OUTSTANDING. Wow! I’ve been wanting to visit Osmosis since I first heard about them many years ago. Friends had also highly recommended it. I tried it out with my partner. We did the Cedar Enzyme Bath which was really amazing. The whole sequence of events from the tea ceremony with the private zen garden, to the enzyme bath itself (like a warm weighted blanket of sandy goodness). After our Cedar Bath we both got massages. I got the transformation package and he got the deep tissue. Both were great and very relaxing, professional and therapeutic. Before leaving we visited the Meditation Garden which was so beautiful and we had it all to ourselves. Very worth the price, I’ll definitely be visiting again.

I had a wonderfully rejuvenating experience at this day spa. If youre looking for a place to unwind, this is the perfect spot.We started our visit with their signature **Cedar Enzyme Bath**. The gentle heat and the fragrant cedar created a serene environment that helped me to deeply relax. Make sure to keep hydrating and not take a cold shower immediately after.Following the Cedar Enzyme Bath, we indulged in a 70-minute Swedish-Esalen massage. Post this e spent some quality time in the meditation garden. The ambiance at Osmosis Day Spa is impeccable. The spa is clean, beautifully decorated, and has a calming atmosphere that makes you feel at peace as soon as you walk in. The staff are professional, friendly, and very attentive, ensuring that our visit is perfect.Overall, our experience at Osmosis Day Spa was exceptional. I highly recommend this spa to anyone in need of some quality self-care time.

Visited with my husband to celebrate our second anniversary. We had to plan the visit like a month in advance, but it was absolutely worth it. The whole experience was magical. The overall atmosphere was tranquil and peaceful, and the staff was very welcoming. The cedar bath was incredibly relaxing, though the highlight was the couple’s massage, which was just heavenly. Kate and Josh did an amazing job! A short stroll through the meditation garden after the massage was a nice final touch to end the day.

Our day at Osmosis was DELIGHTFUL! We arrived and were welcomed warmly by staff and directed to the changing rooms and the sitting room where we were offered a cup of tea. After our welcome tea, our first spa experience was the cedar enzyme bath, a practice rooted in ancient traditions. This was incredible! Josh, our attendee, was so great— supporting our treatment and keeping us hydrated. The cedar enzymes worked their magic, generating a gentle heat that steeped deep into my muscles and joints. After the bath, our second experience was sound healing in the hammock garden. I felt so relaxed! The combination of these treatments – the vibrational harmony of the sound healing hammocks and the detoxifying warmth of the cedar enzyme bath – was a journey into holistic well-being.

This spa was gorgeous and so relaxing, my bath attendant was very kind and helped me to not overheat in the cedar enzyme bath. The bath its self was nice and the perfect amount of time, it felt like a heated weighted blanket. My favorite part was the massage though, my masseuse was kind as welll and was very accommodating to someone with OCD so I really appreciated her. Afterwards I went to this beautiful koi pond/ meditation garden. It was definitely a very unique experience that you have to try at least once!

My wife and I had an incredibly relaxing experience here. We did the cedar bath for the first time and it was a cool new experience--kind of felt like a sauna mixed with a warm weighted blanket. Plus, then you end up smelling like cedar, which I personally love the smell of and couldnt stop sniffing my hands afterwards, as weird as that sounds. Then we had a massage scheduled but before that, we had some time to stroll in the meditation garden. Our massages done by Michelle and Andrea were INCREDIBLY relaxing and exactly what we needed. The staff was very pleasant and our host Josh was very attentive during the cedar bath. I wish I could spend every day in that meditation garden though. It was so peaceful and beautifully designed.

This was the most unique experience and I loved everyone second of it.My boyfriend planned the whole thing, he got us a couples package which included a cedar bath and a couples massage. The cedar bath was super cool and it felt like I was getting a hug from earth. Definitely make sure to stay hydrated before because it did get really hot after being in there for about 10 minutes. The massages were amazing, it was my first time getting one so I don’t have anything to compare it to but I definitely would love to go get another one from there. The staff were all super sweet and they gave us some great recommendations for places to eat and go see before we left town.Highly recommend:)

Osmosis is my absolute favorite spa, hands down. From the moment I walked in, I felt completely taken care of. The massages and facials were incredible, and the relaxing cedar bath was just the cherry on top. It’s the perfect spot to book a group event – we had a fantastic time enjoying fresh salads in the beautiful garden retreat. I also loved browsing through the gift shop; they have such unique products. The Koi pond is truly mesmerizing, but my personal favorite is sitting in the front garden with a cup of tea, soaking in the outdoors and the wonderful weather. If youre visiting West Sonoma, you have to book a session at Osmosis. It’s an experience you won’t want to miss.

My mom and I did the full shebang: tea + cedar bath + massage + walk in the gardens. the tea and the gardens were lovely. unfortunately, the rest of it was not.its going to to sound petty, but this place had the worst water of any spa Ive been to. in my opinion, spa water should be cold, filtered, and if its going to to have a flavor, that should be cucumber or something. what we got was room temperature, vaguely salty (??) tap water.the cedar bath area was filled with flies, and let me tell you it is NOT a zen feeling to sit there covered in hot wood pulp while flies buzz by your ear and land on your dripping sweaty face. our bath attendant left us with some cups of the tepid tap water which the flies also helped themselves to. 🤮after washing off the cedar bath, we had our massages. mine was... mostly okay. the technique was a little weird at times and it felt like I was being jostled rather than massaged. I was happy to find out that my feet were to be included in the massage but kinda grossed out when my masseuse then put her hands on my face without washing them first.overall there just seemed to be a weird lack of consideration... dont think I would come here again.

A wedding anniversary visit found us finally making it here to enjoy the Ultimate Experience package. We started out in an intimate tea room with a wonderful cleansing tea and view of the garden.Next it was off to the cedar bath, which was absolutely remarkable and relaxing. Go first thing in the morning for best experience as its at its warmest.A quick shower after the bath had us ready for a massage, with a short stop in the meditation garden to cool off and relax. The massage was definitely one of the best Ive had, leaving us relaxed, refreshed and in tune with the garden. A must see at this point is the generational koi pond.We ended our 4 hours with a excellent facial before enjoying a little lunch and soaking in the peaceful surroundings.Highly recommend!

Beautiful atmosphere with clean and well maintained Japanese garden, meditation and tea areas, clean dressing room with lockers, nice little store by reception, the staff are professional and very chilled. This is a very positive place to be in. What an experience to go naked in a hot tub of fermented cedar from Oregon, USA. They provide kimonos, slippers, and towels. Special mention to Alicia, our wonderful host who explained what tea were drinking and a brief history of Osmosis. This place originated in Hokkaido, Japan. Great to find out more about them on their website. We had a little problem that their new system could not read the gift certificate bought as a gift online. Thats something that their IT needs to work on. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. My skin feels so smooth and glowing. The most important thing is that my chronic pain was relieved.

It is a unique and wonderful experience - the garden is so incredibly beautiful - and you can feel the love that goes into all the detail and with which Osmosis is run. The staff was lovely, the bath such a wonderful experience, and the massage in the pagoda in the middle of nature (but warm in the pagoda!) was also amazing. Thanks for the wonderful day :)! I can highly recommend to spend a day at the Osmosis and hope to come again soon!

5 stars for an excellent experience, from requesting a booking to payment following our service. Dont miss the zen garden walk behind the spa building...it was breathtakingly beautiful! Finally snagged a reservation for 3 cedar baths plus 3 deep tissue massages. We were so stoked by all our massages as many places dont actually give you deep tissue. . . .we like to say we are massage connoisseurs so shout out to Jerrism, Ashleye and Gardner. GREAT masseuses! Should out to Ashley who made sure we were comfortable throughout every step of our cedar bath experience. The surprise for us were the beautiful meditation gardens. . . Just stunning. Took off one star due to my massage room being on the bottom floor, super small space and having to listen to footsteps up above the entire 70 minutes. Also, the massage table should have been turned on automatically when I laid on the table. Definitely enhances the experience. We still cant wait to return and even booked another visit!

This place is absurdly relaxing. It’s rare to find day spas that possess such a high frequency of a chill vibration throughout their design, customer service, and services rendered. The sports massage exceeded my expectations - my therapist, Josh, is gentle, strong, and radically empathetic. I don’t live anywhere near the spa and am bummed I don’t, because if I did I would certainly be a regular for massage therapy from him.Secondarily the Japanese cedar bath is a must. I can’t fully articulate the experience in text, as it is mentally strenuous as it is physically challenging. But it ultimately promoted a pleasing euphoric effect on my overall disposition for the rest of my evening. This is definitely not a luxury spa, in the western sense. It feels like a homespun establishment run by people who care about your well being, which IMO is all I could ask for.

We had a simply lovely experience at the Osmosis Day Spa. With my five other friends, we did a group package. The email communication with the staff setting up the appointment was prompt and helpful. All the staff on site were very pleasant and helpful. We did the foot soak in the cedar enzyme treatment and that was very fun though Im not sure I could do a full body treatment as it was very warm! Some of the group did massages and some did facials. Everyone was very pleased with their spa experience. The gardens in the back are just beautiful. I wish it was a nicer day for us to sit outside and enjoy. I would definitely recommend this spa for a girls trip experience.

We just had an amazing day celebrating my birthday yesterday! The place, the people, the atmosphere, everything was from a different dimension. We were completely relaxed after and totally forgot that we didnt eat whole day, and it didnt matter. We booked the Warmth of Love, and it included the tea, cedar bath, and massage with aroma therapy for 2.Every experience hit the point. Tea was warm and tasty, the bath in cedar was a very interesting experience, reminded me of the times back in childhood being buried under the sand, with the difference of being so pleasantly hot, and the skin after felt soft, like after exfoliation. The massage was the final cherry on top, and I wanted to personally thank Robert for the great job in working on my stressed and knotted body. The aroma therapy added pleasant hint in relaxation. Also, we never had a massage with open windows covered with the heated blanket!! Omg, that was absolutely amazing!Thank you again!

Very kind and accommodating. However we did not get the intake form sent to us and so our massage therapists did not know what our preferences were other than a few short questions in the beginning. I prefer more pressure during my massage and ended getting very light pressure. Overall relaxing but not optimal considering the prices you are paying. They do have free tea and a beautiful garden in the back.

I dont think I received the intended full spa package. First off everyone was really nice! The cedar bath was a nice experience and the time does fly by in there. The attendant was really attentive and answered all my questions. When it came to the massage, when the masseuse first got me, she said that I will be receiving a Swedish massage, I forgot what I had booked and assumed she was right. She was a little inconsistent with the pressure during the middle of the massage but did address the areas that I pointed out. But at the end of the session I felt a pinched nerve on my side that Ive never had before and it didnt subside even when I had returned home, it just kept bothering me the rest of the day. When I was done I wanted to check out the meditation garden, so I walked out in my kimono. When I reached it, there was another spa visitor in her kimono in the garden but so was, what I assume, her husband and child. And it felt awkward just me in just the kimono trying to walk around the garden and this random man and child in regular clothes just there with their stroller. I ended up just leaving cause theres no way I could relax there. I wanted to walk further down the path but then there was another random man in regular clothing poking his head around the pathway, and I dont think he had done any of the service or was waiting around for when it was time for his appt?, so I just went back to the main building and got ready to leave cause I didnt want to stay in my kimono any longer. When I was checking out the receptionist said I should have received the fusion massage not just the Swedish but what she described didnt sound like what I had received. So I dont know if Im just clueless about massages or there was some miscommunication. I wish I could have enjoyed the experience more but its unfortunate that I couldnt get the full experience especially given the price I paid. It was a nice experience but I wouldnt return again. For an exclusive spa to allow just random people to walk around the place willy nilly, while visitors who clearly after being serviced are just in robes/kimonos trying to enjoy whats included in their paid experience just doesnt feel right. Im quite honestly sad I didnt get the experience I wanted.

Hello! This is my second time here and leaving a one star review just because of the massage experience by Daisy and the after taste from the lady at the front who was checking my mom and I out of the spa.Daisy-Therapist asked follow up questions regarding why I dont want my feet and ears massaged.I thought it was none of her business. She then started talking to me as she began her massage and asked if I was coming from Berkeley.Unless a client starts talking, no small talk should come from the side of the therapist. Also, the swedish massage itself was way too gentle, the stroaks were way too gentle and the massage seemed choppy at times.I explained it to her that two years I got a way better thorough massage; she did try a little more, offered to ugrade to deep tissue and told me that since 2022 everything has changed!!!Everything? Meaning the massages are worst now?I recommend explaining things better, putting some music and adding just a few drops of aramotherapy to give the client a warm and enjoyable experience!!That’s how it was for me in 2022!!The lady at the front desk-We made it clear from the beginning who we are tipping, so if a client does not mention a name of the person who they wish not to tip, there is a reason. She made it SUPER awkward for my mom and I asking if we already left the massage lady any tips in the room earlier!!!Why do I need to explain myself that I decided to not leave a tip where I did not see fit???First of all, a tip is my choice whether to leave or not and second of all, I dont appreciate giving me suggestions of how much I should leave: either 18% or 20%I know how much to give.I would focus less on giving suggestions and more on making the client feel comfortable!!I will not be coming back.

Been holding off on writing my review for a while. My mom and I went here for a special treat for my birthday. My mom switched services due to me being pregnant. We felt a tad duped because they definitely up sold her for switching the services. By this I mean, we had less expensive services and then the front desk person pretty much doubled the cost because she didnt warn my mom asvin hey this may be more than your original treatments. We didnt find out until the bill was due. Perhaps it was not enough research on my moms part but perhaps, front staff just up selling on a poor mom... You can be the judge. With that it was a good experience for our facials and massages. We didnt explore the garden due to timing.Lots of variety of sizes of robes and interesting lockers to hold your possessions.I dont know if Id go back due to the switcheroo on my mom.Lastly, theyll automatically add a 20% gratitude. My advice just be super aware of pricing.

I went here hoping for a nice relaxing spa day and booked one of their package called “rejuvenating package” but it turns out to be the opposite of this which was a stressful & aggravating experience. From the moment I checked in and got out, I was disappointed with the overall service. As our first time here, my daughter and I will never go back. This place deserves zero star. Customer service is extremely poor. Front desk is disorganized and does not seem to care about the customers. I had to wait for a long time for the massage therapist in the cold patio after the bath with wet hair and robe. I got tired waiting, so I went back and the therapist finally spotted me. The same therapist who kept walking past me several times out in the patio which never acknowledged me until at least 30 minutes or so with me waiting. Then check out process was a nightmare. Vanessa R. who was working there lacked courtesy and was very rude and non accommodating. Both Vanessa and Michael could not reconcile the payment that we had previously paid because one of their staff who took our payment left the day already, instead they made us wait while they called the lady that did the transaction (my daughter did not get her name she had a bright green sweater that day and she had pink color dyed hair). We waited for at least another 10 minutes for them to figure out their check register reconciliation issue. I was in a hurry because we had a two hour drive back. I realized after looking at my receipt that I overpaid as Vanessa charged me one service I did not even receive.I have been in many amazing spa all over the Valley. Osmosis day spa is hardly a spa nor a sanctuary. I will never go back.

The manager was consumed and confirmed she arrived at the correct time. They skipped the tea service! Less than ideal if you are looking forward to a relaxing time and are greeted with arguing. A discount was given, but that doesnt change that the whole experience wasnt what it could have been.

Spectacular hospitality. Amazing experience!!!! We had a very unique experience getting the mud bath. The staff was friendly. We were shown to the change room that had lockers. After changing were show in to a room with spectacular view of the zen garden, we were given a tea with enzymes to help open our pores. We were then taken to the mud spa, perfectly warm temperate, our host got us cold water to drink and cold cloth to keep on our forehead. After the bath we took a shower and explored the property. It was a very relaxing experience.

To Osmosis Owner:Please forward this to the attention of the manager immediately. It is important that you put chairs in your roomsthat will be guaranteed to sit solid on the floor. As you know, after a person gets a massage, they may often feel dizzy or somewhat disoriented. During the pandemic, and given that the only chair in my room to use, to put on my socks and shoes, had no sides, no back, and was on castor wheels.I fell from it onto the floor and wrenched my coccyx, back, shoulder and neck. I was hoping this pain would go away, but each day I seem to be worse with pain and stiffness. My orthopedic doctor has done 3 procedures so far under anesthesia, and ordered physical therapy with another procedure coming soon.Update: Osmosis is now trying to say this accident was my fault. I am 75 years old and now looking at chronic pain for the rest of my life, because someone thought it would be okay to allow clients to use a chair with castor wheels in a massage room. (I saw an article recently stating that chairs with wheels accidents are not uncommon.)Rita DeSouza

Price $$$Quality ***Atmosphere ****Friendliness of staff ****No compliments on the quality and friendliness of the staff. The cost of getting a massage has nearly doubled making getting massages less frequent. It’s hard for many to be able to afford something that is so beneficial to stay in good health. But for those who can afford treatment, then this is a good choice. The pitch that no price is too much for good health care is difficult when for many it’s the reality of today’s growing economy making choices like these more difficult.

Tl;dr: The cedar enzyme bath was a unique experience that Id be interested in trying again. The gardens are peaceful and beautiful. The staff were helpful and addressed any questions/concerns. BUT...Id like to say it was a relaxing, stress-free experience from start to finish, but this wasnt the case.Arrival: My bf and I arrived earlier than our appointment time because we wanted to explore the gardens before it got dark and without having to rush. Check-in was smooth (no wait and no issues), and we were given a rundown of how the property was laid out and where to find refreshing water and tea. The gardens were beautiful and peaceful, also because we were the only ones there for most of our time there. There were a few closed off, but the ones that were available were very nice.Dressing room: This was the less-than-relaxing bit. We were shown to the dressing room and assured that we would be the only ones using it so to feel comfortable changing into robes, but no! During that time multiple sets of people tried to come in! I understand that its a shared dressing room in the sense that multiple guests use the lockers, but then there should be a sign to knock before entering, a lock, or even just dont tell guests like us were the only ones using the room when that was clearly not the case so wed be prepared! It was awkward and embarrassing for everyone to be surprised in various states of undress. On top of this, two of the lockers wouldnt lock properly which just added to the time in the waiting room - yes, more people tried to enter during that time.Tea room: The tea room was a nice place for quiet meditation. The attendant came to serve tea and answer any questions, and we were left for some time to enjoy the tea and the small private garden.Cedar bath: An interesting, unique experience. The cedar was hotter than expected, but in a good way, and the weight of it felt comforting (I suppose this is why weighted blankets are so popular). Beneath, the cedar was supportive and fit properly into the curves of the body.Post-bath: Ill admit after the dressing room fiasco I did not feel fully relaxed to be out in the open again, brushing the sand off and then using the shower room to wash off the rest. I was 50% sure someone was going to randomly walk in again. Fortunately that didnt happen.Overall it was a pleasant, unique experience that was marred by unexpected visitors (a problem thats easily solved with a lock), so it could have gone better. Its a pity since the staff was so friendly and helpful and tried to make things comforting, but it was what it was.

Really disappointed in Osmosis. We have been visiting this spa for years and our most recent services (for our birthdays) were quite bad. I got a deep tissue massage and my husband got a Swedish (type) massage. He said he couldnt even feel the massage even after multiple requests that his therapist increase the pressure. In general, massages have been hit or miss in terms of quality - not sure if they have a vetting process but two of my massages were less than mediocre, one was a mediocre at best, and the final was amazing. My first ever massage at Osmosis left me with bad neck pain. Additionally (and this is a probably a personal sensitivity) but my most recent visit to the cedar bath in September 2022 left me completely covered in hives....this has never happened before. The most disappointing part of this whole experience is that I emailed customer service after our visit and they have yet to respond (its been over a month). Youd think that they would be more willing to help/support locals that visit frequently.

We had positive experience with this place. For online reservation, you had to pick 3 preferred choices for date and time and they will get back to you with one of the choices. They will confirm your reservation a few days before so theres should not be any miscommunication. We had the Transformation package with fusion(?) Massage. The locker room to change clothes was small but feel very private, big plus for us. Then it started with tea in a small room with garden view, very relaxing. We then were transfered to the room with the enzyme bath. This is not for everyone as it is hot and warm. The goal is to sweat out all the toxic through your skin. It was 20 mins but my partner could only handle 10. We then walked over to our private shower room to wash out all the debris. Soap, shampoo and conditioner were provided. Afterwards, we had about 25 mins of walking in the garden and spending time there before the massage. The garden was beautiful and relaxing. For the massage, we did couple massage. Our ladies were Michelle and Consuelo(?) And they were great. We loved our 75 mins massages. We picked fusion massage which is combination of variety of techniques. We slept like babies that night. The total experience for us was almost 3 hours. We thought the price was up there with 20% mandatory tip but the customer service throughout was excellent and worth the price.Recommend of getting there an hour early so you can buy some amazing bread at Wild Flour Bread just right before Osmosis. The line is long but totally worth the wait.

The tea room I could have stayed in there for an hour.. I was not trilled with my massage. I get them every 2 weeks at home and I expected something at the level of the rest of the spa.Finishing my day with the hammock and the beautiful music was lovely. The spa is very calming and the zen garden is so beautiful. Its a nice place to go and relax and get away from the city. The Cedar Bath was a unique experience and would recommend trying out, but just be aware it’s hot and for me I felt a little claustrophobic. But I enjoyed it and my skin felt amazing afterwards, but the cedar does get everywhere and I mean everywhere! I also thought it was a great way to relax and be calm and you have a wonderful bath attendant to give you water and put cool towels on your face. I booked the Transformation package that included the bath and it was worth every penny! The massage was wonderful and relaxing-so what else can I say! While I did leave quite relaxed and the spa package of cedar bath and massage did the trick, I was underwhelmed by the experience and facilities. As others have commented, the smell when you enter the building is overwhelmingly bad. Fortunately that subsided. The cedar bath was pretty amazing in my opinion: it felt weightless yet like having a weighted blanked on at the same time if that makes sense. My massage was good though the therapist really didnt have any personality. The facility is very dated and would benefit from new flooring and other enhancements. I also think they need to get the flow of the therapies down. Over the course of my 2.5 hour spa package, I had a 20 min bath and a 75 min massage and a lot of waiting before each. In fact, I even arrived 15 min before my appointment as instructed to allow time to get changed, etc. Instead I was asked to sit in the enclosed porch waiting area and had to remind the front desk person that my appointment began 5 min previously. Everyone was nice and I do think they are trying to create a relaxing experience; it just didnt all come together for me.

When the therapist asked me to lie on the table face down, I expressed surprise and told her that in the past I had had prenatal massages laying on my side. My shoulders start detaching from my ears and moving downward on arrival. Most packages start with sitting in a private tea room overlooking the gardens and drinking enyzyme tea (to help purify the bod), then a warm relaxing time in the cedar baths (its like a mud bath but much cleaner / very soft cedar flakes - and smells divine), followed by a massage. Prepare to become a noodle. Ive spent 12 years working in the spa industry and I was shocked by how bad my experience was.It was my husband and my first visit, we didnt get offered tea or water, there was no private waiting area, the grounds are hidden behind a back door with no sign youre just suppose to know where they are.My husband and I had massages in different rooms, afterward there was no direction on where to meet so I waited and waited and waited for him standing in the walk way. No one asked to help me although many people walked by. After 15 min I asked the front desk woman who informed me they dont do tours of the property and pointed me to a back door with no sign where the garden lay. He wasnt back there either. Finally I bumped into him in the hall. HIS massage therapist showed him to a private shower room after his massage, something I knew nothing about and she didnt think to inform me or anyone else of.The grounds are beautiful, but this was the worst custom care Ive experienced at spa.

This airport is in the middle of nowhere. We needed to get to Heidleberg and there is no direct bus service. Be prepared for waiting for an hour or more for a bus to Mainz by Flico.bus 17€ and then a 28€train to Heidelberg. A 2.5 hour trip. No places to sit and wait in this airport. No rental cars only Europecar, which is not the best rental agency.

My husband and/or girl friend come two or three times per year. We are lucky it is only an hour away. The cedar therapy is healing and the messages have always been GREAT. Osmosis is how we heal mind, body and spirit. I only wish I could do it on a monthly basis.

Dieder not only provided a skilled technical massage, but also a safe space for me to emotionally release some recent trauma. He is an angel, a godsend, and a phenomenal masseuse. As a former masseuse myself, I left thinking, did I just luck out with a massage celebrity? I come to Occidental once a year for a family reunion and I pray he will be there again when I return. The trip to Osmosis ended with a slow saunter to the meditation pond with my mother, and we shared a precious moment in the midst of some fluttering red dragonflies that I will cherish for the rest of my days. Thanks and blessings to Dieder and to Osmosis for a profound physical and mental healing.

“One of the marvelous things about community is that it enables us to welcome and help people in a way we couldnt as individuals.” – Jean VanierOsmosis came through big time for 3 local animal rescues which allowed us to make over $15k for the animals in our community. Without their benevolence that wouldnt have been possible. If you care about a strong community and the people who build up and support other community members than you should support and use Osmosis Day Spa. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being our hero. I know which spa I am picking for my next pampering session.

I tried to take my grandmother to get a massage for her birthday. First, I called the spa 2 times and was on hold for 1 hour each time! No, this is NOT an over exaggeration. I ended up hanging up because I couldnt hold any longer. Since I could not reach them by phone, I emailed them, they took DAYS to respond. Finally, I had confirmed availability from an email from Osmosis, but they asked me to go onto their website to type in my information. Unfortunately, I had spotty service where I was and I couldnt go onto their website to enter all of my information on their website, but I was able to email them (somehow-yes, I still had spotty service), so I emailed them confirmation ( I thought this would suffice). I received an email back from them stating that the spots had been reserved because I did not go onto their awful website to reserve the times. Speaking of their website, they do not even have times available, they make you fill out a request and then wait for them to email you on their available times. Needless to say THEY HAVE THE WORST COMMUNICATION EVER AND NOW MY GRANDMA CANNOT HAVE A SPA DAY. THANK YOU OSMOSIS FOR YOUR RUINING MY GRANDMOTHERS BIRTHDAY!

My wife and I went here as part of our anniversary trip to the coast and got the long lunch package, which included 75min massage, 30 min sound therapy, and a lunch. Our massage therapists were very good, but the rest was a bit of a disappointment. We kept having to come up to the main office area to wait and then be escourted to our next appointment. I cant seem to muster up the perspective to say anything positive about the sound therapy. Laying on hammocks for 30 min and listening to Enya type music with wave sounds and another droning background tone. Its just feels weird to be on the coast and listen to pre-recorded wave-sounds.But the last straw that made us go away feeling we didnt want to come back was the lunch. The grounds and amenities are otherwise pretty high quality and harmonious, but the lunch was a pre-made meal that was plucked fresh from the fridge and placed on our table in plastic containers. I eat very wholesomely and actually make dishes similar to the one we were served, but the salad was completely dry and the fritata was refridgerator temperature. Tortilla espanola is okay to serve room temperature, but a fritata should never be served completely cold, IMO.Bottom line: This place seems to lack vision and leadership. If it wasnt for the excellent massage therapists, Id give it one star.

You can get head to toe poision ivy/oak from this. Be careful. The waiver you sign doesnt mention this risk. And the spa doesnt care. Refuses to accept blame. There is no way to sanitize it between people from oils. Im not sure how this place can even stay in business? California captialism disguised as faux spiritual healing. This is why people in the rest of the U.S hate California. This spa is a shining example of that.

I have the BEST facial treatments wth Melissa! She’s knowledgeable, and spends time before each facial looking to see which treatments will be best for my skin at that time. She doesn’t start any treatments before assessing my skin. I receive monthly microdermabrasion treatments from my dermatologist and Melissa coordinates with my dermatologist what treatments are best at each appointment. My skin is very sensitive. And it has never looked better. My dermatologist tells me that I have more collagen and elasticity n my skin than most 30 year olds. I’m 68 and I have never used expensive creams or lotions and I still don’t. With Melissa’s vigilance and commitment to my having the best skin possible, I know I’m in good hands and will continue with my monthly facials with her. I highly recommend seeing Melissa for the most knowledge and customized treatments for your skin!

This is the worst place to go for a massage and bath. We went to the couples massage. The bath was smelly, it is not a bath, its a compost with dirt that they never change. We got very nosy staff that wouldnt even left for you to take off your clothes and stay there the whole time watching you getting undress. The worse spa Ive ever visited with the most disgusting smell.
