Communication was very challenging when booking. The language barrier interfered with the smooth process of preparing for the massage as well as form of payment- she prefers cash. The facilities are very informal as well- however she gave a great massage. I was skeptical at first due to many off putting details but she definitely is a great masseuses. She’s very intuitive and was really abel to target areas that needed adjustments and deep tissue work. If your looking for a fancy experience this is not for you but if your looking for a good affordable and massage with no fluff and frills - then this place is it.

Angela did a fabulous massage on me today. Communication is a little bit hard and her place is small but very nice inside. My husband and I will be back the cost was well worth the 90 minutes we both received.

I have had 2 deep tissue massages for the neck, back and shoulders- each a 30 minute session. My experiences have been great, and I find the 30 minute deep tissue session perfect for what I need. The beds are wide and comfortable and the therapists knew exactly how to treat my neck, back, and shoulder pain. They climb onto the bed with you and use their whole body to treat you (hands elbows, arms, and feet). It’s pretty fantastic! I feel much better and I will continue to go back. Also, the location is great.

Small shop, one at a time, but an excellent massage for both my wife and me. We will be back next time we are in Santa Fe.

The best massage Ive ever had. She put me back in alignment, increased my flexibility, and erased my aches and pains. My posture is better than ever! And Angela is one of the sweetest people on the planet! Ill be back again and again.

Joanna is great! It was well worth the price point. I did a 90min session. She can put a lot of pressure if necessary which I needed for my bad back and thighs. She has great technique, the hot stones were used just right, and also put some pain medication during the massage. I really liked it and will be returning. Highly recommended.

The best Thai massage Ive ever had! I consider myself a connoisseur of Thai massage, as I have taken classes and even had many in Thailand when I was there for 2 months. Ive probably had 100 Thai massages, and this one was the best. I wish I lived in Santa Fe. I would book one with her every week!

When I pulled up to the door, I was skeptical. It’s a tiny shop, not in a traditional spa environment. BUT, I was more than pleasantly surprised. Joanna is AMAZING. One of the best massages I’ve ever had. She didn’t cut the hour to 50 minutes and the price is right. She combined hot stones, deep tissue & stretches. She knew just the spots that needed extra attention. Don’t judge a book by its cover. She is outstanding!!

Joanna gave me such a wonderful massage. After traveling from Hawaii to New Mexico and many hours of driving (which were absolutely incredible) I was beat and very sore. I wasn’t looking for a fancy spa with a expensive treatments I just wanted a good massage and Joanna gave me exactly that! I barely had to tell her what parts of my body were hurting and she was able to combine many styles of massage techniques into one healing 90 minute massage. She never used too much pressure, just enough to give me release. I haven’t been able to fully turn my neck to the left for weeks now with much stretching and yoga on my own and she relieved me. I am 26 with chronic back and neck pain and I’ve never experienced such a quick release from tension until today. Thank you Joanna, I wish I could take you back with me to Hawaii! Aloha

Wow! Joanna is a true hidden Gem whom I will always make sure to stop and see whenever I’m in town. I received the Thai massage which helped get out all my knots and stretched my body out in all the right ways.The environment is very personal and quiet for a soothing real ease of today’s time.

Came in town for a weekend getaway..Mid day didnt have anything going on and decided on a massage. This one popped up first with excellent reviews. So i decided to give it a try and it did not disappoint! Quickly made an appointment without any problems. I did the 90 minute swedish massage that lasted the full 90 minutes. Communicated very well in regards to amount of pressure used which was perfect by the way (I am a 250lb guy). Also various stretches throughout massage. I left feeling relaxed, muscles very loose, and all knots removed. Definitely recommend.. i made sure to book again for the next day... Highly Recommended

Good Morning. I had a wonderful expierence at Santa Fe Massage Asian Spa. I had some pain in my hip area and my regular theripist was unavailable. I contacted Joanne via phone and luckly she had a cancellation.I spent an hour with her. Some of her methods were not familiar to me. She guided me through the process insuring that I was comfortable. Shortly after the therapy I started to feel progress. After a good night sleep my hips were normal. Thank you Ms. Joanne. I will return in the future.

I went in tight and hurting from a recent car accident. She helped loosen all the tight spots in my shoulders neck and back. She even stretched my hips and back out. I will definitely be booking again. The Thai massage was absolutely worth it.

This business is top notch. Professional massage with great communication and quality time. Best service for the price. Definitely coming back to continue treatment. Price needs to be increased due to her magic healing. Tipped her all that I had as I walked away pleased with her work.

I showed up unexpectedly on September 11th around 12:45. She told me that she had an appointment at 2pm but that she could fit me in. When her 2pm appointment showed up 1/2 hour early she went to answer the door and politely told him that she had someone and it would be about another 20 minutes. When he started to get upset, she referred him to another place on Cerrillos where she had some friends that worked. Even though her appointment showed up ridiculously early, she didnt cut my time short which I greatly appreciate. She also extended my time for the interruption. She may have lost him as a customer but she has a new regular in me. She gives a great combination of deep tissue, stretching, and hot stone that both relaxes the back and loosens the muscles. She puts just the right amount of pressure to get deep into the muscles without it being sore for days after like Ive had with many other massages. I highly recommend her for both her quality and professionalism.

A very convenient place for a massage. Located in the heart of Santa Fe, close to everything, this gem of a spot features a private and excellent massage. The experience cant be beat, with the stress falling off your body with each stroke of the therapists hands.

If I could give 10 stars I would in a heart beat!! I had never had a professional message before and Joanna took care of me in such away that I just wanted to hug her! I was in a motorcycle accident a few years back and have massive problems with my body due to it. I did some research and found out a deep tissue message is what I needed. When I told her that she said no. I needed a relaxing message first for my first time. The deep tissue would have hurt me more then helped. I said ok and trusted her with every ounces of my being! Thank you so much for easing my body pains. I havent been able to breath right due to all the tension and after today, with magic flowing from her fingertips, I am able to take a breath without discomfort. My life forces has been renuied and my chi is in balance once again. Thank you so much for your work and the energy you put into it every second I was there!

Cured a world of hurt, I feel 2 inches taller. Expect an authentic Chinese massage. Not a spa as I imagined, in an older clean home-like setting. Actually eliminated a few visible knots located on my forearms that acupuncture and other techniques couldnt. Worked the front (stomach, abdominal) which is something you never get in traditional massages. My body feels the same as I do after yoga.Directions are at St Francis turn right at the street just before the Cerrillos intersection behind the Allstate, opposite side in the back.

I drove over an hour to get to my 1230 couples massage appointment and no one was there. Finally some sleepy, possibly drunk girl answered the door and reluctantly offered to do our massages separately. She offered no apology and smirked at us when we declined and said that wed rather have our money back. Unprofessional and a true disappointment.

What a waste of time and energy. I showed up at the scheduled massage time and was told to return in five minutes. I did just that and once again was told to return in five minutes. After doing this a couple more times I gave up and left. Completely unprofessional

Never go here. The woman I spoke to on the phone was clearly intoxicated. She said I was down for an appointment, showed up, nobody was there. Called several times during regular business hours, no answer. Even if I got in for the appointment, I wouldnt want a massage from this person.
