I’ve been going to Habitude for over 15 years and I always have a positive experience. I highly recommend Myrna as a hairstylist! She’s done a wonderful job on my cuts and color and is very personable. My hair has multiple curl patterns (2a-3a) and she takes that into account.

I had a wonderful experience with Megan. She listened to my needs and gave me the exact cut I asked for. She was also a pleasure to talk with - I dont usually like chit-chat, but she was great.

Everyone at the salon, receptionist, stylists, etc. are warm and friendly. This matches the physical environment of the room which is open, airy, well-lit and clean. Habitude has always been one of the mainstays in Seattle and continues to be so.

Such a great experience, from check-in to the hair service. Alysha gave me a truly transformative haircut and style. The best ever, haircut, great style, and the mask and wash were so relaxing!

I did love my cut. But the coloring left something to desired. Although you get what you pay for. If I were to get the color I wanted as well it probably wouldve cost me around the upwards end of $600-$700. I hear thats just what theyre charging these days.

My stylist Virginia was absolutely amazing!She spent the extra time to get my style just right.Cannot recommend more... Will be returning again!

Walked out of my appointment b/c of a combination of a bad interaction with my stylist who scolded me for using box dye when I was nervous preparing for my wedding. Bad interaction was expanded because of a surprise cost increase to my appointment. Walked out b/c I did not want to spend time and money with my stylist. Check your appointment documentation carefully if you book a coloring appointment and know that it will increase if you get a full-head of hair as the appointment booking service only indicates cost for hairline/root touch ups. Also, do not walk out of an appointment even if you dont like your stylist because they will charge you $50 for doing it and wont warn you that they will do it.

Megan is a rock star. She just cut Vs hair and she loves it! I think she looks great too!

Love Habitude. I’ve been going here for years and all their services are what you come to expect from an Aveda spa- the consistency is amazing. It’s a safe and clean environment. Their prices have gone up so I don’t make it in as often, but the complimentary sauna keeps me coming back. Special shoutout to Chau for a wonderful facial!

This spa is absolutely amazing. My husband and I had been looking for a zen den for awhile, and we accidentally found Habitude. As I write this I have just finished my 60 minute essential massage, and took advantage of the dry sauna. Danielle was an incredible massage therapist, so intentional and clearly very educated in body therapy. She was so respectful and warm, she’s great! The massage itself felt complete, like no elbow tendon or face muscle was left out. So relaxing!! We will definitely be coming back to try their other services. I can’t believe we haven’t been here before and we’ve lived in Ballard for years. The staff are so friendly and accommodating, and they encourage you to go slow and not rush out. We needed that vibe today. The showers are amazing and private, I feel like I was just at some snazzy resort spa in the alps. I love the homey feel, the unpretentiousness of the place, this is the best spot for a self care day.

I have been coming to Habitude in Ballard for over a decade. It’s my go to place to treat myself for a massage! I hit the sauna beforehand, unwind as I sip your lovely tea, and enjoy a CBD massage by Corrin (who has magic hands)!

I came in for a last minute haircut with Heather, and she was lovely. I had previously seen Gina who gave me a great haircut that Heather was able to follow so I was very happy with the results.

Had my hair colored...face framing highlights and gloss. Gina was wonderful and my hair looks the best its looked in years.

Smitten with Gina. She’s awesome. We’re on a hair journey together. At my request she is taking me gradually from long to short hair. And from wavy to curly. And from light brown with a splash of blonde to medium brown with silver. It’s a process and she is willing to go the extra mile to get it right. Her years of experience and great listening skills have made this a delight. And Gina’s southern charm and desire to make her clients happy are so appreciated! Finally found my hair person!

I had a phenomenal experience with Sarah at Habitude. I finally got my rainbow hair! She also spoke very highly of the management/owner, and how supportive they were of the stylists learning new things and improving their skills. 1 star lost b/c parking is inconvenient (I parked a couple blocks away on a residential street for free), and b/c I got apprentice pricing but cannot speak to value at full price. I would definitely recommend Sarah as well as this salon.

Fantastic hair care with Loann Mai, my favorite stylist! Great service and attentiveness by staff. Bright, clean, and lots of neat merchandise besides hair products. They have a small paeking lot, and street parking is always ample. I must admit that services are a bit pricey, but well worth it.

I had an amazing experience. Alysha listened to me, asked clarifying questions, and gave me EXACTLY what I was looking for. Well, frankly, it was even better than I was looking for. We had a lovely time together and I look forward to being back in her chair soon. When I looked in the mirror this morning I was so so happy. Thank you Alysha!

I received my second massage from Debra today and it was fantastic. I told her I had a tension headache and held stress in my neck and shoulders and she worked her magic. She massaged my jaw and face which I have rarely had done and it felt wonderful. Then she gave the best massage I’ve ever had on my neck and shoulders. The whole time I was thinking of people I could refer to Debra. I’m so grateful that I found her. Thank you!

Hello, I needed to fix a home attempt to darken the light (white hair) on my reverse highlight. Jordan was very professional and walked me through possible solutions to find the best fit patiently. If my situation was not what he expected, I did not get any sense of it. I am very thankful he had the time to correct my mistakes with a nice outcome. I would recommend him to anyone. Lovely Aveda salon. Went for a moisturizing hair treatment and bought some Aveda products. Alysha was so amazing and took really good care of me. Jordan gave my fiance a great hair cut. Very relaxing and good vibes!

Color service was absolutely terrible- these pics are from after the stylist fixed it too. After she blowdried my hair, I pointed out how blotchy and spotty the face framing color was all the way down and how there was zero blend, just straight lines. She argued a bit with me and insisted on fixing it right then and there, free of charge which good because there was no way I was paying for that service. After the second time foiling, washing, and blowdrying, it still came out terrible but I just wanted to get out of there and schedule an appointment at a different salon for the very next day. The color she dyed my base is far too dark and doesnt match my natural color whatsoever like I asked for either.

The hairstylist was superbed and accommodating to my needs. She did a great job! Highly recommend!

He is extremely talented as a stylist and whether he is cutting, coloring or highlighting my hair, he always does an exceptional job! I absolutely LOVE Alysha. Ive been going to her for a little over a year and I just love what she does with my hair. I always have wanted to try bold colors in my hair (pink, purple, you name it) and the first time I went to her, my hair was a piece of art! Each time we pick colors and I let her work her magic and she never disappoints. The cut and color turn out wonderful and I get compliments on my hair wherever I go. Alysha is so easy to talk to and such a fun person. I look forward to relaxing and laughing a lot at each appointment.

I have been going to Habitude at the Locks for years. They have some of the best stylists there. My favorites are Dan and Vanessa, who have always done a superior job and are kind, courteous, and professional.Even if something (by chance) goes wrong, the management is very responsive and provides excellent customer care.I would highly recommend this place.

I really wanted to like this place.Twice!I will not be going back and would not recommend it.The building, decor and location are beautiful.I booked a haircut right after Covid restrictions lifted and wasn’t impressed. The quality of cut was what I would expect from someone still learning the trade, not from a highly rated salon. I had to cut many stray long hairs he missed, and there was zero shaping or blending. Friends actually made negative comments, and my partner said a should have complained or made them fix it.I live close by and it would be so convenient, so I decided to give it another try today. Thinking I’ll make an appointment with the highest rated stylist. You get what you pay for, right? I waited 30 minutes for my 45 minute long appointment to begin. Told she was just finishing up a blow dry when I got there, 20 minutes later, and when I left without a haircut. I looked, and she was still cutting the previous clients hair and not close to being done.If she is running late, fine. It happens. Tell me and I can decide to reschedule, take a walk or overindulge in social media on my phone while waiting. It is not ok to be dishonest, or flippant with my time. They have a $50 no-show fee for missed appointments. I felt like telling them they owed me $50 outright.I was offered a gift card, but really, do you want to save $25 on any future service when twice disappointed. Or get reliable, quality service that you’re willing to pay for?I declined the gift card and will be looking for a more professional solution.

I had the ultimate facial which included the scalp and feet massage. My estitician was wonderful, and I felt great afterwards. I live in Texas and have not found a spa like Habitude there. I go here when in town to visit family.

Virginia was wonderful and I am really pleased with my cut. I grew my hair out for a year and she was able to cut/style it exactly like i wanted to how it was a previously. I would highly recommend Virginia/Habitude.

Went there for the first time today to get a manicure- SO disappointed in what I got. I’m not sure if the manicurist just happened to use old shellac, or maybe she didn’t leave it long enough in the UV light, but it started peeling in LESS THAN 3 HOURS. I’ve never gotten a gel manicure like this before, I didn’t even know this was possible given how long gel usually lasts. I’m leaving 2 stars just because the manicurist was super sweet and accommodating- too bad the product didn’t match the service in quality. 😒

Ive been going to Habitude for a little bit over a year now and all hair stylists have been great, though I most recently had my hair cut and styled with Jordan and she was AMAZING!!! So friendly and gave me amazing advice to maintain my hairstyle. She listened to all my concerns and recommended the right products that solved all my issues, and she was right! My hair has never been so manageable and I have her to thank.

I have been a client at Habitude for many years. I was also a Member there. I had a $250 Gift Certificate. On July 10th, I booked a 1 hour massage. When I went to pay, my bill seemed significantly higher than my last appointments. The person working there said nothing, there were no postings saying anything was different, so I asked to see my receipt. I noticed a 10% “Service Fee” on the bill. I asked what this was for, and was very surprised as I had never seen this before. I was informed it was for “education purposes.” The next time I went there I get the Ultimate Facial. Then was checking out and my bill was really high this time. I asked to see my receipt. It was another 10% of that total. I was very upset because if this “Service Fee” is for educational purposes, then it should be a flat fee across the board instead of fluctuating (going up) with the total.I have listed other Salon & Spas that do not have a Service Fee, or if they do it is very nominal and reasonable. And I have provided the addresses to those Spas — See below. I recommend giving them a try instead.I own a business, and education and things that contribute to doing business is called the cost of doing business. I do not work hard to price my clients out as Habitude is doing.I did call to speak to a Manager after my service. Nobody answered. I left a message. Nobody called me back. I even emailed them and told them how unhappy I was over this and that it seemed very unreasonable. I never got a call back. I never got an email back and nobody from Habitude tried to reach me at all. Mind you, I have been a client for 10 plus years there. I would never treat my clients like this! I guess they don’t need my business. Will they need yours then? Probably not. Skip them, then. Go where you are valued.So, for example, if you get a Facial for $178. You would tip at least 20%, so that is $36.00, then there is tax at $18.24, then there’s their “Service Fee” of 10% which is $17.00, so you have almost $75 of just taxes and fees before you even pay for your facial!!This is a sneaky and deceptive practice. Here’s why: They don’t warn you about the “Service Fee”. You have to ask for the receipt. No notices. On their website it has a notice that says “Service Fee 10%” and then a button that says “Agree”. Well, I don’t check the website because I have been an ongoing client. Plus, I did not agree to any service fee! Especially at 10%! That is akin to a double tax. I will never go back there again. This salon is beautiful and full of unique gift ideas and different beauty products. Jordan was my stylist and I could be more happier; my highlights are gorgeous and my hair strands are back to health.

I got my first hair cut at this salon with Alysha and I am in love with my hair cut. Alysha is my go to person now for my hair needs. The salon and the people there are lovely. They dont charge you for bang trim if you have a haircut with them. That is a not very common with hair salons

I come here for the spa upstairs. Beautiful, relaxing and very PNW decorated space. If you book a spa service they have tea, water, relaxation spaces and a sauna available. They also provide robes and flip flops to wear around the spa. I love it here! The only non relaxing thing is parking, so try to get there at early to get a spot and enjoy the services before your appointment.

Wowza! Just had the best massage Ive had in the past 5 years (of multiple massages). Recommend you book with Maya at Habitude. Some people just seem to have the magic touch. And when youre booking a massage, you never know if who you are booking is one of them or not. Well, rest assured. If you book a massage with Maya at Habitude in Ballard, youll encounter one of those incredibly gifted people. Enjoy!

Gina is amazing! I had the most stress free haircut, she was so receptive to what I wanted and did such a great job recommending what we could do with my hair. So glad to finally find my go to hair place and hair professional in Seattle! Thank you Gina!

The most relaxing massage I’ve ever had. If you are given the option to choose your masseuse, do yourself a favor and go with Dre. He was fantastic. An hour goes by so quick, though! I want to stay there forever. All the little extras—robe, sauna, tea, oils, scents all add up to a great experience. It is a little pricey, but you get what you pay for. Treat yourself! I had the best night of sleep I’ve had in a long time.

Only got a shampoo and blow dry but had such a pleasant experience. Hot tea to sip while shopping around their cute general gift shop and all of the staff is very friendly. My long hair is down past my waist so I’m cautious about trying new places but my stylist handled it as gently as I do. Will definitely be back, highly recommend!

Ive been going to Habitude on and off for over a decade now. Every single time Ive been there its been clean and the employees have been friendly and professional. It can be pricey at times but I find its worth it to pay a little more to get consistent quality (especially when it comes to hair color!) I have tried many other salons in Seattle with mixed results but here I have never had any problems either with hair, massage, or waxing appointments. Employees and scheduling has always been high quality and dependable.

Chau just gave me the BEST pedicure and foot massage I’ve ever had. I mentioned I was a little stressed from moving, and she told me to just sit back and close my eyes for a few minutes while she did her magic. She is truly wonderful, and I feel so well taken care of! Highly recommend!

PRICINGWhen you call an establishment to find out the cost of services, you should be told the entire cost, including whatever service fees are part of that service. It feels a bit like a scam to be told one price, book at that price, then find out, after you’ve had the service that there is a service fee. So the price quoted wasn’t actually the price you’d be paying.There should also be signage or some indication that you no long accept cash. The majority of businesses are posting signs about this.CUSTOMER SERVICEThe woman who checked me in and then also processed my payment was rude and short when communicating with me.The hairdresser was friendly and conversational.HAIRCUTI received a very light trim and didn’t receive the full cut I asked for. It all felt short and rushed. I have fairly long hair, typically it’s at least 30-45 minutes to cut my hair the way it should be cut. I specifically asked for shorter layers, and other framing elements, from the front to the back.I was in and out in about 20 minutes and it didn’t really hit me how little was done until the next day when I’d washed and styled my hair. I initially felt “wow the stylist was ver efficient!”The cut I received I could have done on my own at home. Now I find myself having to seek out another salon to pay another $80-$100 to hopefully have someone give me the cut I’ve asked for.When I first moved to Seattle I found Habitude and it was a great place for haircuts, this is my second visit in the past year and half, trying different stylists and locations and I won’t be trying again.$100 is a lot of cash to spend on services and feel as though it wasn’t provided.

The environment of the salon was inviting and soothing. The staff were friendly, helpful, and made sure we felt welcome. We had a couples massage facilitated by Candace and Genevieve, who were super professional and created a truly relaxing experience. Cant wait to come back!

Jordan always does a fabulous job with my hair. Shes experienced and efficient; when she gives me a partial hair, I love that it looks so natural --- the hair color I was born with, even though it doesnt come out of my head that way anymore! Also, the way she cuts my hairs makes it easy to maintain. Love it!

Had an appointment here a couple weeks ago, and it was a great experience. It really shows the importance of the style and ambience of a salon for the overall experience. I just really liked the look and smell or the place. The interiors were really cute.Also, I recommend booking with Justina. I always love what she does with my hair, and I always leave an appointment with her feeling beautiful. Shes really great at connecting with her clients and trying to understand what is it that you really want done with your hair. She also shares some really good tips about hair maintenance.

I went for a haircut and essential facial. Every team member I encountered was professional and courteous. I left feeling fantastic and looking like a new man. Thank you Gina and Nikole for taking such good care of me.

Overpriced. Friendly people, good massage but there is an added service charge on top of an already expensive price list, and then a tip ask. The higher price does get one a shower room , robe, and very well appointed waiting area.

Armand was fantastic. He was super friendly, easy to talk to, and made my experience very enjoyable. I never get my hair cut, so I was very nervous to take my thin, long hair and crop it above the shoulder for shorter look.I was worried any attempt to layer it would make me look very 90s or outdated, and I expressed that (with some audible anxiety). Armand listened to me and was very calm and understanding, repeating what I requested and then explaining his idea/plan to me so I felt comfortable knowing hed heard my fears and knew how to give me the look I wanted. On top of that, of course, he created a really cute cut and style and even showed me how I could style it at home with little effort.I styled it this morning and it looked super cute all day. I would highly recommend him and Habitude to anyone!

Ive been going to habitude for over 8 years now. For most of that time I have had Arjuna as my massage therapist. She is absolutely amazing! It feels like every time she does a massage for me, she is doing her best. She has the right amount of pressure and the right everything, she is the best! Ive also had other practitioners who were great! Id recommend Habitude!

Had a great time here and found my new eyebrow lady!!! I was having a rough day and some time to kill, walked in and said just that and they helped me design a mini day spa experience! Got a hot rocks massage, expressive facial, and my eyebrows done. Great experience all around and will be bringing friends and family here as well. (Oh, and they were great with the COVID procedures!)

My sister and I visited Habitude for the first time as a celebration of our birthdays. We had a truly awesome time....loved the atmosphere and all the comforts that went along with the spa. We both had a massage. We were able to pick out our own aromatherapy which suited our moods at the time. This was a wonderful. We each had an hour massage, but of course this was not long enough. However, we had scheduled additional pampering after our massages. My sister got a pedicure and I opted for a manicure. I have to say that it was the best manicure that I had ever gotten. My nails looked absolutely perfect. The manicurist was very personable and gave me some great tips on the care of my hands and nails. I can hardly wait to return. If you are looking for a serene, peaceful and relaxing spa to visit. Habitude is the place to go.

I arrived 15 minutes early for a massage that started 15 minutes late. I was up sold on foot reflexology that was mediocre at best. I would not recommend Habitude for a massage because it was not very good and a waste of $185. I had a facial afterwards that was excellent. I highly recommend them for facials.

Absolutely love this salon! I no longer live in Ballard but I travel just to go to Habitude at the Locks. Great atmosphere, excellent stylists, and above par shopping items in the gift shop. Thanks for being awesome!

I was very excited about my appointment as I was referred by a friend and I just moved to the area. Overall, I did enjoy my experience and my stylist was kind and seemed enthusiastic and confident about my haircut and what she was going to do. However, she then ended up cutting my hair 3 inches shorter than we had agreed upon and ran out of time to style my hair, essentially telling me her next client was here and she couldn’t complete my service and we needed to wrap up. I was quite disappointed and let the receptionist know. She did provide me with a discount on my next service which I appreciated, but my high expectations for Habitude were not met.

I took my bestie to Habitude for a birthday pedicure - we had the best time! Habitude has great ambience and it smells so wonderful. The staff is super friendly and we really enjoyed chatting it up with them. A very relaxing atmosphere that makes you never want to leave... And the wonderful herbal tea they serve is not to be missed.For just a little bit more $ than the smelly, chemical-laden nail salons, you can enjoy a little bit of spa heaven instead!

I had a gift certificate so its the only reason I came in. I color my own hair and have two moms who cut my hair. Luckily I got Alysha as she was the best part of my experience. In a superficial culture Alysha was very real and I really enjoyed our engaging conversation. I will be back, even if its just for a haircut or a smoothing treatment.

I love Habitude, and the fact that I live so close to a salon/spa is great. Ive had my hair cut here, and had a couple massages/facials. Never had a bad experience. All the staff treat you well and I never felt that they were product pushing (but I do love Aveda!). It definitely has this Northwest feel inside. They also have cheaper express facials which I would like to do, and is great because I cant afford to do a full facial/massage often. I would say definitely try to find street parking, their lot doesnt have many spaces and is a little tricky to get out if you try to pull in and all the spaces are full.

Habitude At The Locks is a great place to treat yourself. I went in for a brow wax, cut, and color and left feeling pampered and refreshed. The spa upstairs is very relaxing and quiet while the salon downstairs is a hive of activity. I forget the persons name that did my brow wax put she did a fantastic job and I didnt leave looking red and puffy.Heather did my cut and color which turned out really well. The color was a little more red than I wanted but it really does look great and I have received numerous compliments on it. The cut was spot on and gave my hair a lot of body without losing too much length. All in all, it was an enjoyable experience and I will be back.

I came after a friend raved about it, and now Id highly recommend it too. My stylist offered really helpful advice for problems Ive been having with my hair, and she tested out different products on my hair before we started, letting me see and feel the difference. To top off the great service, I love my cut! Habitude is definitely worth a visit!

I have used the salon and spa services at Habitude. While I did not have the best outcome getting the color that I wanted with my salon experience I will say that everything was handled very professionally.Absolutely love the spa! I have received both massage and facials and they have always been fantastic. Very relaxing environment! Great place to go if youre looking for that extra pampering!

Habitude is the best and I will miss going there. I moved far far away and I doubt I will find a place like it. I have gotten my haircut, massages, manicures, pedicures - yeah I think thats it. The place is beautiful. It is merchandised well. It smells good. Every service I have ever gotten there has been great. Pretty much all of the people I have interacted with have been courteous, professional and caring.

My friend and I go here every so often to get away and pamper ourselves. I love the calming environment at the spa, and they treat you very well. I usually go for massages, while my friend opts for facials. we feel rejuvenated every time, and usually stay for a while after to just soak it all in. the sitting area is nice and peaceful, and I honestly love the nuts and cranberries they serve with their tea. I go back all the time and know it will be consistent, great spa service and just what Im looking for.

Gina is amazing! This was my second time with her. She totally understands my hair needs and puts me at ease. She throughly listens to me when I talk about my hair struggles and has given me great advise both times I’ve been in. I’ll be returning to her for her awesome services and hair care.

Came here for a standard massage and loved every second of it! Wish I had decided to go for the ninety minute massage instead of the sixty minute massage. Professional and friendly staff was welcoming and provided service that went above and beyond what I normally expect to receive at a spa. If I lived in Seattle I would definitely come back, but since I don’t live here all I can do is HIGHLY recommend this place to everyone.

I got my hair done here for the first time this afternoon. I had it done by Jordan and she was lovely. I asked her about spiral curls and she was very honest saying that my hair was too long and probably wouldn’t hold anything like that. I appreciated that I didn’t walk out of there with an expensive, ugly mistake! I got my haircut and a copper gloss instead and it was just what I needed, a little different, clean and updated and overall quite a pretty look. Jordan was efficient and the haircut was quick but precise and professional.My only complaint was that I had to wait half an hour for my appointment. That’s really much too long and I should have been kept informed if that was to be the case.

I had an appointment with Celeste for an all over color. I wanted a chocolate brown color which she did great with picking out the color and the application. After a couple of days I noticed that the color was washing out of my hair. I could see the color was fading so I called to make an appointment and they fit in me in that day! I saw Dan and he was very informative on why the color was washing out of my hair. He did another application and the color turned out great and has stayed in my hair. They both did a great job on achieving my hair goals and it was refreshing to get great customer service.

Ive been going to Teresa for four years now, and have always been extremely satisfied with the results. Shes been helping me grow my hair back from a pixie cut and was able to make all the in-between awkward stages very stylish and edgy still. Shes a great conversationalist, personable and hilarious. I recommend her to everyone.

I had gotten a very bad haircut at another Ballard salon and went to Ryan at Habitude for a fix-it haircut. She delivered that and more. I got an excellent cut and a great product recommendation. She really saved the day. The salon is lovely and I was really pleased with Ryan and the great staff. Friendly and responsive! Look forward to trying the spa services soon.

Ive been to Habitude on a few occasions. The services Ive received during my various visits include (hair cut, color, foil, pedicure) were all nice, and were all at the Ballard Locks location. I didnt find anything exceptional about them, which is why I rated 4 not 5 stars. But the staff was courteous and knowledgeable, and I was pleased with my results. I also like that they offer deals via sites like Groupon which can make it more affordable to pamper myself. I no longer live in the area or else might be a more frequent customer.

I have been going to Habitude for years to get my eyebrows done and off and on for other services. Amanda does my eyebrows and she is very warm and inviting. I have had various people do my hair but have never left feeling unhappy. They all seem to dispense great hair advice from shape to color. I would recommend a morning appointment when it is calm and quiet.

I always feel so zen when I go to Habitude. It feels warm and cozy; I love the scents and the decor. Ive had haircuts, massages and facials, and most of the providers are fabulous. Only a few have been sort of average, and they were still very pleasant. I always feel welcomed, and love that they figure out who I am as soon as Ive walked through the door, and then direct me to wherever I should be. Gift cards and Aveda products make great gift cards, too!

I went to see Alysha for a cut and color for the first time in about a year. I could tell immediately that Alysha was far better than the last stylist I saw at a different salon.The staff at the salon were also very welcoming and warm. I ended up buying some of the Aveda products as a treat for myself and I love what they do for my hair and that the products are clean.

Ive been to Habitude for a massage, a hair cut/color and makeup application and an eyebrow waxing. Each one of my experiences was fantastic. Everyone in the salon is very helpful and professional and made me feel relaxed and taken care of. If I could afford to come here all the time, I definitely would!!

This salon has a fantastic array of staff. While receiving top notch service from my stylist, she took the time to get to know my hair habits, products, and what Id like to see change in them. She explained that my current products arent the best ones and, while telling me of the options in the salon to purchase (without pressure), she let me know the things I should look for in whatever product I choose to get next whether it was there or somewhere else. You can also choose your stylist based on price or schedule with their convenient online booking service. A feature that drew me, a girl on a budget. Also, the price includes tax. So if your stylist is $45/hr, you pay $45. A nice surprise. :-) I made my follow up appointment on the spot at this friendly, clean, professional teaching salon.

I received a gift card for spa services at Habitude.On my first visit, the dazzling array of products, the unique gifts and ambiance impressed me. My aesthetician was excellent; calm, competent and kind. Due to the amount on my gift card, I was able to indulge in monthly visits, which made me feel like a supermodel. Despite my age and typical Seattle appearance (uncolored hair, flat shoes, fleece jacket) I was always treated like a queen. I truly recommend Habitude at the Locks for their 5 star services!

I was a Habitude customer in March. I went in for a haircut and while there decided to get my eyebrows waxed as well. I appreciated the attention to detail by the aesthetician, as well as the ambience of the spa. I was offered a drink when I arrived and also enjoyed the snacks (dried fruit and nuts) that were set out. It was overall a very comfortable experience. I was not as pleased with my haircut. I have curly hair and expressed to the stylist that she should take that into consideration when determining the length. (Because it shortens when dry). The length was about what I wanted, when it was wet. So, after drying was considerably shorter and I was disappointed. It was still a nice cut, just not what I had described. I had told her I would be traveling for awhile, so maybe she thought shed make sure I didnt require salon services for awhile?? Overall, a visit to Habitude is an experience and a peaceful, enjoyable one.

I have been a client at the Habitude at the Locks for several years and in that time Ive had many of their service professionals work on my hair with coloring services, but mainly cuts. I have had a variance of quality with haircuts, but I do feel it is difficult to always be clear with what I want if Im looking to change hairstyles. Im not a person who ever brings in photos or examples. Ive had great cuts from junior staff and so-so from the elite, so it really does depend on the person you see and how well you communicate with them. Ive had some haircuts Ive really loved and one that I hated and had to fix. They do offer free bangs trims, and I always love the scalp or hand massage that accompanies my paid service. I had a color service to color my hair back to a medium brown over bleached out hair and the color did not take really well the first time. Habitude let me schedule a second appointment for free to adjust the coloring and I was satisfied with the results. I think if you find a stylist you like, sticking with them is always a great idea as you build a rapport. I do not get my hair cut often enough for that to happen, so most service issues I have had probably stem from that.I love the atmosphere here and find the pine beams warm and very Pacific NW. The windows let in lots of natural light. The displays are always artfully arranged and I enjoy browsing through their boutique items as well as checking out the latest Aveda and Bumble & Bumble products. I sometimes come in just to browse without having a service done. They participate in Ballards sidewalk sales and art walks, and the boutique always has some items on sale.

Habitude is great! They have a wide range of services to meet your needs and I like that my stylist has stayed at the salon for several years. She knows my hair, listens when I tell her what Im looking for, and doesnt try to up-sell me with color or other services I dont want. Its a relaxing environment and they have yummy tea. If you go upstairs for a massage or pedi then they also offer you nuts and dried fruit. Oh, they often have Groupon or Living Social Deals so thats a good way to snag more for your $.

I have been to Habitude many times for many different services. Everything from pedicures and massages to haircuts, colors and makeup applications. Each time I have left feeling so relaxed and pampered.One time I had my hair highlighted and got home and felt it wasnt quite what I was looking for. I called and explained this to them and they had me back in to do it again free of charge!I will definitely continue to go back to Habitude for all of their services!

I arrived to the spa and was not greeted by anyone. It was a little unclear what to do, so I just stood there like the passive-aggressive North Westerner that Ive become. Staff walked on by, so after a few minutes, I wandered over and helped my self to the water and dried cranberries.Luckily my masseuse, Jeff, came to find me and he was absolutely amazing. He showed me where to find the locker rooms and pointed out the spa that I could have spent time in, had I been checked in properly and shown around by the staff.Jeff is hands-down (bad pun intentional) the best masseuse Ive encountered in Seattle; and Ive tried about a dozen highly recommend places. He was outstanding enough to make up for the rest of my experience. My facial was amazing, as well.I finished up my massage/facial by hanging out in the sauna. Feeling super relaxed, I went into the locker room, full of zen blah blah and was happily pondering over how amazing I felt when one of the spa staff came into the locker room and started slamming the lockers open and closed, not carelessly, but with what I can only assume was real hatred for her job. Zen destroyed... maybe its not a great place to work?

I really enjoy this salon! The staff is super friendly and welcoming and the aveda tea selection you can sip on is delicious. Ive only had hair cuts and color here and I truly enjoyed the time and energy they put into making sure Im getting exactly what Im asking for. The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is that you cannot get out of that place in under 2 hrs and the prices are pretty high. Otherwise, if you have the time and money to use, it is a superb choice.

Ive been to Habitude for a variety of services over the last few years including hair cut, massage, and facial. Every time the service has been great - friendly and knowledgeable staff. The facilities are lovely as well. It combines the convenience of a neighbor hood salon with the pampering of a full-fledged spa. Its the perfect escape for a quick service or an afternoon of relaxation.

I come here regularly for haircuts and have been to the spa. The hairstylists are all great and will redo anything if youre unsatasfied. Today I saw Jordan and she gave me a fantastic cut and style even though I was late; great customer service! The massage I had was only ok, and the masseuse talked the whole time, but I havent been enough to make a judgement either way. The products are also really great but a bit pricey (try the licorice tea!). Overall a great salon!

Very high quality and comprehensive salon, they even have fun jewelry, makeup and gifts.I had my first visit. Being able to seemlessly book, complete and pay for hair, spa and nail services is a bonus.My hair looks great, nail service was top notch, good friendly service and lots of perks-beverages, snacks in spa, nice environment and overall good service.

I have always received excellent service at Habitude at the Locks. I have been able to get last-minute appointments for haircuts and highlights, and if I change stylists they have my colors on file so I get a consistent color. The atmosphere is always relaxing, both downstairs in the salon and upstairs in the treatment area. I highly recommend Habitude!

A massage at Habitude was exactly what I needed the day after participating in a half marathon from Sequim to Port Angeles where the course included roads and wooded areas. I have been going to this salon for years. And absolutely love it!What really kept me going there is actually my husband found a fantastic hair stylist, and she was just so friendly! Not only that, but she really knew how to do my crazy hair. I have crazy curly hair (and a lot of it) and she was one of the only stylist that could actually straighten it!Habitude also carries Aveda product...which in my opinion is the best product out there! I love the smell and the way it makes my hair feel! And whenever I run out of product, Habitude is just down the street from where I live! So convenient!I love local Ballard businesses!

I have been returning to Habitude at the Locks for years ever since a bridal party event. I was hooked! The space is beautiful, the staff always very accomodating and kind, and I feel so refreshed after a wonderful facial or massage. Raven cut my hair today and did such a wonderful job! My first time writing a review for a haircut, that is how much I love my hair.I’m tough to please when it comes to my haircuts so it’s saying a lot. I have lots of hair and even more as I’m 6 months preggo and it looks really, really well blended and pretty. I would recommend her services to anyone. She has 20 years of experience and I think that counts for a lot. I’ve had plenty of good haircuts at Habitude over the last 10 years but really only 2 people have done stand out jobs, she’s one of them - the other moved on 5 years ago.

Great environment, wonderful staff, Habitude has been my ‘go-to’ for haircuts since the first location opened up on Ballard Ave and 22nd. Hair cutters and stylists are top-notch.

A friend and I spent a charming few hours at Habitude at the Locks getting a deluxe manicure. I was impressed by the perfection of the final look of my nails, no streaks, mistakes or hints that the color went on brushstroke by brushstroke. I was pleasantly surprised by the decor inside, lots of wooden details, and hints from the natural world and Indian culture. Everything seemed exotic, from silk pillows to natural-fiber chairs, like on a summer deck. But surprisingly, our fun continued in the giant retail section downstairs! We had so much fun browsing through the bright colors and various textures of merchandise. Quite a pleasant afternoon, just a few blocks from gardens, the Locks and the old Totem House for gourmet burgers.

During these difficult times, Habitude stands out as a company that is open AND responsible to the community. They are 100% compliant when it comes to wearing masks, doing a temperature check at the door and keeping clients 6 feet apart. Habitude has always been spotless, but now they do extra sanitation cleaning between clients and keeping the salon impeccably clean. I feel comfortable and safe going here.

Ive been here many times for many different services. I have always had great massages, mani/pedis and facials. Not a great experience with the hair salon, but I only tried that once and I think I got the stylist in a very bad mood. A couple of years ago, the nail salon area was a bit noisy and could be heard when I was trying to relax between services, or in certain massage rooms (mostly seemed to be employees laughing and talking - not other customers), but I noticed the last few visits it was pretty quiet again. Highly recommend!

I have been to the spa several times, first for the massage packages and more recently for the facials. LOVE them. I think that the ultimate facial is the best because you actually get a good massage with it AND the facial. I left feeling like rubber and it was wonderful to feel so relaxed. With three small kids at home that is not easy!

My masseuse was amazing! She was able to read my body and give just the right attention to all the trouble spots. The spa was lovely and it felt like they were taking many safety precautions to keep clients healthy.

Was able to walk in and get an appointment for the same day, which was great. This salon is a little on the pricier end, average $50 for a standard haircut no color, however it depends on the stylist. Staff was friendly but didnt seem overly concerned about customer retention. However, I was happy to get a same day appointment and was very happy with my haircut! All the stylists are trained and qualified.

Most unprofessional salon I have been to. There was a shooting a Westlake downtown so traffic was extremely backed up. I called to say I was running late and the receptionist said it was no problem and to call if it was later than 10 minutes. After being in the car for over an hour I show up and the parking lot is full and I search for parking. When I walk in 12 minutes late, the receptionist tells me my appointment has been cancelled and I can have another appointment in an hour. I patiently ask if I can just have a cut and no style as this is really the only day that works for me. I have a young puppy and planned my evening around this appointment and cannot sit and wait an hour. She says she will ask the hairstylist Celeste if that can be arranged. She is gone for several minutes (wasting our appointment time longer) and comes back and said Celeste said no. (Guess she was having her dinner). I state that I wish someone had told me that on the phone as I was told being late was ok. She said she will go talk to Celeste again wasting more time. She comes back and said Celeste doesn’t feel like coming out now (very professional). To me an appointment time is an appointment time. I was willing to be flexible with the service itself and it should have been communicated to me on the phone that being late would result in a canceled appointment. Ironically, I went to this salon back in 2014 and had the same problem with my appointment being wrong in their schedule and asking me to come back another day. I wrote a yelp review then too. Don’t waste your time, haircuts are supposed to be relaxing, pleasant experiences. This was not and clearly this location is continuing to have problems with staff. Very unprofessional staff. Celeste, I will certainly not be recommending you or this salon to any friends or colleagues. Hope you enjoyed your dinner!

Ive been a long time customer of the Habitude spa and when I recently moved to Seattle I was looking for a new hair stylist. I called to make an appointment for a full foil and haircut and when I asked about pricing I was quoted $160.00. Overall, the experience was good until my hair was finished. Ive had my hair colored Nordic blonde for the past 3 years and even showed the gentleman who was coloring/cutting my hair several photos as an example. When he finished drying my hair it came out in this awful, brassy, orange-like color. When I went to the front desk to pay, my total was $260.00. I told the front desk person what I had been quoted and she refused to acknowledge that there could possibly be a mistake.I highly recommend the spa here, but be very mindful when booking a hair appointment.

I went in Saturday for the first time and had Celeste as my stylist. I am new to the area and this was the first time in almost 20 years I had a new stylist. We all know how nerve wracking that can be. :) Celeste was very pleasant and did a good job, but, without trying to compare to my last stylist/style, it was not the cut I was looking for. Luckily it was a situation about it not being short enough rather than being too short and is a fixable situation (although even if it was too short, hair does grow). I called Sunday morning and she was able to see me that afternoon. We discussed more in depth what I was looking for and away she went. I have to say, I LOVE IT!! It is pretty much exactly what I wanted originally. Thank you for Habitude and Celeste for rectifying my problem. Im sure youll see me again!

I first went to Habitude for a company retreat. The staff are all friendly and truly make you feel at ease. The facility is clean and they offer many amenities. I got a full body message which incredibly relaxing. I also got one of their facials, which was refreshing. The staff is very knowledgeable and explain all of the different products to you. I will definitely be back!

Looking for a spa or salon getaway in the city? Habitude at the Locks is located in Ballard but once you step through the doors, it feels like youre no longer in the city. From the cute shop area with lots of fun products to the cucumber water or smoothie you can drink while getting your services, its a luxurious experience. Ive had a manicure, pedicure, and brow wax which were all fabulous, and my haircuts there are the best Ive ever had. I highly recommend Habitude!

I love this salon! They have so many talented and friendly hair stylists but Bex is by far my favorite! She is not only super enjoyable to be around and so sweet, but I have never left a salon happier with my haircut than I did after she cut my hair!! She is officially my new go-to hair stylist

Ive used both the spa services and the salon services at Habitude and have had nothing but great experiences with both.The massage services are fantastic - you get a robe & slippers, they use Aveda aromatherapy products with each massage and the therapists really listen to where your problem areas are, how much pressure you like, etc. I feel like each massage therapist that works there has been wonderful and I have left feeling amazing each time. Plus - after your massage you can hang out in the sauna drinking tea (or water) for as long as you need. The showers afterward are great as well.The salon services have been top notch as well. There is a HUGE range of products in their shop as well - both hair products and gift products -which is great if youve forgotten to grab a last minute gift for a party. (Not that Ive EVER done that of course *ahem*)

I loved my spa experience from my first steps into Habitude. I found the staff to be professional and friendly. My massage was excellent! The spa services from the rob to the waiting areas to the great Aveda products in the shower were all an added plus to my sublime spa Sunday!

I love Habitude. The people there are friendly, knowledgeable and highly skilled professionals. Ive been using Aveda salons for the last seven years in the three different cities Ive lived in and have never been disappointed. And this location is especially great because of their location by the Locks (I love to walk there after appointments) and the Offerings boutique (I always find great little gifts there)!

While they may be a little pricey, they are well worth every penny. Ive been there a few times now and have yet to have a bad experience. The upstairs area for massage, steam room, pedis/manis are wonderful. The aromas of sensual stress relieving scents are abound, the massages are deep and wonderful, they leave almonds, fresh water and other snacks for you while you wait and the staff is very friendly. Downstairs in the hair Salon, they give you hand massages while you color your hair! Its just a wonderful place to be for a day. If you can splurge, I highly recommend the Ballard Locks location!

Just went here to have a massage, body scrub and facial and it was divine. The massage was the best I have had in a very long time and the scrub and facial were wonderful too. Was able to rest in the sauna between appointments and enjoy some snacks and tea also. I would recommend this spa to my friends for sure.

I love my new haircut! Kermit did an absolutely fabulous job! He understood exactly what I wanted, asked all the right questions when I gave a vague description of what I was looking for. Not only did he give me exactly the great haircut I hoped for, but he was so friendly and gave a killer head massage and wash. I will definitely be a new regular here with him!

Gina is amazing! I wanted to be brighter blonde the first time I went in and she asked all the right questions to get me where I wanted without damaging my hair. The salon felt safe in these Covid times and Gina was super friendly. Would absolutely recommend Gina for both color and cut, especially blonde. She gets it!

I received a gift certificate for my very first professional massage at Habitude--it was such a great experience that Ive given the same gift myself since then. Its a wonderful atmosphere, and the pampering is total--if youre looking for the perfect gift for someone who has everything, an hour (or a few) at Habitude should go over well...

Habitude at the Locks is a great spot! I can particularly recommend Ioana for facials. She is simply wonderful.They are pricey, but worth it! And often have great deals either through the coupon sites or their own system. Get your moneys worth by going early or staying late and using the sauna. Almost no one does and you are likely to have it to yourself.However, be careful that you are scrupulous about adhering to the terms of any deals or coupons. Ask several times and different people if you are using your coupons in any way that is outside the norm. Take names. I was recently told by multiple people that I could use a Living Social coupon beyond its expiration date as long as I made the appointment before the expiration date. I confirmed this information with multiple sources. On the day of my appointment, I was initially informed that my coupon could NOT be used in this way. In fairness, I did not have to make a fuss--I just stood my ground and stated my case to the manager and the coupon was honored. But I was really glad that I had taken the extra trouble to doubly and triply confirm so that I felt confident my claim was justified.

Always had a great time when Ive been here! The only reason Im not giving 5 stars is that my most recent massage was a little on the soft side. That said, Ive been to both the Habitude in Ballard and Fremont numerous times and would unquestionably recommend their services!

I had a frustrating experience at Habitude (the Ballard location). I scheduled an Essential Massage, and when it came time to pay, the total was significantly more than I expected. I told the cashier that I just had an essential massage, and they informed me I had added extra services.My masseuse asked if I had tried CBD oil, and I said yes, and they asked if I wanted them to use that during the massage. I said sure. Then at another point they asked if I wanted a warm towel on my neck, and I said sure. These two things added a huge extra cost, which was never communicated to me. I wish they had been explicit about the extra cost in these offers. I told the cashier the added cost was not something I was told about, and they just shrugged. I’ve had many massages at Habitude, and this has never happened to me- I’ve never been tricked into an added service. In the past, if a service was offered with an added cost, I was shown a list with dollar amounts. This is the norm that was setup for additional services and fees.I would not have added those extra things if I had known they were additional services with extra costs. I left feeling frustrated and tricked, rather than relaxed. Tell your customers up front when adding costs.

Not the best spa but pretty good. Worth the money. Id prefer something a bit more high-end. Rooms werent sound proof. Very small sauna and locker room. Massage and facial were fine but I could do without the lecture about what I should come back and get worked on more and what products to use/buy.

I have been to the Market St Habitude multiple times for haircuts and I really enjoy going there. I like that they use Aveda and Bumble. I like how they always offer water or tea. I have always had extremely professional experiences and wonderful haircuts. Its also fun to look through their trinkets and find something fun for myself or a gift for another.

I was disappointed with my visit. I set up an appointment 2 weeks early for their nicest pedicure, but had been put in the system as a manicure instead. Because of that, there wasnt enough time to do the full pedicure I requested. My entire experience was rushed. I actually had to move out of the chair just as soon as the polish was on to make way for the next appointment. I also got to watch others having additional pampering (aroma therapy, a neck massage) as part of their pedicures. Mine was pretty cut and dry, no special add-ins. Not exactly what I wanted after paying nearly $100...

Kayla J is a true pro who makes great recommendations and consistently does beautiful work. She’s the reason I keep coming back to Habitude. The reception staff has always been warm and friendly, too.

Jeff was an incredible masseuse. I felt relaxed and stress-free after my massage. I felt very safe in the spa. Everyone was wearing a mask and the staff was very professional. I will definitely be back.

Lori is an outstand esthetician. She customizes treatments to her clients needs and asks questions along the way about comfort level. Ive left feeling many times better after my two facials with her and signed up for a series package.

Normally I have a good time at the habitude in Ballard, though I had a good eyebrow waxing, my service of the pedicure was disappointing. I come to the spa to relax and felt pressured by the person who gave me service. They lectured me about problems I couldn’t really help and tried to talk me out of my nail color. I left feeling stressed and hurt.

Ive gotten massages at Habitude multiple times over the years, and they are always high quality. I also appreciate the opportunity to relax in the sauna after the massage.

Don’t need their “habitude.” Was running 15 min late due to a car accident and phoned to let them know. I arrived at 11:28 but their lot was blocked by construction trucks so I was forced to park and couple blocks away. I arrived at 11:34 and was told by the rude front desk staff that I would have to reschedule because it was after 11:30. She never checked with my stylist if it was an issue for her. I have curly hair so don’t get dried which easily saves time. I have also always had to wait at least 15 min every time I’ve had an appointment so their time is more valuable than mine? No thank you. They lost a customer who had their haircut, highlighted, purchased products and merchandise.

Super friendly and accommodating. I showed up for an appointment and found the place had been closed due to a possible gas leak on the block. Instead of sending me home to reschedule, which would have been reasonable, they spoke with the people on the scene to see if they could open again and minutes later I was in the chair.

I always get my partner massages from Habitude for their birthday. This year even in the middle of a pandemic they delivered. Everything felt safe and sanitary. The massages were fantastic as always.Thank you!

My favorite salon in Seattle. I see Bess and Bex for cut and color and they always do an amazing job. They have a great little gift shop with amazing gifts along with Aveda haircare. The front desk staff are very warm and welcoming. I will return!

I felt pampered the moment I walked in the door. After some time in the sauna, and amazing facial with Isabel I felt completely rejuvenated.

This is a lovely space where I venture off to on a monthly basis to get some respite from the busyness of life. I love the customer service, the teas, the sauna and the overall space...it evokes peace. The other thing that I enjoy about this salon/day spa is that they use Aveda products. Another nice offering is that one can get complimentary services if you know to ask for it - complimentary touch up make up and blowdry/style. Pretty amazing relaxing experience!

This place is really nice--great atmosphere, very relaxing, and Ive had great massages and hair cuts there. I actually had over 10 inches cut off for Locks of Love there, and it was a great experience. It is, however, a little on the pricey side for some of their services.

My husband-to-be bought me a gift certificate for here. The staff was very friendly. I got a bikini wax. My waxer was friendly and made the experience as fun as it could be. Also while I was there, I wanted to create a gift bag of goodies for a girlfriend. The staff was helpful, but possibly a little too pushy with expense items. Once I told them my price range it went much better. Would I go here again? Sure. Is it at the top of my list? Not necessarily. Its a little spendy but I felt like I got a good bang for my buck.

I had a gift card recently and went in for the anti-aging facial. I really didnt think it would do much, but I figured it would at least be a relaxing treatment. It was definitely relaxing, but it also actually made my skin feel amazing for weeks afterwards. It is the first time Ive had a facial and thought it really made a difference in my skin. I wish it were more affordable and I didnt have to wait for another gift card to go back!

I will only ever use habitude for any services now. Aveda always delivers results and I love all of the people who have helped me here over the years. Ive used all habitude hair services to grow out my hair for 3 years. I only get facials here now too, because my skin always clears up and glows after. Its so beautiful that I dont wear makeup after and I dont even care about my old acne scars. I see Nikole and Kailey for my facials and I see Gia for my hair. All three of these women are amazing and youll be grateful to spend your time with them.

I have been going to Habitude for a number of years and have almost always had a very nice, pleasant experience. I like that they frequently have Groupon offers (for existing clients too!) and I really enjoy the holistic experience of having a service performed (salon/spa), art viewing, shopping for neat things such as hand bags, earrings, and other little gifts, and relaxing on the couch with a cup of tea.

Kayla was wonderful to work with! She was very friendly and made me feel so comfortable in her chair. She took my ideas and ran with it, making my hair look the best it’s been in a very long time. Thanks so much Kayla!

My daughters stylist was fantastic. She loves her new short hair! (She got a LOT cut off.) Staff at the desk and at the Covid Screening desk were welcoming and professional.

Enjoyed a fantastic massage and general pampering with two friends of mine at Habitude in Ballard. The quiet, relaxing environment, super-comfy robe, and Aveda tea served afterwards made for a total spa experience and I left feeling mellow and glowing. This is one of the best places to go for an all-out, queen-for-a-day experience. Prices are on the high side, so if you need a more routine pound-your-muscles and out-the-door massage, you might want to look elsewhere. Save Habitude for a special treat. I know I will be back.

Its a hip, funky salon and spa with an open-floor plan and lots of light -- and they feature Aveda products (which are great).

Had an Ultimate Facial with Kailey yesterday. It was just wonderful, as usual. I had taken some time away but Kailey remembered me and was very thoughtful and kind. I left feeling like a wet noodle (a good thing). The staff at the desk seem a bit uninformed about their offerings, like how to set up a series, but they were nice enough.

I regularly get my hair cut at Habitude and recently got a massage at their spa - it was fantastic! I highly recommend them!

Each year I treat myself to a day at Habitude. My favorites are the Essential Massage, the Essential Bikini Wax and the Essential Pedicure. The employees are kind and helpful, and the locker rooms are clean. The showers are even outfitted with Aveda products. Spending a few hours at Habitude is a treat!

This is the second time I have had Kayla as my hair stylist and again she really is a magician when it comes to hair styling/hair cut.Good conversation and even remembered the details of our conversation 8 months prior (not that its a prerequisite for hair styling, but still impressive).

Ive enjoyed each time I went to Habitude (at the locks). Deep tissue massages, facials, manicures- theyre all good. The robes and healthy munchies are a nice touch. I really liked the sauna as well.

When you go for an expensive haircut, you expect the undivided attention of the stylist who is attending to you and not being handed over to an intern for a blow dry while your stylist attends to another customer. Got a decent haircut at Habitude but expected a much better service and treatment for the price I paid.

This might be the first review Ive ever made. I went in with pictures of what I wanted and came out with bangs sticking out, way shorter than I wanted and hair not styled after the cut. My hair is completely straight, extremely easy to work with and I just expected more. I feel that I was better off with my hair before I went in..

I love getting massages and do it at least once a month. I have tried many places and although massages depend on the massage therapist, I find habitude has the most consistent great massages by their therapists. I have had 3 massages so far at habitude with 2 different therapists and they are all way better than other places. I also like that they use Aveda products. The ambience for massage is great and we can use the sauna and shower before hand too.

Cierra did my manicure. She was knowledgeable, really interesting to chat with, and the manicure ended up being perfect. i had a great experience and recommend her highly. She made a really nice day great!

I came in for a redo and Raeven saved my hair. Id highly recommend her. Im blown away with what she did given what she had to work with. She fixed the colour to match my original intent, gave me a wicked cut and was set on leaving me in love with my hair. She was really on it, paid a lot of attention to detail and took the time to really understand what I wanted. Shes amazing- thanks Raeven!!

I have been coming to Habitude for nearly 8 years. I see Britany and Amber for my services. I am always impressed with their work. I love the Aveda color choices and love the way my hair looks when I leave (I wish I could look this way everyday). I highly recommend Habitude for people looking for a top notch Aveda salon!

My review is more for the atmosphere than the actual services. I have had plenty of services here from massages to facials to manis to haircuts and they have all been great! But its the loudest salon/spa I have ever been to. People are always yacking on the phone or talking to their coworkers super loud and it takes away from the ambiance of a spa. It drives me crazy! Ive gone at different times during the day, too. Its loud 24/7. Same thing. I wish the managers would tell their workers to SHUT UP. Its a spa, not a junior high cafeteria or a bar. And parking sucks. So I never feel very relaxed here. I have found smaller and better salons since, like Caruh, Shanti, and even Gene Juarez.

I always love Habitude! I have never had a bad experience, my girls and I get there when we can! Love it, everybody is so nice, it just feels good when you walk in, and do revitalized when you walk out!

Habitude is my all time favorite spa in the Seattle area! They have a quiet, relaxing waiting area - as well as a sauna - for guests to enjoy. Each of my several experiences there has been positive - from message, body wraps to mani/pedis. Habitudes environment allows for a relaxing day, that will leave you feeling better than you came!

Its not upscale but the service was really good. I enjoyed my 60 minute facial and the time flew by. My skin looks great. The place has an earth mother vibe which you either love or dont.

I am a mom to a 2 year old, so an afternoon spent at a hair salon sounded lovely. An afternoon spent at Habitude was like sitting in a spa!! I was waited on hand and foot and left with the BEST hair color Ive ever had.

I had Gina for a blonde balayage/full bleaching and let me tell you I was SO nervous to get my hair done again it was dead brittle and a bad color and I showed her a picture of what I’d like my hair to be and she did it. An even better job than the picture it turned out beautiful and was worth all the money. If you want your hair done the right way this place is the one to go to and for blondes Gina’s the one 😘

Terrible experience. Bought 2 groupons for Prana Pedicures which was not what we got. Staff could not explain what they were doing, or what the word chakra meant. Just said I cant really explain it. Plus i was chastised from the moment they realized I had gel polish on. Told me it would take too much time and i couldnt get the Prana pedicure. I asked to have the owner call me back and she never did. Of course they still charged me. Was the most un-Zen , experience ever. The saddest part was it was a gift for my daughters 16th birthday. Ripoff.

Jordyn brought life to my dry hair and it was absolutely amazing to have her cut and style my hair!

I love all the ways Habitude has put safety of its clients and staff upfront in their new operations rhythm. Explicit health screening and instructions upon entry, plexiglass barriers between chairs in the new distanced layout, and barriers between shampooing bowls help me feel safe while having one luxury in my life during pandemic.

Not impressed overall . I went there to explore a potential working arrangement. I wasnt impressed with several factors.1. weak greeting 2. the spa is upstairs which requires one to walk up a stair case that one could easily trip, or stumble going up or down. especially after a relaxing massage..3. misrepresentation of the job offer. 4. over charging service providers.5. the people that work there look miserable.6. the parking is horrible, lots of pot holes and construction going on.

Ive really enjoyed going here. Gina has done a wonderful job with my cut and color and has also been very sanitary so I feel safe during my appointments.

Hands down the best place to get a massage in Seattle. From the atmosphere, to the customization, to the masseuse, everything is a treat.

I requested balayage highlights to break up my natural roots and blonde ends so that it would grow out nicely, with an ashy blonde toner. We decided to go on the more purple side since the ashy color always fades so fast. It looked good for a few days but then once immediately faded to a weird red color and now a month later my roots are growing out and it looks really awkward. Basically what I didn’t want. Will not be coming back.

Habitude has great customer service! Everyone is friendly and the experience is great. Ive had numerous haircuts at Habitude and each one was an enjoyable experience and the stylists listened to exactly what I wanted.

LOVE LOVE LOVE the spa. The tea, the snacks, the relaxing sauna. The massages are a bit expensive and not the best Ive ever had. But they are relaxing and the overall experience makes it well worth it.

I had a fantastic massage at Habitude - loved the active release therapy they practiced. Would highly recommend going back! Plus, you feel like youre at a cozy lodge - who doesnt love that?
