Jonathan Douglas Salon in to me first class salon definitely five star! I have been going to Jonathan Douglas Salon since he first started doing masaages many years ago. I have gone to other places for massages but no one is a good as Jonathan. He is a natural when it comes to giving massages he seems to know just where the spots are that are causing pain and with his knowledge works through the area. I would recommend Jonathan Douglas Salon to everyone and anyone. If you want a massage you will never forget you need to come to Jonathan Douglas Salon. He is again the best and I am not one to write reviews but he deserves everyone to know just how excellent he is.Beth Libby

If you are looking for a Great Massage this is the place. Jonathan gives a great deep tissue massage. I had knots in my back I could not put socks on or stand up straight. After my time with Jonathan I was feeling Great. Highly recommend!! I dont write a lot of reviews but this is well worth your time for a massage.Thank You Jonathan See you again soon

If I could give 10 stars I would. Literally my favorite place to go for a couples massage. Its not just a massage, its an experience. I always leave feeling relaxed. My boyfriend and I absolutely love coming here. Theyre kind, professional, courteous, and amazing at giving massages. Every time we leave, we start asking each other when were going back. We would reccomend in an instant.

My boyfriend and I got the Valentines Massage Experience for 2 and we loved it! The studio was beautiful and the atmosphere was very relaxing. Both massage therapists were awesome and we will definitely be going back!

On the first day of a Portland/Acadia vacation my boyfriend and I had a couple’s massage with Jonathan and Darlene. This was my first massage/spa visit ever and it was spectacular! We began by sipping on mimosas, eating hors d’ouvres, and relaxing, followed by a simply excellent full body massage. It was a brilliant way to begin a vacation. I know we’ll be going again next time we’re in Maine.

As a former salon owner, my standards are high, as client, my experiences at Jonathan Douglas have been amazing. Ive had 2 couples massages, one with a bestie and one with a sister. Mimosas, yummy snacks, warm ginger foot soak in plush toasty robes .Darlene York Day and Jonathan Glidden are accomplished massage therapists, providing amazing services. Darlene is also my aesthetician , I love her work!!!I have referred many of my clients to the professionals at Jonathan Douglas. Its a wonderful experience in a beautifully appointed salon where the staff is welcoming and fun

I visited the salon yesterday. I was a hairstylist for 10 years myself, so my standards are high. Monique is just phenomenal! She is caring and asks all the right questions about your hair cut goals. The shop is clean and relaxing. I highly recommend Monique and the Jonathan Douglas Salon.

Surprised my MIL with a mother daughter spa day that included manicures pedicures massage and facial! We had a wonderful experience and enjoyed our relaxing time sipping mimosas and eating hors doeuvres! Jonathan and his staff went out of their way to provide us with an incredible experience and pampered us to the fullest! Looking forward to round two!!

I use to have to go to a chiropractor for neck and back pain. Since having monthly massages with Jonathan, I have not had to go to my chiropractor and feel great. Nice salon and great people.

It lost a star d/t fumbling into main entrance (ground level) thinking there would be a host to greet me. Just 2 stylists with clients and an awkward woman asking me where should you be??I connected with my lovely sylist as soon as i walked into upstairs and all was right in the world. Nice building on inside, clean, freindly and very knowledgable staff. A bonus was the gentleman who was able to talk about Jane Iredale products, and helped me make a choice!Off I went with my sassy cut and color with some good skin product to go home and try! Now thats a perfect day for me! Ack, Ill add the 5th star! It was that good!!

Jonathan and Jim were fantastic! I felt so comfortable and relaxed during my entire stay. This was my first time going and will absolutely be going back. Highly recommend

My stylist was great but for those prices bottle water or a beverage ,glass wine should be complimary Top notch salons offer such things and if you going to charge and act like a Top notch salon you should offer such things .

I took my mother and sister for the Mothers Day facial special. What an amazing experience! We were all so pampered. The service was amazing, so professional and knowledgeable. We will all be returning!

Horrible boliage technique that wasn’t discussed ahead of time and the results horrible and then toned down with low lights to a lesser horror show but still horrible. Now I am spending more money to get my hair fixed and I’m very unhappy since I still provided a good tip!
