to give praise to the massage therapist, Rick. He is a consummate professional and is very knowledgeable about massaging. I’ve had him twice so far and he’s exceeded my expectations both times. I’m a pretty “athletic” guy with a large frame; I also have multiple body issues that Rick has tackled thoroughly each time. I’ve only had deep tissue massages with him but he’s more than capable of providing different forms of massage therapy. Please do yourself a favor and book with him.

Rick has the highest levels of skill in his work. He is a wizard at easing tension and stresses from the body, especially through deep pressure. Every time I leave I feel like I have just done the deepest cleanse and reset possible.

I had an amazing 90 minute deep tissue massage with Darryl. He has strong hands and really knows how to work the knots out. All the staff were very friendly and professional. Make sure to lock up your belongings in your car. I parked in the parking garage across the street. My back window was broken and my laptop was stolen. 😢

The massage was great. Having to pay an extra $40.00 for the massage because this Massage Envy was located in San Francisco was not fair or right. I’ve been a member for years and should get to use any Massage Envy no matter where it’s located .without surcharges.

Rick gave me a fenomenal massage and truly knows his craft very well, highly recommend and will return. I would book with him repeatedly if I lived here and look forward to my next visit.

Room was too cold. Went in for a full body 90 minute massage which started off good. Then ended in a horrible stretching session I didn’t asked for.

I had an oxygenating treatment with Ameehra and it was fabulous. You could see real results. Very sophisticated products and wonderful service. Go try it out!

I have been a massage envy member for about 2 years now. I have been to several different Massage Envys but THIS location is where I have experienced my best customer service interactions AND best massage/facial... by far.Janesta was knowledgeable and sweet. She asked me all the right questions as a new customer about my skin and concerns. I am writing this review the morning after and my skin is absolutely glowing.Mike executed a phenomenal massage. The perfect pressure was used and he reminded me throughout the session to breath me tensions away.Javier at the front desk was amazing. He helped me through the details to coordinate this visit so that I could have my services straight off my flight from Washington, DC.Jaclyn was also very helpful. If I ever move to San Fran, she will be my first call to make this my home location.Thank you all!

Pema (Pam) is excellent --- she manages to find (and get rid of) knots I didnt know I had! Shes also good at working with/around injuries; I find that her massages help calm down flare-ups I have from a shoulder injury.

Esthetician Cindy gave my a great facial! My skin feels hydrated and glowing. She was also very nice, professional and knowledgeable.

I never been, this was my first time here and came spontaneously. I must say, I had a great experience. I was met by Javier in the front. Great guy, very customer oriented and helpful. It was my first time so 1hr long session was $80. If you become a member it is $60! Non membership and 2nd time or more there it is $120.I was paired with Sarah! She is amazing! She is visually impaired (blind) and has a great service dog. She was awesome, really personable, great hands and has a great sense of where you are strained on your body. I came in feeling sluggish with low energy after a long 12hr day, and left feeling like butter! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Sarah!Overall- 10 out of 5 👍👍👍👍👍

No professional. We booked a massage 1 week ago and we planed our return journey on this massage date. We heard 15 minutes their cancellation policy. And when we came : sorry we dont recorded the massage, we are sorry and thats all ! No solution try to found, no indemnity about our taxi or about what we loose on our time. We are sorry and go for it.Its not enough

I have very mixed feelings about Massage envy after being a member for years. Massage I had in San Francisco was fantastic. However, it’s really hit or miss, and their customer service with respect to changes on your account is horrible. Especially during Covid, if you want to suspender change your account good luck!

I usually dont leave negative reviews, but felt compelled to do so in this case. Yesterdays visit to Message Envy was easily the most disappointing message experience Ive ever had. The therapist didnt really do much, didnt focus on my neck, shoulders and back as I requested and she talked the whole time. I was left disappointed with no sense of value in the money that I just spent. I dont think Ill be returning.

Massage Envy is the worst franchise. I requested to cancel my account in July. Until now (december) they keep debiting my account for membership. Why would you do that? Their manager was supposed to call to clear this up. That person hasn’t either. I love the work by the masseuses here. It is the best. But ME is so bad in maintaining the accounting. I would get an appointment with my masseuse if he worked elsewhere.

Scheduled an appointment while I was in town for a week. Got a confirmation number and was told everything was all set. Showed up and discovered that my appointment was for the following week. Receptionist told me that a manager would contact me to discuss what had happened. Never revived a phone call, not even to apologize.Will be canceling my membership and will take my business to local shops.

Very helpful, understanding of my explanation of tense muscle areas that became that way due to stress (and extra muscle movement after my childhood stroke). I feel much less pain now!

I got a very relaxing and skillful massage from Barbara, she is wonderful! Highly recommend!

Unprofessional and horribly overpriced. 1. The massage techniques were so bad. My shoulder became more stiff and started to hurt a lot the next day after the massage, which never happened before. 2. Five minutes before the start of the 60 minutes massage session I booked, they told me that the actual massage time would be 50 minutes, as the other 10 minutes were for dressing/undressing/consultation. This should be something that is communicated to customers when reservation is made.

I don’t usually leave reviews but this is necessary. DO NOT GO HERE if you are an athlete looking for deep tissue work. People that work at massage envy work there as opposed to other places for a reason: they are inexperienced and don’t know what they’re doing enough to work somewhere better.

Nice facility but very rushed through an extremely expensive massage. KEEP IN MIND that even if you have a Massage Envy membership elsewhere, San Francisco will charge an additional 40 dollars to get your monthly massage here (the only other city that does this is New York). I remain very disenchanted by this surprise.

First time I came here was few weeks ago and I was so excited to see a professional massage therapist with great location and amazing customer service all the pain that I had was relief, but nothing can stay perfect I guess and I hate and actually never done reviews at any business but today the therapist looks like he was lost and had no idea what he was doing, in fact while finishing my foot massage he reacged immediately to my face and stated to give me a face massage and yes without even cleaning his hands!! My 90 minutes of massage and I wanted to Focus on my lower back did only happened for the last 15 minutes :(

I signed up for a package and they charged me the wrong price in the wrong state. I called to cancel within in the 30 days and several times after and no one would respond. I emailed corporate they said they contacted the owner - it was 3 months of calling and emailing till I received a call. Mike the owner said he was on vacation, couldnt do anything, and there were MEs in my location. He said he was trying to achieve middle ground but, offered no solution and said that I have a year long contract. I would not recommend doing business with Massage Envy - especially this location. The absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. Extremely poor business etiquette.

I attempted to schedule an appointment and as a member was informed it would be a $40 surcharge because of the location. I always get a 90 minute Swedish massage and pay the difference which has always been $25. So they charge a surcharge on the surcharge. Thats just nuts! Very disappointed.

Rick is an expert at deep tissue massage. It hurts when he’s working out the knots, but it’s worth it for how great I feel afterwards.

It was worth the time and money. The staff was awesome and the prices were so reasonable for the awesome service I received. I felt like they really put in the time to make your experience worth the price. If you have any aches and pain visit Massage Envy and the pain will melt away, I come twice a month, I like the location because public transportation is accessible.

Decent massage and for San Fransisco not a bad price. Id recommend just going to China Town for a massage but you might get more than you bargained for in that scenario and I dont really want to elaborate on that.
