Zen Massage Therapy

Walked into Zen Massage Therapy last Tuesday. Friendly front desk staff greeted right away. Pricing very reasonable with a chart to circle “focus” areas for the masseuse “excellent touch”. Profoundly clean floors walls and rooms with a serene lavender backdrop. My 1 hour Swedish was 5 stars. Pressure perfect, music nice and I never wanted to leave. Definitely will come back and try all the masseuses. Possibly join membership next time.

Exceptionally hygienic with serene zen music playing while you lay on a nice clean bed. They give you a focus sheet to fill out prior to your massage, which is awesome. No doubt this masseuse is professional and certified in her technique. I found my go to massage spa in south San Jose! Highly recommended…….

I went for a deep tissue massage and she released the knots in my back really well. The one thing I didn’t like about this place is that the lady at the front desk kept telling me to be a member and the membership says if you don’t get a massage every month they will deduct money from your card . I also gave her tips, said thank you but she asked for more tips and said ok not good don’t come back. I also had to pay the amount before the massage even started and this is the first place that’s made me pay before the massage .

I was then escorted to my room and given clear directions in preparation for my massage therapists arrival.Linda, my masseuse, possessed remarkably strong and skilled hands. While I had indicated my focus areas at the front desk, Linda identified three knots in my back that needed attention, whereas I was only aware of one tight spot.After my massage, I thanked Linda and got dressed. She kindly awaited me in the lobby with a refreshing glass of water. It was then that I decided to inquire about their membership options. I can easily envision myself becoming a regular customer, coming in monthly for either a deep tissue or a relaxing Swedish massage. The receptionist was very informative, mentioning that all necessary information is accessible online, making the process even more convenient.I cant believe I didnt discover this hidden gem sooner. Zen Massage Therapy exudes an ambiance of cleanliness and professionalism without the extravagant trappings often associated with large spas. Its a no-nonsense place where you can simply get your massage and head home. Sometimes, thats exactly what I need—efficient and effective relaxation without dedicating half my day to spa activities. In fact, Ive already booked an appointment for my mother this upcoming weekend.If youre seeking a place where you can unwind, rejuvenate your body and mind, and appreciate a straightforward approach to massage therapy, then Zen Massage Therapy is the ideal destination. Its conveniently located in a pleasant shopping center, making it easy to find and access.

It’s good but not better that Kelly’s massage at Mountain View .. but again better place to have massage at San Jose so far I have experienced. Price is but high 75$ for one dollar and then tips. I had massage from miss Wendy, she is good but she can give more pressure l.. since I like deep tissue with high pressure . Hygienic place , with good environment

Very mid🫳(mediocre) massage💆‍♂️.I dont think Id be coming back anytime soon.It felt good but nothing special.I do like the membership idea!Cbd oil is highly recommended; they allow you to take home the rest if they dont use it all during the massage 💆‍♂️.Staff were friendly, dont like how they have a board showing suggested tips, but nowadays, with everyone trying to be cheap, I dont blame them.Etiquette is dying along with manners & common sense.Appreciate the massage at the last minute

I had a great experience here. I arrived 15 minutes early and they were able to start on me early so I don’t have to wait. The receptionist in the front was really friendly. The masseuse was really friendly too. I had the hour essential oil and hot stone massage. It was good and relaxing. The pressure she used was enough for me but I’m pretty small. I’d definitely return and recommend others to give this place a try.

This was my first ever professional massage so I really didnt know what to expect. I booked a 90 minute deep tissue massage for the various knots in my shoulders, lower back, and calves. I booked a month in advance because Im usually busy. They give frequent and helpful reminders for your appointment as it draws near.When you enter to check in you pay before your session and indicate which parts of the body need more attention. Youll then be guided to your room, which is cozy, dimly lit, with soothing music playing. Theres hooks for your clothes and a shelf for glasses and other small items.My therapist was SUNNY and she was WONDERFUL. Im not very social which wasnt an issue for our session. She checked in periodically on pressure but otherwise she knew exactly where needed attention without me even having to say anything. The pressure was perfect for me but if youre sensitive just give some feedback and they will adjust.If youre looking for a place for a clean and quality massage. I highly recommend going to Zen Massage Therapy.

This place is amazing! It’s super close to where my parents live so headed there with my mom to check it out. We both did a 60 min hot stone massage and compared to other spots, this one was pretty affordable at 75 bucks. The only negative is the walls between massage rooms are pretty thin so you can hear everything, even the front desk. This is not too big of a deal and after a while the massage is so nice you can block it out. For the price I think you’re getting what you paid for and it’s definitely worth checking out!

Thanks Angie for a great deep tissue massage! At first I was afraid that it might hurt cause the pressure is more compared to the swedish. But it was good and very relaxing, no pain at all

Best deep tissue massage I had in Bay Area so far. I used to do a lot massage in Asia, including treatment, and I can tell if a therapist is good or not, the lady (probably the owner?) who did massage for me was really good！

It was the first time I received a massage, so I was nervous and shy but Renae is very professional, she make me feel confident and relaxing.The place is clean and peaceful since you enter.The prices are fairI definitely will book another appointment.My appointment went at 8:00pm for an hour, so I just came home ready to have a restfully night 💤💤💤

I have 90 minutes massage from Richard and I have to say this is the best massage i’ve ever had.his technique was great plus hot towels that cooperated with the massage feel amazing

I made an appointment because I had a pinched nerve and my upper back, neck and shoulder were so painful. My masseuse was Crystal. She was good and worked the areas where I had the most pain. She was professional and very friendly. After the deep tissue massage I felt so much better. The establishment itself is very relaxing, clean, and, the lighting and music was great. The website is also very user friendly. I will definitely be coming back.

Massage was reallly good, I ended up buying some bundle. It was worth it. Bathroom is spotless and beds smell fresh as you’d expect. I think the receptionist was very helpful and pleasant to talk to.

My husband and I were in town and did a couples massage with Krystal and Fei. Both massage therapists did an amazing job! It was a relaxing Swedish massage, but they also did some deeper pressure work on the areas we asked. Thank you!!

I was in a lot of pain, muscle spasm or something in my traps and shoulder blade. I was able to book online and get in within couple hours. The massage helped a lot! Very clean, inviting setting. I will definitely be back.

Walked in 11:45am, and booked for 12:30. Received confirmation text 11:51 for my appointment with Linda. I leave to wait in my car, and return 12:25 only for front desk to notify me they’ve given up my place in line.And they follow up with a text saying i didn’t show up.

Renee gave me an excellent deep tissue massage and everyone here was very friendly. It was very clean and I will definitely be a returning customer!
