Massage Envy

I was visiting from a different state and visited this location. I get massages regularly. Angie gave me the best massage I have ever had. She is clearly so passionate about helping people. I felt so much pain relief after the massage. The front office staff was great as well.

Great visit. I got a fantastic Fathers Day present and got a professional deep tissue massage from NIKKO a male CMT. Kiona at the front desk was also great and informative on my appointment. She was funny and professional with her customer service. First time going there and I will be making my monthly visit that this old body of mine needs. Facility is pretty new and very accommodating to all of us that are Physically challenged. Nikko worked my neck and back and shoulders and leg and foot and helped me feel like a new dude. If you are ever in San Jose Ca. visiting or spending time on some business and need a great deep tissue massage. Go and see Nikko at this Massage Envy. They are in a big shopping plaza called the Plant. Many stores and restaurants to go after your visit.I like the option of choosing a membership to help us that are in a budget. Overall prices were as expected. Helping my body feel this good after my visit was worth it. I decided to join the 1 year membership to save some money and use the massage visits on my demand once or twice a month will cost me less than not being a member.

Ive received massages from a few different masseuses here and Angela T. is by far the best. Ive received the best massages Ive ever gotten from her. She works out all of my knots perfectly with the perfect amount of pressure and doesnt overly use lotion/oil (I hate when you come out of a massage a slick mess). She is the best massage therapist Ive ever seen and I would highly recommend her to everyone. I almost dont want to because its already hard enough getting an appointment with her but I need to sing her praises. Shes simply the best!

Cindy Chen is my favorite masseuse; however, there are almost equal levels of massage therapists at the Plant location. The staff is helpful and friendly. My appointments start and end on time. Cindy is knowledgable, friendly, and listens to what parts of your body require her focus. Her technique is excellent, and she always pays attention to the pressure. I have been injured by other therapists in the past, but I have not experienced that with Cindy.

I had a massage from Tom. Hands down the best massage I have ever had. His awareness of the human body is absolutely incredible. I came in with a few sore spots and he worked everything out. If you haven’t had a massage from Tom at the massage envy on curtner (the plant) do yourself the favor and do it now!!!

This location, The Plant in San Jose is one of the BEST in the area. Their massage therapists are excellent, the front desk staff are helpful and the facility is comfortable. Highly recommend.

I scheduled for a 60 minute deep tissue massage with CBD and pain relief muscle cream but I got a 90 minute massage and neither cream. But the front desk receptionists were nice and didn’t charge me for the creams and credit it towards my next massage! That was nice.

Massage was very good you can tell they’re professionals. But careful an an “one hour” massage here is only 50 minutes or less.Store policy is to stop 5 minutes early and have 5 minutes for you to undress. It’s my first time here and my appointment was at 3:30 pm and they asked me to wait in the lobby but they didn’t come get me till 3:40pm. but they stopped it at 4:25pm according to store policy so I only had like a 45 minute massage. It’s a great massage but I can’t help but feel taken advantage of

I can usually get an appointment pretty quickly at the Massage Envy at The Plant. I seem to always call last minute, and yet I can still get booked in a day or two. I like to try different therapists, although I do have my favorites.

Jessica at The Plant location is AMAZING!! Her technique is so soothing and relieved nearly all the pain I walked in with. I wasnt even sore the next day, which usually happens after a massage. I highly recommend her. Massage Envy in general has been a lifesaver. I can get in same day most of the time and can easily schedule massages and other services on the app.

Ive been coming here for the last 6 years, and Cindy has been my go to massage therapist. Although this was my second time with Tom, I can safely say that Tom is also a great massage therapist that provides deep tissue massages. Highly recommend Cindy and tom…. Cindy moved away now I only have Tom. 😭

It was a nice massage but very unevenly proportioned in time. I am also a CMT and the same amount of time should have been spent on both sides of the body. The therapist needs to work on this inside her routine.

The front desk staff is wonderful. I always feel like I am special and welcome when I go. Vanessa is great she tailors my message each timeso that the body parts that are bothering me get the attention they need.

The woman who did my massage was very kind. The front desk girls were very helpful & sweet. I had a few issues though.We got 2 .60 min massages. I filled out the iPad before hand specifying which areas of my body I wanted them to focus on although I still wanted a full body massage., it didn’t seem that they paid any attention to the info we’re were asked to give before hand about our health & preferences . I said I want to focus on my head/jaw (because of TMJ that I also stated on there file) and my back ,hands and feet. I let the therapist know I really needed my face/jaw massaged, but she told me I wasn’t in the right position for that and never had me adjust. So sadly she never did massage my jaw. Then when she was massaging my arms/shoulder she literally scratched the heck out of me so deep with her nail. So hard it left a big scratch . I understand mistakes happen. But I also asked for her to massage my back arms hands. But She only did my upper back. She also mentioned several times I needed a LOT more sessions to be fixed. I felt she was trying to get ME to buy more sessions before I had even finished THIS massage. Also they stopped 8 minutes early. It just wasn’t a great first impression.

My masseuse Tom was not very good. I asked for a male masseuse because I was hoping to get some good pressure on my back after a tough weekend with back pain. I feel like I could have given a much better massage than he gave. There were points were he was just rubbing my muscles too deep and hurting me. I ended up quite bruised after my massage with no real relief to what I asked him to focus on. The facility is very clean but not much in the way of amenities. The session was very affordable so I guess you get what you pay for.

I loved Elizabeth, she is very friendly and knows her job well, my face felt wonderful after my facial.

The facial mircoderm was great experience. Table warm, I felt comfortable and happy when I left. I loved the red light therapy and Sona was great she made my skin look better. I appreciate that they had Marini products in stock to purchase. Womens bathroom was clean and the place had a nice feeling and very quiet. The front desks rep were patience with explaining to how the memebership works and tservices. Busy parking lot but I as able to find parking that was very close to MV. Feedback 1: for all their employees not just the Front desk to smile more: smiles are free, customers can feel and see a smile through an employee mask :)!! Secondly a friendly suggest for front desk to be more informative on all of their facial services they provide :). I would definitely will come again to the MV at the Plant and Sona.

First time and was surprised at how good the practitioner was. Excellent firm massage. Found all the knots and worked through them very well!Second time different practitioner, just as excellent!

I went in for a massage last week and I had my 90 minute massage with Cindy. She was very nice and sweet. I personally don’t like a lot of deep tissue type massages but I had many knots by the shoulder/back/neck area. So I told her firm is okay just to get the knots out however I don’t like too much pressure. Not going to lie I had to do a lot of deep breathing lol bc I don’t tolerate pain too well. And I did feel sore the next day from it BUT I do feel a lot better after the soreness went away. She really does take out those nasty knots but I’m not going to sugar coat it lol it might be painful or uncomfortable at first. But I would suggest her but if your like me let her know your pain tolerance before she starts bc she definitely works more on the deep tissue spectrum verses a “relaxing massage.” So just a heads up. But honestly I was willing to go through discomfort bc I had alot of tension in those areas, so I personally did need that. Overall I’ve had very pleasant experience going to massage envy thus far.

Kels was amazing! Asked lot of question to be able to know more about my body so he knew how to help me. He was so good I bought a membership and booked another appointment for 3 weeks. He has helped me so much with my pain relief,

Great massage treatments. Staff are excellent. Relaxing quiet room. One suggestion - repair water machine for hot tea.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoy the location, decor, atmosphere, and massage experts. We go every 4-5 weeks, and each time it is a great experience. We highly recommend it and there are great stores and restaurants around it, too.

Great experience. Girls at the desk were friendly and efficient. Tom gave me a great massage and tailored it around my injured shoulder. I’ll be back soon.

I never had a professional massage before. I felt so pampered and so respected, lots of gentle questions about my comfort and the pressure of the massage. It was pricey for my wallet but def something worth treating myself to.

My full body deep tissue massage was amazing. My masseuse Amanda really did a good job.She focused on all the knots on my back.

I had gotten a 1hr basic massage. The massage it self was not work $145. They don’t even go for the full hour either.

Cindy is AMAZING!!! The best deep tissue massage i’ve ever gotten! Be warned, if you ain’t about that TRUE deep tissue massage life, let it be known haha 10/10!!!

Their therapist are so rule bound and the massages are somewhat regimented, most of them with 5 years or under experience. Depends on your views of massage. For my view its average-just enough. They do all all the right questions up front and once on the table it tends toward the same old massage no matter what you specify. My personal filter is trying to adapt to so personal a health care service becoming so corporately bland. Sigh

I had Andy as a massage therapist, he was excellent! He knew exactly where I had the most trouble, and went right to work with helping me and making sure I had better range of motion. I am so thankful. I will definitely be back!

I ordered a deep tissue massage, this was one of the most painful hours of my life. As this was the first massage I have received I didnt know what to expect. I probably wouldnt return at least not ordering a deep tissue massage. It did help with my back pain for about a day but the relief didnt last long

I always have a great experience here. I recently tried my first hot stone massage here and loved it. Tom is great!

I signed up for a membership in February and pay every single month, they even gave me a certificate for a free massage for signing up. According to massage envy if you don’t use your massage or facial each month it rolls over to the next month, I’m super busy and I never have time for myself so that was a must for me otherwise it would’ve been a waste of my money. I reached out to them because I had a massage at the plant massage envy after I sent an email a lady named Penny called me back, she said she wanted to offer me a 90 minute massage didn’t mean I had to continue with my membership she just wanted to do that for me, I knew it was a lie I knew it was her way of just brushing me off just like everybody else who works there. When I got my massage there I told the girl at the front that I needed a list of other massage therapist so that maybe I can pick somebody else next time because I didn’t get the services I asked for at that appointment, The girl the front desk clearly wasn’t paying attention to me because she wrote down the name of the girl that gave me my massage, hello I just said I had an issue with her. Penny tried to convince me that this massage therapist was great she said maybe she was just having a bad day, I’m sorry I don’t work my butt off so that I could get mediocre service is when I pay every single month, anyways I went for the 90 minute massage and it was relaxing but it wasn’t what I asked for again, it was almost like the lady didn’t understand my English or what I was asking for because I kept saying firm and she kept saying soft no firm a little softer LOL I finally just gave up and lay there and let her massage me just so I could get out of there. By the way this was a few weeks ago and I text Penny for her email address because I didn’t want to flood her cell phone number which she gave me and she never responded weeks ago, I kind of expected that since everybody else that I ran across has been unprofessional and really act like they don’t care about their customers, when I signed up they were really Nice and happy to take my money, I’ve had one massage and I signed up in February with a free massage you do the math oh yeah and by the way when I went to get my first massage there I also got a facial since I was supposed to have three rolled over, guess what Yep you got it I paid for my facial, incredible highway robbery I couldn’t believe it, I also told Penny all of this information but again I guess no one just seems to care, it’s been almost a month And I gave them ample opportunity so now I’m writing a review hopefully people will check out the places they go to before they give money and sign up for memberships... shame shame shame
