This beautiful studio has it all! Absolutely beautiful large space, very classy, very comfortable. Studio has a very professional and in the same time personal approach. All dance instructors are amazing dancers and can train anyone from beginner to advance, any age and any level. Personally we have been enjoying going to Imperial ballroom dance studio every week for the last two years and it has became our second home. Everyone is so nice and friendly, truly welcoming atmosphere and we absolutely love ballroom dancing ! We feel like improvement that we have made is tremendous. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone who wants to dance.

Imperial is by far the best ballroom in town, hands down! I took lessons with Alex Maslanka last year and it was such a great experience! He is an incredible dancer and an even better human. So humble and approachable. He prepared me for my first performance at the Imperial Masquerade Ball and he put so much heart into our routine to make sure not just me, but all his students felt important and confidant. I’m so happy I made the decision to call and book a lesson. I assure you, no matter the age or genre you are looking for, you won’t be disappointed. My husband and i have had so much fun learning to dance with Alex. He’s crazy talented and super patient with us when we struggle to remember the steps and confess we didn’t practice. 😆 He even figured out how to get my husband to move his hips by telling him to channel our sassy teen daughter. This Studio is Phenomenal! My daughter has taken lessons here for the last two years , she has been working with Alex Maslanka for the past year and a half. He is an outstanding dancer and teacher. My wife and I came here wedding dance lessons last year and it was absolutely worth every penny. Our instructor was Alex and he was amazing! He was so great at explaining what our dance would look like depending on what song we picked and helping to choreograph loves that impressed all our family and friends but were super easy! Since our wedding we have gone to multiple Friday night dance party’s at Imperial Ballroom and they have all been so fun! Everyone that works here is so amazing and talented. We feel extremely fortunate to have discovered this remarkable place where our 7 year old daughter has been taking classes with Imperial Ballroom dance company. Although our daughter had taken dance classes for a year previously, there was a year -long gap before she started attending this studio. The Instructors were able to help her recall the movements and get ready for the competition in just two weeks. Our daughter has already participated in her first in - studio contest and did an excellent job, all thanks to the fantastic Instructors. This studios instructors use a distinctive approach that is effective for both adults and children of different skill levels. They are always well prepared and organized. We were so inspired by their innovative teaching techniques, that some of the adults in our family also started taking dance classes. We went to Imperial Ballroom to learn our first dance. We got paired with Alex who was an exceptional instructor. He was so kind, talented and helpful throughout all of our lesson. This was my first time actually formally dancing and Alex made us feel so comfortable. Our first dance turned out amazing thanks to him! My daughter works with Alex and he has been amazing. Such a fantastic coach that knows how to push and challenge the student while also making it fun and enjoyable. I took lessons at Imperial Ballroom a couple of years ago for my mental health. It was something I have always wanted to try and it really helped pull me back toward true happiness within myself. I was lucky enough to have Shelly as my instructor and she knocked it outta the park. My husband and I are a competitive couple and have been students together at Imperial since 2016 (he started with them a few years earlier). We travel two hours to their studio in Scottsdale regularly because the instruction is excellent. Group classes are fun and energetic, and I’ve witnessed great choreography for wedding couples. The staff are all top notch teachers and great people; they care about their students and strive to bring out the best in them. Whether you want to up your game on the social dance floor or in competition, you cannot go wrong at Imperial Ballroom. I definitely recommend them!

I just wanted to update my review since my coach has changed and want to make sure he gets the credit he deserves. Alex is AWESOME and has taught me so much in such a short time! Everyone is so professional and friendly. It truly feels like a community here.I started taking group classes here back in January and loved it so much that I signed up for private lessons. Everyone at the studio is amazing and so friendly. They truly make you feel like family here. The studio owner might also sneak a little chocolate bar into your pocket during your lesson! I highly recommend starting their beginners social classes if you’re looking to have some fun. I can definitely see myself coming here for a long time!

We’ve been taking lessons at Imperial since 2019 and what a fantastic experience it has been for my Wife and I. The instructors are all so good, but the best part is how friendly they are! From couples lessons so you can learn a basic dance or two all the way to being able to compete in dance competitions if you want to go further. We started with some simple Country, Swing and Waltz, and best of all now, when we go out to a wedding or a place that has dancing, people think we’re amazing dancers. Who knew that could happen?!

I was invited to a sparkle party with my friend. This was my first time at the Imperial ballroom, and Alex was very kind and helpful in showing me some Dance steps. Everyone there was was very nice and I had a great time

This is a dream come true! In the middle of Arizona desert - most real, very classic and amazingly vibrant community of dancers - of every level, age and culture !!!! Imperial Ballroom Dance Center is a constellation of world class teachers and competitors and their spirit of highest standard in the ballroom tradition is absolutely contagious. I am beyond excited for my daughter to be dancing with and around the stars several times a week! It is priceless to watch how through dancing she develops into a very fine lady that can handle challenges with grace and courage. Tuesday nights group classes are our weekly routine now and we love it!!! Thank you, Imperial team - you are the best !!!

Imperial Ballroom has been a place that I have not only grown up in but the only Ballroom that I hold dearest. There has been so many memories here and will continue to be making these memories, with all of the amazing, kind, and caring teachers, especially Inna and Artem as the owners of Imperial Ballroom I want to give you a great thank you for making this home that I grew up in so comforting and welcoming like never before. I have learned so many things in this studio that no other studio could give. A place to build confidence, happiness, friends, and so much more.

3-Oct-2020 --> If you havent seen the new location, you are really missing out. HUGE UPGRADE from the previous studio! Love Inna and Artem, best studio owners ever!I am a computer geek by trade and have no rhythm in me whatsoever. I have been to some of the group classes and I am impressed that the instructors are able to teach me how to dance due to the fact I mentioned above.Great atmosphere, great people. I have not committed to full time 1 on 1 lessons, but I am definitely thinking about it as they are making me dance better each time I attend the group classes. I may be brave enough to take my wife dancing if I keep this up!!!

Our 11-year old has been taking classes there for the last 4 months. In this time, she made remarkable progress and has moved up from the first level group to the second. She can actually dance now several dances quite well, it is stunning! We love the instructors, the studio and our daughter made friends there also.As another reviewer noted, most instructors do compete themselves, so if you child or yourself are looking to compete at some point in the future, they bring real dance competition experience and the perspective.

Imperial Ballroom Dance Center is the great place to learn Ballroom dancing from the best. All instructors are world class professionals, who are well known, and it is an extra bonus to dance with someone who is that good. The studio is nice and bright, and the selection of music is excellent. Highly recommend to anyone, and by the way, they have great introductory package.

For me it is one of the best Ballroom Studios that I have ever used. Their knowledge their expertise and their kindness, give you the confidence and the ability to want to do more. I had a pleasure to take gance lessons from Inna snd Artem and it was the best experience ever! They are professionals and know how to deliver their knowledge to students. Absolutely love this place! I went in for private dance lessons (with my boyfriend) that I purchased on groupon and was shocked with how much I enjoyed the experience. The staff/instructors (and owner whom I met) were so welcoming. They went above and beyond for us and for the first time in my life, got me excited about dancing! Hope to be back, cant rave about this place enough :)

I had a wonderful experience of dancing at Imperial dance studio. I learned so many dances such as ballroom, Latin, Swing and Salsa. It corrected my posture by having my back straight. I was in a group class always. They make sure that you understand each and every step. You get an opportunity to partner up with the teachers and get an idea of how to go about the steps.

This is quality dance instruction by professional dancers. Beautiful studio and amazing dance floor. There is something here for everyone....Competitive dance classes, social dance class and childrens classes. Im a woman of a certain age and a beginner taking lessons in Waltz and Tango. My instructor Okeksiy Buravenko is doing an amazing job at teaching me correct technique.....yet making me look forward to every class. Im having a ball!!!!!

Shelly is amazing: she is patient, enthusiastic and extremely knowledgeable. She truly wants to see you succeed, and pushes you to be better.
