$10 beers.I questioned the fact that the beers were $10 after i paid for the beer along with paying $80 to get in and both all cash no cap.Within 1 min the owner sent 6 security over to escort me out and i had only been inside less than 15 min.Didnt cause a fight. Didnt push or pull anyone. Didnt tear the club up. Didnt have an issue paying. As a matter of fact i was at the third bar all by myself. No good measures of hospitality. The owners overpricing is based in racism.I was the only patron charged $10 for a beer and they did that on purpose. That was my first time there and i wont be going back.

Comedy show for friends of the performers.Maybe a couple of decent jokes between the 6 or so comedians before I couldnt take any more. One act consisted entirely of inside jokes between a few of the other performers personal relationships and then proceeded to call out the few patrons of the establishment that werent a part of their inside group!Lots of inside jokes, overpriced drinks, and a hipster crowd of early 20s who do their best to make you feel unwelcome by calling you out from the stage makes this a hard pass.

Love this place!Found out about this place through Nights of Dance for their salsa classes last year and have been taking the classes at least once a month for 6 months or so and absolutely love them! I get to learn, practice & exercise all while having a blast. I really like the venue! Nicole and Charlie are good teachers and both very charming and friendly. The venue is clean, spacious & you can feel the ac in different parts of the room (when its on) which helps me cool down after dancing for a while. The bartenders are usually relatively friendly, drinks are fine, priced about the same as everyone other place I guess? Bathrooms have a few stalls. The energy and atmosphere is usually very positive and fun. Theres always a few stuck up folks, but most people dont take themselves too seriously & just enjoy themselves. It doesnt get too crowded but youre bound to bump into people since the salsa and bachata dances require wiggle space.

I went with a meet up group there and the only thing I enjoyed was talking to the people in that group.Rest everything was awful.I mean a 12oz modelo for 10 bucks? C’mon10$ entry free - I guessOrdering a drink - Bartender doesn’t greet uDancing - WackMusic - BadPeople - Not that manyIf u find urself here, then do urself a favor.Take the 20 bus across the street. Stop on Santa Monica and 4 street and go to Harvelle’s.They got live music and entry fee(check their website coz it’s variable) but u r definitely gonna get ur money’s worth.

If I could give negative stars I would. I went to this bar on a Saturday for a birthday party and did not drink anything but water. My table got a comped bottle, courtesy of the owner and not only did the staff swear at me, unwarranted, when I asked to close my tab and declined an additional $350 bottle, they also tried to charge us additional gratuity of $70, hoping we would be too drunk to notice the extra charge on the bill. Also beware of low attendance and minors at this bar!!!

I went out to this place once but it was very lame— then my nephew had a bar mitzvah there so I had to go. When I walked in the place smelled unbelievably bad! I tried to ignore it then saw multiple rodents during the ceremony. Disgusting.

The service here is phony and trying hard to bring a nightlife scene to Santa Monica but going about it in a cheap and dishonest way. Theres a 2 drink minimum (for some people) at the bar as if theres a comedy show--which there is, kind of. And a minimum gratuity (for some people) of 70 dollars. The only thing I would recommend in the sushi place in what is otherwise the middle of nowhere across the street. The rest of my review was sent in a personal email to the venue. Also, their email address is wrong on the site, it tells you it may contain a virus, and they dont answer the phone.Yikes.

I visited on November 10, 2018. The Mix Professionals with Fun Events! had an event at this location. The staff treated me horribly and the group treated me horribly as well. Also, one of the people in the group photographed my id.

Two drink minimum for credit cards is really lame. Being charged a $10/head cover in SaMo is silly, but I gave it a try, only to be charged $25 for a simple beer and a whiskey sour.

Worst place I’ve ever been to in my life. I saw at least 3 cockroaches. Also the bouncers and staff were absurdly rude and racist.

Went there for a private event. Bar servers rude, owner awful. Would never go back under any circumstances. Drinks watered down, water in small bottles $4.00.
