Yaselis did an incredible job on my prenatal massage today. She was attentive and very good at relieving pregnancy tension and pain, can’t wait to come back!

I asked for natural blended highlights and received the opposite. I have a chunk of highlight in the front and she made my hair darker and not like the description I had asked for. She was very pleasant and gave a discount but would have paid more for better somewhere else.

Monica was wonderful. She listened to me, the color was great and the cut was perfect. I would highly recommend Monica for your hair styling needs. The whole experience especially the scalp massage added to the great service i receivedKayla also does my nails and her attention to detail and use of all natural products help keep my nails healthy. She is meticulous, the massage, manicure and pedicure are fantastic and it is a great, overall experience.

Monica is the best stylist Ive found in a very long time (have been on the hunt since my stylist of 25+ years retired!). She listens to your needs and pays a great deal of attention to taking her time and caring for the health of your hair. Her attention to detail and level of interest is very rare. Since Ive been going to her, Ive definitely noticed a difference in the overall health, strength, and shine of my hair, and always leave feeling relaxed and thrilled with the way it looks!

I love getting my hair styled at Organic Roots Salon with Monica. She is extremely knowledgeable, caring and always improves my appearance. Everyone who comes and goes for any of the services available are happy and have enjoyed their time. The environment is sunny, beautiful and comfortable. The space has everything you might need during your appointment.

For years I have been seeing Kayla for many of the age-defying, stress relieving and beautifying services she offers including facials adding on various services such as dermaplaning, red light therapy, micro current and many others. She’s also added massage therapist to her resume. I recently had a facial and massage combo and the way she incorporates the two services together is relaxing and takes all my stresses away. Kayla had a touch like no other. If you want someone who is gentle, compassionate and mighty I suggest scheduling an appointment with Kayla ASAP.

Monica has been cutting my hair for years and I always love the results. During my past couple of visits she has added beautiful purple and turquoise streaks. I told her I didnt want them to be very obvious and she did just enough that I can show them off or keep them hidden when I need to be more professional. I definitely recommend her to anyone who needs a good stylist.

It was my first time at this salon and I had the Best experience!! As I was greeted at the door, Kim was so friendly. The room was relaxing and very homey! I immediately felt so comfortable and the massage I had was AMAZING! I’ll definitely be going back :)

I’ve been getting massages from Kate at Organic Roots monthly for about a year and a half now. She is an amazing massage therapist who’s added a vital component to what is now a routine aspect of my healthcare. The salon itself is a welcoming environment with offerings of tea and water as you enter and kind people available if you have questions about products or services. It’s in a beautiful old house so it doesn’t feel institutional in any way and I always leave looking forward to my next appointment.

I went to see Kayla for a facial and it was amazing! I had never had one before so I wasnt sure what to expect, but after seeing Kayla I plan to make regular appointments! It was so relaxing and she did a wonderful and thorough job and I love that she uses organic, vegan products. I would highly recommend!

I haven’t had a haircut in a hot minute, and as far as non-ethnic hair goes mine is about as complicated and persnickety as it comes. Hair cuts are as stressful for me as they are rare, so I was nervous.I went in to see Kim, who greeted me with a smile and a warm, familiar-feeling kindness that made me feel more like an old friend than a new client. She helped me to understand my curl pattern, found a bangs look that flattered my face and hair texture, and did it all with so much personal attention and affection that I felt completely at home, despite my overwhelming nerves beforehand. She had nothing but sweet and kind things to say about my hair too, and in doing so she helped me recognize its inherent beauty.

I have had the gift of having my hair done by Monica two times. I have crazy hair dreams of Bright red, silvers, blondes pretty much unattainable colors for my highly previously died hair. Monica has a great way of listening to what you want and explaining what would or wouldnt work for your hair in particular. I really appreciate this, as she could definitely say this or that might work, try, and then leave me unhappy in the end. Each time I was able to go to her I felt like I was in the safe hands of a professional who would help me. Also very luxurious feeling place. Offer coffee, tea, wine, beer. Love the sink area, and the hair wash was an experience in itself. Thank you Monica!

This is a great place to go! All of the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Kim is an amazing hair dresser. She does excellent work and really knows how to communicate to understand your needs. The whole environment is very warm and welcoming and the service is professional. I am glad to have found this place after moving to the area!

Oh my gosh, Melissa (Bee Well Massage) is absolutely amazing at massages. I have scoliosis and various musculoskeletal issues related to my spine, and ive been seeing her for bodywork for YEARS and Ill never stop. she has an uncanny ability to find all the tough spots - even ones I didnt know where there! I genuinely consider sessions with her a mandatory part of my healthcare. 5 stars all day long!

I loved the haircut I walked out of the salon with! However I was a bit disappointed with the entirety of the experience. It’s a bit pricey so I was expecting to have my hair washed and styled with the nice products the salon uses but it was a quick dry cut instead. Which I feel like you pay for all of that. So I was just a bit surprised. That’s the first time I’ve had something like that happen.

Melissa (Bee Well Massage) gives the BEST MASSAGES!! Everything is lovely here, from the easy parking to the cozy decorations inside - I 100% recommend booking a massage here with Bee Well! They make really good gifts too.

Wonderful, organic experience. Owner, Betsy, is skilled, caring, & attentive to detail. I always leave there looking fabulous. Plus I know she used products good for me, safe for us, and great for the environment. On a side note, parking is easy unlike at many salons; and the back gardens are perfect for wedding photos. Check out this gem of a salon with spa services!

I had never had a facial before, but Kayla put me at ease and was very welcoming. I now know why people love facials so much! The establishment is very clean and comfortable and, best of all, completely vegan!

Hands down best customer service and welcoming environment I have experienced in a hair-cutting establishment!! And Gentleman!!: don’t let the term “salon” detour you from giving this place a shot. These stylists are PASSIONATE about getting you the best haircut even going the extent to offer suggestions based off of your hair type and the direction it naturally goes. (Which i deffinetly needed)If your a guy and you stop into any of the downtown barber shops your getting what Is considered the fast food service of hair cuts, they Obviously want you to be happy but they also need you in and out as soon as possible so if your like me and don’t know exactly what you would like to do with your hair every time and prefer consultation and a “no rush” kind of vibe In a rather important decision making process than I would recommend Organic Roots... Especially if your already in the South Portland Gardens area it can easy to drive past this Gem, I’m glad I did!! 10/10

I had a massage with Kate and it was AWESOME! She was great about checking in and making sure the pressure was okay and making sure I was comfortable. It was a very relaxing experience and I’ll definitely be seeing her again!

I’m a regular with Kayla. When I first went to Kayla, my skin was super congested—I’m talking about cystic acne to the point where it hurt to sleep. Kayla has always been so friendly and nonjudgmental. Fast forward a year of getting monthly facials, I have the occasional pimple, but for the most part, it’s just acne scarring. I can’t wait to see how my skin looks by next year. I honestly would not trust anyone else with my skin. Kayla is as professional and knowledgeable as it gets!!

I have had massages at Organic Roots for three years. The staff who greets me is always friendly and hospitable. The massages are always amazing and I walk out feeling completely relaxed. Highly recommended!

I’ve been going to Organic Roots since it opened. I followed Betsy there!!It is a very luxurious experience! I always feel pampered and very happy with my cut and color. Prices are fair too! Love it!

I had a wonderful experience. They kindly hosted my bachelorette group in staggered sessions for Covid. The place is clean and inviting. The massage I receive was aaahhhhhhmmmmmmaaazzzzzzinnnnggg. I wish I lived closer and I would become a regular. I will drive up from Mass on occasion to get a massage here again.

Really frustrating experience here with Monica. She has a nice personality but is a really BAD LISTENER. I told her Clearly and Explicitly NOT to cut my hair straight across and that she could cut an inch off. Left with it 6 INCHES shorter and cut in a straight line across my back. I had a friend with me who heard me clearly state what i did NOT WANT , and I left with the EXACT OPPOSITE of what I stated. I am extremely upset every time I look in the mirror. I will NEVER GO BACK. I will Never Recommend this place. Disappointed and disgusted as it will take a few years to get back the length and shape.

Kayla did a great job on my facial. My skin looked awesome just after and for many days. Though its a bit of a trek for me, Ill probably go back. Their prices seemed reasonable.
