Come a little early, stay a little late (unless you are the last client of the day, then scoot pronto). The spa is set right within St. Aramands Circle in Sarasota, making it the perfect place to escape for a day of pampering. The massage offerings are lovely. The store features fresh Florida style clothes. I wish there was more space in the day spa area to sit and relax before or after services to enjoy the relaxation and surroundings. We were the last appointment of the day and were rushed out, as they close promptly so we had to walk out through the employee garage and figure out how to manually operate the locked garage gate by ourselves after our service and if we couldnt, Im not so sure the elevators were going to let us get back into the day spa because it was closed at that point.The therapists and technicians were lovely people, many of whom have amazing stories if you ask and are willing to listen. I hope they are well compensated because they are not only good at their respective services, but they made us feel like royalty and are inspiring, kind people.There is a small seating area to sit in before or after your services. There you can enjoy complimentary herbal tea, champagne or mimosas.
My girlfriends came into town to hang out and I searched best spas in Sarasota and this one was picked of the several options that I provided to them. It was an absolute dream. The ambience is fantastic and my massouse was GREAT. She was a little woman, so at first I didnt think shed be able to give me the pressure that I needed, but boy was a wrong. I believe she was previously a chiropractor. She was super great. I would go back there in a heartbeat! Well worth the money and next time I would get a more extended massage (I ONLY did 50 minutes this past time).
Ive visited The Met Spa several times and each experience has been truly wonderful. I highly recommend Kelly Maharaj for reflexology and Anna for facials. Both professionals have consistently delivered excellent service, leaving me feeling rejuvenated and well cared for. Their expertise and professionalism are top-notch, and Ive had nothing but positive interactions with them. I am definitely looking forward to my next visit and can confidently say that if youre considering a visit to The Met, youre in for a treat!
My husband and I have been going to The Met for several years for massages. We live on St. Armands and what a treat it is to walk to our appointments. We go once a month and are always treated like we are family in the most favorable way. We are greeted with a smile at the desk, escorted to our services and treated like royalty by Kelly and her group. We love the spa and have sent many of our friends to Kelly for massages. She is so wonderful and always knows just what we need. Just stopped by today and Monica dropped what she was doing to help me pick out a gift for a friend. They always have such beautiful products. I had the pleasure to experience the Met Salon on St.Armands Circle. The building itself is absolutely beautiful and the salon is upstairs above their gorgeous retail store. The entire staff was welcoming and professional. I was told it’s a family owned business and you can tell that the staff has been there working together as a family. Kelly was my masseuse . She was lovely and the massage was the best I have ever had. They offer other services as well which I will definitely go back to try.
I have been a client at The Met for many years and have had multiple services, all excellent. Jennifer has been my nail technician for years and she is the best! She is such a skilled professional, her attention to detail is amazing. The reception staff is always pleasant and helpful. Jodie has been cutting my hair for years also and I won’t go anywhere else for a haircut. Recently I had a massage with Megan and I was very pleased with my experience . I highly recommend all these services at The Met.
My wife and I have been coming to the Met Spa for over a year and we both love it. We get massages and spend some time to enjoy the tea, complimentary champagne or Mimosas. The facility is spotless and the staff is well trained and friendly. We have always had excellent service and we will continue being regular customers. The surrounding area is very nice with restaurants and shops for hanging out before or after our time at the Met.
I was introduced to The Met Day Spa Salon and fashion around 15yrs ago. Most of my closet is from the men’s department, Great brands and personalized service,Beautiful spa and salon upstairs. Isabella gives a wonderful pedicure and Jodi gives a great hair cut. Excellent service.Many of the staff have been there years which says a lot about the owners ( who work on site) and management
We really enjoyed the spa and especially the hospitality that was shown to me and my family that was visiting. The atmosphere is top notch and Kelly was amazing at making us feel welcomed and comfortable. We will never forget this experience and look forward to visiting again soon.

Her experience and professionalism are unmatched.If you are going to the spa to have a manicure or pedicure, Jennifer is who you want. She loves what she does and cares about her patients. You wont find a better tech anywhere else. If she notices something wrong - shell let you know what it is and gives you ideas on how to treat it - or will just tell you to go see a doctor. One of my favorite places in sarasota! The shop on the 1st floor has beautiful clothes and the spa on the 2nd floor is lovely. I have been going to the spa for over a decade for massages. There are so many great massage therapist there. My go- to massage therapist is Kelly, she is FANTASTIC! not only does she give an amazing massage but she is also very sweet. The ladies at the front desk are also very sweet 🙂. Definitely visit The Met if you havent
We took a return trip to the Spa for massages from a few years ago and it didnt disappoint. Both times the staff was very friendly, clean facilities, and felt like a million bucks after our massages. My only knock on not giving 5 stars was for them to carry plus size robes. I had to pinch mine shut and run through the spa, which was more of a nuisance than anything. Aside from that, I really do love this place.
I love everything about The Met. The best fashion boutique and spa in sarasota hands down! I live on Longboat Key and the store/ spa is super convenient with the best selection of women’s and men’s fashions and impeccable service in the perfect environment. I go to the spa for skincare, massage and hair (blowouts, cut, color) and have always walked out happy. Having worked in the shopping center industry for years, I pay close attention to detail. The Met listens to clients and responds accordingly, no detail is spared. One stop shopping where the owners know your name and the staff treats you like family!
From the friendly faces checking the spa customers in, to the terrific massage therapists, to the offer of champagne or water after the massage, this is really a nice way to pamper yourself. I have been going to Kelly for my massages for 15 years. Her massages are consistently the best!
Very cute and classy salon. I just stopped in for a trim and a blowout, but my stylist Lauryn did a fantastic job! The staff was very welcoming- an overall very lovely experience. I will definitely be coming back.
I’m happy to say that the Met in Sarasota is my new go to salon! Having moved here recently, it has been difficult to find somewhere and someone to trust with my hair. Lauryn at the Met salon is just incredible and I am happy to say I have found my new hair home! Lauryn styled me in an updo for a black tie wedding just a few weeks ago and absolutely nailed my look. Since then, each hair appointment I have with her, she sees my vision and leaves me feeling so confident! Cannot recommend Lauryn and the Met enough!
I have been a regular customer for many years . Jennifer is my favorite manicure / pedicure specialist… they are all great !! However , I love love Jennifer H. because she is a truly professional, very detail AND most importantly she has such a calming, soothing effect on me. She knows when I need to just relax or when I want to laugh & chat … she has a crystal bowl of his own !!! Truly a beautiful person inside & out !! I highly recommend her!!Update: I don’t know if I was running behind bc of the facial or what but I felt very rushed at the nail appt. I felt like my mother-in-law got all the works and I might’ve gotten half. Plus the nail tech I had seemed to be distracted by surroundings other people didn’t really focus on me until she painted my nails even then I didn’t get a hand massage or the soak like my mom-in-law. On top of that, the shellac mani I got PEELED off after day 5. So much for having that for 2 wks.

Worst service of any salon in the area! I scheduled services for 3 people, two massages and one facial. The two people with me were brought back right away while I waited. I didn’t have my phone so I didn’t realize how long I was left waiting. After 50 minutes someone stopped by and asked if I had a service scheduled. There was a “mix up” on timing and I sat there without getting assistance. They offered me a free glass of wine as if that was supposed to make up for being ignored for an hour! Before leaving they promised to put a note on my account for a free massage on my next visit. Of course, when I called to try to use this credit I was told there was no such note. I was told they could “try to fit me in and maybe give me a discount“. If you have endless time to sit around and not get service, give them a shot but there are plenty of other places with better customer service.

Today I came in for a tension tamer and the hand/foot reflexology with Jim. I’ve been coming for 5 years and never knew they had male massage therapists ( happy they do, I’ll be sending my husband for sure !). I wish I knew about him sooner. He was the best, absolutely excellent and very nice. Ill absolutely be back to see him.Ahava is my 2nd favorite. She’s who I usually see and does a very nice job as well.I haven’t been to the salon section of the spa for a service but massage and facials are always very nice. I always recommend coming here over anyplace else.

I went to get a massage here. Every other spa (especially one labeled “day spa”) I’ve been to has had many amenities such as a sauna, hot tub, resting rooms and sometimes even gardens. I asked a woman who worked there the day before my appointment if there were any amenities such that I should come early and plan to stay later than my appointment (meaning all day). She said yes and then listed a shower and hair dryer. Thoroughly disappointed by the lack of amenities despite it being labelled a day spa.

Jodi was top notch! I stopped in on a whim frustrated with my current haircut/style asking for a consult. I was given an appt for a few hours later. Jodi was personable, knowledgeable, helpful, and took her time to explain all that she did and why. She educated me, cut my hair to better meet my needs, and even showed me a few tricks for Florida hair. Thank you Jodi for your time and attention to detail. Also very pleased with the friendliness of the receptionist. Highly recommend!
I give this store a five star rating,I experienced professional service that was above and beyond anything I have ever known , they go the extra mile in customer service!I unfortunately had a return and they made it as good an experience as purchasing something which to me is a real sign of genuine customer satisfaction and care.Amazing manager and staff, Bitsy was fantastic.
I booked a prenatal massage. I arrived for my appointment and they tell me they don’t have me at all for a massage. Another employee steps in says she called me to tell me the massage therapist was out sick. But I didn’t receive a call & she proceeded to call me Jill the lady she indeed did call. Then asked me if I wanted to still book. After she kept calling me by the wrong name and insisting she called me. I guess I should have read some of the other reviews because I’m not the only one with this kind of experience.

Was walking around St. Armand’s and came across The MET. Fell in love with the decor and floor of the fashion house. (Addison) the spa manager was extremely helpful in touring and providing information of the services provided. I received the digital spa menu via QR code. I plan on coming back, will update post.
I have only positive things to share about my recent visit to The Met Salon. 🙂 Victoria at the front desk was personable and helpful from the moment she answered the phone. My hair is “a lot” and I called last minute in a bit of a bind. Victoria and stylist Jodi made accommodations for me and set me at ease.As a lifetime resident of Sarasota, I knew about The Met, but always felt intimidated by the grand entrance and fancy reputation. I am so glad I followed the recommendation of a friend and gave them a call. Stylist Jodi was exceptional on her attention to detail and follow-through. She didn’t cut corners and I felt well-attended and welcome the whole time. Also, their hot tea is absolutely delicious.
WOW! Here on holiday from London, England and managed to get a slot in to get a deep tissue massage. Kate P was the young lady and she is very good and all staff were helpful and very kind. I’ll definitely be returning before the flight back to London, will also have to tell my masseuse that she has competition in Florida 🙂. Highly recommended 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Cannot speak to the actual services provided, as they never did indeed happen. Called and set up an appointment for a hair cut a few days before my wedding- nothing crazy just wanted to make sure I was cleaned up. Arrived for what I thought was a 10am appointment early (9:30am)- so called them to ask if they’d be able to get me in early (otherwise was going to grab a coffee, it is in a cool location). The receptionist told me that the appointment was at 10:45am; which felt wrong, but she insisted that it was 10:45am- so I went and ran errands for the hour. Received a call around 10:15 asking why I had missed my 10am haircut. They could not accommodate me @10:45 (despite what the gal I spoke with had said.. my guess is she just confused the names or something) and my schedule could not make the alternative time proposed. Yes, it was a simple mistake on their end- but it did end up costing me the ability to get my hair cleaned up before a pretty significant life event. Lesson learned about putting trust in a never-before-used business.
Booked 2 massages 3 weeks ahead and cancelled day of. We didn’t get a phone call so found out when we walked in. They did not try to reaccomodate. Unfortunate as seemed like a nice place but very poor service.

I was in town from NYC for the weekend on a business trip and needed a major stress reliever. I experienced nothing but top notch professionalism from the first phone call to check out. The location is perfect, the establishment was clean and organized and I received probably the best massage of my entire life from Ahava! If youre ever in Sarasota and need a good rub down you will be hard pressed to find any place better. Ahava was amazing. Shes been doing massage therapy for over 18 years and it shows. She knew exactly what I needed and was very personable and knowledgeable. Id give her 10 stars if I could!I recommend the deep tissue massage from Ahava.
My 50-minute massage with Ahava was utter bliss. The pressure was just right, and I instantly felt relaxed and calm. Plus, Ahava had wonderful tips of things to see and do for me as a first-timer to Sarasota. Scheduling a massage with Ahava will be tops on my list when we return to the area. And I loved browsing the store after my massage. They carry the best brands, like Agence, Etro, Samantha Sung and more. Everyone who works at The Met is gracious. Love it!
I wish I could give this place negative stars. Exorbitantly overpriced and the massage therapists I’ve had have all been awful.
If no stars were an option, that is what i would select to rate The Met. The employees that work the main floor of the retail area were beyond snobby and rude. They immediately judged my mom and I because we stopped in while walking the town, and were not dressed to their standards. They barley gave us the time of day or helped my mom who was shopping to find a dress for a last minute event. After searching on our own, someone finally came and asked if we needed a room. We were in there for about 25 minutes and not one employee came to check on us or ask if we needed help. We felt beyond disrespected and ended up leaving. On our way out my mom noticed an outfit in the window, and was desperate to find something last minute, so we went back in and asked where that outfit was. Immediately, we could feel that the employees energy shift as if we were an inconvenience to them. One employee told us there were none left, so i asked her to check the one in the window. This sparked her attitude to go from a 7 to a 10. She proceeded to walk to the window and checked the tag of the outfit and rudely told my mom the size and cost, insinuating that she wasn’t going to spend the amount of money the outfit was. This lady had no idea how much my mom was planning on spending, because she never asked about one thing my mom was looking for, and was clearly was judging us based off of our appearance. For a store located in the heart of a tourist area, the employees should really have a more opened mind as to the customers that walk in there. At the end of the day if you are an employee at a store, you treat everyone with the same kind of respect and dignity and not make the costumers that walk in feel like trash. I would never recommend store to anyone or give a cent of my money to those judge cruel woman.
I just called to set up an appointment and oh was this is a challenging experience. The receptionists were curt, rude and impatient. Kept interrupting my sentences and seemed very irritated that I was asking for help to locate the name of my previous stylist. They said they had a new software system. I have heard this one before! My mom and I have been going there for a long time. I realize that the salon is busy, but that is no excuse to treat customers poorly. After this toxic interaction, wont recommend to friends and family. Honestly, the easiest thing in the world is to be nice to people. Give it a try, Met!!

My husband was looking to send me for a spa day. He found The Met and told me to sign myself up for The Ultimate Day at The Met ($695). First of all, there is no way to make an appointment online, everything says email or call us (hello, its 2022). Second, looks like there are only packages available, not sure if they have separate services as I was hoping to build my own package. Despite frustration with the limitations of the web site, I called to make an appointment. Was met with a gruff exasperated employee that said Ill have to get back to you....and it wont be today! She took down my information and I never heard back from her again. Looking at the reviews, Id say Im not the only one who has been treated rudely. I dont need to work this hard to spend money at a business. When you are in a service related business your first priority should be SERVICE. The owner, Geoffrey Michel, seems to read these reviews. Not sure why he hasnt addressed the attitude and lack of competence of his staff/reception. Time for me to find a spa that actually wants my business.....
I treated myself to a spa day including the body wrap/ vichi shower, facial, massage, and a blow out. In the beginning of the day there was not room for a blow out but the front desk girls and Linda (hair stylist) managed to fit me in. I’m a Sarasota local and will only go to The Met for my spa treatments. Several members of the staff have worked there for 15+ years. I think that is very telling of how The Met is beautifully run- this shows in their employees down to the customers. I’ll be back next month for another facial!
I visited The Met Spa and Salon for the first time looking for a good hair stylist since I just relocated from Naples to Sarasota. I have a very difficult hair and someone recommend Marlen for a Brazilian Blowout treatment to smooth my hair and make it easier to deal with. I am beyond happy with the results and the work she did on my hair, she was so oriented to detail and very educational because it was the first time I had this kind of treatment done. I was also very pleased with the rest of the staff and the place is beautiful I recommend this Salon and specially Marlen to anyone looking for a great hair stylist and colorist.
I will start off by saying this review is for the customer service (Danielle) at the salon desk only. My stylist is awesome and has been for the years Ive been getting my hair cut there.Danielle, however, is not. Every single time I call for an appointment and speak with her, regardless of the time of day, I am asked to provide a number for a call back because my stylist is incredibly booked. Oooooooooooookay . . . does that prevent the next available appointment time from coming up in the schedule? I am confused.Regardless, when paying $95 for a trim the customer service should reflect the price point.
We reserved 2 massages for our anniversary and we’re only in town one night. When we checked into our hotel at 12:30, I called to confirm our reservation time (which I thought was at 3:30) on the call we were informed that one massage therapist was out sick and they could only do our massages one after the other instead of the same time. No one was even going to call to tell us. I just cancelled both. Not happy
I was at The Met today for a Mother’s Day present spa day! What a wonderful experience, place, and feeling. Kelly was an amazing and wise masseur who started my physical experience with the Sedona mud wrap. Holy s$@t. I felt like a caterpillar and emerged as a butterfly. Her sundari massage was just as epic. Then Anna hit me with the best facial I’ve ever had and was every bit as epic. I will be back. From check in at the desk to leaving through the boutique, this place is 🔥 and the entire staff were professional and friendly.
Had my hair done yesterday by William and the time and patience and pride he takes in his work is amazing, and it showed. It looked absolutely gorgeous and I woke up today and it still looked fabulous. He is the best in so many areas. So. A big Thank You William for always making me feel so important and looking so good ❤️

Having just recently moved the area I was looking for a salon to do a toner on my balayage highlights. I was put with Linda who was very nice and pleasant. The initial toner made no change to my hair and she offered to tone it again which I was a little reluctant about but agreed to. I now have a lovely green cast to my highlights. Their solution was for me to come back up and have it done yet again. I politely declined and asked Linda what products/colors had been used on my hair. I was not told the truth given what Linda and I discussed during the process. So brassy girls beware … you too can pay $60 for green hair at this salon. If they try to put you with Linda, pass. She doesn’t have the skills necessary to at a higher end salon.
Fabulous shopping!!! I have not tried the spa services but am considering doing so. Bitsy was my personal shopper and very knowledgeable about the awesome inventory they have and a keen eye for mixing and matching. I explained to her the event I was shopping for and she was all over it. I really like the fact they get only one size per line, so special. I certainly did not leave empty handed HA! I left very happy and now have a great contact for future occasions! I can hardly wait to shop here with Bitsy again!
I am done with this salon! I would not recommend it to anyone looking for pleasant, reliable service. I have gone to The Met hair salon, weekly, for the past 4 years and have put up with as much as I could. For some reason they are incapable of giving me a standing appointment. How difficult could that be? Two weeks ago, I arrived on Friday for my standing appointment, only to be told that I didnt have one. When I asked, at the desk, why I didnt have an appointment, I was told I dont know. That cavalier attitude is typical. No big deal for them. This incident would have been understandable had it been the first time, but this was the 4th or 5th time this has happened to me over the past 2 years and no one on the staff seemed the least bit concerned. The only reason I stayed was due to the efforts of my stylist who did all she could to make me stay. She got another stylist to attend to me.My stylist, Linda, has been wonderful, as are the other stylists, but the support (reception/scheduling) staff is ill mannered and incompetent. As a high-end salon, I expect the staff to be helpful and welcoming. The attitude at this salon is neither. I spend about $4,000. a year in the salon and they couldnt care less.As the owner, I would think Mr. Michel would make the changes necessary to correct this incompetence. I have looked at several other Google reviews of his establishment and I am by no means the first to complain about the staffs bad attitude and sheer lack of class. When I opened the reviews, the first 3 were bad. Mine will be the 4th in a row. How many others have also had unpleasant experiences but have not given reviews and simply not returned? How many new residents have read the very negative reviews and decided not to use this salon?I dont have a problem, as I have found another salon, but it appears Mr. Michel does.
I always love Linda Benskes cut, color & blow out without fail! Linda is an amazingly gifted professional in her field! I feel so blessed to have found a stylist with such knowledge, artistry, and pure talent down here! I highly recommend her!

My sister-in-law & I had an amazing shopping experience at The Met just after Thanksgiving! We were in town visiting family & wanted a shopping excursion.Clara Villanueva greeted us right away & was SO helpful & inviting! Clara went above & beyond to help us—make us feel at home—and with our brood of people to boot. :) She offered great suggestions for me with my outfits & made it easy for me by suggesting we mail the items back to Denver. All of my items arrived perfectly last week & I’m OH SO HAPPY about them. I will MOST definitely make it a point to schedule myself for some shopping time there (& with Clara hopefully) upon my return to Sarasota. You’ve created such a lovely experience there! I also appreciate that none of your staff were pretentious.I’ve noticed at other nicer boutiques that sometimes staff seem to be taught to be “too cool for school”, which I’ve never understood. As a first time client, I called in to book my appointment for a hair color & cut & style. I was told the price would be around $150. When I checked out, my bill was $290, almost double! I was shocked, and asked if there had been a mistake, After looking again at the menu of pricing, I was still unclear why I was charged this amount, and I have short hair! Yikes!!! guess I won’t be back…

Recently visited on vacation and had an amazing massage with Kelly!
To my surprise The Met Retail & Day Spa lacks customer service appreciation. The owners care more about the outer & inner shell of the place and not what really matters to the clients.Customer Service lacks in making the client feel appreciated & welcomed, their lack of proficiency between treatments is awful time management scheduling skills, over-all manners, feeling appreciated for the expensive services paid. Improvement is needed in these areas for the clients to feel at ease, comfortable, not waiting between 45-65 minutes between treatments, computer skills are also lacking in knowing their own software program.The retail store lacks customer appreciation, as well. Their personalities are just ‘blah’ and the clients are offended ignored due to their chatting among themselves. It is obvious whoever does the interviewing and hiring lacks in hiring retail people with charisma.The hair stylists are great, but don’t have the necessary tools handy to perform their work of art. In my opinion when you pay high price dollars you expect the best and not for the stylist to go around hunting for products because they are shared and not that each stylist has his/her own inventory of products readily available.I personally will not return after spending almost $600 for services and waiting 45 minute average between treatments.Definite improvement is needed! Owners need a wake-up call.
However now want to share my disappointment with The Met spa on Saint Armands. 1st do have to share that I was using gift certificate that my husband gave me about 2 years ago & I called to confirm last year & again before I booked for my B-day services and was told they do not expire. I enjoyed the getaway package purchased by my sweetie, which also included gratuity. However, I was went to check out, was informed that the cost of the package was now quite a bit more! Needless to say, all the lovely pleasure now went to raising my blood pressure. I feel I should have been told when I booked that my older gift certificate would now be worth less & prepared to pay the difference. I might have chosen a different array of services. After disputing and front lady going to back to check, was told that they would honor the service package, but not the added gratuity. Knowing that those do did my services should not be penalized by this development, went ahead & gave them my credit card for $50+ to cover this. Very disappointed and will NOT be going back there again. Although a shame as the service people were very nice & good.
Bought a shirt and jeans from there in May 2021 shirt ripped within 1 month which they exchange d but I had to give cash as they did not have a replacement and only thing in there was more expensive, I paid but bad taste. Less than 2 months later the jeans ripped at the seam, upon returning I was told that they believe I ripped them and were not interested in helping me. I was first told by assistant Sam who I insisted got a manager for me to talk to, I was then met by the owner Joffrey who told me he wanted to make me happy but insisted I had done it. I am 50 years old and have owned several pair of jeans as you can imagine. I also live 45 mins away so taking anything back there is a pain. I never complain but feel customer service was none excellent and they really do not care. I have lived in Sarasota over 25 years and have spent thousands $$ there. NEVER AGAIN AND I WILL LET EVERYONE KNOW.Wow, I was going to come on here and say how they did replace the jeans and everything was good until I read the reply. At no time was I aggressive with his staff but I did tell the salesman I wanted to speak to a manager and was told no one could see me . I then told them I would wait until some one was available. I truly believe you were not given the true story and came Into the conversation with lies you had been told, all I wanted was the jeans replaced, no confrontation and definitely no lies. I am NEVER rude and these are the first things I have EVER taken back in my life. But you were told a story that you obviously believe. Trust me if I had been aggressive you would have known. Disappointed with your response and attitude. I also understand which sales person is responsible for your misconception of me.
I’ve been going to Hrvoje for color and cut for a decade and I love him! After moving from NYC, it took so long for me to find someone in Sarasota who would keep my color natural and my cut fresh. I thought it would never happen! And then I found him. I’ve recruited several of my friends and now we all root for him! The customer service we all receive there is also top notch, from Monica on down.And PS- the fashion house is amazing! If you’re 20, 30, 40 or 50, you’ll find something you love and an honest crew that will tell you when to buy and when to move on!
Never been here but after making reservation online with their online reservation ending with someone will be in touch the next business day to confirm online reservation. 3 days later and no call I decided ok an overlook Ill call them to confirm. I originally spoke to Sophia for a little information before booking since I was setting it up for 3 people. We all wanted facials Sophia said, we can only do 2 facials in the same time frame . Well today when I had to call them to confirm my appointments set for the middle of May Monica said, we can only do one facial in the same time frame.Since no one seems to be proficient regarding knowing there policy plus no return calls to confirm reservation online even though there software states you will receive a call. I feel I havent been to their establishment and there is too much confusion. Id rather go somewhere else to be safe instead of chancing wasting money on people who in my opinion , first impressions they come across incompetent. Customer service needs some work in my opinion.Ok Ive changed my review from a one star to a 3 star . I stopped in had a quick massage while I was in town it wasnt bad the location is great the people were friendly so if you call instead of using their online site it made it much more pleasurable dealing with setting up an appointment
I got married on Sunday the 10th of May. I am from Ohio.I had set up an appointment for my daughter and I to get our hair done, and my make up. So I took a chance with trusting them for the biggest day of my life. They didnt let me down!!! They were amazing Jodi knew what she was doing and worked well with my 6 year old daughter. The service was outstanding. To top it off the price, well lets just say I thought I should have paid double what they charged me for the service I recieved. Thank you for making my day that much more special, and saving me money😁

I received an 80-min deep tissue massage by Eva - it was by FAR the best massage I’ve ever had in my life. She was so knowledgeable and professional. Highly recommended!
I have found it very difficult to find a stylist here in Sarasota that is talented in corrective coloring,Marlen is the first stylist that understands and can follow thur with meeting my requests.Its very refreshing to know that she is available here at The Met for my needs.
Wife was happy with facial but front desk and communication is very poor. Called the morning of appointment to surprise and pay for it took my card info and guaranteed they would make it special. To my surprise they charged my wife and when I called seemed they could care less.
Got a great suit here, a wonderful experience from start to finish. We have been looking for a high end store for my business suits and were happy we found not just any high end store, but the best one in Sarasota!

Wow!! Just experienced AMAZING customer service! Today my mom got to use her bday gift of a spa day at The Met. I scheduled a mani/pedi for myself the same time as hers (because what else is a daughter to do?!). I arrived a bit early and since my mom finished her facial early we were able to sit and chat a bit. Betsy was amazing, making sure we had mimosas and little things to snack on. My tech was running a bit behind so my mom started without me. A bit disappointing, since we didnt get to sit next to each other at all during our time, but not the end of the world by any means.So the GM of the Met just called me because she heard something didnt go according to plan and wanted to make sure I was happy (I literally left 3 hours ago). I explained it really wasnt a big deal at all and told her how happy I was with Betsy. She put a note that the next time I go, I will have a free paraffin wax with my mani/pedi.HOLY COW! I am so touched at her attention to detail and wanting to make things right. Its really good to know good customer service still exists. Talk about a complete opposite from Spa Hollywood who told me it was MY fault for my hair falling out an hour after their stylist finished since it was humid that night (December) and I went to someone who had never worked with your hair before. If you ever need a good spa/salon, skip Spa Hollywood and go directly to the Met!!

I have tried reaching out to The Met Fashion house for over 2 Years! Facebook/emails NO Response. I inquired with Sam on 2 occasions which now I am sure my information was thrown in the trash the moment I would walk out of the store. Very disappointed in this stores communication! No wonder their Facebook page is hardly ever updated.
Workers are awfully rude and unfriendly. would never go back, telling all friends and family to do the same. id expect more considering these prices.
My wellbeing massage with Kelly was amazing! She pays attention to every little detail and really makes sure that you can fully relax!
Had a great message from Jim. He did a wonderful job and I feel fantastic. The spa is very posh and feel very pampered. I would highly recommend a message and visit for other services.
Today, I stopped by The Met for its annual garagesale. Let me start off with saying that the majority of clothing in this place is 50 and up,and the small amount of stuff they did have for me hardly fit.After searching for about an hour I found a pair of pants and one blouse,it all started when I noticed the same woman was constantly behind me.First,I thought we had the same taste but soon I realized after a period of time she actually work there and was falling to make sure that I wasnt stealing(At that point I realize it was time to go). I got to the register and there was a lady in front of me and three women behind me.I waited for about five minutes for the lady to cash out and as I put my things up on the counter the three women behind me pushed past me to the register,and the women acknowledged them instead of me,by Beginning a conversation with them,and turning her back to me. Im in completely ignored me. I waited for a few more minutes thinking this might be a mistake but after about three minutes and the women constantly joking turning her back and completely looking through me I realize that she didnt actually want my business . Now Ive heard that the women at The Met are called the Cs of the Circle. But didnt realize until now why. Ill give you a hint its a four letter word. I will never return and will make it a point to never have anyone Im associated with either.
Body wrap felt like a warm hug and the Vichy shower was off the chain! Quality service and very affordable. This will become a monthly trip!!
TL;DR If you like your hair don’t let Linda Benske cut it.I had my hair cut by Linda Benske and cried in my car for 30 minutes afterward. We agreed on six inches off, with layers and framing around the face. She showed me where she was going to cut my hair to and I asked if that was for the front layers or if that’d be the length in the back, she assured me that would not be the length in the back and was only for the front. She then proceeded to cut my hair that one length all the way around. Rather than six inches, she cut ~ten maybe twelve, there were no layers, there is no framing of my face.I’ve gotten a similarly bad cut only one other time in my life, when I made the mistake of going to a GreatClips to save a buck when I was in college.
I just took a tour of the Met Salon and it is beautiful! Great ambiance and professional staff. Julan Rios gave a tour of the spa and Denise Hendez was very helpful demonstrating The Mets make up line. Definitely worth a visit!
Great experience here with Geoffrey as our guide. Lots of fun outfits, especially for men. Great touch with some bubbles and lovely music to vibe to while you’re shopping.
Beautiful spa experience and the shopping is very high end. The salesman, Sam, was helpful and friendly. We will go back.
