It was my first time visiting CS and I had a great time! I wanted to give a shout out to Matt, the bartender. He truly made our experience so fun and he’s the reason we will be coming back.Bonus: The Dj was playing great music 🙌🏽

Wife and I have been there a couple times and had a great time each visit. Great service, great atmosphere, DJ playing good music and overall low key but fun vibe without going to an obnoxious bar or club. Will be going back soon with a group!

Happy hour was awesome! Atmosphere was good. Great food choices and friendly staff. Our bartender Mia was very accommodating and friendly. Liam also introduced himself and checked in on us too. All around great place with great food. We will come here again!

I came here for the first time to have a few drinks with a friend. The experience was generally good, service I would say was excellent because of our server Jailene. She was super sweet and corrected a very slight mistake with our order without me having to ask. It’s the little things that go a long way 🩷😌

The best thing about this place was the attentive and friendly service. Unfortunately, the food was incredibly mediocre. The chicken penne in vodka sauce tasted like the sauce came out of a jar, and the chicken was a completely bland, overcooked chicken breast diced up and dropped on top of the pasta and sauce. The dish looked unappealing and the taste confirmed it. The prime rib dip was overcooked, unseasoned steak on a generic white bread roll that tasted like a hot dog bun. No flavor at all. The au jus dip just tasted like salt. The best thing we ate were the garlic parm chicken wing appetizers but only because there was some flavor. Anywhere else the wings would have been a disappointment. At times, the music was too loud for conversations at our table. They dont seem to know if they are trying to be a restaurant, a sports bar, or a place to get your pre-club drink on. They charge a 5% venue fee which is really a credit card fee because they take it off if you pay cash. Overall, just a bad experience.

First time here last night. We found Chaunceys place surprisingly awesome. The HH food and prices were superb and the atmosphere is a 5+. Super nice and efficient wait staff plus, I watch sports at many places and this is by far the best. They even had full sound for NBA game #3. That was the clincher of a new favorite for us.

The staff alone has me coming back for more. Add to it the scintillating atmosphere, the tantalizing food and the captivating cocktails... Yeah, you could always go somewhere else, but if you genuinely want to enjoy yourself this is where you want to be. But dont take my word for it. Come see for yourself. Legend

Great place for a bday party. Good food and good service.

My sandwich was lukewarm, fries cold. Salmon salad good as were the Bloody Mary’s. Some items on menu not available due to new menu coming out soon. ? Probably not returning.

Had several great experiences at Chauncey. Delicious food and fun cocktails make for enjoyable dinner and late night visits. Had excellent service from the team and bartender Max. Would definitely recommend!

Nice upscaled sports bar, service and drinks were fine. Food was not good, no taste, I had to add salt from my margarita rim to try and add some flavor.

Great atmosphere, service, food, and drinks! Felt very cozy. Even the outdoor seating looked warm with the overhead heaters! Highly recommend their cheese platter and Kung-pao Cauliflower dish!

EDIT: After COVID this place lost its luster. Food menu is worse, the crowd is worse, and overall not worth it.Original from late 2019/early 2020: This area of North Scottsdale has been needing a place just like this. Its a great hybrid between a bar/club and upscale restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, portions a great size, and the staff very friendly. Seating ranges from tables to more lounge type couches. Imagine taking a bar/club in Old Town and mixing with a nice restaurant. Awesome place to hang out for just drinks or for dinner.

That wall tv is massive! Bar and outdoor area are amazingly decorated. They even have a Louis Vuitton wall. Food had good variety. Service was a bit slow, but the place was packed for the Suns game.

This place is great for drinks sports and small eats! Always a great time. Most bad reviews are based on night time when the person reviewing was the wasted idiot not Chauncey!

I went after 10pm. All I have to say if you want to have some fun go for it. Reasonable pricing

Fantastic cocktail menu, Bartender Joey made and executed perfect suggestions. Dinner was excellent, my girlfriend is gluten free, finding options was not difficult. I ordered the Salmon entree and it was cooked perfectly.

Food is super delicious, atmosphere is cool, service is good. Unfortunately they ran out of Iced Tea and Dr. Pepper, hoping this is because they are still new.

Great service, great drinks, and food was pretty good too! Turns into a fun low-key nightclub in the evenings with a way better crowd than old town.

I love this place! I come here all the time and live behind this restaurant. The food is great and they even updated there menu too. The shisito peppers everything!!! The General Manager and Assistant General Manager run this place very well!! They’ve earned a forever customer.

Our server Aria was awesome, 5 stars for her.1 star overall for allowing people to walk around & try & get people hooked on sports gambling through their referral links.. be better than to allow that garbage in your facility. When I asked the server she said he was there all day doing that.

Great vibe, food was fresh and tasty. Bartenders were friendly and service was awesome. My friends and I had a great time! Ill be back for sure.

Best place I’ve been to in Scottsdale. I watch all my favorite sports teams here and besides the fantastic atmosphere and drinks, it’s the staff that keeps me coming back. Bailey helped me out this last time and her kind attitude and attentiveness made the experience! Don’t miss a stopping by your next time in town.

First time here and food was great! Our waitress Kayla made the food recommendations and they were excellent. Service was great and attentive. Will definitely come back.

Maxine is by far, hands down the absolute most amazing experience at Chaunceys. She has an amazing personality, always go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need. Great looks, great attitude, and great service. Highly recommended

We went for restaurant week and had a lot of fun! Very lively environment, with fun for all ages (we saw people in their mid 20s all the way to their 70s). Lots of sports on, which is always a hit.Food was delicious, service was great.

My boss (Gibbs) basically lives there and it was my first time going the other day. I understand the appeal great food, reasonable prices and super friendly staff highly recommended.

Thr Dj is amazing and the place overall is great. The reason for the 2 stars is no fault of the management, however there are active traffickers here and your life is at risk of you are a drunk female. The women who approached unsuspecting females have evil intentions and I recommend you Stat

Happy hour is not as busy as it should be. They offer drinks and apps for $5-$6. The food is fine but the bartenders and servers are personable and friendly. Night time has a different vibe and the demographics are much younger and less creepy than that other night club nearby. IYKYK

A group of eight of us came. All our dishes were good but way to salty.DJ had very good music but too LOUD.

Table was dirty. Forks and knives dirty, asked for replacements and dirty again. Glasses spotted. Let server know when we arrived that we were not in a hurry and she said that was okay. We ordered from restaurant week menu and dessert was delivered before we finished our entrees. Dessert was supposed to be red velvet cake pops which there were none. The lemon caked pops were not baked long enough and the other flavor was dry. Not the experience we were expecting.

This is our new go to spot! The food is so good. Chicken sliders are great but the Reuben is even better. I’ve been back 3 times now for the Reuben. The Philly egg rolls are phenomenal too.

I wanted to show this place some love because I don’t think it deserves the negative reviews it has. We came here for Mother’s Day brunch and the food, service, and atmosphere were all top notch. We will be coming back frequently to try out happy hours and dinner. Great spot!

Stood and waited for seating anywhere for at least 15 minutes. Gave up and went across the street. Dont know about quality of food or service. I guess dont try to go there on a game day/night 😐

We were there for an event with friends. The food was great. The drinks were decent. The dance floor was packed.

Great place for Happy Hour and appetizers. The cold beer, Philly egg rolls and chicken tenders sliders are excellent. Mike, Mia and the rest of the bar crew are friendly and helpful. I frequent Chauncey Social for all of those reasons! Definitely recommend!!

Stopped in for a Sunday brunch and we had the best time. Beautiful ambiance! Great service and hospitality, thirst quenching drinks (best green tea shots in town), delicious food, and weve decided to plan more gatherings here. Adam the GM took the time to come and meet us and offer up ideas for a birthday. Highly recommended! Youll love it!

Great meal, expansive drink selection, and lots of shareable options. Fun spot and the star of the show was Jailene, our patient, attentive, friendly server with a ready smile, inspired recommendations, and pitch perfect timing. If you are a party of 2 or a party of 20, then you should come to Chauncey Social and hope you are seated in Jailenes section. Enjoy!

We had dinner here for the first time last night & had a wonderful experience! The hostess & manager were super friendly & accommodating. They have mobile plexiglass partitions for smart social distancing at the bar. Caleb, bar manager, was so friendly & on the ball. Service was fantastic, food was delicious & reasonably priced & the whole place was sparkling clean! I dont normally write reviews but I felt compelled to share my extremely positive experience. My husband & I are pretty particular when in comes to dining out & I would highly recommend this little gem. They take reservations too! (Although we didnt know that when we stopped in but they accommodated us right away at the bar!). Check it out!

Chill lounge with a great kitchen and bar. Good happy hour selections. We left early but DJ was setting up around 8. TV wall caught several games and videos. Busy but not crowded. Perfect for sharables. Philly egg rolls, dumplings, and pork belly bao were excellent. Short rib was easy tender off bone. No problem parking but also valet available. Will return.

This place is awesome! The staff and managers are very attentive and the food is amazing. They are being very creative with the social distancing regulation and have plastic divider stands to separate the bar guests. This is the first place I am seeing them and I think they are a great idea. The one thing I wasnt expecting was the loud music early in the night (we were there 5-7P). Thank you everyone! I had a good time at Chauncey’s the other day. Food was pretty solid over all. They have great deals. Mike Rodrigues was on top of everything. Great hustle and good conversation. I will definitely come back due to his service.

Very loud, very crowded, you can hardly talk to the person next to you......but this place has some of the best food I have ever eaten.The little short rib dumplings are incredible.. That item alone is worth a trip to this place.Our server was great. Friendly and attentive.We are definitely going back on a less crowded night and asking for a quieter table so we can sample some more of their food.

UFC a no go as satellites always go out mid fight. food quality went way downhill as has management. Bartenders openly complain about ill treatment from GM and manager to customers at the bar. My friend and I treated with the most disrespectful treatment from management when food quality was poor after taking 40 minutes for one item to arrive of four ordered with less than 20 people in the place. Their brunch is a joke with overpriced mini portions no substitutions. Read other reviews on brunch spot on. I should have taken it as a sign when only three people had ordered food that I should skip the brunch. I used to enjoy happy hour here but there’s nothing appealing here any longer. There are hundreds of choices in north Scottsdale for sports and grub don’t choose this one.

Really really really really really bad service. From start to finish it was so bad and I felt like I was trapped here. We had a reservation for 5 people.. 3 of us arrived first and were sat inside. The other two arrived a couple mins after and got sat outside for the same reservation name. Bad communicationWe didnt get acknowledged for 20 minutes. We tried to go to the bar at the 10 minute mark and gave up after not even making eye contact with a single person. Finally when we flagged down a girl she said she wasnt our server but she could relay our order. Long story short we were stuck in a waiting game and ordered from like 3-4 other staff members who were kind enough to help but none of which could track our server down. After we got food we didnt see our server for 45 minutes. We could have literally left and nobody wouldve noticed. Once again we were assisted by someone who could not track down our server and we finally got the bill. We put our cards in and our server was MIA for another 20 mins. After chasing her around the restaurant she grabbed our checkbook then came back to tell us she couldnt split the payment equally between cards. Truly may be the worst service Ive ever had.On top of it one girl at the table next to us was extremely over served to the point where other guests were physically pushing her away from their table. She attempted dancing and tripped onto the floor, made her way to her table, then started nodding off at the booth. So much security in the building yet none of them were aware enough of their surroundings to make sure this girl left with a safe ride home. Do you hire security guards just for the aesthetic? Because they cant seem to be bothered with making sure guests arent endangering themselves or others. Will never be back. This place is horrendous.

Best dancing spot in the valley with a great crowd and great drinks!! DJ is also usually always on point

Always a great experience here! The customer service and atmosphere are great. First time eating dinner here however, and it was very very good. Steak and noodle salad was WOW! Im trying to figure out why Google only has this place at 2.8 stars. Thats bogus. This is now a local favorite of ours!

This was a great experience. We had been wanting to go for quite some time. We went for Fathers Day. Had a great time. Highly recommend the Mimosa Tower. Food was good, order the chefs pop tarts. They bring out a retro toaster. Nice touch.

Stopped by Chauncey Social and was really impressed with the over all experience. Outdoor seating was well spaced and felt safe and comfortable. The food was amazing. From the time we entered everyone was friendly and helpful. Management checked several times to make sure everyone and everything was on point. We definitely planning returning! Great job!

Despite lots of reviews of bad service. Our service was great and everyone was really kind. The food though (which we got chicken and mashed potatoes) was not good at all. The mens restroom has a guy trying to offer me mouth wash like I’m at a night club. If you aren’t here for a bachelor or bachelorette party and just want good drinks then I wouldn’t recommend.

If I could give this place a 0 star review I would.We had reservations for a brunch on Saturday at 11:00pm. The place was pretty much empty except for 4 other tables but we sat for 15 minutes without a server coming to greet us. We finally asked a food runner if we could get a server and still didn’t get our first drinks until we had been seated for 30 minutes. It consistently took 30 min to receive another drink upon request, we started ordering our following drink as ones were being delivered. Even then the server still forgot to bring them.We got one menu to share between 6 people. It’s advertised for $15 bottomless mimosas, however, you can only get that if you also get the bottomless brunch which is $35. So minimum you’re spending $50. I’m pregnant so I was only coming to eat and still had to pay $35 for one entree that ended up being a bowl of chips with a fried egg on top???Part of the bottomless brunch are “shareable” items assuming this is an appetizer type you can share with the table. When delivered, there was only one item on the plate! How is that considered shareable? One item was described as chips and guacamole but came out with a tiny bowl of “guacamole” which was really just a massive chunk of avocado and a child size bag of completely crushed apple chips STILL IN THE BAG. They want this to have an upscale feel but can’t even open a bag of chips. Not to mention they were out of 5/10 of the shareable items so we paid $50 for nothing we wanted.Our server was too busy chatting with other servers and flirting with some guy the entire time to promptly visit our table. The place was practically empty so there is no excuse for poor service.I’m begging you not to waste your time and money here when there are so many better places near by.

The food is great. The drinks are on point. All of the hostess, waitresses, bartenders, and managers know what they are doing and taking care of everyone. I don’t normally post reviews, but I feel like I should save people from the this place for brunch. The ONLY brunch options are bottomless brunch or the All American Breakfast. We tried to do one bottomless brunch for my husband and I since we didn’t like any of their entree options and weren’t going to eat much. They wouldn’t let us. Then the manager came over and said we could order just a shareable plate, but he would “up-charge us to make it close to $35” because that is the rule. We decided to leave and after we did, we saw the shareable plates were TINY. Went to CBCB and had a wonderful breakfast, bottomless mimosas, and great service.

I went there for a birthday party but was very disappointed with this place for that. It did have many TVs for sports but this was a late party (8 pm) and they had closed the kitchen! They were supposed to have provided a birthday cake for the birthday girl but did not. This place is more suited for a nightclub than small parties. I asked for a menu when I arrived but it never came. Found out later they had closed the Kitchen! Not sure what the problem there was, but thought this was unacceptable.

Not at all surprised about all the bad reviews about the manager, the guys a joke. This place is waaaaay over charging for their whiskey, we got chartered $50 for just a regular pour of whiskey that usually is no more than $20 anywhere else! Nothing special about it! Yet the specialty rare bottle of whiskey was only $35 a pour…now tell me how that makes any sense?? When we talked to the manager about this the guy was so quiet and wouldnt speak up you could barely here what he was saying besides “that’s just how much they charge” worst service ever!!!! And I work in the service industry! I’ll never ever waste my money here again

Ive been here three times. I love the atmosphere of this place. It has a great outdoor area as well that still feels like part of the bar/restaurant. The drinks are great. The food is good. I havent been disappointed. My only complaint, which is small, is the bartender I had waiting on me last time wasnt the most attentive. My previous experiences though couldnt be better.

Please know this review is based strictly on the customer service experience prior to even going to the restaurant. Right after New Years I made a reservation for the patio for 4 people for Jan 31st, so plenty of advanced notice and there were no special notes listed for the restaurant when reservation was made. 10 days prior to my reservation I received a *text message* from the GM stating that since that was the weekend of the golf tournament, there would be a $600 minimum for my table and she would send me over a CC authorization form. Or, I would have to come in earlier and be completely done and closed out by 7:45pm. I was FLOORED. I have lived in this area over 10 years, and never heard of such a thing around the time of the tournament. I let her know I would not agree to the $600 minimum and why was I not alerted to this 3 weeks prior when reservation was made. She apologized and just asked if I wanted to come in earlier. I had not been able to get a hold of my friends that night, and by the timeI woke up the next morning I received an email that my reservation had in fact been cancelled. I just think this really should’ve been handled differently and this review would not have needed to be written. Charging preposterous minimums and basically price gauging your local clientele (who are the ones that will keep you afloat during summer slow season), is not a way to keep or gain new customers. I was really looking forward to trying this restaurant but unfortunately won’t now.

Was expecting this place to be outstanding. Unfortunately it wasnt. Had some mishaps with our reservation. The hostess was snooty and if it wasnt for the managers, we would have left. Once we got situated the server was attentive but half way through she just never came back to fill waters etc. Ordered a couple of the cocktails and they were awful. Didnt even finish them. The food was just okay. Expecting more of a dinner menu but its more of a lunch vibe. The reason for the 3 stars is because of the service and drinks.

The food is delicious and extremely aesthetic! So good for creating content and having a general good time!! Not to mention the servers are Smoking Hot!

Nice place but the food was very mediocre especially for the price. We had the chicken sandwich with fries. The fries were pretty good but I had better chicken sandwiches at Wendys for $3, it was very dry and came on a bun with 1 tomato slice and thats it.Service was awefull. Every time we ask for more drinks the server would forget to bring them. Ask for more ice for ice tea and the server forgot that too. We asked for ranch dressing on our salad and there was none, Salad came dry. We asked the server to split our bill and she forgot that too, I just dont think she listened to the customers.It was Dinner!

We celebrated my wife’s Birthday here and the experience exceeded my expectations! She loved the giant cupcake and bright sparkler they wished her happy birthday with. Good service, good music and great memories!

The servers there were awesome along with the other staff Wasnt real enthused about the menu they had butter pickles on their hamburger and no other choice also had no other choice of cheese other than Sharp cheddar so I ended up getting the French dip which was really good

Extremely loud even with all the windows open; impossible to hear the people at your table. service is sup-par at best, very slow and pays little attention to refills. was seated at table and waited 15-20 minutes for server to come to table and first question was what kind of drinks we wanted to order... viewed people in the bar very intoxicated at 1pm and were continually served more alcohol.food quality is average, however, they do miss with the price point to service size. $8 for a cup of soup...INSANE.not a place that I would likely visit again.

Waited for the longest time to get seated as the place was about 35% full. Got seated, waiter asked for drinks. Got the drinks and the waiter did not bother asking if we wanted any food. Was not checked upon the whole time we were there, it felt like we were ignored and felt like we were second rate citizens. The staff was rude and obnoxious and was just talking amongst one another and not serving anyone.

Came in to watch the NBA finals. Great food, awesome atmosphere and great service. Will definitely be returning for Monday night wing night!

Staff was very rude. Had to wait 45 minutes to get my food. Bouncer was making threats to the younger people around me. I’ve never felt more uncomfortable in my life at a place like this. Would not recommend unless you like being degraded.

Extremely slow service, took 15 minutes to get drinks after ordering. Waited 20-30 minutes to get food and not all of it came out together. Ordered short rib fries and they came out as cheese fries, when we let the server know they brought out a bowl of short rib chili 20 minutes later to put on our half eaten French fries. Ordered a Italian Grinder that took so long we had boxed to go. Got Home to three pieces of deli meet on a stale roll. The GM kept being referred to by server but never once stopped by the table. Trying to be a club but was run more like a diner! Definitely won’t return!Frank

Awesome place that we found by chance but have since been back 3 times in 2 weeks. Great vibe, lovely staff and music is amazing. Love it here, especially on a Friday and Saturday night.

On 12/9/2021 stopped by Chauncey Social to get bit of burger and a drink after work. It wasn’t busy hour. Steelers vs Vikings game on 4th quarter. Two bar tender and handful of waiters. As soon as I sat by the bar the bar tender took my ordered and served me with drink. After my initial order no one came by to ask me how my food was, if I needed more drink, etc…. After waiting for sometime I went to bathroom. When back to my sit after approximately 2 minutes my water and my beer glass already taken away. I didn’t mind and sat to order another drink but no one swing by my sit. The male bar tender passed me three time and severed customer sitting on the other side of the bar. I saw the the female bar tender working on her phone from remote. Raised my hand but she didn’t see me. This is not the first time to witness such a poor services. Not sure if this is the culture of the Chauncey Social or selective customer service. Don’t recommend this place, the service is very poor. They serve sincerely customers whom they know very well. If you are new customer or non frequent visitor they treat you like a stranger with very poor service.

Bought a $350 bottle because we were forced to with a party of 6 on a not very busy Saturday. Had to pay extra for anything that wasn’t canned juice. No chance we finish the bottle. Very disappointed. Treat your customers properly. Lots of empty seats. Not shocked.

Wow... How this place has fallen from grace. Chaunceys Social used to be a family place for people of all ages. No longer. Tonight we went in at 6:00 PM on Wednesday night fo find about 10 girls half naked throughout the entire place. Absolutely disgusting, Chaunceys isnt a club its a restaurant/bar. The GM needs to be fired and hire whole new staff. You commented back saying you tried to keep it out of the way of the guests yet had it in the middle of the restaurant.

A fun, vibrant, and much-needed addition to the neighborhood. After passing by numerous times, we finally stopped in for an early happy hour dinner. The food was great (definitely try the Kung Pao Cauliflower appetizer!), and although Im not a huge sangria fan, I tried the red and it was wonderful - full of fresh fruit! Our waitress Michelle was friendly and efficient. My only real complaint would be that I wish they used paper straws and cardboard to-go boxes, to be a little more environmentally friendly. Other than that, Im looking forward to going back soon, especially for the weekend brunch.

I was very disappointed at the Chauncey Social. It looks very nice but the staff is awful. We waited about 10 mins to get seated the security kept calling a hostess to come to the front to seat us but she was no where to be found. When we finally got seated the waiter took our drink order didnt even ask if we wanted food, when we tried to ask for food he said he would be right back he wanted to turn on the outdoor heating unit once he came back he said all set and walked away. He didnt come check up on us so we didnt even get a chance to order food. Once we asked for the check he asked are you guys okay we said yes? paid and left. I am very disappointed in how everything was handled especially asking if we were okay? and not offering food. He also gave us a pencil to sign our check. I have never been given a pencil before either. I thought this place was way better than what we were offered. Service was just awful

Our party really enjoyed everything we ordered and the atmosphere is really awesome inside and out. Service was excellent except they forgot to bring out our appetizers and the food came right out. Patio is really beautiful and they have some great craft cocktails. Try the Scottsdale old fashioned.

I wouldnt go back. Menu is not clear and they have options on menu that are no longer offered.All of the people in our group accidentally ordered bottomless brunch when we were under the impression just ordering the entree. Ended up paying almost $40 for literally just biscuits and gravy.

Mixed feelings about this place. Cool atmosphere. But you better check your bill. I was overcharged and waitress said, Ummm... yea it looks wrong but Im not sure why. Sorry. This place definitely doesnt warrant the cost. New place with issues to resolve. Hope they get everything dialed in because I would like to go back. Lots of competition for a premium experience....

Really neat social. We were seated in the couch area since we had 8.. nice choice. Our server katelyn was super! Attentive and friendly also. She made recommendations and offered to check on types of alcohol. Happy hour bruschetta is so good! Wish they added a few more apps to HH. Overall a great first time.

Came to watch the UFC fights with friends. Ordered a breakfast burrito that took over an hour to get. Staff wouldnt turn sound on for the fights, preferred to leave the sound on for a no contest Ohio State blowout game instead. Will not be back

This place has THE best food I have ever been lucky enough to try. The environment was nice, although it was packed (probably because the food is so good), it’s a very high quality looking restaurant, with customer service booming through the tons of individuals who had ordered their food. I would recommend anyone who wishes to try this amazing eatery, I loved it so much I just had to let people know how good it was.

It was my 1st time visiting this restaurant. We sat outside since the weather was nice. The food and drinks were good.

I placed an order through Uber Eats. I am extremely disappointed in the experience. They refused to honor it when I showed up— said they made a mistake in posting regular food menu during brunch. They said they would refund … and they never did. When I contact Uber Eats they do nothing. Be warned. Chauncey Social is particular about when they will honor their orders on food services. I am extremely disappointed in the experience.

Went there after leaving a nearby golf course and were seated near the bar. The waitress walked by several times without speaking to us, but at one pass by made eye contact, smiled, but kept walking. After about 10 mins of not being served, we got up and tried to get better service at the bar. As soon as we got up, I happened to notice the same waitress quickly picked up our menus from our previous table. While I was sitting at the bar waiting to be acknowledged, my husband asked the waitress if we did something wrong resulting in her not taking our order and why did she so quickly pick up the menus but never took our order. Her reply was “I have no problem serving you” & “I didn’t see you sitting there”. Since she made eye contact and smiled at me, I know she saw us. We then sat at the bar for another 5 mins while being ignored by 3 bartenders before we decided to leave for good. Not sure if it was our post-golf course attire or our interracial marriage that caused us to be ignored. Either way, we won’t be back & will happily spend our money elsewhere.

Food was delicious. Servers were friendly and knowledgeable. However , ordered the meat/ cheese platter. Now mind you I am aware of Scottsdale pricing and overhead so I understand cost... but... $42 for a meat/ cheese platter, where the main cheese was like 3 lbs. block blue cheese. Ick.Instead of making a HUGE chuck of blue cheese the primary focus on this platter , I personally believe it should be mixed/ portioned better. It overwhelmed the platter and perhaps add pita bread or something with a platter at that cost.

Dont do brunch here!Basically same experience as Alexis wrote. I ordered the Heovos Rancheros and it was an egg with a bit of sauce on chips. Service was very slow. Food orders took a long time and were not really sharable portions.

Not sure what the deal is with the staff here, but the waitress we had last night was extremely rude and short with us for no reason. They charge a lot of money here for food and drinks, and the attitude of the serving staff is just awful. Not sure if it was security or management but the people at the front were also very un-welcoming. The hostess was on the phone when we walked in.

Went on a Saturday at 11. Took 30 minutes from sitting down to get a drink. Had to basically beg for drinks while on the “bottomless” brunch menu. Need to have more staff, one girl waiting on 8+ tables. Poor management.

I rarely ever leave places a negative review but this restaurant is absolutely awful!My mom and I made reservations on their outdoor patio at 5:15pm to celebrate her last day of radiation treatment for her cancer. We even confirmed the reservation prior to coming and that it was infact on the patio. We show up at 5:10pm to check in for our reservation and they tell us that they cant seat us, all the tables outside are reserved (we need to sit outside due to her weekend immune system with covid), despite there being many empty tables on the patio, as well as us also having a reservation! When we inquire about the empty tables on the patio the manager said that they were reserved for guests, and that our reservation must of just been a mistake and he told us that these things happen and we should get over it!We ended up going across the street to Lou Malnatis which was a much more pleasant experience, but we had to stand and wait for a table which wasnt ideal given that my mom was going through intensive cancer treatment and standing can be painful.The crowd at Chauncey Social seemed to be mostly younger, and I would guess the reason they denied our reservation was biased based on our party. Very upsetting all around.

Your waitress needs better training and stop trying to go pick up a boyfriend at her work. Your bouncer needs more training on how to be professional and how to give people’s property. Love the atmosphere, food and employees. Happy hour is entire restaurant, not just bar! Training manager from Chicago was outstanding, as well as Mikala (sp?) beautiful bartender. Our new favorite place near home in North Scottsdale.

After seeing the low review we had to see it for ourselves..What a pleasant surprise! From the food (slamming Cajun Caesar salad.) To the service to the ambiance.I am sorry a bad egg has spoiled these reviews because people deserve to experience this place!

Bouncer/manager has a reputation for dealing with customers poorly. A woman was publicly shamed for using a “fake ID”, when in reality there was nothing fake about it. Good luck if you try eating here, hopefully you will get to leave in one piece.

This is my second time. The first batch of fries I ordered were much better than the second. The wings are very good, the addition of Calabrian chili to differentiate between Buffalo and Buffalo hot is a nice touch. They are buying the celery precut, or cutting days in advance, ergo the dried ends. The service per usual is way below par, they were understaffed for the Lakers and golden state game, and it was not even busy. They’ve had high turnover in the bar program, and none I have seen so far know exactly how to manage 30 bar seats. The hardest working employee in the establishment was the bar back, who should have had the highest tip share. The manager is totally unaware of the deficiencies around her. The wings manage to elevate Chauncey to 2 stars, because I am fairly critical of wings, but the rest of the experience was left wanting.

Bartenders could be a bit more attentive and welcoming ... RBF in lace can only go so far...the venue is beautiful and music made you want to dance all night :)

The place is terrible. $9 White Claws, come on. The place is way over priced. The biggest problem I had was they want to push social distancing but the rules dont apply to EMPLOYEES OFF THE CLOCK. The door guy wouldnt let me stand by the bar but when I asked about the other guys standing by the bar DRINKING. He told me they were employees, but the employees were drinking and off the clock and two feet away from the other customers. DOUBLE STANDARDS

Horrible customer service, food was ok, bathrooms were dirty. Waitress was snooty, questioned whether or not we could afford a certain dish. Took forever to come back to see if we needed anything. The silverware was dirty, we asked for more. She seemed angry that we asked for clean silverware.We wont be going back.

This ambience is good.Allot of televisions so good for sports.Drinks were good. Wine was good.Food was delicious, however very overpriced!I understand charging for charcuterie platters, however when the bulk of the cheese was a HUGE chunk of blue cheese , thats not right.I do not mind paying $42 for a cheese and meat platter, but not when theres hardly any cheeses because the blue cheese chunk overtook the platter. Ick!I know theyre new, so I will try again, but for happy hour. But reccomend really reading the menu and asking questions.

Im tired of coming here and theyre always conveniently out of whatever I order on the menu! They need to order more of what they run out of! Thats the case! Its happened on more than one occasion! I picked this place to take my friends to celebrate their engagement. We arrived on time to find our table wasn’t ready. We made a reservation more than a week in advance. After waiting for over 30 minutes we were asked if we wanted to sit outside at a table that had been available the entire time we were waiting. We said no and went somewhere else.

Cool enough place, basically a coin flip after Barrett-Jackson (other choice was Lou Malnatis)...still got my Friday pizza fix with the flatbread pizza, they were out of fish & chips (which I try everywhere I go)...then the music got a little to loud and DJ-ey .....Having valets (especially 2!) Accosting me in the bathroom was serious overkill....what is this Vegas in the 80s? Couldnt even get to the sink to wash my hands! One guys trying to pump soap into my hand while the other is waiting with a towel to dry my hands! Bathrooms are a private place please!

Our bartender Vanja. Did not put any alcohol in either of our drinks (straight juice). I asked if she was planning on serving the Don Julio before or after. Her face got super red and gave me one shot of a tequila not Don Julio (mind you I ordered two drinks).1) Imagine paying $24 for only juice in both drinks2) Chauncey Social - If youre staffing bartenders such as Vanja who dont want to bother making a drink thats on your menu and feel its OK to charge customers for juice, Id suggest you refer them to the nearest Circle K.3) No it was not busy, no we werent being a pain when ordering, no it was not closing time, no it was not understaffed. Just a bartender that clearly did not care about anything - 4/02/21

The worst customer service. I asked one of the staff to help clear the empty glasses, of which there were several. Was told Im just the hostess and I asked if she could get someone else. She didnt respond. I asked to speak to a manager and the bouncer came to talk to me who told me I was out of line. Dont go here unless you want to encounter the rudest hostess or just be treated like youre the scum of the earth.

Seems your shoddy business practices have already come to light even previously before your most recent fiasco. This place will be closed in 6 months because of the incompetence you have in the form of bouncers, bar tenders, waiters, and managers. Learn to differentiate between a really license and fake, the easiest task of your job, and you completely and utterly fail.

We ordered a couple of the meals from the Arizona Restaurant Weeks menu. Both of our meals were to go and were wonderful. Once things get back to normal, we will definitely be back to check out their other offerings. I would recommend Chauncey Social to my friends.

Food is phenomenal, staff take great care of you and the atmosphere is top notch. Whether youre coming in to watch football, grab dinner, or drinking on a night out, Chauncey does it all.

We ordered a Doordash order at 830pm ans they close at 915pm. We ordered about $60 worth of food after taxes. We orderes the Chicken plate that came with potatoes and another side. We also ordered the Salmon that came with two sides. I am going to assume they wanted to close on time so rather than calling us to let us know they couldnt not prepare th Brick Chicken and Potatoes they gave us a burnt burger with fries and a piece of salmon with a tiny bit of cold corn. We made our order 45 mims before closing. I will never give this place a try ever again. I will not recommend this place to anyone since they can not be honest with their business.

Love it the need more places like this in North Scottsdale and North Phoenix. Drink prices are better then old Town and the service is much better as well. Its alot like the bars in Old Town after 10 on the weekends

Bouncer is always on a power trip and is extremely rude and confrontational to guests. Stealing IDs from guests isn’t good business. Manager doesn’t even step in when the situation escalates enough for the guests to call the police to get their IDs back.

Great food and service. Fun atmosphere but music can make it hard to talk. It was clear they take Covid-19 seriously when I saw them out portable dividers between groups at the bar.

Amber was our server and she was attentive, friendly and very accommodating with all of our nutrition inquiries. 10 out of 10 rating on both service, atmosphere and food!

I’m an Uber driver. Their kitchen was closed when I got there to pick up an order. They said they tried calling Uber. I’m not sure why they didn’t try calling me to not drive there and waste my gas and time. When this happens, I have to call Uber Support and spend half an hour on hold earning nothing to get paid $3 compensation, because if I cancel the delivery they won’t pay me anything. They also could have shut off their app so I wouldn’t have got the order. I feel so unvalued as a driver when I’m put in these situations.

Good food but slightly pricey drinks for what you get. Staff was friendly and bartenders were quick and knowledgeable.

Maybe you all were having a bad day, didnt pay a bill, feet hurt or annoyed with all the beautiful people at Chaunceys. Ive dined at many restaurants in Arizona around the U.S. and overseas and for the style of food and atmosphere you cant beat it. Dont be swayed by the negative reviews, we almost did. This is a restaurant that you have to visit and see for yourself. Ask for Des, he is a great guy and a top notch waiter. Im serious make sure you all ask for Des.

Completely INCOMPETENT and RUDE. The bouncer does not even have the mental capability to determine a real I.D. from a fake one. Furthermore accusing your customers of breaking the law and lying is not how you run a business. It is absolutely sick that a veteran or their spouse would be labeled a LIAR even after presenting their FEDERALLY ISSUED MILITARY I.D.. This defunct bar will soon be PERMANENTLY CLOSED due to their shady and unlawful business practices.

Aggressive bouncer that has a superiority complex. Bouncer harrasses customers and takes IDs (which is not legal) and the manager is doing who knows what and not controlling their employees. Food is subpar. Save your time and go somewhere else!

I’m 33 years old and my sister who is 23 was so uncomfortable from the “bouncer”. She just wanted her mixed drink and the dude acted like she was a criminal and tried to steal her ID. Do better your bouncer needs better training

I agree that the manager should apologize over the issue with ID. I live in Mesa and go to Scottsdale every once in a while and had been to CS pre-covid. Wont bother for a return visit, unless an apology has been made. Good Luck!
