Service & experience 10/10! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️This is a long one but so worth!My mom, sister, and I came in an hour before our service because we are from out of town but they were very accommodating, they let us go upstairs to waiting area, offered us espresso, wine, or cucumber water (espresso is amazing) Place is super nice and clean. Ambiance gave a very relaxing feel. They have a menu enhancement in where you choose what you want. So online you would choose the massage you’d like but just choose the basic because the menu enhancement is where you will customize your massage based on your needs. They’ll just hold a cc info online but the charge comes after service based on the add ons you chose on the enhancement menu. The host helped me understand what I needed so I chose the scalp massage with coconut, eucalyptus aroma therapy, and cbd massage. Vanessa was my masseuse and SHES AMAZING! As soon as we got into the room she went over the menu and what I had requested to better understand my target spots and what I needed. She wasted NO TIME! I have membership with another spa in my hometown and I have NEVER had a massage like that before. She understood my needs and targeted my neck tensions and knots in ways I have never felt before. So sad I live so far away but omg, definitely coming back just for her! I came in hurting and with migraines and I’m leaving super relaxed and tension free.Im so thankful 🙏So yes 👏 worth the drive and worth every second! 💕

This place is amazing highly recommend!! Jenny, Anna and Joan are rockstars! I cannot praise them enough, not only did Joan listen to my skin concerns she made sure I was comfortable the whole time. Anna fixed my right side issues on my back and shoulder, immediate relief let’s not forget the relaxing atmosphere too! Nicole is an amazing person and her qualities ring true to the way she treats her customers! The mimosas and charcuterie board were delicious, perfect touch for the couples spa package, and what we didn’t eat she kindly bagged up for us! We felt like family members, she just started babysitting services as well! Moms and dads look out you’re in for a treat! ❤️

This spa is a hidden gem in downtown Sarasota. Super cute inside and very tranquil. The facials by Sylvia and Tristan are amazing. I have had 4 facials over the past several months and my skin looks the best it has in years. Highly recommend Blue Aloe!

Blue aloe Day Spa is a beautiful and tranquil spa in downtown Sarasota! The staff are more than friendly and they have many unique services to choose from. I had the Lavender and peppermint hot stone deep tissue massage and it was amazing. Trista was the massage therapist I had my appointment with and she was wonderful. She was warm, friendly and makes your experience is above and beyond expectations! I will definitely visit again.

My husband and I enjoyed the couples package, which included a one-hour facial and a one-hour massage. It was heavenly, to say the least. The staff was beyond friendly, professional, and highly knowledgeable. We felt completely pampered and relaxed throughout the entire experience. We will definitely be coming back when we come to visit in a few months.

This place is an absolute gem in Sarasota! From the moment I walked in, everyone was so friendly and inviting. The spa itself is cozy and VERY clean. Tristin was my masseuse and she was amazing! She made sure I was comfortable and made sure to consistently check in on the pressure and how I was feeling. She was very attentive to my problem areas and took her time. I never wanted it to end!!!There is no doubt that I will be back soon!

I have never experienced such amazing services, friendliness, customer service, and knowledge at any other spa. The owner, Nicole, is absolutely wonderful. Matt at the front desk is always so friendly and welcoming.The massage therapists—Eric, Jenni, Tristin, and Anna—are all exceptional. Silvia and Joan are incredibly skilled at skin care and facials. This spa is my go-to, as well as my friends, in the area.I highly recommend Blue Aloe Spa to anyone living in the area or visiting. I’m not sure why this place has such good reviews, but I had truly the worst experience. My husband and I get couples massages often. When we entered the main entrance, there was no one there to greet us. After 10 minutes, someone walks in and takes us to a sitting area just inside the reception area- it had half drank glasses of mimosas and waters on the table in front of us. After about 10 minutes of sitting in there, someone came in and took us upstairs because apparently another couple was suppose to be where we were sitting. Upstairs was much prettier and more of a spa vibe. We were waiting in the upstairs waiting room for another 5 minutes or so. We arrived at 2:45 for our 3 o clock massages but we didn’t end up starting our massage until well after 3. Once we got to the massage room we met our therapists and changed. I noticed while we were waiting for them to come back in that one of the therapist had her purse underneath my husbands table which I thought was weird? Employees should have there own area to place their belongings that isn’t near customers. The massage got started and all was going well. I did think it was a little bit weird that the therapist didn’t ask the pressure preference. My therapist’s cell phone when off during our massages! This is a huge no no for me and that’s when I decided I would never come back. She ran underneath my husband’s massage table during our massages to silence her cell phone, came back and continued my massage. And then a minute later went back to her phone and started texting. Even after the massage was over she did not even apologize for the interruption. Towards the end of the massage, I heard her refilling her lotion bottle right next to my ear. And several times throughout the massage, she bumped into my table several times. This was far from a relaxing experience. I would not go back or recommend.

5 STARS!! This place is warm, friendly, and phenomenal. They really makes sure that people are happy and cared for. We got the most phenomenal massage in Sarasota that I have ever had. You can tell when someone knows what theyre doing and when they care a whole lot. This place is really special and I will absolutely be returning!

Visited today with my sister for a facial and massage. Tristan was amazing, one of the best massages I’ve had in a long time. The spa vibe was relaxing and the products used were hand made which is awesome. Absolutely would recommend.

My first visit was gifted to me for my birthday, but Ive been back several times since because each experience has been fantastic. They have a wide range of services and are happy to recommend optimal treatments based on a quick consultation. I feel like a new woman after a 2-hr massage and apple hydration facial (complete with pore cleanser and LED light treatment!!). Had a fantastic experience at Blue Aloe Day Spa this past weekend! The therapists were incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and skilled. Blue Aloe Day Spa is my go-to spa for facials. Its super clean and always smells amazing. The staff knows their stuff and gives great skincare advice. Ive been coming here for five years, and its still my favorite spa in the area for a good pampering session.

I got a 2 hour massage with Michelle and it was lovely. I have been carrying so much stress in my whole body and she was so in tuned with where the body holds stress that she was relieving spots I didnt even know had tension. I would highly recommend. And add hot stones! Its worth it. The spa itself is in a house type building that made it cozy and unique to experience the massage in.

Update:The owner Nicole was very attentive and called me right away to offer a refund and a complimentary service for the issue. I appreciate her attention to the issue!Original review:Massage was really not great. I could tell my lady smoked bc she kept breathing in my face when I was on my back and I could smell the smoke breath instead of the peppermint lavender I paid for. I kept saying she could go harder and it just wasn’t a deep tissue. Didn’t feel like she knew what she was doing really. V expensive for what it was. Also it didn’t go the full hour. Disappointing.

Today my wife and I went to this spa. Very average atmosphere, which honestly I 50/50% care about. We had a couples deep tissue massage. My wife had Eric and I Kristen. We talked before hand to see what we wanted or need worked on..... I said my biceps multiple times and she never not once massage them I was more than disappointed. However Eric was phenomenal and from what I heard was night and day from my massage. 10 out of 10 for Eric. Kristen unfortunately 3out of 10 definitely would recommend go see Eric

Had a wonderful deep tissue massage with Tristin. Just the right pressure and technique. aromatherapy was amazing too. Staff were lovely and very accommodating.

My husband and I spent the entire day at Blue Aloe having couples massages, scrubs and facials. The staff and owner were warm and inviting and answered all our questions and made sure we never felt ackward or uncomfortable. All services were done timely and completely. The facility was nice , comfortable, private, clean and tranquil. Would highly recommend.

I was in town with my brother visiting for a few days and we decided to try a scrub, facial and massage. We arrived to this very little building and I did have a worry. Then we climbed the stairs up to a sanctuary of peace and calm. The atmosphere was perfect! There was a multitude of choices for the scrub and different massage choices. I opted for hot stones. The ABSOLUTE BEST massage I have ever had! The scrub was not awesome, but the manager gave us a discount at check out as a result, so thank you.I would definitely recommend this business and will return when I am visiting Sarasota in the future.

Ask for Anna and get the hot stone peppermint massage- listen I have gone to a lot of massages in my life and tried many, many of places. This massage is hands down MY FAVORITE. My life is filled with anxiety and this massage just melts it away. The hot stones and the aromas of peppermint allows your mind to stop thinking and just relax. I am making this a monthly self care ritual. Also, go for the 90 minutes its worth the extra $40 dollars, I can promise you THAT. 10/10 stars!

I had scheduled a post op lymphatic massage because I am 2.5 months post op from my lipo 360/BBL so I needed continued help with breaking down scar tissue, reducing swelling and pain on my sides, abdomen and back and what I received was what seemed like just a very light handed relaxation massage. The massage therapist spent less than two minutes on my abdomen and sides and about 10 minutes on my back. The rest was just my exterior limbs and shoulders and face, which was nice, but not wanted I booked for unfortunately.

I have left a 5 star review here before but it just keeps getting better every time I visit. I cannot say enough about the Blue Aloe Day Spa! As soon as you enter, the atmosphere is very peaceful and calming. The owner Nicole and her amazing staff truly know what their clients want and everyone leaves with a smile. This visit was for permanent eyeliner for my friend and I from the beautiful and very talented Marlene Fleetwood. She is a very knowledgeable licensed permanent makeup artist. She calmed my anxiety about the process by explaining each detail, every step of the way. She definitely makes you feel very relaxed and comfortable. My friend and I are both very happy with the results! Imagine every time you look in the mirror and your make up is there, EVERY TIME, effortlessly. Your eyes truly pop! Such a lovely experience that keeps getting better! The expansion at the lower level makes for a more relaxing experience for guests. The foaming acne face wash is handmade and amazing! I had a hydrafacial and the aesthetician used the foaming acne face serum and I loved it. Now on my second bottle and still loving it!

I have Eric for my lymphatic massage sessions and he is excellent. It is relaxing and I feel a lot better afterwards. The staff is friendly. They expanded to a ground floor area that has a nice darkened waiting area for those who prefer that ambience (I know I loved it!)

My fiance booked me a massage since he was working on my birthday and could not celebrate. The environment was very soothing, the masseuse was wonderful, and I definitely felt relaxed after my completed session. I came in tense and jittery because too much coffee and it was my first actual massage. I left with a smile on my face and feeling quite at peace. I guess that is is what TRUE relaxation feels like. What an amazing start to our Moms vacation. My sister in laws take a trip once a year to Sarasota this year we decided to get started with a massage. There were a few places we looked at but the prices were better and they had a wider variety of services. Walking in you are surrounded by a calming energy, very zen which I loved. Staff was very warm and welcoming. Eric was my massage therapist and OMGGGGG. He was perfect. Eric asked me questions to address any concerns/problem areas then got started. He is very talented and even educated me on the body, knots I had and how to relieve pain if I had it again. Eric has a very bright personality and I loved the conversation we had. (I’m a chatty Kathy) Everything from the massage itself to the environment was perfect. Eric has years of experience in massage therapy and really knows the body. If you are looking for a wonderful but relaxing time stop by Blue Aloe Day Spa! We certainly will be coming back!

The photos of this spa are very misleading, you walk in and the man at the front desk was smacking on candy and checked me in as the wrong person who was already there.The masseuse started off by laughing after I said I just wanted a massage did not have any specific areas in pain. As well as she couldnt lower the massage bed so I had to jump up onto itShe also yelled at the alexa for 3 minutes and it did not work, she talked the entire time very loudly and would say things like wow this crazy this spot is so tingly things you do not want to hear during a relaxing massage. Which was not a relaxing experience at all.Maybe it was an off day but do not recommend,

Our appointment was at 12p but we weren’t seen until 12:15, then the massage ended at 12:57... Im not one to complain but if youre paying good money, I expect the full amount of time. Wouldnt go back due to that issue specifically. Theres plenty of other spas around to choose from.

We loved going here and the services were amazing. Came here for a bday for my sister. Four of us and we had massages & facials with a charcuterie board & mimosas. Was a very relaxing fun experience. Sadly we dont live here so it may be a while before we can come back.

I received a gift certificate for my birthday. Imagine how excited I was viewing the website. I, however, could not set my appointment on the website. When I viewed my gift certificate, it went to a page advertising fall treatments. A pumpkin infused massage and photo of a green apple talking about a dermabrasion hydrofacial ,etc. I wanted a 1 1/2 massage and the hydrofacial. I felt the massage was lacking .I then went on to what I assumed would be my hydrofacial. The facial was relaxing .The esthatician informed me we were done. I stated I thought this was a hydrofacial? She proceeded to show me her phone . This is what I have you scheduled for, and you would have to ask for an aquafacial. I went to check out, and when I raised the fact, I did not receive what I thought the front desk said. Oh,I must have misunderstood you. Thats my fault. No I am sorry or let me discount your service.

First time visiting Blue Aloe. Had a facial with Silvia and a massage with Jill. Would highly recommend both of them, and I’ll definitely return to this spa again.

I just had permanent eyebrow job done by Marlene. I was in doubt about getting something permanent on my face but OMG!! The result was amazing & I love my new eyebrows!! Marlene was so kind & knowledgeable to answer all my curious questions before & after, also has this magical sense to know what kind of shape or color can compliment best for my own face. It saves such a time to get ready for a work or going out! Loving them!! Viva permanent eyebrows! 🤟🏼

Went here on short notice they had an available opening that worked with my schedule!! I took it. Totally worth it the masseuse did wonders on my shoulder and gave tips on how to help it and relax the muscle will return again

I always get the 60-minute combination massage, and each time I am put to sleep, only to wake up feeling refreshed and relaxed. Leah is a god-send when it comes to massages. The atmosphere is amazing, its always so calming and peaceful, and everyone is so friendly, and I just love the quaintness of the spa, the look and size make you feel right at home. And so does Nicole, the owner. Due to my ever changing work schedule I dont get to go as often as Id like, but I NEVER go anywhere else...I love coming here, and soon Im going to try other services and will be also be bringing my daughter along for a mother-daughter spa day. I know shes going to love it too.

This place has amazing therapists! I had one of the best massages ever here. Sadly I forget her name, but she is amazing! We connected energetically but she was also just a fabulous massage therapist and listened to my request and really helped with my pain!! My only issue is the other clients were not required to wear masks (in a county where thousands are still testing positive daily). It is a very cute and quaint place and seriously they have amazing massages. Next time Im down here I will definitely be back!

Went here last minute with a friend! The staff was so accommodating and worked it out for both of us to get two 60 minute signature massages and two body scrubs, both services were AMAZING! Went there to get some kinks out of my back and some relaxing and left feeling so great. I had Tristan, she was awesome. Super detail oriented, nice and professional. The prices are more than fair as well!

I had a wonderful experience at Blue Aloe Day Spa and wanted to take a minute to write a review as it is a new business in downtown Sarasota. Very relaxing and therapeutic ambience as soon as you walk in. Courtney, who I received an hour long massage from was extremely talented and profressional. Very clean and quiet. I am so thankful that I found Blue Aloe Day Spa to get my lip and chin waxed every few weeks. The customer service was superb. Nicole did a fantastic job waxing my lip and chin and it didnt hurt one single bit. Blue Aloe Day Spa is very clean and the decor inside is beautiful with a modern look that makes the customer feel warm and welcome. I absolutely love the atmosphere! Nicole was extremely friendly and was very careful waxing my lip and chin. There was no hair left on my lip or chin and it felt so smooth and soft afterwards from Nicoles great service. Blue Aloe Day Spa has a new customer with me, I will continue to be a regular customer and cant wait to try a facial! My sister and I decided to do spa treatments with each other for Christmas instead of giving each other gifts. We did have an issue with our experience but the owner, Nicole, took care of us above and beyond. And if you can book anything with Marlene - dont think twice! Book it!

She also explained the process of body wraps and advised me on how to get the best results. I really appreciate the gesture and will definitely consider coming here next time I’m in town.Original comment:I had a body wrap treatment done here. The therapist used very little product\mud and a very thin layer on my body. She missed too many spots too. My skin wasn’t left “silky” or anything, in fact, it was very dry when I was done. I expected to leave with a silky smooth skin but I didn’t. I felt like I wasted $90 for nothing. The lady at the front desk didn’t even bother asking me how was my treatment.

I have been here several times for facials and massages. I always come back. They do a fabulous job.

Where to start? Bluealoe spa is so special to my heart! They were able to accommodate my bride friend in the beginning of March and made sure she felt special at all times. I love that they hand make all the facial products, which is very important to me that I can read all the ingredients, plus who does not love a adorable packaging and labels! Not to say how affordable all the products are. I am so Grateful for the amazing Hearts and mind behind the spa and brand! I recommend this to everyone without a doubt!

The prices for serves are reasonable!! My massage therapist was professional and gave one of the best massages I have ever gotten—-and I have gotten many massages in the past!! I like deep tissue massage and she was skilled and worked out all my kinks! The spa was relaxing and decorated beautifully. The owner was friendly, helpful and accommodating. I highly recommend getting any spa treatment here.

This was the worst massage I have ever had. I paid for 90 mins and only got 55. When I spoke to the owner, I told her to look at the time stamp on my credit card receipt to verify. She said she would and never got back to me or gave me a refund. I just wanted to pay for what I was given instead she over charged and doesn’t care about her clients. Go else where when looking for a spa this place is not relaxing and overpriced.

My husband & I came here for a couples massage, which is absolutely amazing. We were given wine & taken to a beautiful privately set couples room where we had an awesome massages. My husband bought me a facial that I had after that was really great too! Good prices, cute spot, top-notch service.

This little spa sets others aside, as a Sarasota native this spa is truly charming.Leah was my massage therapist, I booked a combination massage (60m) along with cupping. I should have vouched for a 90m because the massage was just so good. I’ve had dozens of massages and Leahs massage sets the bar high. I left the spa feeling, relaxed, refreshed and recharged. I will definitely be back and highly recommend Leah!

My SIL and I had a massage and facial day at Blue Aloe Day Spa. The massage was amazing, I left so relaxed! The esthetician doing our facials is clearly very educated on the products, and that showed in her walkthrough with my SIL. She has never had a facial and thought it was sweet of the esthetician to take the time to tell her about the products and what they were doing for her skin.The spa is small, cute and clean! The small, cottage feel is not for everyone. But I appreciate it over the large, corporate spas that dont treat you as special :)Overall, I would (and do) recommend Blue Aloe to my friends and family. My sister-in-law and I have already planned a day back!

I had a hydrafacial with McKenzie 5 weeks ago, and it was wonderful. I immediately booked another hydrafacial with her & was informed two days beforehand I had been switched to Pamela.The service I received today was NOT a hydrafacial. Not even close; no vacuuming, no hyaluronics, no microdermabrasion. It was just a basic ok facial; not what I booked & definitely not what I wanted. I kept thinking: surely the hydrafacial is coming next. It never did.Largely, it was an emollient waste of time and money.Extremely disappointed.

I was really looking forward to my hydrafacial appt and with all the reviews, I really expected my appointment to be top notch. However, my esthetician was 30min late. My appt was at 10:00am and she didn’t arrive until 10:30am. The front desk told me she added on something extra for me waiting. The room was not set up accordingly. My esthetician stated that she didn’t like the current machine that was in the room and on her way out the room, she knocked it over and spilt water everywhere. So at the end of my appointment I had forgotten that she didn’t clean it up and stepped in it with socks on, had to leave without my socks. Many times during my appointment the esthetician had to leave the room and bumped my head each time. Third to last step of the facial, I’m not sure what it was, the rollers were set too high and I jerked my head away bc it burned the left side of my nose and cheek.I was looking forward to a relaxing self-care kind of appointment while on vacation and it was not what i had received. I’m not sure when the appointment actually started with the esthetician running around and readjusting the room, but my appointment ended at 11:30am.The added on scalp massage was lacking. Just some scratches on the head and light pressure for a minute. Even with hair extensions, I’ve head better scalp massages.Lastly, proper care during red light therapy was not taken into account. I was not given any goggles to help protect my eyes, but instead cotton pads only.

I was very much looking forward to an appointment that I made for a massage and official with derma planning. I guess booking less than 24 hours prior should have given me my 1st clue. The massage for the most part was pretty good. She used great pressure on my neck and my back but it seemed as the more she did the last effort she put into the massage. The derma plain and the facial totally different story. The girl who did the facial and the derma planning was extremely young and it showed in her experience. She tried to derma plain off my lip In several places. She also used different pressure all over my face. At the end she continued to say Im sorry my boss made me give you an extra 10 minutes. She definitely was new to the industry As I have had dermap planning several times in the past. Definitely a disappointment.

BlueAloe is all that a Day Spa should be...Relaxing, Tranquil and Serene with staff that go out of their way to ensure you have the best treatment possible.I dont use products with harsh chemicals, so when I saw that they offered natural products and therapeutic quality essential oils, I knew I had to try it and I was impressed! Even my husband commented how healthy my skin looked after my facial.

I just came into the spa today with my wife and got the couples spa package. It was a Christmas present from my wife and it was one of the best spa experiences Ive ever had. I would recommend this spa to anyone looking for a local and professional spa in the area.

Let me begin by saying, this is a real review. Real customer. Real experience. My husband and I had a massage and body scrub. It was really relaxing! My favorite part was how they keep the mood very relaxed which some other spas tragically fail at. The massage technique was also very pleasing. However, the price changed from when we were on the phone scheduling to when we went to check out. It was probably a miscommunication/misunderstanding but customer service should be a #1 priority for a small business. I can tell you that I wasnt treated as such. The services doubled in price. The price came from an advertisement and verbal confirmation on the phone. We recommend confirming the price before receiving the service. How awkward! It should be noted that Nicole called back after we left and said that if we spent more money we would get what we initially agreed upon in addition to the promise to change the wording of the advertisement to avoid future confusion. We did not take this offer because what was done, was done and now it was weird to even go back. We wish your business the best of luck but you should change customer service practices moving forward. At least there was an apology?
