When people say this is a neighborhood bar, its true. Everyone here generally knows one another. I would say from either socializing or the event they have throughout the week etc. It really does have a community vibe. Always a good time here! Also, the Bartenders Mark, Mark and Bernard are freaking awesome men, they are prompt, social and very aware of whats happening throughout the night. Sweet men!

I go every Tuesday for karaoke. David and Nelson are amazing! It’s a fun night and it’s poppin! Really breaks up the week.I feel like I’ve really found my family there and I feel so welcomed every week.

Nice quiet bar. Went on a Friday night just before Christmas. The bartender was very nice, drinks were good, people seemed nice. Id go back.

I consider myself a Manhattan connoisseur. At my recent visit, the bartender made it so well I didnt even ask for alterations. Usually I ordere my Manhattan like some people order their half caf, half soy, medium warm, grande latte with extra whipped cream.It was perfect!This is not just a beer and a shot joint.

The bartenders are awesome here and can not express my gratitude towards them. If you are in San Jose definitely stop bye for a drink!

What a fun visit! The karaoke crowd was friendly, & the bartender Bernard made us feel very welcome.

Saturday nights are fun.

There are only four parking spots. No offstreet parking unless it’s around the dark corner where no one parks. I walked in during karaoke and the DJ was talking about Wednesday nights and how women are not allowed because it’s an all men event. I was the only woman there So right off the bat I did not feel welcomed. Cute patio but only 10 people inside - 1 woman out of 9 guys. Their cheapest beer is a $7 pbr….i wont be back. Such a small bar like the red stag.

Great bar, great people very welcoming to new people and part of the community. Quality staff that keep things clean but casual, thanks guys for a great night. Its not easy having fun solo but I had no problem here.

I love this place from Carlos to Louis both guys are great and make me feel at home. On a serious note the bar is small and parking is very limited but you can always park across the street in San Jose Market place of the car wash and it’s safe without being towed

Small and cozy. Drag show was awesome, drinks were good. Bartenders are generally nice and cute. I had a incident where they took cash and forgot instantly what it was for. Making us pay double, so hold onto your money before you get a drink! Outside space for smokers. Attracts bears/Cubs more

Was in San Jose on business and this bar was right around the corner from my hotel. Nice place, parking a bit of a challenge. Cash only...so glad I had cash. Stayed for a couple of drinks and then back to the hotel. Would definitely stop in again next time Im in the area.

I have been coming to Renegades for years (since it was in the old location, in fact), and it never disappoints. Now I work here. Our customers come from a variety of groups across gender and orientation spectrums. Sometimes its quiet and you have the chance to get to know your fellow patrons, and sometimes its so busy you can barely get up to the bar. Trousers down every third Saturday of the month, basically you get to run around in a sexy jockstrap. Its really fun, lots of eye candy and lots of being eye candy. 😇

Good local place to relax, smoking patio out back. Ok not great drink prices. Great friendly staff. Limited parking, mostly out front. Had a movie playing in the background. Picks up a bit more at night, casual. Cash only.

I was just there to visit and see the drag show which was great. So as I was sitting inside I was told to buy a drink or leave and was told that I was Loitering which I had to pay $5 to get in which I did and then get told that I just left will never go back to this Establishment.

I really want to give this place a much better rating but the lack of water is just offensive. If you are going to host a furry event you need to serve free water, it is dangerous to do otherwise. I dont think Ill be going back until the situation is fixed.

Very diverse, very people friendly and always a sense of fun and excitement happening. Luis is one of the nicest, most open minded people I know. Great bar for most occasions.

I visited San Jose,CA and was looking for a place to have a few drinks. Amazing bartender, very friendly and attentive to everyone.

This is basically the only bar I ever go to around here. Its my favorite bar and honestly its the bar staff and the patrons and the great drinks and specials that keep me coming back.

Awesome little hole in the wall spot with good drinks, fun patrons and friendly staff. Highly recommend.

Luis is a great host, with a great staff and a comfortable atmosphere! Woo Woo Monroe brings the entertainment and Trousers Down is drafty fun.
