This place is always on top of its game! You can visit other local shops and see similar items to each other, but dragon headz is above and beyond the rest. All of the glass here is so beautiful and unique, they have such a selection! Anytime I stop in I am always greeted right away and they will do anything to help. They truly take pride in their work and are very knowledgeable about all the pieces they carry. I never feel rushed. The custom glass art in the side room is incredible. Dragon Headz is so far the best smoke shop I’ve been to in my past 6 months of being in Sarasota Florida! They have impressive one of a kind pieces. I didn’t ask but it looks like they make their own pieces within their shop! I bought some hemp wick for my friends for Christmas and they also have Faygo! Score! Only once have I purchased a defective item and they corrected the situation right away. This has been the premier smoke shop in sarasota for as long as I can remember. The staff is always very helpful. The only reason I rate 4 instead of 5 stars is the last couple of times I have stopped by they didnt have what I was looking for and the most recent Sunday they opened up about 25 minutes later than their posted hours suggest.

One of the best glass shops in the state of Florida. I travel from another city (2.5 hours) just to enjoy some time here and make key purchases. The customer service is outstanding. Easily the best customer service around! Anytime I’ve ever had a question about anything they’re quick to respond within minutes. I was looking for something very specific and had been messaging back and forth with a very helpful employee and they took the time to go through a few dozen different options with me, sending me pictures and videos of everything. Great resourceful staff! The piece I bought however had a hole the size of a needle and we all know how annoying that is when you finally get it home to use it. I commend them for their friendliness but that is one step of knowledge as a staff member to inform me of such a thing. Went here on 9/9/21. I just got my medical card. I needed a roller. Me and my boyfriend was talking to the guys that run the shop and ended up getting some wraps to try and some other things. Loved this place. Make this your go-to spot. I am From New York down here on vacation. Last year I came down I wasnt sure where to go, but this year I knew this would be my first stop. It was worth it, and man, wish I would have made the drive last year because this place has what you are looking for. Absolutely amazing pieces that are truly art. I love those place! The guys are super accommodating! The pieces there are beautiful and original. They also blow the glass in house and you can sometimes catch them doing their work live! They have a great selection of incense and also carry cbd products now as well

You guys are the bomb, me and my brother come in probably once a month at least, always 5 star service and very knowledgeable. Every visit is great. Products are easily the best in town as well. Not to mention they always hook it up, if you spend some money with these guys their happy to go above and beyond. I dont see how anyone could have a bad experience here. Coming from a regular to this store, anyone who leaves a bad review is just salty because they didnt do their research or has another agenda.

Great selection, usually the staff is friendly and informative. Unfortunately my boyfriend and I came in today looking for custom glass. The employee working the counter ( skinny guy with curly hair and glasses) was very patronizing and told us when we asked for a catalog that “that is what the internet is for, oh yeah check out google” very strange that a small business would suggest us to go online. He went on to threaten my boyfriend “ how do you know I won’t shoot you” when he was confronted about his unprofessional and flat out rude behavior. Really disappointed because I usually have a great experience and I always love the selection but I don’t want to shop there anymore.

Great shop, walked in very organized with a huge selection! Asked the guy behind the counter how long theyve been open he said 2 days and they already had more than my regular vape shop! Best part they werent even finished setting up. Also got a 60ml bottle of liquid for what I pay for a 30ml anywhere around town! Very good pricing from what Ive seen and even cheaper than most places online, good luck! Ill be back for sure

The employees here are so nice and helpful, keeps me coming back. I needed a simple water bong with an ice catcher and the girl that helped (I wish I got her name for the shout out) showed me exactly what I wanted. The first piece she showed me I got, I really appreciated that she didnt try to upsell me on anything fancy because I was clear with my simple description. On other occasions Ive gotten a scale, grinder, roller, and papers. Always a quick and easy transaction.

Hands down the most professional smoke shop we have ever been in, and plan to for the foreseeable future. We live in Myakka City so its not a easy ride to find what we need and when we do it had better be good. Well they cover all our needs and more great innovatory and prices. If youre not shopping here you are silly.

Read a few reviews here, including the negatives, and my experience was a good one.They greeted me the moment I walked in. They had AMPLE parking, four spots on the side of the business and at least 15 out back. Parking in the Ringling area is always vexing, not the case with these guys, as they had their own parking lot. The young lady bent over backwards to help me find exactly what I was looking for. Pricing was on par with Its All Good, which also has attentive and courteous staff.I certainly prefer to venture to downtown Sarasota over the Cortez area; Last time in the Cortez area, some homeless lunatic on SR 41 pulled my door handle in traffic trying to get in.To the people that left one star reviews, I experienced the exact opposite.

Edit to add;The employee working when I went back on my lunch break, was very friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. I had told him about me having been there early and he apologized profusely. He even gave me a discount on my purchase for walking there in the heat. Unfortunately they did not have my specific vape in stock, but he was able to help me pick out one that is just as good. They have definitely earned my business back.I normally adore this franchise, but today was completely different. google says the store opens at 10 am. I was there at 10 am, and the lights were off and the store was closed. I was only able to wait a few more minutes because I had to be at work. I had to find a completely different smoke shop to go to because of this inconvenience. I left my house 30 minutes early to make sure i got to Dragon Heads when they opened. i called both numbers (the shop in bradenton and this one) and noone answered in either store. very disappointed. They have specific vapes that noone else carries, but i guess ill just go straight to the website of the manufacturer from now on. Completely disappointed.

Went here today for the first time and the salesperson was very friendly and helpful and got me exactly what i was looking for. Very cool place with a seperate room where the artists blow glass and display some AMAZING pieces. Like an art gallery. Will definitely go back

The girls working there didnt seem too familiar with the products or the prices. I asked for items and was told they didnt have, but after explaining and looking around I found exactly what I needed and saw a new item I had no idea was available. When I asked the prices I got a bunch of ummmss and I thinks....basically they priced the stuff off the top of their head, lol. I got a great deal!! Large quantity of gear

These are well informed, genuine people who are able to help first timers. As a veteran, when I see people who go in not knowing much about the products, its important to see them not getting entirely swindled. Some of the stuff be kinda pricey. But overall its not a terrible place price wise.

Been coming here for about a year now and the older gentalmen that works during the earlier hours constantly tries to over charge me for everything. But when I come in later at night the other employees are always so nice and charge me the normal prices. Its not worth over charging someone just to make a few dollars because in the long run youll just lose someones business all together. Poor example the owners father is setting.

I drove 20 minutes here since I live in Bradenton. It was the only place open past 8pm which is convenient. I just went here to grab one thing but would return even with the drive, nice selection of various items and the atmosphere wasnt quite and dry like some of them by me. (They have 2 shops in the building strip, one is just a vape store, both employees were super nice helping me)

God bless this place. I went in needing a specific sized tobacco pipe, and Moe the owner gave me a recommended brand that I’ve been recommended there before. I’ve been hesitant since it was a bit more than I had wanted to spend the first time around, but I actually didn’t really need a pipe but moreso wanted to spoil myself with something that would actually be a respectable contender to my other personal pipes. I had seen very many beautiful pipes and had become a bit indecisive and Muhammad just kept leading the way. He was clear on the durability of the pipe and had given me good prices on other pipes of lesser thicknesses than the revealed “GRAV” pipe- simply because I kept dodging this GRAV pipe for looks.. This pipe was on the back burner the first couple of times I’ve been in here actually needing a pipe.. but I was wrong. Muhammad eventually helped make a crucial and for my benefit decision to finalize my GRAV purchase and I couldn’t be happier. He was incredibly generous and he has won a life time customer. I can’t wait to try the Sherlock GRAV pipes he keeped recommending. I’m glad I can meet an honest owner who won’t sell me something that’s only good in looks and HIGHLY PRICED and not practical.. It is owned by two of the friendliest and most helpful guys Ive ever met. If you have questions they will take as much time as you need to get every answer you want. They show such compassion for their customers and the glass community as a whole. They have a myriad of stunning glass works for every price range, the best science glass selection and an untouched pedestal of heady glass. This place is great for vape supplies or any of your other smoking needs. We always stop in when we are down from Michigan. They have two separate stores for vape/glass but are both in same strip of stores so they are 50 feet apart. Vape juice is as cheap as anywhere around town. The smoke shop has their own glass blower that can make custom pieces which is super cool. They even hooked my girlfriend up with a free t-shirt. Staff is chill and ready to help. Will always be back...

My experience at drag-on-Heads was disenchanting to say the least. I try to support local businesses but not this one. The staff is rude and the prices are outrageously high. A simple GOOGLE search will save you lots of money. Buy direct and pay 20 cents on the dollar. It worked for me.

This isnt your typical smoke shop. You know what Im talking about. That poorly lit showroom with dust on the glass, a shady looking dude at the register and a gallery packed with imported glass being sold as American.. Those places suck big time. Thats why Dragon Headz SRQ is by far the best smoke shop for me to visit without having to take a road trip.. (But its well worth a short road trip just to check out their gallery even if youre not in Sarasota!) Just my opinion. The second you walk in, its a very attractive atmosphere. Gorgeous, QUALITY glass. Everywhere! The place is well lit, so it doesnt feel grimey or shady and you can actually admire the art. This IS an art gallery! Expect to spend some time there, for sure! I went in for a banger and walked out like an hour later. Felt like I just walked out of a strip club, quite honestly. (Meaning I WANTED to take all that beautiful stuff home with me, but couldnt. 🙁) Ive only been there twice because I just discovered the place, but it will be my go-to smoke shop when Im ready to invest in some beautiful, high quality glass. My favorite part of the place is where the magic actually happens. You can actually watch some amazing artists blowing glass right in front of you. And thats one thing that puts this shop into a higher category than the other 800 smoke shops within 10 miles of me. It really is one badass smoke shop. Walking through their door, I liken it to what I imagine walking through the gates of heaven might feel like. Went there asking for a vape pen holder for Med marijuana. They were very standoffish and sort of weird. I left and wont be back. UPDATE: Dear Owner, thanks for the reply. Could you cite the law, please? Its just a 510 thread vape pen. Nothing illegal about selling that to anyone. And your response is exactly what I was referring to about being standoffish and weird.

This dude ripped me off today, went in to buy an aspire breeze 2. Asked the price since it wasn’t posted, he said “I think 39.99” at purchase he didn’t scan anything, just typed it in. Told him it seemed a little steep bc I had a friend tell me they should be closer to 29.99...he said that was for the breeze 1. Looked it up later and literally can’t see a single establishment that sells it for more than 24.99...I’ll eat it because I made a dumb mistake...but buyer beware this shop is run by a snake. Don’t go.

Called to ask a few quick basic questions about a product and was told to go online and do research and that people were in the store so my 15 second phone call was too long to speak with me. Clowns

They have a wide selection at the store but they are very expensive ,its a good place to browse but since he offers no warranty on any electronic items like vaporizers and such your best bet is to purchase it from the manufacturer online because that way your product is registered with the manufacturer and warranties are much easier than if you purchase here

Going to Dragon Headz is always a great experience from the staff to their glass they always have the best to offer.

Place is a joke. The employees were completely useless and unhelpful on top of being rude and everything I purchased was cheap and broke within weeks.

Typical vape shop . Horrible parking lot entering and exiting. Service was shameful. And no body wants to walk in too two different stores to try and find what they want ..

If it says on your door that you open at 10AM then you should stick to that. 3rd time I show up around 10:20 in the morning and the door is not open yet. Change hour of operations or set an alarm dudes.
