Had an amazing experience at the Ana Molinari Salon, Spa and Boutique in downtown Sarasota last Friday. I planned on getting a facial but got the works from Suzanne! What an experience! 🤩 Dermaplaning, nano and a seaweed mask. Not to mention the relaxing leg massage while my mask was working. My skin feels absolutely amazing ❤ Suzanne is a true professional! I get my hair colored, cut, and styled by Maria Porter (@hairmaxfl on insta) at this salon. She is THE BEST! It is so hard to find a good colorist for blonde hair and Maria kills it every time. I always leave feeling fabulous!Not only is she super talented, but she also has the best energy. I alway enjoy my time sitting in her chair. Thank you Maria!

This Boutique is a hidden gem for any one commuting or passing by Downtown Sarasota. I got my nails done last minute & was so thankful they were able to get me in with no appointment. Janet was more than lovely doing a gorgeous manicure & pedicure that I can not be more happy with. Her friendly service & expertise on her work was comforting & professional.

Suzanne is a beautiful soul and great at what she does! My skin felt amazing when I left and days after.

I used this salon for the makeup and hair for my bridesmaids and I for my wedding this April. Frederique was assigned for the hair and Claire for the makeup, these women are amazing. The wedding was in Naples, FL so they traveled from Sarasota, arrived early and were able to have all six bridesmaids and I ready in time for photographs. They were extremely easy to work with, catered to every girls thoughts on style and produced BEAUTIFUL bridesmaids. They are also very kind and lovely, we all enjoyed spending the day getting ready with them. It is clear Fredrique strives for perfection, my hair style had not a single hair out of place. She was able to tailor all the bridesmaids hair styles to something that accentuated their features and truly looked stunning, they were all just as pleased as I was. Claire is incredible at what she does. I wanted a more natural look, classy, but something that still stood out. She knew exactly what I wanted and I couldnt have asked for more. Every bridesmaid also had very elegant, natural looking makeup, that they were very happy with. I would highly recommend these two if you need wedding services.

I went to Ana Molinari for the first time this week. I was so impressed by the level of service and attention I received. My hairdresser Jessica was extremely knowledgeable regarding hair styles and bone structure of the face along with simplicity of care for everyday ease. She spent time with me to show me how to dry it for the best results and also stated many times that if I needed it adjusted in any way...just let her know. I left there with confidence and love my hair cut! I havent said that in years!

I love this salon! Very chic and has a great, welcoming atmosphere. Ana colored my hair and she did a fantastic job! My hair has never looked this good. All the employees were very nice, and even offered me a drink while I was getting my hair colored. This salon works very efficiently, and I love it! Highly recommended.

Petra was an excellent make up artist. She did my daughters wedding makeup and she looked absolutely beautiful.Frederique Did her hair and was very impatient and actually made her cry so we dismissed her and the brides friends accomplished in 10 minutes what she was unable to do and looked amazing.

My hairstylist and makeup stylist canceled on me the day of my wedding. Frederique and her team fit me and my mother in last minute. The makeup artist even came in on her day off to do it. It all turned out so beautiful! My hair was incredible and lasted the entire wedding beautifully. I can not thank them enough for making my wedding day special.

Ana is a Sarasota staple and namebrand hair stylist! Shes established herself in the industry as a fashionista and visionary. Ive been getting my hair cut with her for around 30 years. She has been able to fix all of my self-inflicted experiments (cue the montage of my teenage years) and has given me advice which prevented future ones (classic bangs debate). I have always gotten instant compliments after leaving my appointments with her. Dont think twice, book a haircut with her!

I dont write a lot of reviews but when I do its because I am that passionate about the person/business I have found. I am so picky about my hair and makeup. But I truly feel like Ana is so good at knowing what color looks good with my skin tone and what cut to do for my facial structure every time. Even when I want to try something new she always hits the nail on the head and does something I absolutely love that looks good on me.I highly recommend this Salon and Spa.. Fabulous!

I employed their services on-site for my wedding at Mote Marine Aquarium in November 2018. Could NOT have been more amazed and excited by their work. My mother and I went for trial hair and makeup prior to the wedding to see what look we would like for the wedding, and it added a huge element of anticipation to the lead-up to the wedding, being excited to look so gorgeous again. My makeup artist was Corinne, whom I ADORED; she was so fun and easy to talk to and literally, literally worked magic. Frederique did things with my hair I didnt know could be done! My bridesmaids had WONDERFUL experiences and looked AMAZING thanks to Corinne and Paula on the day of! Everything was easy to arrange, and I would highly recommend them!

The salon is ideal. The staff is casual and Ana is a meticulous genius. Her attention to detail is exquisite. I recommend this salon and Ana to anyone who is out of town and is picky about their hair. (Including Men) Coming from a cosmetologist I can say without a doubt this is a gem in the downtown Sarasota area. I will definitely be back.

I work in Lakewood Ranch and Anas was a natural location for me. My problem has always been having long curly hair and finding someone who knows how to cut and color this hair type to achieve a result that works. Sheila spent a great deal of time with me my first visit. Having learned about curly hair in New York she went over many details and what type of cut and color would work best for my hair and most importantly my life style. The rest is history. My appointments are now more like visiting an old friend and leaving with great hair. Alberto, the massage therapist on site has the most magical fingers I know for relieving the stress that comes with computer work. Best of all, he sincerely cares that when you leave you feel better then when you arrived. Dont wait another minute to become part of this great family. You will thank yourself every time you visit.

I have been a client of Ana Molinari, at the Palm Avenue salon, since August 2014. It is so refreshing to find a hairdresser that is so passionate about hair and makeup. Her enthusiasm in continually improving and updating her craft is so difficult to find these days. She has a discerning eye, when it comes to color, and is well qualified in using Wella hair color products. If you are looking for a hairdresser who truly knows how to enhance your look; be open to change and make an appointment at the downtown salon.

I love this salon! I am a model/actress and I always go to Ana Molinari salon to get all of my hair and makeup needs taken care of. Dayanna and Joey and phenomenal makeup artists and Ana herself is by far the best hair stylist Ive ever had. Everyone who works here is very professional and the atmosphere is much fun to be in. Several of my favorite pieces of clothing have come from Ana Moinari boutique as well. I highly recommend this salon to anyone in need of hair, makeup, nails, or any woman who just want to feel more beautiful :)

I went here for hair and makeup to model for a photographer friend of mine. My makeup was amazing. Eri is fantastic. I asked for natural looking makeup, just enough to make my features pop for the camera, but so that it really didnt look like I was wearing makeup. She did a fantastic job. It was airbrushed and looked totally natural. Had I known about her a year ago, I would have had her do my wedding makeup. A young blond woman curled my hair, I didnt catch her name, and then Ana finished it off by combing though it and styling it. When I left I was a little worried because my hair looked a little big for my taste, I felt like I had 80s Farrah Fawcett hair. But a few minutes outside in the FL air, it fell a little bit, and then it looked fantastic. It ended up looking exactly the way I wanted. Its not everyday I need hair and makeup done, but when I do, I would definitely go there again.

Working with Ana Molinari for my destination wedding was such an amazing experience. Fabiola was very responsive and flexible in helping me figure out timing, and Frederique and Corrine made me look and feel so beautiful for my big day. I highly recommend!!!

I was actually excited to do my Bridal Make up for my photo shots and they promised to do a wonderful job, I’m very disappointed, the make up artist didn’t even knew how to do my eyebrows I looked like a clown with a U shape eyebrows I actually had to fixed them myself, because she didn’t even offer to fixed them, I asked for a glamorous looked and honestly I could have done better, but I trust it then, I just didn’t said any at the moment because I felt embarrassed by the way I looked, so days later I texted them and email them my pictures so they can see how bad it look and I did not get a response, up until like a month later I disputed the amount and even then, they never apologize for the inconvenience, and horrible service will not recommend them AT ALL. I had to give them one star otherwise it would b let me post my review but no Stars from me.

Received a pedicure from Cindy today and she was the only professional and caring person here. It was a terrible experience due to a woman in the salon with no shoes on, singing loudly, and crying at many points. Cindy tried to make sure my experience was nice unlike the owner HERSELF. Ana not once tried to ask this woman to stop. She should be so ashamed of herself. On top of it, this time I received, a hot stone massage with the pedicure and the 2 other times Ive come I did not receive one and still was charged $50 for a pedicure. So disappointed with this salon and will never be going back.

Ana Molinari did my offsite hair and makeup for my wedding day. Fabiola was amazing at getting back to me with my questions. She provided a price list and the entire booking process was clear. On my wedding day, Frederique did an amazing job creating my updo the way I wanted. Jess J. made me glow with how she did my makeup. They all were professional and did a superb job making me look beautiful. Thank you!

Front desk personnel is extremely rude. You do not get an itemized receipt and Fredy bristles if you ask her. Attitude galore on the phone if you try to reschedule an appointment.

First time visitor since I just had moved to the area. I was trying to find a salon that would work with my hours at work. However when I went in for a cut and color, she didnt even ask what color I wanted just continued to make it the color I had before, which I was not happy with. I also was left with a huge swatch of hair dye on my arm. When I went to get my hair cut, I explained that I like to keep my hair very short, which I was then asked Why? Dont you want it feminine She just pointed out a celebrities hair cut and said well do this. When I told her that I did not like that, I like my hair styled a certain way she barely even did what I ask. My hair has no style or shape now.

Dont expect to be on time when visiting this place/ have anything else scheduled. I had an appointment but the polish for both hands and feet took 3 hrs. It was pretty evident that they hadnt expected 2 people at the appointment or the fact that it was both a manicure pedicure even though I mentioned it on the phone. I ended up sharing an appointment time with another guest which was very awkward.... It was quite evident that everyone was very disorganized. Even the other customers commented on their habitual tardiness. Then the gel nails are already chipped 1 day after. Usually when they do Gel nails - they paint the edge of the nail so you can wear it for a long time, but not this one...

Glory is the best , she does my hair every 3 weeks . Very talented stylist , and will recommend her to everyone. .

BEWARE!! I went in to have my tape in extensions fixed, she told me to bring my own tape which should have been my first clue. She took the glue out of my hair that was left over from my previous extensions then the hair washer washed and CONDITIONED my hair, you are not suppose to use conditioner on hair before putting tape in extensions in. After that she started to basically throw the extensions on my head, with no pattern or technique what so ever. As they continued to fall out she kept blaming it on the extensions, which I have been using the same brand for the past three years. I told her she need to actually press them on my head and sandwich them together (it was as if she had never done extensions before). After about 10 mins she was ‘done’ so while walking to the cash register I had an extension come out which she responded ‘don’t you know how to put them in yourself?’. She then charged me $200. The next morning I woke up and all of the extensions had fallen out! I called her and she said that since she had to pay the hair washer to stay late and since he used conditioner that she should not have to refund me but after I continued to plead my case she said I needed to come in as she could not refund my card over the phone. I went to ulta and the stylist told me that was the worse extension job she had ever seen and even took a picture, which I will get from her and post, and that I deserved a refund. So today I went in with my husband to get the refund and she said that the best she could do was give me credit for shampoo and products at her salon. When I said that I deserved a refund since I did not get what I paid for and that she already said she would refund me over the phone as long as I brought my card in she said I was lying and then started to make fun of me saying I was crying to her and saying that I did not have any money, which was a blatant lie and I never said anything along those lines. I was willing to pay for the shampoo and blow dry, which she said was $80 but on her site says it is $35 but after her lying and making fun of me all on top of not performing the service I paid for, I will be calling my bank for a refund. Worse salon I have ever been to hands down and frankly I am kicking myself for not reading the other reviews because it seems she has a track record of doing horrible things like this.

I have always had the best service here at Anas. Her staff is amazing and they are so professional and kind. Fun atmosphere and lots of choices for beautifying your look. Looking forward to my hair and makeup tomorrow .❤💛💚

Please dont book them for your wedding, thy will ruin your day!I scheduled two stylist to come to my hotel on my wedding day to do my hair and makeup and a few of my bridesmaids hair.My sister asked for a blow out and they charged her $80 which is totally ridiculous considering they did my flower girls up dos for $25. The entire time the stylists were there they were complaining about how they had more jobs to go to and need to rush. Rush they did...First they did my make up, which looked completely terrible. I asked for light make up as we were having a casual, beachy wedding. What I got was a heavy face of make up that looked exactly like what the make artist was wearing. When I looked in the mirror I was very unhappy and decided to wash the make off and do my own.Next they did my hair. I showed them a picture of an up do I liked (curly, flowy bun) and ended up with a tight bun on top of my head. The stylist was in such a rush, she didnt even bother curling my pin straight hair and instead just pinned it in place in a way that made it look like it had been curled. The problem... when the up do fell out less than two hours later I had a mess of awkwardly straight pieces coming out of my bun and ended up having to take it all out and do it my self.They were so bad and so unprofessional that honestly believe whomever is posting positive reviews either was paid or is related to them. Please go somewhere else. They are total rip off for the terrible results you get.

I cannot begin to describe how upset I am with my hair. First I was quote 55.. then I was quoted a little more because they were doing half balyage... Then proceeded to do a full one... Was there for 4 hours. This hair style looks NOTHING like what was pictured. I then wanted a trim for my ORANGE FRIED hair.. They charged me $70!!! For a trim only. I had no style, no layers. NOTHING. The full price came to $200 for a botched job.. I cried for a whole day afterwards.. My hair is half ORANGE and nothing like I asked.. All I got was fried hair. and a RIP OFF.. I am not one to complain about things but this is beyond terrible. I was so upset I had a close friend call for me and the lady wouldnt refund the full amount.. only partial still leaving me spending $100... I will never ever come back here and I advise you do not as well.. The owner was not nice at all. I cannot tell you how terrible a job this was. I couldve done better with no hair knowledge and boxed bleach at home.

I went and has the most amazing pedicures ever. I am diabetic and am always a little worriedies when getting pedicures but this person Rosa was just wonderful. Took extra special care and gave me just a wonderful pedicure. I cant wait to get my next one.Please be here Rosa when I come back.

I have never been greeted by a Ruder group of women. The owner and stylist Glory are overbearing and ridiculous . Surprised you’re allowed to treat clients this way. Horrible customer service and generally terrible demeanor. Take your money elsewhere

I asked for highlights and for Ana to only check the haircut I gave myself. She went ahead and started cutting which I thought was her just fixing a little something and then ends up charging me $70 for a cut on top of the brassy highlights she gave me. She was barely paying any attention to me and chatting with other employees the whole time. It was NOT a good experience and I would deter anyone from going to a place that doesnt care about what the client needs.

Ana is very skilled, not many can cut my hair where I can style it after I get home.She did an amazing job taming my naturally frizzy, curly hair. THANK YOU ANA!

I am an independent contractor who attempted to do work for the owner, not only was she one of the most rude and condescending people I have ever met, when I told her I was unable to complete the work (at no charge of course) because of the way I was being treated, she had a fit of rage and stole equipment out of the trunk of my car while I was trying to leave. Whether you are a consumer or another business, I would highly recommend taking your business elsewhere, plus from the other one-star reviews it sounds like they arent very good at what they do anyways.
