Nice small place with a backyard. Where u can you sit and chat without hearing the music loud? You can also smoke indoors, and outdoor music is a vibe it gets hot in there when its crowded. $10 dollars to enter drinks is good. i didnt see any food. its more like a drink spot, but overall, it recommended .
This is a little gem in Bed-Stuy. I love that it has outdoor space where smoking is allowed. The vibe is real irie and attracts a diverse crowd. Every one around us seemed to be having a good time, whether it was outside enjoying conversation or inside dancing to the great mix of Caribbean and African music. On the weekends there’s a cover after 10pm. It’s a tight space and gets super crowded inside…but no one seemed to mind. I’ve been there 3 times.
I was assaulted by two black men tonight at this location. I was there with fam and friends. I was dancing with my man, enjoying the vibes when a random man hit me with his phone from quite a distance away. I didn’t understand how his hand managed to reach out so far as to “accidentally” hit me. When I said something he started to get aggressive and loud. His friend then came to my man and started shouting at him, and it created a big scene, where the man who approached my man, spat in my face. His friend who initially hit me with his phone, then attacked me. There was words exchanged and police called. I did not feel protected or safe. It is not safe here. The men are dangerous and security did nothing but try to make everyone leave and try to wipe their hands clean of the situation. Not safe here
I literally love @loversrocknyc but I have never patronized on a Wednesday tho and after tonight, I probably will never patronize on any day ever again. I have a heavy social media presence and I have supported and promoted this place to everyone and everyone because it has always been good vibes and energy but I don’t know why this one bartender tonight looked miserable from the moment I stepped into the place. It took forever to get a drink from her & she looked like she hated every moment of serving me . Nonetheless I understand sometimes people have bad days so I still blessed her with a very generous tip to hopefully boost her mood but to no avail because it was definitely the opposite. She looked bothered by her coworkers by the patrons, etc.. when they called last call for the bar I waited to be served for a few mins , and as I was asking the bartender for one drink, she proceeded to tell him he could not serve me anything that needed ice or a mixer sowhile he was making the drink, she made him pour it out. Never have I ever experienced something like this. Truly disheartening. I believe she said her name was Kane. This turned me off so bad and I will make sure to let everyone and anyone I know that if you want to feel welcomedand good customer service clear if she is serving! I will post a photo of her
Lovers Rock on a Friday night is awesome. Definitely advise all to get there early to avoid the lines. But once inside, the chill vibes, friendly people and great drink prices make this a great spot to party the night away in true Caribbean fashion. The mixed crowd and bonus backyard area make it a hit.
Stumbled into this place randomly and Ive been back several times since. The music and the drinks it just made for the perfect night.
On a nice lit night this the spot here. The vibes are always good, neo-soul, light vibrate chill environment. Music be mix, R&B, Hip-Hop thang swinging here. I come here on nice smooth cool night.
I love this place! It has a cool backyard with chairs and tables which is nice (when the weather permits). You can bring your drinks back there and chop it up with friends until 12:00am. The music is always amazing if you love Caribbean music (with the occasional Afrobeats - More of this would be great 😉). Its a small spot with big vibes! Definitely worth checking out on a Friday or Saturday night.
The citys back!!!! Been here few times before COVID and most recently just last week. Get the Painkiller and rum punch. Expect a small wait starting 9pm on weekends, longer if you come after 10. The highlight of our night was watching the rather dapper bouncer maintain crowd control among a long line of eager patrons . Fun place to bring friends, nice outdoor covered patio with a handful of picnic tables. Small indoor dance floor space, good music. More of a soca feter than dancehall but its all good. Vibes are de best, this is a neighborhood institution.
FIRST OF ALL ALWAYS CHECK YOUR RECEIPT.. BARTENDERS ARE SHIFTY!! THE DJ DOESNT ACCOMMODATE THE OLDER PATRONS!!! ON FRI 4/5/24 I WITNESSED MANY TIMES AN OLDER PATRON MAKE A REQUEST FOR 1 SONG!! THE DJ CONTINULLY SHUNNED HER!! THAT LAME DJ FINALLY PLAYED 3 SECONDS OF THE SONG ONLY BECAUSE A CRITIC TOOK THE LAME DJS PICTURE!!! MY PEOPLES AND I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN!! I SUGGEST ANY/ EVERYONE NOT TO GO THERE!!! IF SO COUNT YOUR CHANGE CHECK YOUR ACCOUNT TWICE!!! AND EXPECT CORNY & REPETITIOUS MUSIC!!! ESPECIALLY FRIDAY NIGHTS!!!
Lovers Rock has been on my list since I moved to BK 5 years ago and stayed there even when I left. And for good reason, the energy is amazing and the drinks are even better and the music tops it all off. Everyone was enjoying themselves and I’ll definitely be back.
Literally walked in and walked out ....if first impressions are to determine anything ....it did THAT night ..without going into details, its not a place I would see myself dining (if food is available) or sitting to have a drink...
Just moved to the neighborhood and was excited to try this bar. However, the music was so loud I could not even hear my friends talk. Overcrowded as well. Atmosphere was off for me so will try another place.
Curly hair tall bartender on Weds nights has an extremely bad condescending attitude get rid of her asap
Had to much fun. Always has a great DJ
Great vibe, unfortunately there was no security check and no security in the establishment. Place was overcrowded and the AC was not working. Wouldn’t recommend this place. Also it was hard to get a drink from the bar due to the server not being attentive. There’s also about 15-20 people standing outside the establishment. Would suggest ownership to look into these concerns. Over crowded establishment, plus heat being of an issue, as well as no security or security check. It just spells trouble.
I was visiting from Chicago. A friend suggested we go there. I loved the vibe and the drinks were nice as well. The color scheme gave island vibes. I’d come back here in the summer time. Seems like it would be a good time.UPDATEI came back again! Definitely passes the vibe check. Rum punch was on point per usual. Only thing is my friend and I wanted beef patties. The bartender basically lied and said they don’t serve food Thursday or Friday which was weird came back the next day “Friday”. They were serving chicken and veggies patties. They were ok, nothing to call home about. Overall every time I come to Bed Stuy I will definitely come here to catch a vibe.
Updated review 06/08/22I met with Joshua from Lover’s Rock today. We had been emailing and he let me know that they had recovered our gift. Awesome! I didn’t expect it to be recovered.Joshua, thank you so much! Thank you for taking time to meet today, for the heartfelt apology and your swift action. The neighborhood appreciates you! Hope to visit again soon.06/06/22My wife and I were there on Sunday night. We had just celebrated our 1 year anniversary. One of our gifts (a boxed bottle in a gift bag) was confiscated by security and they said it would be at the bar when we left. It was not. I’m hoping it showed up in the lost and found and it was not stolen by Chris. You have a great place, happy to see you guys made it through the pandemic and have great bartenders, djs and vibe. We’ve been there many times and have always had fun. We had fun that night! Your security that night was unprofessional, unorganized and one had been drinking on the job. He got close enough to me that I could smell it on his breath. He also put his hands on me. I was polite and calm, even after he touched me.If we can recover our boxed bottle in a gift bag, that would be great. At the very least, please hire responsible and organized security for your events in the future. Chris drinks on the job, is unnecessarily aggressive, and the short woman at the door covers for him and is not a problem solver she actually escalated a simple situation.
Great atmosphere and music. Rum punch was good and strong. Very sparse food menu (mainly patties) so didn’t order food.
Weve been going for a few years now and its always been so much fun with really good cocktails and great music. Always a great night out when we go there.
Such a great vibe. A safe space for ppl of color. The back patio is clutch. The drinks are strong and tasty. Music is on point.
You allow your patrons to party and leave trash all over the block and then never clean up the filthy mess in front of your place when you leave for the night! You’re horrible neighbors and we’re never patronizing you again…I wish I could post photos of the filthy mess covering your entire block today !!! Ugh!
Seriously the best lounge ever! Great music! Staff not so friendly. Drinks are ok but the vibe is great and would keep you coming back. The bus boy needs an attitude adjustment for sure! Overall great place cant wait for the reopen!
Late night, date night, chirps, bants, vibes. Music is always on point.
A place to go to have fun and distract the mind. I had never been there and I liked the atmosphere, and what I liked the most was that yes they could ID and yes they check at the entrance they take their precautions so if you want to have a pleasant time and enjoy yourselves I recommend them
This is my first time leaving a review on an establishment. That’s how amazing of a spot Lovers Rock is. I enjoyed the music, aura, drinks, and beef Pattie’s. Crowd was great as well.
Cool vibe great DJ the music is alway on point
I love this place, but some of the bartenders are trash 🗑🐾💩 🪰 (one particularly young, dumb female). No customer service. In tail end of a global pandemic, cleanliness is VITAL. The bar shouldnt feel like it was wiped down with molasses. They dont wash their hands often, then fix their hair/make-up in between customers 🤢🤮I didnt let the bad vibes ruin my time, but we wouldve stayed longer and bought more drinks if the bartender wasnt such a 🐕🐶🐩.Everyone is entitled to sh!tty days, but a professional leaves it at the door. I held off on writing a review because I wanted to see if it was a one-time issue, but she always has an attitude and cant answer basic questions about the bar/menu.5 stars for ambiance, music, decor, black owned business1 star for customer service
A pretty good spot nice music especially if you have old school reggae and dancehall you will definitely like it
Theres nothing wrong with this place. Chill patio. Chill staff. When I was there a lot of dance hall was bumped. The drinks flow, prices are decent for the area, its clean, hospitable staff and kind patrons. Everyone seemed to be in high spirits and we all had a big orgy when the place closed up.
I DO NOT recommend anyone patronize this establishment. One bartender (dude wearing glasses) with his disgusting attitude and horrible service ruined my vibe for the night. I got there at 9:15pm 9/10/21 and decide to have a drink while waiting on my friend to arrive. So I went to the bar which was not that busy. There were 2 people on the side where where he was serving. I waited patiently until he finished serving them their orders. After they left Im the only one standing there. He didnt even once look up to acknowledge me. Then the DJ called him over and he made a drink for the DJ. As hes doing that, more people walked up to the bar, then he serves one of them so I started waving my had at him which he ignores. He then serves the young lady that was behind that guy. At this point I verbalized my frustration by shouting HEY! IM NOT INVISIBLE! to which he replied no, youre not invisible then mumbled something about Brooklyn. I couldnt hear what he said exactly, but I stood there for a couple minutes then decided that this establishment will not receive a single cent of my money. And I hope his superiors read this. His attitude is very horrible.
First off, island vibes. Inside, at least. Outdoor back patio is open until 11pm and just a chill spot to relax if you like. Indoors, the lights are low and Caribbean music illuminates the space. I ordered the spicy margarita, three times. Its delicious and just the right amount of spice. Nice late night weekday spot.
Most excellent time at this bar!!!!!! The drinks were great, food was on point and people were fun. Very mixed group of folks (black and white).Reggae music was great too. Bartenders are cool, but it takes a minute to get seen and get a drink so order 2 at a time LOL.I cannot wait to return for a second time :)
I’m not sure if this establishment is under new management but my last experience does not make me want to set foot in here again, not even for water.Last night a friend and I came and was interested in sitting in the backyard. We were told there was a wait and had to put our names on the waiting list, which we did. Moments later a group of 8 walks in and was taken to the backyard. They didn’t have a reservation and was not put on the waiting list. When we approached the staff they seemed confused and asked if we were on the waiting list (which he had just placed us on less than 10 minutes before). He then proceeds to give an excuse that did not suffice as to why we were not escorted to the back but a group of 8 was. To provide more context, there was not a private event this night and it was a normal Friday evening.I have no desire to return. It was fun while it lasted.
Bartenders are great! Very attentive. The DJ was playing some great music. I wish this one guy would have left me alone. I came there alone and wanting to wind down and listen to music. He kept hounding me about buying me a drink. I finally let him. He wouldnt leave me the whole night. He was very irritating. I wish guys would stop that. Screwed up my who night. He had no personality at all. And kept the guys WITH personality from speaking to me. I hated it! But love the place.
Super dope music, mostly reggae all night. Backyard closes at 11pm so you better get there early to grab a table inside. Mixed crowd blacks, whites, blue! Cool vibes where everybody gets along. Drinks are strong!
This is probably one of the best bars in Brooklyn. They have reasonably priced rum cocktails, great music and a good crowd. The only thing I dont like about Lovers Rock is that it gets so blown out at night. I would probably have kept it secret if it wasnt already so popular.
Great Caribbean bar...I suggest their rum punch. The lighting plus the music plus alcohol will make you feel like youre in a club. Reasonable prices and all around friendly staff
My rating is based solely on the bars late night offerings, when Lovers Rock becomes a small, usually Caribbean and/or tropical music-themed dance hall. Get ready to sweat- at any time of year- as the windows are closed to prevent the noise from disturbing the largely residential area at night. It also gets pretty crowded as it is a somewhat unique offering for the area. The mixed drinks are neither dull nor too complicated, and the crowd is mostly of the English speaking Caribbean community, with some Black Americans, Latinos and a few hipsters (of all colors) thrown in for good measure. I am used to these elements, so it suits me, but might not be for everyone.
Was here Friday night, Its not a place to dance, but its definitely a spot to hear a tune and have a drink.....the bartender is cute and the drinks are good
If you like old school reggae this is the bar for you. Outdoor space in the back stays open until early evening. Late night its really hot inside, bar gets crowded, but friendly staff and good vibes all around.
Priced like a Manhattan cocktail served as a Brooklyn drink. You dont get what you pay for in terms of a drink. Cool concept but nothing about it screams for me to come back. Love the DJ Michelle on Thursdays which is why I went in the first place but theres nothing to really write home about. The decor is funky and unique and backyard is super spacious.Theres no food or bar snacks (at least when I went) and the staff is average. Love the name!
I went there for an event. I didnt stay long but the music was cool. I will probably visit this place again.
Cool little bar it has an outdoor area in the back if you smoke or just want to hang out and drink I hear from people thats been coming to this bar for a long time they liked the way it was when it 1st opened up to me is not that bad
Good Reggae vibes and strong rum cocktails. Usually a DJ spinning in the back with a fun crowd. Went here a few times already for a celebration and just to hear some tunes. If you havent had overproof rum, be warned.
I had a pretty bad a experience at the bar when I had to wait for 20 minutes to get my first drink. Aside from the difficulty getting drinks, its great energy inside and a completely different vibe outside. They were serving jerk chicken in the backyard and it was packed out with a bunch of groups talking intimately with each other. Ultimately, I dont see myself going back due to being ignored at the bar.
Good vibes in there but it can get crowded in a heartbeat.. a bit too small for my liking but a beautiful backyard..real nice.. all in all you come with ya lover & yall sure to enjoy or come in by yaself & ya guaranteed to meet some 1 you like. Easy going reggae vibes.. the name says it all.
The ambiance is nice and I love the front sidewalk seats. The three-stars is due to the drinks, every time I visit I’m never impressed with the drinks. They routinely leave a unpleasant tangy after taste.
Good vibe and super friendly bartenders. Chill music and a great backyard. Tasty Jamaican drinks. One of my favorite neighborhood spots.
Super chill vibe, but also really fun! The drinks are great, the staff are super kind and attentive, but also really helpful. Love going back here over and over again
Great bar with great music. The vibes are true to Brooklyn and very Caribbean.
This place is a great night time spot for beers and cocktails, especially im the summer as they have a backyard style space.Definitely a younger, whiter, and more professional vibe than most Bed-Stuy bars, but that does not take away from the ambience and it does not seem oit of place enough to be jarring.
Good music!, Nice vibe. Way to hot and stuffy. They need a better ventilation / airation going on. Maybe open the door. It feels like sauna. Drinks a good, a lil pricey. $12 for rum punch.
Living roomesque; youre immediately transported to the coolest spot in the Caribbean even if youre still in bk-also;Josh is the best general manager in the game!!
Very nice environment, awesome backyard where u can smoke, lovely music especially the reggae segments..only downside is the space is too cramped, come out early because ur basically going to be standing on each other....but besides the space being to small its a great place to have fun.
The music WAS great... The VIBE WAS nice ... HOWEVER; my first experience was sullied by the fact that an older man at the bar VOMITED on me😢😑😟😳😰😣... ((Total PTSD to this day)) they dont seem to have a capacity cap...((that was scary... )) I may go again STILL... The VIBE was that NICE...
Really fun place! Gets pretty loud but not annoyingly so. Very tasty drinks. Good wait staff. Excellent atmosphere.
Place was great. Love the backyard. But the bartender charged my card 3 times fpr drinks i already had. I tried many attempts to explain but he wasnt having it. To sum it up. Place is great. The particular caucasion bar tender needs tp be fired.
Great spot for Friday or Sat vibes. If you are looking for a reggae/dancehall vibe its definitely a spot to check out. Its a bit on the smaller side so I suggest early arrival as it can get crowded.
Weird vibe, undrinkable cocktails. Old limes in the drink, bad flavors… been a long time since I left a cocktail half-drunk
Beautiful Babylon, is what I call this place! Excellent mix of reggae, R&B and hip hop that attracts one of the more eclectic and culturally diverse mix of people Ive seen at a bar in a while. Not to mention attractive! The usual selection of beers (Heineken, red stripe, Corona, etc.) and wines, and the bar tenders are pretty good at curating cocktails. Theres a decidedly bohemian feel to the place that has come to symbolize modern day Brooklyn over the last few years. Definitely worth checking out!
Don’t bother. Not organized with tabs, gave me back the wrong card back, no apologies very rude about the whole thing for no reason (even though I had made it all the way to my house and had to take a $16 cab back just for that) and charged an unauthorized tip. Do note this was the second time I go there, you are not missing out.
My favorite chill out spot.. The vibe is phenomenal. If youre a Caribbean national looking for a West Indian party this is the place to be. Afro-Caribbean music all night long.
It was my first time going. A friend and I got there about 11 and was able to snag one seat at the bar and maybe 20 minutes got another together. No cover when we got there. There are about three small two seater tables in the front which were already taken. By 12 there was a nice crowd. Small place but enough to get around. The drinks were average price and pretty good. I had their version of Malibu and pineapple which was 10, what I usually pay. There were three bartenders who were pretty attentive. Music was good for the most part except the DJ cut to the next song just as you getting into it. Mainly Reggae and a splash of Soca and a handful of popular songs of different genres. The only turn off was the female bartender had a stare down with one of the patrons when she threw away the remainder of her drink in the bottle without asking. The bartender explained there wasnt much in the bottle but the patron wasnt pleased and they had an actual stare down until the bartender broke it. She should have just apologized and called it a day. It also closes at 2 which maybe due to the location which is mainly residential. But I had a good time and would return again.
Unique and refreshing drinks in a laid back atmosphere. The backyard is very green and welcoming. It would be a great place to host a private party.
Love the vibes in there. Music, the drinks are great. Not too expensive to get in.
If youre looking for lovers rock youve come to the wrong place. Drinks are good but the dj doesnt know how to mix music. Also it was over 100 degrees in there. No air conditioning and one little fan in the back that hardly works.
Unique mixed drinks at the bar, a plus. Music on weekends is reggae and dancehall! :) There is a backyard. The down side is it can get quite crowded and hence a wait at the door til people inside come out.
It used to be a great place for dancing to reggae...now that its has been renovated the place sucks ...there is barely any space! Super sad! It was the last good place to enjoy and move to some reggae music.
Spot is lowkey tight inside on a Friday. But the dancehall music people worth the vibe up in here. Just find you a little corner and vibe. - signed Jamsican
My friends and I went to lovers rock on Saturday and it was horrible. The place smelled like fish, music was just bad. We couldnt stay for a second because it was gross. It was my first time going there and definitely my last.
Amazing neighborhood hangout....Excellent DJ, sweet and professional staff, decent crowd...btw, reasonably priced drinks! A place to be on Tuesdays if you enjoy listening to Sade😘....Lovers Rock is a great place to rock the night away👌🏾!!!
Lovers Rock is an interesting bar within Bed-Stuy. Everyone is welcome. Theres a great mix of locals and newcomers to the area, as well as a good mix of young and old. The music varies from each night, but I go for the old school Caribbean jams. The drinks arent expensive and the bartenders are great. Very unique spot in Bed-Stuy.
I loved the music at this location for the first time being there. The place was a bit crowded and the fun was cut short due to, too much people entering after my boyfriend and I took a breather outside for a few minutes. I will return again a next time.
One of the few places in BK still consistently playing reggae
Nice spot. Good vibes, good drinks and great music. Dame is the best bartender in NYC
Nice dive bar. Will always go back.
It was reggae night when I went. The music was great, drinks were really good. It got nice and packed, lots of great energy & best of all open until 4.
Ive been going here for years. Anytime someone wants to go to Manhattan for a night out, tell them to shut up and go here. Great music, good vibez, fair priced alcohol, and people dancing, what more could you ask for?
Went there for my close friends bday. It was a small cozy dance pub. Didnt drink much. But danced nicely thanks to a good DJ. :)
MY FIRST TIME LAST WEEK. ITS A NICE CARIBBEAN ATMOSPHERE. I LOVE THE DJ FOR A COMFY PLACE HE PLAYED ALL TYPE OF MUSIC. MY ONLY SOUR TASTE WAS THEY NEED MORE FANS OR AC TO ACCOMODATE THE CROWD. AND THE BARTENDERS A LITTLE SWIFT SOMETIMES YOU WAIT A WHILE TO GET SERVE BUT I LOVE THE PLACE STILL
I didnt really get a chance to go on a busy night. I came on a Tuesday and the place was pretty nice not pack but you can tell that this place gets pack on fridays and Saturdays. oh by the way dont worry about all the funny people standing outside they never come inside.
Immaculate vibes, this is a Black & brown space and everyone is so sexy because of it. I lost my mind from the drinks
The drinks are made well here, but theres no bar snacks (ie wings, nachos, etc.). However, the atmosphere makes up for it. This is a great place to socialize.
Music was A1 by DJ this dude playing the illest tunes but my homegirl was trying to compliment him and he caught an attitude. But imma try here again on another lit night. Bartenders were SUPER cool I give her props she did her thang. Dj should be more friendly you have regulars complimenting you and your answering them with this cocky attitude its a turn off.
I literally landed from MoBay, Jamaica and Stop here while I had a overnight 14hrs layover! Enjoyed the drinks, the people, and music!! Vibes 🔥🔥🇧🇿🎬 Highly Recommend!!
Came here for a friend’s birthday party. Amazing authentic African live drum beats to dance to
Well its just a bit overcrowded for me..having to stand up the whole time is the worst part...the music is great though, lot of Caribbean and a lil afrobeats..but best to go during summer time
What a great place! This was recommended to us on a tiki bar crawl of Brooklyn and was such a delight. Great Jamaican drinks!
Amazing place, great vibes. Just a bit too tight for my personal taste. I need more room to dance.
This is a rare & v special place. The cocktails are wonderful. You can dance. Everyone is made welcome. You can get whatever you want.
Very good vibe and music... the drinks were mixed really well. Thursdays and Friday nights check it out.
Ive had fun here but lately its been pretty terrible. Its always packed and barely anyone dances. The vibe in general is strange. Its also pretty dirty.
Loved the mixture of reggae music. Diverse crowd, great drinks and awesome vibes. Always love coming here when I can.
1st time going and it was a real chill spot. Nice women to men ratio. Nice music. Great older crowd. Women are friendly. I will be going back .
Vibes are always memorable at Lovers. One of my best spots in bedstuy.
Great drink deals, even better music and dancing. Their jerk chicken nights are the best to be enjoyed in the warmer months on the back patio.
Cute local hangout with a medium sized backyard. Drinks were reasonably priced. Vibe was chill and informal.
Music was good. Matthew our bartender was great! Wished the outdoor area stayed open later. Closes at 11pm.
The music is popping, nice flow by the DJ. I stayed only for a minute, because I couldnt get to the bar. But I would like to visit again for the full experience.
Dive In Bar with great Roots n Reggae vibes! Great cocktail drinks! Their Pain Killer was so good!
Cool spot to chill, listen to some reggae, have a drink and then turn up if you so choose. One of the few places Ive come across where you can do that with a smart, hip crowd.
This is not a bad place for a drink and dancing. Its a local spot with good drinks and a nice atmosphere. The DJ plays very good music.
The only laid back bar in the area, in my opinion. I cannot wait to go back. The atmosphere is nice and relaxing and the happy hour is wonderful.
Amazing music and friendly vibe but extremely cozy (small space). If you dont mind being close to everyone next to you, I would highly recommend.
Feels like a small place because its always crowded but always good vibes & dancing. Expect to hear reggae all night.
Love the places like this with backyards. Seems more relaxing and homey. Tables a bit dirty but cheap drinks and close to home.
Nice low key bar that gets really crowded on the weekends. Definitely enjoy the reggae vibes and the rum punch is yum!
Cool place to vybe and listen to oldies music while having a few drinks with friends or partner!!
The atmosphere is very warm and friendly. Nice homey vibe. Island classic drinks and great food.
You can smoke in the backyard 10/10 strong drinks too
Trendy crowd on a Friday night. Small, which lends itself to becoming quite hot as the night progresses. Good reggae music tho.
The bartender Shaa is dope af. Good vibes all around.
Space was tight but music and vibe is great!
Small drinks but delicious and very friendly staff. Backyard also for when it is nice out.
Great vibes, low key but comforty feeling. Always in enjoy myself there and when DJing there always a nice crowd.
Laid back smooth music Good vibes Good food. Nice outside ambiance
Good vibes, charming spot with outdoor space. Youll definitely work up a sweat dancing & have fun doing it.
Good crowd, a bit narrow for dancing. Shame they do t ipen the back for a breeze.
Mediocre, bartenders make okay drinks. There is a $10 cover charge. You cant go back outside unless you pay again.
Great venue. Love the vibe, music and drinks. Excellent for weekend hanging out.
Of your into west Indian music this is the spot. Nice vibe but alittle on the smaller side. Would definitely go back.
Bartender wasnt friendly but always love the vibes and music from lovers rock
Reggae spot in Brooklyn
Small bar with amazing music... be prepared to squeeze in and have a good time.
Amazing spot !!! Fun , lively and great Dj !!Drinks are on point !!!
Overall cool looking venue but not particularly busy
Cool hang out - although sadly the outdoor garden has to close at 11pm. Strong drinks and cheap beers!
Went here one night while club hopping . Nice music and the bathroom had a very nice design/graffiti
The side dishes can be a meal of its own, loved the option of smaller size dishes. Great vibe as well
This is the painkiller. Its great drink, very tropical. Great for chatting on a Saturday night or by the beach..
Great music, people and vibes but be warned it gets extremely hot in there!
This place is awesome for drinks and music but it can be a little bigger it get way to crowded and dancing its hard
Very quaint with good drink prices, but not enough dancing space
Great atmosphere...great prices! Awesome vibes..and diverse crowd. I love it!!
Says its open on Mondays but has been closed the last two Mondays I went. Wasted cab fare.
Great dancing spot. No cover. Music selection diverse. Will visit frequently
Cool spot! Excited this place just opened in the neighb. Good music and drinks. Ill be back.
Watered down overpriced drinks. & It’s hot as hell in there. & the music sucks too. Lol
I enjoyed an event that was hosted there, it was PACKED! Which they opened the patio to allow cool air in.
Music was okay...but it is like a sweat box...not enough ac in there....bathroom disgusting
Good if you are into dancing but gets to crowded after they close the back.
Chill night. Drinks are expensive because Bed-Stuy. But if you want to have a chill night you can go sit at the bar. Or you can choose to go to the backyard
Vibezzzz..... DJ was fire ... Extremely hot and compacted inside if youre vibing correctly.
Cozy spot with an amazing vibe and music. Can get really crowded and uncomfortable late nights.
Bartender have a. Nasty attitude the short chunky 1 i ordered grey goose with cranberry juice she charged me $2 for a splash of juice crazy
Great music, vibe, garden, bartenders, happy hour, cocktails. By far my favorite neighborhood bar.
Reggae bar in bedstuy with incredible tunes, rum cocktails, and a big backyard. attracts a fun crowd.
Pure reggae vibes drinks a bit pricey No food but good music and the backyard is awesome so eat b4 u go lol
Great tunes and fire drinks. Backyard has plenty of trees. Great atmosphere.
Great music, great crowd, fully stocked bar, and cool bartenders.
Drinks are always good, music is always amazing, energy is always free and bartenders are always friendly!
Lovers rock time from memory days and nights. Vibes was plentiful. Nuff entertaining. Respect !!
Met some very lovely people while hanging out here. Nice place with a lovely backyard.
Eclectic crowd. Nice up tempo music. So many interesting liquors
Luv the vibes and energy at this venue. The bartenders and staff delivers great service also
Its a good spot to relax music is good and the drinks are decent
Great music cute girls of all races, drinks are cheaper than other places
Good music and ppl! Must go again soon.
Nice little spot. Too much ice in drinks. . .watered down.
Once vibes and atmosphere. Could use a slight better drink menu...
Chill with people spot. Limited spacing but still a good place to come and have a good time.
Go hear! Good empanadas! Cheap to and the backyard is really relaxing. Good vibes.
Great vibes and music on Saturdays. Highly recommend trying this place out.
Some of Bedstuy best place to be. Good vibes, nice bartenders, and the people are diverse.
Really crowded. There was a wait to get in. Get there before 11. Great music!
It was cute. I would like to see how it is during an event and then reformulate my opinion.
Always good vibes strong drinks good music
Nice vibes. Great drinks. Totally recommend
It was a bit hood on a Friday night. I was invited there by a date.
This place might have got 4 stars if it wasnt for a certain woman bartender there; and the drinks are okay.
Favorite and best bar in all of bed stuy! PERIODT
Great music and atmosphere for true reggae lovers only.
Great music and drinks and perfect vibe
Rum punch not the best but Reggae amazing
Lovers Rock is a gem of bedstuy. These carribean style drinks keep me coming back.
Great music and great drink options!
Lit spot, gets popping after 9, good drinks, good vibes
Guy on the inside with dreads is so disrespectful. Never going back.
The Dj is awesome, but the only thing its too crowded and the place is very hot..
Went for reggae night, was a blast. Lots of beautiful ladies.
Nice spot, good music. Parking biggest hassle but both it.
Good vibe on a Friday night, only downside is that the area is too small
