This is a beautiful and clean massage place just a short walk from Santa Monica Beach. As soon as I walked in, I felt the charming Oriental vibe. I made my reservation online and got there early, but the massage therapist was still busy. While I waited, they kindly let me try the iRelaxbot, an automatic massage bed, for free. Wow, what a cool experience! Unlike regular massage chairs, it lets you lie flat and even be inverted, using vibrations, pressure, and stretching to totally relax your spine. It felt amazing, and I even thought about buying one for home – until I found out it costs over $10,000! Ill definitely be back.

I had a really great experience here. The facility is welcoming, clean, and quiet. I am visiting from out of town and I have been walking/ biking everywhere, so a massage was a must. I was able to squeeze in the same day, and get an awesome full body, session with Suzy. She introduced her touch over the sheet first, which I always appreciate. She mapped out my tension quickly and went to work. I could tell she was familiar with trigger points and motions for muscle recovery. I booked another one for my guy and myself the next day, 😂

Made a same day appointment really easily over the phone. Very polite staff, welcoming.Facility is unassuming/not very obvious during the day, but they told us to wave through the window to let the front desk know we were there. There’s apparently a doorbell at the gate but it doesn’t seem to work.Water fountain available.Clean facility. Calming music. Air conditioning/temp was perfect. I get cold easily.I took a friend who never got a massage before and she got the full body which is not automatically firm like Thai or shiatsu. The masseuse was careful to ask if there was too much pain or if the pressure was right.Kind of pricey, but it is in Santa Monica.

This is an amazing place to get a wonderful massage! 💆 I give them 10 stars! The staff is terrific and they have world class service. They offer many different types of massages including: deep tissue and hot stone massage; just to name a couple. I highly, highly recommend asking for SUZY to be your Massage Therapist. She is very experienced and she gives a great massage every single time! I always book with Suzy. She is my favorite masseuse. Just visited this hidden gem for a stress-relief session and it was beyond expectations. As a guy who rarely indulges in massages, I was really impressed with the tranquil atmosphere of the place right off the bat. The staff was super friendly, guiding me to a relaxing area where I was prepped for my session. Opted for a deep tissue massage and the therapist expertly eased all the knots out of my shoulders and back. There’s also this innovative massage robot I tried post-session, and honestly, it’s a game changer for quick relief. Ideal for anyone needing a quick reset. Definitely planning my next visit soon!

I love chasing sunsets and capturing them in photos. Like most hard working single parents it is hard to make me time. So I decided to have a trip to Santa Monica with my teenage daughter to go exploring. I am so glad we did! I had the opportunity to get one of the best massages from an amazing Suzy! She worked my tense lower back. upper shoulders, neck & massaged my head! LOL - and I feel like a new woman! Chanden, was super sweet and helpful too. She went out of her way to make sure the therapist understood my needs. I highly recommend it and will definitely come back here when I am in the area again.

Unprofessional Initial Reaction: The masseur’s “wow” reaction upon seeing me was highly unprofessional and made me uncomfortable right from the start and called me beautiful etc during massage! I froze.2. Inadequate Technique: The masseur only applied deep tissue pressure without any variation, demonstrating a lack of proper massage techniques.3. Violation of Privacy: During the massage, the masseur exposed parts of my body that should have remained covered, which is unacceptable and a serious violation of privacy.4. Lack of Skill: The masseur lacked basic knowledge of pressure points and massage techniques, pressing on the wrong areas and failing to provide a proper massage experience.5. Inappropriate Physical Contact: The masseur placed his hands inappropriately on my legs, which felt invasive and uncomfortable.6. Rough Handling: The masseur did not handle my body gently, almost dropping his hands onto me, which added to the discomfort.7. Overall Terrible Experience: The entire experience was unprofessional, uncomfortable, and far from relaxing, contrary to what a massage should be.8. Need for Licensed Professionals: It is unacceptable for a massage center to employ individuals without proper licenses or certifications. It felt like the masseur was randomly picked off the street.

Suzy was so great! I got a 90 minute combo massage and she applied the perfect amount of pressure. I felt like a new man when I left. Shandin at the front did a great job setting up my appointment and helping me decide on a service. The space is very friendly and peaceful, great energy!

I just had a 60 min full body massage with Suzy. It was fantastic. I felt so rejuvenated. I should have done a 90min massage. The front desk lady/owner, BM is very helpful and insightful. I highly recommend this place.

I’ve been coming here for a while, now, and always enjoy my visits. Chanden has always been kind, gracious and super understanding. She’s always over accommodating, letting me make last appointments. The dogs are such sweet little souls. They add such a nice element to the place.

This place looked like it had so much potential. But alas, it’s just another “massage” place that doesn’t have any skilled therapists. I couldn’t wait for the massage to be over. And the nerve to charge what they did! Straight up charging real spa prices (give or take $20) with no skilled employees. Shame on y’all. Save your money. Go somewhere legit.

I haven’t had a massage since well before the pandemic. This morning I had a deep tissue massage by Gina. Professional and focused on any area that I felt could use more attention, she instinctively worked further without me having to say. The massage room was divided into curtain booths, but everyone was quiet. My 45 minute massage was over far too soon. I will be back.

I actually want a massage from the music bingo game at the English bar down the street. I was very pleasantly surprised because it didnt cost me I tipped very well. I dont live in this area but I would definitely come back if I did.

Discrimination from masseuse OrsiI’m not sure why she’s discriminating against me because she has seen me twice before and the owner flat out told me to my face that she doesn’t like massaging me something I’ve never heard of beforeI went in to get a massage again from Orsi and the manager , Lily ,specifically told me to my face that she just doesnt want to massage me and I have no idea why as Ive never had this problem anywhere elseBut they kept playing me for stupid saying oh she has to go home she has a family emergency the last time there was another issue allegedly with her that she wasnt feeling well & Then she still saw me. Which is very peculiar and then I’m being told that she just doesn’t like massaging meShe should have her license yankedIve always liked her & tipped and if it was about the tip she couldve said somethingIve never had a problem tipping anywhere if its if she just doesnt like me Because of my race or anything else or my tattoos thats fine but then maybe she should not be working in an all inclusive communityThere is no one else here that is good I have used the other masseuses here and its a jokeA lot of the equipment for the foot massage is a joke as well and it’s old and rustyIt would be interesting to find out if these people Even hired legitimate masseusesI dare them to leave one silly reply to this because they have nothing to say.Its just flat out discrimination. Had a 45 minute massage with Gina.It was heavenly. I definitely recommend this place.She listened to my problem areas since I had back surgery on lower back.She did a very deep tissue massage and even some stretches.She also really got the knots out.I’m definitely coming back here.I’ve had a a couple of other masseuses and they were all excellent.

While visiting from Canada I was staying at the shore Hotel and the concierge there helped my husband get me an appointment because I was in extreme pain from a pinched nerve.I couldnt even lift my arm. Andrew was very accommodating and my masseuse was wonderful and very compassionate.I was given bioElectric massage which was new for me. It was amazing! As the day went on my pain began to subside substantially and I was able to travel home comfortably the next day. I’m very grateful for the care I received and would highly recommend this business. I was in a real bind physically (and in great pain!) and the staff helped me out immediately. Chanden was such a sweetheart and made sure I was doing great every step of the way. She was so kind and attentive.I woke up that morning with the craziest amount of back pain Ive ever experienced. I took painkillers, and went to see my chiropractor... nothing was working and Chanden found a way to squeeze me in last minute. I am forever grateful.Gina messaged me and she was very good. She got into the muscles on my back really well. They were so stiff and she gave me back my mobility in my back-- immediately.Theyre a small business, which I love supporting! As a women DONT GO HERE ! They not only made me feel uncomfortable with my choices for the massage I wanted but the glute and upper leg massage was inappropriate and disgusting . My pain tolerance is high and I was in pain after leaving and throughout my whole massage. I left feeling uncomfortable and violated. They pressure you in leave a tip which is so rude and unprofessional.

Hands down the best massage Ive had in the city. From the moment I entered I knew I made the right decision. Front desk was very friendly and informative. Come the massage, it was a privilege having Ron as a therapist. He knows and understands the body very well. His massage was focused and intentional, and I had the most relaxing time. Prices were great and the masseuse was very knowledgeable about the muscles and body . I was very impressed with the professionalism and hospitality at this establishment. Highly recommend. I had a massage with Alex who was great and I came back for him but he wasn’t working there any longer and one of the owners man was on the phone and told me that his business partner is great and will give me the best massage. So I agreed.The owner Lily was my masseuse and HAD NO IDEA of what she was doing. She kept asking me questions “do you want me to massage your neck? Or you hands? How the previous masseuse did it for you”. I couldn’t wait for it to be over and it’s the first time when I come out of massage frustrated instead of relaxed.I was trying to be nice and didn’t say anything just thought I wouldn’t go back there anymore.When I paid I said I don’t want to leave the tip because I didn’t like the services. The ower Lily who gave me massage got so angry and said I HAVE TO tip her. The receptionist had to calm her down.The stuff that works there is very polite and sweet and I have no complaints about the employees but the owners of the place are rude, disrespectful and unprofessional.I paid $100 for a massage that I wouldn’t even want for free. And it’s a shame that the good masseuses at that place have to lose clients because of the owners.

Gave this as a gift to my partner. This is her response 🤷🏾‍♂️:I did the hour deep tissue massage with Jeff. The receptionist was great and super helpful with booking so I had a good first impression. But once Jeff took over it went quickly downhill. The room was giant, almost like a warehouse with everyone in the same room but separated by fake walls so you can hear the gross sounds of other massages very close by. Jeff never spoke to me or asked if I had any injuries, how much pressure etc. He just started pushing on me with all his strength till I lost my breath. idk what style that is but I then explained that i wanted the time spent on only a few specific areas (shoulders and feet) and what style. Everything he did was uncomfortable. I had to interject multiple times to ask him to go lighter or change etc. the worst part was that despite me asking for only specific areas to massage he still focused on my glutes and upper thighs for an uncomfortably long time (as a woman this was not enjoyable and made me suspect this was one of THOSE kinds of joints). I have never had to ask a masseuse so many times to change what they were doing. Not one second of this massage was enjoyable. Also the place is disgusting. They use Fabreez and the bathroom had broken locks and soap and just put paper towels over the face hole. Then when I left another receptionist (a man not the woman) actually shamed me for leaving a tip.Pros: free 90 min parking across the street…. I guess that’s it

WORST MASSAGE I HAVE EVER HAD! The whole massage was just painful. I would think an experienced massage therapist would not apply DIRECT ELBOW PRESSURE to someone’s spine. The first 20 minutes he didn’t even use his hands and I definitely left feeling worse. My favorite part was after saying ow and trying to get up three times, my massage person says “relax.” Maybe read the body language bro. I had a couples massage, and my girlfriend felt the exact same. I still tipped and left in a respectful manner, but I will never return. The stars on here are 100% fake. I think the therapists names were Jason and Jonathan.

Had the best couples experience! Our bodies needed some massages and Jason/Suzy did an amazing job! We left feeling so relaxed. They really got deep in there to our muscles! I recommend getting a full 90 minute body massage!

Shes rendered amongst The Best massages I have ever had, and she was sensitive to pressure (she offers three levels of strength and pressure) and areas of my body requiring focus throughout the one hour professional, full body massage. Fantastic foot massage.I’m a traveling nurse and I’m recovering from some killer plantar fasciitis in my right foot. I’m 6’3” 225 lbs (after some recent weight loss). So, I inflamed some things in the ol’ foot for sure.I’ve been to many places seeking some pain relief. My assigned therapist at this location was truly amazing. She was intuitive and open to feedback on the painful areas. She even massaged my right arm/tennis-elbow after I mentioned it toward the end of my session. I actually had to point out that we were over on time as she was only focused on my healing.I’ll be back before I head out of town. I’m grateful.

I’m warning anyone who knows what a decent massage feels like, away from this place. I thought the rating of this place looked decent, but it is deceiving for the quality my partner and I received. Jonathan and coco who were our therapists (I don’t even want to call them therapists, because the fact is it felt like they were hired the day before and quickly taught the same pattern of touching) did not check on the pressure of the massage they were giving, did not do an even massage on each side of the body, and for my experience with Jonathan, felt like he was barely paying attention to what he was doing. At moments there was light touching and then all of a sudden vigourous rubbing of another random body part. Rubbing isn’t massaging. He clearly didn’t know what he was doing. I don’t usually write bad reviews, but we were very disappointed with what we got and I want to warn people who are trying find a good quality massage.

Please do not come to this place, the worse massage experience I have ever had. The lady that I have has no idea what she was doing. She waited for the time to pass and did not focus on her job. My guessed she was tired kneading all day. I would recommend for them to take a break for one hour after they have a customer. It seems to me they care more about the money than the satisfaction of their costumer. To the owner, you need to counsel your employee on how to conduct a massage correctly and not just kneading all over the place. I should not put one star but a -10 (negative 10) in this review.

Had a great experience at the Santa Monica Massage & Reflexology Center today. Chanden at the front reception is wonderful. She had suggested the deep tissue and lymphatic massage since I have been having back issues from a previous car accident and sittingin the officeall day. My masseuse Suzy is amazing! She mainly focused on the back and I feel much better afterwards. Will be coming back again next week.

The massage was good but I was hounded upon leaving for a gratuity. I tried to give $10 as that’s all I can afford and have paid a high price for the service (something I can only justify since it’s my birthday, and was repeatedly asked for more and a sign pointed at for “suggested gratuities”. Ultimately, they didn’t let me leave until they had stumped me out of $40 and that’s still less than what they were asking and much more than I can afford. I can’t afford such large tips on top of a service I have paid for and hounding customers to give gratuity is disgusting - just pay your staff properly!

I booked a one hour aromatherapy massage. The masseuse was a lady called Lilly who is a Chinese American lady with over 10 years experience. I travel a lot around the world and have had massages in many different countries. I have to say that my experience at Massage Capital is one of the best I have had. The pressure was just right and unlike some massages I have had, there was no attempt to inflict pain on my shoulder muscles. I enjoyed my massage so much, I extended the massage beyond the hour and paid for an extra 20 minutes to include a foot massage. I couldn’t recommend this place highly enough. In terms of the salon, it is clean and tidy and all of the staff are courteous and well trained

I came here with my friends and i was very skeptical at first, but I decided to come due to the very low prices. I thought that the quality of the massage would be low due to such a low price, but It exceeded my expectations by three folds! Its $15 for 15 minutes and every minute is well worth it. They have 5 people here to give you a massage, so dont be worried that you will have to wait. The lady here is extremely nice and sets a very friendly and kind atmosphere! This was the first massage Ive ever had and it was great! Ive been here for the past month and its great!! Make sure to stop by and give yourself a nice foot massage. Not only do they just do feet but they also massage your thighs and calfs! They have various massages here! Make sure to come here!!!

I was in Santa Monica for a weekend trip for my birthday and my friend and I decided to go for massages. They were able to take us both at the same time last minute, just calling the day before. I had a reiki session with Lin and it was amazing. I felt so good afterwards. She was truly outstanding. My friend raved about her massage, which was with Orsi...I think. We both were super satisfied with our experiences there. Will definitely return if ever in the area again!

Looking at the website then physically visiting it’s a huge difference. I receive spa treatments regularly and this was totally out of my zone of expectations. Do understand it was clean and staff was welcoming but not my typical atmosphere of relaxation. My husband and I purchased the Swedish Massage. Instructions poorly given and service was rough. Getting settled for bed that night we were extremely sore and did not get a goodnight sleep. That next morning even worst.

I was going to book a massage today but opted not to because the woman that answered the phone who I cannot really hear & understand what she was saying was very rude! I was trying to clarify what she said, she interrupted me and stated that “if i can let her finish”. Well, at that point I interrupted her and told her to stop because she was very rude!I intend to speak to the owner or manager to inform he/she that perhaps someone with good manners should answer the phone since it is a service industry that is really dependent on clients and/or prospective clients.

I got my mom a 90-min massage gift card for her birthday. It took her a while to commit to the appointment, but finally she did it. Later that day she called me and said that it was THE BEST GIFT EVER! She loved it! The massage was so relaxing and enjoyable that she finally let go of all the bed emotional stuff that was weighing heavy on her. And I have myself a happier mom :) Thank you guys for great work!!!

This was my first bio-electric massage treatment and it was great. It had the feel of a real deep tissue massage with all of the benefits of Eastern philosophy and knowledge working to get you to your best self. The technician/masseuse was very knowledgeable and explained how the process works in a vary simple easy to understand manner so you dont have to be a Zen Master to get it. I have not heard of this type of massage/treatment being offered in the area and if you have not tried this yet I highly recommend it! You will feel great and get help with the things that you thought you had to live with. I cant wait for my next session it is truly the best massage in Santa Monica. I highly recommend them......Make sure you give this a try you wont be disappointed.

Best massages Ive ever had! I am currently struggling with my ability to walk and Lily has started my path to regain mobility with bioelectric massage. I was so weak in my right leg I needed to lift my leg up with my leg. One bioelectric massage and that is no longer the case!! After just one session I am noticeably stronger. I have been struggling with this issue for a long time and nothing has worked but this is. HIGHLY RECCOMMEND!! Wonderful people!

This is the best place at Santa Monica for deep tissue and bioelectric massage. I had such a wonderful experience that I want to share with all my friends.This place is clean and well managed. Ms. Lin is very experienced to provide me with a comfortable soothing experience and actually cure my shoulder and arm pain problems for many years. (I am a IT person and sits in front of computer many hours during the day. I have developed some should and arms pain and my arms were not able to raise up much due to the pain).Ms. Lin was very patient to listen to my problems. She suggests the bioelectric massage and the very first time, I can raise my arms much higher and my shoulder does not felt pain compared to an hour ago.I am so happy about their service and will definitely come back again.

I just walked in and could immediately have a massage (4pm) and choose between male and female masseur.I wanted to have a strong massage on my back and she really did that and asked me if she should continue or massage an other spot.Highly recommendable and a very good price for what you get.

Ohhh Orsi is hands down amazing!! I only did the foot massage and the moment she touched my feet I felt so much weight lifted from me. And if I had more money to spend I would had gotten a full massage on top of that. When I come back Ill always book some time with Orsi! Thank you for making my vacation great.

Best deep tissue massage I’ve ever had. Great pressure. She flexed my body and manipulated it to get better precision at my sorest points. Never had to say anything. Only item would be that the rooms are open and you can hear people coming and going... but who cares when you find a place like this.

So i am recovering from head and neck surgery 2.5 months ago. My Beverly Hills surgeon ill advised me to return to the gym three weeks after the five hour surgery. This caused blocked Eustachian tubes from the inflammation I exerted pressure excessively, which caused tinnitus, conditions Ive never experienced before that surgery.I called Santa Monica Massage and Reflexology Center for a massage to remove the tense horrible pressure in my neck and around my ears. Spoke to Andrew who referred me to Lily for Bioelectric massage therapy. It is quite similar to Acupuncture like Ive done in San Francisco China town. I actually think this was much better.Lily was nothing short of AMAZING!! She took extra time to work on my troubled areas of my head and neck as well as the rest of my body.. The pressure has been relieved but as she said i definitely need to come back to fully open the Eustachian tubes behind my ears. She has definitely earned my trust and look forward to seeing her again.Also, ive had an excellent Swedish massage from Oshi! Is there nothing these Women cant do?? They are certified in their fields and you will not be sorry, mark my words!Just so you all know i am an extremely healthy and active guy who is incredibly grateful that Ive found this Massage center. Horrible !! Very small. Uncomfortable sometimes because the equipment is not the same for all and is outdated. We were 2 and we were massaged by 2 men. The massage was ok (although I do not understand how for 15 minutes you can touch the back with one hand ...) massage 1:15 instead of 1:30, with 30 minutes late at the beginning. So paid $ 95 ($ 95 = 90 min) for only 75 minutes! The worst: tips are mandatory and the minimum is $ 14.25. The guy at the reception does not give you the choice and attacks you. Scandalous. We give tips when everything is ok but this place is really a rip off!! They want money thats all. Don’t go, save your money for a better place.

Whats Chinese word for spinal cord?This was a Groupon purchase.I never felt relaxed or safe. The beds are close together with no curtains. I had to wear my jeans. Two workers both very limited English. Two minutes into massage the woman had her elbow pressing against my L3 vertebra. I dont dig having my spine massaged. I waved her off using sign language. She was good at finding my trigger points in my shoulder area. She was also Good at massaging large muscle areas like gluteus . I walked in because I had a stiff neck. He guy at the reception said it was the best in town so I decided to give it a try. I got a 15 min massage that was supposed to concentrate on my neck. Steve only got to my neck the last 4 mins or so. When he did finally worked on my neck, I was face down and he started on what was supposed to be the right side of my but instead (I don’t think he was paying attention) he started digging his forearm into the center of my neck, on my spine. I am now in more pain then when I walked in and there’s a bruise on my neck. I’ve had plenty of deep tissue massages and this has never happened.Today is Monday, I got the massage on Saturday and my neck hurts to the touch. I would say stay away from this place. It’s nice inside but looks can be deceiving.

Firstly this was a gift on Groupon, when I called to make an appointment owner said we don’t do Groupon on Saturday,my experience was horrible I didn’t have change for tip had 5 bucks and the owner was really rude said what happened you didn’t like the massage I said was ok, he’s like because you only give 5 bucks tip don’t you know it is supposed to be 10%?I told him I was running late and didn’t know that I didn’t have change he was very pushy I ended up charging my card he didn’t even told me that there was a fee when I checked my bank account later I was charged an extra $2.94 I felt really violated..
