I had an amazing facial from Brigitte. She was personable, knowledgeable, and answered all my questions about my skin condition. She gave me the best face massage Ive ever had. The facility was nice, and Im glad I was able to use the amenities. I will definitely be back monthly for my facials from Brigitte. Ive been searching for an esthetician ever since the pandemic, and I think I have found my new go-to spot and esthetician!

Sydney was my favorite receptionist. Cant help but have mixed feelings about this establishment and how it treats its employees. It was great while it lasted.

After seeing an article on Brigitte in Vogue, I knew I had to book my wife a facial with her for her birthday. Not only did she say it was the best experience shes had having a facial, but her skin looked better than ever, and the spa and staff are really lovely too. The membership is the best kept secret in the city, the gym is never busy and you get a nice ocean view.

Our facials were excellent. The only complaint I have is that we were not told that we had access to the steam room and sauna and so we did not make time for that before our treatment

I’ve always had beautifully fully updated spa experiences so I was completely taken back at the spa at your Santa Monica Fairmont. Its equivalent to a YMCA Locker room. NOTHING nice or luxurious and it’s kind of nasty. I bathroom…showers were gross and rusty. I almost walked out but I had an incredible massage. You have prob the two best masseuses I’ve ever had and they’re working in an outdated gross cramped facility. They deserve better and so do your guests. I would have given no stars but your masseuses deserve major recognition.

I debated on leaving a truthful review but I want to save people from having the poor experience I had. I receive massages nearly once a week in Las Vegas where I live. I’ve traveled to dozens of cities and experienced their spas. From the first minute at check in I was left with a bad impression. The front desk girl seemed bothered I was there and spent no time showing me where anything was. I actually never even saw if they had a steam room or sauna in the very small facility area because I was never given any information which I figured was customary when coming to a spa. With the price of treatments at Exhale I was in shock with the condition of the facilities. It was my bday weekend and I was treating myself so I attempted to ignore that and stay positive. Then the massage came. The therapist appeared highly intoxicated on some form of medication. I was really surprised that this was the therapist providing me with a $300 deep tissue massage but gave her the benefit of the doubt. 15 minutes in I just stopped the entire thing. I wasn’t going to be able to lay there for 90 minutes with someone just rubbing oil on me. No pressure, no structure to the massage, poor communication. It was just an awful experience. Once I stopped it the front desk girls had a bad attitude as if they were offended I stopped the treatment. Said they would have to talk to management about not charging me. I asked if I could speak to management and was told no. I felt like I was being robbed to be direct. There was absolutely no way I was continuing this horrible experience. My husband was there getting a massage himself which left me 2 hours sitting in the hotel room alone waiting for him when it was my birthday. I have NEVER stopped a massage in my life, no exaggeration I’ve probably received well over 150 massages in the last couple years. Please save your money and go off site if you want a good experience. This is not a spa and the prices they are charging people for the experience they actually provide is blatant trickery.

I have really enjoyed the Barre and yoga classes with Alexandra and Chelsea. The staff is nice and welcoming and the classes are efficient and effective. The studio space is narrow but nice with a modern and sunny vibe. I appreciate that it has hardwood floors rather than carpet like many Barre studios in Santa Monica. The equipment is in good condition. I would recommend this studio!

This ‘Exhale Spa’ is more something you would expect to find in a strip mall. Very small, cramped and dated all around. The actual massage room was part storage room, part massage room. Really strange, especially to find at a Fairmont hotel. Not a great massage experience either.

Wonderful instructor, nice space, challenging class. 75 min class, and I loved the fact that the Vinyasa portion was followed by a short (about 15 min) restorative practice before sinking into a blissful Savasana

I first learned about exhale spa through my Hyatt program. I love the spa, i love barre, so i was like, hey let me give it a try! I absolutely fell in love with the whole program, and I ended up purchasing a year long membership for fitness and spa (cancelling Equinox!). The classes, facilities, massages, facials are UNBELIEVABLE. Ive never had a bad experience, and Ive been already coming for 3 months. Now I just want to share the place with everyone.Chelsea Kruse and Jesse Lujan, who help lead the studio efforts, have been so welcoming. Overall, this is an amazing studio with great leaders and Ive been recommending this to everyone I know.

My husband and I wanted to post an enthusiastic review regarding our experience with the entire Exhale team located within the Fairmont hotel. We have been enjoying the professionalism and care given to us by a very attentive and friendly staff. Currently, my husband, Dana is doing a boxing / cardio workout with his personal trainer, Hugh Fitzgerald. He is very in tune with Danas goals, very knowledgeable, has a calm demeanor and loves what he does. He is one of the best trainers my husband has ever had. We highly recommend Hugh and Exhale. Both are Excellent in what they do!

I was a member at the flagship Exhale in Atlanta, which I loved. Upon arriving to Exhale Santa Monica, I was unsure, because entering the hustle of the hotel can be a bit unsettling. Dont turn away. The classes and the teachers are wonderful and give you just the right amount of exercise, working smarter not harder. TIffanys Monday night yoga and any of Laurens classes are not to be missed.

I came in on short notice after having a spasm in my lower back. The staff was warm and professional. The therapist (forgive me for forgetting her name) knew exactly how much pressure to apply. I instantly felt better afterwards. Best massage Ive had in the longest time. Thank you!

This spa doesn’t even come close to the base level standard of Fairmont Hotel spas, which you expect since this spa is in a Fairmont Hotel. It’s extremely small and has the feeling of being in someone’s home based spa. The massage was good but the waiting/relaxation area is directly outside the treatment room door so I could hear EVERYTHING while I was getting my massage. I def recommend if you are staying at this hotel that you don’t book here for a spa getaway.

Core fusion barre is the most effective barre workout Ive found. It incorporates low weights, resistance bands, and barre work, all focusing on small movements to tone the body. Lauren is the best! Street Parking can be hit or miss nearby, so leave time for parking or to walk from one of the structures.
